Important note: I’m seeing so much hate online between folks who ship Cloud x Tifa versus Cloud x Aerith…

While I prefer CloTi, I will never go after someone who doesn’t. Let fans have what they like, whether it’s considered canon or not. I won’t tolerate hate for any pairings in my orbit, and as we get closer to Rebirth’s release, I anticipate it only getting worse.

Please be kind to each other out there. We should be celebrating the game and just being fans, not tearing each other down.

I positively adore the running joke of Idia unknowingly finding Lilia to be the coolest guy ever whenever he doesn't know it's him, like when Silver described his father, or obviously with muscle red. I can't say what'd be funnier, Idia finding out his online best friend is actually Lilia, resident spooky hyper fairy; or them both never finding out, and it'd become even more ridiculous as time goes on. How do you think it'll play out ? You're always so on point

(Also, though it makes sense, I'm still devastated bat boy didn't get a ticket for the Halloween skeleton train : ( does anyone mentions him at some point ? Like how he'd have fit right in with all those Halloween town little freaks, and how he'd have impressed them with his spooks and scared techniques; after all he's been every Briar Valley's children worst fear on Halloween for centuries. I'm on the eng server and I didn't wanna spoil myself by watching the whole thing on youtube)

you and me both, Idia and Lilia being oblivious online BFFs (+ Idia being incredibly intimidated any time Silver brings up his jock gamer dad) is my favorite running joke/subplot. 🤝 it's SO good, to the point where I also am unsure if I actually want it to ever be resolved or not...maybe, like, as a post-canon stinger or something? everyone's standing around covered in overblot ink, and Idia and Lilia's phones go off at the same time...

(legit I do think this is part of why Idia couldn't be present for Lilia's dream, because for some reason Lilia decided he was going to just. embody his past self online. he probably quotes his own battle strategies or whatever in the middle of boss fights. Idia didn't pick up on the whole "oh how weird that we both live on a super remote island" thing, but he would spend thirty seconds listening to General Lilia describing siege warfare and be like "w-wait")

all that aside, however it does end up happening, I do see Lilia being very blasé and all "oh! cool!" about it. y'know, taking it very much in stride! and Idia...very much not.

(can't tell if tumblr is going to chew this into illegibility or not, this will be a fun surprise ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ)

as for Lilia sadly missing out on Halloweentown shenanigans...he does get one little mention as part of an offhand reference to the light music club, but so far no one has brought up how this basically is just Lost In the Book of Liliatown (Sebek's been too busy yelling about not getting to be in the same group as Malleus). 😔 honestly though, it's probably for the best that he got left out, because he would just settle right in and refuse to ever leave. canon would shatter. we would miss out on all the delightful angst of episode 7 because Lilia is too busy eating poisonous shrubbery inbetween practicing his very best screams, and no one can pull him away from it.

(I can hope for a sequel next year though...)

which is something he always wanted ever since he woke up in the tfa verse, he has been missing his family for so long it was taking a toll on his mental health that he managed to hide just fine

however once soundwave was defeated and the illusion broke, OP broke with it as that was his final straw, he really thought he was back home, he wanted to be back home, but the cold hard truth hit him right then and there that hes most definetly NEVER seeing home again

He always knew his mom was special, a psychic maybe. She would try hide it behind silly lies from time to time but Stanley knew it was to get the money off those poor folks- still, he always believed her when she predicted things for him, even if it was dinner (which she would be making anyway).

When he asked her if he had any powers like her, she said no. Her face twitching in a similar look she often gave their Pa when he raised his hand at her...

Stanley tried not to feel too bummed put about it- Ford was a genius with six fingers, his mother some cool witch, Shermie is pratically a hero...Stanley....the only thing special about him is how amazingly stupid dumb he is.

Still- he always knew he'd find his people! Suck it dad!

Standing here, laughing with a group of strangers that all seem captivated by his charm and jokes, Stanley feels right at home. So what if his own home and family didn't want him no more? Stan could just make his own home and family right now!

Gravity Falls is a small town but it's a town where everyone knows him and loves him. His own little family- he has cousins like the lady at the diner, grandparents like the couple in the grocery store- heck! He even has a recently rich uncle called Northwest and a weird uncle like the ugly guy that likes dancing! So screw the Pines!! (He misses Ford so much...)

Stanford dragged his assistant to town, much to his pleasant surprise- the assistant barely had time to joke about how he's finally leaving his lab to meet the town's people before realising that, yes, it is about the 'weird thing' the town kept talking about that Fiddleford mentioned.

"They're all...acting odd" his friend confirmed as they entered the diner. People gathered around a single table and Fiddleford points out each weird behaviour- the northwest wouldn't be caught dead in the diner, the police man was a workaholic and wouldn't take a break like he is now and the lady from the diner certainly never served pancakes after 2pm...

As they neared the table, the strangest thing was who was at the centre of their adored attention: Stanley, his brother.

(Or: Stanley does have powers, his mother fears them because they're powerful and she thinks by not mentioning it then it's nothing to worry about- Spoiler: it is something to worry about.

Stanley has no idea he's, quite literally, controlling people to love him)
