rewatching episode five of hero's purpose... noticed this about how link looks at ganondorf as he appears before him
vs how ganondorf sees link when he realizes who he is

My thoughts on GO S2 as opposed to S1 are that it’s much less tightly written, meaning occasionally the pacing is a bit off and some scenes seem extraneous, BUT… it makes up for it in raw emotion. S1 is a fun, extremely memorable romp with great dialogue, whereas S2 really makes you think and feel. Despite some minor pacing issues the writing in S2 is very intelligent and I will be thinking about how it utilizes literary techniques for a long time indeed. Besides, it’s a “bridge” season! I’m glad it has its own identity.

There’s that post that’s like ‘everyone should get into a tiny niche fandom at least once’ fully agree, that was really fun -- but I would like to add that everyone should get into a fandom where their opinions run counter to major fanon because it really teaches you about sticking to your guns and trusting your interpretation of the text without having to rely on peer validation
because WHAT are people talking about sometimes
