I think about that scene in flwogb where Zuko goes out in a storm to get Sokka the only tea that helps with his knee injury all the time. Specifically when my husband rolls over in the middle of the night and massages my hip in his sleep. Love lives in injuries and those who know them.

Okay, I saw the post about sending you unpopular opinions and I want to ask: what's your least favorite trope in ATLA fics?

ok so I might just get bitten for this but I’m sorry the amnesia/hEAVY angst trope. like yessss I knowww flwogb but darlings, I physically cannot bring myself to read such intense, vomit inducing, eye twitching, nail bitingly vicious angst on purpose. idk maybe I’m just a freak but I read fanfic to make my characters happy and there is a LINE 😭😭

anyway yeah like angst is great but there are only so many dark fics I can take before I’m like: ok are these the same characters or am i just sleep deprived

I just went really deep into my atla tag and…. I’ve had so many good times on here with some really good people. some of them have disappeared off this website without a trace and I’ll probably never speak to them again but I’m so so glad I met them.

It’s been FOUR years since I formally started making atla and more specifically zukka content. FOUR!! from FLWOGB updates, to my Twitterverse AU, to the best atla ship poll on Twitter, to watching people live react to natla, it has been such a lovely ride.

this isn’t a goodbye or anything, I’m just so appreciative of everyone I’ve interacted with on here. Here’s to more writing and drawing and learning about other fandoms through my mutuals and to more atla!!!

I have not! but I PROMISE YOU I know all about it askfhkflb, my dash was insane when the last chapter dropped. I'm just not big on amnesia fics lmao, I keep hearing about how good it is, I want to read it! but it's been sitting in my marked for later for months. maybe years. I stand and salute to "fire lily," "yes sokka?" though

so. i wrote a poem for @oldpotatoe 's zukka fic "feels like we only go backwards" on ao3 because i needed to let out all my feelings i had about the chapter i've read and to everyone wondering if they should read it: please do read it!! its the most beautiful fic i've ever read and i cannot recommend it enough!! here it is:

a memory
