Atla live action 😐
#thats my honest reaction 😐#to be fair ive only seen 20 minutes of the s1 finale bc my parents are watching it but. mmmmm kinda mid#like. the casting is definitely an improvement since the last time they tried a live action but it feels like the writing falls flat#or maybe im being harsh bc ive only heard negative criticism on it beforehand. but fr anytime u bring up the original its already#good and not just because its the original. so much fucking detail went into it to the point of someone noticing azula wielding mai's knive#to how well thought out irohs character is used as a way of uniting the cast especially as zukos foil#i heard that sokkas sexism was toned down and i have to agree that feels like a cheap move. like i get WHY they think it would be better#but its not about how that reflects on real world its about how it affects the story. sokka starts out as a misogynistic asshole because#it makes it that much more impactful when he changes. toning that down makes it flatter and makes his character development weak#and someone pointed out they didnt even make him wear the kyoshi warrior uniform and i know it feels like such a small detail but#come on man. they did that in the original because not only does it help him really walk in their shoes - wearing 'feminine' clothing and#makeup and having suki explain its significance but it also ties in with the shows theme of harmony and intersectionality#i was also disappointed when they had the fire sages explain how the water tribe draws power from the moon because in the original it was#IROH who explained it to aang and everyone else BECAUSE we as the audience is under the impression hes with the 'bad guys'#and it builds up to how he learned from the other nations which reconciles his past as a war general and his character overall#AND its an excellent starting point for the cast and audience to understand how the nations arent as closed off as you would think#plus you would think its only fire nation doing propaganda but they expanded on that with earth kingdom censorship and it WORKS#a lot of things in the live action also feel arbitrary like. they gave momo a near death experience for 5 minutes for no reason#im firmly on the stance of bringing back filler moments instead of putting major events right after each other so that u give your#audience a sense of time passing and to really absorb the story. but i think thats more like shock value than filler and yeah its a small#thing to gripe about but those things build up and its really annoying. the thing abt avatar filler moments is that however small#its at least meaningful. hell even the beach episode emphasizes how isolated zuko and his friends are as child soldiers#i also swore to never watch the first live action since it was that bad but i really liked the stylized tattoos they used for aang#anyway. those arejust my thoughts. im not gonna watch the rest because im a ride or die for the original aftr growing up and#rewatching it at least 20 times as a kid. but theres definitely room for improvement and i wish ppl wouldnt take it as 'better' just cuz#netflix is adapting it. i wouldve killed for them to just reanimate the entire avatar series and touch NOTHING ELSE no redub#no changes to the story. just reanimate the thing and leave the rest alone and youd make easy money just the same#ALSO its very jarring not hearing jack desena and dante basco voicing sokka and zuko cause their voices were the most recognizable to me#i get that its because its live action but im allowed to feel a little sad abt that. and uncle irohs accent was really soothing#yapping

Diasomnia Book, Chapter 2 Translations [7, 22]
as always, my own translation. I am learning as I go, I do this out of love for the game. There will be mistakes.
DO NOT REPOST
Summary: Day of the party. The older Heartslabyul members say their farewells. Cater is *so* not avoiding feelings right now.
[7-22]
Diasomnia Dorm – Lounge
Saturday night
Lilia: Hello everyone, thank you all for coming to the “Lilia Vanrouge’s Farewell Party” today
Lilia: It’s been two and a half years since I entered Night Raven College
Lilia: The time I spent here was filled with days full of youth
Lilia: Today it’s my treat. Eat, talk, and make a fuss!
*clapping and cheering voices*
Cater: He-yo, Lilia-chan!
Cater: Cay-kun and Riddle-kun didn’t really want to show up empty handed so…
Cater: *Riddle voice* “Isn’t okay if it disappears during the party?”
Cater: So I had Trey-kun make a cake!
Lilia: Oh, Cater. Trey. Also Riddle. I’m glad you’re here.
Trey: I was in the same class as Lilia only after becoming third years
Trey: Your stories were always interesting.
Trey: Since we’re both vice-leaders, and I was able to consult and rely on you...
Trey:…I wanted us to graduate with together.
Lilia: I was the one who always enjoyed talking to Trey
Lilia: As a food lover, I was able to exchange opinions, and there were also many things to discover.
Trey: I was always surprised by Lilia’s unique recipes…haha…
Lilia: I am going to give the various sweets I learned to bake from Trey to the neighbors as a way of saying hello to them.
Trey: Oh, I see-…Please follow the recipe. And be careful about the measurements and temperature.
Cater: Lilia-chan!
Cater: I wanted to do a light music club graduation concert with Lilia after our internships…
Cater: And this is what you were planning?
Cater: I can’t believe that we’re going to say goodbye all of a sudden.
Cater: Well…It’s only natural that each meeting has its farewell.
Cater: But I still feel lonely.
Lilia: Cater, we’ve been together in the light music club since we were first years.
Lilia: Frustrating practices…members leaving one after another due to differences in musicality…
Lilia: Amid all that, only the two of us who are gentle boys remained.
Cater: That’s right. Since it can’t be helped, why don’t we have a session together?
Cater: I was so surprised when Lilia-chan started playing hardcore metal with a 5-string bass!
Lilia: Hahah. My heavy sound and your pop together…
Lilia: We created such an unique sound
Lilia: I still find it strange how nobody came to scout us to an entertainment company.
Lilia: The second year, Kalim, who plays the folk instruments, joined the rhythm team…
Cater: Ha ha! It was really chaotic in the beginning, but it was really fun.
Cater:…Lilia-chan, thank you for being my friend during these two and a half years. I’ll cherish the pictures we took together.
Cater: So, let’s take one last photo! Take a pic with me!
Cater & Lilia: *pose together* yay~!
*camera shutter*
Cater: #LightMusicClub3rdYears #FirstGenGentleBoys #BFF
Cater: …Post completed!
Riddle: Lilia-senpai
Riddle: Once again…thank you for your help during the interdormitory magift competition.
Riddle: I’m sure it would’ve been difficult for us to settle the matter on our own.
Lilia: What are you saying Riddle?
Lilia: It was only thanks to Heartslabyul’s Leader that we were able to resolve it without endangering the Diasomnia students or the audience.
Lilia: I will thank you again on behalf of Malleus.
Riddle: From here on, I will speak personally
Riddle: I belong to the same equestrian club as Sebek and Silver
Lilia: Of course I know that.
Riddle: They’ve always said, “we are what we are now only because of Lilia-senpai’s guidance.”
Riddle: If I had the chance, I would’ve liked to be taught equestrian skills by this senior…
Riddle: I’m very disappointed.
Lilia: Ha ha ha! They’re always exaggerating. Don’t take it seriously.
Lilia: I hope you will continue to hone your skills alongside Silver and Sebek.
Riddle: Of course. Lilia-senpai, please take care of yourself.
Trey: Be careful not to get hurt or sick.
Cater: Stay healthy even if you’re far away! Get in touch through magicam any time~
Lilia: Yeah. You too.

Listen, I know this might sound untrue, but Arthur IS mostly a bad dude—or at least not as good a man as some claim. (I love him still but hear me out)
This is not me arguing “he’s bad so you shouldn’t like/glorify him” at all, I promise—I can’t stand that rhetoric. It’s just that I see a lot of “he’s so kind” “so good at heart” “so hard on himself” and I wonder why folks so often adamantly, un-ironically claim him as a misunderstood gentle giant type.
The fact that he’s mostly nice to those he cares about and is willing to help strangers in need (never mind both of those things are optional anyhow, you can just as easily play him as an asshole who doesn’t come to anyone’s aid—) doesn’t undo the harm he’s responsible for throughout the game. Nor does him being told to do so by an authority or being a victim of circumstance undo it.
His good doesn’t make up for his bad, and I don’t think it actually needs to. His bad certainly doesn’t take away from what makes him compelling and likeable to the audience; but within the context of his world, he’s right to be unhappy with who he is. It’s not a matter of low self esteem or self worth issues, his unhappiness with himself comes from self awareness.
(Saying this with a grain of salt because you know, fictional character with no real agency whose actions are as such for plot reasons), he may have had a shit hand dealt to him, but he’s a person who makes bad choices. He’s charming and relatable (and hot lol) but I’m not sure I understand the whole simplifying his character to “good person stuck in bad situation” thing, when it plainly isn’t the case, no matter how much we like him.
I think the “you’re a good man Arthur” line gets thrown around as proof of him being good at heart; but I think it’s more like, he needed to hear it to act as such. He needed to be told how to be good and pushed into reflection and immediate actions. He needed to be told that he’s a good man by others because he needed permission in a sense to be different than he knows himself to be. (Take a shot every-time I say good)
“The Thomas Downes mission was out of character” it really isn’t. He says what kind of man he is multiple times, he hammers the point home that he’s a bad man. And while there is definitely a bit of self loathing in that sentiment, he’s still speaking his truth. He’s just unhappy with it; he IS the type of man to commit an atrocity like beating a dying man for a few bucks. It goes against the beliefs fans have projected onto him, usually coming from their own moral compass instead of what the character shows his own to be, and that’s why it ‘feels so wrong’ to see him doing something actually despicable.
We arrive at this misunderstanding due to fandom projection, as well as this rampant desire to problem solve by ‘fixing’ the canon material to fit a sort of agenda. Ie, ‘I only like the good attributes in this character’ ‘it’s only acceptable to like this bad dude provided he’s always feeling guilt for his actions’ or ‘he’s not really at fault for them.’
But the thing is, even if Arthur is at conflict with his actions, the guilt he may feel isn’t an indication of anything pure within him. He’s in total control and chooses still to go along with everything. I tend to think an action done in guilt is functionally the same as an action done with enjoyment. Arthur feeling bad at the end of the game for his faults and complicity doesn’t mean he is good. Nor does it mean he ‘was a good the whole time’, nor does it excuse what he’s done.
We don’t have to make him a better person than he is in order to like him, is what I’m trying to say I guess. It’s fine to acknowledge all parts of him, to do otherwise does a disservice to his character as it often flattens them beyond recognition. And it’s also fine to hone in on what you appreciate most and write and draw and celebrate that while functionally ignoring the rest if you so choose—but it’s also fine (and usually important) to acknowledge who the character is without the plethora of projections placed upon them.
Arthur ends the game with a loving act, more or less saving John, saving Abigail, Tilly, paving the way for them to become something better than he was. None of these things are meant to be a great action done to save his soul or redeem him in any eyes, especially not his own. He dies on a good note (and yeah I would say low honour/back for the money is still a ‘good’ choice for a low honour story), and shifts his focus to the last good deed he’s done in his final moment as a way to leave off peacefully despite all his wrongdoings. He doesn’t get redemption really, and he doesn't wholly achieve 'goodness', despite all the potential for growth the audience can see in him, that’s the deliberate tragedy of it all.

Emet-Selch has been seeing something odd the entire time the Warrior of Light has been on the First, but he wants to take this last chance to ask -- before S'ria is sent to Eulmore and the final Lightwarden is faced.
Ao3
"Well, fancy seeing you here."
Emet-Selch's voice made S'ria nearly jump out of his skin – namely because he'd been alone in the Pendants hallway a moment prior. S'ria fixed him with a particularly unimpressed look.
"Was there something you wanted?"
"I'm merely curious about your thoughts on my little lesson earlier."
Ah, yes. The rather dramatic explanation of the shards and their nature, visuals included.
"It made a certain measure of sense." Upon being flatly regarded for several moments, S'ria spoke up again with exasperation. "What, do you want me to say something else?"
"I simply thought someone of your unique nature would have more opinions on it." He made an elaborate shrug, adopting a faux-casual tone. "Speaking of which... I have a question I've been meaning to ask you."
S'ria sighed and leaned against the wall. "I can't stop you from asking, but I won't promise an answer."
"Is the middle of a hallway where you'd prefer to have this conversation? You don't seem too keen to be overly candid with your supposed allies. As fascinating as that is, I am trying to be accomodating of your quirks." He frowned at S'ria after moment with no response. "If it was unclear, I was hoping you would invite me in to your quarters – 'tis only proper courtesy."
S'ria's body betrayed an increasing amount of anxiety and Emet-Selch wondered if he knew how obvious it was. "Well, I suppose I'll thank your 'proper courtesy' for not simply approaching me in my room to begin with." He opened the door and gave Emet-Selch an unreadable look. "If you have any untoward intentions, I'd heavily recommend not acting on them."
Any response Emet-Selch would've given died under the brief wave of murderous intent rolling off of S'ria. There and then gone in a flicker. He raised an eyebrow and waited for Emet-Selch to walk in first, the message coming across loud and clear – I'm not turning my back on you.
S'ria seemed ill-at-ease with someone else in his personal quarters, hovering awkwardly near the door. His eyes flickered into the far corner of the room a few times, as if seeing something that distracted him.
Ill-at-ease barely covered it, actually. He looked as though he was about to crawl out of his skin if Emet-Selch stayed a single second longer than necessary.
"Okay? Get on with it."
Emet-Selch pushed down the urge to act insulted by the blunt hostility. "You remember my explanation, I take it, of you and your fellow Source-mate's boon? Six entire parts more whole than the inhabitants of this wretched shard."
"You've made your disdain very clear, yes."
"Yes, yes – Then I'll ask this plainly. What in Zodiark's name is wrong with your soul? Not the Light, deeper than that."
"Excuse me?" S'ria looked so baffled that the fear almost dropped from his features.
"The rejoined parts, they're supposed to be seamless, but you've gone and…done what, exactly?" Emet-Selch looked, somehow, genuinely disturbed. "It's not very plain to see but the closer I look – it's like you've been re-Sundered along new faults."
S'ria couldn't think of any response but to laugh – half hysteria, half genuine vindication at knowing something the Ascian doesn't.
"Oh, is that all? Get out."
"What, I haven't earned so much as a mere –"
"Get out."
Emet-Selch raised his hands in supplication and stepped backwards into darkness, leaving S'ria alone in his room again.
Mostly alone, anyway.
Ardbert had been looking at him with more than a little concern and judgment from the moment he'd let Emet-Selch into the room. He watched the spot where the man had disappeared with no small amount of distrust, before turning back to S'ria with a nervous laugh.
"Hey, it's your room, but if you want to bring someone back here, let me know so I can give you some privacy."
S'ria abruptly looked somewhat nauseous.
Ardbert cringed. "Okay, noted, that was rather in poor taste. Sorry."
S'ria sighed and waved him off. "It's not… you don't need to worry about that happening." He dropped to the floor and pulled his knees up to his chest, trembling settling into his body. "This was a mistake, I don't know if I can sleep here tonight. It feels like I gave him permission or something." His breathing quickened and his shifted his arms up to hide his face.
"Good thing you've got an invisible watchdog, then."
That snapped S'ria out of his spiral. "Huh?"
"S'ria, I don't sleep, no one can see me, and I have the ability to start making really loud noises right next to you. No one will get the drop on you while you're resting."
S'ria lifted his head and smiled shakily at him with a look that suggested he might start crying, and gods did Ardbert hope that didn't happen. He'd really be way out of his depth.
Oh, who was he kidding. He'd been out of his depth for a long time now.

ohranger (1995-1996)
#ohranger lb#super sentai lb#umbrella.thoughts#umbrella.posts#that's a wrap everybody!!#so have some screencaps i took throughout watching#i think it was nice but not the best#i think that once the blocker robos were introduced we lost sight#like a ton of things would randomly happen like in the end there's no build up to bara micron the empire just has the ability to make this#machine and then they can also make demon dimensions???#even earlier on the emperor landed on another planet and survived but only his head but he had a whole lab???#riki never really becomes more than a guardian of dorin and i think they could have done a lot with lore when riki and dorin were introduce#but instead they kinda just pop in from time to time and dorin just can summon the crystal and save the ohrangers#machines don't sleep and then the baby needs to take a nap???#the emperor was the only one that survived all those years ago but other machines are recognized from the same time???#i didn't mind the tone change but i think they could have made it less dark without sacrificing the story#there was just a lot that didn't need to be there or stuff that took too much time#there was so many robots and half of them are rushed into the story like they were made bc miura knew they'd need them but how???#i would have liked to know more about the characters too#i think we had really interesting development in the beginning but eventually we were trying so hard to raise the stakes that the ohrangers#became standard characters where i think they could've been iconic#i don't mind not knowing everything but seeing little bits of bonding between the members isn't enough for me to love the team completely#this is getting really long so in short it think it was a strong start but fumbled after the blocker robos were introduced the show had#potential and quite a few really good episodes with interesting themes#so yeah i thought it was fun and i like the team but overall it's not too high on the list

"Prince of Egypt" is one of those movies the internet has decided that you're not allowed to hate.
Too bad I do!
#i gave this movie so many chances#and every time around the 10th plague I throw my popcorn at the screen and give up#Act 1 makes a big hairy deal about how awful the murder of children was#then our “good guys” do the same thing in Act 3 and nobody says jack or shit#we just breeze on past it#just one scene where Moses was like “WTF GOD?! This wasn't part of the deal!” would have saved it but they didn't do that#don't give me that “they wanted to be respectful to the source material” crap#A. If you were raised nonreligious like I was you would agree that Exodus us just a badly written story (with no historical basis btw)#and B. I'm pretty sure in the source material RAMSES DROWNED!#Why would you change that???#I like Stephen Schwartz but the music in this is just a snore too#the animation is beautiful but the tone is all over the place and the jokes are cringe#i just don't fucking like this movie#I just really don't fucking like this movie#if there ever was a “so good it's bad” movie this would be my pic#in that the quality of the animation distracts people from how fundamentally broken the plot and morality is#no really name one other movie where the hero does the same evil thing he denounced the villain for doing#and the movie doesn't even take a breather to point out the hero's hypocrisy#also I don't know I just don't think “god will kill you for what your parents did” is a good thing to put in a movie FOR CHILDREN#your religion has melted your brains and this movie sucks

i think it’s only fair to take george’s words on his sexuality as fact until he officially says otherwise. it’s not really anyone’s place to try to look for hints. time and time again people are made to talk about their sexualities before they’re ready because of people digging and making assumptions. like to be honest some of y’all are starting to sound like leaktwt at this point. he’s okay with the shipping and that’s great keep going with that and the jokes are very funny but when it comes to truthing his actual sexuality giving him labels he hasn’t claimed yet is invasive
here are my thoughts on george's sexuality if you want to give it a read 👍 it's from a bit ago but my take is pretty much the same however with recent developments I think that there is nothing wrong with taking things said at face value. I hope that when you say his "words on his sexuality" you are including the "I like guys" moment. if you are, then I think we are on the same page with it
#the same way that tub.bo putting a pride flag in his bio was his way of subtly telling us he likes men#or ran.bo.o making gay jokes was their way of coming out#I don't think it's out there to assume the cute date snaps and the kissing snap and I Like Guys and so on could be the same thing#I don't find them to be hints of anything but rather forms of expression#like I don't think he's straight and I'm open about that. I don't know what he is I don't claim to know but I don't think he's straight#and it's not me digging around for clues or little easter eggs it is quite literally me watching his streams and looking at snapchat storie#I said this before but events do not exist in a vacuum and sometimes if you step back and look at the whole picture you go Huh.#when I take a step back and look at the whole picture I go wow I would be shocked if dnf WEREN'T dating#I am a truther. being a truther I cannot believe that george is straight#I'm not stripping his autonomy by presuming that based off consensually released public content#he knows how he is perceived - from his earliest content he's been conscious of his public image - and if he wanted to change that#then he is a grown man who is capable of doing so#he's capable of restating that he's straight or telling dream to tone it down with the dnfing if that's where he takes issue#and to act like he isn't is frankly strange#<- not at you just in general#anyways sorry for the essay I wanted to explain myself and it's been a minute since I have#if you want to have a discussion about it you can dm me#discourse#aya asks#ref

IT IS not wip wednesday but when there’s a wip, there’s a way and that, my friends, is the name of this game~ I’ve been developing a story idea, and since it’s still in the brainstorming stages, I thought I would share the little snippets I’m playing with to figure out what I want the story to be since they don’t (shouldn’t) need context. The first snippet is my attempt to play with a voice and tone lackadaisically emulating an author i love, and I wrote this as prologue, even if it doesn’t end up being the beginning. Seems a fair place to start! It’s approximately 900 words and if you read, I hope you enjoy! So...
“Now that we’ve had our introductions, allow me to pour the tea,” the older man says.
Liquid amber streams into a porcelain cup. The cup is decorated in lavender petals, but when the younger man lifts it to his lips, he smells peppermint.
“What brings you to the area?” The older man asks. The teapot decorated in sprigs that matches the cup is set down, but it settles as softly as a brooding mother dove. The older man eases into his armchair and presses his fingertips together.
“Nothing in particular,” the younger man answers honestly.
He is too busy scanning the sitting room to sip his tea. Books with leather or cloth bindings fill the roasted chestnut shelves. Patches of olive-green wallpaper with intricate patterns of dragonflies spread across the few sections of the wall not hidden by shelves. A painted portrait of the older man hangs over a writing desk, and its golden frame glows in lamp light.
“Are you lost?” The portrait’s voice comes from the armchair.
“I might as well be.” The younger man’s gaze snaps towards a quirked brow over twinkling eyes. Clearing his throat, he adds, “I can’t stay long. I have to go back.”
“How can you be lost if you know where and when to be?”
“I’m not sure where and when I want to be,” he admits quietly. The amber tea swirls around the cup and he watches the ripples. “I thought I did. I thought I knew where I wanted to go. But I’m no longer sure this is it.”
“Then find a different destination,” the older man makes it sound as effortless as wings alighting on the wind.
“It’s too late.” The younger man shakes his head. “I’ve spent too long on this path, put in too much to just abandon it.”
“It’s never too late to change,” the older man says. “How’s the tea?”
The younger man remembers the cup in his hand and takes a sip. He is not fond of how peppermint cannot reconcile its sharp brightness with the earthiness that is signature of most teas. Still, he swallows and is grateful for the beverage.
“You’ve found the place that change happens the most easily,” the older man continues. “You might search for a new path here.”
“I have to go back.” The younger man shakes his head.
“You say that you have to but what do you want to do?” He pulls away from the puffing cushions in the armchair. While he hunches over his lap to reach for the assortment of pitchers and pots on the tea tray, his olive eyes search the younger man, reflecting gold in the light.
With a sigh, the younger man rubs his thumb along the rim of his teacup.
“I don’t know. To love, to live, to know it all matters. For it to have meaning.”
“And you can’t find all that in your current path?” The older man quirks a brow, challenging him.
“I’m trying,” the younger man says, a bit defensively.
“Of course.” The older man gestures towards a pot with a wooden dowel sticking out. “Perhaps you would like the tea if it were a little sweeter.”
Feeling as if he is expected to try it, the younger man directs honey into his cup with a comb-shaped wand. Once he leans back in his seat, his thumb lightly sticks to the porcelain.
“I just wish I could be free of it,” he admits. “Free of responsibilities, free of having to prove myself to others.”
“That is not so hard to accomplish here,” the older man says, gesturing towards the walls covered in books and dragonflies. “In fact, change comes easier than most can plan for.”
The younger man sips the tea, and though the honey has sweetened it, the peppermint is made more abrasive against the earthy warmth. He glances towards the cuckoo clock. The second hand measures the silence between them with a tick, tick, tick.
It is almost four.
“I should leave.” He uncrosses his legs, ready to stand. “Thank you for the tea and chat.”
“My pleasure,” the older man murmurs, and the younger man throws back the rest of his tea before placing the cup on its saucer with a clink.
He feels lightheaded when he stands. With a stretch, he tries to dispel the dizziness.
“Before you go, may I have your name?” the older man asks.
While the younger man tilts his head, gentle brown bangs shift over his eyes.
“Haven’t I given it already?” he asks, a bemused smile on his lips.
Tick.
“Just checking.” The older man grins as a cuckoo’s mechanical song marks the change in the hour.
Though the younger man has not taken a step forward or back, he suddenly lurches and grabs onto his chair. His heart flutters against his ribs, as if trying to fly to his throat. With furrowed brows, he whips his head back towards the older man who watches quietly. The younger man hyperventilates as his lungs constrict. He realizes, as his eyelids grow heavy, he has run out of time.
A sound as fragile as the cuckoo’s twittering escapes the younger man’s lips before he drops.
The older man’s bright voice is somehow abrasive against his warm tone.
“It was nice to meet you.”

i want to. write
#🌙.rambles#words whether they be written or voiced r just so special to me#they. they're also like this pathway to different worlds. to so much thoughts and emotions and memories#and they connect us as human persons. they relate with our identity and selves#i want to write of different worlds. maybe reflections of my reality#so much things i can't say but there's always some truth in those stories full of secrets#i wonder what they say. what you read from them. and how it differs between us. our brings us closer#aaaa n that's the thing. theres so much in life to feel and think about and dream and take in that#it gets overwhelming. all things in moderation / even good things can lose their meaning#but it's hard when there's so much to life#ways we express ourselves; through words. poems. letters. stories#music. melodies and harmonies. with or without lyrics#voice. tone. pitch. the way words itself are said. and shared#the way we communicate through actions. in silence there is a sense of peace#in touch is a reminder that the world is alive and real#in a desire to communicate better i think i end up overwhelming myself n getting lost n confused#n then words in relation to both reality n fiction. n how's there's so much about them#in ignorance and knowledge. the way perception changes and other aspects of life are influenced by all these n our own individuality#satisfaction is hard when you focus on what is not there instead of being grateful of whaf you have#of course it'll never be enough. but chasing perfection only leads to pain#life and love is proof that there is meaning in it all.#there's sm in my head and in my heart n in the messy notes i have that i. can't say#so much pain and ache and self-hatred. but it's worse to be afraid of living than to die#n so hold on what you can. let that be enough for you. allow that kindness and acceptance#so even if it's lacking. you can keep that kindness. and let it remind you of the meaning in life#it actuallt hurts bcs there's really so much i want to do but there's so little time#but even though it hurts. even w all the pain i'm still alive. n that fact is a promise and a letter for the future#for all the endless possibilities and i'll endeavor to accept at the very least myself#so i can say in the end that i truly lived.#aaa so much i want to say but maybe i'm still afraid. so i'll write it all in my notes

man I’m so happy for the interview fans. I’m happy to be watching this excellent show. I’m glad so much was changed and it all works. I love when there are drastic improvements on original works and revamped (HA!) adaptations find and emphasize the good parts of the  story while confronting and handling the flaws. and when they still manage to be cohesive works on their own. delicious

It’s not that I’m not a fan of Babylon 5, it’s more that I’m MORE of a fan of what the show could have been if it had not diverged from the way the story was being set up through Season 1. I’m a fan of what the path not taken was trying to be.
