You did it. You opened Pandora’s box.

Okay. So. A Deal With the Devil started out as one thing and is going to end up being VASTLY different. At the beginning of the year I set writing goals for myself and one of them was to write something unlike anything I’ve written before. Because I like to make things difficult for myself, I’ve decided to try my hand at writing a choose your own adventure story. Fair warning, I haven’t started planning all the choices yet, and this likely won’t be getting much of my attention just yet, so it’s still a ways away, but I’m excited just thinking about it and I hope it will come together like I want it to. Here’s a very brief rundown:

I’m adding a new character to my repertoire - the Thief

You’ll have the option to go a romantic route, a platonic route, or a villainous route

The Thief is NOT the Devil, nor is Reader

This story takes place in Hell

every time i ask people if they do any new years resolutions its all ooooo i dont like making them bc i fail or ohhhhh no i couldnt keep up wiht that and then when they ask me and i tell them about Pasta Quest (i am eating as many different pasta shapes as possible in the space of a year) or when i did Fruit Adventures (every time i saw a fruit i had never eaten before id get one and eat it and read the wikipedia article about it) theyre like hang on i forgot you can make Fun Ones i want a fun one

every time I see non Asians go by Asian names online I get whiplash bc I'm like o shit another one of me!! then I find out they are a white weeb from Arkansas going by Haru that can't name more than 3 countries in Asia

#ppl used to make fun of me for my ethnic name so now i go by a western one....#but now i guess ethnic names are cool again as long as ur not that ethnicity? we have come full circle #huge difference between cultural appreciation and surface level fetishization btw #this is specifically talking about those that dont actually respect asian culture & use it as an aesthetic or accessory

I'm not just cooking, i'm baking a whole ass CAKE

not 100% happy with the design but I wanted to get it out of my system, I went for darker and more muted colors for Zoro while still utilizing the usual elemnts of his outfit like the sash and the haramaki. also the color palette for the full outfit turned out very tasty, like it makes me think of chocolate and sweets. not sure about the use of haramaki though, I feel like it makes the proportions a bit awkward when everything else is dark, but it does make the shirt fold nicely so I may keep it in the end

now that I'm further into WCI I think I should add a suit version as well for the wedding bit hmmm

My idea for this is after coming to Big Mom's territory and fighting her commanders they get to the Germa carriage just like in canon. Zoro watches Sanji fight Luffy, restraining himself from interfering. He respects Luffy's decision to not fight Sanji back, but the moment Luffy gets knocked down it's Zoro's turn to try and bring the cook around and he's not gonna hold back

a very tense fight ensues
