Note
Hi! So I have a newer idea for Daryl that popped up in my mind while shopping today. It's 100% okay if you don't want to write this, though! It is kind of long so I completely understand if you don't feel like writing this 💜
Basically, Daryl meets reader, aka Shane's fiancé, at the quarry and could instantly notice how toxic Shane was to her. She wasn't allowed to really talk to any of the guys in the camp and was forced to do most of the laundry to keep her from interacting with the rest of the group. However, one day while Shane's off doing you-know-what with Lori, Dale sends reader to go hunt with Daryl with a compound bow that he'd found. To Daryl's surprise, she's amazing at hunting and they have a little convo about Shane. They then stumble across Shane and Lori going at it like rabbits but silently retreat, not making a scene. Back at the camp, when Shane returns, reader simply just places the ring back in his hand and tells him they're over. Being free to do what she wants, she starts getting closer with Daryl over the next month or so, and when they get to the CDC, her and Daryl have this cute moment with a few people watching them and then Glenn, in his drunken stupor, makes a comment about what a cute couple they are. Cue the sudden realizations from both sides that they like each other. Can end with a confession or not. <33

I am absolutely IN LOVE with everything she writes (Daryl and Hazel is my favourite but literally everything is a masterpiece!) second: to get a request from one of my favourite authors on this app here is an ABSOLUTE HONOUR and I truly truly hope that I could somehow reach your expectations!!!! Thank you so much for sending me it, and I really hope you and everyone that reads this enjoys it ˙ᵕ˙ thank you for marking my start in writing for Daryl now too!😊
A little side note: surprise, I still can’t write short stuff, but bc tumblr is a bitch and is messing with long stuff I post, I decided to make 2 parts, so I can truly involve everything I planned, I hope that’s okay!!🤍🤍

Don‘t Talk To Strangers Or You Might Fall In Love – Pt. 1

Later in the evening, the women gathered down at the quarry once again. With each holding onto a basket of some sort, carrying the laundry of the rest of the camp residents, they had found their usual spot by the water. Their hands were already starting to get wrinkly by the amount of clothes they had to wash - it had only been a couple of days, and there was already a pile of it.
A wince from the oldest woman of the group made all three heads snap towards her, their eye following her carefully.
"Everything okay?" Jacqui asked, stopping mid-movement before she set down the soaked t-shirt she was holding.
Carol was quick to brush off her concerned tone, sending the woman a quick tight smile as she re-adjusted her position on the ground.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah," she cleared her throat. "Just... a stone."
The other women shared a quick knowing look. Yes, the surface they were sitting on was mostly stone, but not enough to get hurt or even wince the way Carol just did. She must've hit one of her bruises against the hard ground. One of the many that decorated her skin. While some of them she had clearly been able to hide underneath her clothing, the women couldn't help but notice the ones on her arms. And while some seem to fade, it didn't take much longer for new ones to appear just a day later.
"You know," Amy jumped into the conversation. "You... you don't have to share a tent with him." Everybody immediately knowing, who she meant. "You could stay in the RV, or-"
"I'm okay, Amy. Please." Carol's tone made the younger woman stop again, going right back to the task at hand. While you had hoped you'd go back to finish off your work in silence, Jaqui had other plans as she raised the volume of her voice to reach you, who was sitting a little further off.
"Well, speaking of shitty husbands." Getting a scoff out of the older woman. "Where's Shane, Y/N?" A chuckle erupted from Amy.
"Huh?" Your head shot up at the mention of his name. You found three awaiting pairs of eyes fixed on you, sending an uncomfortable rush down your spine.
"Where's your husband?" Amy repeated the question, her voice holding a slightly more gentle tone.
"He's not my husband. Just... fiancé." You shrugged. "I don't know...," mumbling as you were almost too embarrassed to admit. "He said something about going hunting."
Jacqui let out an annoyed huff of air. "That was hours ago. It's getting dark soon, doesn't he think-"
"I trust him to know how to keep himself safe. He knows what he's doing," you told her mindlessly, pouring the now dirty water back into the river in front of you.
You knew how most of the group felt about Shane. He had declared himself as the leader of your little group, thinking his status as a sheriff made him the right fit despite some of the eye-rolls and annoyed sighs it had gotten from the rest in return. It didn't seem to bother him, not even a little bit. You had tried to defend him, wanting to explain his plan of action and knowledge to the others, but he had shushed you down quickly. His own stance was enough for him to stand in front of the group of people, promising to lead them well and try to figure out how to move forward in the, what you'd now call, apocalypse.
While he was securing his place as the tough leader, commanding each person around and giving them a set role in the group, you had tried to find a sense of community. If you were to go and travel further with these people, might as well try to create some form of comradery. But that was brought to a halt before you could even truly start. By Shane.
'They're not your friends. They're just random people. We don't know them and we don't gotta know them.' He had told you. You had tried to start an argument, wanting to explain that while you didn't know most of them just yet, you might as well start now if you're going to spend more time in an enclosed area with them.
'Let's keep an eye out for Lori and Carl. She just lost her husband, for God's sake.' He never really explained just how he knew that Rick was officially dead, but the two members of the Grimes family seemed to be his only concern. The fact that you had known Glenn for a while now and considered him a close friend, almost a younger brother, didn't even register with him. He was just 'another dirty man, just like the rest of them' to Shane. He had made his opinion of the members of your group very clear. They're strangers. If it wasn't about Lori and Carl, it wasn't important. Why you were the one washing their clothes though was still beyond you though.
Jacqui was just about to open her mouth again, not wanting to drop the topic of conversation just yet, but a loud voice from up the quarry got your attention.
"Ya just don't give a shit, ya old bastard!" Daryl's uncanny accent echoed through the open area.
While a deep sigh tumbled from Carol's lips, Amy tried to ignore the fight a few feet away from you and Jacqui shook her head.
"These Dixon brothers, I swear to God... I don't understand why we haven't made them leave yet."
"Daryl's a good hunter," Amy commented quietly with a slight shrug.
"Yeah, and selfish," the older woman spat back, "And Merle? He's nothing but dragging everyone here down."
You decided to leave the scene in silence, not wanting to add anything to the conversation. You believed that everyone had a good reason for acting and behaving the way they were. You'd like to think that your good nature was part of the reason why Shane fell in love with you. Your years of dealing with children coming from troubled families had taught you that there's mostly good in almost everyone, just that most hadn't had the chance to find that side of them yet. In some ways, the Dixon brothers' attitudes reminded you of them.
Back in the camp, you brought the washing bowl back to where the rest of the clean laundry was already hanging to dry. Before you could go any further, hoping to find some alone time in your tent, Dale's voice made you stop.
"Y/N!"
You looked up at the top of his RV, where he had secured a chair, a small table and an umbrella to keep the sun from frying his skin.
"Hey, Dale," you smiled at the older man, who copied your facial expression. While some had come to find him to be a 'typical grumpy old man' - and by some you mean Shane - you and Dale had gotten closer over the short time you had spent in the group. He reminded you of your dad, who at that point in time was God knows where. You hoped he found a group similar to yours and was trying to find his place in the world you would now be living in.
"You know how to use a bow and arrow, right?" He asked you, remembering the story you had told him.
You nodded, shielding your eyes with one hand as the sun was starting to make them hurt. "My dad taught me a little, why?"
"Look what I found," he grinned before turning around to pick something up. He crouched down, now with a compound bow in his grip as he tried to get it down to you. With quick steps, you got closer, your eyes brightening up at the sight.
"Oh my god... Dale!" Your smile only widened once you got your hands on the bow. You let your hand glide over the metal, finding it to be heavier than expected. It was still in perfect condition, but you couldn't even finish admiring it before your eyes found another item being dropped down at you.
"Those were next to it," Dale added as he handed you a bag holding multiple arrows that were hopefully supposed to go with the bow. He watched your smile as you couldn't take your eyes off the archery tool. "You think you know how to handle that thing?"
"I mean... my dad taught me how to use a longbow, but... can't be that hard, right?"
The older man couldn't even answer you as a scoff erupted from behind you, followed by the familiar scruff voice of Darly.
"Ya think it's that easy." Stating it more than wondering. Knowing not to start a conversation with him unless truly needed, only able to imagine how Shane would react if he found you talking to him, you decided to ignore his comment, focusing back on Dale who seemed to have done the same.
"Where did you find it?" You asked him.
"Oh just... from a house a few minutes away. Thought you could use it."
"I don't know when yet, but... I'll try," you smiled at him.
"How about you go and try it out now?" He suddenly asked you.
His question made your head shoot back up to look at him in wonder. "Now? What do you mean?"
He sighed. "It's gonna get dark soon and Shane and Lori aren't back yet, we should try-"
"Lori?" Her name fell from your lips as you glanced around the area, only finding the youngest Grimes sitting in the grass, entertaining himself with some sticks and stones. "Where is she?"
Dale shrugged. "Said something about finding berries and whatnot-" Another scoff from behind you made him stop to shoot Daryl an annoyed glance. "I think we should try to at least get something to eat for the kids. And if they're not back anytime soon, they won't have dinner."
"What? My huntin' skills ain't enough for you, old man?" The younger Dixon brother shot up from his crouched position on the floor, nudging his head up at Dale, who was clearly annoyed by his attitude.
"A squirrel isn't gonna feed an entire group. Take Y/N with you and try finding something."
"Dale-"
"Shane's not here, honey," he immediately stopped you, apparently already knowing what your argument would be. "I think he'll be okay, knowing you were out finding something to eat for the kids."
"That asshole would rather watch 'em kids die than send her huntin' with any of us!" Daryl spat back, ignoring you standing right next to him.
He turned your head towards him. "Don't talk about him like that." Speaking to him in a much softer tone than he just did, only getting a shake of his head and an annoyed mumble in return before he turned his back towards you, making his way towards the woods. A quick glance back up at Dale made him nudge his head towards the direction the archer had just disappeared into. You could either get sulky and refuse to go with the man who had clearly other interests than to go hunting with you or you could be the bigger person and focus on bringing something into the community. Even if that meant rebelling against your partner's order to stay at the camp and focusing on the laundry in the quarry. You decided on the latter, knowing that he'd find something to get annoyed at one way or another.
With a sigh, you nodded to Dale's proposal and swung the bag of arrows over your shoulder. Turning around to follow the way Daryl had just strutted, your eyes found his silhouette already between the trees. It was uncanny. Anyone could tell it was him. His zero-fucks attitude and his arms just casually hanging by his side- The pop of his hips with each step he took just underlined the sass that man possessed almost making you chuckle.
Unlike a lot of the other members of the group, you didn't necessarily dislike him. His brother was a totally different subject. They were difficult to deal with and most definitely not the teamwork type of personalities - not directly at least. You had noticed the multiple times Daryl would vanish from sight, only to come back a few hours later with a few dead squirrely thrown over his shoulder, that he would then give to the group after skinning them. It was absolutely disgusting, to say the least, but he did his part to be a valuable part of the community, even if he might had been a unique character and more challenging to deal with.
What Merle's issue was, you had yet to discover, but the man didn't intrigue you enough to bore into his background story.
A good few minutes in, you still hadn't caught up with the archer, his steps being way bigger and faster than yours. Panting, you hoped he would hear you.
"Can you slow down for a second? Please."
Not following your words, Daryl kept up his pace, only turning his head slightly. "Don't need yer husband to see us together out'ere or we'll be the ones rotatin' over the fire instead of a dear."
You couldn't help but roll your eyes at his comment, even scoffing loudly at what you had just heard, and mumbling too quietly for him to hear.
Your reaction made him suddenly stop in his tracks and turn his entire body towards you. "What? Ya think I'm kiddin'? I seen the way he talks to ya and everyone else in that godforsaken camp. Treats everyone like shit if it ain' abou' that woman or the kid."
Your glare didn't even intimidate him a bit. Neither did he budge when you took a daring step closer to him.
"How about you focus on yourself and stay out of other people's business? He's trying to be a leader, alright?"
"More like tryna be a dictator. Mussolini woulda loved him." Without another word, he turned around to continue his way further into the woods, leaving you in slight surprise rooted into the ground. A shake of your head and a deep breath brought you back into the present, making you follow him again. You tried to keep the distance between big enough to keep him away from you, let close enough to still have him in view - you sure as hell weren't going to get lost in the middle of the woods.
Looking down to be careful about each step you took, you held onto the strap across your chest. With your view on the ground, you didn't notice Daryl having stopped again, making you suddenly bump into him.
"Oh- sorry." You took a quick jump back.
He had lifted up his arm to the side, keeping you from going any further. Only after looking up, you could follow his gaze, finding what had gotten the archer so enthralled. Between the bushes surrounding you ahead on a tree, there were two chipmunks perked up on a branch. They hadn't noticed you yet and if it hadn't been for Daryl's eagle eye, you had to admit, you would've overlooked them as well.
Suddenly, overly confident, you realised this was the moment you could prove your skill. A skill you hadn't trained for in a few months, but you had long enough training before that, you believed. Swiftly, you grabbed a bow from the bag on your back and took a slow step back, careful not to make any loud noise to disrupt the two animals. Daryl had his crossbow already sitting on his shoulder, his eye trained on the chipmunks as he kept totally still.
"On three," you whispered as you drew the bow in your grip. You couldn't see the archer's slight confusion as he didn't budge, only knowing he had heard you when he suddenly started counting down. As soon as the number 'three' left his lips, you let your arrow shoot through the sky, him going at the exact same time, pressing the trigger on his crossbow. The two bows hit the chipmunks perfectly in sync, making them fall from the branch and onto the floor.
"Yes!" You whispered to yourself in a cheer, brushing past Daryl with a wide smile on your face as you made your way over to where your prey was waiting for you.
The man continued to stand still, only his eyes following your movements as his eyebrows scrunched together in confusion. Only a few seconds later, he found you standing up straight again, proudly holding up one of the chipmunks. He followed your steps, coming to a stop as he looked down at the other animal still on the floor.
"Was that beginner's luck or...?" He asked you as he gathered it off the ground and took out his arrow before taking its companion out of your hands to put both of them into the small bag he had secured by his hips. Your eyes drifted to his arms. Glistening in the sun behind you. He had been collecting dirt all over his body, but the sweat now on his biceps was making it look only half as bad.
You shrugged, not even trying to hide the small smile still on your lips. "Maybe a little since I haven't used one of these in a while," holding up the compound bow.
"Who taught ya?" In surprise, you glanced at him, not expecting to continue the conversation as you went back to resume your hunting journey through the woods.
"My dad."
You noticed his steps suddenly slowing down again, making you turn towards him in wonder. A finger brought up to his lips told you everything you needed to know. Daryl started looking around carefully, while you just turned in a circle, wondering what he had heard. And then you saw it. A 'geek', as Glenn had labelled them, was making its way towards you.
"How on earth did you hear that?" You whispered at him, but the archer just propped his crossbow up again, ready to take out the thing coming dangerously close towards you. The noises coming from the dead had only then started to register with you too. Maybe it was your hearing turning on you or maybe Daryl had just a trained ear. Realising that he was close to shooting again, you stopped him with a hand.
"Can I?"
With a careful look, he lowered his weapon again, motioning for you to go ahead, bringing a small grin to your face. His hand was quicker than yours as he pulled out a bow from your bag, handing it over to you before leaving you to do your thing. Drawing it tightly, you didn't let a lot more seconds pass before sending the arrow straight through the geek's eye.
"Fuck, yeah-" Grinning to yourself for a split second before you realised the words that had dropped from your tongue. "Sorry," you were quick to apologise, getting a look of pure confusion from Daryl in return.
"What? Ya not allowed to curse or somethin'?" Oh, if he only knew. After years of being with Shane, you had found yourself truly swearing off the usage of any curse words as your fiancé had labelled them 'unladylike', sending you a look of disapproval each time it would escape you accidentally. Strict looks had turned into warnings, which then turned into arguments, so you had just learned to bite your tongue.
You were about to head up to get it back, back Daryl's voice stopped you.
"Stay'ere." He walked past you towards the now truly dead thing to get your arrow back. After ripping it out of its head again, he took a good look around, turning his entire body before coming back to you.
"They're usually not alone," he pushed the arrow into your hands. "Let's see what else we can find and get the hell outta 'ere before it gets dark."
You just nodded in agreement before following him again. This time, you noticed walking side by side with him as he had slowed down his strides.
To you, it seemed like a relatively comfortable silence, but Daryl didn't agree with that apparently as his grunt slashed through it,
"Yer husband know you can hunt?"
A sigh evidently fell from your lips, but you were able to hold back a roll of your eyes. He was trying to keep up the conversation and you couldn't not admit that you quite enjoyed not necessarily having to walk in complete silence. Even if it meant talking about Shane apparently.
"Don't know," you shrugged.
"What d'ya mean, ya don't know? Yer never talked about that? Ain't he supposed to know ya inside out or some shit like that?" You knew, deep down his words held nothing but truth, yet, you had learned to ignore remarks like that, knowing that Shane was just a different kind of partner than most.
"Why should he know about something he's not interested in?" As long as you weren't out on your own and at home in the evening with a homecooked meal waiting for him, he had never truly cared about what you did. Lying, you'd be out with your friends for a few hours while doing something completely different had gotten you far. Him working late hours most days only helped. You never even thought about telling him about the childhood hobby you had started at 8 years old and had carried with you up until well into adulthood. While you had left home as soon as you had turned 18, knowing Atlanta was the place you'd want to study in, archery was one of the things that had kept you connected to home. To your dad.
"That don't sound righ' if ya ask me," he commented.
"Well," you couldn't help but sigh again, "good thing he's not your issue to worry about."
"But he is." His comment made you stop. Daryl was quick to notice you not walking beside him anymore, making him stop and turn. "I gotta worry about him havin' my balls on a stick if he sees me talkin' to ya."
"Then don't!"
"Then why d'ya follow me into the woods, huh?" It looked like you were about to start a fight with Daryl Dixon.
"Because Dale asked me to. Because no one trusts you to do anything good for the group on your own," you spat at him, continuing your way, making sure to bump his shoulder as you passed him.
The archer scoffed, "Yeah because everyone trusts ya lil' husband oh so much to care for every-"
You came to another halt. "He's not my husband! We're engaged, you ignorant fuck!"
"Oh, careful," Daryl eyed you, "What would'e say if he heard ya talkin' like that, huh?" Sending you a provocative look that made you take a deep breath in, trying to contain your anger.
"I think you got a brother to worry about, Dixon. Enough drama there, don't snoop into other people's lives."
That seemed to have done the job as he kept quiet while you walked ahead. It took a few seconds before you heard him behind you again, proud of yourself for leaving him stunned even if it was just for a short moment. You didn't want to snap at him like that, you had to admit. It just came out and if you could take it back, you would've. He wasn't directly snooping, you knew that. You weren't here to make enemies, at least you didn't want to. You desperately wanted to get along with everyone as best as possible. Not meaning that you'd have to become close friends with each person in the group, just good colleagues.
With your mind deep in thought, overthinking every word you had just dropped, you didn't notice the ruffling leaves close by. Not until you felt a tug on your arm that made you stop. Almost annoyed, you turned around, only to find Daryl lifting his finger to his lips, telling you to keep quiet. At first, you looked at him in confusion but the moment you heard a grunt, your ears perked up as you started to glance around. You had just ran into a geek with the Dixon brother reminding you that they usually travelled in bigger groups, meaning the possibility of another one being close by wasn't that small.
The grunting continued making your frown only deepen. It didn't necessarily sound like one of the dead, you realised. Daryl started moving around slowly and as quietly as possible, you following close behind, keeping ducked down just in case.
Suddenly, you caught another noise. One that sounded less like a grunt and more like a... moan? Clearly just as confused as you, the archer turned around to meet your gaze for a split second.
With each step the two of you took further, the noises became much clearer. Shuffling leaves, grunts, and clear moans were now hitting your ear. One specific huff of air made a cold shiver run down your spine. It's like your body knew before your eyes could even see it.
Daryl and you hit a raised ground that kept you from seeing where the noise was coming from as you were still crouched down. But as soon as you let your back straighten, every last bit of air left your lungs. You saw the auburn hair spread out on the grass first. Directly next to it, an all too familiar head of black curls, the face deep in her neck, muting the moans coming from him. With each pound, they became heavier and louder. You already knew it. Right as Shane lifted his head though, you could feel yourself wanting to scream. And if it wasn't for the hand suddenly covering your mouth, you would've.
You were pulled onto the ground, back into your crouched position, and dragged back from where you came from. As hard as you tried to fight the grip the archer had on you, it was no use as he was clearly much stronger than you. The leaves and branches brushed against your pants as he kept tugging on you to keep you right up against him, not daring to loosen the hand covering your lip
Once it seemed far away enough for him, Daryl let go of you, letting you fall to the ground completely as you desperately choked up for air.
"You bastard-" You went at him, only for him to cover your mouth once again.
He pulled you in hard. "Ya screamin' 'ere and an entire hoard will hear ya. Keep quiet," he hissed at you in a whisper. You never noticed the soft specks of green that decorated his striking blue eyes. Not until then.
A quick moment of silence followed as your eyes suddenly filled with tears. Daryl's gaze softened immediately, removing his hand from you as if your skin had turned into burning hot metal.
While you had started to sob in the middle of the woods, trying to keep as quiet as possible, the archer didn't know what else to do, but to stand next to you, his eyes fixed on your shaking shoulders. He wasn't the right person to console someone. Nor did he even know how.
"I told ya he's an asshole," he mumbled, clearly not at the right moment as you sent him an angry frown.
"You didn't tell me sh-"
"I tried tellin' ya!" Raising his voice just a bit to turn his tone stern, yet keeping the volume low enough. "I told ya he ain't interested in anyone but that woman and her son."
"I want to go back," you sniffled, feeling your chest painfully tightening.
"Go back to 'em?!"
"Back to the camp, idiot!" You snapped at him, your hand flying up to your chest. "I feel like I'm gonna throw up." Trying to take deep breaths in that just continuously proved to be hard as you only choked up more. Coughing mixed with your sobs, you fell onto your knees, your hand clutching the very top of your chest as you tried to breathe.
"Hey-" Daryl fell onto the ground right in front of you, his rough hands grabbing you by your shoulders to pull you straight, trying to get you to look at him. "Calm down," he strictly told you.
"H-He-" you sobbed, "he... fucked her. He just-", coughing again as the air got stuck in your throat.
"I know- hey-" you lowered your head to look at the ground beneath you, only for Darly to grab your chin and make you look back up again. "He's a fuckin' idiot. Don't cry 'bout him."
"W-What did I do?" You asked, technically hypothetically, as you continued to choke on your own cries. "What do- How?!"
"Ya didn't do anythin'," he tried to console you. "He's a dumb fuckin' bastard. A coward. A stupid mongo-"
"Lori... I-I thought-," stopping yourself again as another sob shot through your body.
"It's okay," Daryl whispered, "don't fuckin' cry for 'em. Ya think they would cry for ya?"
"What about Carl?!" You ignored his comment, instead continuing to throw out whatever came to your head.
The archer shook his head, "That ain' your problem to worry 'bout."
"She- she just lost her husband... a-and now this?!"
Before Daryl could say anything, you brushed off his hands from your shoulders and raked yourself up.
Still sniffling, you looked around. "We gotta go back." Noticing that the sun had already started to set and no one was supposed to be out in the dark.
With a grunt, he copied you, pushing himself up to stand again while his eyes continued to follow you as you tried to get yourself back together. You could feel his gaze burning holes into your skin, making you look up. Cheeks tears stained, burning read. Your eyes were swollen, still letting single drops of tears escape as you slowly managed to even out your breathing.
"Let's go back." You re-secured the bag and bog on your shoulder before turning around to walk to the camp. A sigh escaped Daryl's lips as he shook his head slightly before jogging up towards you, stopping you with his hands back on your shoulders. He swiftly turned you around, only to let go again, his steps slowing down to let you walk ahead. This time, in the right direction.
The way back was spent mostly in silence, only a few remarks coming from the archer each time he had to tell you to either turn right or left. In no time, you had come back, finding most of the group either already back in their tents or gathered by the SUV. The sun had fully set, now the only source of natural light coming from the soft glow of the moon.
"There you are!" Dale called out as soon as his eyes found you. The smile that had started to spread on his lips fell quickly as soon as you got close enough to him to let him see the dishevelled state you were in. "What happened?" He gasped, but you just shook your head and made a quick B-turn towards your tent. The tent you shared with Shane.
The older man's tone changed quickly, clearly blaming one specific person for your mood as he followed behind you not much later.
"What the hell did you do to her?" Dale snapped at Daryl, only to get a scoff in return.
"How abou' you ask her asshole fiancé." The Dixon brother left him with that, ignoring the looks of the people around them. He opened his satch to take out the two chipmunks you had caught, only to throw them onto a set-up table and disappear down towards the quarry.
In the comfort of the plastic walls, with the bow and arrows set down outside, you had let yourself let go one more time, the tears not needing more than mere seconds before running down your cheeks again. You couldn't continue crying about this.
'Ya think they would cry for ya?'
Daryl's words rang through your mind. You hated to admit that he was most probably right.
Your relationship with Shane wasn't tense. At least until a few months ago. It had always been a little bit more difficult than you would've liked to, but you remembered the words of your mother, saying 'marriage is hard', making you realise that most likely each couple had their fair share of issues to work through. And you and Shane seemed to just have a good amount of those. Either disagreements, discussions, or different ideas and wants. Everything from as simple as the colour of your living room walls, to which state you'd have your wedding in - since your grandma was almost bedridden, you had proposed to have at least the officiant ceremony in Ohio, but Shane was, surprise, against that.
You glanced down at your ring. A gold band, holding a small square diamond right in the middle. It was beautiful. Even though you had always solely worn silver jewellery and had mentioned the classic round diamond as your dream style. Still, you had accepted the proposal. You looked past the smirks he would send waitresses and secretaries. Ignored comments he made about other people in your life. You had even given in and promised him not to get too close to anyone in the group that was right outside.
It was never 'controlling' in your eyes. You didn't know any better. But while you had to lock yourself away, making doing laundry your only form of 'entertainment', he was having fun with a presumed widow. Whereas he had told you and everyone else that he would be spending the day trying to hunt down 'something big'.
You shook your head. You had all the reasons to leave him already months ago and yet you didn't. A lot of your friends had told you you'd regret marrying him. But he had managed to get into your head, making you think that they were the crazy ones. That all of your 'dumb sorority girlfriends' had no idea what they were talking about.
Comments and stares were one thing you could look past, but cheating... you had to draw the line somewhere. You remembered all the times your college friends came crying into the dorm, sobbing into their pillows as they complained about their boyfriends fucking around with other girls on campus. Everyone would gather and support them with one opinion: dump him. Leave him. He doesn't deserve you.
'I told ya he ain't interested in anyone but that woman and her son.'
There was Daryl's voice again in the back of your head. Screaming at you. If even he could see it, yet you were too blind to realise it...
With one final deep breath in, you gathered the sleeping bag you had claimed for yourself into your arms, along with your pillow. You managed to drag everything out of the tent, suddenly feeling more free than ever.
Looking around, you found no one sitting outside anymore, indicating most had gone to bed, but the light inside the RV made you hopeful. You couldn't sleep in your shared tent tonight. Or ever again. And Dale was your only other choice. With everything packed in your arms, you made your way over to the vehicle, knocking on the door with your foot. Two voices made you look behind you, your face immediately falling when you found Shane and Lori coming back from the woods. They took their goddamn time.
The door opened, catching your attention again. Dale looked at you in confusion but before he could say anything, you beat him to it.
"Can I sleep here tonight?"
Forget about your age. Suddenly, you felt like a little kid again. Too scared to sleep on their own, begging their parents to let them sleep in their room.
"Y/N?" Shane's rough voice called out your name, making your heartbeat quicken.
You looked up at the older man in panic. "Please."
With no hesitation, Dale nodded, stepping aside to let you walk in, ushering you inside with his hand. Daryl's remark from earlier had engraved itself in his brain as soon as he found the sheriff strutting over to his RV in big steps.
"What is she doing, Dale?" He wondered, his voice holding slight anger to it. "Y/N!" He shouted out your name again, but you gave him no response.
The older man stopped Shane from coming any closer.
"You better leave, son."
"What the fuck did I do?!" He unknowingly asked before getting the RV's door closed in his face.
The moment silence took over the enclosed room, Dale turned to you, now sitting on the small sofa.
"What the fuck did he do?"
If there was one person in this apocalyptic world that you had come to trust, it was Dale. He had already let you into his home, he deserved to get a reason for it.
You could already feel the tears filling your eyes again. Both of you ignored the knocks on the door, the old man's eyes fixed solely on you as he sat down by the small dining table, ready to wait patiently for you to answer his question.
"He... he cheated on me...," You couldn't hold back the sob that followed. "With Lori." The added remark made Dale's eyebrows shoot up in surprise. He leaned back into his chair, taking off his hat to run a hand through his hair as he huffed out a chunk of air.
"Daryl and I- we saw them in the woods-," You let your head fall into the palms of your hand. The old man was quick back on his feet, on his way over to you.
"Oh, honey," sighing out, but stopping as the heavy knocks on the door continued. With an annoyed huff, he rushed over to the door to pull it open.
"Get the fuck away from my RV!" Shouting at Shane, not even giving him a moment to answer as he smashed the door close again.
"I-I don't know what to do." You admitted in sobs, glancing up at the man as he got closer to you, making space to sit down next to you. A comforting arm found its way around your shoulder while his other hand rubbed your upper arm.
"That man doesn't deserve an angel like you," he whispered at you, hoping his calming voice would soothe your cries. "He clearly doesn't know what he lost with a stupid act like that."
"He proposed to me," you showed him the ring in desperation. "Only to cheat on me?"
"What can I tell ya, kid... young men are...," Dale sighed as he shook his head. "Dumb... and blind. They think they own the world."
You continued to sob in the man's arms. Listening to his soft voice as he spoke to you while you kept on your rambles of despair. Why Lori out of all people? You used to go out on double dates with your partners. You had known Rick Grimes for a good few years now. He was a good man. You had thought Lori was a good woman. But there she went, sleeping with an engaged man. The colleague, and best friend of her husband. Who may or may not be dead. Maybe Rick was gone, but you were still there. Only one partner of the cheating couple was widowed. The other part was still very much in a committed relationship. Or so you thought.
"W-What do I do now?" You wondered out loud. "How am I supposed to continue this?" Not necessarily talking about your relationship with Shane, but the situation altogether.
"You don't." Daryl's simple but straightforward answer made you look up. In the meantime, your sobs had quieted down again.
"What?"
"You tell him," he strictly told you. "You tell him what you saw. And you end it. Men like that... they don't change."
"God...," you fell back into the cushions behind you, running your hands down your face as you wiped the tears away. "Was I just... not good enough for him anymore? Why would he do something like this?"
"I wish I could tell ya, honey. But don't think that this has anythin' to do with you," Dale's stern voice made you glance at him. "Men like him don't think. You think he really thought of the possible consequences of his actions?"
You shrugged.
"He didn't. If he did, he wouldn't have done it. And men like don't deserve a second chance. Hell- they don't even deserve a first chance. But they're charming and whatnot, and before you know it, they're havin' their dicks in other women, breaking hearts of the ones that actually care about them."
You decided to stay quiet, letting his words sink in and register with you.
"You don't deserve that, honey."
Nodding your head, you took a deep breath in, wiping your nose. "I know..." With a sigh, you pushed yourself to stand up. "I have to talk to him."
"You sure, you wanna do that tonight?" The man carefully asked you, but you had already made up your mind, so you just continued to nod.
Quietly, you left the RV, of course not before Dale promised to set up a bed for you to stay in inside his movable home. You knew you had found the confidence to face your- Shane. Yet, your shaking legs and hands almost betrayed you. Realising, you didn't even truly think about how to start the conversation, the anxiety inside of you only started to bubble up more, hitting its highest point when you suddenly saw Shane exiting your tent.
His eyes fixed on you in the dark, finding your silhouette coming towards him thanks to the light shining through the RV's windows.
"Y/N-" he started, but you interrupted him right away.
"It's over."
Shane's eyebrows scrunched together. "What?"
"It's over," you repeated, finding your voice slightly shakier than you would've liked to. You glanced down your hands, almost mindlessly, wrapping your fingers around the gold band. Once, the sight of the shimmering ring on your finger made you smile, now it just shot another wave of sadness through your body. Almost shakingly, you took the last step, pulling the gold band off your finger, the metal leaving your skin, making you breathe out heavily.
"Hey- hey," the sheriff rushed closer to you, making you scoot back in reflex. "What the fuck are you doing?"
"What am I doing?" You spat at him, a salty chuckle tumbling from your lips. There was a slight change in expression on his face as he lifted his hands in defence.
"Listen-"
"No, you listen," you stopped him again. You didn't even let your brain think about what words were about to fall from your lips. "Don't even try-" You had to stop yourself, taking a deep breath in, trying to promise yourself not to cry in front of the man that you had lost so many nerves to.
"What the hell are you doing?" He continued to ask you, his frown only deepening.
But you just continued to shake your head, ignoring the anger starting to lace his voice. You had seen Shane angry before. Even angry at you. And it scared you. But right now, the anger, you were trying to hold back, should terrify everyone involved in this situation.
Taking a few steps closer to stop right in front of him, you lifted your hand that was still tightly holding onto the ring you had once worn and shown off proudly. Once Shane opened his palm underneath it, you let it drop down.
"It's over." Before he could ask you anything more, you left him with one last comment hanging in the air. "Have fun with Lori."
Turning around, you could hear his heavy huffs and the callouts of your name, yet he didn't even dare to try and reach out to you, leaving you to make your way back towards the RV. In the back, the sound of him knocking over some of the empty cans you had gathered, filled the silence. Up ahead, you found a silhouette standing still, almost scaring you if it wasn't for the distinct stance you were able to recognise immediately. The dim light illuminated Daryl's scowl as he had clearly watched the scene from a distance.
Arrived at the door of the vehicle, you wanted to at least send him a tight smile, a goodnight and somewhat of a thank you, but the archer had already disappeared again in his usual nature.

Ten thousand TRILLION percent yes T. Be a real human Social Media is not even ‘real’ nor is it everyone’s outlet, the be all and end all for where feelings and opinions live and die be your own human have your values live true to them fuck everyone with two thumbs and a social media account who can’t mind their own business. She’s a wonderful person with a ginormous heart and strong values she does not ever have to justify or be a spokesperson for every single cause on this planet. Being real and actioning real change and conversations off line is is important do people really think saying the same sentence as everyone else on social media is actually going to single handedly change anything NO it takes actual physical action and using your brain not your thumbs on Twitter. These platforms are built precisely for hiding your true self and being fake there is next to no sincerity in simply typing the same words everyone else is just to seem empathetic.. it’s not.

Uneasy Revelations
Fandom: Elder Scrolls Online
Pairing: Darien Gautier x Fem!Werewolf!Vestige
Rating: T
Warning(s): Werewolves, Supernatural Transformation, Mentions of a -medium- Panic Attack, etc.
Words: 983
AN: I'm sloooowly working through my list of WIP's. In no particular order but still.
A convo about werewolves and angst with @lithiumrev lead to a deliciously angst-y mini fic with unexpected confessions and forgiveness. Which I very lovingly snuck off with, cleaned up a bit to fit the DC storyline, and ran with. ;D
Dairen and the Vestige are kinda sorta in a relationship? Not "official" official but definitely in the heavy flirting stage. There's some feelings.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Darien took a shaky step back as the adrenaline cleared and he returned to his surroundings. His heart suddenly plummeted to his stomach- he couldn't believe what he was seeing with his own two eyes;
The Vestige, standing right where the werewolf had just been. With a sword in her gut. The very sword he just used to fend off the lycanthrope.
“Oh by the Eight, what have I done?!” he screamed. Seeing her as a werewolf brought back so many bad memories from Camlorn, it was only natural he reacted the way he did. He collapsed to one knee and started to assess the situation. By that time the Vestige started to come to and glance up at him, Gabrielle had caught up to them. “Darien! What—" she tried to ask but was caught off guard by an uncharacteristic sob.
“I didn't mean to!” he choked, “It was a werewolf, but then it was Her!”
“Go get my healing staff!” Gabrielle hollered, “Now!” Darien ran to go get it, as the mage checked the Vestige's pulse. “Still strong. That's good," she muttered to herself.
“Here.” Darien gasped, handing her the staff. "I-I didn't realize-" before he could finish his sentence, Gabrielle grabbed his arm.
"Listen to me. Hey- Listen," she grabbed his hand and placed it on the Vestige's chest. “Do you feel that?”
“… Yes.”
“That's her heartbeat. The fact she still has one is a good sign. Now I need you to keep your hand there and tell me if it weakens or stops. Can you do that for me?”
“Yeah, I can.”
The mage worked in a tense silence, glowing hands hovering above the Vestige's chest, making their way down to the gut wound. “I know why you did it, and I know we should have told you," she began. “But after the liberation of Camlorn she... She was terrified that you would leave.” Darien had the Vestige's head in his lap and was monitoring her pulse as best he could while his thoughts were racing. “Daire? Did you hear me?”
“Y-Yes.” he answered shakily, taking in her features. Her paling face and shallow breathing were all he could focus on.
Just as Gabrielle was finishing with the bandages, the Vestige's eyes flew open and she gasped, hard. The looks on her comrades faces told her everything- she knew what had transpired without either of them saying a word.
"Darien?! Oh gods, I'm so sorry! I'm so so sorry-!" Darien stopped her mid-sentence with a bone-crunching hug.
"Oh thank the Eight- thank the Eight you're okay-" he choked again. "I'm so glad you're alive-"
Gabrielle let out a small chuckle. “I’ll give you two some space. Come get me if something happens, okay?”
As their panic subsided and the renewed adrenaline tapered off, Darien scooped the Vestige up and carried her to one of the nearby infirmary tents. Luck was once again on their side, as the tent was empty. As he kneeled and gingerly laid her down on one of the cots, he caught a glimpse of the bandages on her belly. He felt a little sick seeing them, knowing he was the reason she needed them.
“I don't know what to say…” he said quietly.
“Just... sit with me, please,” she answered. “Talk to me about how this makes you feel.”
“To be honest, I don't know if I can.”
“Well, just talk, then. About anything. I know this hurts you too.”
"You have no idea, Vestige."
Darien proceeded to ramble about everything that popped into his mind- The panic when he saw the werewolf, how he felt when he first realized it was her, how scared he was when he realized what he did-
How sorry he was. How so incredibly sorry he was, the guilt was eating him up. It was a split-second panic decision, he had no idea it was her.
She listened quietly, taking in his words and hearing him out. Her eyes closed after a minute, and she laid her head on his chest plate as his arm wrapped comfortingly around her shoulders.
"I know I should have told you," she murmured as his hand rubbed up and down. "I'm sorry about that. It's just... I know how badly what happened in Camlorn affected you. I didn't want you to leave..."
Darien inhaled through his nose as he processed what she just said. Him? Leave her? Unthinkable. And he told her as much. "I wouldn't ever dream of it, my dear."
A small chuckle escaped her tired lips. "I know this probably makes you uncomfortable, but- That transformation was rather sudden for me as well. I didn't intend for you to find out like-"
He interrupted her with a tender kiss on her temple. "It surprised me at first, I'll admit. I was wondering why there was one rogue werewolf attacking the others. Should have known it was you when I couldn't find you on the battlefield.
"But you helped so much when you transformed. I can forgive you for that."
The Vestige looked up at him and blinked. "Just like that? You're okay with it? After what happened in Camlorn?"
He nodded. "Of course. You had nothing to do with that. At least I hope you didn't."
"I assure you I did not."
"Good. Then all is forgiven. We can figure this out. Just- don't, uh, "wolf out" when I'm around, alright? Don't think I could take that sight."
She chuckled. "I will do my best not to."
~*~
Gabrielle leaned against the support post outside the tent, just out of sight from the entrance. She had brought some extra healing supplies in case the Vestige needed it, but after her (mostly) unintentional eavesdropping, she knew her friend would be fine. Besides, Darien could keep an eye on her.
If he could remain focused on the task at hand, that is.
___________________________________________
Rui x Kaito (PLATONIC) Kaito is mine alskaksjaj
Lee: Rui
Ler: Kaito
Warnings: Tickles! My love for Kaito~!
___________________________________________
Rui was feeling quite frustrated. None of his inventions seemed to be working out. No matter how hard he tried they just wouldn't perform how he wanted them to. I guess he was having an off day today. In hopes of letting go of some steam, he decided to head over to the Sekai. Maybe a change of scenery will serve him well.
When he arrived, he noticed that none of the vocaloids nor plushies were around. Good, he could really use some peace and quite right now. He sat down on a nearby bench and took a deep breath, trying to clear his mind. Suddenly, he heard a familiar voice pop up from behind.
"Rui? What are you doing here?" It was none other than Kaito. He could tell something was bothering Rui based on the unusual frustrated expression on his face.
"Oh Kaito...I didn't think anyone else was here".
"I saw you coming in all alone and was worried something had happened. Is everything okay?".
Rui could tell he truly was worried for him, after all, the others didn't call him 'Big brother Kaito' for nothing.
"Well since you asked..." Rui proceeded to explain all his frustrations to Kaito as the blue vocaloid took a seat next to him, listening intently.
"I see...that does sound pretty frustrating".
"*sigh* yeah...I've been feeling pretty moody all day. I thought maybe a distraction would help" the purple guy sighed as he slumped in his seat looking all dejected.
"A distraction? Hmm...is there anything I could do to help?" Kaito asked genuinly, but he couldn't help but notice a slight blush form across Rui's cheeks at the question.
"Uhh...y'know what? It's fine. I'll be fine" Rui went to get up from his seat but Kaito gently held his hand before he could.
"Please, I insist" Kaito flashed him a genuine caring smile, how could Rui say no to that?!
"It's pretty silly..." the purple guy fiddled with his thumbs as his blush grew deeper.
"There's nothing to be embarrassed about" Kaito gave him a loving squeeze on his shoulder to reassure him.
"Uhh...could you maybe...t-tickle me?" That last part came out in such a soft whispery tone, the vocaloid almost didn't catch it. Rui quickly averted his gaze as the question left his mouth. He was sure this was something odd to ask the vocaloid to do-
"Of course! See? Nothing to be embarrassed about".
Rui couldn't help the soft smile that formed on his lips when hearing that response. Kaito truly was like a caring older brother. The vocaloid then proceeded to position him across his lap.
"Is there anywhere in particular you'd like me to tickle?" Kaito's genuine, caring side made Rui feel all giddy and a bit flustered. It was too much for him to handle! But in all seriousness, he was glad he could confide in someone like him.
"Uhm...a-anywhere is fine" Rui broke into a nervous smile as he saw Kaito's wiggling fingers approach his torso. Once he felt the vocaloid's fingers delicately dance across his tummy, Rui broke into the sweetest giggles imaginable.
"Eep! Hehehehehe!" Poor Rui couldn't help but wraps his arms around his ticklish tummy, but Kaito could tell he was enjoying himself so he kept going.
"There's that smile!" Kaito giggled when he heard a squeak come from the purple guy. He then proceeded to playfully tickle his sides up and down.
"Gah-! Hahahahahaha!" Rui squeezed his eyes shut and threw his head back as he got lost in his hysterical laughter. It was embarrassing to admit, but he was having a lot of fun, and so was Kaito!
"Looks like you're pretty ticklish here~" Kaito couldn't help but tease him a bit. It was fun seeing the cool stage director let loose and have a laugh.
"Dohohon't say thahahat! Ahahahahaha!".
"Don't say what? Ticklish?".
"St-stahaHAp! Hahahahaha!".
Kaito snickered at the flustered mess in his lap. He certainly didn't expect Rui of all people to get so easily flustered by a simple word. Rui then proceeded to cover his flushed face behind his hands. Kaito took the opportunity to softly dig two fingers in between his ribs.
"EEP! K-Kaito dohohon't! Ahahahaha!" His arms instantly came crashing down, revealing his big, bright smile and flushed cheeks. Kaito could only smile in adoration at the scene. He kept up with the rib tickles as Rui squirmed and cackled in his grasp. Suddenly, the purple guy could feel his arms being pulled up...that can't be good.
"W-wahait! I knohow what you're gonna doho!" Rui spoke through nervous giggles, knowing what was to come. Still, he only felt excitement and joy in the moment.
"Is that so? In that case, prepare yourself~" was Kaito's only warning before playfully scribbling all along his exposed armpit.
"GYAH-! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Only the most genuine laughter would pour out of Rui's mouth. He felt so happy and at peace, he even forgot what he was so upset about earlier.
"Hehe, tiiiickle tickle~" Kaito teased as he kept playfully assaulting the ticklish hollow.
"NOHOHO! D-DON'T SAY THAHAHAT!" poor Rui squealed and cackled at the tease.
Feeling like a lil shit, Kaito leaned his head down and whispered into Rui's ear 'tickle tickle~' once more, earning another flustered squeal from the ticklish male.
"Y-YOHOU BAHAHASTARD! AHAHAHAHAHA!" Rui quickly shook his head and tried scrunching up his shoulders. This for sure had to be considered bullying, right?? Then again, Rui couldn't really complain, he was having a lot of fun!
Kaito only laughed in amusement at the flustered mess he had created. As he saw Rui's face getting more red and his eyes starting to water, Kaito slowed his fingers to a stop. He gave the stage director room to breathe and to compose himself, but Rui seemed to still be too giggly for that.
"Ahahaha...t-that wahas mehehean!" Rui accused playfully. Kaito replied with a smile and playfully ruffled his hair.
"Did that make you feel better?".
"Y-yeah, I am feeling much better actually. T-thanks for that..." Rui got all shy again, averting his gaze.
"Anytime!" Kaito gave him one last poke to his tummy, eliciting a squeal from the purple guy. They both giggled at the fun and wholesome situation. If Rui ever needed someone to distract him again, he knew the right person for the job!
hi !! can i request jealousy headcanons for gnf x reader? or an imagine? whatever you prefer :)) thank you so much!
JEALOUSY HEADCANONS
cc’s: george, sapnap, dream, wilbur, karl, quackity, nihachu
pronouns: gender neutral
warnings: none :3
here’s my masterlist ^o^
hope ya like it !!
Tumblr media
george:
he doesn’t really get jealous more so insecure
would kinda just let whatever was going on with you and the other person play out and then maybe mention it later
this could go two ways:
either you don’t acknowledge him being upset and he starts acting super pouty to make it obvious-
or he literally just shows no emotion to the matter and decides to keep it to himself
he trusts you so much but he definitely thinks about how maybe you could be with someone better
PLEASE reassure him that you love him and he’s the greatest boyfriend ever :((
he isn’t one to care for much attention but when he doubts himself like that you better give it to him >:T
karl:
he gets sad :(
he immediately thinks the worst
which is that you see something special in this other person that you don’t see in him
his whole mood changes
such an over thinker when it comes to this stuff
he definitely wears his heart on his sleeve tho so you know when somethings up
after lots of reassurance he’s ok but he always kinda feels like you’ll find someone better
he thinks he’s a little hard to handle sometimes and since he’s always busy he’s afraid that you would maybe want someone who’s easier to spend time with
there are some VERY special instances where he’ll just walk up and announce that he’s your boyfriend
usually it’s done without thinking and the once he realizes the person was trying to flirt with you he’s like “oh- OH HAHA LOSER” lol
overall, he doesn’t want to intrude on any of your friendships and conversations but he can’t help but get a little scared of losing you
quackity:
he’s the type to get really awkward about someone else hitting on you
seeing someone else flirting with you would make him feel so uncomfortable and it would just be really weird for him
he wouldn’t want to intrude but he can’t help but overthink the whole situation
he would feel so powerless and like he’s just watching his partner get taken from him and there’s nothing he can do
if you did try to get him to join the convo it would just make him even more uncomfortable because he’d feel kinda left out
also definitely starts feeling maybe he’s being annoying or something
REASSURE HIM PLS
once you let him know you’d never leave him he’d pull a sapnap and start making jokes about the other person lol
sapnap:
listen... he trusts you. just you tho. everyone else is an enemy.
he knows you’d never do anything but the thought of another guy even thinking about you in some type of way makes him so agitated
super super possessive but I mean hey ur quite the prize that i’m sure he worked hard to get ;)
tries to keep you by his side/holding his hand most of the time
is not afraid to step in between a conversation. very confrontational.
puts on a whole tough guy act which you bully him for later lol
once you two are alone he starts talking so much shit about the other guy
“babe he is literally my friend-“
“ok? and your friends a little bitch that’s not my fault.”
kinda mean LMAO but he’s so good to you and would stop if you asked him
dream:
the most protective boy ever
is so focused on making sure no one is ever making you uncomfortable
literally on you like a guard dog
i would even go as far as to say his protective/possessiveness could become an issue in your relationship but he loves you and he has good intentions
if you don’t pick up on his change in behavior he gets very passive aggressive
he doesn’t just get jealous of people flirting with you it’s a lot of different things including his own friends
deep rooted insecurity OMG IM SORRY THIS IS SO DEEP
he’s just really afraid to lose you but doesn’t want to show it
wilbur:
you’d definitely expect him to be more mature about it
will glare at the object of his jealousy, even if they are looking lol
“y/n, that guy is looking at you weird— i don’t like it :( “
“Will please i’m not going anywhere. i promise you’re all mine.”
will litter your face with kisses after being jealous.
when someone is hitting on you, he just walks over and scares them off with his height
will instantly get over it if you give him affection
he might just want your attention sometimes, but other times there is some truth to it
^^^^ 🥪 ANON WROTE THESE aka my little wilbur soot enthusiast thank you very much
niki:
the most mature out of all of them lol
she trust you so much to the point where if she sees you talking to someone else she just brushes it off
he only concerns are the person being creepy or weird so she will make sure to keep on eye on what’s going on
also just wants to me sure you aren’t uncomfortable without stepping in too much
might gesture you over to her for a second or send you a questioning glance to make sure everything is good
if you happen to ask her to join the conversation she would be so happy it would really calm any nerves she had
if the person does end up being weird you guys def laugh about it and tell the story on stream lol
niki has very little fears with you, you’re her person and that’s that :3
Tumblr media
hello hello thank you for reading hope you enjoyed!!! ALSO i’m gonna be doing like a little prompt thing for when i hit 100 followers so that will be posted soon and i’ll explain how it works and everything on the post!! (tiny milestone but thank you all so much :3)
@crackityy @themanifoldenjoyer ayo shoutout my only two tag listers so far LOL
Dirty Little Secret - Toji Fushiguro
I love a good meanie :) this was inspired by a thrilling convo i had femme reader lads, everyone 18+ 12.3K words
It all started with the messy, bitter divorce your parents went through, leaving your mother a struggling woman all on her own. You tried to help with bills, tried to tack on a few side gigs here and there and get a couple part time jobs but it just wasn’t enough.
Until she met Toji and all the worries you two had about money just suddenly melted away. He wasn’t outlandishly rich but somehow he made enough money that both you and your mother could quit all the jobs you’d had to take on.
Your mother was ecstatic, positively thrilled about the newfound freedom she has. She’s able to afford luxuries she’d never been able to before and there was no need to worry about pinching pennies and scrounging for every last meal. You could live comfortably, but there was something about Toji that rubbed you the wrong way.
There wasn’t one singular thing that drove you to disliking him, it was all just a culmination of things. His cocky attitude, the way he acted like he owned the whole house the first time he visited, how he seemed to be eyeing you up in a way far less acceptable for a man that was meeting his new step-daughter. As soon as his eyes landed on you, it was like your mother no longer existed.
They got married faster than you could blink, a rushed ceremony done at city hall with a few random witnesses watching her take the surname Fushiguro. Your mother was beyond happy, and while you were happy to see an easy smile on her face again, the knowledge that Toji would be living with you now hung like a dark cloud in the back of your head.
“Careful there doll, wouldn’t want you to break a nail.” Toji teased as he saw you pick up a moving box that was left in the living room. He was moving his and his sons belongings into the house and you’d been tasked with helping.
“Shut up.” Glaring at him, you grabbed the box in a huff and stormed up the stairs, stomping your way into the room that was your step-brothers, Megumis. You’d only met him once at a formal dinner and he seemed nice enough. Far different than his father but strikingly similar in appearance. He was away at university in another city, only visiting every other weekend if he felt like it.
Lingering in the empty room longer than you should, you tried to steer clear of Toji. The physical labour of moving boxes had made him sweaty, a nice sheen building up on his forehead and arms that highlighted the taut muscles underneath the skin and underneath the tight black t-shirt he was always wearing.
“Why don’t you go sit pretty on the couch, hm? A little girl like you shouldn’t be trying to lift such heavy things.” Catching you coming down the stairs, Toji was sporting his usual signature smirk whenever he saw you.
“There’s still a lot of stuff to bring in and I don’t want this to take all day.” Standing at the top of the stairs, you wavered. He wasn’t making any move to get out of your way or to come up the stairs and the two of you were stuck in a staring match.
“But you’re just so delicate, are you sure you can keep up?” Toji finally started moving up the stairs, a large box in his hand that looked to be no trouble for him.
“I’ll be fine!” You snapped at him, backing up and out of the way to let him pass you.
“You sure about that?” Stopping right in front of you, Toji held the box out of the way so he could lean close to your face, almost brushing his hair against your forehead.
“I’m sure!” Face erupting in a hot flush, you scramble away from him and down the stairs. You can hear the dark chuckle leaving his throat and the incident has your hands shaking as you go to the moving van.
Starkly avoiding eye contact with him for the rest of the day, you take the pizza your mother ordered for the family straight to your room and don’t come out for a good while. She knocks on your door not once throughout the night, too busy giggling stupidly in the living room with Toji.
“Good morning baby girl.” Toji croons when he sees you appear in the kitchen in the morning, a hot cup of coffee in his hands as he leans against the kitchen counter. Your ears burn at the nickname, but you ignore him and go straight to the refrigerator.
“Hey!” Shuffling back when he slams the fridge closed in your face, another shout is caught in your throat as he looms over you, large calloused hand keeping the door closed.
“You just gonna be rude and not say good morning to your new daddy?” The smell of coffee and cigarettes hangs on his breath, fanning over your face. He’s cornering you against the refrigerator, using his looming stature to force you against the door entirely.
“Go away.” You whisper, but you want to shout, push him away and stand up for yourself. But something in Toji’s stare and the way he carries himself has you withering.
“I don’t even get a good morning kiss?”
“Huh?” Your eyes go wide when he grabs your jaw, tilting your face up and holding it there so he can lean in and graze his lips against yours. Slapping your hands on his chest, you struggle to keep him at bay.
“Toji, have you seen my car keys?” Your mothers shout from the other room rips away the quiet, tense moment between you two. Toji takes a few smooth steps back, shuffling back into his place against the countertop right as she comes into the room.
“Yeah, right there.” Flicking his chin to the kitchen table, there lies her keys.
“Thanks.” Grabbing them, she takes a glance at you and then a double take, furrowing her brows and pointing vaguely at you. “Sweetie, what’s wrong? Why are you making that face?”
“I-” A tiny flicker of your eyes to Toji has your face burning all over again and any words are lost on you. “I feel a bit sick.” Ducking your head down, you rush out of the kitchen, the passing cry of ‘go lay back down then’ from your mother going ignored as you slam the door to your room and lock it.
Toji leaves sometime after your mother does and for a while you’re home alone. Finally able to eat in peace, there’s a few things you’ve been wanting to do ever since you met Toji, one of them being snooping through his things.
He was secretive with so many things, it was only right that you get a little intel on him. You barely knew what he did for work, the only thing he said he did was ‘freelancing’ and that was it.
Walking through the open bedroom door, you steered clear of the things you knew were your mothers. The old dresser she had and her section of the closet was still exactly the same as before Toji came into her life.
But now there was a new chest of drawers tucked away in the corner of the room, rich dark wood that contrasted with the light color palette of the rest of the room. There was also a safe tucked under the bed and one in the closet as well, you’d seen Toji bring those in himself.
Opening the top drawer, it was no shock to find folded piles of socks and underwear, a few black tank tops. The second had more shirts, the third was the baggy pants Toji mainly lived in and the fourth had more fitted bottoms.
But sticking out from between a few folded pairs of slacks was a thick file folder with your families last name on it. It was in pristine condition and once you opened it, you saw that so were the things inside it.
Detailed records of your bank history, notes that had everything about you on them; your favorite food, color, your typical daily schedule, who you hung out with and all their personal information, the places you frequented and all the jobs you’d held in your life.
“This fucking stalker.” Reading over notes clearly written in Toji’s handwriting, the contents of the folder made your stomach churn. Shoving it back between the pants, you stood up properly and turned to the closet.
The safe in here was buried under a stack of folded clothes waiting to be hung up. Toji’s side of the closet was relatively bare, with the only thing hanging up being the lonely suit he owned that he wore to get married in.
Punching in all the possible number combinations you could think of - all the phone numbers you knew by heart, your home address and every birthday - you came up empty. There was no way to open the safe in the closet, and you had to abandon it.
The safe beneath the bed was heavy, nearly breaking your back as you tried to drag it out into the open. It was a thin black metal box with a long rectangular shape and the same number pad as in the closet. Only this time, when you punched in the last four digits of your phone number, it opened with a click.
What you saw inside wasn’t what you were expecting. Sure, Toji was a mysterious guy with secretive habits and a job you knew nothing about. You had barely information on him, yet you still weren’t prepared to see all the guns he had stored inside the safe.
There were long shotguns, handguns, revolvers and plenty of ammo and holsters. Even with the slight wear and tear on some of the barrels, you could tell Toji took good care of them as nearly all of them were freshly polished.
“Just couldn’t help yourself, could you?” Just as you reached out and skimmed a finger across one of the handguns laying innocently in the pile, Toji’s flat monotone voice sounded behind you.
Ripping your hand away, your head whipped over your shoulder to stare at him in terrified shock. He shouldn’t be home, you hadn’t heard him come in or the front door open and close. Frozen on the ground, you struggled to find the air to breathe.
“Such a nosy little thing.” Toji commented, his eyes drifting to the open closet door and the dresser drawer that you’d left ajar. “If you were curious about daddy, you could have just asked.”
“Why do you have these things?” What were you referring to? The guns? Records of your every move, down to how long your phone conversations were late at night?
“They’re for work.” Pushing away from the doorframe, Toji sauntered into the room, dragging his feet lazily.
“But-”
“That’s all you need to know.” He cut you off with a stern look, kicking closed the safe.
“Why...why do you have all those papers about me?” Came your next question. Looking up at Toji, you were suddenly aware of how you were presented to him. Sitting on your knees, hands balled up into fists in your lap, looking up at him with wide scared eyes - and he noticed it too.
“You’re my little girl, why shouldn’t I know everything?” Biting his lip as he looked down at you, Toji had to stop himself from grabbing your hair and shoving your face into his clothed cock. Instead he flexed his fingers, rolled his shoulders and used his foot to push the safe under the bed. Scrambling to your feet, you watched as the safe disappeared.
“What’s in the safe in the closet?” You were standing far too close to Toji for your liking, he was within less than an arm's reach of you and you could smell the dark woody aroma he liked to put on.
“Important shit. ‘Gumi’s birth certificate, passports, the usual.” Shrugging casually, Toji walked over to the dresser and kicked it closed as well. “Got some stuff for your mom and you in there too.”
Letting a lull fall into the conversation, you scurried from the bedroom when Toji went to close the closet door. You could hear him chuckle and mutter something under his breath upon discovering your absence, but he closed the bedroom door shortly after and you could hear him go down the stairs.
Hours later and your mother informed you she wouldn’t be home for dinner. Something about meeting up with friends for an unexpected late night outing and staying out past dark.
Left to your own devices, you tried to avoid being detected by Toji as you milled around in the kitchen and fed yourself.
“Sweetheart, that you?”
Keyword being tried.
Biting back a harsh sigh, you emerged from the relative darkness of the kitchen and into the living room where Toji was lounging on the couch with no shirt on, all his muscles and scars on full display.
“There’s my baby girl.” Toji broke into a smile.
“Yup, I’m here.” Rolling your eyes so you could force yourself to stop ogling his body, you turned halfway back to the kitchen.
“Woah woah come back!”
“What do you want?” Not keeping this sigh at bay, you quirked a brow at him.
“Ya know your mothers not here and I’m getting awfully lonely sitting in this house by myself. Why don’t you sit with me?”
“No thanks.”
“That’s too bad, sweetheart, ‘cause I wasn’t asking.” You can feel his hand wrapping around your upper arm before you even hear him getting up from the couch.
“L-let go!” Thrashing in his hold does no good, you’re thrown onto the couch like a doll in no time and Toji sinks in next to you, spreading his legs wide and throwing an arm over the back of the couch.
“Your mother wants us to spend more time together, get better acquainted and whatnot.” Grabbing the beer he had on the coffee table, Toji drinks until it’s empty and he crushes it in his hand. “And what better time than now?”
Huffing and puffing, you adjust yourself on the couch and try to focus on whatever Toji has playing on the TV screen. It’s some cheesy action movie made way before you were born, and while it makes you groan at the cliche plot points, Toji is having a grand old time.
“You want a beer?” Toji asks, picking up a can and cracking it open.
“No.” Shaking your head, the last thing you’d want is to possibly get drunk and lose your senses around him.
“Oh, oops.” Upon hearing your no, Toji not so subtly tipped the can over and let it fall into your lap, the beer inside spilling out onto your clothes.
“Toji! What the-” Leaping up and tossing the can onto the coffee table, you could feel the cold liquid seep into the fabric of your pants and underwear, even stretching to the back of your pants.
“That’s too bad, my mistake! Better go get changed.” Toji laughed, completely unashamed of what he’d done. Flipping him off, you stormed away. “Put your pajamas on, it’s getting late!”
“Fuck you!” Angrily walking to your room, you ripped off the wet clothes clinging to you. You were tempted to stay in your room the rest of the night, but there was no doubt that Toji would come up and drag you back down to the living room.
“Aw, don’t you look cute.” He teased when you came back down in an oversized shirt and sleeping shorts. He had procured a blanket from behind the couch and it lay on the arm.
“Ugh, it’s still wet.” Even though he’d grabbed a blanket, he hadn’t grabbed a towel to sop up the beer in the couch cushions.
“It’s okay, you can sit right here.” Grabbing your wrist, Toji yanked you onto his lap, wrapping an arm around your waist as you fell into him. Throwing the blanket over you, Toji forced you to lay against his bare chest.
“Let me go sit in the other chair.” There was a perfectly good arm chair a few feet from the couch you could sit on.
“Now how could we bond if you’re so far away?” He chuckled, hiking you back up as you tried to slide off him. Biting your tongue against any further useless arguments, you tried to get comfortable in Tojis lap.
“Be careful now, baby, all that squirming might get me excited.” Toji whispered in your ear, gripping the flesh of your waist tightly underneath his fingers. Chuckling again at how your body went completely stiff, he settled back into the couch and watched the movie.
Begrudgingly focusing on it as well, it was almost inevitable that you relaxed into laying on Toji, the smooth up and down of his chest expanding with every breath lulling you into a sense of comfort.
“This movie’s stupid.” You grumbled as a commercial hit. Your arms were crossed tightly, having gotten riled up at one particular scene for how predictable it was.
“S’not stupid, it’s a classic.” Toji replied.
“Still stupid.” Shaking your head slightly, you let out a soft yawn.
“Aw, is it getting close to your bedtime?”
“Shut up.” It wasn’t that it was particularly late, but sitting in the low light of the living room, under a cozy blanket with a warm body underneath you holding you tightly, it was more relaxing than you thought. Coupled with the quietness of the TV and the slow even breaths Toji took right by your ear, who wouldn’t get a little sleepy?
“Poor baby’s tired.” You could just feel the mocking pout on Toji’s lips. Shifting his hands and grabbing onto your thigh, he turned you to sit sideways in his lap, legs across him and your head securely tucked under his chin.
“Not tired.” Trying to reason with him was impossible, and you gave up once the movie came back on. With a secure arm wrapped around your back and his other hand resting snugly on your outer thigh, Toji had you right where he wanted you.
“Still awake?” Toji asked ten minutes later and he already knew the answer. Your breathing had gotten quiet and you’d fallen slack in his arms, and when he rubbed your back you let out a soft, sleepy hum and snuggled deeper into him.
Careful not to wake you, Toji dipped his hands to the hem of your shirt and tugged it up so he could get under it. Trailing his calloused fingertips up your back, he felt the bumps and ridges of your spinal cord as he went. Pushing under your arm, he got to where he wanted: the soft flesh of your breast.
Cupping it in his palm, Toji bit his lip to hold back a soft groan. He’d wanted to do this since the day he started dating your mother and learned about you. From the very first picture of you she’d shown him he was hooked and every subsequent move he made after was calculated to get right to this very moment.
A soft uptick in your breathing let him know that you could feel what he was doing, but you did nothing else as he pinched your nipple and rolled it between his fingers.
Pushing you to lay back a little, Toji crept his other hand up your thigh. Your legs were simple dead weight to him and with a few nudges he was able to get his hand down your shorts and cup your sex.
“Be a good girl and get nice and wet.” Mumbling to himself he pushed his middle finger through your folds, coming to your clit and grinning wildly. Rubbing it with practiced precision, Toji kept his ears trained on the sound of your breathing and he was prepared to keep going even if you woke up.
Pressing a few kisses to the top of your head, he cooed at the delicate sigh you let out. You were getting aroused, Tojis finger was starting to get slicked up and glide easier against you.
Pushing his index finger against your clit, he worked you up even further. The movie was forgotten on the television, all of Tojis focus going to you and the way your brows scrunched up at the feeling of someone else’s fingers against your cunt.
You weren’t wet enough for Toji to push a finger inside, but he was fine with waiting for another time. Just playing with your clit and pinching your nipple was enough for him for now.
Pressing his nose against the top of your head, Toji let out a shuddering breath when you came in your sleep. A few desperate whimpers fell from your lips, and your face screwed up a little, your body clenching as pleasure rolled through your sleeping form.
Taking his hand slowly out of your shirt, Toji laid it back on your thigh and tried to collect his own breathing. Getting you to cum in your sleep on his lap had riled him up more than he expected, the thrill of making you come undone without your knowledge going straight to his head.
It wasn’t long after that your mother came home, gasping at the sight of your sleeping body in Toji’s lap and delighted that you were finally getting more comfortable with him. Not wanting to wake you, she snapped a few pictures for posterity and had Toji carry you to your room.
“You want me to what?” Staring at your mother like she’d grown another head, you couldn’t hide the disdain at what she had just proposed of you in the late morning.
“I want you to spend the day with Toji! He’s going into town to do some shopping and I think it’d be a great way for you two to get closer.”
“I don’t want to get closer to him.” The memory of last night made your cheeks burn. You were far more embarrassed about falling asleep in his lap than you’d ever be willing to admit.
“C’mon (Y/N), I saw you two together on the couch last night! It was so cute, I want you to have more moments like that with him.” Your mother gave you a pout, one just begging to humor her request. The desire to say no was right on the tip of your tongue.
“Fine, I’ll go with him.”
“Yay!” Clapping her hands together lightly, your mother turned away and started to gather a few things to start her own day.
“Let’s be quick, okay?” Ten minutes later and you were sitting in the front seat of Toji’s vintage camaro.
“I think we should take it nice and slow today.” Toji replied, firing up the engine and drowning out your thoughts with the loud roar. It was hard to look at him, so you kept your gaze trained to the passing scenery outside.
“Did you sleep well last night, baby?” He asked as the car came to a stop at a light. Toji was staring right at you, a wide smirk on his face. Pressing your lips together, you refused to look back at him. You might have slept well, but waking up with slick coating your inner thighs ruined the entire experience, whether good or bad at all.
“Why do you care?”
“Ha! Why do I care?” His sharp laugh made you jolt, turning to glare at him as the car started moving again. “You must have slept well, you were knocked out on my lap.”
“Won’t happen again.” You grumbled, watching his hand fiddle with the radio and turn it to a random station.
“That’s what you think.” Giving your thigh a quick pat, Toji settled into his seat. Driving to the shopping district he had in mind, as soon as you stepped out of the car Toji was by your side with a hand on your back. “I’ve got some business to take care of first, let’s go.”
“Don’t touch me.” Shoving his hand away, it was right back where it was in seconds. A low wave of annoyance washed over you, but you started walking in the direction Toji was taking you. The annoyed feeling only grew as you passed people by on the street and women openly stared at him, not giving a care in the world about the gold band on his finger or the fact that you were next to him.
And he didn’t seem to care either. You could see the way he would look back at some of the women, sending them easy smiles or holding eye contact longer than normal. Walking into a jewelry shop, you were finally away from their prying eyes, but the hand Toji had on your back only got firmer.
“Want me to buy you a little something?” Toji whispered, leaning close to your ear.
“Like what?” You challenged, looking across the shop floor. There were countless expensive jewels just lying in wait behind thick glass cases.
“Whatever you want, baby girl. Just point and I’ll get it once I’m done.”
“Done with what?” Looking at him incredulously, you saw him nod to someone waiting against a back wall.
“Business.” Patting your back, Toji went to talk to them, slipping into a back room and leaving you alone on the shop floor. Trying not to stand out, you found an open chair and pulled out your phone, already bored.
“Finally.” You said upon seeing Toji appear in front of you after nearly thirty minutes.
“Sorry to keep you waiting, I was doing some negotiations.” Inspecting him further, you could see he was breathing a little heavier and there was just the slightest sheen of sweat above his brow.
“What, did you kill someone back there or something?”
“Almost.” He replied with a shrug. You’d meant it as a joke, but with the way Toji wasn’t smiling you couldn’t tell if he did too. Letting his eyes roam over the shop, he flicked his chin out. “Find something you like?”
“No.” Taking a step toward the door, you were tugged back by your sleeve.
“I bet you didn’t even look.” Toji chuckled, dragging you over to a case. “How about a little tennis bracelet, hm? We could add a little charm, how about a T?”
“I don’t want it, I won’t wear it.”
“Ah, sure you will.” Brushing you off, he waved over a sales associate. “Now, tell the nice worker what color you want, gold or silver.”
Walking out of the store with a pretty little bag in hand, you followed Toji to the next few stores he had to go into for ‘business’. Sometimes he was quick and you didn’t have to wait even a few minutes for someone to hand him a thick envelope that he tucked into the inner pocket of his jacket. Others, he’d slip into the backroom and you’d have to awkwardly wait around.
“Are we actually going to do some proper shopping today, or is this it?” You snapped after being dragged around for a good while. You hadn’t even wanted to come, but now you just felt like a kid being dragged around against their will.
“Relax baby, daddy’s done, he’ll pay attention to you now.” Toji teased, pinching your cheek and cooing at you.
“Whatever, lets go.” Swatting him away, you stormed off in a random direction, Toji’s laughter burning in your ears. It was your turn now to drag him from store to store, some you weren’t even interested in. Following you dutifully, Toji bought whatever you wanted regardless of price tag.
“Let’s go in here.” Toji stopped you right in front of a popular lingerie store. There were large adverts in the windows of scantily clad women dripping in lace and frilly garments, and there were a large number of people inside as well.
“You can’t be serious.” You blanched, watching in slight horror as he toed his way over to the front door.
“Cmon baby, you deserve something nice.” He said loud enough to have a few passersby giggle. Seeing your face turn from one of shock to embarrassment, Toji knew he had won. Following him into the store with your head down, you tried not to look at all the bras and panties displayed so prominently.
Taking a seat at one of the chairs near the front of the store, Toji kept his eye on you as you walked around. Seeing your fingers glide across silk and lace, pass mannequins in intricate pieces of lingerie, he couldn’t help but imagine you in some of them. He’d only gotten a taste of what you had to offer last night, and he already hungered for more.
“I think you’d look great in that.” He came up behind you as you looked at a bra and panty set, little red and white love hearts adorning lacy pink.
“Pervert.” Glaring over your shoulder, you tried to conceal that you’d grabbed a pair for yourself. “Go sit back down.”
“I get it, you wanna keep it a secret and surprise me.” Fishing out his wallet, Toji handed you the credit card he’d been using the whole day. “Take your time baby, I’m going to have a smoke.”
Making sure he left the store, you let out a sigh of relief at finally being alone in a place like this. It was bad enough he suggested it, but to have him watch you pick out underwear was downright mortifying.
Grabbing whatever you liked, you walked out with a sizable bag in your hand and a pretty long receipt. Toji was nowhere to be found outside the store, and as you scanned past the people milling about, he wasn’t on the street either.
You had his number, feasibly you could call or text him to find out where he was. But with a limitless credit card in your hand and newfound freedom, that was the last thing on your mind. He would find you eventually, say something snarky and tease you and then you’d be on your way to grab lunch.
“Excuse me, miss!” For a moment, you thought the gentle voice calling out to you as you walked down the street was Toji. But as you turn around and are confronted with a stranger, you’re reminded that Toji would never be so polite.
“Yes?” He was an average looking man, around Toji’s age.
“I couldn’t help but notice you walking around, you look so beautiful.” The man had a hopeful smile on his face, taking in your reaction to the sudden compliment.
“Oh, thank you.” Giving him a once over, you quickly spotted the silver wedding band on his finger.
“What’s your name? I’d love to take you out sometime.” Shuffling a tiny bit closer, the man was already pulling out his phone before he even finished the sentence.
“I’m s-”
“She’s not interested.” A heavy hand landed on your shoulder, yanking you back into a firm chest. There wasn’t a need to look up and see who it was, the distinct cologne wafting into your nose and the rough treatment was enough.
“Huh?” Bunching his brows together, the man looked confused between you and Toji.
“Huh?” Toji mocked, leaning towards him with a raised brow.
“I think she can speak for herself.”
“My baby doesn’t talk to insignificant flies like you.” Staring him down for a moment, Toji got him to turn tail and leave in a huff.
“I could have handled that myself.”
“Yeah, well I handled it better.” Turning you around, Toji smirks down his nose at you for a moment.
“What?” His look is unnerving, it makes your heart flutter a bit and that’s the last feeling you want to have for him.
“I deserve a reward, don’t you think?”
“A reward for what?” Scrunching up your nose, you recoil a little as Toji bends at the waist and presents his cheek to you.
“For coming to the rescue of a damsel in distress.” Tapping his cheek with one finger, he looks at you from the corner of his eye. “Don’t leave your daddy hanging, now.”
Looking him over, you weighed your options. It was only a kiss, an innocent little peck on the cheek. Where was the harm in that?
The harm came when, as you were leaning forward with your lips slightly pursed, Toji turned his head and kissed you square on the lips.
Jerking back in shock, you didn’t get far as Toji grabbed your chin to keep you in place. His lips were rough, dry and cracked and the scar on the edge of his mouth wasn’t helping in that regard.
Brushing his nose against yours, Toji didn’t keep the kiss going for long; even he had boundaries for being in public. Pulling away, he swiped your bottom lip with his thumb, grinning at your flushed face and slightly labored breathing.
“Daddy got you flustered?” He teased, taking the shopping bags out of your hand and holding them himself.
“No.” You reply a few seconds too late, your lip’s in a pout and your voice has a slight whine. Biting his lip, Toji scanned your face.
“God, the things you do to me.” Roughly grabbing your hand, he tugged you along down the street. “Let’s get some lunch, I’m fucking starved.”
“You’re back!” Your mother exclaimed upon your arrival, leaping up from the couch to hug both of you. She quickly hurried out of the way upon seeing all the bags Toji insisted on carrying in by himself, her jaw dropping in shock.
“Don’t gimme that look, babe, you know I had to spoil the little princess.” Toji laughed at her expression, dropping some of the bags into your hands and kissing your mother on the cheek.
“I-I’m just shocked...we never come back with that many bags when we go shopping.” Her voice was quiet as she looked between the two of you.
“You gettin’ jealous on me now?” Toji teased, poking her in the side and making her jump. “I was just following your orders, forming a closer bond with my new step-daughter.” Pointedly shielding the lingerie bag from her view, Toji passed it into your hands. “Maybe she’ll show you some of the outfits she bought, we even picked some out together.”
If by ‘together’ he meant he shoved a slew of tiny skirts and low cut tops into your hands in the dressing room and then bought them when you rejected all of them anyway, then yes, you could say you two picked some out together.
“Uh- yeah mom, I’ll show you some of the stuff later.” You nodded along, eager to escape the situation and hide in your room. Not waiting another moment after the words left your lips, you ran up the stairs and to your room.
Pouring out all the things Toji bought you, you couldn’t say you didn’t enjoy going out shopping with him. There was no limit to what you wanted, anything your eyes touched was yours in an instant.
“Knock knock.” Pushing open your door and swiftly closing it behind him, Toji held up the remaining bags. “You forgot some.”
“Thanks.” Reaching out to grab them, you didn’t get the chance as Toji set them down and stepped around you, grabbing the little bag from the first store you went to. Fishing out the velvet box, Toji opened it and dangled the dainty tennis bracelet from his finger.
“Put this on for me, will you? Wanna make sure it’s a good fit.” Dropping the bracelet into your hands, Toji chuckled when you struggled to get it on. “Need my help?”
“No I’m fine.” You said, pinching the clasp between your fingers desperately.
“Let daddy help you.” Grabbing your wrist and pulling you closer, Toji swatted your fingers away.
“Your fingers are too thick, how’re you ever-”
“Got it.” Releasing the bracelet, Toji watched triumphantly as it hung from your wrist. You barely mumbled a thanks before he was grabbing your wrist again, nearly pulling you chest to chest with him. “Now, what was that about my fingers?”
“N-nothing!” Slapping your free hand on his chest, your face burned terribly and only got worse as he laughed.
“No, no, go ahead and say it. My fingers are too thick, huh?” Grabbing your jaw, Toji slid his index and middle finger across your face until they came to rest on your lips. “Say ‘ah’.” Pressing your lips together firmly, you shook your head as best you could.
But Toji wasn’t one to take no for an answer and shoved past your lips, forcing your mouth open with his other hand and flattening your tongue. Clutching onto his wrist tightly, you looked up at him with watering eyes as his fingers slid too far back and choked you.
Growling at the sight of his fingers stuffed into your mouth, Toji dropped his other hand, grabbing your ass tightly in his hand and rocking your hips against him. Looming over you, Toji ripped his fingers from your mouth and slammed his lips onto you.
The kisses you shared before were nothing compared to this one. With a hand gripping the back of your head, Toji made sure not even a centimeter of space passed between you two. His lips molded to yours perfectly, mouths slotting together as he pushed his tongue in and claimed your mouth for himself.
Drool began to drip down the corners of your lips, sliding down your neck and chest and creating a glossy mess. It was getting harder to breathe the longer you went, your body quickly growing weak from lack of oxygen.
Gasping for air when Toji finally broke the kiss, your mind was spinning, barely able to focus on the fact that you were kissing your mothers husband and certainly not paying attention to the way Toji pushed you back onto your bed, body bouncing roughly on the mattress.
“God, I’ve been waiting for this moment.” Toji says with a sigh, climbing over your body and pressing his lips against the curve of your jaw. His hands pawed at your clothes, bunching up your shirt as he tried to get to your breasts.
“T-toji! Stop!” Letting out a scandalized gasp, your eyes flew to your bedroom door. Surely your mother would hear and come to save you.
“No need to be nervous, baby-” yanking down your bra, Toji palmed your breasts roughly, “daddy’ll make you feel good.” Sitting up just enough to yank your shirt and bra off, Toji held your arms down and stared lovingly at your chest, his cock twitching to life the longer he looked.
An argument had bubbled up from your chest, ready to spew out and knock some sense into Toji, but as he descended onto you, taking one of your nipples into his mouth and rolling it between his teeth, the words died just as quickly as they formed.
What was the use of telling Toji to stop when you knew he wouldn’t? There wasn’t a shred of doubt in your mind that if you yelled at him, told him it was wrong to cheat on your mother and fuck his step-daughter, he wouldn’t laugh straight in your face.
Fire back and ask why you think he cares about that? You’ve already seen the file he has on you and the lack of information he had on your mother. He’d already proven himself to be more than enamored with you and what kind of man would he be if he let something like ‘morality’ get in the way of what he wanted?
Moaning under your breath as Toji kissed and licked your chest, you had an argument with yourself brewing inside your head. You couldn’t deny that you enjoyed the attention he was currently giving you. He was confident in what he was doing, so sure of himself unlike some of the people you’d been with. The knowledge that came with being older was surely showing itself now.
Especially in the way he rolled his hips against yours, getting you to moan out a little louder this time, the sound coming from deep within your chest.
“Sound so pretty, baby.” Toji groaned, peeling himself away from you to shed himself of his clothes and to take the rest of yours with it. Letting out a low whistle at seeing you completely bare in front of him, Toji slapped his hands onto your thighs, peeling your legs apart to stare right at your cunt.
“Don’t look at me like that.” The pure animalistic look in his eyes had you throbbing, both with need and embarrassment. No one had looked at you like that before, unadulterated and hungry. Shyness crept in and you flung your hands down to cover yourself.
“No hiding, little one.” Smacking your hands away, Toji laughed at the pitiful, embarrassed whine you let out. “Aw, is someone getting shy? Can’t handle daddy looking at your messy cunt?”
“S’not messy.” You pouted, but it was true. A steady buildup of slick dripped out of you, coating everything between your legs and even dripping down between your asscheeks.
“You’re my messy little girl, aren’t you?” Ignoring your light protests, Toji laid himself down between your legs, making a show of putting your thighs on his shoulders and squishing his head with them. “I bet you taste as good as you look.”
With one last wink, Toji dove between your thighs, his tongue already out and ready to lap at your folds. The first touch of the tip of his tongue to your clit made you jump, hands flying down to grip his hair as your eyes went wide.
Flicking it a few times, Toji wrapped his lips around the bud, sucking hard as his fingers dug into your thighs firmly. You moaned just as loud as Toji did, the vibrations from his mouth travelling up to the ones leaving your chest.
Toji’s dream of being here with you, having you laid out on your back with his face buried in your cunt, had only gotten stronger as time went by. He nearly lost it in the lingerie store, seeing you walk so innocently around all the thongs and delicate lingerie. He had to leave to smoke a cigarette and cool down or else he would have dragged you into the dressing room in front of everyone.
Lapping at your entrance, Toji shoved his tongue in, his nose bumping your clit as he did. Massaging your walls, he drank in your essence, easily getting drunk off the taste and feeling of your thighs crushing his head. Painstakingly letting go of one of your thighs, he brought his thumb to your clit.
“Toji!” You gasped and your thighs got even tighter around him. Toji could barely breathe let alone think about anything but making you cum on his tongue and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Shoving his fingers between your legs, he slid them down to the hilt and felt your walls clamp down onto both them and his tongue. Your essence was everywhere now and he was sure the scent of your arousal would linger on his skin for days.
Putting his tongue on your clit again, Toji fucked his fingers into you. The obscene wet sound was music to his ears, a song he hoped to play over and over. Your moans had turned into babbles, your fingers carding through his hair as the pleasure washed over you.
“F-fuck-” Barely able to get the word out, you came on Toji’s fingers, whimpering loudly as he sucked your clit harder. You were sure you had crushed him for good now with how hard your thighs tensed up around him, but Toji seemed more than okay when they finally relaxed and fell to the wayside.
“What a good fucking girl.” Toji was breathless and lightheaded himself but he wouldn’t miss the opportunity to tease you, slap your quivering thighs with both hands and drink up your release. Your feeble hands were too weak to push him away, just a slight nudge on his forehead that he easily ignored.
Forcing air into your lungs, you got a moment's reprieve when Toji finally pulled himself away from your cunt. Your arms wound around his broad shoulders, pulling him into a half hug as your legs were hoisted up around his waist.
“You gonna let daddy take what’s his?” Toji whispered in your ear, blindly grabbing his cock and tapping tip against your clit.
“Yes!” You sobbed, nodding your head desperately. Glancing down between your bodies, you could see just how thick Toji’s cock was; his fingers surely did not compare.
Pushing the tip of his cock in, you could immediately feel the difference from his fingers. The stretch that his cock gave was unimaginable and you nearly broke into tears as he bottomed out.
“Hurts- s’too big-” Unwinding one arm, you pushed on Toji’s chest.
“Sshh, sshh, you’re fine.” He cooed, intertwining your fingers and pushing your hand onto the mattress.
“Toji…” Whining under your breath, you blinked away the mist of tears at your lashes and looked at him. “Daddy, please.”
The soft ghost of a smile on Toji’s face fell after hearing you call him daddy. His whole face fell, in fact, eyes going wide and pupils blowing out. The hand that was holding yours tightened, smashing yours into the mattress as his other flew to your thigh.
“Oh, you’ve done it now.” Toji could hardly get the words out before he was pistoning his hips, thrusting his cock into you at an alarming rate. He had intended on taking it a bit slow, savoring the moment more as he finally got to fuck you.
But that plan was gone and in its place was the plan to fuck you into the mattress, turn your brain and body into mush as he made you cum over and over again.
“Daddy! Slow down!” You wailed and in the back of your head you wondered if your mother could hear you, if she was outside the door just waiting to burst in on the two of you.
“Not a fucking chance.” Toji responded, voice muffled against the side of your neck. His tongue lashed out, hot and heavy against your pulse. Leaving bite marks along your skin, Toji growled into you, grinding his hips and getting a shiver down his back.
Already sensitive from your first orgasm, the second one came with no warning. Scratching your nails down Toji’s back, your feet dug into his back as your cunt clamped down on him. Any remaining sense you had, any thoughts about your mother or being caught were gone now, the only thing filling your head now was the drag of Toji’s thick cock against your walls and the way his balls slapped against your ass.
The sound of Toji fucking into you seemed to echo off the walls, mixing with the choked moans you let out and creating music to Toji’s ears. Every drag of his cock along your oversensitive walls, every thrust forward bringing another gush of your sticky release to coat his skin - all of it was heaven for him.
“Honey, have you seen Toji?” Your mother’s sudden call wafted down the hall as she came up the stairs, the familiar thud of her footsteps getting closer.
“Uh-” Your voice caught in your throat, fighting through the jumbled mess that was your mind to come up with a good answer.
“Better say something quick, I didn’t lock the door.” Toji smirked against your skin, forcing his hips to all but stop and grind painfully slowly against you, his skin just lightly catching your clit.
“I-I don’t know where he is.” Your tongue felt like lead, sitting stupidly in your mouth and barely forming the right words.
“Okay…” There was a pause as she trailed off and you could hear her right outside your door, feet shuffling a little as she thought of what to do next.
The sound of her footsteps trailed off and both you and Toji let out a gruff exhale.
“Finally.” He mumbled, pulling his hips back.
“Honey one more question, what do you want for dinner?”
“Pizza!” You screeched right as Toji snapped his hips forward. Burrowing your face into Tojis hair, you tried to stifle the squeals leaving your lips.
“Alright, I’ll see what I can do.” Waiting until her footsteps completely rescinded, Toji sat up on his elbow and smirked at you.
“Guess we’re having pizza for dinner.”
“Shut up.” Pushing his face back into your neck you avoided his teasing gaze. Chuckling to himself, Toji nipped at your skin.
“Now, where were we?”
Crawling out your room nearly an hour later with sweat on your brows and unstable legs, you tried to conceal the cum dripping down your inner thighs. Toji refused to let you clean up, sliding a pair of shorts onto your legs and telling you it would be a waste to get rid of the gift he gave you.
Sitting down at the table without him, you were thankful to be the only one there. No one could see the way you were trembling and squirming with every squishy gush of cum that seeped out of you.
“Hi honey.” Joining you a few minutes later, none the wiser to what had happened upstairs, was your mother. Greeting you with a soft smile, she was about to open her mouth to speak again when the front door opened.
“There you are!” She beamed at seeing Toji walk through the front door. Your brow furrowed at seeing him come through the door instead of walking down the stairs. He’d made a comment about climbing out of your window and acting like nothing happened, but you didn’t think he was serious.
“Yeah, went on a walk.” He shrugged, stepping into the house and holding the door open. “And look who I found on the way!” With a fake beaming smile, Toji waved his hand behind him as Megumi walked through the door looking as unimpressed as the day you met him.
“Megumi, you’re home!” Clapping excitedly, your mother shot up from her seat and to him, giving him a quick hug and taking the bag slung over his shoulder.
“Mhmm. Nice to see you again.” Polite as ever, Megumi smiled briefly at your mother.
“Go sit down at the table, we’re just about to have dinner!”
“Okay.” Nodding slowly, Megumi set his eyes on you, raking over your form as he took a seat across from you. The silence between you two was thick and you could tell there was something hanging on the tip of Megumi’s tongue.
“Hi.” You whispered, briefly making eye contact with him before looking at the wood grains on the table.
“Hi.” Sighing out the word, Megumi kept his eyes on your face, observing the way you bit your lip nervously and kept your thighs tightly clenched together. When his eyes dropped down to see the tennis bracelet on your wrist, you thought smoke would pour out of his ears.
“Getting acquainted with your new step sister?” Sauntering into the space, Toji roughly ruffled your hair, laughing at the way you swatted him away before doing the same to Megumi.
“You could say that.” The younger man replied, his eyes slightly narrowed looking between the two of you. Loudly pulling out the chair next to you, Toji sat down and slid his hand onto your thigh under the table.
“Alright, everyone, time to eat!” Ever the hostess, your mother appears without fail with the pizza you’d said you wanted for dinner.
As you ate, you could tell Megumi knew something was up between you and Toji. He always seemed to make eye contact with you whenever Toji’s hand strayed too high up your thigh and his thumb grazed your soaked slit. He was far too keen, sending you questioning looks whenever you would clear your throat to cover up a soft moan.
Left to clear the table with him, you couldn’t make eye contact with Megumi at all. The silence between you two was overbearing, made even more so when you went to the kitchen to wash the dishes.
“So, (Y/N)...my dad is fucking you, isn’t he?” Megumi’s abrupt question made the plate you had in your hands fall back into the sink with a loud clatter.
“W-what?” Staring down at the soapy water covering your hands, you could feel Megumi’s eyes burning a hole into your head.
“Don’t think I didn’t notice you two at the table. And I saw him climbing out of your bedroom window.” Taking a clean dish out of your hand, Megumi peers his head into your personal space, forcing you to make eye contact with him.
“And what if he is?” The lump in your throat was bigger than you expected, choking you as you tried to speak. This was it, now that Megumi knew he would tell your mother and life as you knew it would be over for you.
“Don’t cry.” He said softly, wiping off a tear on your cheek you didn’t even know was there. “My dad’s sick, taking advantage of you like this.”
“What?” Hiccuping softly, you rush to wipe the other tears off.
“I knew ever since he started dating your mom that he was into you, I’m sorry I didn’t try and stop him.” Megumi sighed heavily, shaking his head as if to chastise himself. “I’ll have a talk with him and-”
“N-no, don’t.” Sniffling the last of your tears away, you force your voice to be steady. “I can handle it.”
“(Y/N), he’s not a good man, he won’t listen to you if you just tell him to stop.”
“I know, I just-”
“Then let me help you!” Clearly growing agitated, Megumi’s voice rose and his palm slapped against the counter, making you jump. There was silence, then the shuffling of footsteps with Toji appearing in the kitchen entryway with a furrowed brow.
“What’s going on here?” Looking between the two of you, his gaze settled on Megumi. “You, speak.”
“I know what you’re doing.” Megumi glared at him. Refusing to back down, he remained locked in a stare with Toji as the man approached.
“Yeah? And what that might be?” Coming nearly face to face with each other, you noticed how close in height they were to each other, with Toji only a few inches taller.
“You’re taking advantage of (Y/N).”
“Ha, and who said that?” Flicking his eyes to you, Toji chuckled. “Cause I know it wasn’t her.”
“You’re disgusting, you know that? You’re married to her mother for God’s sake!”
“Whoop-de-fucking-doo, you’re so observant.” Spinning his finger in the air, Toji pushed Megumi’s shoulder. “What do you plan on doing about it?” Quirking a brow, Toji didn’t wait even two seconds for a response. “I know you’re just upset I got to her first, kid. Now all you’ve got is your little hand at night.”
“That’s not true!”
“Even if it’s not, keep your fucking hands off what’s mine.” Hooking an arm around your shoulder, Toji pressed a kiss to your temple. “If I catch you so much as jerking it when she’s around, I’m kicking your ass.”
“Fuck you.” Megumi spat, his fists clenched at seeing Toji touch you so casually. It boiled his blood to see his dad treating you like this; there wasn’t a doubt in Megumi’s mind that you weren’t suffering with him around.
“Sorry, not into boys.” Letting you go, Toji slinked away to the fridge and grabbed a can of beer. Leaving without another word, as he turned the corner Megumi slammed his hand down against the counter.
“That fucking bastard.” He snarled, hanging his head low and trying to calm his shaking breath. Slowly releasing the tension in his body, Megumi stood up straight and ran a hand through his hair. “Sorry, I need to take a walk.”
“Okay.” You whispered back, probably going unheard as he stormed out the back door. Leaving the rest of the dishes in the sink, you left the room as well, going up to your room and staying there for the rest of the night.
It’s deathly quiet in the house the following day. Any instance where Megumi and Toji are in the same room, the tension rises dramatically. Refusing to even acknowledge the others presence, Toji has already whisked your mother away for an impromptu date night at five pm, promising to stay out late with a biting tone directed at Megumi.
“Finally that dirtbag left.” Huffing as soon as the door is closed, Megumi slumped onto the couch. “I can’t stand him, I don’t get what your mother sees in him.”
“I have no idea.” You mumble, feigning disinterest and scrolling on your phone. In truth, whenever you had a moment alone during the day, Toji had come up to you and touched you, teasing you by cupping your ass or kissing you. All you wanted to do was go upstairs and relieve the burn between your legs, but no good excuse to leave Megumi alone came to mind.
“Some of my uni buddies sent me home with a gift, if you’re interested.”
“What is it?” Sending him a curious look, you watched him hop up from the couch.
“You’ll see.”
The gift in question was an unopened bottle of liquor one step up from the bottom shelf. It didn’t smell good when he opened the bottle and even mixed with some juice from the fridge, the burn as it went down your throat was horrid.
“Are you sure this can be called a gift?” You blanched, face scrunching up tightly in displeasure.
“When you’re on a budget like we are, yeah.”
“I thought Toji sent you money?” Swirling the liquid in your cup, you watched Megumi take a bitter sip.
“Why would I ever use his money?” Sure, Toji made sure Megumi’s bank account never hit below five digits, but that didn’t mean he wanted it or even asked for it. Leaving well enough alone, you turned on a random movie and kept drinking, keeping all mentions of Toji at bay.
It doesn’t take long for the two of you to get properly drunk, words slurring together and dumb drunk giggles shared between you. It was easier to get to know Megumi this way, his likes and dislikes and general personality; the harsh scowl on his lips was gone, replaced with a lopsided smile.
“I gotta take a leak.” Stumbling up from the couch, Megumi strolled out of the room, keeping his hand on the wall to steady himself. Flipping through your phone in his absence, a sudden text caught your attention.
(Toji): daddy’s bored baby, send me a little something
(Y/N): like what?
(Toji): I’d love to see you in that new lingerie
Giggling coyly as if he’d spoken the words directly to you, you kept a tight grip on your phone as you made your way to your room. Megumi and the movie on the TV didn’t even cross your mind as you closed your door and went straight to your dresser drawer.
It was a bit of a hassle getting your clothes off and then the new ones on, your vision was swimming and every few seconds you stopped to giggle at yourself and your lack of ability. Bumbling through sliding the lacy panties up your legs, you flopped onto bed and opened the camera.
Emboldened by the alcohol, you took several pictures of yourself for Toji. Nearly all of them were at least slightly blurry, some brazen shots of your cunt through the panties while others were tasteful shots of your breasts.
Sending them off with a few heart emojis and a little ‘sorry, I’m drunk’ tacked on, you clutched your phone to your chest as you waited for his reply.
“(Y/N), you in here?” Megumi threw open your bedroom door with no warning or second thought, his eyes bulging out of his skull seeing you spread out on your bed in lingerie.
“Gumi, get out!” Throwing your hands over your body, you let your phone fall to the floor. Stuck in a drunken stupor, Megumi didn’t leave the room, but he did look down at the text Toji sent you.
“Why is my dad texting you that he’s fucking rock hard?” Curling his lip in disgust as he read the message aloud, he scrolled up to see the previous messages, his mouth falling open at seeing your pictures.
“Megumi!” Snatching your phone angrily from him, you gave him a hard shove. “Leave!”
“(Y/N), don’t let him do this to you!” Megumi barely moved from the push.
“Just leave!”
“No! I won’t let him ruin your life!” Grabbing onto your shoulders, Megumi swayed slightly. “I know it can be exciting to get attention like this but- but don’t do it with him.”
“You don’t know anything.” Crossing your arms over your chest, you refuse to meet Megumi’s eyes. He’s silent for a beat, weighing whatever options are inside his head.
“I do know some things.” Licking his lips nervously, Megumi tilts his head and catches your eye. “I do know anyone is better for you than that nasty fuck. Even I’m better than him.”
“Yeah?” For some reason, you crack a smile for him. There’s something about how adamant Megumi hates his father that makes you laugh a little.
“Let me show you.” His voice drops and Megumi shuffles closer to you, the fabric of his t-shirt grazing your nipples through the thin fabric of the bra. The action, along with the way Megumi looks at you, has the heat between your legs picking up again.
You’re grabbing his collar and kissing him before you can take a full breath in, lips drunkenly smashing against each other as you stumble back onto your bed. Megumi’s hands go up and down your sides, grabbing and squeezing your flesh between his fingers.
Kissing down your neck, Megumi’s hand slides under your panties and he doesn’t speak on the fact you’re already wet enough that he can slide two fingers into your cunt with ease. Even if the fact does catch his mind it’s gone just as quickly as he grinds the heel of his hand on your clit.
Sloppily rutting into your thigh, Megumi lets out a pleased sigh when you tug his sweatpants down and free his cock. Jerking him off as you kiss, he swats your hand away when he finally gets fully situated overtop of you.
“Fuck.” You both groan as he slides in, your panties hooked to the side because both of you were too frantic to properly take them off. Megumi kisses you as he thrusts into you, noses bumping painfully together as you chase your high.
Even with Megumi looking exactly like him, you still find yourself wishing it was Toji above you. They sound nearly identical as well, Megumi’s groans a dead ringer for his fathers. Keeping your eyes squinted, you force the image of Toji to be the one in front of you and combined with Megumi messily rubbing your clit, you’re able to cum with a soft moan the same time as Megumi.
“Shit, I came inside.” When the glow of his orgasm finally subsided, Megumi pulled out of you with a hiss and slid your underwear back into place.
“It’s okay, I’m on the pill.” A decision you were happy about, remembering Toji had cum inside you as well. Sitting with you a few minutes longer, catching his breath and lightly petting your hair, Megumi comes to a slow stand.
“I’m going to take a shower, try to get some sleep.” Pulling your blanket over you, the two of you share a smile before he leaves. Your phone lays forgotten on the floor, all the ensuing text messages from Toji ignored as you fall asleep.
It’s not that he’s upset. No no, Toji could never be upset with you. He was more disappointed than anything. Coming home in the dead of night to an empty bottle of vodka on the floor and his son passed out drunk in his bed, and then coming to your room to see you still in the lingerie you’d sent pictures of with cum that wasn’t his smeared along your panties.
No, Toji wasn’t upset. But the way he ripped the blanket off your body could lead you to think otherwise. Staring at you, passed out and utterly helpless beneath him, the desire to ruin you had him rolling his shoulders. He was getting excited at the prospect of hurting you, teaching you a lesson in not sharing what was his.
Climbing on top of you, Toji spread your legs apart, a sick grin pushing his cheeks up. It wasn’t everyday he got to use his own sons cum as lube, and it surely wouldn’t happen again. But as Toji slid his cock into you and the squelch of it sounded around his cock, he couldn’t help but let out a deep, low laugh.
Lighting a cigarette over you, Toji goes slow in fucking your sleeping body. He doesn’t need to worry about your mother possibly wondering where he was; he had drugged her on the way back home. Megumi wouldn’t wake up even if you screamed, liquor was always a good nightcap for him.
Maybe Toji was a bit upset, because the longer he stared at you, the more irritated he became. He knew he would have to take care of Megumi later, smack the kid around a few times and send him on a train back to university. But with you, your punishment needed to be special.
“Wakey wakey, sweetheart.” He sang to himself, nearly dropping the cigarette dangling between his lips as he shifted forward and wrapped both hands around your neck. Slowly increasing the pressure, Toji’s eyes flew open in delight when you choked and sputtered to life.
“Toji?!” Your voice was practically none existent, there was hardly any air left in your lungs for you to make a sound. Your fingers clawed at Toji, struggling to be let go in your still drunken haze.
“Thought you could go and be a slut, did ya?” Leaning over you, Toji begins to pound into you. Although there’s a slightly softer give because you’re still wet, your cunt still burns painfully from the treatment and Toji refuses to be even the slightest bit gentle.
He lets go of your neck when your hands fall slack, clamping one hand on your waist as the other ashes his cigarette over your stomach, watching as it settles onto your skin.
“Le-let me go.” You force the words out between hard gulps of air.
“Why, so you can fuck my son again?” He cocks his head to the side and takes a long drag, blowing the smoke right in your face.
“How do you-”
“Cameras, baby. I put cameras all over the house and there’s a couple in your room right now.” Toji revels in your surprised expression and even more so in the pained one you give him when he takes another drag and puts the lit cigarette against your skin. You scream exactly how he wanted you to and he does it again and again.
“Toji! Toji stop, please-” You sob, trying to swat away the cigarette butt getting your hands pinned to the mattress instead. Looking down at your thighs, there’s several blooming burns taking shape, marring your skin and leaving bloody welts.
“Only if you stop being a slut.” Finally done with his cigarette, Toji flicks it onto your bed to be dealt with later. Planting both hands by your head, Toji sneers down at you. “Tell me, are you ever going to fuck someone else again?”
“N-no.” Tears cloud your vision and you shakily put your arms around Toji’s shoulders as he fucks you even harder.
“No what?”
“No daddy!” Fully wailing, you bury your face into Toji’s neck when he leans down close enough. “No no no no.” Your quivering little cries are all Toji needs to cum, slamming his hips against yours one last time before stilling completely. He breathes deeply as his seed mixes with Megumi’s, too much for your cunt to handle as it spills out when he pulls out.
“That’s what I thought.” Toji isn’t gentle when he removes himself from you. He’s even less so in removing your lingerie, ripping it to shreds with his bare hands and touting that it was ruined now. He leaves you alone for a few minutes, returning in only his boxers with a new shirt in his hands that he forces onto you.
Sitting at the head of your bed, Toji pulls you into his lap. His shirt does a good job of covering the burn marks littering your upper thighs, something you want to forget about sooner rather than later.
“I’m telling my mom.” The words fall slowly from your mouth, taking all your courage to say. Toji snorts, lighting another cigarette and blowing the smoke into the air.
“Life’ll get a lot worse for you if you become a little tattle-tale.” He says it calmly, meeting your eye when you pull away to look up at him. “Who do you think stopped all those debt collectors? Payed off this shitty house and filled not only your mom's bank account but also your fridge.”
“I-”
“Who’s gonna take care of her if I leave? You two certainly weren’t cutting it without me.” He’s right and you know it. The truth of the matter was that you couldn’t survive without Toji’s money and if your mother left him, the two of you would have an even harder time finding work.
The truth made tears burn your lashes and fall down your cheeks, hiccuping cries left your lips that were only slightly muffled by Toji pulling your head into his chest. Putting out his cigarette, he ran a hand down your back and cooed.
“Oh pretty baby, don’t cry. Daddy won’t do it again, he promises. So long as you promise to keep that little mouth shut and let him do whatever he wants. We got a deal?” Toji half nods your head for you, pressing a big kiss to your forehead.
“Daddy, m’tired.” Sniffling loudly, you force the tears to stop falling, biting your lip to stem the flow.
“Let’s go to sleep then.” Shuffling you under the covers, Toji follows suit. He smells strongly of cigarettes, the scent overtaking you as his head hits your pillow. Pulling you against his body, Toji grips your ass tightly. “Goodnight doll.”
“Goodnight.” Biting back another wave of tears, you push your head into Tojis chest and will yourself to go to sleep.
Being awoken with your step fathers hands around your neck had been scary and was imprinted on your mind for the rest of your life. But waking up in the morning with your legs over his shoulders and his face buried in your cunt was surely a memory that would stick with you as well.
“There she is.” Toji grinned, his chin glistening as he looked up at you. “Took you long enough.” Shoving his tongue deep into you, Toji stifled any opportunity for a response. Your heels dug into his back, hand shooting out to grip his messy bedhead. With how sensitive you were already, he must have been between your legs for a while.
Sucking on your clit, Toji groaned as you gripped his hair painfully hard, your back arching high off the bed as you came. Your body thrashed around, hands trying to pull Toji closer while also pushing him away. Pulling his mouth away, Toji rubbed his fingers against your clit in the absence of his tongue.
“Good morning, princess.” Laughing when you smacked his hands away, Toji sat up and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, making a show of licking off all of your slick that coated his face.
“G-good morning.” Breathless from the ordeal, you dumbly kissed Toji back when he knelt down and captured your lips. You could taste yourself so strongly on his tongue and smell yourself on his skin.
Breaking the kiss, Toji helped you dress for the day. He didn’t make any mention or acknowledge the marks on your legs, only giving them a flitting glance as you pulled on some pants.
Walking down the stairs together, to your horror Megumi was already in the kitchen when you walked in. He glared angrily at Toji, giving the man a wide berth as he moved about the space. Slinking to the farthest wall, he sent you a pitying look and took a sip of the coffee in his mug.
“Good morning!” Your mother announced her presence with a loud yawn, barreling into the kitchen with terrible bedhead and a stumble to her walk.
“Good morning mom.” You couldn’t look her in the eyes, keeping your head bowed as you returned her greeting.
“Morning honey.” Toji smirked, kissing your mother right on the mouth and keeping her there for a few seconds.
“Get a room.” Megumi mumbled under his breath, rolling his eyes at the two.
“Toji, what’s that taste in your mouth?” Smacking her lips together as she pulled away from the kiss, your mother furrowed her brows. “Is that a new gum or something?” Making direct eye contact with you, Toji snorts and pulls her into a hug.
“Yeah, something like that.”
Pieces of You
Lucy should’ve been used to it by now: the nagging pain in her side at seeing Tim talk to another pretty woman on shift. Well, okay, technically, they were just starting their shift, and they hadn’t left yet— mostly because of the aforementioned woman. She stood in front of Tim, who was leaning back against the front desk of the Mid-Wilshire station. Lucy watched from afar for a moment as his shoulders sagged, like he was carrying the weight of the world on them. Oof. Maybe it was one of those awkward, “thanks but no thanks” convos he sometimes had with women who flirted with him. Besides, as far as she knew, he was with Ashley now. And Tim wouldn’t ruin that, would he? Yikes. That shoulder touch said otherwise though. And was that....oh hell. An actual smile? Wow, okay. Obviously it was time to intervene. She coughed, making her presence known. She ignored the growing envy at how pretty the woman was up-close. Her red hair was fiery, matching her fierce eyes, and her features were sharp, smooth, refined.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Almost like... “Lucy, hi. Sorry, I didn’t mean to get caught up.” “I-it’s okay, but we really should go.” She patted his shoulder for good measure, and saw the woman glance between them at the contact. Maybe that would ward her off, Lucy thought. “Oh, so this is Lucy?!” The woman’s knowing tone caught Lucy off guard. Well, that’s a first. “I—“ “Wow, oh my god! It’s so nice to finally meet THE Lucy Chen!” Lucy didn’t dare utter any more words for fear of sounding like a sputtering idiot. Her mouth did open once more trying to make a sentence come out to no avail though. “Sorry,” the woman apologized, catching Tim’s eye. “I’m Genny. Genny Bradford, Tim’s sister.” Now Lucy really was speechless. Another first. “I—you—I’m sorry, what?” Lucy squeaked. She coughed, schooling her voice into a more appropriate tone. “I mean, hi, it’s nice to meet you.” Genny fixed her with a knowing look this time. “Tim didn’t tell you about me, did he?” All Lucy could do was shake her head no. It didn’t stop her from stealing a glance at Tim, who, much to her amusement, looked a bit mortified by the whole conversation. “In my defense—“ “Oh shut up, baby brother,” Genny said playfully. Lucy bit back a laugh. “You um, you never made it into conversation. But it’s nice to know there’s someone that can actually get away with bossing Tim around. Do you know the amount of times I’ve wanted to tell him to—“ She paused, realizing her momentary lapse of forgetfulness. Tim, being her (technical) boss and all, was still standing right next to her. Shit. “—please give us a minute so I can exchange numbers with your lovely sister, Sergeant Bradford,” Lucy saved herself in a sweet tone. “Uh huh,” Tim’s clipped response came and went, much as he did to the shop with their war bags. Genny and Lucy did trade cell numbers, and went on their ways.        ___________________________________________________________ Lucy got in the passenger side of the shop, mood evened out now that she knew who Tim’s sister was. The only lingering question she wanted an answer to was: what was his status with Ashley? She was embarrassed to care so much, but the knot in her stomach would undo itself more if she just knew what they were. Or what she was— is — to Tim. If anything. “Soooooo,” she attempted. “So, we’re here to work, Chen. Not discuss my family. So table the sister talk, alright?” “Yessir. Shutting up.” An awkward silence fell over the shop for a couple blocks before Lucy couldn’t take it. “I’m sorry, y’know, but she’s really nice. And seems really chill and cool and— well—“ she paused, a sly grin creeping on her face. “Are you sure you’re related?” She heard him scoff. “I’m kidding, Tim!” “Very funny. Yes, we’re opposites. Are you really that surprised?” “I—well,” she pursed her lips. “No, no I guess I’m not. Honestly, I thought you were an only child. I had no idea you even had siblings, let alone a sister. An older sister, I might add.” He had a reply on the tip of his tongue when their radio crackled to life. “7-Adam-100, accident at the intersection of Van Nuys and Roscoe. Fire en route, please respond as secondary for possible intoxication.” “7-Adam-100, responding.” They drove over to the scene of the accident. Well, minor collision. Though the driver of the SUV wasn’t the drunken party. The woman on the bicycle was. The SUV hit another car after swerving to avoid said cyclist. Oops. “Well, Hell,” Tim grumbled as he watched the wobbly woman on the bike try to stay standing. “Ma’am, what happened here?” “It’s not illegal to drink and bike,” she protested, but it fell flat just like she did, right back to the ground. “Oh,” Lucy said alarmed, looking back at Tim. He rolled his eyes, helping her to help the woman back up. “Ma’am, we’re gonna have to take you in.” “For what?!” “Causing a disturbance, causing an accident, public intoxication, need I say more?” It was Lucy who rolled her eyes at Tim’s sassiness. She looked over her shoulder as the firefighters finished putting out the minor flames of the second vehicle. The suv driver waited by the paramedics, and they took in their suspect. “Have the driver meet us at the district so we can get her full statement please,” she called down. The paramedic gave her a thumbs up. She could already tell this was gonna be a long day.              ___________________________________________________ “I cannot believe you arrested a woman driving her bicycle drunk!” Genny astonished, looking back to Lucy who sat across from her at a picnic table in the food truck lot. “Honestly, it’s not the first time a drunken woman tried to maneuver something other than a car. There was this one time, actually just last year, when I was a rookie... a woman was drunk and tried to getaway on a scooter.” She turned to Tim, suddenly remembering he was there with her that day of course. “Oh man, and Tim! Aw, poor Tim! She hit your foot with the scooter!” She tried not to chuckle, but failed miserably when he had that grumpy expression on his face. “Sorry,” Lucy tried. “It was definitely a memorable way to finish up my checklist, that’s for sure.” “I suppose,” Tim offered coldly, grabbing his drink and putting the straw to his lips again. Lucy put her head down, not wanting to say anything else. She knew he was in a mood. She looked over to Genny instead, who offered her a sympathetic glance. “Tim, come on, tell me more stories about training days! No offense baby bro, but your sergeants life sounds a little ‘eh’ right now. I need to live vicariously through you right now while I’m taking this break from work.” Lucy noticed her cringe afterward. Why was that bad? “Sorry, what was that? What break from work? What happened to your nonprofit gig?” “No, no, nothing! I still have it! I still have my job, it’s fine. Shit, I really didn’t wanna do this....like this.” Her eyes cut over to Lucy, who suddenly felt like she didn’t need to be here anymore. “I’ll umm, I’ll leave you guys to—“ “No, boot. Sit down,” Tim ordered. Her brows knitted together, partially in frustration, partially in worry. She didn’t know if she should hear whatever was supposed to happen next. It felt intrusive, for her to be here in such a pivotal family moment. “Fine. Tim, listen. The real reason I’m here is because....dad’s sick, okay? He’s really sick. And his house is falling apart because he can’t do the repairs. So, I’m here to help. And well, I’d hoped you’d help me too.” “No, no way. No way in hell, Genny. You know him. You know how he is. You know this!” As he yelled, he got up from the table, ready to storm off. “Really Tim? Come on!” “No, we’re done. C’mon, boot. Now!” He barked, and Lucy gave Genny an apologetic glance before doing as requested.                                ________________________________
An understandable silence fell over the shop for the rest of their shift. They took calls, but didn’t speak unless it was to discuss info pertaining to said calls. It was, without a doubt, the longest shift Lucy had as a sergeants aide. And she was really worried about her sergeant. She wanted to help, she just didn’t know how. It wasn’t until she’d gotten changed out that an idea struck. She took out her phone, and sent off a quick text. What can I do to help you guys with this? Genny’s reply came easily. Just be there. Tomorrow, 10am, 245 Maple Grove Ln. Thanks, Lucy. -G Lucy smiled, a renewed sense of determination washing over her. She always wanted to help, but she also knew how important this was for them. For Tim. And she especially wanted to help him navigate this tough time. So, when morning came, Lucy found herself waking up....shockingly with a sense of dread that replaced last night’s thoughtfulness. Oh god, what had she done. Gotten in the middle of a family dispute she had no business being in. What the hell was wrong with her? She cursed to herself as she got dressed. That was probably going to be the first thing out of Tim’s mouth when he arrived. If Genny could even convince him to come. As she went out the door to her car, her phone went off again. This time, a phone. And this time, from Tim. “Look, I already know what you’re gonna say, so I’m gonna save you the trouble. Meet me over at 245 Maple Grove Lane, and I’ll consider it. But only because between you and my sister, my ears would be completely talked off until I caved in to at least go there. So I’ll step foot inside, but I won’t guarantee anything else.” “You think you’ve got me all figured out, don’t ya?” “I know everything you’re gonna do, Lucy.” That shouldn’t have sent a shiver down her spine, but it did. “See you soon, Tim.”                                  ______________________________ When she arrived, she almost thought she’d gotten the wrong place. The outside looked pristine. It wasn’t until she saw Tim’s truck by the curb, him idling by, that she got out for a closer look. “He’s had gardeners do the yard for years,” he offhanded, picking himself up off his truck and heading towards the front door. Lucy simply nodded, following suit. Besides, coming in second afforded her a quick look at the most casual of Tim Bradford attire. He wore jeans which weren’t unusual for his choice in plainclothes. Normally he wore layers with his shirts, throwing a jacket over a Henley or a plaid shirt over a plain tee. But not today. Nope, today he wore a simple greige — that’s grey-beige — crewneck. And that’s it. She tried not to notice the way the fabric stretched over his broad shoulders, but failed miserably as they walked into the home. A “fuck” was whispered under his breath, and Lucy came around to stand beside him to get a look at the place. Oh, wow. It did need a lot of work. Paint chipping off the walls, wallpaper coming down, ceiling scrapes, flooring issues, the list went on. Yeah no wonder Genny needed help. This was way more involved than Lucy thought. “So,” she started, glancing up at Tim. “What do you think?” “I think,” he sighed heavily, taking a hand through his hair. “I think I’m gonna have to help... my sister, I mean. There’s no way she can do this alone.” Lucy refrained from a smart comment, knowing Tim would never outright admit his real reasoning. Not that she could blame him. Sure, her parents weren’t perfect, but compared to Tim’s dad, they seemed like saints. She was curious to know if he was actually here or not. It was then she realized she didn’t even know his name. She shifted over to him, nudging her shoulder against his arm with a supportive smile. “Ahhh, good! You’re here!” Genny’s voice echoed through the house. “You know I’m only doing this for you,” Tim told her.
Tumblr media
“And I’m only doing this for you—“ Lucy caught herself mid-slip, adding: “both” before anyone could hopefully give it a second thought. Hopefully. She didn’t miss the way Tim’s eyes locked onto her though, and how her cheeks heated up at his gaze. Dammit. “So!” What shall we do first?” “Depends,” Genny began, quirking a brow. “How good are you with power tools?” “I’ve handled ‘em a few times,” Lucy acknowledged, knowing Tim was next to her ready to either retort with “a halogen doesn’t count, Chen,” or be pleasantly surprised. “Hammer okay? I may trade ya if I get tired of the axe, but for now I’m good.” “Sure thing!” “Tim, you’ve got the drill and I may need the buzzsaw up and running. Depends on how much of this wall we get through first,” Genny told him, gesturing to the enclosed space of what was a living room. “Sure,” he mumbled. “Let’s just get this done.” He saw the toolkits and belt on the ground off to the side, so he walked over and grabbed the belt for himself, and handed Lucy a pair of goggles. Genny already had hers attached to her plaid shirt so he needn’t worry. “Thank you,” Lucy singsonged to him, simultaneously thanking Genny who handed her a hammer. She went to work where she was told, taking out nails and hammering through some other holes before she and Genny switched things up.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Laughs were exchanged between the two when Tim came out with a saw and a confused expression on his face. “Genny when the hell did you get this?” “An ex left it behind at my place back East. So, I kept it. Sue me.” He rolled his eyes and his sister, and Lucy giggled some more. They really were related. “You guys really are siblings, aren’t you?” “Unfortunately, yeah,” Tim joked, and Genny shoved his shoulder. “The times I claim him, yeah,” she added just as playfully. “Ha ha.” Lucy smiled. She actually liked seeing Tim joke around. She hadn’t seen him do that in ages. “Lucy, can you grab me a nail gun?” “Coming right up!” She cheerfully walked — with a skip in her step — to the other side of the room where the rest of the tools were. Lucy didn’t know it but Tim watched her with the tiniest of smiles on his face. She may not have known it, but his sister sure did. “Tim, come help me move this cabinet.” Genny led him over to the area off the living room, and they shifted a cabinet from the wall. “So,” she eyed him curiously. “How long’s that been going on?” Tim paused his movements. “Excuse me?” Genny bopped her head over to the living room where Lucy was, then back to Tim standing in front of her. “You and Lucy? How long have you guys been together?” “Oh, no, Genny. We’re not together. She was my rookie, and now she’s my aide.” Thankfully Lucy wasn’t within earshot to hear him actually use the proper term. “Uh huh, and you expect me to believe that’s all she is to you?” “We work together, Genny. That’s all.” “Oh please Timothy James you’re not fooling anyone! Except maybe yourself. And before you even say it, I see the way she looks at you too, same heart eyes, same bright smile, same in love look.” “Now you’re crazy,” he tried to brush it off, walk away, but she stops him. “No, I’m right. And just because you can’t admit it to yourself doesn’t mean I can’t see it. Hell, I bet you even people at work know, don’t they?” Shit. “No! Genny, knock it off. We’re just friends, coworkers, that’s that. And even if people did suspect anything, I wouldn’t cross that line anyhow. I never have.” “What line? You said it yourself she’s not your rookie anymore.” “She’s still under my command.” “I’m sure you’d want her under you but not in that way,” she quipped, and Tim almost thwacked her upside the head. “Gen!” “Well, I’m just saying. She’s perfect for you Tim. And she doesn’t seem like the type to get riled by rumors anyhow. Just— just don’t ruin a good thing by letting it go, okay?”
Tumblr media
“Not planning on it, not with her.” “Good. Cause I just want you to be happy. And Lucy.... baby bro I’ve seen you smile more today than I have in like a whole year when we lived under the same roof okay. Maybe even more than with Isabel. She’s GOOD for you.” “She is good, maybe even too good. And I don’t wanna mess things up for her.” “The only way you’d mess things up for her is by not telling her how you feel. Cause like I said earlier, she feels the same way. I can tell.” Tim opened his mouth to say something else when Lucy’s positive tone rang through. “Hey guys, I have the nail gun, where’d ya want it?” “Coming!” Genny called back, giving Tim a last look over her shoulder. He mouthed a “thank you.” He hoped she was right about this.                                     __________________________
After nailing a couple things back into place, and tearing down some others, Lucy was exhausted. She’d have almost fallen the last step off the mini ladder had Tim not caught her. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Genny eyeing them, a hint of a smirk crossing her lips. She coughed, extricating herself from his gentle hold. “Thanks.” “You’re welcome.” She pushed away the longing feeling for the warmth his body brought. Nope, now was not the time for those thoughts. It reminded her of their hug, which then reminded her of the tragic circumstances surrounding that embrace. Thankfully— or unfortunately, she was sure which yet — a loud crash broke both of them further apart from each other. “What the hell is going on here?! Genny! Get away from my fireplace!” Presumably, Genny was going to clean the fireplace up. Lucy saw the logs scattered about, assuming they’d been dropped. A flash of metal moved from Genny’s shaking hand to Tim’s dad’s harsh grip. Tim noticed the slightly frightened look on his sister’s face. And his eyes immediately locked onto the gun Genny had uncovered. He knew what would happen next if he didn’t intervene. And he be damned if he’d let his dad get mad enough again to intimidate his sister. “Dad, go back to your room, okay? Let’s talk there.” When the older man didn’t move from in front of Genny, Tim stepped between the two. “Tom! Now.” Even Lucy startled at the sound of his voice, watching as he also grabbed and pocketed the weapon. Tim sounded gravely serious. She’d never heard his voice sound so...dark. Tim reached back with his right arm to give his sisters shoulder a squeeze. Lucy felt his eyes fall back to her, and he mouthed an “I’m sorry” before his dad — Tom, she now knew — moved backward down the short hall to where she figured his room was located. She nervously watched Tim follow behind Tom, crossing her fingers that things would be okay. Genny let out a breath she’d been holding, and looked over at Lucy. They shared a look: one of concern for Tim.                        _____________________________________________ “Well, isn’t this a surprise.” “The hell is this, dad?” “I don’t have to tell you that, my cop son. Do I?” “Why! Do you have this buried in your house, huh?” “None of your damn business, that’s why.” “Y’know, I bet if I checked the serial number, it’s gonna come back unregistered. Or even worse, connected to a crime. Do you even think at all?” “It was from ages ago, Tim! Let it be, son!” “No,” he spat. “You don’t get to call me that. Not that way. Not this time. I’m only gonna ask you this one more time. Why. Do you. Have this.” “It was from an accidental shooting. When I was drinking, there was a bunch of people over one night. Not a party per-say. A poker night. It went off the rails. A buddy of mine shot a guy. The gun slid when people jumped up. The guy didn’t die, my buddy didn’t finish the job. I found the gun later, okay? I hid it because..... well because I knew if I told you back then... hell, this was 15 years ago Tim. You were just coming up through the academy. Starting your rookie training. I wasn’t gonna burden you with this.”
Tumblr media
“Like you haven’t burdened me enough already?!” Tom stared back in disbelief. “What?” “Oh don’t play dumb! You made our lives hell, for me and for Genny!” “Excuse me?” “You heard me, you son of a bitch.” “You’d better watch your mouth.” “Or what? You gonna hit me? No, you wouldn’t dare. Oh but wait, you already did that, right? Right.” “Tim—“ “No, no we’re not doing this. I’m not doing this with you. Because unless the next words out of your mouth are I’m sorry then I don’t wanna hear it.” “I’m sick.” “I know! Genny told me. She told me you’re sick. That’s why I’m fucking here. God, I don’t even know why I thought this was gonna be a decent idea—“ “What, did you expect an apology?” “No, I didn’t! God dammit dad I know you better than that. You’d never apologize. Not once. Not to me, for beating the crap out of me, or for terrorizing Genny because of it. Not to mom, for driving her away with your drinking. Not to anyone! For anything!” “Then why the hell are you here, boy?” “I though I’d get some sort of closure. Stupid me, I guess. And you can fuck off with all that ‘son’ and ‘boy’ BS because you sure as hell aren’t a father and I’m sure as hell not a boy anymore.” “Oh is that so? What you’re doing just fine, huh? Big man now? Living the dream?” “You know—“ “Oh, I’ll tell you what I know, Tim. I know about you and Isabel. I know she was shot and that’s what led her to finally get clean. I know about how you passed up a perfectly fine sergeants position in Malibu to finish training a ridiculous rookie. I know you’ve lost people in your unit. You wanna know what else I know? I know you didn’t have the kids you and Isabel talked about. How could you? You were too busy searching for her. And you’ve been searching for something else ever since.” “You have no right to tell me about my life. I have a job I am damn proud of. Yes, my marriage with Isabel ended. But since then I’ve been doing just fine. I have trained a rookie that’s the best I’ve ever known. The people in my district are some of the greatest people I’ve worked with. They support me, they know me, they actually treat me well, which is way more than I can say for you, you smug bastard.” The two men had taken steps closer together with every gut punch, and Tim knew if he had to throw an actual punch, he wouldn’t hesitate. Course neither would his father, that he knew for certain. But this time, Tim could fight back. He clenched and unclenches his fist a couple times, eyes still fixed on his dad. Tom looked like he could take a swing if he wanted to, even in his weakened state. “Tim.” He expected to hear Genny’s voice, but instead it was Lucy’s. She stood in the doorway, looking directly at him with that look of concern he’d come to know too well. He also knew she probably convinced Genny to let her go back there to check up on him. Damn, he should’ve told Genny to keep her away. The last thing he needed was precious Lucy Chen seeing the darkness of his world. “This isn’t your place, girl. This is between my son and I. Leave!” “Don’t you talk to her like that!” Tim growled, willing to slug him if he moved even an inch toward Lucy. “She’s in my house, intruding on our business, I’ll talk to her how I please!” “I-I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to, I just— Tim, please—“ Her lips parted, the same way they always did when she wanted to say more but couldn’t bring herself to. He knew she could turn a phrase when she wanted to, make something so simple sound so profound. It was one of the things he loved about her: the ability she had to read a situation and know exactly what she could say to remedy it. This was not one of those times. This was not something she could fix. And he never ever wanted her to. “Lucy, I’m okay. There’s nothing left to say here anyway,” he told her softly, turning to walk away from his father. Tom yanked him back though, and Tim elbowed him somewhere on his face out of reflex, making Lucy gasp and Genny come running at the sound of a crunch. When Tim turned, he almost felt bad for causing Tom’s nose to bleed. Almost. But the stupid conscience he still had inside of him won out, causing him to apologize to assuage his oncoming guilt. It didn’t really matter though. “I’m sorry, dad. But we’re done here.” He turned on his heels, and Lucy and Genny made way for him to exit. Tim left the house straight away, no stops, no not a word to anyone. On instinct, Lucy ran after him, apologizing to Genny on the phone as she was driving and realized what she’d done. “It’s okay, Lucy,” Genny told her. “Just go find my brother. Please.” “I will,” she reassured, hanging up and driving the rest of the way to Tim’s house. She knew he’d be nursing a beer in one hand when he answered the door. “I’m only letting you in because I know you won’t stop texting calling and knocking on my door until I do.” “Are you okay?”
Tumblr media
“No, no I’m not. But the thing I feel worst about is that you had to see that.” “Tim—“ “Lucy this is why I never brought up my sister, okay? Part of the reason why I barely mention my family. I never wanted you to be involved in any of this.” “Tim, stop. You know me! You know I wouldn’t judge you. I only wanna help. I just— I wanna make sure you’re alright.” “It could be worse. I could’ve completely decked him.” “Tim-“ she warmed, motioning him to sit down on the couch with her. He joined her, taking a long sip of his beer before continuing. “Well he deserved it. He deserved a lot more than that! But I talk cheap, because honestly, the only way I could see myself beating the crap out of him was if he laid a hand on you or Genny. Or anyone else I care about.” “I’m so sorry, Tim. I didn’t mean to make things worse for you...between you and Tom.” “You didn’t. He wouldn’t accept the fact that I was actually doing alright for myself. That wow, what a concept for me not to turn out like him! God, he places blame like it’s no big deal, but taking blame? Forget it. I know he’s not to blame for everything. I know I screwed up in my marriage with Isabel... not getting her help sooner. I know I’m not a perfect man, by any means. But I’ll be damned if I’m ever like him.” “You’re nothing like him, Tim. Nothing at all. I know you. You’re a good man. You’re honest, smart, tough, sure, but fair. Remember when I said you’re always on the right side of the law? Well, you’re also always on the right side of everything, period.” “Lucy—“ “No wait, let me finish,” she admonished, a smile playing on her lips. She even saw his lip curl up at her light tone. “You always take care of others. You always make sure they are happy and comfortable and safe. I’m sorry you’re dad didn’t do that for you. But you have people in your corner that will.” She took a chance by placing her hand on top of the one of his that wasn’t holding the beer. “Like me.” A rare Tim smile made an appearance to her. “Thanks.” “For what? Doing my job?” His signature downturned expression came next. It was perhaps her favorite because he only ever seemed surprise by her. And it was the hardest to earn, but easily the best reward.
What did I miss? w/ Hawks and Dabi
Request: Okay so hear me out: Hawks’ and Dabi’s s/o (as separate headcanons, or you can just choose one) is also a pro hero/villain and the lads think she died or something and they just become enraged and they’re so distressed (and the ending is soft because she’s okay and maybe they cry) I love your writing, I hope you have a nice day! -🐍
Lol I had a similar request some time ago for our younger boys which I never got around to doing because I’m bad at fulfilling requests and following orders lol. This will be both hilarious and angsty. Well hilarious if you have my sense of humour otherwise I’ll have to add cricket sounds. Okay maybe its not that funny but oh well, it didn’t make me cry at least. Love ya. 💖💖💖
Hawks/ Keigo Takami
Tumblr media
-Having two winged heroes on patrol always kinda led to disaster.
-You both would race each other to your randevouz points or you would mock each other about your wing span.
- “You know what they say about your wing span? The bigger the wings well....the bigger the assets.”
-You had bigger wings then him just for a few centimeters but you rubbed it in his face all the time.
- “Why am I in love with you again?”
-It really bothers him bc you keep saying he has a smaller dick than you....and you don’t have a dick so.....yeah....anyways.
-You were on patrol once again, goofing around on a rooftop.
 -It was late at night and you could be a little more handsy since there were’t many possibilities someone could walk in on you.
-Keeping your relationship a secret is hard and baby can keep his hands to himself for so long until he breaks.
-Suddenly out of nowhere you started hearing screams and cries for help.
-Keigo didn’t even get a chance to say anything before you were flying towards the building that was on FIRE.
-Dashing right after you he entered the building nad he was half expecting to see you there in the entrance, but he saw no one, only a large chunk of flaming wood etched into the mahogony floor.
-His mind immediately went to the worst scenario possible; it was like he couldn’t control his own thoughts.
-But right then, when his panic was beginning to surface, he heard you calling out for him.
-The rescue of the residents took around half an hour and it got harder and harder as time went on.
-The fire was getting out of control and was getting harder to locate everyone.
 -One apartment was left in the end and you could here crying coming from inside.
-The fire was basically licking at your boots at this point but you weren’t about to let someone burn.
- “Get those last two outside and I’ll meet you at the rooftop across the street.”
- “Y/N-”
- “Keigo GO! I promise I’ll meet you outside.”
-And that was the last thing he heard from you that night.
-He did as he was told, he got the last two people out of the building and soon after them a toddler was carried out of the building.
-He waited for you to come out next but you never came.
-The flames licked at the sky, their tips seeming to be touching the moon.
-The roof collapsed in on itself making the rescue teams to back away as they looked in horror as the whole flat came crumbling down.
- “SHE’S IN THERE!”
-HE doesn’t remember much from that night.
-He knows he went back inside or at least tried to get past the debris.
-He remembers seeing the color of your wings, that beautiful white, peeking out from under a fallen beam.
-He remembers the upper floor almost crashing him as he tried to get you out and then nothing.
-He woke up in a hospital bed, dressed in one of those white robes his whole body screaming at him not to move.
-If he was being honest he forgot for a moment the events of the previous night and he was expecting to find you sleeping on the chair next to his bed, your hand in his just like you had done so many times before.
-But you weren’t there and then everything came pouring in.
-Frantically he got up and he reached for the door, yanking it open and coming face to face with a doctor.
- “Where is she?”
- “Sir you should be in bed, you injuries-”
- “goddammit WHERE IS SHE?”
-His outburst had attracted some of the nurses but he couldn’t care less about his image right now.
-Where you gone? But he remembers getting you out from under those fallen stairs. Maybe you were already dead when he reached you.
-No no no you had promised ot find him outside, you had told him so. That’s why he left, that’s why he did as you said. What was he supposed to do now? Without you here what is he supposed to do?
-Everything was muffled out, the ringing in his ears being to loud to allow him to focus on anything else.
-His breaths came out shallow as his head swam with thoughts.
-You couldn’t be gone you just couldn’t he had so much he wanted to do with you, so many things planned you couldn’t-
- “Keigo?”
-He turned around slowly.
-At first he thought he was dreaming, your voice always seemed to soothe him when he was destressed.
-But then his eyes landed on you all bandaged up and sporting crutches.
-You were hurt but you were alive, you were here, you were alright.
- “What did I miss birdbrain?”
-He launched himself at you bringing you flush to his chest as he silently cried.
-He let a few I love yous slip past his lips before you both entered the privacy of his hospital room.
-Neither of you spoke for a long time.
-You just held each other as tightly as your stitches would allow before letting all the tears fall.
- “I’m here, we’re alright.”
Dabi
Tumblr media
-You had been sent out on a mission on your own.
-Dabi had tried to convince Shiggy to let him go with you but he refused.
- “I’m not sending you on this one with her. She is the best suited for this job and I’m not letting you mess it up just for your fuck buddy.”
-Shiggy really knows how to push Dabis’ buttons and if you ask me Dabi makes it easy at times.
-They were a pain in the ass.
-I mean you are going out on a mission let a girl get prepared in peace.
-Before they could set each other on fire and then dissolve into dust you dragged Dabi away telling Shiggy that you would be going soon.
- “Really Dabi at times I doubt if you trust me at all.”
- “It’s not that I don’t trust you dumbass. I just dontwantyoutogethurt.”
-Legit you didn’t hear anything he said but you had an inkling.
- “Oh what was that?”
- “I’m not saying it again.”
- “Here I am going out on a dangerous mission and you won’t even grant me one wish...how cruel.”
-He ended up saying it again but really really begrudgingly.
- “I’ll be back before you know it, okay?”
-You kissed his nose then his lips and let out a small I love you before heading down to the bar and getting the last info from Kurogiri.
-Now Dabi likes to see himself as a very heartless and stone cold individual.
-But you always were the exception to his behaviors so he couldn’t help but admit that he was worried.
-The mission was supposed to take three days plus one for you to return.
-It was still day two and he was ready to pull his hair out.
-But he promised you that he wouldn’t go out to search for you unless you have been gone for a week or more.
-So he just waited in agony.
-The moment though that you weren’t back in a week as you said you would be he went into a silent panic.
-He wanted to be nonchalant about it at first, just casually bringing up your whereabouts in convos with the league or asking Kurogiri of any mission reports from your end.
-Always came up with nothing.
-They had lost track of you two days ago and your last contact was yesterday.
-Now he was sure going to come after you.
-And no one could stop him.
-He knew you were strong and that you could handle yourself better than anyone in the league but he couldn’t stop himself from going after you.
-He had learned from Shiggy that the group you had targeted had a soft spot for torture if they caught someone in their territory.
-His mind of course went first to the worst case scenario, his pessimistc nature getting the better of him as flashes of you hurt on the floor of some basement ran throough his head.
-It didn’t take him long to reach your randevouz spot, mainly bc he was driving around Tokyo like a maniac.
-He entered the small house that was marked as you target and the first thing he was met with was blood.
-It was on the walls and on the floor and he couldn’t tell if this was yours or it was someone elses.
-Then he heard suffling from a closet nearby.
-It was a low scratching noise coming from the closet in the far back.
-He slowly approached it, his left arm letting small blue flames lick his fingertips as he opened the door.
-And then his heart dropped.
-Tumbling out of the closets’ interior was you, bloddied and bruised your arms barely keeping you propped up as you landed on the floor.
-He didn’t miss a beat.
-He scooped you up, moving stray hairs from your eyes as you barely kept them open.
-Your lip was split and you had a huge bruise right under your left eye.
- “Hey there baby.”
- “What the fuck happened Y/N?”
-You cringed as he moved his arms under your back, the pain being too much even for you.
- “They were waiting for me. I sent a message to Shiggy saying that I was coming back but he insisted I finish this. I managed to kill the leader but some of his rookies got to me.”
-He didn’t take you to the hideout.
-Oh no.
-If he had done that then there would be no Shiggy to lead them and there would’ve been a large fire in that area.
-He rented a room in a nearby motel.
-He let you rest while he went out and got you some disinfectants and bandages.
-Really when he was cleaning you up, if his tear ducts worked properly he would’ve cried.
-You woke up at some point while he was finishing up and you could feel his trembling and his silent sobs.
-You wrapped him in a hug, squeezing him as much as you could as you let your tears wet his t-shirt.
-His hands went up and down your sides and back, pulling you into his lap as he buried his face in the crook of your neck.
- “I’m alright, see? That’s my heart beat.”
-You placed one of his palms over your heart in hopes that the subtle thud would calm him down.
-He really loves you and he won’t let anything happen to you ever again.
-Even if it kills him.
----
“I promise he’s a nice guy!” Penelope gave your shoulder a little nudge,
“I told you I'm not ready Penny” you ignored her pleas.
Penelope had been your best friend since you moved to Virginia for university, you worked in a little coffee shop right by her apartment building. She’d stop in every morning, or whenever she got called into work, for a coffee. She wasn’t overly picky at first but as you got to know her, more of her bubbly personality came out as well. Penelope was only a few years older than you, but it wasn’t a major difference.
She was currently trying to get you to go on a date with one of her coworkers. It had been a few months since you broke up with your ex boyfriend and she thought it was time for you to get back out there.
“I just don’t want to set myself up for disappointment again pens” you wiped off the counter. She twirled her spoon in her cup, the shop was empty and it was only the two of you in there.
“I promise he won’t be a disappointment, just this once. He’s the sweetest guy I've ever met”
“Do you have a pic-”
“A picture ? I do but I'm not going to show you” She smiled at you.
You looked at her wide-eyed and brows furrowed, “what do you mean you’re not going to show me?” you asked her. “That’s the purpose of a blind date” she replied.
“Okay fine” you sighed, “let me ask you a few questions before I officially decide”
She took a sip of her coffee, waiting for you to question her. “What’s his name ?”
“Derek”
“How old is he ?”
“That’s for you to find out”
“What does he like ?”
“You can ask him that on your date”
“Are you going to keep telling me to ask him my questions ?”
“Yup”
You sighed, “fine, just this once” Penelope smiled and pulled out her phone. “Oh good we still have time, let’s go” she grabbed her coat and your hand before pulling you towards the door.
“Time for what ?”
“To get you ready for your date sugar plum”
“Tonight ?! Penelope I have to find something to wear, I gotta do my hair, I need-”
“You're coming to my place. Let me worry about the outfit, you do your hair”
The love you had for Penelope was unmatched, hence why you’re getting ready for a date with only a 2 hour notice. She made a phone call to who you could only assume was Derek on your way back to her apartment.
The 2 hours went by rather slow. Penelope worked her magic on you, she fixed your hair, picked out your outfit and even gave you a little pep talk to calm your nerves.
Penelope drove you to the restaurant, she told the bare minimum about Derek on the way there so you weren't at a total loss and so you didn’t have time to pick apart the information she provided you with.
“Okay honey bun, just tell the girl at the door you’re here for Morgan, she’ll take you to the table”
You sat in the car for a moment, looking out the window at the restaurant. Penelope gave your hand a squeeze. “If you want to leave, just tell him. He’ll understand” she kissed your cheek leaving a little red kiss mark on your face. You got out of the car and before you could say goodbye to her, she had driven off.
No turning back now.
Taking a deep breath, you brushed off the wrinkles from your shirt and headed into the restaurant. “Hi, uh I'm meeting someone here” you told the girl, she could see you were nervous. “First date ?” she asked, you nodded.
“What’s the name ?”
“Morgan”
She led you back outside to the patio. The man had his back to you, you could already tell that he was attractive, even with the lack of hair (which Penelope seemed to leave out of her information but it didn’t matter)
“Derek ?” you asked, walking to the other side of the table so he would be able to see you. “That's me, I'm guessing you’re y/n ?” “That would be me” you smiled at him. He stood up and stretched his arms out towards you, you stepped forward and felt his arms wrap around you.
Holy shit, he gives good hugs
You sat across from him, Derek had broad shoulders and a nice smile. Penelope had good taste in men and she knew your type to a T. “Did she ambush you with this date too ?” you asked, just wanted to get past that awkward first date phase of the conversation and Derek laughed. “Not exactly. To tell you the truth, I had seen a picture of you on babygirl’s desk and I was mesmerized” he chuckled, “she then explained that you were single and she would ask you if you were up to go for dinner or maybe drinks, nothing too over the top” he handed you a glass of wine.
“Oh that’s- wait, did you say baby girl ?”
“yeah, sorry shouldn't really call someone else baby girl while I’m on a date huh?” he chuckled.
God, even his laugh was attractive
“Oh no, that’s alright but Penelope said only one person calls her that and that’s her ‘chocolate thunder’”
“That would be me”
“You’re telling me she sent me on a date with her chocolate thunder?”
“She would tell you that it’s a ‘blood in the nostrils’ type thing so I wouldn't stress it”
Well this was off to a strange start
“What do you do ?” Derek looked over at you while you told him.
“I’m in the arts project at Columbia University”
“Isn’t that in New York ?”
“Yeah, it is but I'm finishing up my last co-op program here at the art museum”
“That’s really cool, so you paint and draw or like what’s your specialty?”
“I don’t really have one but I do draw and paint. Art curator is the dream job, if not then jewellery designer is the next one”
“I’m sure that’s more fascinating then my job”
“You’re a fricking F.B.I agent, I don't think there’s anything cooler than that”
Derek laughed at your enthusiasm for his job. “You think so ?”
“Oh totally” you smiled as you took a sip of wine.
Dinner was nice, the two of you talked about Derek’s job and your plans for after you finished university. “Are you thinking of staying here or moving back to New York ?” “well, nothing’s set yet but I'd stay if I had something keeping me here ya know?”
“Dessert ?”
“Oh, no thank you, unless you want something” you told him.
“How about a drink then ?” he asked
“Sounds like a plan” you smiled at him
You could feel your phone buzzing against your leg continuously. “Excuse me for a minute, I'm just gonna run to the bathroom” “take your time” Derek smiled at you.
When you got into the bathroom, you checked your phone. It was Penelope texting you to check how your date was going.
From Penny: sorry for zooming off like that haha, I didn’t want you to change your mind :)
From Penny: sooo how’s it going ?
From Penny: do you like him ?
From Penny: god I hope he’s not being rude to you
From Penny: i’m sure he isn't
From Penny: he’s an angel on earth I promise
From Penny: okay don't answer me then :(
From Penny: I'm going to have a serious talk with Derek when I see him
From Penny: he’s stealing you from me right now
From Penny: I NEED DETAILS!!!
From Penny: NOW!!!!
You decided to text her back before she shows up to see if everything is okay.
To Penny: It's okay, it's good you left or I would have changed my mind. he’s not being rude, he's been very sweet actually. He’s super funny and I like him so far. We’re going to get a drink now, I'll text you after.
From Penny: oh good I'm glad to hear that! :))
To Penny: Satisfied now ?
From Penny: yes I am, have fun now
You chuckled before slipping your phone back into your pocket and heading back to the table. “All set ?” Derek asked as he stood up. “Yeah, what about the bill?” you went to get your card from your pocket when Derek grabbed your hand.
“Don’t worry about it sweetheart, I got it already”
“Oh, thank you”
“No worries”
His hand rested on your lower back as the two of you walked out. “Where too ?” he asked
“There's a place down the street or if you want to go somewhere else ?” you suggested
“Anything’s good with me”
“My place then ? if you don't mind of course. I have a bottle of whiskey that’s just begging to be opened” you chuckled.
He smiled, “sounds good”
The restaurant wasn’t far from your apartment so you walked back. It wasn’t cold outside but it wasn't warm either. It was a normal autumn night, there was a warm breeze. You hadn’t remembered if you had tidied up or not and you invited him over to your place.
Good job y/n
You pushed open the door and braced yourself for a mess only to be met with a clean apartment. You let out a sigh of relief before stepping inside, Derek following you inside.
“Make yourself comfortable” you slipped off your shoes before heading to the kitchen. Derek mirrored your actions, he took off his shoes and followed your steps to the kitchen.
“Wow” Derek stood by your kitchen window, “how’d you end up with such a nice view ?” your apartment overlooked downtown and it was always beautiful when the sun was setting.
“Honestly, I just got lucky” You pulled the bottle out of your cupboard.
It was one of the bottles with the cork tops that you pull off but you couldn’t seem to get it off. A grunt and a ‘ow’ from you caught Derek’s attention, he turned around to see you rubbing your palm and the bottle was on the counter beside you.
“Can I ?”
“Be my guest”
Derek grabbed the bottle and you turned away from him to get glasses. A loud pop caused you to turn, Derek stood there with the opened bottle in his hand.
“Are you kidding me ?” you groaned making him chuckle.
“You know, I almost had it, your muscles just helped” you told him before resting the glasses on the counter.
“I’m sure you did sugar” he poured some into each glass.
Derek picked a glass up and you picked up the other. “To new friends and new beginnings” he said, you clink your glass against his before taking a sip.
“Can I tell you something ?”
“Of course”
“I wasn't even going to come tonight”
“How come ? If you don't mind me asking”
“I just didn’t want to set myself up again, what if it didn't work ? what if I didn’t know what to say or do when I saw you, ya know ? but it wasn't like that. You made me feel comfortable and safe” you admitted to him, Derek smiled.
“I’m glad I did. I really liked getting to know you y/n”
“And I you, Derek”
Derek's arm rested on your shoulder, your hand coming up to meet his, your fingers interlocking.
“Maybe we can do this again?” you asked him quietly
“I’d like that” Derek pressed a small kiss to your temple.
smut requested requests info
my internet friends are my favorite. a very thirsty convo is what allowed this to exist. this short little piece of pure filth. literally it’s smut with no plot at all. I WAS FEELIN THE ITCH ONLY ETHAN CAN SCRATCH OKAY.
also look at how s o f t he is.
Tumblr media
Your eyes gleamed as you sat back against the bed, watching him with patient hunger in your eyes. Ethan was on his knees, naked, with his hands secured behind his back. His cock was hard and there was such a desperate plea in his eyes you almost gave in.
Almost.
His eyes were begging you to touch him to do anything. You stood, your red lingerie set highlighting your curves perfectly as you moved to stand in front of him. His eyes danced down your curves, desperately trying to peek at your bare skin underneath the lacy fabric. A gag was secured around his mouth and when you reached out to drag one finger slowly down the curve of his spine he whined softly against the leather gag.
“The noises you make for me are so pretty baby boy,” You hummed, listening to him whimper and whine as you danced your fingers around his hip to the underside of his aching cock. You slowly traced the vein running under his cock and Ethan yanked hard against the handcuffs keeping him secured to the rope tied to the bed. “Eager?” You couldn’t help but tease him. Watching him sit here, his wide desperate eyes looking up into yours as he waited for you to touch him, was intoxicating.
You hear muffled begs through the leather gag, his desperate voice causing your lips to upturn. His cheeks were flushed as you curled your fingers around his cock, precum leaking out of the tip. Ethan’s head dropped back, groans escaping his mouth as you slowly stroked him. Your hand kept a steady pace as you worked him closer and closer to release, and when you noticed his eyes squeeze shut you released him.
A frustrated whine was all you heard from him as you watched his chest heave. You watch with morbid happiness as the high he nearly felt slowly drains from his eyes, and you could practically hear his heart pounding against his ribcage from where you stood. You sat back on your spot on the bed in front of him, reaching to the side of the bed to grab your dildo. As soon as Ethan sees what’s in your hand a look of desperate dismay crosses his face as he shakes his head. He hates it when you make him watch you use the dildo, he hates watching that dildo get to slide into your wet heat when he’s rock hard and aching for you.
“What’s wrong baby?” You playfully ask as you push the dildo into your tight cunt, watching with lidded eyes as Ethan whines against the gag once more. His eyes are locked on your pussy, watching the dildo disappear before sliding back out. Ethan’s not sure he’s ever felt as desperate as he does right now. Sweat trickles down the back of his neck, the heat in the room rising exponentially. He’s so turned on he feels like he’s going to explode if he doesn’t have your hands or your mouth or or something.
Ethan whimpers loudly when a moan tumbles from your lips, your hand pumping the dildo faster. His cock is so hard it feels as if there is a pulse running through it every time he hears the wet sounds of your pussy. He can’t take another second of this and he knows you’re just getting started. You push the dildo into your pussy faster until your back arches and you’re cumming around it. Ethan feels both immensely turned on, and agitated as fuck.
You smile coyly as you stand, taking a few steps before you’re knelt in front of Ethan, taking his cock into your mouth. Ethan whines again once he sees the curve of your back, your bare ass, and the warmth of your mouth around him. He gasps for air, desperately trying to keep control of himself as you suck his cock obscenely. He feels tingles shooting all over his body and it’s almost embarrassing how quickly his orgasm is approaching, but sure enough once you feel his stomach muscles tightening, you release him with a pop. Ethan whimpers as he feels his orgasm fading away for the 5th time this evening. His heart slams against his ribcage and you’ve gotten him so sensitive that he’s worried one thrust inside you will have him cumming.
You slowly reached up to remove the gag, and as soon as it fell from his mouth a jumble of words were coming out. It was a combination of desperate pleas, and comments on how incredible your mouth felt around him. Wordlessly you leaned up on your knees, your breasts level with Ethan’s face. Almost instantly Ethan opened his mouth and took your nipple into his mouth, pulling so hard against the restraints you were worried he would end up breaking the bed. “Fuck Ethan that’s so good...” You gasp, feeling his teeth bite down gently on your hardened nipple.
He kissed across the span of your chest until his lips closed around your other nipple, an unmuffled whine escaping his lips as soon as your hand found his cock. It was shameful how much you enjoyed seeing him like this, whiny and desperate on his knees before you. It was empowering to know that you’d reduced him to incoherent begging. You glanced back at his pale wrists and winced when you saw the bruises forming. You feel guilty about them but Ethan always brushes off your concern, insisting that the bruises reminded him of a damn good orgasm.
You lean away from Ethan, your hand stilling but not pulling away from him as his mouth tried to follow your nipples. “Tell me what you want.” Your voice is low and Ethan looks positively frazzled as he looks into your eyes.
“F-Fuck, I need you, need your- your, anything, fuck just please-” He whimpers desperately and you feel a rush of arousal dampen your pussy at the desperation in his tone.
“Words baby.”
“I need to cum!” Ethan cries out and you smile softly before straddling his waist. Ethan watches with hungry eyes as you slowly slide down onto his cock, nearly crying out at the sensation. You lean forward to bite at his earlobe, pressing soft kisses around his ear. “Don’t cum.” You hear him whine at your request and you smile before rocking on his lap. Rising until only his tip was inside you and then swiftly slamming back down onto him.
Your hand gripped his shoulders tightly as you threw your head back, the pleasure building as you bounced wildly on his lap. Ethan kept his eyes squeezed shut to try and reel all the pleasure in, doing his best to contain it as he felt himself being hurdled towards the edge once again. You reached down with one hand to rub at your clit, feeling your orgasm approaching once again, his cock hitting all the right spots inside you.
“Fuck Ethan, your cock feels so good inside me baby.” You cry out, listening to him groan under his breath. Ethan presses his forehead against yours, moaning into each others mouths. “Please let me cum baby, please.” Ethan begs desperately, and you know he’s close to cumming.
“You’ll cum, just not right now.” You pant as you slam back down on his lap, the head of his cock ramming right into the spot that makes your knees weak. You cum instantly around him, but Ethan keeps his orgasm contained. “Good boy,” You praise as you stand up, seeing his hard cock coated in your arousal. You press a hot kiss to his lips before you reach behind his back, handcuff key in hand. As soon as his hands are released, Ethan knows he has the green light.
His hands reach for anything they can, your breasts, your thighs, your ass, anything. His lips press sloppily against yours as his hands settle for your thighs, hitching one on his hip as he slams you against the wall. His movements are frantic, and you know you might have edged him too much. The look in his eyes was practically feral as he pulled away from you, his fingers sliding in between your lips. Your head thumps back against the wall as Ethan slides 2 fingers inside you, thrusting hard. “God Ethan!” You cry out, your back arching your chest against him. He’s panting as he watches you hurdle towards your release, his other hand reaching down to pinch at your clit.
His pupils are blown wide open as he watches you with hungry eyes, his hands bringing you to release but just as you’re about to cum he pulls away. You open your mouth to protest, but then you remember the countless times you’ve edged him tonight, you’ve edged him so much you think it’s made him a little crazy. You barely have enough time to think when Ethan is yanking you over towards the bed and bending you over it. He parts your thighs a little further before driving his cock into you, his pace desperate and frantic as he slams into you.
You feel every inch of his cock as it slams into you again and again, leaving you a writhing mess against the bed. You hold on for dear life, your fists curled into the sheets as you moan incoherent words of pleasure as it builds higher and higher. “You fuck me so good Ethan fuck-” You feel your orgasm creeping up on you and you have no time to warn Ethan before it washes over you. You expect Ethan to stop, or at least slow down. He doesn’t. He continues to slam into you through your orgasm, and his hand reaches around to rub at your clit, sending you flying towards another orgasm before you can even catch your breath.
Soon enough you’re squeezing him with a vice grip as you cum again and you feel his hips still as he slams into you, cumming with a desperate whine inside you. One of Ethan’s hands are resting against your hip, and the other is holding him up on the mattress. The two of you catch your breath as you feel both his cum slowly sliding out of you, and his softening cock. “I love you.” You gasp with a laugh, and you see Ethan crack a tired smile as he slowly pulls out of you to collapse into bed next to you.
“I love you too.” He says with a hum, pulling you over to lay against his bare chest. You feel him pull the blankets over you and you catch his wrist when you spot the black and purple bruises forming from the handcuffs. Ethan sees your guilty expression and quickly ducks his head to press his lips against yours. “They don’t even hurt.” He reassures you, you nod slowly.
“How are you going to cover them up, you’re meeting up with Mark tomorrow aren’t you?”
“God damnit.”
alrighty season 3 ep 2 thoughts. this post got ridiculously long so the rest is under a read more:
- literally i love every single time we see akito sleeping in this long and empty room. there’s something very encompassing about how empty it is + how the angle emphasizes it, especially when we can clearly see she’s sharing her bed
Tumblr media
- shigure and tohru’s moments alone are always soo so sweet. their relationship so far is very much one where there’s a lot of affection between them (which ofc makes one of their biggest scenes together during the final act feel especially hurtful even though it’s a side of shigure we’re well aware of by that point -- it’s just something that tohru up until that point hadn’t witnessed, much less been directly confronted with. but i’m getting ahead of myself lmfao moving on)
- actually related to the above love tohru asking “wouldn’t i just be interrogating him?” and “the things kureno told me make me feel like i’m looking into a deep, dark well” just ahh i do love this background progression of shigure and tohru’s relationship and how it reaches a head when they have their talk about kyo later.
- this is perhaps unintentional but: having this shot of machi noticing yuki + clearly having some new feelings about him overlaid with/directly followed by momiji and tohru, where we still know momiji has an unrequited crush on her. yes it makes me laugh a little but it’s also fitting because at this moment in time yuki does not have a crush on machi in return + sees her only as a friend.
- it’s been mentioned but it bears repeating. why are they not progressing momiji’s height whatsoever lmaooo. funny because yuki and kyo have had gradual changes but they’re really just trying to make this growth spurt reveal super jarring huh. also holy shit he looks TINY next to haru in this shot. next
- the one kid in class asking hana to fuck the priyuki girls up but she’s like “actually i really don’t care” LMAO........ love her
- ugh i really love this moment with yuki.......... i think it’s been a while since we’ve seen the general student population (not just the prince yuki girls) still treat him in a revering way, now also in part because he’s the student council president but definitely still because of his reputation as the prince. this was something that was so deeply ostracizing to him early on in the series, and does still remind him of his loneliness -- but that loneliness isn’t crippling to him anymore, because now he does have friends who like him and who he can have fun with.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i’m going to write a bigger post on this later probably because this is a really important progression point in how yuki understands himself to exist in his school’s ecosystem + how his self-esteem is still developing.
- additionally i just want to say that this scene isn’t yuki suddenly falling for machi, or really something to be read as mutually romantic between them -- machi i think absolutely has a crush on him at this point (because he is. the only person who is actually nice to her and considers her existence aside from kakeru but moving on) but yuki’s perception of her at this moment is heavily tied to how he thinks of himself as a friend + whether he’s a worthy enough person to befriend. the fact that machi shatters those doubts for him in such an overt way is important.
- anyways machi is rly cute here i loooove that she’s comfortable being more expressive around him even though it’s mostly out of embarrassment LMAO...... she’s learning how to display her feelings and trusts him with that..... cute.
- also of note yuki putting his hand on the top of her head which is like... he’s trying to convey that he feels they have (or are starting to have) a trusting friendship with each other but it’s like. a bit too much for machi to handle omfg. honestly this goes in hand with way back when ayame patted yuki’s head in praise which was clearly something yuki didn’t receive much of as a kid, and i’m assuming machi also rarely if ever received that same sort of praise. what i’m saying is they’re both trying lmaoo
- also as usual shimazaki’s deliveries are spot on yuki is soooo fucking cute in this scene. “what? seriously? they’re even worse than the ones i made” he’s so casual and funny with her it’s so good
- okay the timeskip to sunset makes me laugh it makes it seem like tohru and kyo have just been waiting in that room alone for hourssss
- ugh how sexy would it have been if the brief flashback to kureno + the music overlay had been cut out here. like tohru seeing the birds and then turning to ask kyo what he would think if someone’s curse had been broken would have gotten the message across just as well + i think would have been more emotionally impactful.
- tohru’s expression here though is so good just. ugh. will say this point in hers and kyo’s relationship is just so tasty because he really is her most trusted confidant but she’s also so aware of anything that could be construed as him rejecting her or pushing her away, which now that she’s getting especially wrapped up in the family’s secrets...... it’s a thin line she’s walking w wanting to protect him but not wanting to push him away bc he’s resigned to what will happen
Tumblr media
- this visual is so weeeeeird aoghjksd the screen being framed by her bangs. what. why
Tumblr media
- hmmmm in general idk if the flower scene hit very well. it felt kind of awkward? kyo and tohru both seemed really stiff which is weird because literally just a minute ago they were animated pretty well tbh
- this post is already so long and i only JUST started the akigure part of the ep....... i’m so sorry
- machi and kyo both handing off white flowers to yuki and tohru respectively and then we’re hit with shigure giving akito a red flower instead. obviously because akito is symbolized by red camellias + to refer back to her memory of shigure giving one to her, but also just basic color symbolism -- white being more indicative of purity and new beginnings, red being something both passionate, evocative, dangerous.
- oh we’re back to the kids. it is not in fact akigure time yet.
- i loooove this tohru outfit so much she’s so cute in it. also ig it bears mentioning because i didn’t say anything about it last time, but the reboot hinting more directly to the audience that something bad happened to rin, rather than just her disappearing entirely, is def more overt than in the manga. that short scene of ren intercepting rin in the last ep was chronological yes, but in the manga we don’t see that happen until after we know that akito’s been keeping her in the cat’s room. so just by tohru mentioning that she hasn’t seen or heard from rin in a while, we’re clued in that something bad to her must have happened because of ren. which i don’t think is a bad decision honestly -- since ren is set up as the antagonist for this season, it might make viewers assume that ren did something bad to her, only for it to be revealed that it was akito and that akito is still becoming more and more unhinged. but that also ren is unhinged. disasters.
- “i’m sorry, i’m afraid i do have parents” this rly is just the mid-20s mood isn’t it
- mitsuru fucking hissing at shigure i cannot
- nakamura’s acting during this phone scene is so goooood oh my god. the LOATHING. honestly this alone just makes me crazy abt the insanity that is akito + kureno + shigure like jesus christ.
- kureno’s pitiful little “nii-san” after shigure obliterates his entire life. there we go
- honestly it’s funny how shigure’s expression looks when akito yells at him for sleeping with ren because for a moment it looks like he has NO idea what she’s talking about but then. nope. he fucked her mom.
- do like the little detail of akito pointing as she tells shigure to get out, but when he leaves he just turns in the opposite direction. like truly he has never followed orders to the t once in his life.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
- this shot of ren is so fucking absurd oh my god. pls get ur male gaze directing out of here.
- “i... thought you forgot” man the way this is delivered feels really striking. i think because akito is never caught off guard in a way that surprises her in such a quiet way, or in a way that leaves her plainly vulnerable. like her vitriol towards him has to do with the fact that she feels he’s abandoning the bond they used to have (and ofc they bond they have through the curse), and that memory of him does act as a linchpin.
- it’s primo bitchy shigure hours. primo akito meltdown hours.
- this shot is soooo foreboding wow. straight up darkness. tho i kind of wish this shot was used instead for the “i want to crush her to a pulp” line, or at the very least that the shot for that line was just framed differently
Tumblr media
- god they’re so fucking awful for each other. purely just a disaster duo. shigure taking control of the conversation + dismissing akito’s meltdown and emotional manipulation leaves akito feeling the only way she can have control over him is through seducing him since no other method works. the convo that has with her accusing him of sleeping with a lot of other women + her not knowing how to handle the fact that he slept with ren, and ofc the convo it has with her misogyny and how she views herself. they have this really vitriolic push and pull for control because akito doesn’t know what to do when she loses any control at all, and shigure’s grasping at what little control he can have considering how their power dynamics work with the bond -- walking away when she’s being manipulative, refusing to coddle her. like shigure’s wish for them to be on an equal playing field without the curse is a pipe dream because their relationship is just so, so damaged as is and is so heavily informed by what has already happened between them. takaya why did you have them end up together for realsies why did you--
- what is with the reboot team making akito break down the walls and doors all the time lmfao. bro the structural damage caused by this little 90lb disaster.
- i think i understand why they took it out (like maybe it would have been too overt with how they’ve set up the audience to expect something bad happened to rin after running into ren) but man they really just didn’t adapt one of the most haunting parts of the series huh. like this shot of rin being trapped inside the cat’s room right beside shigure thinking “i’ll be waiting for you” maaaan man!!
Tumblr media
- okay addendum: apparently she is in the room. in hindsight i did notice this but it did not register as a person because i thought it was just a glare on the window 😭
Honest Hearts: A Rough Rewrite
Hey! I’ve been working on an Honest Hearts rewrite-type-thing for a bit and figured I’d solicit feedback/assemble a post to store some of these ideas.
A detailed explanation of the premise is under the cut, but I’ve made this as a more interesting reintroduction to major locations, along with the characters who live there. I also have some lore consisting of letters, scripture, and holotapes that’s still in the early stages, along with a complete companion wheel for Salt-Upon-Wounds (he’ll follow you around for a little if you decide to help him out). Endings are now finished as well. I’m not planning on expanding this into a full mod, but I’m assembling everything in Twine so I can utilize branching dialogue and mimic skill checks.
I want to keep adding to and editing this because I’m having fun with it, so if you have any input, let me know!
Essentially, the story proceeds as written up until the point where Daniel sends you to either kill the White Legs or destroy their war totems. You quickly realize that their camp is deserted, at which point Salt-Upon-Wounds ambushes you, convo-locks you, and tells you that there’s an entirely different side to things here that you might not have considered.
Factions
The Mormons have established a theocracy in the Utah called Deseret, with New Jerusalem - what was once Salt Lake City - as its capital. Large numbers of them survived the initial apocalypse due to their pre-War focus on strong community ties and disaster prepping; over time, they have returned to the model of self-sufficient agrarianism that characterized the historical Mormon state of Deseret that existed in Utah in the 1800s. Their President, who wields supreme executive power, is also their Prophet. The Mormons believe he communes directly with God, but there’s some discontent in New Jerusalem over his hands-off approach to foreign policy and unwillingness to assemble a standing army. The Elders of the Priesthood are pushing him to allow for some kind of formal military to oppose what they see as revived versions of their ancestral enemies: America, Rome, and the “Lamanites” (this is what Mormons call Indigenous Americans; the “Lamanite” idea has historically been used as a justification for racism, and I’m reflecting that here because it’d be kind of heinous not to). In more than a few respects, Deseret serves as a mirror to the Legion and an exploration of the other side of the coin re: the tactics utilized by colonial empires to present themselves as legitimate while still claiming territory and steamrolling the opposition.
The White Legs are now more explicitly Shoshone, and I’m relying most heavily on the Timpanagos Band for names and historical inspiration (apparently the question of whether they’re Ute or Shoshone is pretty controversial, but I’m sticking with what the Timpanagos have said about it until someone corrects me). After migrating south in the wake of the Great War, the White Legs eventually settled in Ogden, about a day north of New Jerusalem. Initial interactions with the Mormons were friendly, but as New Jerusalem grew and its need for farmland and resources increased, tensions rose before culminating in open violence in around ‘76 or ‘77. Deseret’s party line is that the White Legs conducted a “raid” on one of their settlements and had to be driven away from Ogden; the White Legs claim the violence was not a raid, but a revenge killing after a Mormon killed a young man and was found not guilty by Mormon legal authorities (this is a theocracy, so “legal authorities” here can be understood as indistinct from “the church”). The Mormons established a new settlement on the ruins of Ogden, which they called New Canaan, and the White Legs fled to Salt Lake, where they have been dwindling in number ever since. Salt-Upon-Wounds’ plan to seek entry to the Legion is a last-ditch attempt to save his people from eradication when their neighbors and the land itself seems intent on killing them (not that that makes all the war crimes ok, which is a sentiment you’ll be able to express to his face if you engage him in conversation).
The Dead Horses are a pastoral society from out of Dead Horse Point, and are split almost down the middle along political lines. The more conservative, religious side opposes intervention in Zion. Graham desecrates the corpses of his enemies as an intimidation tactic, and because the Dead Horses’ religion is so eschatological and heavily focused on properly cleaning, preparing, and interring the dead, a big chunk of the religious leadership opposes him on that basis - they think his tactics are ungodly. They’re also worried that any Dead Horses who die in Zion and are interred there will be severed from their connection to Dead Horse Point and doomed to a separate, lonely afterlife. The younger, more progressive elements of the tribe are less traditionalist, sometimes less religious, and overall not as concerned about Graham’s treatment of the dead because of the potential benefit they might be able to derive from him. Follows-Chalk is their de facto leader, and while the Dead Horses don’t formally allocate political power, he’s among the most influential people in the informal tribal leadership. Most of the Dead Horses who’ve come to Zion have done so either because they support Follows-Chalk politically, or for practical reasons - namely, Graham’s access to a dizzying number of guns and his willingness to give them to anyone who’ll fight for him.
The Sorrows are now a terrace-farming agrarian society instead of hunter-gatherers (Zion has a lot of agricultural potential, and there’s already a few farming plots in the Sorrows camp you see in-game, so it’s not a huge departure from the canon). I’m keeping their Mexican heritage, but I’d like to give them some Ainu influences as well - partially for selfish reasons, but also because bears are extremely important to our culture and theology, which gels well with the elements of Sorrows culture and religion that appear in the canon. I’d like to keep the Survivalist because I like him, but I want to expand on their faith. One of the ways I’m doing that is by deciding they can still read English, even though they no longer speak it; it’s basically their equivalent of liturgical Latin. They’re also rigidly matriarchal and in contrast to the Dead Horses (who eschew formal political hierarchies) or the White Legs (who elect a chief who serves until he dies, is deposed, or voluntarily abdicates), leadership positions are allocated through matrilineal primogeniture; Waking Cloud inherited her position from her mother. Religious leadership, likewise, is only available to women. You’ll be able to talk to Waking Cloud about some of the ways this framework is incompatible with the Mormon perspective, and can appeal to her desire to retain power.
Characters
Canon Characters
Joshua Graham and Daniel are largely unaltered except through the addition of lore that gives insight into their cultures, motives, and pasts.
All three tribal leaders (Follows-Chalk, Waking Cloud, and Salt-Upon-Wounds) are either given new backstories, a different set of motives, or different approaches to one another/Graham and Daniel. They’re also explicitly leaders now - what power Graham and Daniel have, they derive from whichever tribal leader they’ve managed to attach themselves to. Of those three, I’m altering Waking Cloud the least and Salt-Upon-Wounds the most. Like I mentioned, I have a companion wheel for him so far and the bones of two other conversations - one, where you meet him for the first time, and the second, where you speak to him before the final battle. Will link as I finish them.
Original Characters
Each tribal leader now has a rival or right hand within their tribe so I can reflect the different ways the values of a specific community can express themselves.
Follows-Chalk’s primary rival among the Dead Horses is a man who refuses to tell you his name. That’s because using someone’s name in casual conversation is considered unspeakably rude, and the fact that Follows-Chalk is willing to share his own with you is, to Mysteriously Named Old Man Character, yet another sign of how disrespectful and laissez-faire Follows-Chalk is about their shared traditions. Old Man Character is suspicious of you initially, but if you speak to him more he starts to warm to you. The goal is to give you a sense that this he’s pretty xenophobic but for good reasons, and despite his political conflicts with Follows-Chalk, has a lot of love for him. He just wants what’s best for his family, and Follows-Chalk is part of that, even if Mysteriously Named Old Man Character thinks he’s making the wrong choices.
Kiiki is Salt-Upon-Wounds’ right-hand woman and intended as a contrast re: the approach to war and its costs. Salt-Upon-Wounds has done some horrible things and gets a fair bit of dialogue about that, but Kiiki is willing to go even further than he has with very little prompting. Her chief copes with what he’s done by trying to assure himself that the ends of war are worth the cost; Kiiki deals with it by trying to convince herself that the means weren't so bad, actually, and that anyone who isn’t nailing corpses to walls is being naive. All of that makes her sound pretty shitty, but she’s nowhere near as devoted to the idea of a Legion alliance as Salt-Upon-Wounds is. It only takes one very low Speech check to convince her that going Legion is a bad move, and one of the paths involves assassinating Salt-Upon-Wounds and installing her as the new leader as a way to stop the White Legs from joining Caesar. I haven’t added this path to the ending Twine because I’d like to finish Kiiki’s dialogues before I do that.
I’m replacing White Bird as the Sorrow’s spiritual leader with a woman named Imekanu. She’s incredibly old, savvy, and knowledgeable - she’s never been outside Zion, but has a store of books in English, Spanish, and Japanese that have allowed her some insight into what caused the war, if not the current state of the world. She’s also aware of the Survivalist’s origins - not because she’s entered any of his hideouts, but because she’s read over the scriptures and has correctly identified them as letters. Her perspective is that the Father in the Caves was a human being, but that doesn’t diminish his religious value. She sees him as analogous to the Buddha or a Catholic saint: human, sure, but still with access to some deeper truths about the purpose of man and the nature of human goodness. You’ll discover that this idea (that the Survivalist was a holy man rather than a literal god) is the most common perspective among the Sorrows, and you can talk to her about how this departs from Daniel’s perspective that the archetypal Father is divine, not human.
Quests
Each tribe has a specific quest that will either lower or bypass some of the penultimate checks that will determine your ending (people are more likely to believe what you’re telling them if you’ve already won their trust).
The Dead Horses: Joshua Graham has been putting the heads of the fallen up on pikes across Zion. The Dead Horses’ religion is deeply concerned with proper treatment of the deceased, and Graham’s decision to desecrate the corpses of his enemies goes against virtually everything they believe. The old man who won’t tell you his name asks you to take the heads off of the pikes and bury them deep in Zion, and to bring Follows-Chalk with you so you’ll have someone to tell you how to treat them properly. Over the course of the quest, Follows-Chalk will share some of his own beliefs about death, and you’ll have the opportunity to share your own. If you complete this quest without sabotaging it, Follows-Chalk will be willing to betray Graham to the White Legs before the final battle.
The Sorrows: This is basically just Ghost of She, but after defeating the Yao Guai you’ll discover a holotape revealing that the girl wasn’t killed by the bear, but by one of the murderers from Vault 22. Waking Cloud will speculate that maybe the Yao Guai wasn’t the ghost of the little girl at all but some other force that wanted to push you to discover the truth. If you wait until the end to tell Waking Cloud about the death of her husband, you’ll have to pass a Speech check of 75 to convince her you’re telling her the truth; completing this quest drops the check to 50.
The White Legs: Salt-Upon-Wounds will ask you to help him sabotage the Mormons’ preparations for the battle. If you help him with this, it’ll drop the Speech check for you to convince him to leave from 100 to 80. It’s not necessary at all to get the tribal confederacy ending, but a new note will appear in your inventory if you finish it and meet a couple other requirements (asking him certain questions, not attempting that one Speech check about religion, etc).
Endings
I’m trying to incorporate as much variety as possible, but there are three main ending paths: siding with the White Legs, siding with the other two tribes, and peace. The basic idea is that the outcome is predicated less on your direct intervention, and more on how other people act based on the facts they have available to them. Most of your influence is through your choices to hide or reveal key pieces of information, and the skill checks you need to access certain endings are less you convincing a character to do something and more convincing a character to believe you’re telling them the truth. There’s one major exception to this, it requires maxed Speech, and the ending it gives you is markedly bittersweet because you’re trying to get a guy to act against his own best interest. I’m writing all the endings up here, and will probably edit them as things change. The post where I explain them in more depth can be found here.
And that’s the story so far! Thank you for reading, and again: if there’s anything here you think is poorly-conceived, let me know. Thank you to @baelpenrose, who’s a grad student in the history of the American West, for helping me workshop a lot of this stuff. If you’ve got expert knowledge on any of the concepts I touch on or are personally a member of any of the groups I’m describing, please feel free to hmu: anon is on, and you’re always welcome to DM me. I’m just doing this for fun, but I still want it to be as not-shit as possible.
“How’s everything doyoung?” taeyong’s deep voice echoed through the spacious basement.
“I have double checked, just in case. CCTV’s are handled, there would be no interference, like always, but -”
“But!” taeyong raised his brow at doyoung.
“You can’t deny that yuta is best with knives so why not just let him join as well?” he verbalized his opinion. Despite only doyoung speaking, it was beyond doubt that every single men in the room agreed with him. Yuta paired well with his knives and pistols, proving to be an asset for the already well packed, trained squad.
“It sounds more like you chickening out than your concern for the assignment do!” taeyong replied, giving doyoung a smug smile. Doyoug would rather fix affairs outside the business than being involved directly but taeyong loved teasing him for choosing the more sheltered option.
“When have I ever done that!” doyoung’s high pitched voice earned him few laughs from the room. “But you know-
“I’m not going to fall for your sweet tongue. Save it for others!” doyoung sighed loudly, focusing again on his holster.
“I CAN’T FIND THE SUPPLEMENTARIES” mark shouted from other side of the room addressing no one in particular. Taeil grimaced at his voice, running to join him near the cabinets he was rummaging through since forever.
“What are you missing? And don’t shout next time!”
“Aah sorry hyung. I want some magazines. Last time I fell short of them.”
Taeil nodded briefly and went on helping him in finding bullets for his personalized gun.
Everyone was getting ready for some action at the centre of gangnam. Some protection fee disagreements had led to a clash with some other faction, needing immediate action. A strike at the centre of well-protected city was never easy but that was the reason that mafia in seoul was mostly underground and well hidden. People knew what was taking place in their surroundings but no one was aware of the sources from which it materialized.
“Am I not invited?” all the heads turned towards the rather small metal door. Yuta was standing on the stairs, his body leaning forwards, supported by his hand on the upper frame of door.
“No. you are not.” taeyong said while moving his head playfully, flinging a knife back and forth to show yuta what he was missing. thrill
“Oh come on, you guys can’t go without me. They are called dagger’s troop for a reason.” he descended the stairs, making a dramatic slow entry to the room. “And to handle them, you need me. The dagger king himself!” his exaggerated hand gestures were now irritating taeyong.
“It’s a no again. And besides we have our switchblade prince so we’ll hardly need you.”
“Ten has never handled them before and you need someone experienced to wrap up quickly. He is short-
“Short and skilled who taught you to use knives in the first place, yuta. Don’t make baseless arguments. If you want to do something, then go, sit with the techies. Maybe you’ll learn some tech from min or hyuck or you can join renjun and xiaojun in the med facility. Absorb their energy and acquire some patience! You need it more than they do actually”. Everyone was now focusing on their heated convo.
“Taeyong, I agreed to your proposal that is clearly not in any way beneficial to me, so now, you have to restore me here. I’m needed and you know that!”
“You are needed indeed. But that doesn’t mean we can’t do it without you. You are useful until you are not dangerous. This is underground yuta. An apology won’t make up for something that you’d lose forever and you understand what I’m saying. So please move out.” taeyong’s stern voice echoed in the room again. Yuta wanted to argue back but the words got stuck in his throat. His hands went through his already messy hair whilst he eyed a chair with infuriation.
Glancing one last time at taeyong with his hooded eyes, he hit the chair with extreme force, leaving the room immediately. Ascending the stairs he felt too many emotions at the moment. He has never felt like an inconvenience to his own people before, his most slips ups just going unnoticed by everyone. Others, rather than being seen as a trouble appreciated the expertise he acquired here. Until specific someone decided to barge in!
Wednesday
“We should eat here more often, I’m so glad the café was full!” yugyeom and yeong nodded their heads in agreement. The three of you were sitting in the garden next to the cafeteria, eating your sandwiches. The sky was filled with grey clouds, the cool breeze brushing your skin and shirts flowing in the wind’s direction. The weather was happy and so were you all.
“Give that scarf a break y/n. it’s been two days. This combination is an eye sore!” yeong told you off earning an eye roll from you.
“It’s the 3rd day!” gyeom corrected her.
“Yaaah! Who bought you the sandwich!” you huffed at him. As you expected, yeong pinched her nose, showing how disappointed she was in you.
“Y/n. you need to start the exercise again.”
“Noooo” you whined at her, wriggling your whole body. you’d rather choose staying in the dorms than doing her fashion exercises!
“Before leaving the room in the morning, you will send me a picture of your outfit. I don’t want to do this like last time so please don’t argue. Thank you and now please remove this fashion blunder” she said everything in a honey dripping voice, reminding you of the last time when you disobeyed her same order.
Yugyeom chuckled with the sandwich still in his mouth before responding to her demand. “Leave it yeongie. The scarf is hiding her sinful deeds. I’d prefer you see her with it, not otherwise. Maybe wonwoo gave a standing ovation worthy performance this t—-aahhh! Don’t hit me doofus.” But you kept attacking him with your bag, yeong was watching you both with a dissatisfied look but it was nothing she wasn’t used to already. He tried to dodge your actions but you were tougher especially with the weapon in your hand. He was sprawled on the ground now, laughs turned into recurrent coughs. “Sorry y/n. y/n
“y/n” you both looked at each other when you heard a third voice calling your name.
You straightened yourself, visage turning jovial, neck craning to face the visitor.
Your relaxed posture stiffened at the sight of the said caller.
Yuta.
Yuta was standing there, beaming towards you. He waved at you, which you couldn’t return because of the initial shock you were in. what was he doing here. Yugyeom and yeong were also staring at the stranger.
Yuta extended his hand for you to lift you up from the ground, but you didn’t move an inch. He inclined his head a bit, questioning you silently. You took his hand to rise up. Your friends were now curiously watching the awkward exchange.
Yuta gave others a toothy smile, waving energetically at them as if they were long lost friends he just found today. And he did indeed looked like one of you. with black polo tucked in his washed jeans, blond hair down and earnings adorning his earlobes, he looked like a normal extrovert student , who could turn people into friendly puppies just with a flash of smile.
“Can I borrow y/n for a minute? I won’t take long , I promise” he blinked his eyes at them , assuring your friends that he wasn’t abducting you , which was, you guess, his first instinct, assuring people of his virtuous intentions . He took your hand and started dragging you towards the concrete path. As soon as you were out of other’s eyes, he jerked your hand away making you groan loudly.
“Why are you so rash? Don’t you have sense? What the hell are you doing here and how the fuck did you find me in this goddamnit big campus!” you growled at him.
“Stop bitching at me! I’m not Johnny or taeyong, watch you fucking tongue in front of me!” yuta fiery eyes bored into yours. The previous cheerful expression already changed into one of frustration.
“Then don’t treat me like one yuta. Simple as that! You might not be used to this, but I am not a servile flatterer.” you retorted, mirroring his aggression.
You crossed your arms against your chest, titling your head to reciprocate his look. “Now say why you are here cause unlike you, I have work to do!”
Yuta scoffed at your words, his hand graciously fixing his now messed up hair. You took this time to give him a once over. He was distracted by the wind, and you by his face. At first blush, he looked devastatingly fuckable but your self-esteem was of far more importance right now. You hated men who had no regard for women and at this point, yuta’s behaviour was fulfilling all the essentials.
“What did u mean that day when you said you’d be leaving,” he was still giving you the same stern look but his voice came surprisingly calm “what is there between you and taeyong that I’m missing?”
His question confused you. You were sure that the conversation between you and taeyong was not so classified. So maybe yuta was there just to bother you.
“See! I’m not at all obliged to answer you. So you better ask your boss. And never show up here again, unless you are called, which would obviously never happen!”
“Just answer me! I’m not here for your bloody lecture!” he tiredly blurted at you. But you were adamant so you just turned away from him.
You were about to successfully dodge him when he caught your forearm and in a flash, pulled you against himself. You were now eyeing his chest, which was soon replaced with his face. He had leaned down to face you, his eyes scanning your now alarmed expression. His eyes lowered to your chest which was stuck due to the breath you had sucked in.
“Breathe baby. I come in peace. No need to be afraid.” he said softly and you’d have believed him, if you were blind to his capabilities. You struggled to step away from him but his grip was tightening enough to bruise your arm. He found your little effort very amusing.
“At least you are entertaining hmm.” he jerked away your arm again, this time you let out an audible yelp. “I just came to check your status, nothing else” he said looking particularly nowhere.
“my what?” You asked him, rubbing your arm to soothe the stinging sensation. You were also perplexed at how he simply forgot about the previous topic.
He feigned hurt, rubbing over his chest “don’t be so hostile. I wanted to know about your status with your friends. The one you were hitting so cutely! He’s one of your friends who know everything about you right.”
“You don’t need to be so friendly. Bear with my hostile attitude coz that’s what you’ll be getting from now on.”
“At least you are acknowledging this union.” his mocking tone was nauseating you. “So when are you going to introduce me or do I have to take the initiative!”
“Stay away yuta. I’m not your laughing stock.”
“Okay, so you are not going to do it!” he gave you a once over mid-sentence. “Fine. I’ll do it by myself.” he started walking down the path to the garden your friends were sitting in. but before you could stop him, you saw both of them coming your way. You hurriedly ran over to them, passing yuta. He was seriously enjoying your distress.
“Shorty, your bag.” gyeom handed you your bag. “We have to go to class .your sandwich is in the bigger one. eat it before going to library and we are going to 67th street again. Meet you there tonight”
“No I’ll pass”
“And who is that hunk? Your secret boyfriend?” yeong questioned wiggling her brows. Before yuta could take charge of the situation, you spoke to fit it to your own mould.
“n-no. He-he’s a junior’s older brother. Just here to talk about his poor situation.”
“Okay. But he’s so your type. You can try something you know” she whispered, your eyes widening in pure horror.
“He can hear us yeong!!!” but she took a back step before you could say anything else.
“Ok bye bye. see you later. And don’t wear that scarf again or I’ll increase the time period of exercise.” she shouted. You showed a middle finger to her which was returned with a flying kiss.
“The scarf! I totally missed it!”  you rolled your eyes before facing his smirking self, his breath fanning your neck hair, his face being too close for your liking.
“You look quite fond of hickies. Just let these one disappear then I can decorate you myself.” he whispered, voice meant only for you to hear.
“Meet you on Saturday, babes. I think I’ll lose my sleep if I admired you anymore!” he whirled around leaving your fuming form behind. it was as if he was fond of having his last say in every conversation.
“These hickies would only disappear in your fucking dreams boy!” you murmured, glaring at his back.
The true intentions of his sudden appearance were masked by his fake excitement but that had struck a chord in you. You couldn’t avoid it for too long. Sooner or later, it had to be done.
starting with your roommate.
******************************
Your vision was almost blurry for the time you spent staring at your door, takeout from her favourite restaurant dangling from your arm. Chelin was inside waiting for you. She was busy these days like any other student but you always had some tricks up your sleeve to get her to agree. Today it was her favourite authentic Chinese dumplings. You shifted from one foot to another to calm your nerves, like it was going to make any difference. You had to tell chelin and this laborious task was to be accomplished today. Now or never, you decided finally, knocking on the door.
The door opened almost instantly.
“Why do you make me walk when you have the key!” she said, pretending to be irritated at you.
You stuck your tongue at her whilst shoving the food bag in her face. Sniffing the bag, her eyes widened, sparkle adoring her black orbs and lower lip trembling to form the most stupid fake emotional look she could muster. You lifted yourself up to flick her frowned forehead playfully. Both of you broke into laughter, the room turning lively.
“What is it this time?” chelin asked you curiously, making her way to the small corner you both called kitchen. You removed your bag and shoes meanwhile.
“I just wanted to spend some time with you and talk, you know. It’s been days since we have seen each other properly.” you replied gently. Chelin was 4 years younger than you in age but only 2 years behind in classes. Her intelligence was hard to be matched. That’s why even being younger than her classmates, she was the smartest. A deadly combo of beauty with brains.
“ohh.” she returned .you reached out for the food boxes and moved to let her sit on your bed. “Now tell me what it is. This restaurant doesn’t deliver inside uni and you have to wait 45 minutes for their delivery and unless you want something-
She trailed off, wiggling her brows at you.
You have always been the most amusing subject for her psychology projects, defying everything her books said. You were suprising, yet predictable.
“I’ve got an internship” you blurted out a lie, eyes setting on the food instead of facing her.
“Nothing new in that. You get them all the time without even applying, unlike us. But what happened to your mantra, Chois or nothing!!!” she declared her surprise.
The only way to make your story credible was to avoid her eyes and occupying yourself with dumplings was the best tactic at this point.
“Yes, but I’m not going to do freelance writing anymore. It’s boring and its paid internship and not a servant service so I’ll give it a try.”
“Hmm. good. But you didn’t spend your precious money just to inform me of another shot right! So get on the point.”
You chewed the food in your mouth, before putting an end to her queries.
“Umm. I might be moving out” you said sheepishly to gauge her reaction. The dumpling which she was about to put in her mouth was now messily dipped in the sauce pot.
“You are what?”
“I’m moving out!”
“But why and where?” she straightened her back at the seriousness of your statement, the food long forgotten now.
“It’s not finalized yet” you stated shrugging your shoulders. “I want a place near the northern or eastern court complex. It’s going to be easy if I start already. And chois are also located there.”
“Which company?” while bundling your lies, you had missed this. Nervously, you picked up the chopsticks again trumping up an answer to satisfy her.
“Aah umm moon industries!”
An audible gasp escaped her mouth. She was shocked at first but regained herself in no time.
“Anything is possible if it’s you.” you knew that this would work. you were a graduate so job offers were not anything suspicious.
“you can finally have your peace.” you made an effort to lighten up a bit but chelin went quite for a moment.
“So you are leaving me. Just like that.” her voice came out as a mere whisper. You looked up to find her glossy eyes, a heaviness in her voice. You didn’t expect her to be such responsive!
“You know I hate sleeping alone.”
“don’t do this chel-
“And who would buy me ice-cream when I breakup with jay again. An- and who will remind me to change my toothbrush. My hangover pills. And moreover how are you going to make your food. Your only source of homemade food is me. You are still scared of the beeping of the bloody oven. You always eat cold takeout’s when I’m not here!” as she ranted, you felt your own legs trembling at her voice.
“Take me with you” she said abruptly making you shook your head at her. You knew she won’t be easy but you hadn’t anticipated this at all. You had to lie again, for her own sake.
“it’s not feasible chelin. I’m gonna be an hour away. but my job demands that’s why I’ll have to move out. you can’t afford living outside of campus right now. don’t make this harder, please.”
And you saw visible stream of tears leaving her eyes. You wanted nothing more than to hug her tightly and cry out your own sorrows but you couldn’t. You were not allowed to express your feelings just yet.
“Why can’t you just stay? I don’t want to live without you!”
“It’s just a year more anyway.” you tried to justify your departure.
“A full year! And that’s different. I’ll also be leaving next year but now it’s just you!”
“Move in with jay, chelin.” you suggested. “He always nags at you for refusing him. It’ll make him happy and maybe your intermittent breakups would stop as well!”
“I don’t want to”
“You do want to. It’s me who’s been holding you back till now. You just don’t want to leave my grown up ass alone.”
“No! I’ve been refusing him cause I’ll chose you over that asshole any day.” she said while rubbing her eyes with the palms of her hands. You both were closer than sisters. She even spent some of her vacations in the campus just so you won’t feel like a loner. She was the closest to the family you could have at this point. And no, you were not ready to let her go.
“When are you moving out?” her sniffling was now replaced with soft breathing.
“Maybe next week” you lied again.
“Are you happy?”
“Leaving you? No. I could never be. But it has to be done.”
“I hope your roommate knows how to cook. Otherwise you’ll die from takeouts. And let’s spend the week together. We’ll go shopping for new skirts. You won’t be wearing any trousers this time!” she proposed, trying to smile again.
“We are still in the same uni and you’ll find me here all the time. The internship demands weekend working hours anyway so it’s manageable.” you reasoned as an attempt to satisfy the budding questions in her mind.
“But it won’t be same”
Nothing would be same from now on! you thought.
*********************************
Saturday morning
The dreadful day came sooner than you desired. Sprawled on your bed, you looked around the small room, which has been your residence from the day you left the orphanage and that you still planned on inhabiting until the end of next year if nothing has changed but now it was better to dust it off and move on.
What were you even supposed to call it! Wedding day? Or effective date? You weren’t even sure of it being a contract or an arrangement! Maybe contract to keep your mouth shut! But it also requires a free consent that was hard to find in your current position. A legal agreement binding you with taeyong’s will or an arrangement! Arrangement to make your life easy while being driven away from the one you were somewhat content with!
You could make any assertion to console yourself.
You were alone this morning for chelin has gone to jay’s apartment. You were somewhat glad that she was gone. Moving out in her absence would be good otherwise she won’t let you go out alone with all your stuff and you weren’t ready to explain her anything yet. As per her knowledge, you were leaving next week. your all braincells were spent while satisfying her that packing a week before was just out of convenience and nothing else.
You got up from the bed to shower your worries away. Following a forty minutes of comforting bath, you opened the small closet to choose something from the clothes you were yet to pack. As if on cue, your phone made a very familiar sound.
Ping. The fine tune was now set for a very fine person.
Little shit: I can’t wait to meet you noonaaa! Please wear something white!
White! You gave your closet and packed boxes a once over. There was plenty of white but nothing white! There was a white dress –with cherry blossoms on it. Then there was skirt, with black stripes. The only thing you had in crisp white was 3 pairs of shorts and sneakers.
And you were definitely going to wear those. After all, jaemin did say something white! It’s not daily that you get to have fun with interpretation.
After contemplating for 5 minutes straight, you chose the red bell sleeved round neck crop top to wear with your white high waist denim shorts. from nowhwere were you looking like someone about to get married! But like your everyday chant- who cares!
You were brushing your hair when a sound from the phone distracted you from flattering yourself.
Johnny: are you ready?
As decided earlier, Johnny was going to pick you and your stuff from the dorm. He was more cordial than doyoung, parking the car just near the dorms.
You: yes, I am.
Johnny: good. Let me in.
And you did. But instead of one, there were two of them. You looked curiously at the shorter men who was glancing you up and down.
“He’s ten. And ten this is y/n.” the said guy waved, giving a sweet smile.
“Hi!”
“So how many boxes do you have?” Johnny asked looking around the tiny space.
“7 in total.” you started explaining. “Two boxes of shoes and clothes each. And other one for the accessories and random stuff. One medium sized luggage of my books. I have yet to pack some clothes from the closet and my desk space needs to be cleaned up as well. So I think it’ll take about 30 minutes to do everything.” you finished.
“Only 2 boxes of clothes?” ten asked, a look of judgement all over his face.
“Yup. I’ll take winter clothes afterwards. My roommate is going to keep them so I’ll collect them later and 3 boxes! I’ve yet to fill one.”
“Aah ok. Let’s do it then.” that being said you showed Johnny the side of the little hallway where you had placed your plastic boxes.
“Johnny, please be careful. The boxes are all rented and keeping upside down would ruin the shoe package. Just a li-“ you stopped midway when Johnny started giggling at your distressed tone.
“Don’t worry. Just pack the other stuff.”
You nodded and started with the packing. The closet was clear of your belongings. The only place left was your desk. You crowded your backpack with laptop, chargers and other stationaries that you kept out as an act to cover from chelin.
Johnny and ten made several trips up and down and finally after about forty minutes, you were finally done.
“Shall we go?” ten asked you. You didn’t reply instead choosing to walk outside silently.
**************************
You reached the destination in about 40 minutes. The area had a different ambiance than the city side. It was not secluded but wasn’t crowded either. The house looked more like a closed off architectural 2 storey building, giving a “enter with caution” feels.
You only took your phone with you as you were going to the new place in few hours anyway.
As you entered, déjà vu took over your senses. The couch in the hallway was jam-packed just like the last time. And if it was not enough, you saw few younger boys coming down the stairs from other side of the hallway. And one of them was too hard to miss.
“Noonaaa” jaemin ran down the remaining stairs coming to stand in front of you. He gave you an electric smile, your own lips curving upwards.
“I told you to wear white!? He whined at your choice of clothing.
You visibly rolled your eyes at him. “And this is white! The shorts and shoes are crisp white. What else do you want?” as much as you wanted to be polite but your nature didn’t allow you to take offense.
“Ok ok fine. I only saw red. This’ll also do. You look good.” he stated, eyeing your sleeves.
“Come inside.” he took your hand, swiftly moving you towards the centre of hall. Once he left your hand, you bowed a little in greeting, hoping you won’t have to do that again and again.
Johnny had told you the other day that few of them were older than you including him, yuta and taeyong. So you had to greet them with respect. you were a women with manners!
“No need for formality y/n. just sit down.” taeyong also descended from the same stairs. You sat at the only unoccupied chair in the room whereas taeyong sat on the arm of the bigger sofa.
“You got everything?” you nodded at his question.
“Ok then. Yuta is arriving in few minutes. Until then if you want, you can go explore the house.”
You shook your head at him. You were sure everyone could tell how apprehensive you were being. A roomful of boys was staring at you like hawks. It was confirmed to you by now that you were only girl in this house. You were fiddling with hands, crossing and uncrossing your legs to make yourself more comfortable but your fidgeting only made others awkward as well.
“Stop making her nervous!” Kun’s voice reached your ears before you could see him. It looked like he came from outside. At the lack of seat, he made a beeline for the space you were filling , sitting at the arm of your sofa. Maybe it’s a habit, you thought.
“I knew you were coming, so I made a special meal for you. Jaemin helped a lot though.” at your mere bob as an answer, kun realised that he couldn’t do anything to make you feel any better. the immensity of the setting was far more on your conscious than others.
“noona , this is jisung and chenle, you didn’t meet them right!” you saw two boys whom jaemin was dragging to stand in front of you. they looked quite younger than the other ones. their charming smiles directed at you finally turned your stoic expression to mirror theirs.
your little interaction was interrupted by light footsteps on the marble floor.
“Were you all waiting for me?” yuta’s voice resonated in the silent room. “why couldn’t you complete this mission in my absence taeyong. It’s not like you don’t have substitute!” he sneered at his leader, looking around to find a seat.
jungwoo got up from his seat, motioning yuta to sit.
“I have to be somewhere else, so the sooner we start, the sooner we’ll get it over with!” yuta offered. taeyong nodded at him, directing doyoung to get something from inside.
doyoung went away and came back with a bundle of files. he opened a file and placed it in front of you.
“you can read it first. i completed the registration forms, your bio data is filled. just check for any misinformation. there was no poof of your permanent residential address so jaehyun got exception for you because you are a student. but you both might need to visit district office as they won’t grant exemption from appearance.” doyoung pointed everything and explained it to you.
the papers were legitimate, you bio data including your identity number, parents name , everything was correct. the only astonishing thing was the name of your legal representative. you thought I’d be doyoung but you were wrong.
through counsel,
jeong jaehyun.
your fingers lingered on his name. it was not possible as johnny told you he was just about same age as you. you looked at doyoung with a raised brow.
“jae was chosen by our own company so he started working under taeyong immediately after graduation” doyoung mumbled and you snorted at his statement. obviously , he had it easy!
“where do I have to sign?” you asked in a small voice.
and you scribbled right where he marked.
he passed the papers to yuta.
with a frown on his face, yuta also did the same. throwing the papers in doyoung’s face, he rose up from his seat, turning towards the door.
“wait yuta” taeyong’s voice stopped him in his tracks.
“what do you want now. do I have to kiss her?” his questioned carried a mocking tone, making you straighten your back. you were just as disgusted at the thought as was him. but you were not throwing tantrums like him.
“the rings. you have to make it believable right” taeyong extracted a velvet rectangular box from his pocket, placing it on the table. he signalled you to open it.
you reached out for the purple box. inside it were two platinum bands with a single diamond shining right in the centre. they were beautiful but meaningless.
“your hand yuta. why do I have to tell you everything?” yuta scoffed at him and snatched the box from your hand, pulling your arm in the way.
he took out both bands, tossing the box in taeyong’s lap. he wore the one meant for him, in his left finger and grabbed your hand to put the ring on. you flinched a little at the force but he didn’t seem to give a shit about you felt.
“oh the ring is loose.”he commented at the band being not of your size. you jerked away your hand to remove the ring, instead placing it in your forefinger.
“you are not supposed to have what isn’t yours baby!” he remarked slyly before modelling his way out. his mouth was acidic, that you were sure by now.
“CONGRATULATIONS ON THE WEDDING MRS. NAKAMOTO!”
and yuta’s words kept ringing even when he was gone. mechanically, your hands were balled into fists, anger rising. you were not feeling bitter at his words for didn’t expect anything better from him. but he shouldn’t have attacked your dignity in front of strangers.
only five minutes had passed and you were already encumbered with the weight of the ornament!
Part 2
The Alpha had left for his house soon after, but not without saving his number in her phone and checking the security of her house.
It was just afternoon the next day when she saw her car being parked in her driveway by the Alpha. A tow-truck was parked in the street.
“All good. Tires are new and I checked the whole engine.”, he rumbled handing over her keys.
“Thank you-”, she smiled, only now realizing she did not even know his name.
“Happy.”, he frowned in a way that showed he had just realized the same thing.
“I wanted to make some cake. Do you want some?”, she asked tensely. Overnight Millie had accepted her fate and planned to make the best out of her situation. First thing was to get to know the Alpha more.
“Either lemon or chocolate.”, she added.
“I take what I get.”, he answered with a smile tucking at his lips. His animal was pleased his chosen Mate wanted to care for him.
“Thank you for bringing my car over. I could have come and got it myself.”
“Had to do a test-ride either way. I will come over after work.”, he shrugged and waved goodbye.
In the end, she decided to make a chocolate cake, one of her favorites, and couldn´t resist eating a piece when it was still warm.
For dinner, she would eat leftovers from the day prior and Millie was just finished when the sound of an approaching motorcycle reached her ears.
“Here. I made a chocolate-cake. This is your half. I hope you like it.”, she smiled upon opening the door, “Do you want to come in?”
“No. Have to go back to the clubhouse. Thanks for the cake.”, and with that, he was gone again with the cake secured in one of his saddle-bags.
-.-.-..-.-.-.-.-.-.-..-.--..-
The night was quiet and as much as she felt refreshed, that much she felt alone. She had awoken alone.
During the day, she caught herself checking if the Alpha had returned to his house. But he would not return for another four days.
And with every passing day, she felt more and more restless.
On the fourth day, she could not think straight. Three times she had to restart the commission she was working on. During lunch, she nearly cut off her finger trying to cook.
Well, takeout it is. There is no way I will risk losing a digit over food.
Deciding to order a large pizza tonno, some salad, and garlic bread she dialed the Pizzeria and readied the table.
Leftovers would be breakfast for the next day.
Nice food´s here!
Taking the money plus tip out of her wallet, she almost danced to the door.
“Thank you, you can kee-”, she beamed, “-p the rest. ...Happy?”
There in front of her stood the Alpha next door with her order on hand and a pointy look on her face.
“You are back… P-please, come in. How have you been? Other than angry I mean.”
“Told you to call if you need anything.”, he rumbled.
“Yes. My apologies. I did not think that included takeout as well.”, the Omega mumbled immediately looking to the floor, “I won´t do it again.”
A deep sigh left his chest.
“Where do you want the food?”
“Living-room please.”, she whispered making room for him to pass, only to follow at once.
His warm scent spread through her nose, lungs, and veins, clearing her foggy head in just minutes. She felt relieved and a contempt  Purr left her chest.
A purr that did not get unnoticed by the Alpha.
“Missed me?”, he chuckled interested and Millie answered even before he had finished his question.
“Yes!”, she blushed, “I mean. It was strange. Nothing felt right. I could not think straight. Had to restart my commission three times today. Couldn´t sleep well either.”
“Mhm, sounds like with-drawl to me.”
“Maybe. Never had one.”, she mused,” But for now I am hungry. Do you want to stay and join me? I ordered enough for three days or two people.”
“Sure.”
“Then take a seat. We can watch TV if you like. Or talk.”
“TV´s fine.”
“Alright. I have some coke, sprite, or beer.”, she offered from the kitchen.
“Beer.”
“Thought as much. I bought a twelve-pack with different types.”, she explained offering two different bottles for him to chose. A stout and a light. He took the stout.
“Good?”
“Yes.”
“Happy to hear. What do you want to watch?”
“Don´t care.”, he shrugged.
“Me neither. Comedy?”
“Alright.”
And so they ate and watched a movie together.
In the end, Millie had leaned against his side and started to drift off into a slumber.
“You want me to leave?”, the Alpha asked when he noticed her state, even though his animal did not want to do so. Neither did he want the Omega to feel uneasy.
But it was already too late for the question, for she was already too deep in the dream world. He moved her, trying to wake her up, but nothing happened.
-..--..--..--..--..--..--..--..--..--..--..--..--..--.
The next time she awoke her pillow was moving and making a sound.
Must have left the TV on.
“Awake?”
That is not the TV
Sitting up with a start, she almost fell of the coach if it wasn´t for the Alpha´s arm around her back.
“I am sorry.”, she squeaked and he laughed.
“For someone who did not want me to let me go yesterday, you sure can´t get away fast enough today.”
His exclamation got her eyes huge in shock and cheeks red in embarrassment.
“I am so sorry. I hope I did not keep you from something important.”
“Just work.”, he grumbled, “Already took care of it.”
 “I will call them and apologize.”, she spoke already looking for her phone.
“Omega, stop.”, he growled, “I said I already took care of it! So leave it!”
His tone and the unknown situation made her freeze in submission, “I am sorry. How long was I asleep?”
“Sixteen hours.”, he mumbled, “Couldn´t wake you up. Decided to let you sleep. Looked like you needed it.”
“I- I could not sleep well the last nights. Guess you being here helped. Thank you.”
“Is fine. Tonight will be long enough.”, he hummed.
“Oh. Today is Friday, right?”
“Yes.”
“Then I think I will head out to the supermarket. Get some chips, popcorn, some soda and maybe chocolate. I am in the mood for a long movie-night.”
Can´t sleep either way probably.
“What movies?”
“Tolkien-verse or Harry Potter. Don´t know yet. Whatever I am in the mood in tonight for. You can join me later if you want.”
“Can´t we have guests at the clubhouse.”, he almost sighed.
“Alright. Can I go shopping on my own or do you want to join me?”, Millie asked not wanting to go against his will, again.
“I -”, he started but was interrupted by the ringing of his phone,” -Yeah? Not your concern where I am. Took the day off. Listen Tragger… What do you want?- Fine. Be there in two hours. -then tell that Gemma as well. - I don´t care!”, he growled.
“You have to go?”
“Yes, go shopping. Call if anything happens.”, Happy ordered.
“Sure. I can keep you updated. Send you a message when I am at the market, on my way back, and home.”, Millie stated,” Do you need anything ?”
“M´fine.”, he rumbled.
“I can make you something to eat before you need to go. I can only offer you cereal and toast at the moment though.”, she offered, “And I should have some coffee as well.”
 “Thank you.”, the Alpha nodded in approval and she got up from her seat with a warm feeling, while feeling cold at the same time.
“Toast or cereal?”
“Toast´s fine.”
“Peanut-butter, cheese or sausage? Should be able to get some scrambled eggs with bacon ready as well if you like.”, she called out while leaning half into her refrigerator and squealed when he suddenly answered from right behind her.
“Coffee and toast is fine.”, he stated before laughing,” Sorry.”
“F-fine. I just did not hear you moving.”, she breathed with a hammering heart in her chest, “So coffee and toast it is.”
-..--..--.--..--..--..--..--.--..--.
The man of Meyham was not happy about being forced to help prepare the clubhouse for the visiting charter. That was the prospect's and croweaters' job after all. But seeing that he had stored a few of his weapons and ´toys´ in one of the spare rooms, he cleaned that room without any fuss.
“So, where have you been this morning?”, Tragger asked with an amusing smirk,” Does not sound like you calling in work. What were you doing? Or should I ask: Who were you doing?”
“Shut it Tragger! You are too noisy for your good.”
“I say that shy neighbor of yours. The one you went over and beyond to get the car ready.”, he continued, ducking out of the way in case the other Aloha would throw the knife he held in his hands.
“I said shut it!”, Happy growled instead,” And keep it shut!”
“So I am right. You were with your Omega neighbor. Got a bit possessive over her? Hey, not the first Alpha who does. Though you might let the others know. Heard a few of the others talk about that shy Omega whose tires got sliced.
“Mrpf.”
“Just telling ya. Gotta go though… Gemma asked for my help a while back and I want to piss her off as much as I want to piss off you.”
Happy was still thinking about what his brothers had just told him when his phone informed him about an incoming message.
* I am at the Store*, he read and smiled.
* Good. Be careful*, he answered.
* Sure, will do!*
The next message came nearly one and a half hours later: * On my way home now! Got you some more beer*
* Thank you.*
“Got a good message, brother?”, the Scotsman cheered beside him.
“And what if?”
“Ah, I don´t want to get on yer bad side. Ya just seem different since yer rut.”
“m´fine.”
“If you´re sure. I am fine with that. Just checking in.”
“Mrmh. Bobby in charge of the BBQ again?”, he asked instead of answering the Beta.
“Yes, Gemma prepared the meat with Tara´s help. Are you hungry?”, Chibs laughed.
“Yes.”
“Just ask one of the girls to fix ya a sandwich. They missed ya and were pretty broken when Tig returned claiming you were in rut and did not need their help.”
Happy just shrugged hearing that. He could not care less about their hurt feelings. His animal was only interested in one female now and felt disgusted by the thought of eating something a croweater had prepared.
Their scents had turned foul in his nose since his last rut.
“maybe.”, he nodded and left for the kitchen to see if he could find something in the fridge. He was followed by his brother´s eyes who shook his head in amusement.
He knew why his brother acted that way, he had once acted like that as well.
“Mr. Happy. What can I do for you?”, Chucky asked once the former had entered the kitchen.
“Looking for food. Is there any?”
“Yes. There are some bagels left. I will prepare you some.”
“Thanks.”
Happy had just gotten handed the bagel by Chucky, when the last-most important message- arrived on his phone.
*Back home. Just putting away the groceries. And then trying to choose a movie.*
*Let me know what you chose.*
*Why? Want to join me later? But sure. I just hope I can stay awake. *
* maybe*, he chuckled when answering her. Maybe once his brothers are dead-ass drunk, he can leave. But that would mean he had to stay sober as well. At least sober enough to ride.
The evening promised to become fun.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.--.-.-.-.-.
In the end, Millie decided to watch the Tolkien Hexalogy with fresh popcorn, soda, and self-made chocolate-covered fruits.
 She had just finished the second Hobbit-movie and was preparing a huge portion of fries with salad when an uneasy feeling crept up her spine.
That was weird- Why am I feeling like this all of the sudden?
Unbeknownst to her did that have to do with an ego-hurt Alpha spying on her house, deciding if it was safe for him to enter.
No one had dared to deny him before and then that bitch had caused him to be dominated by another alpha. Like he was a weak Beta or even an Omega.
He knew the other Alpha had been around the house a lot, his scent lingered in the air when he had scoped it out earlier, so, smart as he was, he covered his scent with some cheap perfume.
 He wanted revenge for the beat-up he received, though he knew he would not be able to beat the Alpha, he would be able to beat that Omega. Like that, he would get his revenge on both of them.
The Alpha had even brought a jammer to keep her from calling for aid.
.-.-.-.-.-..-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Feeling the uneasiness to grow with every passing second, Millie walked around her house to see if the windows and doors were closed and locked. They were. But the feeling did not leave.
I should call Happy, right? He said to call him if something feels off. Right?
 Taking her phone, she realized immediately there was no service.
Strange! Still have a cable one in the kitchen though. Hope he still picks up though.
He indeed did after a few seconds that felt like minutes, but he did not say a word when he did.
“Happy? It´s me, Millie. I have this strange feeling and now my cell won´t work. You told me to call when something is up- I think. Sorry if I am interrupting your party”, she explained, nervously playing with the phone-cable.
“Stay in the kitchen and keep the doors locked!”, the Alpha finally answered and at once ended the call.
“Okay.”, she breathed her answer nonetheless and did what he had said.
Standing there, she waited for the rumble of a motorcycle to reach her ears, and only five minutes later the sound of several closed in.
