A) Krakua is one of the smaller members since most of the guys here are titan sets so hes used to being picked up like a suitcase or for a piggy back ride. this was initially so he would not wander off or get lost or make them waste time, but then they just kept doing that out of habit. he loves it, actually, so when hes around other beings who are his size or worse smaller and so cant just grab him like an apple to drag him around he gets a lil sad about it

B) hes the only person who knows where Jerbraz is at all times. everybody else has learned to sense him or figure his position via hyper awareness of their space but Krakua can just fuckin. hear him. he will run at full speed and jump at him so Jerbraz has to catch him every single time they meet just to blow his cover. theyre having fun :)

C) typical order of mata nui exercise to improve your minds abilities: meditate uninterrupted for two hours while directly next to Krakuas noise tests. this includes fending him off (still meditating) when he tries to move his noise tests onto you specifically

D) the aforementioned noise tests are, in theory, a good exercise of Krakuas sonic powers by applying them to his staff and figuring out how they can affect the target through it. they consist, in practice, of Krakua smacking his staff against the closest surface available while applying a different more insane soundfont each time. he can do this for hours. he will do this for hours.

P/S: As someone who grew up in a Tropical country, there is basically no concept of Christmas other than the cool uncle cosplaying as the Santa, a worn down Christmas tree used year after year; the mall and the l thing I’ve got to experience that is somewhat close to Christmas is the Christian neighborhood and the local church 🙁

NERO MY BELOVED SOULMATE BESTIE!!!!

i’m back!!! i took a few weeks off because life has been a lot and i felt like i needed a little break from everything 🥲

how are you?? what have you been up to in these last few weeks?? i missed you so much!! and i have stories to tell!!

so, i went to paris for a week back in october. i don’t know if you knew this, but paris has been plagued by a bug infestation lately, and the week before me and my friend were supposed to leave they also started having bomb alarms around the city. like the day before we left versailles had been evacuated for a bomb (it was a false alarm in the end) so we were kinda scared and worried. but the city was okay and we didn’t have much of a choice so we went. it was amazing!!! the first two days were perfect, the weather was absolutely amazing, freezing but always sunny, and we walked around the classic spots of the city. we had lots of macarons and croissants too. that was always the best part of the day. then on day three we’d booked versailles. on the day before it had been evacuated again for a false alarm so i thought it would be safe, they checked the night before, but well… after we’d been inside one hour the guards started to talk hurriedly to each other and they led us to the exits, we got evacuated. it looked like they were trying not to cause a panic but it didn’t work, also because there were way too many people inside!! it was crazy and scary, but luckily we were okay and we got safely out. and it was another false alarm, luckily. we decided not to let it ruin the whole trip so that night we went to the eiffel tower and had a nice dinner and dessert. then day four was disneyland!!! it was SPECTACULAR!!! nero have you ever been to a disneyland park?? it is everything you could ever hope it to be. it is pure magic, pure happiness. my friend and i felt like we were outside of the universe, it felt like nothing could touch us, like no problem could reach us. we were kids again. we were singing along to all the songs from our childhood and riding all the attractions and posing with princesses and cartoon animals and we bought so many little souvenirs to keep the magic with us. i got a cheshire cat plushie which is now my favorite thing i own. i have absolutely no regrets even if it costed 30 euros. same goes for my minnie’s ears which had a unicorn horn and a rainbow veil (see attached photograph) another 30 bucks, i have worn them only once, and i love them to pieces 😂 anyways, now is where the fun part really starts. we walked out of disneyland at 11pm after the night show (made me cry for 30 minutes straight, totally would recommend) and we had to take a train to get to the underground. well obviously there was a suspicious backpack at the station so it was closed for about 30 minutes to figure out what it was. it was late and our phones were almost dead so we tried to look for a taxi or bus and they’d put up a special bus service to take us to the closest train station, but as you can imagine it was absolutely packed and when we got off my friend noticed that her bag was open and her wallet was gone. we rushed back to the park to see if they’d had it in the last shop where she bought something but nothing, then we rushed back home to call the police and block all the cards, but of course we only got to the champs-elysées and then they kicked us out of the underground because it was closing. again our phones were out of battery so we didn’t even know if the buses were still running or not or how to call a cab, but luckily a cab passed by like two minutes later and we managed to get back to the hotel. and well, the 24h hotel door was closed. we panicked for about 10 minutes and ringed the bell a thousand times before anyone came to open the door. they were “just in the back for a minute” and i mean, fair enough, but on top of everything it was just the last drop.

anyways, the next morning we went to the police and got all the documents we needed to get back to italy and it was okay, it was just a very long wait for a two seconds job so it pissed me off a bit, but still we had a whole day and a half left so we enjoyed it. we had the louvre planned for that afternoon and it was so beautiful. and it was very heartstopping. pun intended 😂 we actually went and looked for every room we saw in the show and stayed about five hours in each one. this is where elle and tao kiss for the first time, it’s the exact place. can you guess how much i cried??

the only thing we couldn’t find was the painting on the stairs where nick talks to elle. i was very upset about that :( but anyways, the next day we came home and all i can say for this trip is wow. it felt like a five months trip somehow 😂 it was tiring and stressful and it tested my anxiety a lot, but honestly it was kind of perfect. this friend i was with is my opposite and my half in a lot of things and somehow we managed to laugh it all off whenever something crazy happened and we still had one of the absolute best trips of my life. i am so happy, i actually am getting a tattoo for our day at disneyland because it feels necessary hehe

and speaking of tattoos, i have a new one to show you!!! i finally got another heartstopper tattoo!!! and it is perfect and my favorite ever ♥️ i’ve wanted this vignette on my skin forever, and every time i see it it reminds me of everything about this story and it makes me so happy

anyways, enough about me!!! i’ve been away from this hellsite for so long, so how are you?? how is life?? i am very eager to catch up!!

as for me, i've been doing okay!! i have finished university for the year, and i am currently preparing for my exchange (i go to the uk NEXT MONTH! cece that is so crazy) a part of preparing for my exchange is unfortunately working a lot, but i have been rostered every single public holiday coming up so i should be getting a good amount of money before i leave!

im OBSESSED w neros day at disneyland/lauren bousfield if you've heard of her! (i also found an older band she used to be in called 'strip mall siezures' that kinda feels in tune with her earlier work!) she does more noise/breakcore/hyperpop type stuff. would highly reccomend checking out her discography as a whole if you like music that'll make your ears ring. 100% not for everone tho its an aquired taste.

This is, of course, influenced by our own interpretation - from what we can see, your playlist touches on the becoming of something monstrous and ship-of-theseus type nature of the beast, and our specific interpretation is "they did that to themself, on purpose, after being taken against their will and gaining one hell of a grudge against the roaches".

We think you could probably honestly get some good stuff from FNAF fansongs, if you're willing to delve into that - a lot of them work surprisingly well for cordyceps in general, and we think that the sort of deliberately... "electronic", if that makes sense, tones that a lot of them take fits Zommoth quite well, but we do think that most of our offerings will be too specific to Our Specific Interpretation or too generally vibes-based, so you'll have to take this as General Suggestions.

We can offer The Wolf by SIAMES, Animal Impulses by IAMX, Bloodsuckers by Johnny Hollow, The Nowhere King from Centaurworld, Little Pistol and Body by Mother Mother, and Rule #21 - Memento Mori by Fish in a Birdcage for general suggestions - YMMV, your mileage may vary, please feel welcome to pick and choose, we have quite a few options rattling around here.

For "vibes" rather than lyrics, we can offer Chronos by Zef and Danimal Cannon (instrumental song), Probably End Up Dead In A Ditch Somewhere by Nero's Day At Disneyland (may be harsher to the ear than some of the others listed here) and Shut Eye by Stealing Sheep - we don't think that it's entirely possible to match the lyrics to a character on that one, admittedly.

Also on vibes, we can offer The Wolf Song by Amanda Palmer and Jason Webley - slightly more "general cordyceps" than anything else, fits with Leif as well. We can tentatively offer We Forgot We Were Human by the Dirt Poor Robins, but that one's more a roach song than a Zommoth song, specifically.

How everyone got their names

Jonathan Von Sales: Jonathan came to me on a spot after a muse asked the name (up until then I was just calling him ‘The Narrator’) because it just sounded elegant - Genevieve was an afterthought to be Extra™

I'm pretty sure this guy is the reason why I chose 'Von Sales' - because I saw his name on a school paper and thought Jonathan Von Sales sounds cool. 

Maelle Von Cannes: I knew I wanted a name with M for her, one that was unique but on the shorter side, a name that could technically fit a warrior. ‘Maelle’ means ‘chief, prince, ambitious’, so it clearly fit her. Von Cannes because I wanted her last name to match Jon’s (everyone from their planet has ‘Von’ in their surname). 

Stanley Sommers: Stanley is obvious, Sommers just sounded nice and happy, like he is.

Stellan Sommers: Since I didn’t want to call them Stanley & Stanley, I started looking around for similar names but eventually settled on Stellan. Here are the other name I was considering. I don’t know what I was thinking, trying to call him Chip or Stosh.

Bradley Spencer: Bradley got his name from another muse (Daniel Foyle) who started calling him Brat-ley, which turned to Bradley. Spencer came to mind almost immediately because it sounds like a surname someone like Bradley would have. 

Alice Nero: ‘Alice’ comes from ‘AliceMare’ the rpg game, ‘Nero’ comes from ‘Nero’s Day At Disneyland’ which is an experimental musical project.

Been thinking about what genres everyone's first songs would be, don't mind meeee

Yuma - I'm feeling hyperpop, bright and flashy, to accompany the visuals of the mystery labyrinth. A very upbeat tone, and the song would show some of the mysteries being solved in the labyrinth- no other context though. Each chorus would go dark for a second and show him doing the sword slice before a culprit drops dead.

Halara - Here I'm thinking the type of noir, like the old kind of detective shows? Grim and bleak visuals, and would mainly focus on them coldly accepting money, solving mysteries and beating up those who get in their way. The particular murder I imagine for them is them getting particularly angry and beating a guy so hard they break his neck, so I'm thinking there'd be a lot of people suddenly twisting their head in the MV.

Desuhiko - Rock. Rock, I'm thinking kind of fast rock. The song would focus on the split second that he made an order that he wasn't qualified for and what was racing through his mind then. I'm thinking the song focuses on the split second nature of it, using really short fast notes, and it ends super abruptly, with no warning before the instruments fade out.

Fubuki - Pop, but the kind that sounds really trauma-dumpy. The song would keep looping in on itself, reaching the chorus before the main melody goes back around 20 seconds, but the time it goes back each time decreases. The notes would reach higher and higher in pitch each time the track loops as well. Just before it goes back each time, it would show the person dying, and each loop closes in on Fubuki's face, who grows more desperate alongside the rising pitch. The song would fade out with Fubuki exhausted and unable to go back any further, just staring at the body.

Vivia - Acoustic, definitely. It would show him just living his life for the most part, in dreary colours as he trudges along. Every so often the colour become even darker before the sounds become rough and the screen goes dark for a few seconds. Then the colours return to what they were and Vivia continues going about his day. The fourth time this happens, you're able to catch a glimpse of a knife and the screen goes dark before a flatline sound can be heard and the song ends.

Yakou - Lofi, and the MV is very heavy on symbolism. The first part of the MV shows him and a bird. He cares for the bird, lovingly protecting it and shielding it from any dangers. During this section however, the image keeps flashing to what looks like a man breathing heavily while holding a knife. Halfway through, there's an explosion and it cuts to Yakou, holding a knife while looking down at something. The bird is then shown dead on the floor, with Yakou standing over it and seemingly looking somewhere else. The rest of the MV is Yakou pacing around, while flashes of the dead bird and him holding a knife are shown.

I feel like I can't comment too much about the music specifically because I'm honestly not very knowledgeable on music even though I love it. I love ALL of this though I can picture the visuals so clearly in my brain its GREAT you're very good at showing through words!!! I also agree with all the genres and I especially love the Fubuki one where it keeps repeating and getting more desperate. Also reading Yuma's immediately made me think about Nero's Day at Disneyland? That kind of vibe fits the Mystery Labyrinth I think!!!

Im also OBSESSED with the symbolism you have for Yakou's like omg... Actually all of the symbolism and the metaphors and such you used like its so sick!!! You're making me desperately wanting this to be real /lh

But yeah this is all GREAT thank you so much for sharing I can see all of this in my brain so vividly I love it I love it.

As for like... In this alternate world where the viewers wouldn't know the characters I'm going to like. give my best guess on what people would vote them as based only on what you gave me!!

Yuma: I feel like it would be very strange, especially since it would be the first one. But I can imagine it being everyone's immediate red flag when you can actually see him swinging his sword. If you took voice dramas into account I think that would make the voting even more complicated. So I think it would be very close but for the first round he'd be Innocent. Halara: I think it would be majority Guilty. They'd probably have some very dedicated fans though who are digging up the evidence to prove they're innocent and analyzing all of the people they get their money from and all of the people they beat up... But yeah I think it'd be majority Guilty. Desuhiko: This would be one of the more difficult ones. Like I feel like it has so little information on the surface if you don't already know what's happening. Especially if his disguises are also in play. Who is this unrelated guy? Is that his victim? Is it someone he knows? I don't think any of them would reveal their Fortes to Es and by extension the viewers so it'd be very hard to tell what's happening. And I think because of that for the first round he'd be voted Innocent because there just isn't enough info to condemn him for this first trial. Fubuki: Innocent for sure. I'm sure a small group would see her as guilty, but the viewers would probably pick up pretty quickly on how desperately she was trying to undo it and how it was most likely a mistake. I think added with whatever her Voice Drama would be would paint her in a VERY sympathetic light. so I think she'd be majorly voted Innocent. Vivia: Another one that is clouded in mystery. It doesn't tell us what exactly he did, why he did it, or what any of his motivation was. It just lets us know that, yes, he did in fact kill someone. I think the parts where it starts to go dark would be very heavily analyzed and could be taken in so many different ways by viewers. Taking the Voice Drama into account and how we talked about how he would be mostly honest but very very non descriptive. Everyone would just know that he wanted to live peacefully, and whoever it is he killed got in the way of that, but there isn't a lot of information. So all of that to say... I think it would be another close one, but ultimately he'd end up as Guilty. That said I think he'd be like a fan favorite. Yakou: I think with how symbolic his first MV would be, he'd also be very hotly debated among the fans. People would debate what the explosion means. If the explosion is what actually killed the bird and if the knife is a misdirect. But at the same time it very obviously shows him standing over that bird with a knife, so it's VERY easy to draw your own conclusions that whoever this bird represents must be his victim, because no one else appears in this specific MV. So that HAS to be his victim and he killed it, right? Did he mean to do it? No one really knows. But I think he'd be voted majority Guilty.

all of the fan theories would be WILD too like I can imagine all of the long tumblr analysis posts and theories and people pointing out details n stuff.

im in a really good mood at work tonight so my brain is letting me listen to music instead of a podcast so ive been listening to the album salesforce by lauren bousfield on repeat....i highly highly recommend it if you like experimental breakcore/glitchcore music, she is an absolute master of the genre. she was also part of the experimental breakcore outfit nero's day at disneyland, which did one of my other favorite albums ever, from rotting fantasylands. go listen to both albums. u will not regret it if you like loud harsh noises and really incredible melodies and command of interesting sounds
