Designs for adult versions of the clone cadets in bad batch as Rebellion leaders
The first weird thing I noticed was that they kept specifying that tbb are "defective CTs", whereas iirc most other clones leave out the "ct" part. additionally, "special training" must have been a reasonably expected occurrence for them, since it was used as the Hemlock-jungle-lab excuse. they're also, oddly enough, the only three survivors from a base full of both cadets and adult clones. and finally, all three of them have noticeably different face shapes.
so my guess for their origins is that they're the results of the kaminoans trying to replicate tbb's mutations in a commando template, making them all specialized CC command cadets. From what we've seen of them, they don't seem to have quite as prominent abilities as say, wrecker or hunter, but are definitely above average to have survived that long.
Anyways the mini-backstory for them here is that they end up joining the rebellion around 5 years later (assuming that they're 6/12 and 8/16 in tbb s3, they would be 11/22 and 13/26 here) as the lead squad for the clone rebel cell after rex, wolffe, and gregor retire (and echo and cody are presumably dead).
Bonus: I originally had Deke's hair as dyed blond, but then he started looking too much like Rex (esp with the jaig eyes and partial arc armor) so I changed it back
edit: sorry i forgot to tag spoilers at first! it has since been fixed

i know its like fun to incorporate stuff ccs do into the characters but when you guys just say shit that has nothing to do with the characters and is just a thing the cc said about themselves i feel like you need to take a step back and consider what about it you actually enjoy. like you guys know you can just watch the ccs and not incorporate every single thing as a headcanon right

Season 6 feels kinda screwy with relationships and I am praying it’s handled well bc I don’t want characters ruined,,, please for Jay and Nya
Sidenote: Cole is the best of all time, something about him screams boyfriend antics,, he is single handedly carrying my mudshock agenda through season 6.

My Dad tested positive (again) this morning. He started feeling poorly yesterday and as he’s the kind of person who barely noticed a headache when he was having aural migraines bad enough to send him to ER, I scampered off the couch and out of the house pretty damn quick. Based on the timeline, I’m pretty sure it wasn’t me - I’ve coughed and sneezed more since getting home from vacation but we were all sure it was just allergies and I’ve tested negative. We’re currently pretty sure the culprit is the 24 hours spent at his 55th (?) high school reunion over the weekend. My Mom has surrendered to the fact that she’s going to test positive by tomorrow. So I’m sitting here in The Annex dithering. 500 yards away and now banned from entering my parents’ house.
(And I’m mad because the embossing power is not adhering correctly so I trashed at least a half dozen cards and that means I have to redesign my Rosh Hashanah cards and now they’re probably going to arrive late. But that’s a completely different issue.)

Wednesday Words
Good Things Can Come From Mistakes #1
Cell division is a glorious, microscopic ballet.
A dancer’s silhouette is revealed from an artful smoke machine; so too does our genetic material coalesce from the organised chaos of the nucleus into chromosomes.
Diligently, they twin themselves, then separate, pulled to opposite ends of the stage; and then the stage itself splits in two, and you don’t see that shit in Swan Lake.
But the most miraculous part of all this is how much it gets fucked up and you still end up with a human being at the end of it.
Only now you’ve got red hair. You’re welcome.
Good Things Can Come From Mistakes #2
A weed is any plant that grows where you don’t want it to grow. It’s a context-specific term. A mistake is to do something when you intended something else.
An error is a computer telling you to go fuck yourself, because you’re speaking gibberish (as far as the computer is concerned).
What do you get when you combine these things?
Well, I got a sarcastic cyborg plant person, and after 50 magical years of marriage, I don’t regret a single thing.
I have a Wednesday night writing group. We do prompts, and drabbles, and it's a good time. Everyone comes out with something so different! They're short snippets - the drabbles are only supposed to be 100 words (eventually I got there!), a warm-up for the later prompt. I've decided to post my favourites, because why not? This one was more recent, and I got two in the time limit that I liked.

Wow... a Krillin fan? That's a rarity, but I'm intrigued by what drew you to him aside from him being just a guy in a batshit world.
I'm glad what I make intrigues you. If I like sonething, I end up doing my best to understand it. Since Krillin is probably my favorite anime character, I do my best to get a good understanding of the how & why he acts, thinks, what motivates him, ect.
But, Krillin and other human characters being guys in a crazy world of deadly aliens and gods is interesting. So I think stories from their perspective are far more interesting than the perspective of an alien since we are humans.
