Unity in Diversity Gala Christmas and New Year Celebration at Quannta School of Software Engineering

On the 30th of December 20222 the budding Engineers and the Sculptures of Quannta School of Software Engineering gathered in the AmbyTheateraround 3.00 Pmto celebrate Christmas and New Year’s eve with the motto of making the evening a Gala and Memorable one.The management of Quannta School of Software Engineeringis a part of E.S Educational Group,which is one of the premier Technological Institute serving the Villupuram District over 50+years had organized the unified celebration under the theme Unity in Diversity Gala Christmas and New Year Celebration. 

The evening started with the enlightened welcome address by Dr K. Indira., Principal of Quannta School of Software Engineering welcomed the gathering and delivered a new year message and wishes. The highlight of the event is the inspirational and motivational speech by the guest of honors Mr P. Kuppusamy. Administrative Officer-Quannta School of Software Engineering spoke about the importance of celebrating festivals together as a tool for Unity in Diversity and the importance of team building.

The Gala started with the event of “Just a Minute”, in which the students from the department of Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science Engineering and teaching and non-teaching faculties of Quannta School of Software Engineering participated. The event wasbrainstorming and brought out the hidden talents and humor inside them. Everyone felt the JAM event is a self-exploration tool. A Musical Chair event is hosted for the staff and students towards making themfeel relaxed after a brainstorming JAM event.

After the young minds and their masters were tired physically, Faculty of Innovation Ms Karthika performed Classical numbers to lighten up the tiresome gathering. The winners of various events were awarded goodies. The event and the year ended with Cutting of Cake with the hope of goodwill in the upcoming year.A lot of Positive Vibe is carried into the fresh year to come.

Not in a sexual way neither in a,"I need a warm body" but in a simple way like I want high five someone with my wet hands and share my food with you today.

To be honest, I had almost forgotten you were an important chapter in my life. Almost. But I guess almost isnt good enough.

Your memory got triggered in possibly the most disturbing of all the ways possible.

My sister was playing with my hair and my brain faintly remembered that someone in my life used to do that to me. And then, it all came back flooding in. All of it. All the memories, the times and moments we spent together. All the meals we shared, the naps we took, the movies we watched, the number of times we held our hands, the number of times we cooked,well I did, you just stood there, the number of walks we took, the talks and........

How YOU use to play with my hair. How you used to scuffle up my neat hair because messy hair would suit me more and it somehow reminded you of samoyed, my favorite breed of dogs. I used to like that. Still do. Felt nice, like I am cared for and someone(other than my family) is actually afraid of losing me from their life.

Don't get my wrong, I still dont want you back but I miss having someone to snuggle with and have my hair played with. I....dont know. Maybe I miss you.

Wait, no, I miss the idea of you.

Yes, that's it. That is the correct way to label this feeling. I miss the person in my memories, not you. Not the person you are now.

Well to be fair, you were always toxic, I was just naive and dumb and too much in love to see it. My feelings for you clouded my vision and my intuition and being the naive kid I was, I ignored all the major huge red flags.

So yeah, I miss the memory of you and the memory of you playing with my hair while I slept in your lap or rested my head. Not you.
