another thing i love about laios:
HE IS GENUINELY A REALLY GOOD LEADER!!
despite struggling with the finer points of socializing, he has all the qualities necessary to be a good leader.
(i refer to the manga a lot in this post as someone who's read most of the manga at this point, but i avoided any specific spoilers)
He cares about all his teammates' well-being
He is extremely level-headed in a crisis
He is excellent at strategizing (within his areas of expertise; in the manga someone eventually points out he's pretty much useless at fighting other humans, lol)
If a plan fails, he is immediately thinking up a fallback plan - he doesn't give up
He is acutely aware of his teammates' strength and weaknesses, and accurately assigns them tasks suited to them in times of need.
He is perhaps not innately a 'leader-type'; he's fine deferring to the rest of the party most of the time, even when he doesn't understand why. (Just going along with the blindfold in the sauna for example, lol.) He was ready to head back into the dungeon by himself before Chilchuck and Marcille volunteered to come along. He doesn't think of himself as particularly smart or special. And when the party meets others (such as the old gnome couple) they don't tend to assume Laios is the leader.
But he has an unwavering vision (during the story it's rescuing Falin), and, you see it again and again: when they enter difficult combat, or any time things fall apart and everyone is panicking, Laios steps up and takes charge. His calmness helps everyone else calm down, and they generally follow his lead. They intuitively look to him in a crisis, to the point they're shocked the few times he doesn't have any ideas.
It kind of ties into another thought I have; he is repeatedly seen as "having no interest in other people" by other characters, but this isn't really true! He struggles to understand people and he is aware that they struggle to understand him. This leads to him mostly focusing on the things he IS good at understanding, such as monsters. But he genuinely makes a big effort to understand the people he cares about. In the manga, there are times you see him think deeply about his friends' struggles and motivations. For much of the early arcs, he understands Chilchuck better than Marcille or Senshi do. He and Marcille don't get each other that well at the start of the story, but by the end they have a very strong reciprocal friendship.
I could go on about it honestly but this post is already very long. Tl;dr laios one of the characters of all time to me and i think people should appreciate his leadership skills more!!

Slashers chasing their victim (their future s/o) and in the middle of the chase their s/o just stops to grab and protect a little animal thinking they were going to hurt them (like a pup or kitten) how would they react
Can you also make their s/o chubby?:)
Plz and Ty
I didn't quite know how to bring up that the reader is supposed to be chubby in this one but I definitely imagined a chubby reader while writing it.
Slashers when their future s/o is protecting a small animal from them
Warning: Animal Death/Animal Cruelty (not described in any detail but it is mentioned and implied)
Jason Voorhees
He has been chasing you around for a few minutes now, and you are slowly starting to get winded. Then there is the small stray cat, dirty and terribly malnourished. There are a few of them living around the lake, you know that much. And the cat is right between him and you.
Oh no, he’s gonna crush the poor thing, you think, and your protective instinct overrides your self-preservation. You rush to the cat, pick it up and run away again, not noticing that Jason stopped following you and is just staring after you with wide eyes.
You hide in one of the cabins, hoping to be able to catch your breath for a few seconds before having to run away again. Your new companion is meowing at you.
„Hush, you’re gonna give us away“, you whisper hectically, when a huge shadow falls over you. You look up, and your heart drops into your stomach.
That’s it, you’re going to die. Jason is already reaching for your neck… then his hand slips lower, gently patting the cat’s head.
„H...huh?“
He saw what you did, how you risked your own life to save that little creature… and he admires that. Maybe you’re not so bad after all.
Vincent Sinclair
The creature you try to protect ends up being Jonesy, ironically. You see her in the Sinclair house and you’re to stressed and scared to even consider the possibility that she belongs to the people chasing you.
„Come on, please, they’re going to hurt you too if they find us“, you say to the dog while desperately trying to get her to follow you. „Come on, little one, I won’t hurt you, I promise-“
Vincent appears from the next room, looking at you for a long time. Jonesy happily runs up to him, tail wagging.
„...Oh. She’s your dog. Well don’t I look stupid now.“
His shoulders begin twitching, accompanied by a suppressed chuckle. He manages not to fully burst out laughing, but he can’t help himself; your awkwardness is just so *endearing*. He may want to keep you around just for that. Alive, of course. You won’t be half as entertaining if you’re dead and covered in wax.
Freddy Krueger
Really? You’re willing to sacrifice your life for an imaginary *hamster*? He thought that letting you see a bit of his past would be fun, and of all the fucked up things that happened in his life, him killing the class hamster when he was a kid is the only thing you take issue with? Not the fact that he murdered his foster father? Not the fact that he murdered *children*? No? The hamster it is? Okay, then. You got damn weird priorities, but Freddy likes weird. Maybe killing you would really be a waste, so he lets you live… for now.
Brahms Heelshire
„Brahms Heelshire, you let that rat go right this instant!“
Brahms actually flinches and does as he is told. The rat quickly disappears somewhere; you’re not sure where.
Once he gets over the shock, he gives you a sour pout. „Why? It’s just a rat.“
„It’s a living, breathing, feeling being.“
„So are cows and we still eat them.“
„Oh I’m sorry, is this household doing so poor financially that we have to resort to eating rats now?“ You cross your arms in front of your chest. „Well?“
„No“, Brahms says between gritted teeth.
„I thought so.“ You know that scolding Brahms is a delicate task; being too lenient with him means he won’t learn his lesson, and being just the slightest bit too harsh with him will result in an angry outburst. And those can end deadly. But that’s what you signed up for when you agreed to become his nanny… right?
„Rats carry diseases though. They shouldn’t be in the house“, Brahms continues to argue.
You pinch the bridge of your nose. „Yes, that’s why we have the traps out in the garden, and another reason why you shouldn’t touch them. I don’t particularly like having to kill the rats at all, but the traps do so as quickly and as painlessly as possible. So even if they have to die for our safety, there is no, and I repeat, NO reason to torture them. Understood?“
Brahms has his chin pressed firmly onto his chest now; the tension in his body shows that he is getting frustrated. „Yes.“
Okay, time to ease off a little.
„That’s my good Brahms.“ You smile at him.
Bubba Sawyer
Another case of mistaking your would-be-killer’s pet for another potential victim. In this case, it is a chicken. When you saw the poor thing in this room, sorrounded by human bone furniture, you didn’t dare imagine what this family would do to it.
„Hey… nice chicken… good chicken…“
At first you don’t see Bubba lingering at the entrance of the chicken room, looking at you gently speaking to his favourite.
When you notice him, you immediately grab the chicken and nudge it to the questionable safety behind your back.
Bubba looks at you and licks his lips. You are so nice to his chickens. He likes that.
You flinch when he comes inside and kneels down in front of you, pulling the chicken from behind your back into his arms and holding it up to you to pet, like any proud pet-parent.
„Oh… they chickens are yours? They look pretty well taken care of, actually…“ That, and this one is so calm, despite being held by this behemoth of a man.
You reach out and run your hand over the soft feathers, making Bubba smile, delighted.

wyll, in my opinion, gets the standard fare treatment for characters that are unequivocally good. i.e. people think he's boring and uninteresting. standard fare might be kind actually given the level of racism and unexplained slander (which is often just more thinly veiled racism). his reputation about being boring is not helped by the very blatant neglect of his storyline post his rewrite and release. as a wyll enjoyer i am hyperaware of the sorry state of his current story in all three acts
despite all of that and the glaring flaws - i still believe that wylls storyline is worth of being engaged with and explored.
one of the reasons (not the most major one, but one) i think wyll experiences so much neglect as a companion stems from a wider idea that "goodness" is always the uncomplicated, easy choice.
it's something i see a lot. wyll is boring because of his archetype as a princely and universally righteous guy. and this is interesting, because it always seems to functions under the assumption that wylls moral character is innate. that his heroic and righteous actions are in some capacity, uncomplicated.
uniquely among the male origin companions, through the course of wylls story - there is never a point in which he is at risk of making a truly 'bad' choice. both gale and astarions story have them at risk of making choices that are ultimately bad for them and others (especially tav when each character is romanced). gales godhood and astarions ascension are their in game moral failings. they are the result of having not broke the cycle and are 'bad' choices for the individual character.
wylls main choice is however his pact and the choice to break that pact. notably - wyll is never at risk of making a bad choice, only a selfish one.
from the critique i see of wyll - it seems like this is the element of him people find most egregious. he's too smooth, not rugged enough, not gritty enough. but i don't think wyll's character needs grit, necessarily.
if you take any time to dissect wyll at all, based on dialogue and character interaction, many of his choices put himself at the forefront of sacrifice. the game strips wyll of a lot of agency, but wyll also always abides by and sticks to his core belief. so often towards his own detriment.
not only does wyll bear the consequence of being turned into a devil (stripping him of the last remaining shred of identity he's ever had and one of the most important things in his life), he bore the burden of being banished when he made his pact, and was willing to do the same for the sake of his father when he is taken to moonrise.
and unlike gale (who i adore, to be clear) who's concept of self-sacrifice stems mostly from a low self-worth - the belief that dying is the best he can do - wyll truly views that it's better him than them.
wyll does not think twice about allowing himself to be the one to take the fall. he can play any part, take any role, even when these choices haunt him so obviously. wyll claims that he forgives his father, but opens up to you about fearing his feelings of missing him are one-sided. he believes that making his pact was the right choice, the one he would make again - but doesn't deny the obvious pain and solace that came along with being a wandering traveler and banished son.
wylls goodness is so deliberate. he is so staunch in upholding and acting on his beliefs that it is always narrative to his own detriment. when you view wyll like this , and view his choices with regards this character attribute, it is imo very hard to hate him.
wyll's goodness is his double edged sword. it makes him heroic, brave, fearless. and it makes him scared, uncertain and lonely. again, the story itself is bare bones and i understand that - but it is so very beautiful to me thinking of him and tav or just his general romance.
as wylls romance partner, encouraging wyll to break his pact is as tragic as it very beautiful. tav is wylls one selfish thing. one of the only reasons that would move him to not give himself up. one of the only reasons he is okay with forgoing his beliefs. he loves tav enough to break his own oaths, and make choices for himself and no one else. not as the blade, or as a ravengard - but just as wyll.
and that aspect of him is in my opinion, enforced, by the mindflayer tav ending. in which wylls monster-hunting and morals are made exceptions with / for tav. my enjoyment of hero corruption might be speaking for me, but i digress.
in every way though - i truly love wyll as a character. and while im well aware of the critical flaws in his in game story state, i think it's both unfortunate and unfair that people call him boring. to me he is anything but

Please love me is Jimin's line today
The hardest few seconds for me to watch, were these...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jimin was absolutely dreading appearing on screen without his trademark beautiful hair.
We know he left it as late as he could and didn't want to show anyone.
Tumblr media
He looked like he was barely holding it together when he called attention to his hair being shaved. He must have genuinely been scared of the reaction he would get, even from Kook.
"It looks good on you"
Jungkook, you absolute fucking LEGEND 💜
He knew exactly what to say.
When Jungkook told Jimin he looked good (even with no hair) Jimin turned his face away <those feels choking him up> and when he turned back, the almost desperate look of gratitude mixed with relief was so clear.
Please love me is Jimin's line today.
Tumblr media
This is not about vanity, ego or pride.
It brings home how fragile his confidence is. His need for approval and the assurance of being loved is strong. It’s so heartbreaking, but we know he hasn't had an easy road.**
Thankfully he did stand a little bit taller once JK reassured him...
Tumblr media
But it wasn't an easy moment for Jungkook either.
Whether because he had to witness Jimin's fear and could do nothing more than pet his head, or because he was facing his own misgivings (probably both) he looked equally lost in that moment.
Remember that these boys have left their home once before and journeyed to a place that was less than welcoming. They've had to face the grim, disproving faces of unkind critics and a system that didn't support or value them.
I don't doubt there were echoes of that feeling on this day, that same sense of trepidation they've known before.
We know how the military treats men like them.
Tumblr media
And then...
we got this:
Tumblr media
You can take the boy out of Busan but you can't take Busan out of the boy.
(People say this about my home town too...)
The shadow of fear is still there in his eyes but.... he looks like a (very hot) backstreet thug who will absolutely fuck you up no questions asked.
It does occur to me that MS might be the reason Jimin has been learning to fight.
I mean really learning to fight.
Yes he's probably doing boxing too but i suspect something more than that ... you shouldn't get torn knuckles from boxing lessons unless you aren't wrapping your hands properly, just saying.
Tumblr media
<Gotta love a person who can hold you and cradle your head, and also knock down an aggressor when they have to.>
If all else fails (words before fists, right?) I hope he can handle himself.
If he must defend himself, and someone (not him) looks like they've had a close encounter with his fists, I saw nothing.
I hope for both of them, their background will serve them well. In any case they will support one another and their love will see them through this. It's exactly why they are enlisting as companions.
Tumblr media
🐰🐥
This is no easy journey, for these young men (all seven of them) or for their families, their friends, and their loved ones. Yes, it's reality of life for every person in Korea, but that doesn't make it easier when it's YOU or YOUR person who is going away.
I am seeing them off with an in ache in my chest - I know we all are. But I'm toasting their successful military service, and their quick return.
짠 지민아, 정국이! We love you 💜💛
See you soon, Angels.
Tumblr media
** 'Hurry up and be me soon' ...
Some of us know how much it costs to put our authentic self out into the world. The sacrifices you have to be willing to make are huge. You're not only exposing your own vulnerabilities, but the flow on effect for your family and friends is real.
<talking specifically about Jimin here... how many times do you think his parents will have to say 'no, Jimin doesnt have a girlfriend, and no he isn't looking for one... No he doesn't plan to marry'.>
It's a long journey to self love and acceptance...
We know Jimin has been through a number of iterations of himself. He's been through the tough guy phase, the closed book, the siren, aloof and sophisticated, and the gently feminine.
The image he presents to the world is as much a construct as any person's is - and whether you're aware of this or not, all our public selves are social constructs.
"One size does not fit all" for queer people
For cis gendered heterosexual people, society has a few different ready-made constructs you can adopt, and the rest of society automatically understands the message you're sending. Most of them maintain the status quo of heterosexual cultural norms.
For anyone who DOESNT fit those norms, it's honestly never going to feel good expressing an image that isnt really you. Its like trying and make your circle self fit in a square box.
But theres nothing else that's readily available...
You really have to construct your public image from scratch.
When you aren't part of that typical demographic, figuring out how you want to be seen by the world can be an arduous and complex process.
How much do you reveal? How much do you risk?
You'll experiment with styles, behaviours, and social groups until you find a safe space you can occupy.
Jimin's safe space is with ARMY or his members, but it requires looking perfect.
Think about Jimin's hesitance to appear on camera without makeup. How carefully he chooses his clothes - whether for airport appearances, stage performance or out on the street. He usually has a team of people making sure he looks perfect. His hair is a trademark feature. It's always beautiful.
Remember that he's used to EVERYONE LOOKING AT HIM, ALL THE TIME.
Imagine how it feels to go out in public - against your will - with a shaved head.
Without hair, he would have surely felt naked. Plus, he's no longer in the safe embrace of ARMY, and his buffer of security and managers keeping him out of danger is gone.
He's immensely famous, but not universally loved (don't even go there) and bald, and small, and an IDOL, and very gay ... lets go with unlikely to be heterosexual.
No wonder he was feeling vulnerable.
Ngl, it broke my heart to see him so afraid but I'm sure he'll have a substantial group of supporters around him. I can only hope.
💜💛

Demands of the Qun, or How the Inquisitor's Choice Answers the Iron Bull's Most Important Question
I was having a chat about the Iron Bull and his personal quest with some friends and one person said in response to something I said that I should make it a Post, so here it is! And a usual disclaimer: this is not about which in-game decision is "correct"--it's an RPG, there's no wrong way to play the game. I just want to talk about the meaning of this decision for Bull's character and for his future.
Dragon Age: Inquisition’s “Demands of the Qun” is, for me, one of those quests where the RPG format of “player character makes major decision for companion character” really works. I do not see this as an example of game mechanics taking away agency from an NPC. I think Bull has agency in this situation.
The Chargers are not Inquisition soldiers. They are mercenaries, and Bull is their commander. If the Inquisitor makes a call he doesn't like, he is free to say "Screw you" and take his people and leave, because they are not soldiers, they're independent contractors, so leaving isn't desertion, it's just quitting. If he were already certain he wanted to leave the Qun, he could simply call the retreat himself, take the Chargers and leave. Similarly if he were certain of his loyalties and willing to sacrifice the Chargers for that purpose, he could do that, regardless of what the Inquisitor says.
He lets the Inquisitor make this choice.
The Iron Bull has had one foot out the door of the Qun for a long time now. But he's gone back and gone back, submitted himself for re-education and done his best to keep serving the Qun, because he believes he needs the Qun. To him, becoming Tal-Vashoth means losing himself, his identity, his purpose, his very sanity, and as the Fade tells us in "Here Lies the Abyss," this is quite literally his greatest fear. Bull could never bring himself to leave the Qun with nowhere to go instead, nothing to give his life purpose and meaning—and no one to entrust himself to should he doubt his own sanity.
But in his work in the south, the Iron Bull has found community and identity and purpose outside the Qun. The very name he has given himself speaks to that, as does his close relationship to the Chargers.
Right from the beginning, there is tension in "Demands of the Qun." Bull remarks that he's gotten used to the Qunari being "over there" during his life in the south. I think Bull has a very potent anxiety when he meets Gatt again on the Storm Coast, and introduces him to the Inquisitor and their party. To me, it very much has the vibes of introducing two friend groups, where you're not only pretty sure they won't get along, but you're also very aware that they know very different sides of you—and neither of them are going to like seeing the other side. Bull's discomfort is visible both when Gatt speaks freely about Bull's work in the Ben-Hassrath, and when the Inquisitor's other companions make disparaging remarks about the Qun. His two worlds have collided, calling into conflict two sides of his sense of self that he has thus far managed to avoid confronting.
And this is likely part of the point. The Qun does not truly respect alliances with any outside the Qun. I wouldn't say for sure that the Qunari set up this whole situation just to test Bull—it's possible they knew exactly how many Venatori would show up, but they couldn't have known precisely how the Inquisition would respond. That, and their desire to root out the Venatori is no doubt sincere. But I do think they are watching Bull's actions very closely throughout this proposed alliance, gauging his loyalty. Gatt tells him outright that many already believe he has betrayed the Qun.
Bull's internal conflict quickly becomes an external one when the Venatori reinforcements show up, and Bull is faced with the decision of whether to withdraw the Chargers or defend the dreadnought at the cost of their lives.
The thing is, Bull is not neutral on this. He tells the Inquisitor what he wants. He wants to save the Chargers. If the Inquisitor says that the Chargers still have time to retreat, Bull agrees. When Gatt tells him they need to hold position, he says in a low, intense tone, "They're my men."
And then, when Gatt tells him in no uncertain terms that calling the retreat will make him Tal-Vashoth, the Iron Bull looks to the Inquisitor.
Again, he is not neutral. He knows what he wants. He is standing there basically begging the Inquisitor with his eyes to save his boys.
So why doesn't he just make the call himself?
Because just as this whole situation is in part a test of Bull's loyalty, this is also a test of the Inquisitor.
What Bull needs to leave the Qun is not simply for someone else to make the choice for him, but to believe that there is a future for him outside the Qun. That he will still be himself, that he will have purpose, and meaning, and that someone else is worth trusting. Bull cannot bring himself to leave the Qun if it means he will be left utterly alone with nothing but his own mind and his deepest fears. And if that's what leaving the Qun means… then in his mind, it would be better to stay.
The Inquisitor's choice will answer that question.
To sacrifice the Chargers leaves Bull with nothing outside of the Qun. He has just watched his closest friends die, and he cannot trust the Inquisitor. With Krem and Rocky and Skinner and Stitches and Dalish and Grim, the new sense of self that the Iron Bull has found in the south also dies.
Of course he turns back to the Qun. He has nothing else left.
But if it's the Inquisitor who makes the call to save the Chargers… Bull can leave. He has friends who care about him. He has purpose. He has someone whose command he can trust. He has hope. None of this makes the choice easy for him. It is quite clearly very painful and difficult, and I don't think there's any way it could be otherwise. But he has a way forward nonetheless. The choice makes leaving possible.
The Inquisitor doesn't force the Iron Bull to become Tal-Vashoth. Instead, Bull implicitly asks a question, and the Inquisitor by their choice gives him an answer.

The Doctor's incarnations have fears associated to what caused their regenerations Two acting childlike and whimsical because he's afraid of growing old again. He's scared of becoming a crotchety old man that will die alone. He surrounds himself with friends just as he much with surrogates, to help him feel like he isn't too old to be running about having adventures. Three having a lot of complex and mixed feelings about the Time Lords. He resents them for what they did to him and his companions, but also very scared of facing that fate again should cross their path once more. Four can't stand spiders. They didn't directly kill him, but damn did they play a big part leading up to his regeneration. They give him the willies and Sarah Jane and Romana always have to take care of invading arachnids while he is perched safely on the center console. Five hating heights might actually be canon, he's shown freaking out on a cliff in Castrovalva and hating every minute of a plane ride in Time Flight. Boy likes to keep his feet firmly where he doesn't risk falling. He'll get vertigo if too close to a ledge. Six being scared of getting sick. While this one is more vague, it was the fever of Spectrox Toxemia that kills, so I could see him being panicky and over compensating when it comes to illnesses. Pulls manflu pity every time: bed rest, tea, soup, hot waterbottle on the forehead, reciting rhetoric about his woes. Poor Peri and Mel has to tend to his drama. I can also see him hating bats but in a "why can't you fuckers make more than a tiny vial of milk, asshole???" kind of way. I think Seven's might also be canon (in the books at least) with the way he mentally locked away his Sixth self in fear of the Valeyard. Though he wasn't really a cause for regeneration, he certainly set the Doctor on the path to it. Eight terrified of medicine and hospitals. Aspirin is already deadly to Time Lords, anesthesia fucked up his regeneration. This boy won't go to a medical professional unless he's dragged in unconscious. He will look at broken leg twisted out of shape and claim he can walk it off. The Warrior/War Doctor scared of failing people the way he did Cass. His spirit for hope and brighter ending to the war broken when he regenerated. He became the one that got his hands dirty because he was too scared to let anyone else die under his care.
Nine scared of war. War Doctor held off his regeneration for years to keep fighting, and Nine clearly does his best to step away from the incarnation he hated being more than anything. Like he said, "Coward, any day." Ten is a bit tricky. He's scared of Daleks, losing companions. He's scared that people around him will be willing to sacrifice themselves for him. Scared of the heart of the Tardis, the very soul of time itself ripping away what/who he loves. After Rose is safe from it he was very careful to never let anyone open it again. Eleven scared to see another Time Lord again. He's heartbroken about being the last of his kind. Romana, Brax, Damon all gone. The Master's plans had gotten so much more violent and destructive and insane than they used to be. The other Time Lords so desperate to escape the Time Locked war that they'd destroy time to do it. He's scared of everything ending if the Time Lords return. I haven't really seen enough of Twelve or past that to give proper interpretations on them, but I'm pretty sure Twelve is determined not to be seen as an old man. It's like he sees this new cycle as starting over so he's trying to act like he's the young, rebellious first incarnation? idk

Do you think you could write something with Aegon x velaryon or targ reader and it’s their wedding night? Plz and thank youuuuu
Yes! Here we go.
Sweet Girl
Aegon x Velaryon(Strong)!Reader
Warnings: 18+ ONLY MINORS DNI unprotected sex, loss of virginity, Targcest, soft!Aegon.
Tumblr media
This is it. Y/N fidgets restless at the foot of Aegon’s mattress. Her uncle, her nemesis, her husband.
Aegon approaches with two cups in hand.
“No,” Y/N puts a hand out, pushing back against the gauntlet lightly. “Thank you.”
“You’re shaking.” Aegon says, pointedly. “Trust me, a drink or two always takes the edge off.”
“You don’t have to be nice to me now.”
“That’s not entirely true.” He frowns. “I have no desire to face the wrath of your mother, stepfather or the King.”
“You think my mother would be angry?” Y/N scoffs, “if Rhaenyra cared she would not have been so willing to let us marry.”
Aegon tosses back his drink. “You are her heir after all, there’s bound to be sacrifice required to pave your way. If it makes you feel any better, this was my mother’s doing as well.”
Y/N looks up at him, still standing over her with the cup.
“It is not poison, I swear.”
The brunette smirks, taking the offering in hand and chugging the liquid. It burns its way down her throat, much stronger than wine. “What is that?” She chokes out.
Aegon takes the seat beside her, the mattress shifting under his weight as he claps the princess once on the back. “Only the best for my wife.”
Y/N allows the cup to tumble from her hand and clatter to the floor. The effects of the concoction hit her fast.
“Would you like another?” Aegon asks.
“Somehow I don’t think that’s a good idea. Unless you prefer me unconscious.” Y/N muses, “on second thought-” she makes for the chalice.
“Oh no,” Aegon chuckles, catching her around the waist. “If I have to be awake for this, so do you.”
“Let us get on with it then.” Y/N tosses herself backwards onto the coverlet.
“You’re just going to lie there?”
“Mhm,” Y/N closes both eyes.
“Am I truly so awful?”
“That remains to be seen.”
“How are you meant to see anything with your eyes closed?”
Y/N peeks at him, through a slit in one eye.
Aegon moves over her slowly, leaning on his elbows. Keeping most of his weight off of her. “I’ll be good to you.”
She sighs, taking in his face above her, in full. Aegon is beautiful, she’ll give him that. And when he’s not being a twat, he can be kind. “Swear it?”
“I do.”
In a spirit induced state of willful negligence, she reaches a hand up to cup his cheek. “Could you ever love me?”
“Love,” he laughs. “What is love but a frivolous endeavor which breeds eternal suffering?”
Y/N lifts a shoulder, “I suppose you’re right. But there must also be benefits. Think of all those who live and die for it.”
Aegon shifts against her, making himself at home with his chest to hers. “I have never known love. However, lust and I are dear companions. You will find pleasure each time we lie together.”
“And when we are finished I’ll leave?”
“If that is your desire.”
“What if I stay?”
“That is my desire.”
“Then you do crave affection?”
“Among other things, yes.” He admits. “From you, as my wife, I crave affection above all.”
“I’ve never…been with anyone. I can’t say if I’ll be good at it.” Her eyes search his for reassurance.
“We could learn together.” Aegon leans in a bit closer, their breath mingling. “Conquer love and rule the Seven Kingdoms.”
Y/N pushes slightly off the bedding, capturing his lips with hers. “You’ll have to conquer me first.”
Aegon grins against her mouth, “gently the first round, then without mercy.”
Y/N inhales deeply, feeling his tongue invade her mouth. Lapping against her own, tasting her thoroughly.
As he suspected, she is sweet. Aegon relishes in this for a long moment, until her hips begin canting up against his. His finger tips grazing along the silhouette of her torso through the material of her nightgown. Squeezing the flesh of her hip, past her rib cage to the outskirts of her breasts. Cupping her soft mounds, nipples pebbling against his palm.
Y/N gasps, pressure building between her thighs. She rocks her hips against Aegon for relief, gasping at the feel of him, rock solid.
“Could you come undone like this, sweetheart?”
“I- I don’t know.”
Aegon hums, trailing kisses away from her lips, over her cheek, the corner of her panting mouth, sucking lightly at the pulse point on her neck. Rolling her peaks between his thumb and forefinger. “So responsive, I think you could.”
Y/N whines, looking for some relief from her aching core. “Aegon, please.”
“May I take this off?” He tugs at her gown, lightly.
She nods, staring up at him with glossy eyes. Following his lead, until nothing is left between them. Catching a glimpse of his length, she quickly moves her gaze away.
“You can look.” Aegon offers her a lopsided grin.
“Does it hurt,” Y/N motions to his cock, hard and pink at the tip.
Aegon kneels down between her legs, parting her thighs farther and finding her bundle of nerves. Y/N squeals, gripping his shoulders for purchase. “It wants attention, but it’s not painful yet.”
“I want you inside me.” Y/N rides his hand unabashedly.
Aegon groans, “need you to peak first, while my fingers fuck open your perfect little cunt.”
She whimpers.
“Lie back for me, dearest.” He purrs, still on his knees between her trembling limbs. He pecks a kiss to her knee. “Relax.”
Y/N’s muscles are taut in anticipation of his next move, bowing off the bed when his thumbs part her lips, making room for his mouth to connect with her pearl. He teases the swollen bud with his tongue.
“Gods, Aegon.” She cries out, desperately fisting his hair in hand. Unsure if she wants to pull him closer or push him away.
Aegon hums his approval. Sweetest cunt he’s ever had. Slipping a single finger carefully into her tight heat. Feeling her walls clench at the intrusion.
The feeling is foreign to Y/N, her husband allows her to get accustomed to it before adding a second. Curling them up to coax release from her.
He laps at her cunt as she thrashes above him. Overwhelmed with sensation. Calling out for him desperately. Three digits is a stretch and Y/N does whine a bit at the intrusion but Aegon keeps her attention on his lips. Closed around her pearl and sucking until she peaks. Hugging his fingers so tightly even Aegon moans.
Y/N nudges at his head, coming down from her high, “too much.” She cries when Aegon attempts to keep her in place.
He chuckles, licking a firm strip up her slit before slinking up her boneless form. “You alright?”
“I think so,” she pants, shuttering at the lightest touch.
Aegon steals a kiss from her lips, then the tip of her nose.
“I want you.” She repeats.
The prince has been a lot of things in his life, wanted is hardly one of them.
“There might still be a bit of pain from your maidenhead,” he warns.
“Do it all at once.” Y/N encourages, feeling the tip of him nudging at her entrance.
“Tell me if it’s too much, we’ll stop.”
Y/N nods, bracing herself.
Aegon takes her mouth once more, waiting until she is fully at ease, contented in their kiss before sliding into her. There is little resistance as he bottoms out in her warmth.
“Ah.” She whimpers, it burns.
“Such a good girl,” Aegon praises, nuzzling against her cheek.
“Aegon.” Y/N paws restlessly at his back.
“Shhh,” he slides an arm behind her shoulder blades, holding her fast against the crook of his neck. Fighting to stay still.
They remain like this for a long moment before Y/N experimentally bucks her hips upward. There is still a bit of pain from the stretch, but nothing unbearable.
“Oh, my sweet girl.” Aegon admonishes, “be still until you are ready. Do not tempt me.”
“Move,” Y/N murmurs, against the shell of his ear.
He pulls out, until only the tip of him remains, thrusting back in softly. “Alright?”
Y/N nods, her head cradled against him as he begins fucking her in earnest. All the breath leaving her lungs in short puffs.
“So tight,” Aegon grunts out. “Not leaving this room until you’ve reached your peak draped over every piece of furniture. Against every wall.”
“Please.”
“Would you like that, sweetheart?”
“Yes.” Y/N is drawing near the edge again, the nip of pain from their coupling only serves to heighten the experience.
“I’ll fill you to the brim with my seed so that you might be with child on the morrow.” Aegon promises, clenching and unclenching his fingers in her dark hair. Feeling the quickening throughout his entire body. “Come apart once more for me.”
“I need you to touch me…the way you did before.” She pleads, so close to the precipice.
Allowing not an inch of space between them, Aegon snakes his free hand down to her pearl. Letting her rock against his fingers for friction.
“Fuck,” Y/N sobs, clamping down hard around his cock.
“That’s my girl,” Aegon all but growls between gritted teeth as his orgasm washes over him. “My good fucking girl.”
Y/N continues milking his length, even harder at his words. Riding out their shared high until Aegon flops down beside her, spent. He smirks devilishly; reaching down to collect the bit of his release trickling from her and forcing it back into her warmth.
He has conquered her. Or perhaps they have conquered each other.

on the chest of another
w/ astarion
cw; none but maybe mild ooc astarion
hi yeah i haven't posted in 13 months my bad enjoy
He doesn't know the last time he felt truly comfortable with another living person, he’d been turned into a blood-thirsty vampire hundreds of years ago, he slowly learnt that the people he attempts to love will wither away while he stays put, same age, same face, though he can’t see it. Astarion watches the world change and reform around him while he retains memories of those he loved before they were either taken by the cold hands of death itself or he was forced to sacrifice them to his evil lord, Cazador.
When he’d been taken, kidnapped, vampnapped off the streets of Baldur’s Gate, he’d never been so thankful, he was free, albeit trapped in a flying ship with aliens and other kidnapees, he was free from Cazador and the horrible treatment he’d endured for years upon years. He felt unrestricted until they threw him into a pod, then forcefully inserted an alien-type creature into his eye. He writhed in pain, attempting to free his arms, hands or legs to fight back, but it proved fruitless, he was stuck, and now, he had no idea what was going to happen to him.
Astarion doesn’t know how long he’d been out, unconscious but before he could collect his thoughts, he realized that the flying ship he was, unfortunately, still on, was on fire, being actively attacked.
After the ship had been knocked around a few times, set more on fire, he noticed a person, they were free, walking around like nothing was happening, or maybe looking for an exit, but they were definitely too far for anything to be heard had he banged on the front of his pod. That’s it, this is his end, he’ll probably just die when this ship inevitably crashes. Oh well, it’s a better outcome than being Cazador’s slave for the rest of his miserable life.
Astarion stirred, feeling the sun warm his body, wait, the sun? He shot up, he should be turning to ash, he lifted his hands to check he really wasn’t chipping away in the sunlight. This has to be a cruel joke, Cazador or someone of his likes toying with him, teasing him with what he misses and has missed for the past 200 years. That and maybe his own reflection. But oh dear, how he’s missed the sun. The feeling, how it makes him feel, he feels happy, momentarily, until he remembers what just happened. First, getting kidnapped, then having some kind of tadpole inserted into his brain, now, he’s in the sun. What the hell.
Then he also remembers the lone traveller that wandered free upon the ship, they’re probably around here somewhere, he better lure them out, question them.
Many weeks passed by, Astarion ended up joining forces with the traveller he almost attacked, whom he learned goes by Tav, a Githyanki, a wizard, a cleric, a Tiefling, a druid and a warlock. He’d fought in many battles, some great, some his companions dragged him to, earned himself a few new friends, shared many stories with the camp, and shared his secret. The camp was very accepting of his condition, as long as he didn’t feed on an unwilling target. Tav was a dear on the night he almost starved, he’d gotten so hungry he thought he’d be able to sneak a quick bite without Tav noticing, guess guards were still too high and they noticed as soon as he got too close at night. After exposing himself on accident, Tav had offered a small amount of their blood to aid him. Now, it’s almost nightly he’ll go find Tav in their tent or bedroll and sate his hunger. Rats and boars just don’t tide him over anymore now that he has his own food source, willing food source.
“Astarion?” Tav stirred, cracking their eyes, while searching for his.
“Yes, my dear?” He hovered over them, looking as if he was going to feed but almost backing away this time.
“I can feel you hesitating, why?” Tav had always been able to feel when he made his way into their tent for his needs, sometimes they woke but never pushed him away or forced him to take less than he needed.
“Why, I am not! I am simply… going to wait for you to go back to sleep.” He looked proud with his excuse.
“Lies. There’s another reason.”
“There is not.”
“Yes there is.”
“No-”
“I’m not going to argue this, Astarion, is there something wrong?”
He sighed, moved himself to sit by Tav’s legs and looked away, not bashfully, he was embarrassed. Tav sat up as well, but scooted closer to Astarion so he didn’t have to speak above a whisper if he did not see it fit.
“I feel greedy.” His demeanor of wit and confidence melted away as the bugs and frogs sang their night songs in the nearby pond. The night was cold, usually lonely, but he felt a sort of comfort with Tav that he hadn’t felt in years, he vowed to himself after he was turned that all mortals were never to be loved by him. They were going to die and he wasn’t. It wasn’t fair, he wanted to grow old with someone he loved deeply, he wanted more than to be someone’s pawn, a spawn of evil intent, born to do no good.
Tav did not say anything, only tilting their head to the side with empathy shining in their eyes.
“Now, I’m not asking for pity, dear, don’t give me that look.”
“I know, I was simply allowing you to continue without interrupting, but look where we are.”
“Cheeky. Fine,” He took a breath, thinking for a moment, “I haven’t been free of Cazador in two hundred years, I am unsure how to feel, how to live, frankly. I have been his slave, I’ve done his dirty work for as long as I can remember, I had no way out, I was underfed, mistreated, beaten, used, abused, everything you can think of darling, I experienced it under Cazador’s orders.” Sometime during his small rant you had moved closer, draping a blanket around his shoulders, and rested a hand on his shoulder, showing support without interrupting him. Astarion looked over to you with pain and sadness in his glossy red eyes.
“Why don’t you stay for a while, you can leave before the sun comes up, no one has to know the witty and confident Astarion we all know stayed the night in another’s tent.” Tav proposed. They moved back onto the bedding they had tucked into the most private part of their tent, allowing him to follow if he chose to. He was not pressured, not forced, but given complete free will of his actions, something he still could not fully capture the grasp of because of his past. He thought on the choices he was proposed,
“Only for a few minutes.” He decided since he doesn’t really sleep anyways, he’s an elf. He crept a few inches closer, unsure of where to go, Tav lied down and patted their chest, colour rose to Astarion’s pale cheeks, he was thankful it was dark. He took a few awkward seconds of staring at Tav before snapping out of his trance and shuffling back a few inches so his head could rest on their chest, he felt out of place, inconvenient, a burden to Tav’s sleeping. He was about to get up and thank Tav for their time before they brushed their hand through his messy curls and he stopped. His heart began beating a tad bit faster, he promised, no swore, that no mortal would make him feel this comfortable, loved, cared for, he knew what was inevitable…
After many minutes, Tav could feel his breathing slow as they continued to rake their hand through his hair, untangling pieces every so often, they watched his eyelashes flutter before his breathing fell in tempo with their own. Tav guessed it had been a while since he’d felt comfortable, given his history and all. It was true, so for the first time in many, many years, Astarion fell asleep to the sound of a heart beating in the chest of another.

Ascendant Astarion was driven by fear, but can you really blame him?
Okay so I just read the newest interview that mentioned Astarion reasoning behind his ascension was driven by fear and I thought it made sense?
Tho I don't believe that fear was the only force behind the reason of his decision to ascend, there's a longing to be alive again to enjoy everything that the world has to offer, the need for certainty and also to protect his loved ones (when he has a love interest)
But let's talk about this fear part, there are people (even the companions) who expected that 'he should have known better' or 'shouldnt even think about ascension' and sees this fear in the recent interview as something that is so horrid but here's the thing.
Tumblr media
"You are right to be afraid." I mean DUH obviously it makes sense. Astarion lives in a very dangerous world where countless undead risen from their graves thanks to necromancer toying with life and death, there are bandits everywhere, monsters, evil gods who never failed to make life even more miserable than ever and even the supposedly good aligned god can be so awful at times, etc etc.
The party that he traveled with and himself were infected with worms that would eat their brain and transformed them into a living husk, the absolute cult and the dead three were on their tail, angry devils, Cazador wanted him back and not to mention the Githyanki and their lich queen wanted them dead as well for what happened with the prism
Even during act 3 where they were supposedly close to victory. The victory was not set in stone yet, nothing is certain and something could have gone wrong. They could have died or even worse!
Not to mention he's a man who was tormented for 200 hundred years. He was stripped of everything that he had and even his own reflection, reduced to catched rats to sustain himself.
Can you really blame him for wanting to seek a way out from Cazador's torment, the hunger for blood and the indignity that he suffered for so long?
Also it would be harder to convince him to not ascend if Tav or Durge romanced him. Because now he's not just afraid for his own safety and his future but also his lover. The only person whom he ever love and genuinely love him back in 200 years (also not ending up as a victim for Cazador)
Most people would have killed him when they found that he's a vampire and infected with an Illithid parasite. Most people would have abandoned him
Tav/Durge was the only light in his life after years of living in darkness and torment, you can't really blame him for wanting to keep this light from being snuffed out by untimely death
And if that means sacrificed 7000 souls that he already damned anyway (undead like vampire wouldn't be accepted by good aligned gods in the after life, not sure about evil gods but most deities most won't accept them) so be it
I don't see this fear behind his decision as something that is objectively awful? I mean it is a natural respond anyone would have if they were in his shoes
Then you might ask "If Astarion loves Tav or Durge that much why he insisted on turning them into a vampire? And break up if they refused?"
Because he was overwhelmed by his beating heart/ his renewed sense, the high from his power and he's also insecure. At that point in act 3 he expected Tav and Durge to stand by his side no matter what
Because they were the only person who didn't kill the parasite infested vampire spawn at the beach, who loves him anyway despite the face he was a man with nothing to his name, who were willing to sacrifice 7000 souls and killed the Gur for him!
Ascended Astarion didn't want THAT special person to be taken by early death or a fate worse than death
He needed the reassurance that his love would be safe and no gods nor fate will take them away
If they refused to be an immortal vampire then they were as good as sealed their fate to death. Astarion didn't want to face that heartbreak
The thing that I don't agree with the interview is that the interpretation that ascension sent him to a horrible place? It was kinda vague? Like worse place when? During or after the ascension? Because this cannot apply after the ascension since I have taken so many screenshot and recording of ascendant astarion and I didn't see him feeling miserable about his fate. He was happy that the hunger gone and he could see his reflection again
Post final battle? The epilogue? After the epilogue party? This cannot be applied to all people, all route, all Tav/Durge and Astarion in general because there's variations. I mean you might see ascended Astarion as a bit lonely because he doesn't end up with anyone but in my Tav's universe he has a consort who stay by his side and their relationship is still going strong because my Tav is aligned with him

1863rd hsy before kdj came was dead set on casting the world into eternal sleep and getting her wish at the cost of not only yjh but also all her companions as well. to end the story with quiet, empty rest.
then kdj appears and sees the world, sees it as even better than his own, sees how knw was saved and grown and looked after and sees the story hsy has written. and he appreciates it. it is more perfect than his own run. he admits it himself.
and still he decides to change it. change the ending as only a reader would.
because despite everything, there is still a voice in yjh, one only kdj can hear, and it says, ever so quietly:
"i want to live."
and he does. the man this worldline had painstakingly shaped into a willing villain, who lost everything and everyone, and kdj held him and gave him a dream, a new story, a future and wish and hope. kdj destroys hsy's plans and he does so selfishly, pretty much willlingly dooming the world for just one man. dooming himself too, just for a chance of one man being happy, of reaching his ending and epilogue. of living.
and hsy is changed too just by that. she stays behind despite all of her previous convictions, willingly letting herself remain in this shitty story and lead her companions towards the ending.
thus begins a cycle of endless salvation. i will save you. i will save you and, perhaps by saving you, i will save myself too. an ever so selfish plea. this type of lonely, world destroying salvation. to save in order to save yourself. to become reliant on another as as one's entire salvation.
but in the end, 1863rd hsy disappears with a silent farewell, a broken unfilled wish and unspoken words. and kdj himself shows the powers and follies of such devotion. the pain of salvation, the beauty and cruelty and selfishness of the double bladed sacrifice.
hsy and kdj are matching reflections of each other's virtues and vices. their strengths and their weaknesses. reader and author beyond the fourth wall, pearing down into the story they both equally create. and they pave the way to an ending never before seen, hoping that it'll at least save someone else but never themself. kdj loves and the world trembles before it.
kdj's epilogue becomes an eternal dream and a quiet, empty rest. and there is not even a quiet little voice that says, "i want to live", anymore.
but hsy writes again, and kimcom writes with her this time, together. yjh goes off into space but not alone. he who was once 41st yjh, and biyoo who was once 41st sys, they go onto their at last adventure. and he becomes a reader, an editor, a writer, and finds always himself.
and in the end, the adevnture of kim dokja's company finishes with a reunion of everyone and a future where they can build a wish someone they loved once made. kdj had saved them and they have also saved themselves. perhaps it is enough.
and thus a new story begins.

Since requests are open can I request a f!Paladin Ilmater Tav with Astarion, preferably with a happy ending for them both. (She joined the church after having seen abuse firsthand no thanks to her dad)
One more devoted Tav, now in the domain of Ilmater!
Ilmater, also known as the Crying God, is a patron of opressed, suffering and persecuted.  He is a willing sufferer, bearing the pain of others to spare them from it, and it is said that if he had his way he would do so for all the suffering in the world. His symbol is a pair of white hands bound with red cord. More about Ilmater Church of Ilmater

Your oath is self-sacrifice.
Abused and beaten by your father, assaulted more than once, you became pregnant at the age of 14.
A drunken healer terminated the pregnancy, but you nearly died from blood loss and injuries.
Afraid to face the consequences, the healer and your father left you to die in the streets, hoping no one would ever find you.
Whether it was pure luck or Ilmater's will is unknown, but you were found by a passerby who brought the bleeding and dying child to the local Ilmater monastery.
The Reverend Father took care of you and made sure you felt at home.
You have grown up among the Ilmateri, helping the poor and unfortunate, in places plagued by poverty, plague, or war.
You know much about the suffering of this world and have an open heart.
As you reach adulthood, you gain a vision.
Ilmater, The Crying God himself, appears to you in human form and presses his bleeding hand to your chest.
"Protect the less fortunate in my name. Choose your oath, paladin."
The only thing you manage to whisper is "self-sacrifice."
You tell the Reverend Father of your vision and receive his blessing to leave the monastery.
You wander the Swords Coast, living up to your faith and vows.
But one day, you are kidnapped by the Mindflayers.
Your oath dictates its own will. Save your friends from the Tadpoles, destroy the Absolute.
You are selfless and caring to all your companions. Especially Astarion, for he may have suffered the most.
You forgive him, care for him, trust him.
Astarion can't get enough of you - you are his knight in shining armor who has finally come to save him from his misery.
Thanks to him, you are learning to think about your own good, too.
Maybe choosing comfort isn't so bad.
Or thinking for yourself for a change.
But when the time comes to save the world, you make your choice.
You have to sacrifice yourself - to let them turn you into a Mind Flayer. You are a martyr, a paladin.
Astarion rushes towards you and holds you back.
He begs you not to do this.
For the first time in two centuries, he has something. He has a future. He has you.
"I have an oath to Ilmater! I must sacrifice myself!"
"Where was your god when you were raped by your own father? Where was Ilmater when I was beaten and tortured for two hundred years? Ilmater was the first human god I ever prayed to! And to him, I prayed for decades! And he never listened!"
"He did listen to you, Astarion! He... sent me."
A realization comes to you.
Astarion is the embodiment of all the suffering a mortal can endure. Everything that could be bad has already happened to him.
You are a savior.
But you're not saving the world, you're saving a man.
And the whole world he is.
Karlach willingly takes your place because it's the only way for her to survive.
You leave the city hand in hand with Astarion - he wants to see the world, and you know there are many people who need your help.
Over the years, you notice that Astarion's attitude towards Ilmater and the whole idea of "saving the less fortunate" changes.
Sometimes he prays with you.
He has read all the sacred texts dedicated to the The Rack-Broken Lord.
He won't admit it, but he recognizes himself in the image of Ilmater.
You, too, have changed.
You are more selfish now, for you need to save yourself before you save anyone else.

Dating Yandere Brother Day Would Include:
Tumblr media
As a Yandere he feels a deep love and connection with his target, to the point where he would go to extreme and sometimes irrational lengths to protect and express his love for you. He can become very jealous and possessive of you, feeling a strong sense of ownership over you and not wanting to share you with anyone else. He can also at times become very obsessive and controlling, trying to control every aspect of your life in order to make you reliant on him. He may also display feelings of hatred towards anyone who stands in the way of his love for you, feeling they are a threat to the relationship.
He is a deranged obsessive and possessive yandere. He is always watching you, waiting, waiting to see if you give any signs of showing interest in anyone else but him. If he senses a hint of a crush towards someone else he may become very jealous and violent. But if you are his, and only his, he will be the sweetest, most tender and loving companion you could ever have.
As a yandere, he is intensely loyal. He is driven by a strong desire to protect and care for the person he loves, even at the expense of others. However, this loyalty can often turn into delusional possessiveness, leading him to act in extreme and irrational ways. This could include acts such as stalking, harassing, or even inflicting harm on the object of his affection. His goal is always to make the one he loves is in fact love with him and him alone, no matter what it takes.
He is a very intense and obsessive yandere, with a dark and controlling personality. He likes to keep you all to himself, isolating you and controlling your life. He will go to great lengths to ensure that you remain his, including violence and threats. He is highly possessive and won't tolerate any competition, even in the form of friends or family. He is completely crazed over his love and will do anything for your affection and attention.
He is also a very highly jealous yandere, always suspicious and vigilant of anyone who might be a threat to his relationship. No one can come close to you, and if he thinks they are, he will act to protect your relationship and eliminate anyone who challenges it even if they aren't. He may even go to extremes to prevent you from leaving or talking to anyone else.
His obsession is not only about controlling you but also about ensuring your safety and well-being. He will protect you from every conceivable threat, real or imagined. He will be very possessive and jealous, and will not tolerate any other relationship with you.
Despite his busy schedule, he will always make time for you. He will go to great lengths to prioritize his love, even if it means rescheduling or canceling work responsibilities or plans. He may even resort to drastic measures such as calling in sick or creating a crisis in order to spend more time with you. Nothing will ever keep him from you, and he is willing to sacrifice anything in order to be with you.
No one would ever be able to keep him away from you, and he would not tolerate anyone trying to interfere with his relationship or keep you from him. He would not hesitate to resort to intimidation, threats, and even violence to protect his claim on you. No one would ever get in the way of his love and him and get away with it. He is completely devoted to you, and nothing will ever stop him from being with you.
As a yandere, he does not respect the boundaries of your interest, and he will not hesitate to violate you in order to maintain control and possession over you. He will use manipulation, coercion, and force to keep you by his side, and will not allow you to have an independent life or relationships outside of him. He may even go so far as to inflict harm or pain on you in order to ensure your loyalty and obedience. The fear of losing his love is a powerful and controlling force, and he will do whatever it takes to keep you as his.
He is affectionate with you, but only in the context of the twisted and obsessive relationship that he has with you. He may show fondness and affection towards you, but this is not a healthy or genuine expression of love. Rather, it is a manipulation tactic used to keep you by his side and to control and influence you. He does not truly value or respect the feelings or needs that you have, and will only show you affection when it is advantageous to him.
He may have a strong desire to marry you and make you his forever. He may be possessive and controlling even before marriage but it worsens during planning, trying to ensure that you are committed to him, and doesn't have interactions with other potential suitors or romantic interests. But once you are married, his sense of possession will only deepen, and his behaviors to ensure that you are his may become even more obsessive and violent.
He can also be a very jealous yandere, always suspicious and vigilant of anyone who might be a threat to his relationship. No one can come close to his love or breathe the same air as you, and if he thinks you are, he will act to protect your relationship and eliminate anyone who challenges it.
He can also be very highly manipulative as a yandere, using lies, flattery, and seduction to get his way. He will use your weaknesses and desires to get what he wants, and he won't hesitate to hurt you emotionally or physically if you resist or try to leave. He can be extremely possessive, wanting control over every aspect of your life. Lastly, he can also be unpredictable and volatile, with sudden mood swings and outbursts of rage or jealousy.
He doesn't handle rejection well, and if he feels rejected by you, he can become very manipulative and even violent. He will do whatever it takes to get the love and attention he wants, including lies, deceit, and even blackmail. He is willing to hurt and even kill anyone who gets in the way of his relationship with you. He can be very persistent in pursuing you, and he will never give up until he gets what he wants.
He is extremely deceitful when you first meet, using his knowledge to use flattery, sweet talk, kindness, and seduction to lure you in, and then use fear, blackmail, and guilt to keep you with him after you start dating. He is skilled at getting you to do what he wants, and if you ever try to leave or resist, he will use any means necessary to keep you in his grasp.
He can be very calculating as a yandere, constantly searching for ways to keep you under his control. He will play on your feelings and emotions to make you depend on him, and create situations in which you are vulnerable and in need of his help and support. He may use guilt and fear to keep you close to him and manipulate you into doing what he wants.
He can be very charming and flirty when he wants to be. He knows how to use his looks and words to sway you and make you believe that you are the most important thing in his world.
When you disobey or hurt him in any way, he may use a variety of methods to punish you. This might include psychological methods, like guilt trips or gaslighting, to make you feel bad for whatever you did. He may also use physical methods, like causing you pain or harm or threatening to harm people or things you care about. He also may use social tactics, like spreading lies or rumors and trying to isolate you from your friends or family.
As a yandere, he is very affectionate and loving towards you when you comply with what he wants. He will shower you with praise, adoration, and affection, and treat you like a spoiled prince or princess. He may also use rewards, like gifts or special treatment, to motivate you to continue to please him. In general, he likes to keep you dependent on him for your affection and attention.
If you were his love, life with him would be a mix of excitement, passion, and intensity. He would keep things spicy and intense, always keeping you on your toes and keeping you interested. He would be very possessive and controlling, always wanting you to himself and keeping you close. He would demand complete loyalty and obedience from you and do anything to keep you from leaving or being with anyone else. He would shower you with affection, attention, and praise, and treat you like a crown jewel.
As a yandere, his kinks may range from the somewhat innocent and romantic, like cuddling and sweet talking, to the more dark and taboo, like sadism and domination. He may have an obsession with control and possession and get pleasure from imposing his will on you. He may also enjoy the thrill of the hunt and get excitement from stalking and playing mind games with you to get you to submit to him.
Would also be fond of punishment and rewarding his partner according to your behavior. He will be more inclined towards punishing those who disobey his rules or are being disobedient to him. On the flip side, he will reward you for showing loyalty and submission to him.
He would also be partial to some more hardcore elements of BDSM. He would enjoy the use of handcuffs, restraints, and other implements to dominate his partner even more. He would also like to participate in impact play such as spanking and whipping and may even incorporate some light bondage into the mix. He would be a very experimental lover, so he would want to try to do different things to see what you enjoy the most.
He would also enjoy a partner with a very kinky and active libido. He would like a partner who is eager to try new things and experiment in bed. He would also enjoy a partner who is vocal about your desires and isn’t afraid to take control at times as well.
He is very open-minded when it comes to the pleasures of this world. He doesn't judge the way other people desire their happiness, provided it doesn't hurt anyone who does not deserve it.

Lae'zel -
Lae'zel tends to keep to her own affairs, so stays distant, but watching the Blade of Frontiers gain horns from the source of his commitment and power over what was essentially a mislead, a lie?? The thought of Vlaakith doing the same to her, makes her sick. But inspired her all the same, seeing him take it in stride. She always spoke highly of him as a warrior. Shadowheart gained Lae'zels sympathies as well after the fall of Ketheric. Both Wyll and Shadowheart never have to worry about their weapons being maintained and sharpened. Lae'zel gladly allows them both as much time to relax as she can.
Shadowheart -
Knowing she and Astarion have such similar stories makes the vampire seem a lot more...human, for lack of a better term. She understands that all his avoidance and irritation with immediate kindness isn't out of just being mean- he doesn't want to come off as vulnerable or easy to take advantage of ever again. She goes out of her way to make comments so people know the kindness is begrudging or hesitant, so people don't get that idea. He doesn't know she does that. She won't tell him either. And as much as they butt heads, Lae'zel would have a cleric at her side at a moments notice if she asked.
Wyll -
Watching a man like Gale (someone Wyll looked up to given his mastery of magic without need for a devil's pact) be told by his goddess his old lover- turn so cold as to ask for his death? Nothing makes him more hopeless. Wyll tried to take his mind off it by asking Gale about his home, asking him about plans, making sure he has them. Because Wyll won't let him sacrifice himself. On top of that, he feels awful for Karlach. She inspires him so much knowing what she went through in Avernus and survived, still giggling and dancing. As a lover of dance, he teaches her ballroom and formal dance, in turn, she teaches him house and breakdancing.
Karlach -
There is nobody she feels for in the camp quite like Astarion. She cannot stand the utter hopelessness, anger and betrayal in his eyes and voice whenever he speaks of Cazador, and how willing he is for help from a devil of all people. She knows that desperation. It hurts to see. She sh!t talks Gortash and Zariel with him, so he has an excuse to talk about wiping the floor with Cazador. She also likes watching Gale get excited whenever she asks him a question about- anything really. She hates when his big brown eyes get all sad, so she'll keep him occupied talking about weave and potioncraft and old scripture.
Gale -
While it doesn't bother Wyll so much, Gale is a mommas boy, and can't imagine not having her. He makes plans for his mother to meet Wyll. She makes amazing brownies, and every person should be able to enjoy a mothers baking. (Wyll loves Morena and visits her often after act 3. She loves him for keeping her son safe.) Other than this, watching Lae'zel and Shadowheart lose the admiration of their Gods hurts him personally. He knows that fall. Goes out of his way to make sure they don't lose hope. "Who's to say you can't still have a dragon? There's plenty around. Bigger. Scarier. Probably also hates mind-flayers. Perfect for a woman of your demeanour." He assures her. / "If its any consolation, I like the new hair, Shadowheart. Between you and me, you look much better with white hair than he does" He jokes.
Astarion -
As a man used to fixing his things (since they're all he's got) he goes out of his way to make sure Karlachs things are all in good shape. Clive gets torn at some point or other, and he's pulling out his fabrics and sewing set and wordlessly returns him to Karlachs tent, much to her relief. Neither of them have a lot- so of course he's going to maintain what she has. She deserves it. Also, Shadowheart telling her story hits home for Astarion a lot. Being vulnerable, scared and otherwise an easy target- and having your whole life turned upside down because someone took advantage of it? He becomes a lot more talkative with her. Even if it's just over wine and complaining. Oh, and of course nothing makes him happier than watching Lae'zel turn her back on Vlaakith. Go her.
Halsin -
Halsin has nothing but praise for Wyll. His endless kindness, his patience with the teifling children, his level-headedness in crisis- he is the leader Halsin wishes he was. Halsin also sees Astarions hunger for power. Halsin might not speak of it often, but he's had at least 3 years of what Astarion's suffered for 200, and he knows how much powerlessness feels like vulnerability. He let's the vampire know he's got a bear at his back, even if its met with an eye roll.

I know I'm historically king of Morty's perspective, but I've been doing a lot of thinking lately, and the ending of 'Rick Potion No. 9' (a sequence that always affects me deeply) combines two unique perspectives.
(TW for gore)
Tumblr media
The first is, of course, Morty's experience. The effect of burying his own dead body and abandoning his original family is very present.
It always gives me chills when he walks through the home, observing his 'new' family. A lot of moments in the show can be called a 'turning point' in terms of tone, but this moment in particular seems like a true turning point in terms of who Morty is becoming-- especially when we get Rick's backstory.
On the other hand, I've also challenged myself to take in Rick's perspective, separate from how this choice impacts Morty.
Not too far after this incident-- and still at the beginning of everything--Rick is not only willing to sacrifice himself, but he makes the decision to do so. In 'A Rickle in Time', it wasn't even a question for Rick as to who was going to leave that situation alive. He gave Morty that collar to save his grandson-- ready to die for the bloodline of the person who robbed him of everything.
I keep thinking about this moment:
Tumblr media
In the past, Rick's apathetic expression and body language have made me nauseous on Morty's behalf. Honestly, they still do. Just look…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Imagine being a 14-year-old boy and staring down at your own dead body. Cradling him in your arms. Realizing, deep down, that even though he was you... he isn't you. His parents’ baby is dead. You're alive. You've as good as killed him-- actively replaced him-- and sentenced your whole family to death. Over your shoulder, your drunk grandfather looks on, no visible emotion but irritation that you're not working fast enough. He's your only friend. He shoves you. Something doesn’t feel right. Your hands hurt. Your arms ache. The clothes you're wearing aren't yours. As you drag that limp little boy into the grave you dug for him, he stares up at you just as emotionless.
Then, imagine being an elderly man jaded by witnessing the death of your daughter, and your only real companion is a 14-year-old you basically just met. Imagine looking down at an exact replica of what would happen if you failed again-- broken, bloody, limbs twisted at unnatural angles, lifeless glassy eyes burning a hole through you. Imagine punishing yourself by staring, not letting yourself show you care. You're doing the kid a favor, so you swallow a strange sickening feeling he's going to turn out just like you.
I'm not always the best at humanizing Rick's experiences in s1, simply because of the way they were initially intended before later contextualization. Because of this, it's been difficult for me to reframe this episode in my mind, but I think I've finally gotten somewhere.
I don't know. With 'A Rickle in Time' considered, I can't help but feel a connection. I assume seeing Morty's corpse wasn't just traumatic for Morty, and we know Rick loves to retraumatize himself as punishment.
I just don't buy that this man is the same guy who didn't feel anything with all that going down:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Killing other Ricks? Probably nothing to him. Mortys? Kids?
Sure, bro.
These motherfuckers are all about that trauma bond.

time for more Ji Yan yapping— pls beware of #wuwa spoilers, even tho i will not go into much detail regarding the whole story and quests, but specific mentions will be present... so caution is advised, regardless
Tumblr media
After my previous post, I was asked to elaborate on the matter of why I made Ji Yan so young— The answer is rather simple: it was literally written in the game and spoken out by characters directly, so unless you skip story and cutscenes, you will not miss it.
Will start from the fact that was delivered directly from the man himself. Ji Yan, in his companion quest, mentioned that he was appointed to the role of General at the age of 20.
In his character story, it's written that he is the youngest General in Midnight Rangers' history. Which also implies that Geshu Lin (previous General) is older than Ji Yan.
YangYang also stated that he was assigned to this position after the Battle beneath Crescent. We do not have the exact time frame, but I assume it was short after and not years after.
Narrowing down the timeline, TaoQi explained that the Battle beneath Crescent took place 3 years ago.
Now I will go further with his age and point out other certain things.
In his companion quest, it's again mentioned that Ji Yan was a part of temporary Gulpuff Relay team 10 years ago that set a record, which remains still unbeaten. It also described him as "new recruit". Concluding with everything said above, Ji Yan joined the ranks of Midnight Rangers as medic at the age of 13.
Again in his character story it's written that he was born into the family with a medical background and became his mother's assistant at the age of 10. He still keeps the pill case, disguised as a gourd and it has a lot of sentimental value for him.
Tumblr media
There're also some things I want to mention that are related to his story. I see a lot of ppl being upset that his companion quest did not tell them anything 'bout Geshu Lin and ngl I'm like 🤡 that quest isn't 'bout him, but Ji Yan as a character and person, it showcased us his second side. Before we only saw his General side, and the quest showed us his human side, with his own fears and regrets.
In regard to Geshu Lin, despite the drastic and extreme measure with which the previous General commanded the army, Ji Yan still holds respect towards him. They are indeed polar opposites in handling the same position, where Geshu Lin commands "victory at all cost" and Ji Yan aims for "victory with minimal loses". Both cope with the burden of command in different ways - the first willing to sacrifice others to achieve victory, the latter will sacrifice self. NGL their conversations in both Ji Yan's trailer and main story gave me a lot to think 'bout— And then there's this piece from his character story.
Day after day, year after year, he fought in vain until he was the sole survivor on a desolate battlefield. The Tacet Discords transformed into his fallen comrades, encircling and closing in on him. Despite being known for his calm and decisive nature, few were aware of the nightmares that would sometimes jolt him awake, haunted by the voices of the dead. As the general, it was Ji Yan's duty to safeguard not only the borders, but also the entirety of his nation. Every move he made and every plan he enacted carried immense responsibility and consequence. This is why he seems to be always frowning, thinking, and planning ahead. One day, perhaps, he will finally turn around and answer those questions from the dead. He fights for the living, and for the deceased.
Ji Yan is very compassionate, he takes every loss personally and one of the major displays of that is Captain Bei Wang. He was a Midnight Ranger, a friend and last patient, and his death pushed Ji Yan to join the battlefield. And the wind spear he wields now, was modelled after that Bei Wang wielded.
Another meaningful connection to Ji Yan is Mortefi. From the latter's profile we find out that he was saved by Ji Yan and referred to the Academy, in return he provides own help to Midnight Rangers and helped solve a lot of problems. Mortefi has also anger-management issues that can cause Overclocking (overuse or loss of control over the Forte; causes can be emotional and phycological stress, bursts of energy), the scales we see on his body are the result of it. Unlike Ji Yan, whose frequency displays high stability with a low risk of Overclocking. I also do like their communications, 'cause Ji Yan does sound softer around Mortefi and he even smiles, and Mortefi sounds playful around Ji Yan. Considering the general opinion of ppl on Mortefi and him often sounding almost arrogant, it's v peculiar change. And he also doesn't use the title "General", when talking to or 'bout JiYan, which indicates further at their close relationship.

Joongdok Modern AU
Yoo Joonghyuk was a famous pro-gamer who rarely got time to come back home. After months of not seeing his family, he finally had the chance to go back to see his sister. However, when the two met up, Yoo Mia kept talking about this one novel - TWS. She even pestered him to give it a try. The novel apparently was quite famous as it had its own webtoon and animation adaption.
“You wouldn’t regret it, I swear..” Yoo Mia said.
With that, Yoo Joonghyuk decided to give the novel a go. After all, he wanted to have something in common with his younger sister, who he can only see once or twice a year. At first, he thought that the novel was typical like those of the same genre but as he progressed through the story, he found himself slowly getting attached to the characters. He was particularly fond of the character DKOS who were always willing to sacrifice himself for the others. His companionship with the main character - Yoo Yoonghan was admirable too. Speaking of the main character, the man was somehow weirdly familiar to him.
As if he was possessed, Yoo Joonghyuk managed to finish the more than 3000-chapter long novel in less than 2 weeks. It was a considerable feat considering the fact that he wasn’t that much of a reader himself. For nearly 2 weeks, his head was filled with the scenarios of TWS and that one particular character - DKOS. Yoo Joonghyuk felt a deep connection to the character to the point that he cried his eyes out when DKOS decided to sacrifice his life for his companions’ happiness at the end of the novel. In a daze, he tried to search up everything about DKOS on the internet, buy every single merchandise available and read every fan theories about the character.
Much to his dismay, the fandom didn’t really appreciate DKOS since the man was only considered as a ‘minor’ character. They were far more obsessed with the relationship between the main character and the female lead. Yoo Joonghyuk, on the other side, found those characters boring. The fact that people could overlook DKOS for the cheap romantic relationship upset him quite a lot.
As he was feeling flustered by that fact, Yoo Joonghyuk decided to rant on his private SNS account. Previously, he only used it to upload pictures of his cooking and small daily stories but now, he also made posts about DKOS. Sometimes it was about how great a character DKOS was, sometimes it was him complaining that the author should have given the character a happy ending. No one really paid attention to his posts, but he felt content just by being able to express his feelings for the character.
All of a sudden, a user named “Dokja” started to comment on his posts. At first, the person questioned his analysis of DKOS, wondering if the author really portrayed the man as such a noble character. Feeling offended, Yoo Joonghyuk did his best to defend his favorite character. It took them a lot of comments and even direct messages to settle the score, but before he knew it, the two of them had become online friend. The user provided him with a lot of useful insight regarding the novel and he wasn’t obsessed with the main characters like the others in the fandom. Yoo Joonghyuk enjoyed talking to the other, which didn’t happen much considering his character.
Kim Dokja was a writer first and foremost. While he wouldn’t consider himself to be famous, one of his works - TWS - was gaining attention nowadays. While Kim Dokja was grateful that his work finally got noticed, he didn’t expect people to label it as a “romance novel”. The novel was an action one with romance being the subplot but somehow, the relationship between the main character and the female lead really blew up.
“Can’t believe people find romance written by a virgin interesting.”
Han Sooyoung would always laugh at him whenever he complained about it.
One day, when he was scrolling through SNS using his private account, Kim Dokja came across a particular fan of his. The fan seemed to pay no attention to the main characters, instead they had taken liking to a minor character - DKOS. The character was only created for the sake of plot convenience, so Kim Dokja was surprised to see someone actually adore the man. He tried to leave a comment in the post to test the other’s reaction and just like he expected, that fan defended DKOS as if their lives were on line. They spent a lot of time arguing and debating but Kim Dokja didn’t really feel uncomfortable talking to the other. When he took a look at the fan’s account, he saw a lot of cooking pictures and short posts acting like a diary. Their wordings were curt but affectionate at the same time. Somehow, Kim Dokja imagined the other person as a quiet-looking girl who loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. It may sound absurd but kdj felt for a girl who he never met before.
“What the actual fuck Kim Dokja? I thought you had a crush on Supreme King?”
Han Sooyoung stared at him in disbelief as he tried to ask her for advices.
“No, YJH is like my idol, you know? Who would want to date their idol?”
YJH was a famous pro-gamer who kdj had adored since forever. The protagonist of TWS was actually loosely based on the man too. “You are a simp, Kim Dokja.” Han Sooyoung gave him a judging look when she knew of the fact.
“Anyway, you are telling me that you like a girl who you have only chatted with? And you aren’t even sure that they are a girl?”
Han Sooyoung said as she mindlessly chew on the sunflower seeds.
“I know it sounds stupid but-“
“What if she was a middle-aged man who likes to pretend as one of those high school girls? Kim Dokja, the internet is full of shit.”
His friend deadpanned. She had a point. Kim Dokja didn’t really know know much about the other person except for the fact that they liked DKOS. The two of them mainly talked about TWS with some other topics in between. For example, Kim Dokja did know that the girl had a sister and she adored her a lot despite not being able to spend much time with her.
He knew how the girl may sound rude but she was actually caring for those around her. Or how she loved murim dumplings and never ate food cooked by others. She had never made Kim Dokja feel uncomfortable and that alone was enough for Kim Dokja to fall for her.
After much consideration, Kim Dokja decided to ask the girl for an offline meetup. At first, she hesitated, saying that her schedule might not allow for it. However, after checking her work schedule again, she finally agreed. For the first time in his 28-year-life, Kim Dokja had a meetup with a girl. It wasn’t a date per se, but he still felt nervous nonetheless.
Kim Dokja arrived at the meeting point 30 minutes earlier so he still had some time left to prepare for his heart. As he was trying to calm his heart, a message arrived.
"Sorry, something comes up at work. I will arrive 30 minutes later than our agreed time."
The message was from the other girl. Kim Dokja, being the coward he was, actually felt relieved for having more time to collect himself. As an effort to stay calm, Kim Dokja decided to open Star Stream to watch YJH. Today, the man was having a match and were it not for the meetup, Kim Dokja would have stayed at home and watched it from start to finish. By the moment Kim Dokja entered the stream, the match had already ended with YJH's team being the winner. The man was now answering an interview but he somehow kept looking at his pocket watch as if he was short on time. Did he have something to do after the match?
Not really interested in the interview, Kim Dokja decided to watch clips from the match. YJH, as amazing as ever, led his team to victory effortlessly. With a calm face and collected voice, the man gave out orders and directions for his team members to follow through. Kim Dokja had to admit, a focused YJH was really hot.
As he was too immersed in watching YJH's clips, Kim Dokja didn't notice a figure approaching him. The man, dressed in full black, kept looking up and down at his phone. After a while, he approached the spot where Kim Dokja was standing.
"Hello, are you "Dokja"?"
Kim Dokja recognized his private's user name. He felt his heartbeat quicken but something didn't feel right. The voice was way lower than that of a young woman.
 "Hello?"
The other person asked him again, this time with a hint of annoyance. Wait, why did it feel so familiar.
"Yes, I'm Dokja. You are Murim, ri-"
As Kim Dokja looked up, the sight of someone who he couldn't be more familiar with filled his eyes. It was the same man who he just saw in the screen moments ago. His phone might still be playing footage of the man going through a particularly hard match. The one stood in front of him was none other than YJH himself.
"I'm Murim, nice to meet you, Dokja."
Yoo Joonghyuk, with his ethereal-looking face, gave Kim Dokja a small smile. Oh no, what had he gotten himself into? Kim Dokja felt like he might faint right at the spot. Who would have thought the fan obsessing over a minor character of his novel was in fact the idol he had been admiring for a long time? Someone please tell him that this was just a dream.
