A/N: I love these boys so much and I thought of this instead of going to sleep all week. I really hope y'all like my idea for Echo's especially. He deserves the galaxy and more.❤️ (I also had extra ideas that are definitely still in character but probably "anachronistic", so I just labeled them bonus. I mean we have finally 'caf'' aka coffee in SW canon, so maybe there's hope for hoodies 🤭)

Hunter

He would get a tattoo of your name

Hunter did not need his heightened senses to be certain that he had fallen in love with you - if anything, they just strengthened his conviction that you were the one he was meant to find

Being the intensely devoted and thoughtful man he is, you were on his mind constantly, and he wanted a symbol of his love to be as a part of him as you had become

He didn't even tell you at first because he wanted it to be surprise

It wasn't until he changed into plainclothes for an undercover mission that you noticed the new black ink on his right bicep

You grabbed his arm and stared at the Aurebesh letters spelling your name

"You like it?" he asked, a little nervous

Speechless, you pulled him into a kiss

"I'll take that as a yes" he smiled, before getting another embrace filled with kisses

The only thing Wrecker has ever been discreet about in his entire life is his feelings as he was falling for you

It wasn't for lack of trying. He had been officially head over heels for months, but every time he tried to tell you, his words suddenly came out wrong

In the weeks following, you would refresh it with a spray of your perfume every so often when he wasn't looking

He would also draw doodles of you whenever he had downtime

You were all on a mission not long after the discovery of that day, and during his watch, you rolled over to see him drawing in the sand with a stick. He'd scribbled your initials together within a heart, surrounded by a dozen tinier hearts.

Suffice to say he was not the only one feeling absolutely smitten from then on

Bonus: speaking of shirts, you would absolutely be the couple with the "If lost, return to ___ + I'm ___" tees (likely worn with your matching homemade 'friendship' bracelets)

Tech

He would keep a recording of your voice and laughter

Tech is a private person when it comes to his emotions, but he feels very deeply, even if he isn't sure how to best express his growing affection for you (he thinks it's obvious, after all)

It's this very reason why you doubted that he returned your feelings at first, until you walked by him one day and heard the sound of your own laughter, playing over and over

"What's that?" you questioned, now recognizing the moment that had caused your sides to nearly split (Wrecker had just taken the most dramatic fall into mud you'd ever seen, immediately after bragging he was 'too heavy' to slip)

Tech muted the sound and kept his stare on the datapad, "I capture auditory recordings of all of my interactions for analysis, and file away important data for later reference."

"My laughing is 'important data'?" you smirked as he hesitated for only a moment

"Well, no. Not technically. It is, however, a pleasant sound that reminds me of you, and one that I would like not to forget. By that reasoning, it is important to me," he stated, calmly meeting your awe-struck gaze

It took all your strength not throw yourself into his arms right then and there. He went back to filing his recordings, oblivious to the fact that he had just irreversibly won your heart

He'd also incorporate you into some of his private passcodes

Anything from your initials to your eye color to your favorite flower - just some of the many details that he associates with you and remind him of how much he cares for you

Bonus: if he had a lockscreen/background, it would definitely be a picture of you. He would also be the type to make you a playlist of your favorite songs all from memory because he knows you that well

He would engrave your name on his rifle

Crosshair is a man of conviction and loyalty, and when he was certain that he could trust you with his heart, he wanted to display his loyalty in turn

Modifying his rifle in any way at all is significant, so ingraining your name on the scope is a very personal gesture to him

He caught you completely by surprise on a mission, casually showing it to you while you had watch together

You were stunned to see your name glistening in the firelight, every letter expertly etched into the smooth metal, "Cross, I can't believe you would do that for me..."

"Your love makes my aim true," he replied, wholly sincere

This one remark sealed your fate, giving you both the courage to lean in and share your first kiss

"Then you will never miss," you whispered afterward

You spent the rest of your watch sitting close together in soothing silence under the stars

He would also carve your initials into the wall of his bunk

Wherever he would go, you would be there also. His devotion is unyielding, and you have a partner until the galaxy itself burns up

He would have your handprint on his armor

It seemed like a lifetime since he'd had the handprint from Captain Rex on his chestplate that had meant so much to him through those long years of war

When Echo is sure of something, nothing can move him from it. Not much time was required for him to know that he wanted to share his life with you, and that he wanted your handprint on his armor

He confided in you quite a bit about his past in the GAR, and you knew about the original print, but you never dreamed that he would ask you to replicate it

Itto is kinda a lot at first, and he was a little confused by ur constant rubbing your arms, or tapping ur fingers on stuff, (or all the stims u be doing when ur nervous) but he just took it all in stride

so Itto, after like an hour and a few well placed rocks at his face and groin by 12 yr old u who was ready to fight to the death at first, FINALLY convinced you by drawing a little picture of his house and his friends

but most of the time what happens is- whether unintentionally or not, Itto manages to make THEM feel awkward or like they’re the ones doing something socially weird all the time 😭

just, a parent is like “this kid can’t speak English, do they even know any other language? Because all I keep hearing is them repeating that sound over and over…”

which announces to the whole neighborhood, bc Itto is only ever not loud when you tap his arm as a signal, that the parent is the nosiest bitch ever, he just puts them on blast for everyone to hear lmao

Okay, I'm going to mention three ships of my own, because even when I have some favorites from other simmers, I prefer to go with what I know best, which are the characters of my stories. Here are three of them, in no particular order, and making it clear they're not my only favorites, I have several more, but these are the ones who already have a theme song, in fact some even have two. 😋

Robin and Juliette. (Time Traveler).

1. Sleeping Satellite by Tasmin Archer 2. Science by Coldplay.

Sleeping Satellite in reference to what the Moon means for Robin's family, the sea and other important stuff in his and Juliette's life. The lines "are the seas still dry?", reminds me of Oasis Landing and the Barren Wasteland which, in my story, is where the sea was supposed to be. The lines "nobody said it was easy" and "nobody said it would be this hard", remind me of how difficult it has been for Robin and Juliette to go back together. "Questions of science, science and progress, do not speak as loud as my heart; but tell me you love me, come back and haunt me, oh, and I rush to the start!" I think the whole lyric itself describes the situation these two have been through, time jumps and all.

Tony and Cassandra. (Tony and Cassandra/Tony Langerak's World Adventures).

1. No Myth by Michael Penn. 2. This Love, by Maroon 5.

No Myth always makes me think of Tony and his World Adventures, also the lines "we say goodbye before hello, my secret she will never know", remind me of how Cassandra hated Tony so much before falling in love with him, and how Tony conquered her thanks to a wish he made to the lamp of the genie who was his assistant at that time, lol. (Later Cassandra fell in love with him for real). This Love is more like Tony's chaotic love life theme and also the song he most likes to play on the drums.

Dale and Kelly. They only have one theme song so far, it's Superstar by Jamelia.

"I don't know what it is, that makes me feel like this. I don't know who you are, but you must be some kind of superstar, cause you got all eyes on you no matter where you are". The song is self-explanatory, it makes me think of how crazy these two are about each other, and how attractive the two are to one another and to other people. ❤️ I must add this is one of my favorite songs ever. 🥰

THEY WERE SERIOUS. (Pssst, nobody tell them about Oola.) My other favorite worst take I've ever seen: "We are allowing people to express themselves too much because I just saw people shipping Obi-Wan and Anakin, they're writing all these fics about love, and they shouldn't do that! I also saw people shipping Gojou and Geto from Jujutsu Kaisen and they are FRIENDS, they shouldn't LOVE each other!" Absolutely stellar, no notes, phenomenal, 10/10. 7. what character did you begin to hate not because of canon but because how how the fandom acts about them? It is an absolute struggle not to get sucked into the whirlwind around Qui-Gon Jinn's character. He's so often used as a weapon against the other Jedi, when the reality of his character is that he's both a lovely person and kind of an actual asshole in the movie, he's a dick to Jar Jar! He only cares about Anakin because of the prophecy! But he also is genuine about his affections and he was a good teacher to help Obi-Wan come into himself! He's absolutely HILARIOUS when he's not giving a shit throughout all the batshit stuff that happens in the first 20 minutes of the movie! But so much of fandom wants to flatten him out into either lionizing him or demonizing him and, if that made it more fun for people, I'd be more onboard! Hell, yeah, lionize the hell out of your faves because you love them!! But so few people seem to actually care about the character for himself and, when he gets used to bash the other Jedi, sometimes it's hard to get out of the instinctive urge to dislike the character. (QUI-GON DESERVES BETTER THAN THIS. LET HIM BE AN ASSHOLE CAT THAT WE LOVE.) 9. worst part of canon Honestly, I like pretty much all of Lucas' canon, which is the primary stuff I care about. And most of the boring stuff I can just ignore. But, man, I have trouble with TBB. 20. part of canon you found tedious or boring To be honest, pretty much any of the Star Wars books from the last couple of years that don't focus on established characters. (And some of the established characters, too, I could not finish the Padme trilogy.) I am just so full up on half-sketched characters that never seem to have any real arc to their character or bite to them that I've almost entirely stopped reading SW books, I'm just so bored with them, none of them have Lucas' ability to create a character I want to spend time with or they don't have the page time (like 3+ books worth) to develop them. 21. part of canon you think is overhyped I wouldn't have said this three years ago, but I'll say it today: The Mandalorian. That first season was phenomenal and deserved to be as hyped as it was, just for what it did for breathing enthusiasm back into the fandom. Those early days were amazing, we all got along in fandom, there was genuine affection and zeal for having fun with the characters! But by the time the third season came around, despite that I had a blast during it, it didn't deserve the hype anymore, Favroni had lost their focus or something, and it was all over the place and I don't think it deserves to be "the GOOD Star Wars" live action anymore. (You know what I mean with that.)

no. there's a video game character with my name and occasionally people will bring this character up and ask if i was named after her but no, i wasn't. my parents don't play videogames

2. When was the last time you cried?

i honestly don't remember, i don't actually cry all that much. (so if you see me say things like "i'm crying" in the tags then i'm actually only crying in my heart, i'm not shedding any actually tears dfkfkjdf)

last time i cried was either bc i was really angry or really extremely overwhelmed with life during a period where i hadn't slept much or was on my period or so. orrr what is actually even more likely is that the last time i cried was when i cried from laughter while being with friends. i cry from laughter a lot, actually

3. Do you have kids?

nope. i think i could be a good mother if i had to, but ngl, motherhood and parenting doesn't sound very appealing to me. i am planning on becoming an aunt tho. i'll let my brother provide the grandkids and i'll just borrow them occasionally, spoil them, and then i can always give them back when they get too exhausting or annoying 😂

4. What sports do you play/have you played?

i play baseball for fun once a year with old summer camp friends. other than that i'm not very athletic. in elementary school i used to go to schwimmkurse (swimming courses) which was super fun and it's one of the few sports that i'd consider taking up again if i were to do any. i've always liked swimming (but only in places where i can see the ground and where the water isn't too cold. i feel really uneasy when i can't see the ground and i also freeze easily so i'm not a fan of cold water)

languages, i guess. at least i'm known as the language genius in my family and my friend groups. but to be honest, there's still a lot about language that i don't know and i don't feel like i'm all that great (esp when my language learning progress feels slower than the one of others. which is totally fine by me bc everyone should go at their own pace, but i just don't like it when people call me a language genius bc i feel like in reality i'm not really living up to that. i just happen to know a little bit more about language than those around me, but compared with actual experts? yeah no, i in no way compare...)

but yeah out of all the skills that i have, languages is one my best ones. and i'm also really good at organizing (aka keeping a million lists and making sure all the props are at the right spots and with the right actors and there's enough spares of everything etc lol)

director!!!! in theater or film, idk, but i just really wanna be a director. and maybe take some minor acting roles on the side, idk. for now i still feel too shy to do any professional acting, despite having gotten acting training for 3 years djkkdjfg

i'm really looking forward to next summer, bc i get to be assistant director at this one theater that i've worked at as an intern for the past two summers. the assistant directors that i've worked with so far at this theater have both sucked and both times i ended up more or less taking on the job myself anyway (to the point where they even paid me for my work despite my position usually being an unpaid one) and so this summer i was like "uhhh guys so what if for next summer's production i just work as an assitant director right away instead of an intern?" and they were like "omg you're hired" 😂

As for ships honestly I can see everyone with everyone 😭😭😭 so here is a list of some of my faves, under read more so I don't clog the dash:

Bloodweave - we don't need to talk about this but I will. The push and pull, the stolen glances, their quips back and forth, the tension UGH! They are the same side of the same coin, they are power hungry in a way that only the powerless are, they will destroy the world together if they wish, and yet they will keep choosing the other. On the softer side, i think they can benefit to heal from each other, considering their respective backgrounds - both of them have been used by someone and throughout the game they've been trying to deal with their own respective traumas.

Gale/Lae'zel - mostly I find this one really funny. Laezel would pull the "smell of sweat" thing on Gale and he would crumple like a piece of paper and do anything she says because he's like that 🥺 additionally, they can be very cute in the way bloodweave is with how they can heal from each other, with both of them blindly following their respective goddesses and learning to live their own lives after they stop worshipping them.

Karlach/Wyll - by GOD this one is good. As in they're both good aligned - Wyll literally turned into a devil to save Karlach's life, choosing to be a good person through and through 😭😭 and ofc Karlach was also appreciative of it. These two are tangled in their narrative, you can't talk about one without the other, and I find it really cute. They're so adorable together. Puppy on puppy love 🥺

Karlach/Astarion - this one ACGHGKL two people who's had their lives stolen in such drastically different ways - Karlach has her future stolen, and Astarion is unable to die. One with no time left and one with far, far too much time. Two people who were enslaved and tortured and used and they came out of their respective situations so different. Why is Karlach so happy? Astarion definitely feels some sort of way about it, and when [Act 3 Spoilers] happens and Karlach had her burst of anger, I think Astarion felt cathartic listening to her, too.

Gosh, I love the entire thing tbh -- I adore her writing style, but here are some parts that I remember making a big impact on me (it's all in French as it was never publicly translated into other languages, so I hope that's okay with you -- if not, I'll do a quick summary of what the pages say):

[LEFT: this is my favourite page because she signed it :P this was also near where I discovered the newspaper clippings saved by the previous owner about her and Jean Marais' careers and deaths in '98 - dated and everything in blue ink (I'm happy to show them via DM if you're interested :) )]

[These two pages basically talk about how Edwige was at a soiree hosted by Vivien Leigh and Laurence Olivier in the 50s when The Sleeping Prince was being filmed and people were bitching about Marilyn Monroe and Edwige was like 'wtf'. not to mention her picking up on the majorly off vibes bc Olivier "was ill with gout" and in bed while Vivien had to mingle with people [their marriage was on the rocks and Edwige could tell but was amazed nobody was paying it any attention] BUT I love this section BC OF THE SHADE SHE GIVES THE THREE "important men" WHO WERE FILM PRODUCERS and gave her v unpleasant vibes]

The three final pages in her memoir are absolutely incredible (it made me cry like a baby and moved me deeply), but I feel weird posting them publicly, so if you'd like to see them, I can show you via DM or something <3

This is sooooo difficult, and I feel like Alex in that interview with Jo where he can't answer a single thing in fear of getting it wrong 😂 I'm certain I'll pick something and then spend the rest of the day remembering more favourite ones 😂😂

But!! He has written so so so sooooooo many perfect lyrics. I genuinely don't think he has ever written any bad ones which is quite the feat.

I love when he gets all deceptive and crinkled and does twists and turns and almost gets lost in the abstraction and then I also love when he gets so direct that it's almost painful.

"I caught you talking to the real me, can't tell you how unhappy that shit makes me." The Bourne Identity, basically all of it. It hurts so good and it's so unique to his catalogue and he couldn't ever have been so open and endearingly and painfully honest if it hadn't been for the support of Miles 🥰 I love that song to bits.

"There's a set of rickety stairs in between my heart and my head. And there ain't much that ever bothers going up them." From The Element Of Surprise - another example of how writing with Miles brings out a totally different side to his writing. It's such evoking imagery and such a cool way of saying what he's trying to say. So clever but so simple and straight forward, yet still incredibly layered and thoughtful. Also I love when he writes more directly about his personal inner life and thoughts and how he feels about himself. That's when I find him at his best.

Another set of absolutely gorgeous lyrics with powerful imagery is Love Is A Laserquest, the most heartbreaking thing ever. "When I'm pipe and slippers and rocking chair, singing dreadful songs about summer. Will I have found a better method of pretending you were just some lover." It's just so impressively well put and makes us feel SO MUCH with such simple words. Contains MULTITUDES.

Also, I've always enjoyed the way he makes his lyrics feel like almost rap verses, and he has the most amazing flow and he shoves in so many words and different rhythms and tongue twisters and I just love the creativity he applied to his lyrics. An all time favourite song of theirs for me is Red Lights Indicate Doors Are Secured, and especially this bit just sounds so delicious "Drunken plots hatched to jump it, ask around "are you sure?" Went for it but the red light was showing, and the red light indicates doors are secured."

Another example of this is him spitting in Curtains Close "Cause I'm a mad mother-fucker with my curtains open, sitting tucked up in bed."

6.5/10 because George will never receive less than a 6 he is physically incapable of looking bad. The extra half point is also because I find the unibrow quite endearing 🤭
