Hey y'all!  You'll never guess who got sick immediately after getting over being sick before!

That's right, this gal! xD Though thankfully it came and went quickly so I'm feeling better now!

All joking aside though, September has gone exactly like August did. And unfortunately I've just really not had the motivation for art. I've been in a depressive slump as of late, not just with art but in general, so I apologize for being so inactive. :( Though I have been able to doodle a few things here and there, I'm not ready to post any of that yet, if ever lol. It's mostly just comfort doodles and experimental stuff to try and get my groove back.

But I do still wanna at least try to keep this account alive, so I dug up this piece for y'all!

I actually drew this a good while ago now, I just didn't feel confident in posting it. But I was pretty happy with it, and still am, so you know what? Screw my anxiety, I'm gonna post it anyway! xD 

Ever since I was little, I've always had a soft spot for Shadow and Silver. And I really like them as a duo! Their dynamic has a lot of potential. Especially since they've honestly both lost so, so much, and both of them absolutely need a hug because of it. So why not let 'em hug each other? :D

Can you tell us some stuff about your splatoon ocs?

OH BOY so ive been meaning to drop some stuff about them(even the oldest ones because they've got some updates boooi) but ive been too busy drawing squid and playing squid bideogame to write about squid do u get me

so UH ill use this as my excuse to do at least some rambling uwU (<- me before i wrote this whole fuckin thing) they're all around the same age (17-19) but their character arcs sorta start based on the game i made them for (does that make sense?)

i wanna get them all smth decent on toyhouse eventually but this will do for now lmao

okay so this post is long as hell its readmore time

so to start with the splat 1 crew who were around 14 when i first made them;

but first here's the post w most of them, for reference :-)

Fernanda is basically the focus point of everything that happens here. Definition of girlboss; she moves every plot point because she is bold and determined to reach her goals. Her main objective is the classic BECOME THE VERY BEST and for that she's constantly trying to assemble the perfect team; though the means to reach that goal are pretty flexible. She's pretty much feral in battle, and is what some might call a "tryhard" in-game. She does try very hard. Way too much sometimes.

-anyway the moment she became a legit kid who is a squid at 14 she started going to turf war bc it was always her passion. Additionally, the moment her Childhood Bestie(tm) Speckle reached the same age she dragged him too. Personally, he'd rather not get into that stuff because hes very timid and nervous and scared and- yeah, that- but he's willing to do it with a friend; specially Fernanda, whose secondary hobby is beating up people who are mean to him. Thats sorta how they met in the first place.

She is, however, very determined to teach him the ins and outs of turf war and challenge him to go out of his comfort zone. He likes using brushes because he's an artsy person, but since it's a mostly aggressive weapon type, Fernanda wants him in the frontlines with her. It's just strats guys she totally isn't also doing it just to spend more time with her friend :-) shhh

But he sorta sticks like glue and depends a lot on her for safety, which isn't really the best idea in her mind. SO to try to teach him to be more confident she eventually starts joining the opposing team instead.

Needless to say, Spec is terrified being in a team without her. Doesn't help that she's the enemy, either, even though she usually doesn't outright splat him when they eventually clash. She moreso tries to give him a lesson first. It doesn't work very well. And worse yet, at one point some annoying ass charger starts targeting her specifically whenever she gets close to the other side of the map.

...And that's Gabriel (but i just call him gabe) :) He sorta notices how this girl keeps going after the same guy over and over again and eventually went 'yeah okay thats enough' and just started giving Speckle some support. (wanna make a lil note here that this is based on an actual thing that happened to me in game; i ran out of ink in a fight and the team charger blasted them and we both went BOOYAH. ill never forget u bro)

So yeah spec being spec he glued onto gabe instead. fernanda was, indeed, very upset by this because not only she couldn't enforce her lessons anymore but also spec was just doing the thing she didn't want him keep doing in the first place. And dealing with gabe is like. very, very annoying. specially for her as a roller main. he's always camping at the same few spots and he pretty much always avoids confrontation of any kind; motherfucker just jumps back to spawn or to a teammate who's safe. He has not only an advantage in range, but also his aim is impeccable. it's terrible hes terrible

anyway spec, despite being timid, actually grows attached to people really fast. from then on, every time they spot gabe in the lobby he waves and invites him to join them. fernanda is very annoyed my this but eventually she actually forms some sorta friendly rivalry with him(instead of, ynow, her being motivated purely to kick his ass). she ends up inviting him to join her (to be) Perfect Team(tm) and they all start hanging out more and learning how to work as a group.

also theres this plot thread

its really just classic fluff n they end up dating like god intended

now there's like a big story gap here because, uh, it used to be some shared stuff with a friend but-- Yeah. im not sure what to do with that just yet. (..and its the big arc where fernanda has the most character development, strengthens her goals and improves herself. big gay shit too. bummer. 😔)

This gap extends all the way to the timeline of Splatoon 2, where they're all around 16

But lemme add some misc stuff that's happened since the first game tho; -Speckle has a new hobby, weapon customization! :-) he mostly does it for fun or for his friends, but occasionally someone comes up offering pay for it. he's not very confident about actually selling the stuff, but hey, he wasn't the one who asked for money. -Gabe learns to camp less but he gets tired real fast. -Fernanda and Gabe actually form a good and strong bond???? the rivalry is still there and they sometimes do 1v1 because she wants to get better at fighting people with far ranged weapons. -Actually, Fernanda's skill in particular grows exponentially. She's really giving it all she's got. Speckle might be less scared of going to turf alone, but it still makes him sorta nervous. -They move together to a lil place near Inkopolis Plaza because I don't follow real world rules (does a little dance) i will spare you of the somewhat underdeveloped socioeconomic hcs i made for this

OK MOVING FORWARD-

Splatoon 2 is the "Fernanda goes out scouting for a 4th person to complete their team and Spec befriends every single candidate" arc. It's what it says on the very specific tin. Just three of them won't do, and they have to get a 4th team member in order to start actually cooking some neat strategies because everyone has to be in on it.

They do turf and ranked matches and Fernanda tries to recruit the people who do best alongside them. In this process they meet Fernando, aka Fucco bc hes a fucker thats all there is to it lmao(though I have to mention Gabe is the origin of this nickname because he can't fucking stand Fernando; everyone else just sorta agrees because Yeah It's True), and through him they also are introduced to Roberta(bobby) and Orlando(orb!!!), who are his buddies and theyre just here to chill tbh.

When Fernanda rejects Fucco as a possible team member he is absolutely offended by it. So he rallies up his allies(see: his two friends) to clash against the og trio. Thing is, they don't really have much experience as a team. Bobby and Orb just sorta do turf casually, for fun. Fucco is the only one of them who is actually competitive and he just thinks great at it (hes average at best). He's always acting like they're the mean girls when both teams cross paths and tries to make up for his lack of skill with witty remarks, which, granted, is something he actually is good at.

He sorta starts pushing his teammates a bit too much to the point they're not really having fun anymore so they have to like stop supporting this for a moral lesson that he does not listen to and makes him feel betrayed so he gets upset at them. And then these battles devolve into just 1v1 between [chuckles] Fernanda and Fernando with everyone watching it like it's a saturday morning cartoon because honestly theres no contest here. This obviously makes him break eventually, and so Fernanda now is the one who has to break the moral lesson about idk fighting with passion, teamwork, actually accepting your own flaws and working around them and not through them, etc etc all that anime kinda stuff. Maybe throw something about the power of friendship there too just for flavor.

So while all these things happens, Spec is just being nice with the other team. He sometimes just stops mid-battle to listen to Orb rambling about something as he often does(yeah they just sit there but don't worry Gabe is always there to watch for whiny tryhards too), gives them a lil booyah when they do cool stuff, and always invites them to chill at the cafeteria when they're all done with their matches. And they do, although Fernando has a little uuuuuuh trouble with this. There's always a long exchange of threatening glares between him and Gabe and/or Fernanda. He's mostly only there because Orb is a friend he'd die for. and Orb really likes Speckle too.

Annnd yeah when this is all settled down and Fucco has finally stopped trying to be a nuisance these guys all merge into One Larger Group and he actually gets to join Fernanda's team in turf; not as one of them, though, just hanging out with them. It's all just shenanigans for them for a while after all that's done (-:

Eventually they meet MY BOY Michael aka Mikemas which is like Splatmas but with his (nick)name because he was 12 when he made that username. I switched the protagonist POV to him because, in case you haven't noticed, I just really love him. He's a little bastard who's got a significant following on the internet; he occasionally livestreams turf war(and other stuff) and has a BIG passion for music. Also makes funny short skits and other trendy type of content you'd see from an online personality. Speaking of online personality - that's all his sorta dumb egocentric attitude is. Though he is very confident, most of the dumb shit he says and does is mean to be a joke (see: "I don't need this, I'm an influencer" while being completely aware he isn't of that scale yet). Biggest highlights are the Calamari Inkantation ballad cover - the thing which usually makes people notice just how good his vocals are - and the "Now Or Never But Every Loop Gets Faster" video.

And then there's Manga, who I just got out of the afriendmadethis limbo because he and Mike go hand in hand. They live together and they're childhood friends who are, really close, not in a romantic way but in a way you'd probably think is. Manga participates in the internet presence stuff as well, he plays the keyboard and has a soundboard of funny sound effects for streaming :-) He's nonverbal, very quiet and deadpan most of the time but he's basically got the same sense of humor as Mike; they're very similar in a lot of ways that would make you question if maybe they're actually siblings? (they aren't) He's just less confident and less likely to engage in dumb shit; to the point he kinda has to act like a fuckin babysitter because someone keeps "forgetting" to take the medicine for their bipolar disorder and we simply can't let that happen so I guess we gotta fuckin suplex him to do it I guess. A lot of things need to have parental controls enabled because someone is very prone to addiction and keeps trying to play videogames for 24 hours nonstop without consuming anything but the hoard of iced tea they have in the fridge, which occasionally has to be locked also.

(in conclusion mike would've never been allowed to live away from his family if manga wasn't there)

Anyway yeah they meet Mike in turf and he's actually almost as good as he says he at it is so he earns the invitation to claim the honorable title of 4th member of Fernanda's team. ...Okay. It's more like. He's the one person who accepted it, I guess. And thus, Mike and Manga get to join their table at the cafeteria.

The last characters I made for Splatoon 2 were these guys, who never really got any development(or even names) until Splatoon 3 so I'm kinda pushing them to be for the Splat 3 plots I've been cookin'. And they finally have names - Vespa Gel, Roll and Viv.

So yeah now where we are, Splatoon 3 where everyone is 17-19. This is all still going on in the general area near Inkopolis Plaza, though we'll get to the mentions of Splatsville soon.

Mike was a very late addition to the team, so he isn't very well adjusted to the way they go about in turf and... He isn't really what we can call responsible, and is quite the chore to deal with. This bit of plot is mostly about several dumb conflicts between him and Fernanda because he keeps skipping practice, missing calls, and mostly acts independently instead of trying to work as a team. He is, however, a vital asset because of the skill level and comes in clutch very often, which is why he hasn't been kicked out of the team yet.

Now the stuff here is mostly still a mess so I'll get to some key points that happen parallel to that conflict--

-Mike meets Viv in turf and they bond a lot not just during matches but also afterwards bc Viv just sorta likes taking walks around the plaza and Mike tags along, initially because he wants to know when he could expect to see Viv in turf again because its good stream content and he just really likes going against people who match his skill bc it's fun :-) This sorta leads to them just hanging out a lot and meanwhile everyone at the table is just... sorta giggling quietly about how sus he's being bc of how he excitedly talks about Viv but he pushes back saying it's just some fun kinda rivalry y'now??? nothing to see here.

-Viv eventually has to stop hanging out bc he kinda is part of a gang that now kinda despises Mike. Well, Vespa, specifically, but the other two have goon brain so they gotta pretend they also hate him. They could hurt him in all sorts of bad ways because the boys r kinda unhinged, so Viv decides it's the best option to stop hanging out at the plaza(which is actually pretty far from where he lives)

-This is heartbreaking, of course, specially bc it happened right as Mike accepted that Yes, He Has The Hell of a Crush and sorta hits some insecurities he has.

-But right after he meets Sen, and they kinda have a relationship? One where they are together, but both don't really want to admit it? because theyre both fucking stupid lmao (jk its related to more serious things but yeah)

(this is where i pause bc im legally required to share a ref of him though i dont have a good and finished one so just take this)

-Sen is from Splatsville, he moved to Inkopolis alone to work towards a career goal by taking some extensive courses and apprenticeships. He is constantly overworking himself and being stressed due to it, but he really doesn't want to grow attached to anyone in Inkopolis because he is very deeply affected by separation. This move itself has been very hard for him, even though he still has contact with his friends back in the Splatlands, and he doesn't want to have to go through it again when he eventually goes back home. Well, that was the plan until he was forced to have a funny little guy who sticks like glue, as a treat :-)

..this is all I can confidently share for now, but there's a lil bit in the crock pot that I've been brainstorming because Splat 3 finally convinced me to take a dip on making the agents ocs. its THE GIRLS they're the ones featured in this post. i wanna do an alt story mode with them eventually but no promises since im bad at keeping my word LMAO

(small note i forgot to add, they are kinda connected to the main group bc they are sen's aforementioned friends they bully him on inkstagram)

(UPDATE) dear lord ive named them theyre Amber(Captain), Camellia(4), Elizabeth(8), and Goo(3) (<- but u say it more like its "gaw"). Lil' buddy is just lil' buddy but goo will occasionally call him cute lil nicknames when no one is lookin' so they do the fabled bABYTALK!!!!!!!!!

Tyson let out a yelp as EJ smacked him in the ass with a towel. “Fuck, EJ that hurt. And what are you talking about, I don’t have a girlfriend?” He replied confused.

“Dude. That girl you brought to Landy’s last night? And now she’s at the game sitting with the rest of the partners? Dude.” Erik said, coming to stand next to him in the showers. Mind you, they were both bare assed but unfazed.

“Yeah? She’s not my girlfriend dude. She’s my best friend from back in Alberta. Has been since we were kids.” Tyson said matter of factly, as if EJ was fully aware of their almost double decade friendship.

“Oh shit that’s (Y/N)?” Erik said, remembering all the times Tyson would bring her up in conversation. “How come you’ve never brought her around before?”

“It’s just never worked out to get her to come during the season.” He said with a shrug of his shoulders, "She was in school, just graduated from her grad program actually, so now that she has the time she's staying with me until she figures out a job."

EJ squinted, not quite believing him. Last night at Landy's he sure didn't. The entire night, Tyson's hand could be found at the small of her back. They even held hands. At one point, he was lying on the couch between her legs, with her hands in his hair.

"Dude. Look, I'm not trying to speculate, but like have you ever thought you might be just a little more than friends?" Erik questioned.

Tyson hesitated, a lump in his throat all of a sudden. They had since moved back to the dressing room and were getting back into their suits.

"I mean, I don't know dude. She's always been in my life so it's hard for me to picture a lot of things without her. She's my best friend." Tyson replied, a little unsure of himself all of a sudden.

"Woah, that hurt." JT chimed in to chirp. "But like, seriously dude. EJ’s got a point. You're telling me there hasn't been one instance you haven't felt something towards her? You guys just are so.. coupely."

Tyson scrunched his face up in confusion. "Coupley?"

"Yeah." JT said. "Like, you're literally always hugging her. And kissing her forehead. Not to say that you can't, but like... I do that stuff with Syd."

Tyson stood still for a second taking in what his friends were saying. Was he too affectionate with her? He didn't think so. She was just as affectionate if anything. Was that supposed to mean something? Their entire lives, they've dealt with chirps from friends and family about growing up and getting married. But they both agreed at a young age it would never happen, and they were just friends. Friends. Why did that word suddenly leave a bad taste on his tongue.

Looking back on things, maybe EJ and JT were right. Often times, Tyson would meet people and go on dates, and usually found himself comparing their mannerisms or qualities to (Y/N)'s. And of course, she was beautiful. She grew into herself from the days of crooked teeth and splotchy cheeks. But she'd always been beautiful to him, the way her (Y/H/C) fell around her face and her skin gleamed in the sunlight and the way her laugh sounded and the way his named fell from her perfect lips and-

I was thinking about a Female!MC but if you want you can keep them gender neutral (I don't mind!). So let's get into it, shall we?

Some facts about MC before the Devildom:

- They've already eaten all Sukuna's fingers

-But they are able to keep him calm inside themselves because over the year they've been together, MC decided to approach him more (Ya know if you have to die with/for someone, at least know them better)

-Sukuna took a liking to the MC, even though he would never admit it. (I mean- They always visit him in his domain to talk to him, read together, play cards (yes. You heard me. The king of curses loves Poker and UNO) or chess, they always ask him where would he like to go eat something, offer him some of their food to let him try new things, ect. - Having said that, Sukuna's still a stinky sassy bastard King. He's still rude, acts like he doesn't care about them and always finds a way to let them down when they're too happy. If they're sad though, he doesn't hurt them more. Sometimes MC even asks him advice whenever they're in doubt and after his bulling he actually gives pretty good advice (if you consider extreme violence a good advice that is)

Anyway, MC was going to get executed when suddenly they fell into Devildom. Their file didn't mention Sukuna at all and MC noticed that because when they arrived covered in talismans and chains the demons were confused about it. So, they kept the King a secret until lesson 16.

After Belphegor's crushing hug, while MC (the one from the original timeline) is in Mammon's arm, before Barbatos Thanoses the other timeline, Sukuna heals them and takes fully control of their body (the tattoos, the fangs, the long black claws, the other pairs of eyes and arms appear).

Now, HOW would the brothers, Diavolo and Barbatos react?

"What the fuck did you to do MC?" Sukuna hastily spits out, checking the body for any other injuries. MC's voice is back and talking out of the same mouth.

"Sukuna, stand down," MC says.

"But he almost killed you ! Without me we wouldn't be standing here right now !" Sukuna argues back.

"I'm aware of that, but we have to be civil about this and talk to them," MC responds sternly.

"Then I want to be present for it. I'm not letting anything happen to you- I mean me. Yes me because I die if you die and I'm too godly to die," Sukuna rambles out before retracting the other set of arms but leaving the tattoos. He opens one of the eyes and forms a mouth on MC's right cheek to watch and participate in the conversation.

All the brothers and Divolo looked stunned at the scene that just happened.

"Questions ?" MC jokingly asks.

"Uh, so this is Sukuna. He's the king of curses ? We kind of share a body because... uhh... it's a very long story but i mean the gist of it is I ate his thousand year old fingers ? There was 20 of them because he had two sets of arms like you saw before- it was very gross- but i had to because of the energy they posses ? When you brought me here and I was covered in seals and chains, was when I was about to be executed because I have all of Sukuna in me. So,, he can do stuff like heal my body and give me cool powers ? I don't really know what else to say." MC rambles using awkward hand motions and finishes by scratching the back of their head.

"Way to make me sound like a total fucking loser," Sukuna glares at MC.

"For the love of god stop talking-" MC shoots back.

"Oh. So I went to a high school for Jujutsu sorcerers, which are people who can manipulate cursed energy, and once I ate the first one to save my friend from dying, my choices were to die now or eat all of Sukuna and then be executed because he would die with me," MC says as if them dying was nothing.

"Anger issues. You think we couldn't deal with this ? Are you serious right now ?" Satan asks.

MC shrugs their shoulders nervously.

"How much do you actually know about what sharing a body with him does to you ?" Satan asks while looking at the small mouth and glaring.

"I mean, I get these marks because he had them when he was alive. He was also so powerful to the point he had four arms and another set of eyes, like you saw before. I get those when he takes over mostly, but I can kee him restrained. But the eye thing is why I've always had slits under my eyes because the eyes are the most common thing to show up. The arms don't really. But it's entirely painless so don't worry," MC somewhat calmly explains.

"So why do you let him live in your body if he can't do much for you ?" Asmo questions.

"Well one, I don't think there's a way to get him out-"

"I'm still here you know," Sukuna interrupts.

"You've made that clear," MC says before continuing, "And two he can do stuff for me. It's like a symbiotic relationship. I give him a host and he protects me."

I understand if you want me to go, I was harboring a big secret and it's probably unnerving to know that you're never truly alone with me, but Sukuna actually cares about my boundaries even though he acts like he doesn't. There are some pluses and there are some drawbacks but ultimately you have to decide." MC responds, looking from brother to brother then at Dia and Barbatos

"Oooh~ Count me in !" Asmo says with a smile.

"I also think they should stay," Satan says and looks at MC.

"My personal preference is also that they stay, but Lord Diavolo it's up to you," Lucifer says and looks at Dia.

"Then it's settled ! Welcome to the devildom for the rest of your life MC!!" Diavolo smiled and welcomed MC with open arms.

Sun and Moon x Reader Chapter Fourteen

Y/n P.O.V.

Sun wraps his arms around me and cuddles me, smiling at me and kissing me on the forehead. I look over at Moon confused.

"What did you say, Moon?" He looks away and mumbles.

"I didn't say anything. It's none of your business." He says, getting up.

"I'm going to head out." He says, waving himself out. I turn back to Sun and nuzzle into him. I then reach up and pepper his face with kisses. He heats up and tightens his grip on me, hiding his face in my shoulder. I can hear him whisper something.

"I never want to let you go ever again." I blush hearing his sweet words.

"I'll try not to get hurt." I say giggling. As I relax in his arms I feel him tracing circles on my back, making me smile.

"Hey Sunny, I'm sorry I was gone for so long." I start.

"When I was taken to the hospital I tried to explain stuff about you guys but the doctors thought I was crazy and they sent me to a psych ward." I squeeze Sun's hand while saying this.

"All I wanted to do was get back to you guys as soon as possible. I missed you so much." I say now wrapping my arms around him hugging him tight.

"You know Y/n, they tried to replace you." Dusk chimes in. My heart drops at the sound of that.

"W-w-what happened?" I stutter.

"Well obviously they didn't get the job. They actually tried to have a few people to replace you." I look over at Dusk.

"You didn't like any of them, did you?" I say shyly, hanging my head low.

"No, of course not!" Sun says, almost panicking. Dusk cuts in.

"Yeah, these two were moping around the whole time. They even had to temporarily close the daycare." I look at Dusk relieved.

"Hey Sunny?" I say looking up at him innocently. He hums.

"Can I rest here with you for a bit? I've had the longest week ever.." I say in a needy tone.

"Of course you can, my Sunflower." He says, holding me close, nuzzling me and kissing my forehead. I think to myself.

'I love him so much' as I adjust myself, getting comfy in the cuddles. I wrap my arms around him as I drift into a deep sleep, comforted by Sun's gentle touch.

Sun P.O.V.

I notice that Y/n is asleep and pick them up gently, setting them on our bed. I smile and kiss them on the cheek.

"I'm glad you're home, my little Sunflower." I whisper to myself. After sitting next to them for a while watching over them, I get up and decide to take a walk around the daycare. I leave my bedroom but I'm quickly stopped by Moon.

"How could you?" He mumbles. I look over at him confused,

"How could I do what?" I ask. Moon then walks over to me.

"How could you steal Y/n from me?" I look at him dumbfounded by his words

"I have no idea what your talking about, I didn't steal them from anyone."

"You don't get it! I've been trying all damn month for them not to be scared of me, and they confess to you when you hurt them just as badly as I have." Moon says getting in my face.

"I bet you don't even have feelings for them, I bet you're just trying to be nice to them out of pity." I stare at the ground away from him.

"How would you know any of my feelings? The only person you have been paying attention to is Y/n and Dusk. You haven't even interacted with me in over a month." I say staring directly into his eyes and pushing him.

"My feelings for Y/n are there and they've been there for a while. I've just been keeping them to myself because I felt that my feelings for them were insignificant and would never be returned." I get closer to Moon.

"Maybe Y/n would like you more if your first impression wasn't to threaten killing them and then actually attempt to murder on them going through with the empty threat you made." I see Moon stumble back.

"I've been trying to make it up to them this whole time! You have no idea how hard I've been trying. You don't understand how hard it is to have the whole world hate you and then you have that one person who isn't afraid of you but then fuck it up because of a hacked system!" Moon says, tears forming in his eyes.

"You have never had anyone hate you before in your life. You have been living in this wonderland of love and affection but you have never had to lurk in the shadows." Moon looks up at me.

"All I ever wanted was for Y/n to like me. But I just fuck everything up every time I see them." He lowers his head.

"I love them more than anything in this world but they will never see me as anything more than a threat!" he sobs.

"You will never know how that feels. You've always been the golden child, the one everyone loves and I'm the one who everyone sees as the danger to society." He curls into a ball and sobs to himself. In a sense of panic I ask myself;

'What do I do?'

Y/n P.O.V.

I listened as the argument went down. I feel a suffocating weight on my chest and  I start to panic.

"Did I do something wrong? Did I cause this all to happen?" I then hear Moon yell.

"I love them more than anything in this world but they will never see me as anything more than a threat!" Hearing him say this, I walk away from the door. I hide myself in the vent to get away from the negativity. I see the mini music man and pick him up and squeeze him. I then pet him gently on the head. I whisper to myself.

"I'm sorry you ok little guy." I set him down gently but he hops back into my lap and I continue to pet him. I start drifting back to sleep while holding mini music man, blocking out all the noise.

Moon P.O.V.    

              

I finally finish what I was saying and head into the room.

"I'm going to go talk to them." I say, opening the door. I look around the room.

"Hey Sun," I yelled to him.

"Where's Y/n?" The next thing I know Sun almost breaks the door off the hinges from how fast he bursts into the room. I call Dusk.

"Hey.. uh. We lost Y/n. Can you go through the vents to look for them? I know it's a faster way of traveling." I hear Dusk reply.

"ok, I got you." A few minutes later there are clunking noises.

"I think I found them." I hear Dusk.

"Where did you find them?" me and Sun say in unison.

"I guess they fell asleep in the vents... No way! They also have mini music man, that little dude is hard to catch!"  I see Dusk crawl back into our room.

"Here they are." he says, holding us. He walks over to Sun and places them in his arms.

"There you go, now deal with them however you please." He says, leaving the room. I look to Sun with pleading eyes.

"Can I please be alone with them?" I say shyly, not wanting to anger him, looking away from him, twiddling my fingers. He then gives me a gentle smile handing them to me.

"Yes, You may." He says, walking away from me.

god. honestly? i love the actual act of writing a scene i've been itching to write. there is NOTHING like turning off your brain and letting the idea Possess Your Hands and do the writing for you. like!!!!!!!! i never used to understand how people could say "oh this character just said/did that i don't control the narrative" or w/e but. I Get It Now. i do. when the words fall into place like perfect puzzle pieces...when dialogue just comes naturally and it sounds right instead of forced and shit. man. chefs kiss. truly.

13. What is a subject matter that is incredibly difficult for you write about? What is easy?

honestly jfldskgmdlskfmdlksm i think my answer to both is smut. but like. levels of it, you know? my fifty bajillion years of being a fandom writer for a variety of fanbases has made my ability to turn a scene between characters Tender And Sexy pretty instinctive #ToMe, but like. actually committing to the full thing? E rated stuff? its like pulling teeth. i hate it so much. it gives me such an insane amount of anxiety and embarrassment. no matter how much positive kind feedback i get, it is literally never going to change i just cant handle it(tm).

“Caffeine’s your drug of choice, huh?” Odell can’t keep the teasing smile out of his voice. “Damn, E, you’ve gotten hardcore since I was last in the city.” “Oh, for sure,” Eli replies with a roll of his eyes. He sips at his mug of tea. “You think that’s crazy, you should’ve seen me earlier in my career. Probably woulda loved me when I was younger.” Maybe he’s still running on fumes from partying too hard with Jimmy the other night. Maybe it’s the comfort of his morning tea. Maybe it’s just his heart finally beating too loud in his chest, giving up on hiding. Whatever it is, it has Odell completely open. He chuckles at Eli’s words and shakes his head, a smile starting to play on his lips. “Nah, I love you just fine now.” And oh—there it is. He doesn’t even realize he’d been thinking it until the last syllable leaves his mouth, and his eyes dart up to meet Eli’s. His face is—unreadable. THIS WAS SUCH A MOMENT FOR MEEEE!!! the whole scene, really, but especially this breathless little moment because it's the first casual admission of odell's feelings TO ELI after a couple thousand words of denial (why do i feel this way about leaving him behind in new york) and then Denial (he could never feel the same way, it's impossible). i was SO glad i finally got to this point because really it's all just downhill from here in the fic; odell thinks he's ruined their relationship saying this, so he decides to go fuck it and mess around with someone else he doesn't love, only to find himself yearning after eli even still. AND LIKE THATS ALL THE GOOD STUFF!!! this was one of those moments that really wrote itself honestly. planning-wise, i wasn't sure how odell was going to get to the point where he says something, but it always had to be a "letting your guard down" moment because they've been apart for a few months at this point and odell is just. spilling over w/his feelings because they've all kind of lodged in his throat the first time he sees eli in the airport etc etc

For one: whenever the concept of the Nohrians meeting the young trio comes up, my first thoughts are 1) Inigo being cripplingly shy and terrified of Xander 2) Severa being Extremely Unreasonable and Aggressive especially toward Camilla and 3) Owain gravitating toward Elise because she's reminiscent of his mother, because he's a mama's boy who probably lost his mom very recently and that's pretty fucked up!!

That being said, I'm screaming at the idea of Owain gravitating toward Elise because mother, Xander because cool sword, and Camilla because cool armor, and Not Trusting Leo because he's a Dark Mage and Dark Mage Means Plegia Means Grima Means Evil (almost always) and Leo being so upset about it. It turns the tables entirely, where Odin was originally the one who thought both Leo and Niles were so cool and they thought he was a weirdo idiot until he proved himself, now he thinks they're creepy and Evil and have to work for his trust. And I will always love the Nohrians realizing the trio were Fucked Up Kids and the idea of them watching the three of them take down a faceless with Brutal efficiency because of how much more dangerous Risen were...I'm so into this. AND!! The trio fucking hating each other!! They're so used to them being Best Friends and Inseparable and understanding each other on a whole different wavelength. And now? Sev and Inigo aren't very kind toward Owain's dramatics, Sev and Owain are Bothered by Inigo's flirtations, and Severa is just so harsh with both of them (and most people). Of all the people they could be stuck with, they would Not choose each other. I'm rambling but I'm so into it I'm so so into it. One of the previous asks you linked spoke a lot about Inigo, but if you could talk a bit more about Severa and Owain? Especially if their adult selves were involved with their lieges and partner retainers and how different the dynamic is now and the way they each react when realizing the trio went through something so clearly screwed up and beyond even what they've seen

With Niles and Leo being the ones who have to prove themselves to Owain instead of the other way around. And the Trio not getting along!! They're 100% there to save each other when they think they're in mortal danger, but as soon as they realize they're not in Plegia? Don't touch me, don't breath on me, don't look in my direction, any of you. Owain & Inigo can't be alone in a room together or else they'll scuffle, Severa stomps away whenever Inigo tries to compliment her, nobody wants to talk to Owain, etc.

Also sure! I spoke a lot about Inigo in that last ask because I wanted to be clear about what I meant with the shyness thing, but for Severa & Owain...

I don't know if they would have been in romance with their lieges before this! I obviously ship the royals & their retainers, but I don't ever see the appeal of that dynamic in deaging fics? I get the idea of like "oh, this is a new side of my partner I've never seen before," but the deaging part is such a huge part of the plot that I don't really see the benefit to that dynamic in these types of fics.

But just in general! The friendship/platonic shift!

I mentioned before about Camilla trying to dote on little Severa but struggling because Severa rejects her So Hard, lol. In general she'd want to dote on Severa because of her personality and how Severa is a tiny version of her beloved retainer, but the more it becomes clear that Severa has issues (especially re: family, which is a major reason Camilla feels the need to dote on Corrin), the more she wants to spend time with her and make some happy memories with her. Which makes Severa's rejection of this attention even stronger bc who the hell are you to presume you know her? And also you're not her big sister/mom/whoever.

Eventually, I almost feel like Camilla would?? I don't want to say "give up," but eventually you're going to get more flies with honey than vinegar. By which I mean the less Camilla tries to push the relationship, the more open Severa might be to spending time with her. But I'm not sure Camilla would get to this point within the timeframe of the Trio being deaged! I think this would take many days or perhaps even weeks to figure out. If the Trio return to normal before this, I think Camilla might feel different (Hard to say how... maybe guilty??) about the way her Selena dotes on her and wants her attention all the time vs little Severa rejecting her. But!! If the Trio stay deaged for a while and Camilla learns to stop pushing the relationship, Severa may slowly grow to approach Camilla on her own and may then be open to being doted upon once they understand each other more (bc she canonically wants all the foods and fun stuff Camilla is offering; she just wants it from someone she trusts. And primarily from her parents ((see: awakening supports w/ parents)), but they're not here).

tl;dr Camilla would have to go against her doting instincts if she wanted Severa to get comfortable with her. Otherwise Severa would avoid her/take advantage of the things Camilla is offering while not wanting to be near her very much.

Re: Beruka!

Unlike Camilla, who has a lot of sad and sympathetic feelings for Severa, Beruka really leaves feelings out of it. Which is probably to her benefit in this scenario, as she's approaching Severa's trauma's from a logical (perhaps even detachedly relatable) standpoint rather than sympathetic. She's more direct than Camilla, so Severa might be a little more comfortable with her, just because she knows what to expect.

Severa, for her part, may even seek Beruka out once she knows they're partners because (1) she wants to know what sort of person her future partner is and (2) she wants to prove that she's the better retainer than Beruka. Which of course she can't do because (a) Beruka would never compare them like that, nor Camilla and (b) Severa is younger, more hotheaded, and less skilled than her older self, so anything she tries to prove now, she'll probably fail at and will blame on her older self having more experience. This competetive spirit may start as an inferiority complex thing, but with Beruka never really fanning the flames, Severa may eventually calm down about it and just feel more driven to get better on her own/respect Beruka as her partner (sort of like her Cynthia Supports in Awakening, though a little different).

Leo & Owain, I already talked about. Owain will immediately take note of the fact that Leo & Niles are his future lord & partner, which he is very curious about, but once Xander, Camilla, & the other very cool people with melee weapons come into the picture, he's very drawn to them, which makes Leo jealous, lol. Leo dedicates himself to "solving" the deaging issue, using this as an excuse so he doesn't have to spend time around Owain and get compared to his "cooler" siblings. HOWEVER, joke's on him bc the fact he's avoiding Owain means Owain doesn't get the chance to quiz him even more and tell him about how cool Brynhilder is. When this finally happens, Leo feels incredibly foolish for trying to show off for Owain & avoid him in turns. Owain, meanwhile, may or may not have ever picked upon on the fact Leo was feeling weird about him at all (although he will admit he felt nervous around Leo at first bc Pelgian Mage Memories and had to take time to get over that).

Niles is a little hard to consider because I actually think?? He'd be good with young/immature folk when he's genuinely trying to be? (See: Niles's interactions with Elise & Nina). However, he can also be quite cruel to people who don't really deserve it (See: Mozu C & B supports) despite having a motto of only insulting "people who deserve it," (Peri Support). So!! I think Niles's interactions with Owain ultimately come down to how well he respects Odin/how good their relationship was. If they were besties when Odin gets deaged, then I don't think Niles will purposely try to make Owain feel bad, though a lot of what he says with metaphors & double meanings will probably go over Owain's head anyway. I also don't know if he'd purposely go digging for information or not?? Depending on how much he feels asking would be a betrayal to Odin's trust vs his own curiosity and all the hints Owain doesn't realize not to drop?? I think Owain would really determine what Niles does or doesn't learn about him. They have the potential to have a really good talk where Owain talks about his parents' deaths and the struggles he & the kids are going through and Niels talking about his own life on the streets. (BTW, despite Owain literally going through a war & both parent death, I think he might think Niles has the worse situation bc he's never known parental love at all, which baffles Niles).

Similar to Leo, I think Owain would be really cautious around Niles at first, both because he's an intimidating sort and because he takes cues from how everyone acts around Niles too. But!! Also just like Leo, if his future self trusted them, obviously that means something, right? So he'd approach Niles a bit more after a few days of settling in.

Niles & Owain's interactions are really hard to imagine because they depend on so many factors that I haven't decided upon! But hopefully the other ones make sense, lol

i genuinely think some people are so dark and twisted that when something or someone good comes along (chris/skz/etc) they think it's suspicious and has alterior motives (like chris being labeled a cult leader, because he's open and loving and warm and wants us to feel accepted. only with cult leaders it comes from a place of harm). it's sad to me that these people have that mindset, that if something is good it must be bad underneath. oh well. we're gonna keep vibing over here with the boys having a good and fun and loving time.

NO BC YOU'RE SO RIGHT ANON................like that's EXACTLY it people really do see how much people have GENUINE love for them and how strong it is and think something weird or shady or awful has to be the reason like they/he HAS to be hiding something or doing something for us to feel that way when like.......idk about u guys but like. the main draw for me about the boys IS that they're just. themselves. they literally do just act like...people? obviously online and as idols it's never 100% (nobody is online esp w/ the brandification of being online) but nothing they've ever done aside from like.....Idol Things feels......put on? they're loud and weird and a little embarrassing and cringey but they're never trying to be anyone but themselves. there's no real façade. they're willing to be open and aggressively loving and to share that with the world. they've all been through SO MUCH like. things we will never know about and even the things we DO know about is such a testament to how strong they are.

i know a lot of people like to use the fact of parasocial relationships that esp chris has w/ us (chans room likes to be used as an example) as a way to be like SEE!!!!!!! HE'S WEIRD!!!!!!!!! HE'S USING HIS FANS!!!!!!! and im just......lol? most of that show is just him....telling us stories? playing us music? does it get a little "ehhhh" sometimes? sure! i find that mostly happens bc of comments people make in chat (trauma dumping, just...being fucking weirdos in general lol), but i digress!! and like....not only that right but like........that is a two way street. chan's room is absolutely a comfort meant for us but imo esp if you watch a lot of older clips compared to now, it's really helped him too!!! he used to be much more awkward (affectionate) and stuff but now he's so much more relaxed!!!!! does he still go on tangents that make me v stressed to hear? yes. absolutely. LMAO. but that's just...him. he rambles and gets away from himself (me too king. me too.)

the boys have always been v open about how much we've helped them in general in return (hyunjin and felix actually come to mind for this specifically) (this is also why i think ateez gets a lot of the same complaints but that's for another post), like. we really are in this together. as much as stray kids themselves are a bunch of boys from all over who came together by fate (please do not get me started esp on the fate of chris and felix ending up together or 3racha), but us too. we're all truly a bunch of people who have felt lost and hurt and who found solace not only in each other as us to the kids and the kids to us, but us together as a whole as well. the people i've met here have been people i have clicked with so instantly and we're all SO SIMILAR IT'S FUNNY and there's just. such a sense of comradery and love and family that i think is very special that i've never quite felt before with other artists or with other people who've liked said artists. and maybe that's bias and romanticizing but i think it's true!!!!

anyways. as the post i saw yesterday said. we're in this stray kids shit for life now. and i'm glad to be doing it alongside all of u <3

Okay hello I have!! A thought n wanted to see if you have any ideas too, since I've been thinking abt it lately & it's making me so happy: what do you think Adam/Lawrence/Strahm's first Christmas (or whatever holiday you want!!) is like? I just like to imagine them having a lot of fun decorating + baking + maybe dancing to music in the kitchen w some wine... just them finally feeling Safe and comfortable now that they don't have to worry about Jigsaw. it's been such a nice thing 2 imagine <3

aaaaa dude.. i love christmas.. i think. like ok i think their technical first christmas is while Adam + Strahm are still on their crusade, so they don't actually spend it celebrating? + they kind of clear out bc Lawrence gets Diana for Christmas Day. but after Lawrence drops Diana back off with Alison, he swings by Strahm's apartment with leftovers and some of the cookies he and Diana had baked together and gifts for them both. bc this holiday is important to him, and so are they. which is.. honestly smthn neither Strahm nor Adam expected? but they wind up all crammed on Strahm's couch watching a beat to shit copy of rudolph Adam dug out of a box marked "holiday" that Strahm didn't even know he had, eating reheated leftovers and messily decorated sugar cookies. and it's not like.. huge or even technically christmas anymore, but its special. its meaningful.

their first christmas post-jigsaw, tho?? oh that's a THING. bc Adam has made good strides in his recovery, Lawrence has too, and Strahm is starting to process things but in general he's in a better place. they've settled into their life together and Strahm's not... festive but you BET Adam and Lawrence both are. Adam moreso in the tacky, i've-pinned-up-mistletoe-and-i'm-gonna-kiss-you-both-every-time, i-bought-you-dollar-store-reindeer-horns way VS Lawrence's more traditional sense, but still. Adam never had people to celebrate with or the means to, but now he does, and he's going to, goddamn it.

I think a huge deal for Lawrence is decorating the tree, it's something he and Diana and Alison always did together, but now it's he and Diana and Adam and Strahm. I think, much to Strahm's chagrin, he is excellent with Diana. not with kids as a whole mind you, but Diana took to him instantly and begrudgingly, he took to her. Adam definitely snaps a picture of Strahm lifting Diana up so she can put the star on top of the tree. Lawrence's favorite moment was definitely when they were sorting out the ornaments and every time Strahm asked her what a specific ornament was Diana would excitedly tell him where/who it was from, what it meant, if it was a character or just a random thing, etc

on Christmas Eve, when Alison has Diana, i really do love th image of them putting on one of Lawrence's christmas music CDs, all relaxing in the kitchen while Lawrence cooks— Strahm and Lawrence have wine, Adam has a hard cider. they eat at the table, and then pile onto the couch once the dishes are cleared up for dessert (usually hot cocoa and a pie of some sort) and a holiday move. It's A Wonderful Life is a regular choice. they'll also usually exchange some gifts, stuff that's more meaningful (they still save some gifts to open with Diana, but that morning is mostly about her! so its usually smaller stuff like clothes, things they've been wanting for around the house, etc) before crawling into bed with an alarm set so they can be up and ready by the time Alison drops Diana off w/ them

also because i can't NOT mention halloween, it is THEE holiday of all time, Adam definitely gets Strahm to dress up with him. it's about a 50/50 shot with Lawrence (Lar will at least let Adam do makeup for him but usually won't dress up) but Strahm can reliably be roped into some sort of costume. Adam's personal favorites have been: Frankenstein's Monster + The Bride (a classic), The Lost Boys sans Dwayne (Lawrence saw David and went "Fine, I will wear a black coat, black t-shirt, and jeans for you but I am NOT doing a mullet" — Strahm was Paul bc he did not feel like being Entirely shirtless in october, thank u Adam + Adam was Marko. freaky little rat twinks unite), Leatherface + Chop Top, and Roy Batty + Rick Deckard (Strahm's suggestion, actually! I think he'd like Blade Runner)

they hand out candy to trick or treaters for a while (or Lawrence does, mostly lol) + then have a late dinner and watch scary movies together. Adam's the biggest Halloween decorator out of the three of them so you can bet their yard is NUTS. inside is too tbh— sparkly halloween garlands, little ghost + pumpkin lights, skeletons hanging on a couple of the doors, etc etc etc; he loves it + Strahm and Lawrence are happy to indulge him

Alright I went to Louisville Galaxycon and saw Travis and Clint twice, for their worldbuilding workshop and their Q&A. Here's some interesting stuff I learned (I didn't include stuff they talked about that's pretty common knowledge or they talked about on the last ttazz)

Graduation 

Fitzroy was originally going to be a jock that was weak bc he no longer had a team, Travis told Griffin that that didn't really work for the world so they reframed it as him training to be a hero, was great academically and behaviorally, but had a problem no one had seen before and no one felt like dealing with. It specifically wasn't "barbarian fails bc he can't keep his rage in check," it was that no one was willing to deal with his magic so they shipped him off

Someone asked Travis to explain fitzroy's magic, so from the DM's mouth- he's a barbarian subtype with elemental magic which has a random effect while raging, which we haven't seen yet (path of the wild soul if you want to look it up and see what he can do) and he took a feat which gives him the ability to cast 3 cantrips of his choosing. What I thought was interesting was that Travis described Fitz's magic using the word "elemental" twice, even though that isn't specifically stated in the path of the wild soul entry

Travis knows Argo's secret and is very excited about it 

Clint has a pirate fiction book he reads every night before they record to get into the headspace to play Argo, he told us the name but I forgot it 

There is one small little concept that made the whole of graduation make sense to Travis and is what the arc will be about, and he only figured it out a few days before recording. Obviously he didn't tell us what it was

Originally it was going to start with everyone starting at age 11 and slowly killing the other kids off, but Justin didn't feel comfortable playing a game surrounded by kids dying 

The accounting scene is already one of Travis' all time favorite taz scenes

The pegasus scene informed Travis on exactly how he was going to treat the firbolg

Also Travis referred to Justin's character exclusively as "the firbolg," which means "master firbolg" is solely a thing going on with the npcs in the game which I find hilarious. They just all decided to give him a dope title bc he deserves it, meanwhile no one will call Fitzroy "sir"

To Fitzroy, social threats are an extremely real and serious thing, like the Biggest thing to him (we were talking about what characters found threatening in the workshop, for context)  

There's some big concept/idea that comes up in the next episode that travis almost let spill and had to quickly stop himself from saying it

Someone mentioned eating breakfast in their question in the workshop and Travis goofed on it for a second, then said "cereal world" suddenly, and Clint had to pick up the question bc Travis had to take a second to make a note of it in his phone 

Travis started brainstorming graduation in March and they recorded the first episode in October, and his main job in that time was working on graduation 

Before Buckminster was adapted for graduation he could not fight at all, if he got into a fight he would die, he poured everything into charisma and could talk his way out of any fight (even the big bad of the game he crit 20d his check and the big bad walked away from the fight) 

Travis is really into psychology and how if you assign a label to someone they're going to act more like it (ie you tell a kid they're amazing and smart and talented and they become more like that, you tell a kid they're annoying and dumb and a problem they become more like that), and how that was a major contributor to play into hero/villain/sidekick/henchperson dynamics, you get assigned this arbitrary title of good/evil/subservient and you become like that to fit the role, and then the inevitable pushing against that mold

Travis is fully aware of his story being compared to harry potter and he doesn't care bc it's apt (people in a school arbitrarily divided into four groups and one of them is the Bad One), also he knows people describe it as "sky high meets Harry Potter meets my hero academia" and he actually finds that really flattering bc he thinks that sounds cool and like something he'd want to watch 

On that note, Travis is a self-identified Slytherin and he's always upheld that the reason Slytherin is depicted in a bad light is bc Rowling decided she didn't like them, and he's always sympathized with the idea of a first year Slytherin working their ass off following the rules and doing their work and getting points, and Dumbledore rewards three idiots for breaking like every rule and pulls the trophy away from you. This was a big inspiration for graduation, of one group getting a bad rep and being portrayed as evil for literally no reason 

Amnesty

Clint & Travis's favorite scene they've ever done together was Ned & Aubrey's final scene together 

Aubrey and Dani do move in with each other at the end of amnesty

Balance

Travis' main emotion around taz is pride and he's most proud of the scene in stolen century with the spirits in the robots, bc they had to record it a second time bc it got way too dark and ended in a really grim way and about 20 min after they finished they all decided that they weren't happy with it, that it didn't fit the tone, he's really proud they didn't just leave it be and they took the second pass at it to make it right

I'm pretty sure he's talked about wanting to kill Magnus off at the beginning before but he mentioned that it was only at the end of petals to the metal he actually realized he wanted Magnus to live, bc Hurley had to sacrifice herself to save Magnus bc Magnus had been so reckless, that hit Travis really hard. Travis realized that Magnus' recklessness was getting people hurt and so Magnus did too, so Magnus become a bit more cautious and took up rogue training to try not to get anyone killed again 

Dust

Dust wasn't designed to be anything more than a one off and the workload was completely unsustainable, the document of notes for dust was about 100 pages and only about 10% of it got used

The reason Travis loved it so much was bc it was a mystery and he found it really fun

Commitment

Clint would love to revisit commitment, but probably not in podcast form bc he didn't find himself really being in the moment as much bc of all the different things he had to keep track of, he'd like to see a comic adaptation/continuation if possible

It was based of a comic he wrote that never got published bc the company producing it failed (he still cashed his paycheck) so he reused it bc he still liked it a lot, it was about how America was founded as a monarchy instead of a democracy and what that changed in the usa's (united sovereignty of america's) history, and how people now were fighting to establish a democracy. Also there were cowboys and spaceships and other cool stuff he put in there bc he liked it

General adventure zone

The reason why they're are able to do romantic relationships w/o being weirded out by it (they joke about it but they don't actually care) is bc it's never done in an explicit or sexual way and since it's the decision the characters would make to pursue the relationship then that's the decision they make. He reframed it as it wouldn't be weird if a family were writing a script together and there was a romance and one person wrote lines for one character and the other wrote lines for the other. He did mention that two siblings playing characters in a relationship as actors on screen wouldn't be cool though

They sometimes get comments that some of the stuff they do is "fanservice," but they feel that they owe their success to their fans and they owe some to them 

They are both aware of and proud that Justin is the best at character creation, Clint specifically really was talking about how Justin's strong suit is definitely character creation and characterization

General mcelroy stuff

They walked pretty close to me when they entered the stage room for the q&a and like… they're short, like shorter than you think

Travis referred to his unborn child as "baby dod" (I'm not 100% certain but I'm pretty sure) which I looked up and is a nickname for George, and given with their older kid being named Barbera and nicknamed BeBe and Travis talking before about how he and his wife like classic names with cool nicknames it makes sense

Travis had an earing in his right ear, I didn't get to see his left ear and I couldn't tell if it was an actual piercing or a fake, it looked really good though. Also his tinted glasses look a lot cooler irl than they do in pictures

Clint told the teenage mutant Ninja turtle story with the signatures that griffin told on mbmbam, but Clint remembered it as happening at King's Island, not Disney. This story was prompted by the question of the biggest lie he ever told his kids, and he only came clean about this a few months ago

Travis told a story about how he finished a videogame when he was younger and was so excited that he picked up a plastic knife, yelled "throwing knife!" threw it directly at Griffin who dodged it and it hit and shattered a window

im doing fine! i had an eye appointment yesterday and had my eyes dilated so that was a bit of a pain to deal with, but im getting new glasses! my prescription has changed Slightly so thankfully no headaches or anything lol only thing fucking w me now is allergies since pollen is UP rn and i hate it </3 summer class is almost over tho!! im going to enjoy my less than a month of chilling lol i dont even have a proper final for this class, i just have to edit my papers and resubmit them <3

I honestly think you sh/eith shippers... or maybe it's just you, I dunno... are getting ahead of yourselfs on the pairing front. Just because the staff likes a few sh/eith-related stuff doesn't mean it's going to happen. I'm also pretty sure they've teased other ships. Anyway I hate to say this to you personally, since you seem very chill and I feel really bad about coming onto your blog and sending you this. But I think I'd rather the show end w/ no endgame pairings, but at least we're all sad.

Oh! Okay, I see what you mean. As I’ve said before, the staff being a fan doesn’t hurt. It’s a bit exhausting seeing people claim the relationship can only be interpreted as brotherly, particularly when you see an episode director drawing sheith art captioned “Shiro loves you baby,” and the show runner likes fanart of them making out But I don’t mean to say that automatically makes it canon at all. I more so cite it just because it proves the staff can see their relationship in a romantic context, and are perfectly comfortable liking and supporting it that way. 

But like, that’s not the main reason I believe sheith will happen. It’s because of how their relationship is written and built up in canon. I’m a writer first and foremost and I love analyzing the narrative and visuals. That’s why I’m so into meta. I think sheith has a pretty good chance because the show runners have said they’ve been fighting for lgbt representation since the beginning and the only relationship I think reflects that would be sheith. I ship it because it’s written completely differently from Matt and Pidge’s actual sibling dynamic, so I don’t see it as brotherly. I ship it because it’s written with very purposeful parallels to zaggar. I ship it because, in Joaquim’s own words, “Keith and Shiro have the closest relationship.” (source)

I ship it because Keith is the person Shiro most desperately wants to see, because that desperate desire to be with Shiro is far more in line with unrequited love than anything platonic in my mind. I ship it because Shiro has always been there for Keith and Keith vows in turn to always save him. I ship it because of all the romantic archetypes it falls under. I ship it because friends to lovers built on mutual love and respect is my thing. I ship it because the way their background has been carefully hidden from day one makes me feel like they’re hiding something very significant about the exact nature of Keith and Shiro’s feelings. I ship it because Keith’s behavior towards Shiro is very relatable to me as a bi guy. I think their relationship would make for really great representation. And if we were just only given one lgbt character, I would still want it to be Shiro as I think he’d make for the best representation. 

Sheith is unique in that their relationship has also always been an overarching theme of the main plot, and will likely culminate in the same final decision faced by Keith in the original–choosing between saving Voltron or Shiro. Much like how Zarkon chose Honerva over the universe. And given all the foreshadow to Keith meeting this inevitable crossroad, it’s really interesting to me that we’ve already gotten another Black Paladin’s version of this story from a romantic angle. I don’t think that’s coincidental. So yeah, there are lots of reasons why I think sheith is very possible, and that basically all stems right from canon. 

And, I’m not sure how to really phrase this, but like–this kinda stuff isn’t my whole life, you know? It’s fun! :D I like it, cause it’s fun. It makes me happy. It’s nice to think about it. I get the idea that it’s too soon to celebrate or the asks worried about me being disappointed. But so many other people are very careful and cynical about it, so I don’t see any harm in being the optimistic one, you know? And I mean, I make these kinds of posts for other people who like sheith. It’s never my intent to rub it anyone’s face or anything. It’s just, this is fun for me. And I don’t see any harm in that really. My actual life is pretty anxiety ridden, depressing, and stressful. All the stuff I do here is just supposed to stay chill and be for fun. 

To get back to what you said though, I’ve seen plenty of other people say they’d rather see vld end with no ships too! It’s not something you’re alone in. Whatever makes you happy, you know? Especially with all the drama in fandom, that’s understandable. It just so happens that this is my thing though
