Vote mob in the @autismswagsummit and support this emotionally repressed, academically challenged and terrifyingly powerful autistic 14 yo and his gaggle of overenthusiastic friends today..!!! (Or. Today as in when the voting starts again ig)
[ID: three drawings of Mob from Mob Psycho 100 interacting with one character in each concerning the autism swag summit.
The first one is a comic of him and Ritsu. In the first panel, Ritsu is clutching his phone so tight it's shaking, the screen showing the result of the Donnie vs Kris poll wherein Donnie had won. The background is a purple gradient, and he says "no..." The next panel, the background a darker purple with wavy swirls, shows Ritsu hunched over, hair falling over his shadowed eyes, teeth grit as he continues "no- this can't be...! I won't allow it, no, no-". He gets interrupted with "Ritsu, are you alright-" and the final panel brightens to a pastel peach, Ritsu looking back, distraught, at Mob, yelling "YOU'RE GONNA LOSE AT AUTISM NII-SAN". Mob, who is simply standing there, in his gym shorts and a half tucked in pink shirt, holding a glass of milk, replies "h?"
The second image is one done in red and green tones, of Dimple and Mob. Mob sits at his desk with a tired expression, one hand curled to his temple as he does his homework, Dimple hovering over him with his fists balled, as he says, "Do you want me to go beat that guy up?". Mob replies, "No, Dimple." Dimple continues, "I follow you 24/7 so I know more than anyone how much you should win this." Mob replies, "That's creepy. Just help me with my maths homework, Dimple."
The third is of Reigen and Mob. Mob has a finger raised, his aura coating his hand, as he looks back tiredly at Reigen, who has one hand on his hip and the other on Mob's shoulder, smiling cockily and sweating slightly. The background a simple light yellow, the both of them colored in pastel pinks and illuminated by a teal light that comes from Mob's power. Reigen says, "It's okay, Mob, no matter what, you're still my #1 autism." Though the annotation beneath his words, pointing to him, clarifies, "has no idea what's going on." End ID.]

< It's cold. That's how night works. The beach you are on is not lightless. Like home.
< It was dawn before. When you woke. That's how time works. You did not understand where you were.
< It hurt to stand. That's how exhaustion works. You struggled to get up before beginning to wander further inland, to try and find home.
< The heat blinded and stung. That's how the sun works. You headed forward until you saw houses alongside the water and beach. Almost like home.
< There was movement ahead, people seeing and rushing forward. That's how life and curiosity works. They stopped when they reached you, extending their hands.
< However. The strange ones only had arms to reach to you for, only legs to run to you on.
< You extended out your limbs to them, opened your mouth to ask where you are, why you're on a beach you cannot recognise-
< They freeze. The people stop and draw their hands away, their feet already ready to run.
< They do not recognise you as one similar to their kind, their strange, four-limbed existence, their flightless lives.
< The strange ones panic. They speak static to you, rising to show how they are afraid.
< You continue to reach, to ask, to understand. The closest figure raises their fists.
< You scream and fall back. That is how injury and pain work.
< You.
< Turn. And run.
< You do not stop running. Not for a second. This is how fear works.
< ...
< It's cold. That's how water works. It splashes against you, over you, around you. It's.... comforting.
< ...
< You realise.
< You do not know where you are.
< You do not know how to get home.
< You cannot remember where home is.
< You....
< Cannot remember home.
< You are alone, without name nor family nor memory nor home.
< This is how life will work from now on.

is there any death in the rewrite that you consider to be really graphic? where do you draw the line in the violence of a character's death?
Hmmm... Probably Tigerstar honestly! The cats wrote a song about his organs falling out.
I think when it comes to the "line" of a character's death, it's very subjective. Me and every other kid who read WC pogged out when Tigerstar had a really drawn out, horrific death on-screen, but I'm still haunted by Sootfur with his broken leg, falling down towards a badger while Squilf couldn't save him and seeing the aftermath of his "sightless eyes" when the animal moved off him.
One of those was objectively less graphic, but imo a LOT more harrowing. I think emotions are a lot more important in how deaths are received by an audience than the actual blood and guts, which I think gives you a decent idea of what you're gonna get here.
I think Leopardstar's rock concert is the "ceiling" of how intensely I describe deaths. I think that one's pretty graphic, but it's for a reason. The point is that it's a brutal killing that haunts Mistystar, you get me? And I try to write "around" the gore, describing sounds, the rest of the body, etc.
There is also cosmic/body horror with the Ancestor Rats, and more importantly, BB!Cats do food processing. They skin dead animals and separate the organs and such. When I get around to doing an entry on animal fat, I would also like to show WHERE in the body the fat is stored on certain animals. It's a lot more important to nutrition than you think it is.
BUT whenever I feel like I'm "around" Leopardstar's Boulder Appointment or an Ancestor Rat, I always always tag that. Less "violent" things like the song about the organs (Tiger's In A Heap) and more gentle food processing (like an offhanded mention of removing entrails or skinning) isn't tagged.
If I ever end up including a "diagram" of where fat is stored in the body or "how to properly skin a small rodent" It will be tagged as gore and I'd try to stay tasteful to begin with, I would ABSOLUTELY never drop something like that on anyone untagged and unwarned.

the whole jellie poll incident is such a mess like. nobody on this site knows how to act normal. mcytblr especially included. i don't like the op at all either, i thought the "joke" was cruel and the original apology backhanded but like...yall are dogpiling and harassing people too now. if you don't want people to tell you to kill yourself for liking mcyt, you ALSO cannot be telling people to kill themselves. it is not justified or cute when you do it. like can we ALL just step back and act normal. it really annoys me that our fandom has such a bad reputation but anytime there's an incident like this, all we do is prove we're a mob. i'm not saying everyone should just be fine with being insulted all the time but i think at this point (with the poll) it's a whole conglomeration that should probably just be put to rest. every time that post crosses my dash it has like 2k more notes and it makes me worried that it's containment breaching so badly. just feels like a ticking time bomb to me idk

the pain of having ADHD/autism is wanting to happily indulge in whatever you’re hyperfixating on and like. Tell everyone ever about it. but that Rejection Sensitive Fear™️ says “wtf lol don’t do that what if everyone thinks you’re weird”

Finally got enough energy to talk about Furina's SQ and while I loved her and the troupe, MC and Paimon were .... Not Great. I talked about this with friends but in Paimon's case especially, the way they interact with Furina feels like people who just don't understand trauma and depression and then engage with someone suffering from both in all the wrong ways.
Talking about how much of a downgrade her house is from the opera house, making fun of how she can't cook, pushing her to act when she's set a very clear boundary and then guilt tripping her after she's stuck to her guns, shaming her for not being able to fight well (Paimon literally talks about how second hand embarrassment is overwhelming and I'm just like ?????), telling her she's "not acting like herself" when she attempts to open up and be vulnerable....it's just really rough. That and the MC asking "is something wrong" when Furina gets sad over Poission ..like bro people died and she couldn't save them and she's tearing herself apart over it. Those people are never coming back and you know it and you have the gall to ask her is something wrong??? Of COURSE there is!!
It just feels especially odd because we literally get to see all of Furina's suffering and Paimon in particular is. SO mean? Like she was more understanding with Wanderer and Ei and THEY'VE tried to kill us multiple times!! I don't get it, and honestly I'm very proud of Furina for refusing to waver. Let her rest!! She's tired and depressed and she needs time to heal; and honestly fuck Paimon for trying to make her feel bad. Furina's worked harder than she EVER will.
