Attention all operators: in an effort to showcase all staff functions on Rhodes Island, the HR office has generously shared the process by which operator code names are accepted based on three major guidelines:

1. A code name is not duplicative of a code name already issued

2. A code name is not a vulgarity or profanity including a swear or curse word, or scatological term, not usually displayed in the community for general viewing.

3. A codename is not obscene or otherwise contains material of sexual suggestiveness in that it refers explicitly or by euphemism to a sexual body part, a sex act, or the availability for sex

Inspired by @ca-dmv-bot, y’all liked that post enough for me to make a whole blog for it!

(I’m not actually a bot though I’m a real human person.)

You can submit canonical or fanmade operator names- If it’s a fanmade name, hit us with some background! If your operator is a canon character, you can either submit the name by itself or you can write the reasoning in character too. Our lovely HR representative will fill in the rest.

Ground rules:

No real-life slurs (unless you’re like, one of two operators who exist in this game) (in which case, you know who you are and localization should change your name)

Maximum of five different operators per ask

Since these are forms the characters are filling out, soft character limit of ~50 for each explanation. I’ll hold myself to this as well.

If you do not want to be used in a fic, drawn, etc. add an “X” at the end of the ask. I will also tag it accordingly.

Might add more as we go along- I’ve never run an in-character blog before so we’ll see how this goes.

When you say current theme does that mean it changes each time? How often if you do? How many exchanges do you usually host?

well this blog is very recent so so far we’ve only done two events! a valentine’s exchange (dec - february) and this pride month exchange (april to june)!! i’m unsure how many exchanges we’ll do a year or if the themes will be the same, but as long as i enjoy running these events, i’ll keep running them :) i’m not sure what the next event theme will be (maybe just a general gift exchange with no theme? feel free to leave suggestions !) but they will be happening fairly often :) i can confidently say (at this rate) there’ll be like. 3 a year at least :)

Hey. To answer your question…yeah, if MC is with Nari, f!Andy, and Gracie…

Probably not to the point of being called names in MC’s face or getting physically violent about it, but homophobia will be expressed by fans and the media if MC gets outed (or goes public with the news). As for the extent, it’ll go as far as questions and reactions on the internet.

What is Jon/Elias week?

It’s a week long prompt event. Each day there will be two different prompts you can choose from. You can create art, fic, playlists, moodboards, or any other content you'd like. You can participate in all the days or just one.

How do the prompts work?

One prompt is a vague concept you can use for inspiration, the other is an Alternate Universe. You can use both or either or.

How do I participate in Jon/Elias week?

1) Tagging- You will need to tag your work as #joneliasweek2023 or #joneliasweek On Tumblr for us to reblog them 2) submitting- you can send submissions to our tumblr page! https://joneliasweek.tumblr.com/submit 3) A03- Submit them to our A03 collection

Is NSFW allowed?

Yes, we’re allowing NSFW. All we ask as mods is for writers and artist to properly tag their works. We will reblog the works and they will be properly tagged. For any minors who feel uncomfortable you will be able to filter the NSFW tag.

Do I have to do the whole week?

No, you are free to skip days and post late! Just tag the works and follow the prompts and we’ll reblog it.

What if I post after the week is done?

You can post late, we’ll continue to reblog the works after the week has ended just make sure to follow the prompts.

What if I’m a minor or don’t feel comfortable with NSFW material?

We will properly tag all the NSFW material that's submitted so minors will be able to filter works with that tag.

Do I have to follow the prompt?

Any content made for Jonelias Week is welcome. We are all here to celebrate this ship together, the prompts are just there for inspiration!

Hi there! I've been trying to look at your SOMA preview page so I can get a better visual understanding of the code, but it seems there are no posts populating the page. :(

I do understand, however, that it was both in beta and you called it "⚠️ EXPERIMENTAL ⚠️ JANKY AS HELL!" ...And I see that your most recent post at the time of this ask was tagged with #life has me busy, so please don't feel any rush to answer this.

FAQ – 👻KisaWeen 2024👻

What is KisaWeen? KisaWeen is a Halloween themed event that's centered around Kisame :) Just like how Kisame Week is, we post prompts, and you create something based off that prompt. That could be absolutely anything you can think of. Maybe a gif set, a headcanon list, a one-shot, a multi-chap, a drawing, really the sky's the limit.

How do I participate? Check out this guide for how to participate.

Do we accept submissions which use AI? We here at Kisame's Corner do not tolerate AI art/fic of any kind. Basically, if you use an AI bot to create your art and/or your fic this is not elidable to be submitted. Using AI for ideas is okay, however your creations must be your own. Reposts are okay so long as you have the explicit permission of the original poster. Since it is nearly impossible to get explicit permission from the original artists whose art is fed into AI bots, and original fic writers who've had their stories scraped, we have decided that all AI work is prohibited. We repeat, all creations must be your own or you must have explicit permission to post them.

Is there a limit to how many prompts I can do? Nope! You can do all or just one, two in one day, whichever! If you want to combine prompts be our guest! The only rule is that if you combine prompts, they have to be for the same day. We want to make sure the specified content gets the spotlight. Doing a multi-chap or something like it for the whole week as one cohesive story is okay too!

How many prompts will there be? 6 this time! We will be hosting three per day for the last weekend of October. Since we started so late 😅

How should I interpret the prompts? Any way you'd like! The prompts are to spark inspiration, so go wild! Just make sure that Kisame is at the center of them!

Are prompts going to be ship based? They are not going to be ship based. It's more along the lines of an idea like a word or a phrase or a scenario, and you create content based on that. If you want to write a non-romantic Kisame-centric piece, that is totally welcome!

What pairings are welcome? All ships including Kisame are welcome! As long as the characters in question are of age, everything is accepted as a ship. This includes non ships, × Reader, × OC ships, and childhood aus as well. If you want to keep it platonic, that's okay too! Just remember that if someone doesn't share the same idea as you, it's okay to take a breath and move on.

Is there a word limit for fics? Not at all!! Write as little or as much as you'd like for any of the prompts!

How dark can the content be? As long as everything is tagged correctly and the rating is appropriate, as dark as you want. We don't want to put very much limitation as to how much freedom creators can have. Whatever you feel comfortable making is fine for us:)

Can I submit art and fic? Of course you can! You can do the same prompt with art and fic, you can do one prompt with art and the other with fic, or you can do either or and switch off. There are no limitations for how much you'd like to contribute.

I didn't get to vote for the prompts. What happened? KisaWeen gets its prompts usually from the server members at Kisame's Corner. However, this year, we took a vote from the prompts that weren't picked in 2020 and 2021 when we first did KisaWeen. Long story short, prompts were picked by sharkfam in the 'cord (is that real slang or am i making that up)

Are you accepting late entries? Yes we are up until the end of the rest of November! Feel free to post your stuff by then :) (but also if you take longer we don't mind )
