first of all, sn!naoya is so funny pls. ik he has more scenes later in this series but i forgot most of his dialogues :’D

Uh oh that's never a good thing lol #I do love Fell!Gaster just so pleased to be having a conversation haha so smiley - classic still not smiling but interested!#Cute face <3 #It was after making the Toriel comic that the thought Really occurred to me - like obviously I saw so I knew they were still in the gowns #But it took a bit for that to strike me as odd since I mean that's just what they wear! That's normal! For Handplates anyway #He talks a lot about isolating whatever it is in Monsters that Make Them Like That - what does that entail #Gaster no seriously what are you doing to them don't just smile actually reply #And as much as I like the boys being a bit more Fell-ish I've always been of the opinion that no matter what they're brothers!#They love each other <3 And in Fellplates they'd have to rely on each other even more than regular Underfell #If anything would cause some codependency it's the Handplates setup - no matter what version you throw at it!#They're still both delicate little things - they need each other to survive ♥ If Gaster is sometimes kind to them well...#Similar to Mercyplates but Not Quite hmmmm #At least sometimes doing cute and harmless things tho! Studies how they react to flowers and teaches them to make chains hehe ♪#There's also that Underfell thing of Sans calling UF!Papyrus ''Boss'' rather than ''Bro'' yeah? Doodling ideas around that haha #An opportunity to teach! Sans only came away with the basics tho it probably annoys Gaster lol #The idea of them doing cute harmless little things and /that/ being what gets under his skin hehehehe #And ending with a Babybones! :D Surely he'd have no problem being attached since they're meant to be good...? Surely

I had some old doodles of how this happened that I never got to post, but some better ideas for an updated post-deviancy etho design plagued me and I finally got to make it into another comic :]

It’s worth noting that bdubs isn’t very fond of etho/androids until a while after his deviancy, due to a number of… er. Complications; this is the first of many “… Okay, maybe he ain’t so bad,” moments.

do you have any recs for posts analyzing or fics about jamies cptsd?

cptsd!jamie is kind of something that just lives in my head. ive never seen any other analysis of it (i guess maybe .. i will write it soon ..)

i believe in my heart that any fic written post-amsterdam ep codes jamie as having cptsd just because he doesn't remember that specific piece of trauma, which is. The biggest sign of cptsd

there ARE some pretty good fics that can be read as cptsd fics. these are just from my bookmarks so there's definitely some im missing. also a lot of these are very triggering obviously so be careful! read the tags!

about to burn (and still on fire) - this is literally the only fic in existence that ever explicitly names cptsd as jamie's issue and it's EXCELLENT. easily one of the best jamie trauma exploration fics out there. i really like this characterization of him :)

the same story - OH MAN this changed my life. it's on chapter 9/13 but it's about jamie having a really public, violent confrontation with his dad + having to deal with the consequences of that. it's really, really cptsd-esque. he dissociates a lot and also theres a lot of focus on how jamie uses anger to push people away before they hurt him.. yep

white knights and silver linings - brand new!!! ted and jamie kind of healing together. really explores (in my opinion) how cptsd affects the rest of ur life + can directly cause other issues. it is NOT double-spaced tho.

the entire dessert series - one shots about jamie being helped by the people around him. all of his symptoms in this are cptsd ones

sounding overly valorous (sounds like penance) - jamie + roy working through jamie being triggered by roy yelling at him

the invalidated silent screams of the tormented - not finished

all the tired horses - jamie trying to reconcile the way that ted acts (aka being nice to him) with the way that his former coaches have acted ahh so good

sins of the father - i lovee this one.. jamie's dad blackmails him basically.. yeah

i get by with a little help - i love fics where jamie gets hurt again and this is maybe the best one.. soo sad so awful but it all ends up ok so!

anyways yeah this is just a small portion of fics that COULD be taken as cptsd!jamie because im literally the only person who has ever headcanoned it

#Doodles #UT #Handplates #Sans #Gaster #Having such clear external-view memories of what happened when they were young would probably give Sans a lot of ammunition lol #Not that they'd know any different - their poor memories honestly :( - but having such clear memories in places would have to be weird #Most people have childhood amnesia to an extent! Tho it's hard to say when that would've applied to them anyway with their sped-up growth #Not to mention the trauma #And it's possible that doesn't apply to Monsters to begin with lol - but it's all a moot point anyway since these are their only memories!#It's sad to think of how much of themselves are missing forever since Gaster didn't experience them :(#This is what happens when you get behind on your work >:0 #I really wonder what their lack of memories/restoration of memories would do for their like/dislike of certain things!#Like how Papyrus says that sitting with Sans in his lap makes a lot of sense as to why it was so familiar and comforting #But also that knowing makes it sad as well :( Knowing recolours their understanding and interpretation!#Knowing Why makes things make sense but does it actually Help? It's a tough question - certainly it hurts in the moment #The little things Gaster has infected for them and for himself ♥ Like taking notes! Like chess and sweets and spaghetti and lab coats #And dark sweaters and cigarette smoke and hugs and intelligence - how many pieces of all of them have A Feeling attached #How many more have A Memory - and even more than that A Memory Lost and unrecoverable ughhh ♥#But the little things they can hold on to hehe <3 Like pinging Gaster for what they all know and remember #Why does he even keep coming over if he knows the reception he'll get?
