I love me some eldritch, incomprehensible ghost speak in fics, but in my heart ghost speak sounds like a theremin being played.
Like, it's one of those instruments that can sound so much *like* a human voice, and sound nothing like one all in the same song. It can make kind of chipping noises, it can make some truly horrifying sounds. It can be beautiful, it can be creepy, it's peak ghost speak to me
(Also just love the idea of people playing the theremin at ghosts to join the ghost speak convo being like the meme of when people meow to their cats, but like are saying "taxes" or "ketchup" in response to "hi" lol)
Anyway please juat imagine Danny & the other ghosts sounding like this while they talk/fight:

makes me giggle that laszlo is playing a theremin for like 3 seconds during the baron’s burial scene and then it’s never mentioned again ever

I've had enough of epic full orchestra compositions of the theme. I want Dr Who on a theremin, goddammit!

wish arcades could make even more of a comeback in the us ONLY so that we can get rhythm games as good as the ones in japan...like listen, i love the guitar hero cabinet in my local arcade (and love saying hi to hatsune miku at the imported cabinets they have!) but it'd be cool to have even more songs with charts and controls as cool as chunithm / sound voltex / etc.

Did you know that Procreate doesn't have a lot of the standard filter/effects tools that Photoshop and Clip Studio have? For the most part I'm A-OK fine living without those, but the one that boggles my mind is that Procreate doesn't have a stroke feature. I bring this up because I use stroke a lot for subtle things, and I use it a lot for graphic things (like comic binding boxes, lettering, etc.)... and, for the current illustration, I used it for almost the entire background. So do you want to know the stupid way to simulate the stroke effect in Procreate? SURE YOU DO. You have to duplicate the item, or lines, you want to have a stroke effect on... You then move it below your object/lines, gausian blur the duplicate beneath to 2 - 3%, then keep duplicating that blurred copy and merging it with itself until the extra selection of pixels created by the blur are, once more, solid. It's a lot of duplicating and merging. PROCREATE, PLEASE, THIS IS YOUR ONLY TRUE FLAW. Please add a stroke tool my family is starving.

A theremin that is played by hand without any physical contact and only by creating a magnetic field and changing the volume and frequency of the sound! Theremin was invented in 1919 by Russian physicist Leon Theremin. Today, this unique instrument is very much appreciated by artists. Not only does the theremin sound like nothing, but the way it is played is also unique. In this way, this instrument is played without being touched!
