Tumblr media
[Spoilers below cut]
OMG IS IT HAPPENING OH SHIT I HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED WATCHING THIS YET!!!
And now here's my live reaction:
Hey, wait a minute, yeah... where is Mr Puzzles staying anyway?
Tumblr media
...uh Mr Puzzles, is this a bad time?
... no... I just... hmmm...
This reminds me so much of the YouTube Arc
Tumblr media
AAAAAA THE FACE IS BACK... ahem sorry just Eye of Ra theory stuff
Tumblr media
[*looks at my murder board and back to the screen*] ...do they know?
btw people have mentioned about the numbers on the board and I personally think it's a texture. Hmm, then again it could mean something so I'll try to see if I can figure it out.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
OMG BOWSER AND JUNIOR I MISSED YOU GUYS
Tumblr media
sorry Mr Puzzles, but there's unfortunately an audience for this
hey, kids can be terrifying
can I just say, these little bits of animation are so good!
correct me if I'm wrong but is that a new Mr. Puzzles face (animation)?
Tumblr media
Hold up, is he in Karen's house?
Tumblr media
HE IS
Karen, you should really upgrade the security of your house. First, Marty, and now Mr Puzzles.
somewhere deep down in my heart i still love you [yes, i did say this out loud]
Karen's kids my beloved ❤️ love it when they act like cute siblings
Tumblr media
still the same SMG3 as always... uh, I mean it's totally not Three what are you talking about?
also I want to talk about my Ferris Wheel Wedding concept so bad
also pink…?
[*lays on the floor and zooms out of the room*] ok bye bye
Tumblr media
LEGGY?!
[*ducktales theme song plays*]
damn those kids are fast bringing Mr Puzzles from 10 million to 39.7 million (why is that number so specific though, hmm...)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
...oh ...oh ...now I feel bad what the hell
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
HE KEPT THE FLAG I KNEW IT WAS GONNA COME BACK IN SOME WAY
Mr Puzzles: "My ratings haven't moved?"
hmmm.....

Tumblr media Tumblr media
OMG HIIIIIIII
Tumblr media
ok, the traffic scene got me lmao (i have no sense of humor anymore)
seriously tho how did he fit in that little car, but hey that's canon now
god I'm annoying but I just love this, found family my beloved ❤️❤️
Tumblr media
Mario: "Do I join...?"
well, Mario, you did join Three back in the YouTube Arc (unintentionally) so this wouldn't be the first time...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
WOAH WOAH WOAH
I seriously did not expect that, but it makes sense, I don't blame her having mixed feelings about this.
aww Mario and Four making sure Meggy's okay, family is found ❤️
Meggy: "Who does he think he is... thinking he can just roll up and ask me to join him-"
It's technically not out of the question Meggy, that's why we theorize
LEGGY 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO
also I smell a redemption arc for Mr. Puzzles
well, Mr Puzzles, kids do deserve good stories and I'm sure they would've loved to know how you do things but looks like you picked that wrong your audience for that
NEGATIVE 1 STARS?!?!?!
oh hey Three :)
👀 "laughing stock" you say?
PFFT I was going to say, that was good cinematography
It's high noon...
wait, was that audio from AMPHIBIA? OH SHIT AMPHIBIA MENTION (timestamp 12:20)
hey remember what I said in my 'ONCE UPON A Ṕ̷̱E̴̺̽R̵̖̎̕F̵̢̗̈́̀E̴̞̍C̴͈̽T̶͓̘̈́ SMG4’ theory:
Every story, no matter how outlandish it seems, is grounded in reality.
The showdown is exactly how it played out at the end of the Meme Factory mini-arc, with the gun and everything!
"I thought we were friends." "You are not my friend(s) anymore."
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
oh shit OH SHIT
Tumblr media Tumblr media
OH SHITTTTTT!!!!!!!
Tumblr media
OMG WAS MY EYE OF RA THEORY RIGHT?!?!? HE'S RED AND EVERYTHING, JUST LIKE THE RED SUN DISK RA HAS OMG OMG
oooh that song at the end tho
damn Mr Puzzles really snapped. like, I know that's him breaking down, crying, but I can also hear it as insane laughter. he's broken broken...
....WHATTTTT
Tumblr media
also congrats VerperrTea for your art making it to the credits, love to see it!!! 🎉
Tumblr media
.・-: ✧ :--: ✧ :-・.
so uh, that was a lot to take in. It was good to follow Mr Puzzles in this episode. Love to see all the fanmade faces featured as well. Overall, a great episode! I'm surprised at how much it got me. Now that we know FOR SURE that WOTFI is coming, we're getting the little bits of clues we have put together. And the title did not lie, Mr Puzzles really did reach his lowest point. I also loved the bit of the channel acknowledging the "i want the old SMG4" fans.
Aw, my dear fellows, I'm just anxious but ready to see how Mr Puzzles will go all-out villain again. (please goop!4 please goop!4) I've checked the WOTFI website and nothing has changed so we're good... for now. Can't wait to see what happens next!!!
...what do you mean I have to wait a whole week for the next episode?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Alr you gotta say the first thoughts in your head about Vanoss and Delirious GO!
it drives me insane how they are each other's exceptions (or at least, jon is to evan)
for example, evan has built up this asshole repertoire where he bullies everyone ceaselessly EXCEPT for jon. he will apologize to him (GTA when he destroyed the bear memorial (and in that same video, he killed moo by accident but didn't apologize), small GMod mistakes like misplacing props, skits gone wrong, and several other instances). he will try and amend his mistakes with him. evan will straight up ditch a whole bit just so that he can let jon join in (minecraft; the nether star fiasco (even brian who started the bit was like WTF evan)), jon will run away from the others and let only evan tag along with him (also in minecraft. they even state outright how pissed the others will be LMAO.) and share items with him for no reason (minecraft. again. chick-fil-a scene (focus on evan's inventory)), and evan will just laugh the hardest and the softest (genuinely for no reason other than jon's laugh. the joke was already over by that point) around him?? and there IS a noticeable difference. btw. im not losing my mind over this.
evan's mood will do a complete fucking 180 when it comes to jon (a little bit of a longer clip because it needs to be established what their mood was PRIOR to this and how SHARPLY it changes once jon is in the picture), even for stuff that he should JUSTIFIABLY be upset about**
(i was also so tempted to also mention all of their friend's feelings ABOUT them but this is about THEM. however, i wouldn't mind spilling about that either)
** this is a way longer tangent so ill put it under a cut (SPOILERS FOR ONE OF EVAN'S AMONG US VIDEOS INCLUDED)
video here, (starts at the timestamp, also time stamping this one bc this segment is longer than what youtube clips allows for.)
for context, jon and evan are playing among us with other people. evan is an imposter and fools around with jon (this is not an exaggeration) before locking him into storage. his imposter crewmate sneaks in, kills jon and runs off, but in the meeting that follows afterwards, jon accidentally exposes evan by not muting his mic, getting evan killed.
INSTEAD of being angry at him (yes. this is a video game but they've been pissed over lesser things), or even a SMIDGE of being upset, evan instead goes over and COMFORTS him.
LIKE. i can VERIFY to you that that has accidentally happened before and all other times, people in this game have been LIVID. they've been PISSED. these are gamer bros that are easy to launch into a cursing fit. yet he doesnt.
(yes, evan does have a rep for not exploding into anger but he shows himself being upset in other ways. none of those are present in that video.)
Notes:
6.06 - 8:40 is one of those scenes that makes me?? lose it?? /affectionately
because its a MIX of things.
evan is playing with jon here. and im not talking about like. playing as in playing the game. he's doing a bit with jon and jon only and it reminds me of like, stereotypical girls when they get a guy to chase them while giggling, like they're PLAYING TAG right now. just the two of them.
evan didnt even kill jon. evan probably WASNT PLANNING TO. he was just messing around with jon probably and was going to leave him alone after this, like i kinda wish jon didn't die to see what evan WOULD've done
just??? their fucking BANTER in general, then their soft comfort at the end?? like that is INCREDIBLY out of their gamer persona, like i cannot state this enough. they have their moments together and GODDDD YEAH.
when they're dead, prox chat is off. they didn't NEED to be that close to each other to talk and yet they are (also. grizzy is nowhere near them and yet hes engaging in the convo, meaning that presence is not mandatory)

okay so i just steamrolled thru detective pikachu returns over the past 2 days because i was sick and had nothing else better to do and right after finishing it i went into the tags and WOWIE the negative reception is very large!! i do understand and even agree with some of it but i just felt the need to get my own thoughts down (again. sick with nothing better to do) so take a peek under readmore for very typical elongated halo ramblings about his fave video game series
for the record i never played the first game (only watched a few clips of it on youtube even) but i did go see the movie in theaters. just figured i'd mention this ahead of time so my favoritism is known and to prevent myself from coming off as a perfectly unbiased reviewer
BEWARE THE SPOILERS BTW
(post-editing note: it be long under here, you have been warned)
to start off YEAG this game is not worth 50 bucks! the story's pacing is all over the place and is very basic, the graphics are not particularly well refined, the characters' expressions do not fluctuate as much as they should (professor gordon in particular ;-; i felt so bad for him), and the voice acting outside of merloch and detective pikachu himself are kinda phoned in! it felt like an early 2000s 4kids dub for real. even the gameplay aspects themselves were rather meh in presentation; the button hitboxes were annoying to deal with and as cool as i thought the "main" mechanics were they were incredibly clunky and the tension they tried to build up in the "solving the case" climaxes was just Not It. there was absolutely no reason for the loading/pauses to take that long
(the pokemon gimmicks were okay tho. i would die for growlithe)
however, this isn't a problem specific to this game. while i enjoyed scarlet it was definitely not 60 bucks material (and when i went back to it for the teal mask i even went "good lord, did it always run this badly?"). i gotta give credit to detective pikachu, at least this game ran properly for the most part and never crashed on me lmao
while that doesn't negate the criticisms i previously mentioned i simply wanted to say that this is going to be a problem for as long as pokemon keeps making money. this isn't me finger-wagging at anyone in particular (i certainly have no room to talk, i did say i liked scarlet), i just wanted to say: yeah, pokemon has been A Mess
"but halo!" you cry. "you talked like the negative reception was overblown! what gives the giant negative paragraph??"
because much like scarlet, i still really enjoyed this game sdfjnsdk. how can i say that with confidence, though, when i largely agree that there were many, many issues to be had with its performance?
the word of the day: expectations
and perhaps this is where my bias comes into it. whenever i play a spinoff game (like snap or pokepark for instance), i don't really go into it for mindblowing gameplay and stories, i do it for the same reason this series has kept me enraptured for over a decade of my life:
the pokemon themselves!!
there are SO MANY little things that the regular games don't go into, and while i have my own headcanons and OCs i can play off of, it is so much fun to see actual canon material acknowledge certain things you've only ever theorized about!!
the whimsicott were so fun to watch float around, the article asking where a furret's tail began and ended made me laugh out loud, the fact that they went hard into the "slowpoke tails are eaten as food" thing, and the "let's not get into that right now" jokes about venonat hunting other pokemon and dusknoir eating souls LIKE. i LOVE when pokemon goes into its more "serious" aspects. i know main series games do it too occasionally but outside of offhanded mentions or pokedex entries, do they go this hard into them? if they do and i'm just stupid pls tell me about it i'll eat that shit up
being reminded of less-talked-about pokemon is always a plus and how can you not pop off when you see one of your faves included in the story? (INTELEON AND WOOPER I'LL KICK THEIR ASSES 4 U) it's simply fun immersing yourself into the world of pokemon and getting a glimpse of what it would be like to have pokemon walking down the street and how that affects everyday life! maybe the story is basic, but it served its purpose and i had fun going along with it!
perhaps it's just my mental illness talking, but walking around and seeing all the pokemon and THEN doing the quiz girl's quizzes was actually kinda nice! even if the puzzles weren't that hard, i can't lie and say i didn't pump my fist when i guessed where the mystery was going like with cramorant swallowing the jewel or how the passimian statues needed to hold different berries. overall, i just enjoyed being reminded of how much i know and what i love about this series
also, the ways they incorporated the movie were pretty baller. i liked how they didn't just do a repeat of the mewtwo plot from the movie and let me tell you, even tho i called it early on, i liked that my suspicions about the aurora drop being deoxys were confirmed!! (i suppose it's not that hard to guess bcs what other pokemon comes from space, but i just recently finished playing omega ruby again and i normally don't think about deoxys a lot so LET ME HAVE THIS)
plus "i heard they made a movie about the R case" MADE ME SCREAM. i thought they were just going to ignore the movie and do their own thing but then they DID THAT. incredible. you can call my expectations low (which is valid) but holy fuck
so the TLDR for those who want this: if you want a sweet but cliche game exploring the world of pokemon with a lot of funny moments + worldbuilding, then this game is perfect for you. if you want a game with a groundbreaking story with graphics to boot, then yeah, you're not gonna find it here. i've even seen people say their own nostalgia of the original spinoff wasn't enough to get them to enjoy this game, so take my words with a grain of salt
i would say just watch compilations of the game on youtube, but not every youtuber is gonna go fully exploring the game for all of its little details, so if you care about that kind of stuff, buying the game is your best bet. also if you don't care about that kind of stuff then you should just ignore the game altogether etc etc anYwAY
as for a TLDR for the TLDR: new pokemon snap is goated and i would say a more enjoyable experience than this game esp if you didn't like it so PLEASE buy it the game's only 30 bucks and you can throw treats at pokemon PLEASE it has so many sidequests and interactions you can partake in PLEASE i prommy i won't bite PLEASE stick your fingers in my enclosure PLEASE PLEASE PLE

13 books
What’s up readers?! How about a little show and tell? Answer these 13 questions, tag 13 lucky readers and if you’re feeling extra bookish add a shelfie! Let’s Go!
Tagged by @quarkscooljacket
This is perfect because I had an extremely slow start to the year in terms of reading and then SUDDENLY in the last few weeks I got my library card un-blocked and then maxed out my reservations and am now reading a bunch of books!!!!!!!
1) The Last book I read:
Question 7 by Richard Flanagan! I extremely liked it! Very contemplative novel/nonfic/memoir mishmash threading through such things as the way scifi writers & physicists prefigured & led to & failed to prevent the bombing of Hiroshima, his father being a POW in Japan who almost certainly would not have survived (and had him!) if the bombs had not been dropped, the history of Tasmania, his own near drowning while kayaking in the Franklin river, and the way history and memory shapes us and is eternally carried forward with us while also being forgotten/rewritten/impossible to pin down for certain. At least, that's my best go of describing this book.
2) A book I recommend:
This is... so open-ended... if you want to identify native trees in Victoria and nearby areas I would recommend Leon Costerman's Native Trees and Shrubs of South-Eastern Australia lmao. I really like The Golem and the Jinni by Helene Wecker, a historical fiction/urban fantasy book about a golem and a jinni living in immigrant communities in New York in the early 1900s, and also the sequel.
3) A book that I couldn’t put down:
Not a book per se but one of the webcomics I got into relatively recently is What happens next https://whathappensnext.webcomic.ws/ which reminds me a bit of Nevada by Imogen Binnie except if all of the characters were youtubers and/or tumblrinas and either involved in a murder or just big into true crime (in universe, fictional). It's very gripping. Of course now that I'm caught up there's the usual wait for updates but such is life.
I also read The Wicked + the Divine last week, since I'd never previously read the final 2 volumes, and that was good. I'm glad to find out I liked the ending. Comics are always a quick read but nevertheless some are more action-packed and fast paced than others lmao, and I just ripped through these in every spare second.
4) A book I’ve read twice (or more):
Naomi Novik is probably my most read author because I've read most of her books twice or more... So far I've read Spinning Silver & His Majesty's Dragon three times each; those are 2 of my absolute favourites. I've read most of the rest of the Temeraire series 2 or 3 times too but few of them grab me quite as much as the first one, & I read the first Scholomance book twice. I feel like I should reread Uprooted because that's the only one of her books I've not liked (though some of the duller Temeraire books get a bit of a leg-up from being in a series with other books I really like lol); since I only remember vague impressions of it now, which might not be accurate, I would like to see if my feelings have changed, or if not, figure out more specifically what I didn't like about it.
5) A book on my TBR:
Praiseworthy by Alexis Wright also happens to be one of the books I borrowed!! It was mentioned on a podcast along with Question 7 and Search History (currently reading, q12) so that is how I found out about these 3 books and was compelled to reserve them. However, currently I am daunted by how fat it is (700+ pages) so it's just sitting on my bedside table and I am... reading the shorter books first lmao.
I will also leave the blurb copypasted from @quarkscooljacket's answer:
Praiseworthy is an epic set in the north of Australia, told with the richness of language and scale of imagery for which Alexis Wright has become renowned. In a small town dominated by a haze cloud, which heralds both an ecological catastrophe and a gathering of the ancestors, a crazed visionary seeks out donkeys as the solution to the global climate crisis and the economic dependency of the Aboriginal people. His wife seeks solace from his madness in following the dance of butterflies and scouring the internet to find out how she can seek repatriation for her Aboriginal/Chinese family to China. One of their sons, called Aboriginal Sovereignty, is determined to commit suicide. The other, Tommyhawk, wishes his brother dead so that he can pursue his dream of becoming white and powerful. This is a novel which pushes allegory and language to its limits, a cry of outrage against oppression and disadvantage, and a fable for the end of days.
6) A book I’ve put down:
The most recent book I decided I did not want to finish is The Female Man by Joanna Russ. It sounded conceptually cool but I was just finding it way too hard to follow or care about. Too many sections where I couldn't figure out which character/s' perspective it was or whatever. I'm sure there's other books I didn't finish before they became overdue and I had to return them but can't remember, I usually want to finish them eventually. Whether I will get around to it is another matter.
7) A book on my wish list:
I don't normally buy books these days, but nevertheless tempted by A Vast, Pointless Gyration of Radioactive Rocks and Gas in Which You Happen to Occur, edited by the Daniels. It looks extremely interesting and also extremely pretty...
8) A favorite book from childhood:
Hmmmm. I guess I did choose my name from The Wind on Fire trilogy by William Nicholson. Definitely up there among my favourite childhood books.
9) A book you would give to a friend:
Another very open ended one...... this depends so much????? what friend... what occasion... idk... there are books I do kind of want to give people but either I haven't decided or it's supposed to be a surprise and they may see this. although recently I have been incepting Lauren with my impeccable borrowing tastes, reading my library books after me is surely the same thing right??
10) A book of poetry or lyrics that you own
Ismene's Survivable Resistance by Claire Gaskin... she is one of my favourite poets, and I rly like the concept of this book, and I saw her do a reading of some of the poems! However I think my favourite poems by her are ones that are not in this book.
11) A nonfiction book you own:
Hmm... Evolution's Rainbow by Joan Roughgarden is an interesting book published in 2004 about the diversity of sexual and gender variation in the world. The first section is about other animals, and especially about the ways human biologists have imposed ideological frameworks in classifying them; the middle section is about human intersex variation and biology; and the third section is about human cultural sex and gender roles throughout history.
12) What are you currently reading:
Search History by Amy Taylor. About the dating life of a classic mildly messy millennial woman. In this case she goes through the facebook profile of the most recent guy she starts dating and then finds out that his ex girlfriend died, and then goes through the accounts and photos of the ex girlfriend and gets a bit obsessed with her, but has to not let on to the new guy that she has done this deep dive. It's okay! Enjoyable, pretty fast to read, some funny bits and observations and whatnot, but not particularly a stand out read. She is not as much of a freak as I expected she would be when I started reading it, which is both a relief and also a disappointment. So far everyone seems to just be normal mildly flawed people doing overall reasonable things imperfectly, and the conflict is just navigating life's complexity (there's a lot about everyday sexism though). Mostly I just keep thinking how glad I am to not be a heterosexual woman or ever had to attempt online dating/app dating, which are both quite boring and excessively smug things to feel, however, I am simply a bit boring and smug. Anyway I'm only halfway through, I'm expecting/hoping there'll be some twists or something. Maybe about the boyfriend...?
update: was talking to some friends about it this arvo and they said not only that it does get crazier, but ALSO that supposedly it's a modern telling of Rebecca, which I have not read but have now reserved lmao
13) What are you planning on reading next?
I have borrowed all of Delicious in Dungeon and am very excited to start them! Also the next books I have to read for my book clubs are Marlo by Jay Carmichael, which I'd better get onto as it is in less than 2 weeks, and Hijab Butch Blues by Lamya H, which was one of the ones I put on the list myself and am very excited to read (I previously started it and got too busy to finish it but was rly enjoying it so keen to get further), but I actually still have over a month for that one since I can't make this month's meeting for that book club.
As for a shelfie... well here is a photo of all the plant reference books in my desk drawer for quick reference while working (though there's really only 4 I use very often, plus the australian standards on the side there):

What are some of your favorite videogames? ♡ ♡ ♡
(extremely long post incoming lol turns out i have a lot of things to say on this subject)
usually i have too hard of a time trying to remember anything i like to have answers for questions like these but thankfully for this one i have answers prepared since this is something i try to think about a lot
realistically if i had to pick one single "favorite videogame" above the rest itd probably just, like, ocarina of time & majora's mask (i'm considering them to be one videogame because i said so, it;s a package deal), just on account of how much of an impact they had on me from an early age combined with just how often i Still go back to revisit them in one way or another, but this is just about the most basic boring answer a person can have for this question unfortunately
thankfully you asked for some of my favorites instead of just one so i can unveil my Actual list of favorites instead of the one that only holds the top spot by technicality and not because i actually like it "the most". all of my favorite games have such a range in style and quality it's hard to really compare them in any meaningful way
anyway
crypt worlds, space funeral, and off-peak are all pretty different games made by very different people but i usually group them together when talking about stuff like this since collectively finding them all back in the day at roughly the same time kind of shaped my perception of indie games as a whole which probably gave me a very weird and skewed perception of the media but who gives a shit really it's a perception i hold dear. (they weren't the first indie games i ever saw of course but they were the most personally impactful ones that made me go "holy shit, this is awesome, you can do literally whatever you want")
they've pretty heavily influenced my own games, too. there have been multiple times i've started a project and then days later realized "wait shit this is just space funeral again. i'm just making space funeral again but slightly to the left. fuuuck" which is a pretty good problem to have i think.
anyway,
gadget: invention, travel, and adventure is an old point and click game i found a few years ago that struck me by just how unique feeling its atmosphere is. strange looking people turn to you and say even stranger sounding things, the soundtrack feels like its having a nervous breakdown, the main character is given so few meaningful decisions/actions (read: basically none) by the people around them that it can barely be considered a game at all…it is a very fascinating experience, and one that i think back to a lot
i like Your Turn To Die a lot and am very excited to see how it ends, though i feel like i don't have too much to say on it here. one of those games that has me going "oh man i should draw more fanart for that one of these days" every time i'm reminded of it only to then remember that i Can't Fucking Draw right now lmao
myhouse.wad is something that extremely deserves to go on this list but a large part of my brain is telling me not to just because somewhere along the line i fucked up and became allergic to anything that has ever recently become popular & trendy on youtube because i don't want to look like a poser even though literally no one but me cares about where i hear about these things so i can only bring myself to include it if i also state that i played it BEFORE it was cool &all the streamers started covering it like some kind of shameful hipster. but for real though its awesome, very inspiring stuff. i wish my brain did not force me to want to distance myself from it for literally no good reason. fucking ocarina of time is on this list why is this the thing that makes you afraid of looking like a normie
i have a lot of appreciation for myst in a kind of "i've never played more than 5 minutes of this nor have i even bothered to watch a playthrough of it but i understand what you have done for me and the games i love that came after you" kind of way. i have purchased 3 different copies of it over the years as well as a copy of riven and i don't intend on playing any of them anytime soon. great game, probably. i wouldn't know.
i like a lot of kitty horrorshow's games but i don't really know what my favorite would be. lethargy hill is probably the one i think about most often though.
i like (the steam version of) dwarf fortress a lot and have been trying to play it more often. it is very funny having 80 hours in a game and still not feeling like you understand half the mechanics in it. figuring it out as i go along has been fun though. in a similar vein i also like elden ring a lot and despite being at over 160 hours on that one i still haven't beaten it. i need to get back to it before the dlc comes out but i stopped playing for so long that most of my muscle memory is gone…
for something much more recent than all of the above, absolutely perfect specimen is something really incredible that gave me a lot of stuff to think about, though it can be a little hard to recommend since it's extremely 18+ and has a whole big list of content warnings you definitely need to take heed of. extremely interesting work though, i like it a lot.
i'm running out of things to list off and should probably stop just for the sake of time even if there is more shit that deserves mentioning so i'll just end it off with CLONE ON NET YAROZE BABYYYYYY LET'S FUCKIN GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 💯💪🙌💥💯💯

Are either of your parents engaged but not married yet? No. My parents were married prior to having me and my sibling, but they're currently legally separated (not completely divorced). Neither one of them has any plans to re-marry in the future. They still get along for the most part, but they probably wouldn't see one another nearly as often if I wasn't in the mix. We meet up for lunch every few weeks and will see the occasional film in theaters. I also need to call my mom later to figure out where we're going to eat this Thursday.
Do you cuddle with your pet (if you have one)? Of course. Esther isn't a big fan of being held (she's very wiggly), but she will cuddle under the covers with me in bed or sit on my lap when I'm on the computer or something. Karenna is somewhere in the middle in terms of being held (doesn't always love it - doesn't always hate it); she will sit on my lap, and she likes to curl up behind my legs if I'm lying on my side or up by my chest/shoulder if I'm lying on my back. Lacy is the most okay with being held (you can basically hold her like a baby and she's very calm about it), but she's not particularly cuddly; she just likes to be close without being disturbed. She's also more bonded with my dad than with me, so she tends to sleep in his bed down by his legs.
What college did you want to attend as a kid? I didn't care. I knew it was more or less expected that I would attend, but as for a dream college, there was nothing like that. I ended up going to a local community college, but I never completed a degree.
Do you have a pet gecko? I don't.
Are you scared of reptiles? I'd be apprehensive if I had to deal with anything venomous, but in general, no. I really enjoyed taking care of all the reptiles when I worked at the pet shop.
Honestly, have you ever eaten raw cookie dough? Possibly. I know I've eaten raw brownie and banana nut bread batter - my sibling and I always used to eat the leftovers from the bowl when we were kids.
Where would you most like to go in your state, etc that you haven’t been? I don't have anywhere specific in mind, but I would love to explore the mountain backroads in CO. Maybe make it a multi-day trip. Stop for cute towns and tourist attractions, photo opportunities at scenic overlooks, picnics, great campsites…
Who was the last member of the opposite sex you laid in a bed with? I'm not sure.
About what things are you most selfish? Probably food, lmao. I can and will share, especially when there's an abundance, but there are times when I can be possessive and worried about having enough. Idk if it's an eating disorder thing or what.
Are you camera shy? Why/why not? Not really. I've just accepted that I'm going to think I look crappy in photos taken by other people. The memories matter more.
What is one small thing your significant other does that makes you happy? If you are single, what is one small thing a friend does to make you happy? This just re-re-reminded me to check my messages from Ollie, but it says "message unavailable." Huh. Anyway. One thing they do is hype me up. Recently, they were saying that I should be a social media manager for the animal shelter because I take so many photos and know the kitties so well. They already have someone (probably more than someone) who manages that sort of thing and I'm not at all tech-savvy, but their belief in my ability was uplifting. :')
From inside of your house, how many doors lead outside? Two. Then there's another door that leads to the garage.
Who was the last person to give you flowers? I received a bouquet of sunflowers at the volunteer appreciation dinner last April.
What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up? Worrying, overthinking, excess sugar, coffee, smoking, volunteering, YouTube…
Do you like BBQ sauce? I do.
How many subscribers do you have on your YouTube channel? Zero. I only use it for watching videos; I don't create content or leave any comments.
If you could have a car in any color you wanted, which color? I'm fine with the car I have (it's red).
What is your favorite Avril Lavigne song? I don't have a favorite.
What was the last thing you were mad at a doctor about? That's not a story I want to get into.
Is your mother a lesbian? I don't think so…
Do any of your close friends NOT have a Facebook account? I don't know whether Ollie has one or not. I haven't been active there for about a decade now, so it's not something I tend to think about.
Would you ever consider getting dreadlocks? No.
When was the last time you swam in a pool? Not since I was a teenager.
What was the last thing you said out loud? Probably something to one of my cats.
Have you ever wanted to be a nurse? No.
Who or what do you worship? I don't really worship anything - not even God. I do believe in God (for lack of a better way to put it), but my connection isn't like that. In fact, sometimes I can get downright pissy. Just the other day, I was like, "Hey God, what the actual fvck is up with this shit?!" I know I'll eventually turn the situation into some sort of lesson or learning experience, but will it ever make divine sense? Who knows.
What was the last song you listened to on repeat? I don't know about a single song, but the last album I listened to on repeat was Precession by Fifty Dollar Dynasty.
What song do you want played at your wedding? There isn't one. If it was up to me, I'd just do without it.
What are three of the most painful things you have ever stepped on? Just stuff like hot asphalt/cement and rocks. I also stepped on a bee as a child. I was running through the park while wearing sandals, and a bee somehow managed to get between my foot and my sandal and it stung the underside of my toe. It wasn't especially painful, though.
If applicable, what song are you listening to right now? I'm not listening to anything.
If you could choose three US states to visit, which three states would you pick? Let's go with national parks instead because they would be my main reason for visiting a particular state: the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and Glacier NP.
Have you ever donated blood? No.
Would you rather attend a yoga class or a Zumba class? Zumba sounds fun.
Have you written anything down today? No.
Do you own a pair of pink pants? I have some old pink sweats/track pants.
Do you normally eat healthy? I'm nowhere near a health fanatic, but I don't have the worst diet in the world either. I eat a lot of generally healthy foods, but I also eat plenty of treats/junk foods.
What is the best compliment you’ve ever received? I'm not sure… The people who say the nicest things are my dad, my therapist, and Ollie, but you know that tendency to doubt the people closest to you because they "have to" say nice things or they're just biased or whatever? Well…it's like that.
Do you believe in miracles? Maybe not miracles. Maybe not some sort of divine intervention. But highly unlikely, amazing, fortuitous events that seem to come out of the blue or snatch victory from the jaws of defeat? Sure.
What are three ways in which you are not normal? Hmm. I volunteer full time instead of applying for an actual job/paycheck (I have my reasons). I drink a loooot of water (thirstiest person alive, literally, I swear). I don't like road trips (aside from the hypothetical scenario I talked about above).
Which genre of music do you listen to the most? Classical. Then whatever's on the radio at the shelter. Usually pop, classic rock/rock, and occasionally country.
Last person you kissed, are they into any type of sports? Which ones? No.
Does your best friend have a job? Yes.
Do you ever visit people at work? Like outside of work? As friends instead of merely coworkers? No. However, Libby left recently and now works at a bakery in town, so I am planning on going there soon to get some treats and say hello. :')
When you move out your house (or if you already have moved out) do you plan on still visiting your parents’ house? Of course.
Do you usually take home leftovers if you eat out in a restaurant? I often do. Exceptions would be when I feel like there's not enough to bother or if I just genuinely don't think I will eat the rest of it.
Have you ever ghost rode the whip (put your car on auto and dance next to it as it’s moving)? Do you want to? No.
What do you think of long-term relationships? I don't even know what to say to this, lmao. It's such a strange question. Like yes, I would like to have a long-term, solid, healthy connection with someone…?
Do you have a lot of social media accounts? Do you update them all regularly? Just a few. I update this account and my IG fairly regularly.
When you’re in trouble, do your parents ever “middle name” you? No.
When was the last time you got a new tattoo or piercing? Do you have any plans to get either in the future? It's been years.
Are you patriotic at all? Why/why not? I think this survey was combined with another that I took recently, so I'm just gonna breeze through the questions I've already answered.
Are you any good at packing a suitcase? I guess...? It's not hard...?
Have you ever had a white hot chocolate? What did you think? I haven't, but I would be interested in trying one.
Do you ever get eczema? No.
Have you ever mowed a lawn? Yeah.
Is there anyone you would do literally anything for? No. But figuratively, I would do anything for my dad and my cats.
Have you ever done a “knock-and-run” prank? A few times as a kid.
Have you ever stabbed a friend in the back, intentionally or not? I don't want to go into detail, but you could say that. It wasn't malicious - like my intention wasn't to hurt or betray them - but it was pretty selfish.
What’s the longest you’ve ever slept in one go? Without waking up whatsoever? I'm not sure.
Have you ever dated someone with an accent different than yours? Not really.
Have you ever worked two jobs at once? No.
Do you enjoy the smell and taste of cinnamon? I do.
Do you own a pocketknife, or any other kind of multi-tool? I don't personally, but I think we have an old Swiss Army knife somewhere.
What was the last thing you took a video of? I'm not sure.
What are some of your least favorite foods? I'm not a huge fan of most seafood. I'll eat some battered and fried stuff, but that's about it. I'm also not a fan of seaweed. I've tried to like it, but I just…can't.

ADHD/ Neurodiversity rant, Ig?? (TLDR at the end)
I feel like I've definitely went through some character development over the years but especially when I learned more about my ADHD.
They don't really give you that much info when you get diagnosed, I feel (I got diagnosed pretty young at like 7-8 and started taking meds when I was about 9 years old, I think).
And I started learning more about it in, like, middle school and it was wild to figure out that I wasn't alone in these experiences I was having like RSD (AND THE RSD CHEST PAIN- I WAS LIKE "OTHER PEOPLE WITH ADHD FEEL THIS TOO?!?"), Sensory issues (I get pissed if I get overstimulated and it was a relief to find out that other people feel like that too), skipping lines when I read and getting headaches while reading even though I wasn't dyslexic (Convergence insufficiency), being uncoordinated (my handwriting always going upwards instead of in a straight line, having trouble with using keys, or getting food all over myself when I ate) , problems with emotional regulation, etc.
Shout out to people on tiktok/youtube who have info on ADHD like: Connor DeWolfe, Ethan Nestor & Markiplier (not really their main content but they both do have it and occasionally talk about it. Ethan has the hyperactive type and Mark has the inattentive type), Olivia Lutfallah (her ADHD simulators are SO ACCURATE- And she has AuDHD so she has some stuff about autism too, I believe)
I remember I felt sorta daunted at first to realize I was way different than my peers than I first thought
and I had that sorta grieving process that people get when they get diagnosed later in life even though I had already been diagnosed
Like, "Damn. If only my past-self had known that. Maybe I could've shielded her from getting hurt."
But also, knowing more helped me move forward with more of a plan, I guess
Can't accommodate to yourself if you don't know what to accommodate to, right?
Anyways, I'm saying this because I think it's so important that people be taught more about Neurodiversities
Kids, parents, teachers, etc. should all be more informed because it saves a lot of confusion and pain for people in the long-run
Cuz a kid won't know that they have a different brain because that's all they've ever known. Sorta reminds me of the quote:
“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”
But yeah, if it hadn't been for my second grade teacher who noticed that I was coming home with classwork and who didn't think I was just being lazy, I don't know if I would be here, today, to be honest.
All it takes is one person to notice the signs of neurodiversity and speak up to change someone's life for the better
which is why I always try to educate my friends on this kinds of things so that they can be more helpful and understand of people with neurodiversites and of themselves if they realize they have a neurodiversity
Also, I write about this because I used to find characters like Mable Pines and Steven Universe annoying until I realized they exhibited ADHD symptoms and there was probablyyy some internalized ableism in my mind as a kid. I was able to watch the shows with these characters in them as a teenager and realize how much they characters were like me! And I loved them for it! It's really cool to see how much my knowledge and acceptance for my ADHD has grown as I've grown!
Anywayssss, that is all. I'm on my meds rn and I had some motivation so decided to talk about this hehe. I gotta get ready for some babysitting rn lmao.
TLDR; People should be educated more on the signs of Neurodiversities so that people can get the help they need sooner instead of thinking they are "Wrong", "stupid", or "broken". I bolded some cool resources for more ADHD (and some other Neurodiversity) info and a cool quote :)

heyy :) erm im gonna fangirl really quick and then the request will be at the end incase you wanna skip to that part or anything, lol. okay so this is very much unnecessary and unasked for and blah blah but i don't care! i believe writers need to hear how much we appreciate them and their works because whew mama! ive been trying to write fics for like months and it actually is so horrible. i genuinely start to angrily vibrate bc my thoughts don't flow on the notes app. but i just wanted to say, nightshade, (ehehe that's so cheeky and silly for some reason) that i reallyyy love your work. its actually like horrific how much your writing just makes me so 😜😊🤭 i know you're not like a celebrity or anything, so it's gonna be weird with this like mini parasocial relationship thing, but please know your work has an impact !! a few months ago, i did something extremely bad and out of character while i was spiraling, and i decided that the best decision for me would be to quit using social media. (and beforehand i had quit using tiktok for like 7 months already and i wasn't that addicted to my phone but i still was consuming negative media) so, ofc, i stopped completely for a good month or so and only ever using youtube every now and then. buttttt, one of the first social media platforms i came back to first... was tumblr! it's actually so silly too because i only used tumblr like 4 times beforehand so i was quite new. but anyway anyway (im a yapper UGH) i really found that your posts had made me feel happy :) idk they kinda reminded me of myself before i went big bad that one time and it made me inspired to go back to how i used to be... u get me?? you're writing literally haunts my brain oh my lord it should be illegal to read your stuff because afterwards i literally have this crazy ass urge to read more and more and more. im lowkey an addict cause i be having my deadlynightshade withdrawals. the way you write is just so 😫 gosh, it's beautiful. i also love ur sillyness because like ME TOO. your random little posts are so me coded and i love it. YOU'RE SO FUNNY 😭 uhmm i just wanted to say thanks for being super cool and talented because believe it or not, the stuff you put out makes me really happy! (that was so melodramatic like mf they write about spencer being a pathetic pussy drunk bitch why are you saying it changed ur life?? its true tho.) erm yeah that's the end of that part i just again wanted to thank you 🙏 i wish we were friends SO BAD like you're actually awesome what the fuck.... but like how do u even become friends w ppl?? LMAO ERM ANYWAY 😍 can you write a blurb or h.c or something (honestly anything will make me happy) about valentine's day?? 🤭 basically spencer being SO FUCKING SHY because you can't stop touching his hands or hair subtly or like kissing his cheek leaving marks from lipstick or like getting him his favorite snacks/drinks/books/textures/ basically a gift that made u think about him?? ugh or him doing the same with you like him being the best fucking nerd boy ever and spoiling you so much like he goes ape shit spending well over his funds limit but it's worth it because it's you? or like sweet soft cutie pie sex? at the end of the day and he's like... Erm.. Pussy for 1 please! you were so pretty today... You always are-! (I'm mentally ill and writing this at 8:37 pm on a thursday night.)
this is. the sweetest shit anyone has ever said to me i actually cried ngl to you.
i'm genuinely so thankful for the little community i have created here i never expected such an insane amount of positivity and love from people just for the whack ass shit i write but that's probably just my perpetual self hatred and disbelief that people enjoy anything about me🤞
i think it's crazy how people on the internet who have never met me, don't know me, what i look like, or anything can treat me better than any of my friends have and i'll always be thankful for that.
ALSO! i love being called funny pls kiss me i never think i'm actually funny istg
i was also planning on writing a valentines fic ALREADY but this made me wanna write it even more as a thank you for this message it genuinely made my week(can't promise it ON TIME for valentines but i can try!)
i'm also so glad that my work and blog makes you happy, there's no privilege greater than making someone smile even when they don't feel like it</3

Thanks to the blog that found this crumb. I don't speak French but from what I understand we were robbed of the footage. If they have so much chemistry in front of millions of people, imagine behind the cameras.
https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/Entre-kylian-mbappe-et-olivier-giroud-la-bromance-au-grand-jour-apres-france-australie/1366565
hahaha this is a cute article, thanks for sharing! i think it's amusing that this was written after the australia match, aka even before the poland match and That Moment(tm). it just goes to show how close they are now lol, and it reminds me of giroud saying "my relationship with him is very good" at a press conference around this time.
but about their dynamic off the pitch - this article should be credible, so it's really a damn shame we didn't get to see too much of them in the "best of" compilations on youtube. though from what i remember they actually sit at complete opposite ends of the meal table lmao so i'll brush over that, but it's so cute that they apparently warm up next to each other?????? and of course mbappe teases giroud for the way he always pulls up his shorts during training omfg i would too... he's so lame /affectionate
i hope we can get some more cute moments captured of them if the official youtube account posts another compilation later this month! T^T

the girlies are going through it so i’ve watched even more stuff lately
i forgot in the last post that phil and i are keeping up with my adventures with superman (we are going to watch the newest one[s] today!) and this show is just. exactly what i want in superman media. because it’s superman! it’s why i love superman!!!!!! it’s just colorful and fun and he’s so puppy!!! and it’s incredibly anime, like they’re really out here wearing their inspirations on their sleeves and i love them for it. if you like superman who is actually superman and not batman but wearing blue this is the show for you. (and!!! he’s got the underwear!!)
bella and i also have started only murders in the building season 3. not much to say yet cause only two episodes but we’re off to a good start! i shan’t spoil who is IN THIS SEASON OH MY GOODNESS but i will remind everyone who forgot like we did that paul rudd.
we unexpectedly marathoned our flag means death the other night cause i had still not yet watched it and uhh. i mean do i really need to go into this one? xae was also there while we watched and he ended up getting sucked in to the point he was literally yelling at the show by episode nine. (also: when lucius was like “i know i’m not cute but i’ve decided to carry myself as if i am”? that’s the energy i want to embody from now on.)
as for movies: i think i should have included in the last one but am not sure about the order of things because time is fake that i saw insidious for the first time. i actually wrote a little mini-essay in my head about gender roles in that movie but it wasn’t as egregious about it as, say, a quiet place. like insidious doesn’t make me low-key a bit mad like that one does lmao. it has some real good spookenings! too bad the sequels are apparently real bad cause i would like to have continued the story, but it’s not killing me or anything. like that cliffhanger didn’t make me tear my hair out or whatever. it’s patrick wilson he’ll be fine.
we watched an irish film called the hole in the ground which is about a hole in the ground (that has some evil fey creatures in it). it was good! it’s very beautiful and quiet and atmospheric and i am a slut for atmosphere. this is for if you want a straightforward but artistic horror film.
then we watched the night house, and i guess horror movies don’t feel the need to have warnings because it’s a horror movie and you know it’s going to be horrific but we both wish we’d been warned ahead of time how much this one deals with suicide. it was really good and i could probably write a lot on it but it was also quite heavy and hit really hard. the ending had us both nearly in tears. recommended but with that warning.
(we rewatched the menu afterward to bring the mood back up. good-ass movie.)
and last night!! we watched red white and royal blue! i read the book ages ago but bella and rose were both going in pretty much blind and i’m so pleased with how much they loved it. i think it was a good adaptation. they kept what made the book a good read (it’s just a little modern romantic fairy tale with two men) and i think they conveyed the vibes of the developing relationship well. the lads played the roles well and with a lot of heart and sincerity. let’s not try to force either of them to come out over it though please? also in that vein: i am afraid that the release of the film is going to revive The Discourse about the story, so this is a reminder that mcquiston wrote it around the 2016 election as a way to cope and escape to a better and more just world. they know what it is and what it says.
can’t remember what else i’ve watched besides quite a bit of black mirror. i’ve been kind of choosy with the episodes because i’m still fucking haunted by the first one!!! why did they do that!!!!! but i gotta say. sarah hawkinson on youtube was so right. nosedive might be the best episode of the whole thing. just flawless. I could watch that ending scene ten thousand times i love it so much. special shoutout to joan is awful which is another current fav. maybe if i get through the whole series i’ll do a full ranking.
oh. and still playing zelda. haven’t got another divine beast but have fought a looooot of lynels. now just going around trying so hard to get guardians to drop ancient cores. not a sign of a giant one yet and i need THREE MORE PLEASE COME ON.

what are your top fav pieces of star wars media (books, games, movies, shows, all count) and why?
you're my hero for asking this
the prequel movies. i just love obi-wan with his gay little padawan braid. i love the designs of all the drones (especially the separatist drones because they share one brain cell & juggle it like a hot potato). the podracing scene i must have watched 500 times at least, & it was the precursor to my obsession with any and all racing games (there’s actually a podracing ps2 game! but also i loved jak X combat racing, & wipeout fusion. anything that let you race and also fire missiles). & then obi-wan kenobi in the subsequent movies - i was obsessed. also, the prequel movies were my first intro to tragedy as a concept, which you can tell i am still !!! about. i love when the ending is already over at the beginning. also my mom hated the prequel movies so only my friends had the DVDs. i used to treasure any time i got to watch them.
the Jedi Apprentice and Jedi Quest books. the jedi apprentince books follow the story of Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon, and the jedi quest books follow Obi & Anakin. as you can imagine it was kryptonite for a trans kid obsessed with obi-wan. they are also in general really good & fun books with serious storylines & also a lot of lightsaber fights. you can listen to all of the jedi apprentice books on youtube (narrated by an AI, i think, but still good.) https://youtu.be/NA4IfH1qG2s
jedi: fallen order. this game is everything a star wars game can & should be. it’s gorgeous. it has a combat system that feels a bit like dark souls or probably most of all sekiro - only easier, generally lol. the lightsabers and the environments are just bursting with colour, and having a little droid pal or just a little pal in general is my favourite genre of video game (see: jak & daxter, ratchet & clank). i grew to love the player character, Cal, especially once my little droid BD-1 came into the picture, but as you all know Trilla Suduri is more my style. she’s a wonderful antagonist. genuinely scares the shit out of me when she shows up. her VO does a stunning job. & yeah, the central message of the game and the structure of the levels (except Zeffo. fuck you Zeffo) is a really chill balance of combat, parkour, and exploration. out of all the planets i really really really really love Bracca and Dathomir, because they are soooo atmospheric & dark. this is why my au is based off fallen order - because it isn’t afraid of getting dark, & Trilla is one of the most compelling characters in any video game for me.
the LEGO star wars games. formative for my whole sense of humour. also being a completionist with video games (not so good) i HAD to unlock all the characters. also shoutout to the podracer game. i recently got it again on playstation & raced all my previous records again & it reminded me how solid old racing games are. (and how addictive lmao)
i was raised on the original trilogy. we watched A New Hope on christmas every year, kind of haphazardly while cooking, so it gives me warm family feelings. my mom was a total nerd about it (her whole family is, actually) & she would sit there & do what i do with the lotr movies, giving me random bits of lore. no surprise she was in love with Mark Hamill as a teenager. i love those movies though & am still struck by how moody & atmospheric it is. nothing tops the emotional moments on tatooine with the infamous binary sunset. C3PO was important autistic rep for me too 😂 i love him to pieces, & obviously i fell instantly in love with princess leia, and han solo. luke took me years to like, actually, but he’s very precious to me now - i always thought that he took his losses too calmly, but now i can see that he’s a really emotional character, & actually a really gorgeous snapshot of a certain kind of masculinity that i feel very close to. the og trilogy is so wonderful & it was one of the formative films of my lifelong obsession with galaxies far far away.
i absolutely adored the recent Kenobi show (& also Andor, but not so much). they just really knocked it out of the part for me with Inquistor Reva, & also how they discussed Obi’s trauma & his grief, but also the bright spark of young Leia (i will fight ten horses for her etc etc). it was also leaning into the scarier and more serious parts of star wars lore - what with the Inquisiton being what it is. so many of the characters in this stole my heart, which is amazing considering how few episodes there were.
last but certainly not least, it has to be Knights of the Old Republic. i used to beg my dad to go on his desktop computer when i was a kid. i played it many times for many hours. it was my first RPG and it was STAR WARS and i got to make decisions and change the narrative. my favs being my edgy boi (gender-neutral) Revan, & Bastila because she was peak ‘overachieving girl goes apeshit to nobody’s surprise’, and also HK-47 (will always stan a murder robot). it was the first media i had massive and convoluted personal lore for, so you could say it made me Worse, but it’s really one of the games of all time for me.

david flincher ahh he’s so good omg i never watched fight club because i was sooo full of my self and swore i wasn’t “like other film fans” (ummm i was lying i love all the classics) but i secretly wanted to watch it right? but since i never watched it on time the plot twist of the movie was spoiled to me by a video from a comedy youtuber LOLLL i was so annoyed at myself
SOCIAL NETWORKK YESS i loved that movie idk i like jesse eisenberg he’s a silly awkward lil guy he did a good job!!
OH GUY RITCHIE!! dont kill me but i havent seen many of his films aaaa will make sure to check out his stuff aaaaa

HI HELLO MY FELLOW FILM BRO HIII:333333333333 I HOPE YOU'VE BEEN DOING WELL!!!!!! OKE BUT THE "I DON'T KNOW WHY I BITE" SCENE WAS SOOOO WAHHHH THAT HIS TO HARD:(((((((((((((((((((((((((( i loved that film so fucking much
NOOOO NOT THE SPOILED FIGHT CLUB PLOTT THAT'S SO UNFORTUNATE!!!!!!!!!!!! i actually only saw it like two years back and i truly don't even know how i managed to avoid the spoilers.. or maybe i just like blurred them out in my head bc the plot twist was soo so delicious when i did finally watch it i liked it a lot!!!!!!!!!! but yeah it's one of my feel good films lmao i think it's so so funny and i love the soundtrack too!!! OH AND JESSE EISENBERGG!!!!! HE'S FUCKING AMAZING IN THE SOCIAL NETWORK he scratches my brain so good
AAA DON'T YOU EVEN WORRY ABT GUY RITCHIE!!!!!!!!!!! i really don't judge others for what they have seen and for what they haven't bc like.. ppl have lives and stuff to do and also i feel like people's experiences with films can be so different purely based on their childhoods and their parents. liiike i've always been a big movie Watcher bc of my dad!!!! he took me to the cinema a lot a lot when i was younger so obviously it's like second nature to me in a way. sorry i'm like rambling abt it now but i just remember how at my last workplace i tended to talk abt films a lot too and then my coworkers were constantly apologizing for not having seen most of them and i was just always trying to reassure them that i really don't judge them for it. i was just trying to recommend them stuff in a sense of . i hope you'll remember that i once said it was good and not in like a Oh i hope you go home and watch it right away and report back to me . LIKE NOOO😭😭😭 everybody should watch what they want and when they want. there are like a million billion different films out there it's not really a competition of who gets to watch all of them first lmao
oh this also reminded me of smth that irked me off so bad,, i was talking to this other coworker and i was telling her that i'm gonna go and see babylon. they said that the name doesn't ring a bell and i was just like ohh!! it's by damien chazelle but that didn't ring any bells either WHICH I THINK IS VERY OKAY ppl aren't good with names and i get that, so i brought up whiplash bc yk that's his most known film right and then she was like OHHHH and told me that she's heard abt it but she hasn't seen it. which is again. very normal😭😭😭 i definitely know some ppl who would make a bit of a scene like OH WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU HAVEN'T SEEN WHIPLASH IT'S SUCH A BIG FILM WDYM WDYM but i genuinely do not care i just said that ok and that i recommend it to her bc it is good.
and then i remembered that oH la la land also exists lmao and then she just beamed at me like OOOMG I LOVE LA LA LAND IT'S SO GOOD I LOVE IT SO MUCH aaaand then it was my turn to be like. oh i actually haven't seen that one yet lmao
and.
THEN SHE MADE A SCENE ABT IT. ALL HUFFING AND PUFFING WITH HER JAW ON THE FLOOR LIKE😱😱😱😱😱MICKEY THE MOVIE WATCHER HASN'T SEEN LA LA LAND WHAT IS THIS MADNESS HOW CAN THIS BE like can you be fucking serious lmao this made me so mad i would argue that whiplash is bigger than la la land but i didn't say anything abt you not having seen it but now here you are jumping in my face abt la la land............ HHHHHHHHHhh anyway yeah. i think everybody should be a little more calm abt what some ppl have seen and what they haven't thank you for coming to my ted talk hgasghdaghdghashdha
HAHAHHAAH PLSS I WANT THAT PULP FICTION POSTER TOOO that's so cool i would be the proudest film bro ever lmao
ALSO. HELLO. I ALSO PLAYED THE LEGO INDIANA JONES GAME😭😭😭 IT WAS MY FIRST FIRST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVED IT SO MUCH i think i still have it somewhere too lmao but yeah indiana jones is my childhood i love the films so much,, mmmmmm if i had to pick my favourite one though........................... finished bg3. overall, a phenomenal game. perhaps the greatest game i've ever played. but i do feel like the ending was a little weak. the final battle was really easy but that could just be because my character is op as fuck. but still, it was a lot of fun being able to call in all your allies and just slaughter enemies together.
maybe spoilers ahead
i saved the city because i'm a big goddamn hero but i really feel like i should have had more time with my companions. i think there should have been a whole epilogue or something. just you and your companions having a night of celebration or something. having some final conversations, reflecting on your journey together, and saying your goodbyes where appropriate. maybe something about how each of their lives play out after. and maybe some moment of remembrance for the companions that died or went their separate ways.
after the big battle i only had like 30 seconds to share a line or two of dialogue with a few my party members (not even all of them) and that's it. it feels rushed and out of character for a game that was otherwise full of emotional depth. like...i didn't even get to speak with karlach. me and all my companions were talking and then we were about to leave to celebrate and wyll was like "wait!! where's karlach!" or something like that and everyone looked panicked but then it just cut to another scene with me and shadowheart. never found out what happened with karlach. but i'm assuming she dies? lmao i don't know.
but it's also possible that i just missed something because the last part was pretty buggy and it seemed like it skipped over a couple cutscenes. i guess i'll have to go watch a youtube video to see the different endings.
anyway i hope they make a bunch of expansions. there is limitless potential for additional content. and obviously i'm looking forward to whatever sequel they eventually make. this game is really something special. i am definitely going to replay it. sometimes i see clips of other people's playthroughs and i'm realizing there is still so much shit that i missed out on. and i thought i was being thorough!
but yeah between the gale and the crown of karsus and karlach and zariel and the emperor and all of those other cities mentioned in the game and the portals in the house of hope and so on, there are lots of possibilities for expansions that i can imagine. i really would love to see more of avernus. the house of hope was maybe my favorite part of the game. really fascinating place. it reminded me of the haunted mansion ride at disneyland.
anyway, great game. amazing game. highly highly recommend to anyone who is into fantasy rpgs.

that's true, i just keep reminding myself that nothing last forever but i am a bit sad about the ending. do you normally go to an art museum? ah, i suppose life is full of surprises, you never know what is around the corner. that's great, it's better to see things as the cup half full than empty.
i think gi will still be the company's most successful game. do you just stick to PC games then? isn't hsr the only one whose have a voice for the MC? i'm always phone based so i'm lost with the letters lol. wait, you can play it in class? 👀
don't worry, quite a few people retake a year no matter what country they are in so you're not the only one and i understand retaking a year more than once can be a bit demotivating but you can get through this.
just try not to beat yourself up about it, you are trying your best. yes, extra time to re-evaluate some options, would you like to goes into the STEMs? or another field?
i can imagine lmao, some kpop fans are too extreme though where they end up becoming saesangs. which kpop group did she introduce you to? i am an ex-kpop fan so i no longer know about the current groups.
those earrings would stand out wherever you would go especially since they are gold coloured lol. i have actually seen some shorts on YouTube of users styling their wigs and it's look like a profession because of how hard it look 💀 i'm wondering you might find a 15th february person? who know lmao but birthday twin would be most exciting. our time zone difference seem to be one hour apart so we should be able to wish each other on our days? i'll probably come off anon when it happen 🙂
you can take another shirt that fit you properly and ask them to use the shirt for guidance or get proper measurements. i just scrolled up the sleeves for mine lol. it is only the sleeves and nothing too complex so i can't imagine it will be expensive.
yeah, of course. i feel the same whenever any of my friendships or relationships or whatever end bc at the end there was still a lot of love and care involved. i love going to art museums <3 i generally love art and museums lol. i visit a bunch of museums every year, usually with my father, my godmother or said friend i mentioned. so yeah ig i usually visit them?
agreed lol, i mean hi3rd was already big before genshin but genshin topped it off still. omg my phone literally only has 16gb of storage so i can’t play any games on there ajdkffjskaj meaning i very much stick to my laptop. hi3rd doesn’t have a mc the way gi/hsr do and kiana does have a voice plus gi’s mc is occasionally voiced (only during cutscenes i think?). the mc in hsr is definitley voiced a lot more tho. i mean... i shouldn’t be playing any video games in class..... but always work on our devices anyways....... and i’d much rather play hi3rd than do french in class... ajdkfjdjsk (i’m not a good example of a student ajdkgkksj)
aa ty :) i’m doing great in school rn bc it’s all topics i’ve had before at a different school haha and i hope it’ll stay like this for a while, but let’s see. i’m also in the process of getting meds for my adhd so hopefully i’ll be able to study easier sometime in the future. honestly idk what i wanna do later rn... psychology or biology, specifically marine biology maybe? i’d love to be a marine biologist, but i get sea sick :/ though at the moment i’m mostly leaning towards studying medicine so i can work in forensic medicine. but luckily i still have at least a year to decide.
yeah, the kpop fans... she mostly introduced me to stray kids. i’m not like a big kpop fan, but i do have a playlist with kpop songs i like bc of her lol.
aren’t they silver colored tho? i made mine in silver at least ajdkfkks. but yeah, agreed. yeah, wig styling does look difficult tbh 💀 but. i believe in myself. if i believe enough it’s got to work...
maybe, who knows. ohh no more anon z next february 16th :0 hehe, i’ll gladly wait until then :3
ahh i have no long-sleeved shirts that correctly fit me ajfjfjhsk the only ones i’ve got left are from when my parents made me buy them bc i dislike them and prefer oversized hoodies and stuff by a lot lol. thanks for the tip though

Nooooo I’m so sorry for upsetting you. If I had my way Davy would have fucked up Beckett and yeeted turner, swan, and jack off his ship
Tumblr media
Don't worry! I've got a solution to stop crying.
I believe right after Elizabeth Swann and the Empress crew arrive on the Flying Dutchman that all the events we next see is a dream sequence by somebody, probably a hungover Jack Sparrow.
So Norrington did his thing and let free the crew and Lizzie to escape to the Empress, however Davy Jones caught them and demanded what they were doing.
Lizzie and James convinces Davy to turn against Beckett and they think of a good plan. James and Lizzie escaped to the Empress and arrived at Shipwreck Cove. The movie then goes on normally except James does NOT die because he didn't deserve that death in the movie and he's present at the Brethren Court as he and Elizabeth tell everyone that Davy is on their side.
The scene goes like it does in the movie, with Elizabeth becoming Pirate King and them going to war and the parlay scene happens shortly after. Straight afterwards, Davy disappears off the Dutchman for a bit with Maccus informing Beckett that his captain is preparing himself for a battle. The lie seems to convince Beckett.
And Davy Jones teleports onto the Black Pearl and it turns out that he wants to release Calypso/Tia Dalma from her human bonds himself much to the surprise of literally everyone on board who hasn't managed to faint at the sight of him. Davy says the words and Calypso is released, just much calmer this time. She explodes into billions of crabs again and becomes the sea once more. Davy quickly returns to his ship right as Beckett and Mercer orders for the Dutchman to go forth and attack the Black Pearl.
Of course, in this part of the movie you're supposed to see Calypso's maelstrom however she's not as furious and enraged since Davy released her instead and provides a terrible storm full of rain and thunder and wind. The crew of the Dutchman decides now it's a perfect time to turn on the EITC soldiers on their ship. The crew of the Pearl see the struggle and decide to help get rid of the soldiers which they do and Will gets to be reunited with his dad who has partially some of his memories still intact and he recognises his son.
Davy and Maccus recover the chest and both the Black Pearl and the Flying Dutchman along with the pirate fleet turn to attack the EITC in one last intense battle that is the greatest you've ever seen. Cannons go flying, swords clash, pistols go shooting at people and the storm intenses each minute. Calypso summons a gigantic maelstrom and together, the Dutchman and the Pearl attack the Endevour. At some point, Jack Sparrow escapes the brig again and joins the final fight. The battle completes everybody's character arcs in the trilogy with no annoying and meaningless deaths. Of course, the EITC does go down and the Endeavour falls into the maelstrom and is destroyed. Some soldiers surrender to the pirates whilst others attempt to escape.
And the trilogy ends with Will getting his father back, Davy Jones not getting an undeserved death and going back to his ferryman duty whilst also fixing up things with Calypso slightly, Jack and Barbossa continuing to fight over the Pearl, and either Lizzie ending up either with James or Will.
Credits roll with the awesome POTC music that we all know and love.
But of course your way works too!!!!

How to 'Feel It Real'
I had a spiral when I wrote this in my journal. That would've been a few days ago I think, possibly last year. I started to overcomplicate the idea of feeling it real and wondered if I was vainly affirmation etc. Luckily, as soon as I commanded myself that I'd receive some guidance/help on this, I got 1) a lecture of Neville's on youtube (I don't search manifesting stuff on that acc so I wasn't prepped for that lmao) 2) a quote on my dash that really helped me see my way, 3) the same person I helped a long time ago reminding me of my own words back when I didn't keep a journal. and 4) @sexyandhedonistic taking the time to share how she approached it from her beginner stages as I had gone ahead and asked on her ask blog! Again, thank you Hera!
1. What is 'Feeling It Real'.
According to Neville; FEELING IT REAL is the acceptance of the desire fulfilled. It is a feeling of thankfulness that it is done. Once you accept that thankfulness, you persist in this & knowing it is done. That's it. So really, KNOWING IT REAL is what you should try doing as you could not feel thankful if you didn't know it was done.
“When I speak of feeling I do not mean emotion, but acceptance of the fact that the desire is fulfilled. Feeling grateful, fulfilled, or thankful, it is easy to say, “Thank You,” “Isn’t it wonderful!” or “It is finished.” When you get into the state of thankfulness, you can either awaken knowing it is done or fall asleep in the feeling of the wish fulfilled.” – Neville Goddard,
2. How do you accept the feeling?
Someone asked me this a long time ago, actually. I forgot all about it since they were just asking for my understanding of the 4D and the 3D. Of course, I didn't apply it and ended up losing it. Either way, I explained it like this:
“That adrenaline you feel when you first think of having something is the moment your 4D processed it and got it. The feeling tends to fizzle into something more 'default', and if left alone, your 3D produces it. But I've learned this process isn't automatic if you're not thinking like that. Your 4D accepts everything and gets it, but your conscious self in the 3D? You also have to accept what it is about to give you.” – golden,
Breaking this down, I'd say: To accept the feeling, you've got to consciously accept that your subconscious has already manifested it for you. Your subconscious mind answers yes to everything, but you are the filter.
Okay, that's great and all, but does that help with knowing, specifically, so that you can feel? Yes, it does, but first. You've got to look at why you don't know. Why it's hard for you to know. What are the invisible truths of this world that you don't see, ever, but you know? If there are things you've never gone up in a lab and see, but it makes sense to you: the problem isn't necessarily that you're a logical thinker. You're simply not giving yourself the approval to believe in what you're reading. Your limiting belief may be that it's too good to be true, or that people or even Neville, Florence, Joseph etc. are simply lying to make a few bucks off a few suckers. That is why you don't know.
And yet, you stay and consume, more and more because you want to believe. A desire is a reality waiting to be fulfilled. Stop trying to manifest, start reading what you SHOULD be reading (so many loa accs recommend again and again what to look for just search their blog seriously don't be that person) and give yourself the chance to believe, then APPLY.
3. How do you persist in the feeling?
As Neville said, you would look away from your current limits and put your attention chiefly on what you desire to have/be. In your imagination/attention, claim that thing which you desired as yours. This would not be all you do with yourself though, as you are now thinking from the end. I stg that link is very important. Use it.
For example: 1. So, now you've manifested your SP always answering your messages with what you want to see.
2. Instead of constantly seeing your message left on read, you would remind yourself that your SP always blows up your phone (however you like, visualise, affirm or whatever).
3. Now LET IT GO. You would not entertain any thought that challenges this (it's okay if you do but don't dwell on it, but let it go.) But you wouldn't hyperfixate on this itty bitty affirmation omg. Do you have any hobbies? Homework, plans to go out, exercise, go fucking live, please. (that came off aggressively but it's true, we often forget to live our beautiful lives. If you don't think your life isn't beautiful in ANY capacity, please work on your self-concept. Even if your life is shitty, the fact that you are changing and you know it will change for the better is BEAUTIFUL.)
One thing I like to do IF I'm visualizing is treat visualization like I'm bilocating, and try to feel all my imaginary senses, then go live out what I want until I'm satisfied. I also love listening to music, so I might have a playlist that deeply connects to what I want, kind of like a vision board, but auditory. I've got a self-concept on yt since I listen to a lot of mashups, when it's bigger I'll drop it.
4. Hera's tip.
I messaged her on her ask blog, and I told her: I struggle w vanity/belief because I feel like I'm 'outside' of my manifestation when I'm manifesting it. Kind of like an imposter or like I'm behind a glass wall and looking in. Even when it feels satisfying/good.
She responded with this: What really put it into perspective for me was both reading Neville and reading success stories. When I first started off, I struggled a lot with doubt and I often questioned whether the law was real or not because it felt too good to be true. Sometimes I felt just a tiny little bit phony and fraudulent because I had so many questions and had yet to spot the changes in my life.
My CURIOSITY and FAITH in the law felt a little risky at first but it’s what got me through. PERSISTENCE is key. I didn’t give up and I made sure to learn about the law of assumption every day. The more I read Neville and how he explained the principles of the law the more I understood and grew comfortable with it. It cleared up so many of my doubts and the success stories of his students reminded me that I, too, could do all of that and more.
I was also reading the success stories Angel was receiving daily from her followers which only motivated me more and more.
WHAT WORKED BEST FOR ME was to constantly immerse myself in Neville’s teachings daily because when I was inconsistent I tended to go back to square one and feel indifferent and not that powerful.
I've since started listening to Neville in the morning and reading success stories when I have free time. I've persisted in learning about the Law and I'm beginning to cultivate my belief so I can avoid this kind of spiral. It's honestly worked wonders for me and I've already manifested something I considered big when I first started doing this.
