not over the fact this quote implies that:
1) robutler is at least vaguely aware of the events of the death engine
2) he believes that these events were not only cool, but pivotal to the role of a 'cool agent'
3) he considers phoenix a cool agent not for neutralizing a deadly supervirus, stopping nuclear armageddon, or surviving death twice over, but destroying the same space laser that they nearly died in. or, at the very least, those other achievements pale in comparison to the whole space laser thing
4) he presumably wants to do this himself

Watching Deni$e snipe at Prism- she sniped at Bor'dor but not quite the same. Is so interesting. Im not opposed to characters actively clashing and just not getting along by virtue of who they are, thats just how it is sometimes. But some part of my brain is so sitting here going...... oh but if they do end up liking each other a lot, if they grow WAY close, the pay off is gonna be SO good.

I greatly enjoyed my time with Sonic Prime, but I will admit that the ending confused me
i thought the ending worked fine but it was a bit underwhelming compared to some of the theories i saw. and i also wasnt really expecting for it to be possible to restore green hill without wiping the shatterverse from existence because that just. didnt feel possible based on what we knew about how this stuff supposedly works . What ever its just baby cartoons doesnt matter
and ive also seen people thinking the ending was meant to be a cliffhanger setting up for a potential continuation but i dont think that personally. to me its obviously just meant as Ohh sonics life never slows down so theyre immediately jumping into another adventure The End. or whatever

Uugughgh.
So I bought a new monitor. NGL emulating Aikatsu had something to do with it but also I've been wanting one for a while and saw a $79 flash sale at Walmart. But I'm still using my laptop screen primarily out of habit.
My desktop background is rotating screenshots from a few things, but most of them are from King of Prism SSS episode 8 because I love the aesthetic of that episode specifically. But I usually never actually see my backgrounds since I've always got windows up.
So now I'm working on my blog or whatever and I keep looking up to see stuff like this......
And it's starting to give me some............... EmOTIons...........

The thing about Cora ripping her heart out is that, contrary to the popular opinion, to what she makes it out to be, to what Rumple eventually believes in, it wasn't about her choosing power over love.
It was about her being afraid to trust him because she's being burned too many times by men who claimed to love her only to leave her with nothing and spit in her face... and this time is even more dangerous for her because she feels that she is falling for him, too.
She's not in love with him, not yet, but she might eventually be, hence why she calls Rumple the only man she ever loved later on – because he is the only man she ever felt like she could fall in love with, if she let herself do it.
Ultimately, it all comes down to her needing to make a leap of faith. Her running away with Rumple, accepting the risks and still choosing to believe him, and his love, would be that leap of faith.
And Cora can't do it, because she's afraid of being betrayed again, and afraid of not being in control of her life again ( most part of her life has been out of her control, she can't go back, just can't ).
So she chooses to stay with Henry instead of running away with Rumple because that way she is in control, of her own fate and Henry's and her possible future children, in a way she doesn't believe she can be with Rumple, especially considering her own feelings, and so she is safe.
And she rips her heart out to avoid such dilemmas, such problems in the future because having heart is weakness, having feelings is weakness, love is weakness.
TL;DR: Cora ripping her heart out and leaving Rumple wasn't about choosing power over love, it was about her trust issues, and fear of being rejected and abandoned and having her heart broken... it was about self-preservation, protecting her heart and her life.
And she regretted that decision for a long time afterwards, possibly for the rest of her life ( but that's a meta for another post ).

Points at you. 10 and/or 11 for starstruck?
Two starstruck asks,,,,,,joy of joys,,
Part of an ask game linked here.
#10. What's an au you have for them?
Since them meeting at all is technically an AU i have 3 different ways that they do meet up. There's the one where Juniper ends up with the agency/adjacent to and ends up working with Reggie (have written a fic with this). The next one is Juniper surviving but basically going stealth and living as normal of a life as he can and ending up meeting Reggie through chance (most recent fic I've written). And then there's my personal favourite where Reginald "You're lucky my tracking skills are still up to snuff" Crane keeping himself busy after Phoenix was MIA and finding Juniper still alive (fic I want to write but haven't started mainly because it may end up multi chapter).
In terms of more AU canon bending taking them and putting them in a completely unrelated situation...I have a guilty pleasure Warrior Cats AU for IEYTD in general. Both JJ and Reggie have perfect warrior cats suffixes in their names already (Juniper and Crane) so they're called Junipersong (charcoal bengal) and Craneflight (tabby Norwegian forest cat). It's very silly but the amount of scenes I have in my mind for it...good lord...
#11. How was their first kiss like?
Augh my friend Imp wrote an absolutely excellent fic about it (tragically in the realm of unfinished Google docs) and I'm shaking their hand about it so hard. Basically Juniper kissing Reggie but he like wasn't ready/fully expecting it and Juniper absolutely panicking because he thinks he's misread every interaction between them both since they got closer. The second one is much sweeter though,,
