Bi Han loathed you, like your brother, as soon as he saw you. It was more of a wrong place at the wrong time—you visited just as Johnny (and Kenshi) were being confronted by Liu Kang and the Lin Kuei, and to add to his increasingly sour mood, you gasped a little too dramatically. However, his intrigue in you started when you started to challenge him yourself and wouldn’t back down. You’re quite lucky to have had Liu Kang and Kuai Liang there, because he was the type back then to do it and not think twice.

Bi Han is not as secretive and mysterious as he thinks he is around you. If you go to the Wu Shi with Johnny, sometimes you’d see him around there or the Fire Temple. Why? He thinks because if you don’t know, nobody does… Johnny stares at Bi Han back from any distance. Liu Kang can’t help but smile to himself when he sees Bi Han watches you train with others (under the guise of watching everyone). Bi Han’s cover is accidentally blown by Liu Kang, who like Kenshi, heard a little too much.

If you decide not to go with Johnny, it really doesn’t matter to Bi Han anyway. Once Bi Han is told that you visit the Wu Shi sometimes, he starts showing up, but a little later than that to avoid suspicion. Johnny notices right away and quite literally complains to anyone who would listen… Including you. That’s how Bi Han’s cover is blown. Kung Lao first met you at the Wu Shi. You were visiting for the day from the city, and passed him when you were looking for your brother Johnny. He thought how awfully similar you looked to Johnny, but knowing Kung Lao, by time he gave it any thought at all he’d seen you around Johnny. You two, along with Kenshi and Raiden, were introduced formally.

The more you kept visiting, the more Kung Lao saw you more than just ‘Johnny’s Sister’. He really found you funny (if not funnier than Johnny himself), and he loved the way you fearlessly challenged your brother, even if you’d lose. There’s a running joke between the four of them that Kung Lao is going to train Johnny’s sister in more than just fighting, but most of them brush it off as a joke. To Kung Lao, it’s rooted in truth.

And because I feel like it’s not talked about enough, Kung Lao doesn’t mind the little press you receive here and there because of who you are. As the sister of a once-famous actor, the nosiness of paparazzi and the public into Johnny’s life was also somewhat commonplace. You don’t receive it anymore, assuming you’re not famous yourself, but to Kung Lao it doesn’t matter. Whenever he gets bored or curious, he looks your name up when he has the time.

Kung Lao doesn’t see it as a competition, but he does start bragging… And a lot. But because you’ve seen a lot of nice things in your life and much more impressive things than a simple farmer because of Johnny, he only tries harder to impress you. It becomes even more difficult when Johnny sees right through him and begins to cockblock his attempts to woo you. It’s rare that he ever fails, but sometimes Kung Lao tries so hard that he fails. “And we have that milestone check today, too? Why didn’t you say something earlier? I thought we were friends,” Kung Lao couldn’t believe Raiden, but he shook his head. “Doesn’t matter. I hope I get Johnny, ‘cause there’s finally going to be something to laugh about when I finally get him.”

Raiden gave him a look.

It wasn’t too soon after that Kung Lao started to shuffle in place impatiently as he waited to see Johnny come around the corner—a smile rose on his lips when he finally saw him, and then you in tow. He loved to watch you skip up to give him a firm hug; he absolutely craved this.

“Good luck! Johnny keeps putting his legs on me, so beat him up for me, ‘kay?” you nod in encouragement, bright eyes looking up at him in enthusiasm.

Notes:

Zane was forced into hiding because of the exile ban, he desperately needs help and is trying to figure out where Akita and Kataru are in hopes they will be up to help. 

Nya meets a young Sora in the sewers after running from home, they spend their time running away from Imperium guards and Zeatrix. All while Sora keeps insisting they have to go back and figure out a way to free this one dragon. And why does this dragon with a red gem on the head emits such a… familiar aura? 

Kai finds himself in a desolate, hot place, he doesn't know where he is but he knows there's a lot of… Weird creatures lurking around, like these big bipedal animals. Jay finds himself in a waiting room… It looks like an office. Is a weird place but the technology is amazing, he's sure he can figure out how to go home given enough time. So he takes a “job” at the place called administration, all is good, except for the paperwork but he can manage… Until his mind starts to go fuzzy and make leaps… what's the point of all this? What was he doing at this place? Was he supposed to be focusing on other stuff?... If he couldn't remember then it probably wasn't important, time to go back to work.... and train the Newbie.

Cole’s scar is starting to affect him making him “glitch” into ghost mode the more he spends on the departed realm, he's genuinely scared he will become a ghost again and will be forgotten… again. He desperately wants to go home.

Lloyd has never really been in the first realm, because of his weird traits he finds himself captured by the Dragon Hunters where he meets with Faith and the other hunters… And their most recent protegee Arin.

(Angsty-ish) Cole headcanons cuz he’s my favorite

1. When he’s overwhelmed/freaking out to the point his hands shake, the ground around him starts to shake as well without him realizing. The fastest way to stop this is if he or someone else holds his hands still.

2. He’s been trained in several “official” forms of dance (contemporary, ballet, waltz, etc.)

3. He developed a general fear of heights after The Fall, and it’s impacted him enough that things he used to enjoy, such as rock climbing, are now anxiety inducing. Because of his job as a ninja, he had to essentially Suck It Up™️, but that didn’t stop it from hindering both himself and the others/mission.

4. ^ because of this, when his thoughts/troubles got to much for him, instead of climbing mountains, he turned to food as a form of comfort. His friends/Wu do eventually help him through his fear of heights so it doesn’t affect him as much, but the fear never truly 100% goes away.

5. Post ghost form he had a habit of walking face first into walls/people. Even now when he’s tired he’ll still sometimes do it.

6. I think it’s safe to assume Cole in canon has at least some self confidence issues at this point. When the self doubt gets really bad, his powers will reflect the worst case scenario he’s envisioned (ex: he assumes his power won’t be enough for something and when he goes in for the earth punch, its like getting hit w a pillow)

7. Will fight a child for the last slice of cake at a birthday party (the ninja were invited as a surprise for the birthday boy. The child cole fought was, in fact, said birthday boy)

8. Cole’s habit of talking to himself grows to the point that he essentially rubber duckies himself when problem solving anything. He will do this in front of the other ninja and will just straight up not hear them when they try to help him with the issue. But also they have watched this mam have a full on back and forth conversation about a show he didn’t like before.

9. While caring for baby Wu, he gained the habit of going to check on him when he had trouble sleeping at night, tucking him in and sitting with him for a bit. After Wu returns to his actual age the habit never really goes away, but Cole is embarrassed about it so he tries to be extra super ninja sneaky when he pulls the covers up over Wu’s shoulders after his blanket had fallen a bit. Wu knows he does this but pretends to be asleep, after all why stop a kind gesture if it brings comfort to both involved.

10. Because of his lava arms, Cole (and Lloyd) are the only ones that don’t get easily burned by Kai’s fire. They’re usually the ones in charge of holding him back/cooling him down if physical touch is needed.

Since there are toys of the ninja, Jay goes out of his way to purchase all the misprint/goofy looking dolls of them all and proudly displays his growing collection much to everyone’s annoyance (especially Kai. They NEVER get his face right)

Young Wu and Garmadon are training as usual, only Garmadon is strange this time. Wu finds out that he has a fever and he takes care if him.

"Let's go one more time," Wu said as he and Garmadon trained in the monastery.

"We can like this forever," Garmadon said gloomily.

Wu decided to ignore that comment, it wasn't the first one today.

"Then let's go," Wu said and started towards Garmadon.

He struck him once with the katana and Garmadon blocked the blow.

Garmadon tried to land a blow below the belt on Wu, but Wu defended it and surprisingly managed to strike Garmadon easily.

"Sorry," Wu said to him when Garmadon finally stood up. "I didn't expect such an easy resistance..."

"You'll see what easy resistance looks like!" Garmadon shouted and hit Wu with his powers.

"How are you feeling today?" Wu shouted at Garmadon when he managed to stand up."What's wrong?:

"Nothing, what would it be," Garmadon shrugged.

He was somehow rumpled, but without a drop of sweat.

"Are you cold?" Wu asked him.

"Just because you are a weak opponent,so I can't warm up." Garmadon said strangely again.

"Get up, let's continue."

"Stop, brother," Wu said and approached Garmadon as close as he could, "You are so strange."

"If anyone is strange, it's you." Garmadon said and raised his katana. "What are you waiting for? Let's continue."

"Just let me..." Wu started and tried to touch Garmadon's forehead, to which Garmadon aggressively moved his hand to the side.

"What are you doing?"

"Just trying to see if you have a fever," Wu said calmly.

"You have no business checking my temperature," Garmadon frowned. "You're not my mom,"

"But I'm your brother," Wu responded, getting a little annoyed.

"And a younger one," Garmadon reminded him.

"Anyway, I care for you!" Wu almost yelled.

Garmadon could really drive him crazy sometimes.

"Don't worry," Garmadon waved him off. "I grew up. Let's go continue."

"Just let me..." Wu said again and tried to touch Garmadon's forehead, to which Garmadon again tried to move his hand away.

Wu didn't give up, so the whole thing turned into a brawl.

"Stop messing around!" Garmadon yelled at him.

"Just give me..." Wu struggled until he finally managed to put his hand on Garmadon's forehead. He was weak today.

Since he didn't believe his hands, he put his lips on Garmadon's forehead, which Garmadon didn't like, so Wu flew two meters away in no time.

He hit him weaker than usual, but still hard enough for Wu to feel like all his bones had cracked.

"You're burning up," Wu said when he managed to stand up.

He looked towards Garmadon who was painfully bending and breathing.

"It's best for you to go to bed," Wu suggested.

Garmadon complied without resistance, which worried Wu the most.

He reached him and gave him a hand to help him enter the monastery.

"Just lie down," Wu said when they reached his room.

"I know I need to rest!" Garmadon replied gloomily and crawled into bed.

"I'll bring you some tea," Wu said and left his brother's room to go to the kitchen.

By then, Garmadon was lying in bed, struggling not to fall asleep.

He knew the tea would help him recover.

"Here's some tea for my poor sick brother," Wu said as he entered the room.

"Shut up," Garmadon told him but smiled a little. He was glad Wu was there.

"Just for a moment," Garmadon said and sat up.

"Are you feeling better?" Wu asked after he took a few sips.

"Actually, I am," Garmadon noticed. "Thank you. And sorry for not being the best company today."

"No worries, I understand," Wu reassured him. "At least you're calm now."

"Haha, how funny," Garmadon chuckled sarcastically. He couldn't help but smile a little, feeling better.

"Are you sleepy?" Wu asked.

i made them both seniors @ the school! they dont actually know each other initially for most of highschool bc of different vibes/interests but in senior year they finally start talking. morro is wu's oldest student, but he doesnt care for the ninja because he was the original green ninja and the position got taken from him bc he wasnt responsible enough, and then given to lloyd. so hes a little bitter & doesnt like lloyd very much, but he spends all his free time training to become strong enough to take the green ninja hood back.

echo is actually zanes OLDER brother. they are so similar looking theyre usually asked if theyre twins, which, well, yk, but they just say zane is the younger brother because he was created after. echo was juliens first tryst into making a humanoid robot, so while he is very advanced, hes a bit outdated in comparison to the model made after, which is zane. echos had more time to acclimate to acting human than zane has, but hes kind of in his edgy phase right now because hes jealous of his younger sibling getting all the attention of their father.

hey yall rember that one time when i asked if anyone would read a morro lore post???? yeahhhhh uh here's part one (:

OKAY SO long fucking post ahead. really long

morro had originally been a kid on the streets, yeah?? regardless of what happened to his parents [i'd argue that the previous em of wind was his father, who left morro and his mom alone. his mom probably struggled w/ the living situation and eventually abandoned him]

so there's little six year old morro, wandering outside to look for his mama he won't find her. she's gone. and eventually passing out in an alley.

he gets taken in by a couple of older boys [the two kids we see in his backstory episode], who teach him how to survive- things like pickpocketing, stealing, good hiding spots, etc

when they try raiding the monastery, and wu comes out, the two kids run and leave morro behind [but it was for a good reason, right? they'd never leave him, not like she did]. wu notices, offers the kid some food- by now morro'd be about eight- and lets him eat, and as soon as he's done morro runs. this happens a few times, until wu eventually offers morro a place to stay. wary, morro refuses at first- but after being beaten and having the bread he found stolen from him, he makes his way to the monastery and waits. wu realizes he's out there, and lets him in, offering him good and clean clothes.

morro trains at first just to protect himself from others, and partially because it's fun. wu teaches him how to reading write, and morro begins to look up to wu, almost like a father. when morro's about ten, he realizes the wind will sometimes listen to him [this is about when the kite thing happens]. wu, knowing what an elemental master is, starts to teach morro how to control his powers.

[aaaaand now we get to ANGST and totally not me projecting a little bit.]

so morro's been with wu for about ✨️three years✨️, and he's getting good at his lessons. like- really good. at just about anything. so wu thinks to himself, maybe morro is the green ninja. and eventually, two months after that first thought, he tells morro. and morro gets so excited, because he has a destiny. this must be why wu took him in, right? because he's important, because he's meant to be a hero. and that thought fuels him- maybe a little too much. he gets rougher, putting everything he has into training. and when he's not training, he's doing his lessons, long hours into the night spent reading scrolls, doing everything he's been assigned that day.

so, he starts to work himself half to death. ignoring meals, training during his free time, getting too rough with his classmates. [because he's the green ninja, right? he has to be the best, because if he isn’t good enough, then what is he?] wu gets worried. asks him to slow down, take breaks, focus on his health. morro ignores him. so wu decides to get the golden weapons and do the test.... and nothing happens. morro is confused, for a moment, but ge sees the shock and disappointment on wu's face, and he knows. so, to hide his fear, he gets angry. yells at wu, and leaves. he tries so hard, getting almost obsessed with destiny.

and when he still hasn't 'proved himself', he runs. scared that wu will kick him out for failing, afraid of being abandoned again, morro decides to take the first step, and leaves. [he's about fourteen, when he leaves the monastery. he doesn't close the doors, afraid that they'll be too loud.]

Overwhelmed(Vinny x Garmadon Part 9)

(So i was supposed to work on this earlier but was out for awhile and I don’t think I can upload a new part for my other story but I made time for this story as it is my main)(check out part 1-8 if you havent before reading this)

Garmadon went over to the library where his brother was. “Good you came, i wanted to ask a few more questions regarding you and Vinny”Wu said as he saw his brother walk in. When Garmadon heard this he blushed, “What do you mean..?”He asked trying to knock off the question. “You and Vinny have an interesting relationship and you act somewhat of how you acted around Misako”Wu replied smirking slightly. Garmadon stared at Wu, he hated these questions. The ice ninja and water ninja probably know the most. “I know what you’re suggesting brother and I assure you that there is nothing going on between the two of us”Garmadon replied acting oblivious to the question. We let out a sigh, “I am just saying if you feel like you can trust him and feel differently about him maybe try”Wu said, he really was oblivious the two were together the water ninja knew and she was correct about Wu catching on. “Is that all you called me here for” Garmadon asked. Wu shook his head and pulled out some scrolls. The two began talking.

With Vinny and Nya, after Garmadon left Vinny changed and went to find Nya. The two began talking and eventually Nya started asking questions. “Soooo…how long you two been together?”She asked this sudden question made Vinny blush, “L-like two days..”He replied embarrassingly. This answer surprised Nya, “Only 2 days?and you two are already all on each other”she laughed out. “How long have you liked him?”She asked, “W-well I think I started to notice it around 7months ago though I think a little before that”He replied, “How’d you confess?”Nya asked again. “Ehhh..he confessed though I’d rather not talk about that”Vinny replied which Nya nodded too not wanting to overwhelm him with uncomfortable questions. Nya wrapped an arm around Vinnys’ shoulder, “I’ll help you through this entire relationship”She said comfortingly. “I honestly never thought someone could be so accepting of someone being with Garmadon”Vinny chuckled out. Nya stared at him, “Well I think it’s nice you gave him another chance and I can tell he likes you a lot especially with how much he listened to you yesterday when he was training Lloyd”She replied happily. The two began talking for awhile as Garmadon was still busy with Wu and everyone else were doing something else.

A while later Garmadon found Vinny still hanging out with Nya. “Hey Garm!”Vinny said out happily making Garmadon blush. He didn’t respond but instead sat next to Vinny and pulled him onto his lap. At that point he didn’t care Nya already knew about this and she said she wasn’t going to tell anyone. “You two are honestly adorable”She said as she stared at Vinny who was blushing not expecting this to happen. “G-Garm is something wrong?”Vinny asked curiously. He didn’t respond but turned Vinnys’ head to face him before giving him a kiss making him blush even more. “G-Garm not with her watching..”Vinny mumbled out embarrassingly. “Aww no it’s fine this is adorable”She said before looking at her phone which just got a message. “The others are coming back you two might wanna stop being so touchy with each other especially if you wanna keep your cute relationship a secret”She added which made Vinny try moving out of Garmadons’ only to be kept down. “Garm…”Vinny said as Garmadon nuzzled his neck gently not enough to tickle him. Eventually soft purrs could be heard coming out of Garmadons’ mouth. “You never told me he could purr”Nya said she was honestly amazed at how calm Garmadon was, “I-I never knew he could…”Vinny said out embarrassingly his face was a bright red. Vinny eventually managed to squeeze out of Garmadons’ grasp earring complaints from Garmadon but stopped when the ninja finally came back.

“Wow sis never knew you would hang out with Vinny and Garmadon”Kai said out curiously “Who else was I meant to hang out with all of you were out”She replied "and honestly they’re both fun to hang out with especially once you get to know them” she added. “Whatever you say”Lloyd said out curiously before going to his room with Jay to read the new Starfarer comic. They all began talking about their days. And Cole brought up how close Vinny and Garmadon were which Nya said was just because Vinny gave Garmadon another chance after everything he’s done. Thankfully everyone believed it and the two felt relieved knowing someone could lie to the ninja for them

Raiden isn’t opposed to your personal choice of style. It compliments his youthful self/personality. But it wasn’t really what drew him towards you

For a few outings, you teach Raiden how to skate. He’s clumsy at first, earning a few scrapes and bruises, but you being there to help him makes them painless and it’s a lot less humiliating when you’re not judging or teasing him (at least not as often as Kung Lao).

Why you carry a baseball bat, Raiden found out. He’d catch you in the act. If it’s before the Madam Bo and Lin Kuei scene, he would be shocked, but if it’s after the fact, he would find it brutal but wouldn’t bother you about it. A baseball bat is a mouse in comparison to the amulet he has.

Raiden winces as you the weapon connects with the abdomen of the attempted attacker. He goes down onto his knees, and you help him to the floor with a shove of your foot.

He prefers using his hands to engage in kombat, but he had not much choice but to stand back even though he was the one to have run up after he saw you being manhandled.

As soon as you got to swinging, he’d finally understood why you brandish that thing so much.

“He’s not going to bother me anymore. Let’s go,” you deduced, swinging it until it rests upon your shoulder again. “It’s late and I was already coming over for cuddles… Need them.”

Raiden obliges to walk you back the rest of the way, but not without a glance at the reeling crook.

It’s what drew Kung Lao to you at first. Your style was just a bonus. When you fight with a bat, he can’t seem to care how you carry yourself as a punk. With his prowess as a fighter who mainly uses his fists and a bladed hat for support, he likes someone who enjoys using blunt force as well.

If you let Kung Lao, he’ll teach you how to fight with your fists as well. Just so you both can be matching, in a way. Sparring also helps show off, and if it impresses you at all he’d give you that one cheeky smile that shows off his dimple; he’s the most empowered when you praise him. It’s a shame he’s already mastered skating (if you ever taught him), he loved the constant praise you gave him.

On days where you’d both be rotting inside, Kung Lao likes those languid moments when you both are laid up together and listening to your music. His taste in music is nothing like yours really, but he doesn’t mind it. As long as he could enjoy these lazy moments. You’re his type, if not one of them.

Johnny Cage already knew because he was almost on the receiving end of it. When you both first met he was mouthy with you, and whether or not you had the patience for the man didn’t matter. It’d almost ended in you pummeling him… To which he thought would be a perfect way to get closer to you. You awakened something in him.

Johnny Cage records you, whether or not you’re simply skating or beating the ever-loving crap out of someone. There’s not much to it other than “it’s hot” when you ask him. You have to beg him to not share you literally committing assault/acting out of self defense (not that he would).

Various attempts from Johnny Cage to mimic your style, even if Johnny Cage was bad at it. It got you laughing, at least. He’d gift you a new skateboard, and an expensive brand of it too. If it’s one you’ve always wanted, he gets extremely cocky when he sees you love it lots. Also buys you vinyl of your favorite bands.

You paused your marveling to look at him in sheer stupor. He leaned towards you, lips puckered and eyes closed, waiting.

Kenshi isn’t as moved as his peer, unfortunately. He sees (and has saw) people harnessing bats all the time. Your personal style, however, is newer to him. He overlooks it and doesn’t too much care as you both get along too well. Nothing would really be out of the ordinary or have changed because of your style, but he’d make subtle to small gestures to accommodate it.

(i.e; he would gift you certain things that go in tandem with how you dress/what you like/your style)

Like Kung Lao, Kenshi enjoys the paced times between you two. Whether it be pre-incident or post-incident it doesn’t really matter. The only thing different is that regardless of weather, he would settle down with you if you wanted to. If you wanted to go out, at least one or both of you have to be carrying [a weapon].

The park is Kenshi’s favorite spot now that he’s met you. You get to skate, he gets to watch/feel you, it’s a win-win. He carries your bat for you. If you leave it at home on purpose, he takes his sword with him. If you have music playing out loud, he manages it while you skate up and down the rink. Kenshi has a lot of fun with you (because no stranger really tries anything with the both of you).

The golden hue of the setting sun washed you and Kenshi in it. It were silent, for the most part between the two of you, as you skated by his side. Despite that though, your hands were locked together.

“Baby?”

“Mm?”

“…You think it’s too late to grab a bite to eat at that one restaurant?” you asked as his head turned towards you, your foot touching the pavement to push off of it gently enough that keeps yourself level with him. “The one that serves that combo meal you got me one time.”

“I’m sorry. It’s probably not,” he answered, frowning at the image of you disappointed. “But we can still make it at home, alright? Come on.”

Well now I just gotta replace it I guess.

- Okay so the rest of the episode passes with them having no success. But that night they’re woken up by a crash coming from their training room, and all of them go to investigate to see — Lloyd.

- What is happening is that Lloyd is dressed in Kai’s ninja outfit. He has dressed one of the training dummies up with Cole’s, who seems to be playing the part of the villain. Jay is a sack of flour in the back, who periodically cries for Lloyd to save him. Zane is a mop and also seems to be playing the part of Master Wu or something.

- As they watch in disbelief, Lloyd keeps running back and forth between the Villain, who’s head he moved up and down to mimic a speaking motion while he Evilly Monologues, and a fighting stance directly in front of the training dummy. He does this a few times, clearly wearing himself out just from that, while also doing this Voice Throwing Trick to give the Damsel and the Mentor some character, too. He stammers and backpedals and actually takes out index cards at one point, because apparently he’d been planning some sort of Cool Villain Monologue.

- When he finally fights the Villain, he’s so worn out by his constant running around that the training dummy wins. It knocks him flat on his back. This is what finally breaks Kai’s composure, who gives away the ninjas’ position by cackling like mad.

- Lloyd shrieks and runs out of the room before they can say anything.

(Bonus: the A Plot of this episode is Kai struggling with self-worth issues concerning a fear over him not actually being the Green Ninja, because. If he’s not the best, is it even worth BEING one of the Ninjas?) (Well Lloyd clearly thinks he’s cool.)

2. elemental powers and stuff. lets get interesting

MY HC is that all the elements come from the original powers of creation. so the fsm created the original 4 elementals as like protectors of ninjago . and over time as the powers got passed down they mutated or diluted so u get stuff like smoke coming from fire and mind coming from ice (the future vision part). and as of seabound ig water and wind are completely separate but obviously at some point got similarly diluted so long ago even wu didnt realise they were smth separate

essentially this means that while each element still has connections to its dragon roots (see s4 elemental dragons) only the 4 creation elements can use dragon form.

the elements themselves manifest as dragons similarly to the end of s15 (think kai saying “is that… us?”) and the elements kind of …. ARE an elementals whole being.. almost like their soul. the dragons they can summon are a reflection of this (think like.. the titanium dragon for zane)

my approach to stuff in ninjago that is inconsistent or just silly is either to ignore it or warp it into smth that… kind of makes sense. so here my explanation for the powers inconsistencies in the first few seasons lol

the ninja needed the golden weapons to use their powers in the first few seasons despite it later being revealed they were inherent to them simply bc they were too young. powers usually start to manifest around 18 and without training they might not develop past like. accidentally giving ppl static shocks or smth. and this is bc of the dilution of powers over time and the general … lack of need for them in the modern day. but any power can still become massively powerful if trained! lloyd is a special case in that hes able to access his powers from very young due to being. directly descended from the fsm. and similarly the ninja can all use theirs fairly young as the creation elements… nya is able to access her powers at a younger age due to her … different lineage haha

the reason the ninja cant use their powers proper until lloyd donates their golden power is bc as lloyds protectors their power channels into lloyd. in a normal scenario they would have the golden weapons to channel their own powers similarly to how thors hammer worked in ragnarok. and they would also be older and more able to access their powers. but fate works in strange ways lol

i realise im kinda contrarian abt this lol but the ninja r like canonically resistant to their own element so i think they would not have scara from their own element. so like kai burning himself and stuff haha. its a really cool design trope tho .. but in my mind they wld be more likely to have scars from each other. so jay having burn scars and stuff! similarly kai would feel warm to everyone else due to his internal heat but would feel the cold so bad. kai is out there in like 20C/70F weather shivering teeth chattering. and the opposite is true for zane but he has cooling fans so its not as bad haha

umm… one last thing vaguely related to elements i was thinking abt yesterday. the human form taken by the fsm and like. all the elementals and whatever. its not their real form. the fsm is really more of a divine mix of oni and dragon but his power is like that thing where normal ppl kinda… cant comprehend it. so he takes a simpler form when travelling to ninjago and uses this as the basis for the people he created to populate the world. Yes sorry for putting religion in ninjago. the writers did it first

but it is technically still possible for wu garm and lloyd to access these forms. after his bite garmadon slowly starts to show physical traits of the oni.. and lloyd becomes a version of this original form when using their golden powers. both wu and garm technically have access to it as well but dont rlly ever… it doesnt rlly have a practical purpose other than flight lolol and i think wu is both too humble and too afraid to ever rlly tap into his oni side proper to access it. but wu was strangely good at flying in s15 huh… ^_^

Very "fast" rundown for a part of the Fall of Taihe lore

The Wu Empire has whats considered a curse and a blessing on their family: for each generation, one child (usually male) is born with the Eye Crown, and it gives them an absurd, generally uncontrollable amount of strength that can take over their being and make them destroy everything. Given 98% of the heirs w this crown are male, all boys are sent into training to harness this. Girls Are given training as well-- but theyre not given the headstart since its very rare they get this crown. Another important note is that the crown doesnt pass to the next generation unless the previous crown holder dies.

Main princess we are concerned about gains the Eye Crown unknowingly as there are no marks on her or her brothers that indicate it. The family believes that somehow, the previous crown holder is still alive and invests most of their time trying to find them, despite them u kno, being buried. None of the heirs get headstart training. Our princess is also born with a chronic illness that is Also passable through the Wu family. She receives no training whatsoever in regards to combat or more physically strenuous cultivation.

Fastforward 20 yrs the Wu family believes the crown has skipped a generation. None of the heirs have had the marks show up, in training nothing has been triggered, etc etc. Our princess also has more interest in scholarly topics along with her oldest brother.

The princess is given an arranged marriage & is doing everything in her power to get out of it. Given that a trained Eye Crown was a show of strength for the Wu family, sects are beginning to question what power they truly have, so the marriage was supposed to be a union that could help their reputation. Princess really could care less.

She has two lovers, unnamed guy and Dajing. She meets unnamed guy first, hes from a smaller sect yet is pretty notorious for his temper-- which is how Dajing knows him, yet he never realized he got w the princess.

Dajing ofc also gets w her, all r aware of the set up & all that, dajing and unnamed begrudgingly get along for their shared love of the princess.

Dajing is The strongest cultivator during this time. Bc of that, the princess begins to take interest in his training-- so he starts training her in more combative stuff.

While not obvious to the princess, unnamed guy figures out over the next cpl of years that She has the eye crown. Tries to bring it up to dajing in a subtle way to get him to stop training her-- so the untrained eye crown doesnt explode on everyone. Dajing gets the hint and tries to stop, but princess is stubborn (& hurt) about it.

They try to bring it up to the emperor via the princesses fiance, it doesnt work according to plan. At all.

Dajing starts going with simpler training as to not trigger anything, but the princess notices this & gets upset

Eventually, the eye crown is triggered, and the princess destroys a GOOD portion of a fucking mountain. This is very summarized, but this is the point where dajing has to seal her in ice, & him and unnamed argue about it Thoroughly.

The emperor finally like, believes them when he sees her sealed. They make up that she passed away from her chronic illness and try to keep everything under wraps. The princess does Not die in this ice seal.

Dajing carves her out of the Giant ice structure he had to make and sets up a really nice & lush realm for her that only He can access. He can bring in others, but others cant find the realm unless he is physically present.

Dajing & unnamed bond over their grief, but u kno, tragedy

Unnamed's & Dajings sects are at war w each other. <3

While Dajings sect ultimately goes under, unnamed is killed after a patrol frm dajings sect finds them together. His body falls into the river they were near, and dajing tries to find it after getting free but. Alas

Dajing then becomes immortal under the vow that he would keep the memory of the princess (& unnamed) alive

Time skip a cpl of centries. Ruyang is dumped on dajings estate as the huang sect falls under fire.

Dajing is like well. Damn. And takes care of her but only bc he didnt feel like trying to send her off to one of the sects. He doesnt like interacting w None of them

Ofc ruyang grows on him, he trains her to cultivate, all of that.

Timeskip again, ruyang is abt 30, & leaves to do her own thing after a lil petty argument.

Wu Jinhais older brother aka the Crown Prince makes his presence known to dajing. By standing where the realm for the princess wld be, shld dajing become present. Dajing is like um. Who the fuck are you. Crown prince is genuinely offended for a second bc how the fuck do you not know the Crown Prince of your country. Dajing is an old man simply

Anyways he kind of casually drops tht he knows what happened to the princess and that hes going to do smth abt that.

Dajing gets paranoid and moves the realm around. When Ruyang gets over herself he shows her the realm and kind of traumadumps but its fine

yeah. Crown prince has a lot more power than he shld. Since he shldnt have the Eye crown but also does he? Hm? Wuh oh

Anyways he wants to release the princess in order to either kill her so the eye crown can continue or wipe out the sects. Whatever happens first.

He basically keeps trying to pressure dajing into freeing the princess and he manages to Get In The Realm without dajing snd its freaking dj the fuck out but he wont budge and remove the seal. Until.

Crown prince brings back unnamed. Dajing's & the princess's lover!

Which ljke brings in the question how the fuck did you get his body but thats a sideplot. But dajing is obviously disoriented, the prince is In His Realm without him letting him there, ALONG with his previously dead lover, and its like what the actual fuck.

Unnamed is really hinged on bringing the princess back. The princess didnt know what was happenjng and was confused/scared when she was sealed. And he understandably wants her to feel safe, but he also wants her alive, which cant feasibly happen with the eye crown still technically active.

Like theres a WAYYYY to keep her alive and deactivate the eye crown but 1. Prince doesnt want that. 2. W the princesses existing illnesses it would become fatal for her anyways, unless dajing cld manage to convince this Other immortal to help him, but he wouldn't have time to do this w the prince on his ass.

Anyways. Where i stopped is the little argument there and dajing getting desperate to get this prince off of his back. This is where ruyang wld come back to dajing bc he writes a very panicked letter 2 her, but shes Also dealing w the royal family trying to beat her ass, so who knows how much it'll actually help.

Hi there ask from my favorite chief that was almost a year ago o/ jsksjksks After this long and scrolling through my blog to find the original post to figure out what this was about I'm here to answer! 😅

The rules for this ask was give 5 facts... but as you'll see I got a little carried away. Enjoy!

I did look up the tropes of Horror characters because I've honestly only watched a handful of horror movies but I know enough from pop culture to be ready to answer this sjksj My just being bad at names meant I needed help from the internet

Horror Movie AU w/ DMBJ + Guardian

Okay first let's start with the cast:

Obviously got to have Zhao Yunlan, Shen Wei, and Wu Xie Pangzi and Xiaoge (I've got special plans for him 😉) Lin Jing and Liu Sang would be interesting in this settle, especially keeping the fake monk being a monk and Liu Sang having enhanced senses. As much as I would love to have my beloved cat and Chu Shuzhi or Xiao Guo, I've gotta focus in otherwise this would become so much more jsksjksjs

The Plot Hook

When a group of tomb raiders are caught by authorities as they are leaving a tomb, they think that will be the worst of it, until members of their team are slowly being killed or going missing. They are forced to team up in order to make it out alive. Is it man or monster? Living or dead? The group must find answers before there's no one left.

Character tropes/Roles

Zhao Yunlan - The competent fighter/cop, he's trained for taking down killers and bring justice to those that have been wronged. He's there for a purpose and is always motivated to keep moving forward without giving up hope

Shen Wei - The smart one/competent fighter, combines with facts told by other characters to piece things together and actually figure out who the killer is/why

Wu Xie - The final "girl", destined to be the last survivor as he eventually realizes that he's not being targeted the way the others are

Pangzi - The character that sacrifices himself to protect/safe his friends, he would never let his friend's be hurt if he could do something about it (maybe in the sequel it's revealed he didn't actually die bc I couldn't bear to keep this man dead)

Lin Jing - The one trying to guide through the problem and understanding the deeper thing going on

Liu Sang - The one able to warn when danger grows near, as the plot continues he struggles more and more to tell when something is about to happen until he's too late to save himself

Xiaoge - The corrupted killer, maybe a tomb curse or the effects of the Zhang family trying to bring back their perfect immortal head of the family under their control (Do I love the friends fighting against each other against their will/one refusing to hurt the other in a fight? yes, yes I do)

The Resolution

With the combined intelligence and competence, the group is able to figure out the identity of the killer and the effects that Xiaoge is under to do such things. It's a struggle with losses, Pangzi dying (or maybe not quite and he comes back later) to protect Wu Xie to get back to Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan with important information and Liu Sang being eventually bested by the man he always looked up to and unable to bear raising a hand to his Ouixang. Lin Jing has a close call, almost dying after being attacked but manages to make it out alive. Zhao Yunlan, Shen Wei, and Wu Xie end up even closer bonded and Wu Xie ends up joining in their task force (SID equivalent in this AU) to follow the captured Xiaoge, hoping to be part of the solution of helping his friend through the effects that drove him to doing all of this and believing Pangzi dead and burying Liu Sang.

Could totally have a reboot/sequel with Pangzi coming back for revenge or something. Jksjksjs this escalated, but enjoy this full Horror AU breakdown! 😁 Thanks for the ask, chief o/

Shadowpeach HC’s

These were part of a bigger post but then I noticed how skewed they were to include Macaque and Wu Kong lmao

I have also developed a crippling addiction to angst of these two soo...,,, (These ones are fucked: CW for toaster bath mentions + SH) 

Jesus Christ I didn’t think LMK monks could make me get on the same angst level as actual Tommy Exile shit from DSMP lore lmao

- Monkey King and Macaque play each other in Xian Qi ALL THE TIME and they’re both extremely good since they both had experiences leading actual war troops.

Occasionally they’ll get caught up in a really intense game and someone would enter the room just to feel the tension of two superpowers going at it. MK likes to watch them though and they teach him how to play it eventually

- Macaque is a theatre kid and used to put on plays for Monkey King’s generals when they all lived on Flower Fruit Mountain

Continuation: People assume that Macaque is the only theatre kid, but they seem to forget that Su Kong also exists in that category. After he got ahold of what was going on he’d demand to be able to participate and so they’d act out and voice plays for ‘show nights’ as the monkeys called them.

When they eventually meet again in the airship they host a ‘show’ called “Shows first take”. This is when MK or Mei get an episode of a show and let Macaque and Wu Kong voice over all the lines in one take- they saw Snapcube’s dubs and said “hey we can do that 🤨” and then they did.

- Monkey King likes Peach chips, and Macaque likes Plantain chips

- As kids Wu Kong and Macaque both loves stealing juice boxes from local grocery stores

Not only that but the concept of juice just being sold was revolutionary to them.

“You’re telling me I don’t have to squeeze oranges until my hands are orange?!”

“No- Wu Kong you don’t understand, they made orange juice without pulp”

“WHAT THE FUCK-”

- Both Wu Kong and Macaque have never worn sneakers a DAY in their lives so the only thing they’ll wear that's close to shoes is sandals. (No socks either they hate those)

- Macaque can purr and Sun Wu Kong cannot

- I mentioned in one of my posts about Shadowpeach constantly dreaming about them apologizing to each other and becoming friends and now I raise you this: 

When they actually did apologize and agree to be civil for the sake of LBD fucking shit up, neither of them cried and they didn’t even hug or anything which is weird because they DID have a super emotional talk about how they need to get their shit together and everything. 

However, they both started bawling the following night when they decided to watch a movie about space together. They’re emotionally constipated and for some reason hearing some guy talk about black holes and the vastness of the universe really did it for them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 

After that they always kept an eye on one another so they don’t accidentally disappear from the other’s view for too long

- Monkey King’s stupid automated cardboard cut-outs have a sensor installed to sense if macaque is near it, and if he is the speaker will say 

“Everyone thinks my favorite fruit is peaches, but my second favorite is mangoes :D”

- Macaque used to deal with Wu Kong’s bullshit for a long time, so one day close to when he joined the “Find the Samadhi Fire Club” Monkey King is like- OFF THE WALLS BATSHIT CRAZY (he didn’t take his meds *Wheeze*) and the gang has absolutely no fucking idea how to control him.

Macaque walks into the room, calls in Wu Kong to spar w/ him and they watch all of the *hyper-ness* melt away in the easy push and pull they have when they practice. They never let Macaque be out of the house when Monkey King goes hyper mode now.

- Macaque does the sweetest things for Wu Kong without saying it out-loud.

He leaves reminders when he knows the other’ll forget to do something.

Makes sure to leave Wu Kong the peaches from the fruit bowl

He’ll talk to MK and propose a day off from training when he knows both Wu Kong and his successor need a break

He indulges Wu Kong’s word vomit about some random shit because he knows it’s been so long since he trusted anyone long enough to let loose around them

When MK’s training with Monkey King, he prepares a selection of small first aid in case one of them gets hurt

He leaves him flowers made of shadows so they don’t wilt

Angst- One Last CW ok nice awesome;; anyway

- Macaque learned how to smoke his problems away and since he’s immortal he just has to recycle his lungs every so often because hundreds of years of smoking really does a number on ya o77

He listens to Minecraft Music* he pirated because he is a menace to society and smokes a whole fucking pack above the cloud line on really bad days 

*For anyone who cares, Macaque’s favorite song is Excuse and that is not up for debate

Also once YouTube auto played this song next and Mr emo monkey had a little itty bitty breakdown- mama was crying WATERFALLS

- Macaque never can listen to music above 15% if he uses headphones because his eardrums would start to rupture

HOWEVER if something really fucking bad happened he’d bump it up to 20%for ✨escapism✨ resolving that he’ll just fix his bleeding ears later

- One time MK made a joke that Macaque would totally make and it distracted Monkey King so bad that MK actually landed a hit on him that was pretty respectable

- Wu Kong holds himself at night to try and pretend he’s not alone

- They just.,,, they hurt inside. Both of them. A lot.

- Sandy can see people’s aura and the first time he saw Macaque he was rooted to the spot because the only other person he’s seen carry this much hurt  is Wu Kong himself

- Wu Kong curls up in a ball in an effort to hide from all the things he knows he fucked up (Him and Mac’s relationship, being a mentor to MK, getting attached to Tripitaka and the rest of the JTTW crew, lying abt certain things abt the Samadhi fire, etc.)

- OHHH FUCK THIS ONE’S SO SAD- I- I CAN’T- Wu Kong tries to replicate the feeling of the circlet in anyway he can whenever he screws something up, it started with large things like neglecting MK and ignoring Mei trying to tell him to man up for his mistakes and then it built up to anything minor in the slightest

God I fucking hate that stupid circlet it’s literally so fucking dumb I hate it the only thing that mounts up to this type of loathing is LBD’s bullshitery in cannon jfccccc

Like- Holy shit Wu Kong’s in the kitchen, drops a bowl by accident and freezes

HHHHHHHhhH- and then he starts justifying to himself why it was okay that he did that- it was an accident- accidents happen- but what if the bowl was expensive- it’s fine he can fix it- everything fine- 100% fine he’ll take care of it

And the whole time there’s not a single person in the kitchen so he’s just sitting in the middle of an empty kitchen mumbling to himself and clutching his head like the circlet is there

- Macaque has a mural of the JTTW gang and one can see over the years how his feelings went from denial to anger to depression because at first the only noticeable marks were Tripitaka’s face being chiseled right out of the wall. 

Then, scratches appeared all over the mural including Zhu Ba Jie, Sha Wu Jing, and Sun Wu Kong and finally; A huge red X was hastily drawn over the Monkey King, then scribbled over, then drawn again...Macaque’s still conflicted about it and sometimes just sits there with a wet sponge in his paw debating whether or not the X deserves to be there

- Contrary to popular belief Macaque actually HATES caffeine. Why? Caffeine is a stimulant. Alcohol is a depressant. One of them won’t cause him to gain hope about fixing things between him and Wu Kong. 

One of them won’t make him go to Flower Fruit Mountain and embarrass himself in front of Wu Kong’s subjects because the golden monkey wasn’t even THERE he was gone on some sort of errand and all of his pathetic (they weren’t really, Macaque loved them) subjects watched him cry to himself.

- Once Macaque and Wu Kong had their falling out, Macaque refused to call Wu Kong anything but 大圣 because that's all he was to him now. Some random deity with too much power. Some random deity that was stupid, and beautiful, but stubborn and just not for Macaque. 

(Wu Kong’s reaction to this was anger- he was so angry that Macaque had decided for him when his name started to mean nothing. But obviously he didn’t do anything because he was a pussy; and Macaque didn’t stick to the name-boycott for long because as soon as MK is added into the mix the name Wu Kong comes back instantly)
