How about Steve with a reader who already has a kid? Like they're in their twenties and she has maybe 2 or 3 year old. Her ex isn't in the picture so it's just her. Maybe the fic is Steve finally getting to meet readers son/ daughter. Maybe she has to leave their date earlier due to a babysitter problem and Steve just comes along with her and they spend the night together.
ty for requesting <3 mom!reader, 2k
“Try not to show fear,” you’re saying, your hand pulled tight against his. He savours the softness of it even as the concrete steps to your house force you apart.
“I’m not scared.”
“I’m just saying, Steve. Toddlers know when you’re scared.”
“But I’m not scared.” Steve has handled worse than toddlers. If your kid is anything like you, this will be a walk in the park.
You grin at him and give him one of your cute shrugs, though shyness he recognises from your first date stiffens your shoulders again as you open your front door.
Your home is small. The first thing he notices is the cramped space walking in, the tight stairs, but the second thing he notices is the amount of life, photographs that deck the walls and colour everywhere, clothes folded and waiting to be taken upstairs, little shoes in a stand by an open bathroom door.
“Melanie?” you call. “You okay?”
Melanie appears in the door with a huge watery frown, who Steve assumes to be your young son smiling on her hip, unperturbed. “I’m so sorry.”
She’d been incoherent on the phone, though eventually squeezed out that it was nothing wrong with Noah. Melanie’s boyfriend appears to have broken up with her over the phone.
You scoop Noah off of his babysitter's hip, holding him with far more ease. He drops his face with affection to the curve of your bare shoulder. It’s a shame you and Steve had to come home —you’re wearing the nicest dress he’s ever seen. But not a shame, because Steve’s excited to meet the baby.
You could’ve sent him home. He assumes this means some level of trust and, better, permanency. If all goes well, he might be able to ask you to go steady soon. He’d love to do it tonight.
“Don’t worry, Melanie, you can’t help it if something bad happens, can you? I’m really sorry about your boyfriend. Do you need me to drive you home?”
Melanie sniffles miserably. “No, that’s okay, I can drive. I’m sorry.”
You rub her arm. “It’s okay, really. We were just gonna have dinner and head home.”
Steve internalises his reaction to that tidbit well. Melanie gives him a sad smile and passes by, her shoes heavy and smacking as she leaves with a mumbled farewell.
“She’s a little emotional,” you say sympathetically, before turning your attention to the sleepy kid on your shoulder. “Sorry, Noah, guess you’re stuck with mommy and her new friend. Do you want to say hi?”
Noah lifts his head, following your hand where you point at Steve, a smile like yours on his lips.
Steve genuinely isn’t scared of kids, he loves them, and he loves talking to them. “Hi, buddy. It’s nice to meet you.”
You hum appreciatively. “Go on, say hi to Steve.”
“Hi,” Noah says quietly.
Your voice is different around the baby, not any less pretty but softer, and quieter. It has Steve lowering his own voice in an attempt to mimic you. “Hi, bud.”
“He’s my new best friend,” you explain, ushering Steve closer, your hand touching gently to his shoulder.
Noah’s even more your image now he’s closer, all your eyes and smile and brightness, but he’s got someone else’s nose, and he’s got a bad case of yawns. You laugh at his scrunched nose, wiping your thumb lightly over his bottom lip. “You want to go to bed, sweet boy?” you ask.
“No… buppy.”
“You want your buppy. Okay, I’ll get it for you.” You pull your arm through Steve’s. “Let’s go.”
He laughs and goes happily. Your kitchen is empty compared to the hallway, it’s surprising, but then you open a cabinet for the aforementioned bubby and a couple of things come tumbling out. “Whoops,” you say, popping Noah down on the floor. “Can you put those away for me, please? Thank you.”
Noah tries his best, but everything he puts in comes tumbling back out, earning a few high-pitched giggles. You crack the fridge open for a pint of cows milk.
“He doesn’t have formula?”
“No, you can give them whole milk after a year, but he doesn’t really need it anymore, it’s just to help him self-soothe at nighttime.”
“Mom, I can’t do it,” Noah laughs. Steve thinks that great, that laughing. He could’ve had a tantrum (Steve wouldn’t blame him).
Steve crouches down. “Can I help?”
Noah gives Steve a smile, eyes squinting nearly entirely shut. “Yes.”
“Okay, awesome. Looks like your mom needs more cabinets for all your stuff.” He starts to pick up the pieces.
“I need a whole new house,” you say, filling the bottle about three quarters before sticking it in your microwave uncapped. You set the timer for fifteen seconds and prop your chin in your hand, elbow on the counter. Steve thinks it’s your best angle yet, your dress, your arms, the friendly smile you’re wearing that hasn’t once ebbed since the first date. It all gets his chest in a twist.
He knows getting your baby to like him is make or break. And he really wants to give this a shot, you and him, you and Noah. He thinks you’d be good together. (Maybe he’s crazy and too forward, but you really are beautiful in your dress.)
“How’s that?” he asks, closing the cabinet behind a tower of bottles and baby bowls.
“Perfect! Good job, baby,” Noah says, tapping Steve on the knee.
Steve snorts. “Thank you.”
“He’s going through a phase of saying everything I say,” you explain, yanking open the microwave to test the milk on the back of your hand.
You deem the milk sufficiently warmed and offer Noah your hand, swiping a takeout menu from the fridge as you pass, and once again grabbing Steve by the arm to drag him along. He’s content to be dragged. You lead everyone into the living room, and he’s again surprised by how small it is.
You catch his look. “Are you judging me, Harrington?”
“What? No? Of course not.”
“Messing with you. There’s an extension out back, on the kitchen? That’s where I keep the rest of the toys.” You drop down onto the couch with a sigh. “Come here, babe, come cuddle with mommy.”
If Noah weren’t in earshot, Steve would make a joke about how he hopes you aren’t talking to him. It’s probably a good thing he doesn’t.
You lay back and Noah climbs up onto one side of you, his hands out ready for his bottle, while your arm stretches out for Steve. “Come ‘n’ sit.”
Steve sits knee to knee with you. He’s not scared of kids, and he isn’t scared of you, either. He knows exactly what he wants, and he isn’t afraid to let you know it, taking your hand where it lies open on your thigh.
“What were you gonna get?” you ask, nodding to the takeout menu.
“I don’t know, I’ll have what you’re having,” Steve says.
“What if you don’t like what I’m having?”
“I’ll learn.”
You tip your chin up at him, beaming. “Yeah? What if I like something completely unamerican?”
“I gotta learn sometime, right?” He squeezes your fingers nicely.
“Well, my Noah likes everything.” You kiss Noah’s forehead, stealing his attention from his bottle, bright eyes tracing your face and then your hand where Steve is rubbing the back of it.
“Then he can have some of everything.”
You and Steve share a loving smile. Smiles smiles smiles, everybody’s getting on, this is the best sixth date anyone’s ever had, best date full stop, though your fifth date was a close second. You and Steve had spent hours together in a park in the city eating picnic foods and soaking in the sun together, your nose brushing off of his ribs, his jacket balled up under your head. He’d kissed you twice that night when you finally, sorrily had to go home, and you’d said, Aw, I really like you, as you held hands on the stoop. He should’ve asked you then to give it a proper go, but now he’s met Noah he figures it’s as good a time as any.
“Hey,” Steve begins, clearing his throat, “would you–”
“Woh!” Noah shouts around the teet of his bottle. It falls from his lips. “We wiw hands,” he garbles, a bunch of baby flavoured gibberish as he leans over your stomach to cover your hand where it’s held in Steve’s. “Mom!”
“What, babe?”
“My hand!”
“You’re not jealous, are you?” you ask with a laugh.
“Mom!” he says, slapping your hands insistently with his own.
Steve loosens your fingers, leaving a gap between your palms. “Quick, bud, put your hand in.”
Noah climbs onto your leg and presses his hand into the fold, though he grows annoyed at the weird fit, and immediately starts to sniffle. Steve winces, but you’re used to it. “Aw, don’t start the waterworks. Come on, what happened to sharing? We’re good sharers.”
Steve lets go of your hand. He’s reluctant, sure, but he doesn’t wanna be on anyone’s bad side. Noah cries for a few seconds like he’s forgotten why he’s upset, but he sees your open palm and the cog finishes turning.
“Hold mommy’s hand,” you say, wiggling your fingers.
Noah thinks about it. He ends up on his side across your leg staring at you, then at Steve, who smiles at him cheerfully. “He’s so handsome,” Steve says. “He has your face. Guess that’s why you’re so handsome, huh?” He shakes his head at Noah gently. “‘Cos you got all your good looks from your mommy.”
“He knows what that means,” you preen, leaning down to speak closer to Noah’s ear. “Don’t you? You’re my handsome boy.”
Noah puts his hand in Steve’s with another tinkling laugh.
“Oh! I see how it is, you wanna be Steve’s friend too. Can’t let me have anything for myself, can you?”
“No,” Noah says cheekily.
Steve collects Noah’s little hand in his. “Good!” he says. “You should get everything you want, just like mom.”
“Think so?” you ask.
Steve nods.
You cover Noah’s eyes with your hand and move up to press a quick kiss to Steve’s lips. “Like you?” you ask.
Steve’s just stoked to have someone he likes actually like him back at the same level. Noah squirms away from your hand to squeeze Steve’s tighter. Two someones.
“Like me,” he says, grinning.
“Mommy, kiss!” Noah says urgently. “Kiss!”
You pull your gaze from Steve’s. “Sorry, I’m sorry! Come here, baby, I’ll give you a kiss too. I guess I’m gonna be giving double the kisses I used to, my poor chapped lips.” You kiss kiss kiss Noah across the forehead.
Steve flusters thinking about it, making a mental note to get you some chapstick. He’d go pretty crazy for a crown of kisses like that.

The day has been off since you all woke up. 9am and Jude was packing his bags. He dreaded these days; leaving you and your daughter for away games were always the hardest. Ever since she was a baby he hated leaving her, but now she was older and he hated it even more because she begs him to stay.
“phone, passport.. ok I got everything I need.” Jude sighed, turning to you. You were standing there, holding your daughter who was still very much sleepy. She knew it was time for Jude to go and she was starting to get cranky about it.
“Just need to say goodbye to my favorite girls.” Jude walked over to you two. He kissed you first , a couple on the lips and the cheek before turning to your daughter.
Her big brown eyes looked up at her daddy and her bottom lip pouted out. Her little breathing became uneven as she began to tear up. She knew he was about to leave. This made Jude heartbreak.
“no, don’t cry darling” Jude took her from you, kissing her cheek as her tiny cries filled the foyer.
You watched his face turn sad as she cried against him. No matter how many times he did this it never got easy seeing his baby girl cry.
“Daddy will be back home before you know it.” He rubbed her back. “I promise peanut.”
Jude placed a few more kisses on the toddlers head. He tried to pull her away from him, but she wasn’t happy about it. The room filled up with her screams as she tugged at his hoodie.
“No daddy no no.” she yelled out. Tears flowed from her eyes, but Jude held it together and handed the squirming baby back to you.
He muttered a few sorrys to her before painfully picking up his bags with a sigh. He walked over to the door looking back at the two of you. Your daughter was still crying, mumbling daddy stay into your chest.
You gave Jude a sad smile, muttering go before he ends up staying due to guilt. Jude didn’t waste any time, walking out the door.
--
Later in the day you were in the kitchen making lunch for you and your daughter. She had eventually calmed down and now she was in the living room playing quietly with her toys.
While you were mixing vegetables in the pan your phone rung. You looked down to see that Jude was calling you.
“hi.” You said. You sat the phone on the counter so he could see you as you continued mixing.
“hi darling. How is she?” Jude asked first before you could say anything. You smiled knowing his baby girl is his number one priority.
The sound of feet against the floor stopped you before you could say a word. You smiled turning to see your daughter standing there, looking at you with her big doe eyes.
“Come here, daddy’s calling.”
At the mention of her dad, she ran over to you letting you pick her up. Her eyes found the camera and she smiled.
“Hi darling.” Jude returned the smile your daughter gave him.
“She’s finally calm.” You looked at your daughter. Her eyes never left the phone screen. She’s without a doubt a daddy’s girl.
“Just a little bit more tears after you left then she tired herself out and fell asleep.”
Jude nodded. “ I’m sorry bubba. Daddy will be back soon and I’ll bring you back sometime. I promise.”
Your daughter nodded her little head. “otay.”
Jude blew her a kiss to which she returned with her little kiss you taught her how to do.
You let her back down and she waddled off back to the living to her toys. Happier than ever.
You turned back to your phone. “well I’m going to let you go. I heard time goes by faster when you’re busy.”
Jude nods. “ I’ll send you pictures of your little princess so you don’t get deprived of her..”
Jude laughed. You both bid your goodbyes to one another before Jude hung up the phone call.
-
The next three days flew by in a flash and Jude was on his way back. Your daughter was excited. She stood by the door waiting for his car to pull into the driveway.
Around 12pm you heard her squeals and a car pull into the driveway. Jude was home.
You walked over to the front door opening it to let Jude in. Instantly your daughter ran over to him hugging Jude’s legs. You smiled watching Jude pick her up and attack her with kisses making her giggle.
“I haven’t forgot about you.” Jude said to you when he was done giving your daughter all his attention. You walked over to him. He hugged you, kissing you deeply and passionately.
That was all ruined when your daughter pushed you away from Jude with a frown. Your family was back together and all was well.
--
Ok need some Jude smut ideas

Connected to this scenario request, here's a little part two! I might be making this into a small series, idk yet!
Law’s office door is rarely ever wide open. Everyone knows how it works, if the door is cracked just a bit he's welcoming anyone who wants to come in so long as they knock first. If it’s closed completely, you better keep walking, he doesn’t want to see or speak to anyone at that moment thank you very much. It hadn’t changed at all with the two, small additions to the crew in the form of Noa and Luna, though Law is less likely to get onto either of the children if they simply barge right in. They’re just kids, they don’t know all the rules of the ship yet, it’s only been about three weeks at this point since you brought them on accidentally.
It hasn’t been bad at all to have them around, they haven’t interrupted his work so Law is fine with the two kids staying aboard for the foreseeable future. Not like you, Bepo, or Ikkaku are going to let them go any time soon anyway. He has to admit he doesn’t mind how lively it’s become with them around. Despite being your responsibility, everyone has been helpful in getting the five-year-old and nearly two-year-old settled, even helping at night when Luna becomes fussy or Noa has a nightmare.
Law doesn’t realize how much he actually enjoys having them aboard until one day when the Polar Tang makes it’s way into much colder waters, he’s first one up as always and has his coat on quickly, stopping long enough in your shared bedroom to throw an extra blanket over you and the two children asleep in your bed, you’ve got to stay warm too. For once he’s glad this office is so close to his room, less of a walk in the chilly hallway though he stops Clione, who is just coming off night watch, to turn up the heat so no one complains they’re freezing to death. He’s barely done any work when he hears his office door open, expecting a ‘good morning captain’ from whoever it was, but he never hears anything, instead being slightly startled when something grabs onto his leg and starts burying it’s face in his coat.
“…good morning, Luna-ya.”
The toddler looks up at Law, a sleepy grin on her little face which makes him smile softly at her. She’s very good at slipping into his office and nearly giving him a heart attack, since she doesn’t talk yet she’s quiet enough to sneak into various places. Her favorite place to slip into being his office because she just adores Law, he doesn’t get why but won’t argue it.
It really makes him think of Lami when she smiles at him.
“Uh! Uhh!!” Luna lifts her chubby arms up and grabs at Law, making him nod as he sets down the book he was holding. “Uh!!”
“I know, I know. You want up.”
She’s so small and light, Law has zero problems lifting her up, Luna gives a little squeal of delight before she hugs him around the neck. Law has rarely thought about you two having kids, but has constantly pushed it away because he’s just not sure about it. Having Noa and Luna around has been more than enough right now, they’re helping him see if you might be able to handle having kids of your own, but for now, this is fine.
Once Luna catches sight of the book he’s been reading, her eyes light up and she starts to point at the pictures of the next island you’ll be docking at.
“That’s where we’re going next. You think it’s pretty?”
“Ooo…”
Luna’s little ooo’s and aah’s at the pictures makes Law smile while he flips through the book for her. He’s watched you read through picture books with her and Noa, Luna loved to stop you and stare at the pictures, the colors make her happy and she has nearly torn a page out multiple times, but you’ve been able to stop her. Law hasn’t told you about the few times she’s slipped into his office and he’s stopped everything to read her a book she’s brought to him, only because of his original insistence about not having them aboard. He still doesn’t think it’s the safest place for them, but it has to be safer than where they were living at that point.
Luna keeps making little sounds and grabbing at the pages of the book, especially when she sees the flowers, Law tries to explain to her what each one is but she’s not really interested in that. She just likes looking at the pictures and seeing the pretty colors.
“This is a park there, it’s nothing but flowers,” Law points at a picture while Luna ‘aah’s at all the flowers on the page, “We can take you and your brother there. You can see all the flowers in person.”
While she doesn’t respond with a word, Luna nods a little before yawning and rubbing her eyes, laying her head on Law’s chest. It’s way too early for her to be awake, he realizes, as she sticks her thumb in her mouth while he adjusts so her head is against his shoulder. Closing the book, Law is quiet while he takes Luna over to the couch in his office, laying across it and covering her with a small blanket he has.
“You go back to sleep, all right? When [Y/N]-ya gets up, she’ll come get you for breakfast.”
She’s asleep so quickly he doesn’t notice at first, not until she starts drooling on his coat. Ah well, it’ll wash later, for now he’ll let her stay comfortable and safe, even when he dozes off on his own.
You do find them a little while later, Noa by your side and feeling relieved when you find where Luna had snuck off to. You’re glad Law has come to accept having Noa and Luna on board, it’s like you two have your own little family now and all the help in the world with the rest of the crew.
This is more than you could’ve ever asked for.

୨♡୧ THE MAN WHO HUNG THE MOON — sakusa kiyoomi x reader. sfw. fluff. dad!sakusa.
Tumblr media
the sound of sleepy giggles from down the hall makes a smile tug at the corner of your lips. as you pick up the toys scattered about the living room, you picture the scene; your daughter comfy under her blanket and sakusa squeezed into the toddler bed beside her with a book of her choice in his hands. he’s probably changing his voice with each character just the way she likes, tickling her tummy every time she laughs so that the joyous sound is prolonged. little moments like these, ones that warrant you a glimpse into their daddy-daughter time never fail to make your heart swell.
the noise from the back dies down a few minutes later and the quiet click of a door closing tells you that your husband has finished putting the girl to bed. you’re almost finished cleaning up the toys left behind in the living when sakusa wraps his arms around you from behind, pressing a soft kiss to your temple. he doesn’t give you time to savor the feel of him before he’s gone, leaning down to aid you in tidying up.
you shoot him a petulant look that he can’t see as you reach down to pick up the doll by your feet. you have every intention of tossing it in the bin with the rest of your daughter’s things but before you can, you realize that you don’t recognize it. your eyebrows knit together in confusion as you meet sakusa at the toy bin. “when did you get her this?”
“a few days ago,” he replies upon seeing it. in all honesty, he had meant to put the doll away before you returned home. now that the cat is out of the bag, he might as well be entirely transparent. “and i actually got it for me.”
“like, got it for you so the two of you could play together?” you eye him curiously with your question. you’re sure that’s what he meant but, without context, the statement produces an entertaining image in your head of the man playing with toys even in the absence of your daughter.
“not really,” sakusa admits, and he can see a sparkle of interest swimming in your gaze. the real reasoning behind the purchase is nothing to be embarrassed about but he still hesitates to spit it out. he’d hoped that you would see the result before you could ask about the process.
“sakura told me she likes the way you put her hair in two braids so i bought the doll to practice.” he turns the doll in your hands so that you can see what he’s taken away from the youtube tutorials in the past few days. it’s a lot better than his first attempt but sakusa thinks he could use a few more sessions to hone the skill before surprising sakura with the style.
you survey his work on the synthetic hair. it’s not bad by any means. the braids are a little loose, but you can clearly see all of the effort he’s put in. you glance up to meet his onyx gaze and offer him a smile. “you’re cute. but why didn’t you just ask me? i would have been more than happy to teach you.”
the thought had passed sakusa’s mind when the girl had first told him that she preferred the way you did her hair but he had convinced himself that the task was something he could easily do on his own. it’s not that he feels like he’s above asking for help, though, he does feel like you’re busy enough with work of your own. the last thing he wanted to do was worry you with this—something he should be entirely capable of.
“you already have so much on your plate, i thought i could take care of this on my own.” sakusa takes the doll from your hands and places it with the rest of the toys in the wooden chest before closing it.
it’s hard to believe that this is the same man that expressed doubts about whether or not he’d be a good dad before your daughter arrived. every day since then, he’s proven that his anxieties about being a parent were misplaced. sakura looks at him with stars in her eyes, like he’s the very person that hung the moon—a lot like you’re looking at him now.
you interlace your fingers with his slim ones, giving his hands a comforting squeeze as you boost yourself up on the tips of your toes to press your lips against his in a soft kiss. his breath is minty, likely from brushing his teeth with sakura not too long ago. you pull away with a smile, bumping the tip of your nose against his before returning to your normal height. “she’s going to love when you do her hair.”

Scarred Love - Chapter Eight: Do You Wanna Know?
a/n: Took a long bit of writer's block, but I got it done!
Word count: 1,359
Cw: Ghoap x f!reader, soulmates, Simon's family, small mention of murder, a bit of angst with comfort(Tell me if I missed any)
Ch1, Ch2, Ch3, Ch4, Ch5, Ch6, Ch7, Ch8 ~ Masterlist
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You laugh at Simon’s chiding. Your friends might be a bit over-the-top sometimes, but you still love them and their protectiveness of you.
“So, uh, when will I be meeting your guys’ parents?” You say as a way to try and bring the conversation back to what it was originally, “We’re already here in England, so why wait?”
“Well… You were given two papers right?” Johnny Questions.
“Yeap, one for England and one for Scotland. Figured I'd at least meet whoever's parents that are in England while I'm here.”
Simon looks away for a second, “... My Ma's no longer with us…” You see the sadness in his eyes and the sympathy given from Johnny.
“Could I still visit her? Let her know her boy's in a second set of good hands?”
“That's a good idea, Luv.”
Some of Simon's sadness disappeared and is replaced by something softer, something sweeter.
~The next day~
You've been riding in Simon's car for two hours now. It's an older car, one with a full row of seating in the front seat. You're seated in between Simon and Johnny. You half expected both men to place a hand on your thigh during the ride, but to your surprise they've both been really respectful to you, unlike men in the past. The radio is softly playing and you think you hear Take On Me by a-ha playing and Johnny humming to it.
Johnny taps you on the knee to get your attention.
“Lass, we’ve got about another two hours before we get to the ferry, if ye want ye can take a wee nap.”
“Got it.”
You nod and lean in closer to him, your side closer pressed into his. Johnny’s quiet humming is quite relaxing, the reverberations of his voice against your side makes you somewhat sleepy. You don’t think you’ve fallen asleep, but you’re awoken by a gentle hand on your shoulder lightly shaking you awake.
“C’mon Luv, wake up, we’re here.”
Simon’s voice, gruff, opposite of his touch, wakes you up.
“Hm?” You hum as you rub your eyes.
Once you’re fully awake, you grab the flowers you wanted to bring and your other items that you need. Johnny offers to hold the flowers for you, but you decline. You hold the flowers in one hand, and the other hand, well more like your pinky on that hand, is being held by Simon. You can tell it means a lot to him.
You go on a nice hike up the mountain, to a beautiful clearing, bare except for a singular tree in the middle and some flowers in the grass. Under the tree are four gravestones, the tallest one says “Liliana Riley, Loving wife and mother.”, the next on says “Tomas “Tommy” Riley, loving son, husband, father and brother.”, the one next to it says “Beth Riley, loving wife and mother.”, the last one has small picture of toddler on it and says “Joseph Riley, loving son and grandson.”.
“S'my mom, brother, sister-in-law, and nephew.”
Your heart breaks for Simon. His whole family is here, but gone. You hug Simon, the raw emotion flooding off the two of you. Simon wraps both his arms around you, its gentle yet strong; like he doesn't want to hurt you, but thinks you're going to get taken away from him.
It feels like forever goes by before the hug ends. When it does the two of you walk over to where Johnny has already set down the blanket you guys brought in front of the tree and graves. You divide the flowers and set some on each of the graves. Johnny places a little toy car on Joseph's grave, there's already around three there, it must be a tradition. You look at the dates on the gravestones, all on the same day.
The realization that they were most likely murdered saddens you even more. Tears prick at your waterline, threatening to spill over, to betray the calm facade you wanted to portray today. Your hands instinctively search for Johnny and Simon's, you grasp their hands in yours, not wanting to let go.
“S'okay Bonnie,” Johnny coos at you, “I wasn't much calmer.”
You lean into Simon and the hand that was holding yours wraps around your shoulders and pulls you closer to him. You want to ask what exactly happened to all of them, but you don’t. You leave it to him to tell you. The three of you spend a while just enjoying the slight breeze and quietness of the mountain top.
“I bet yer Ma’s happy tha ye brought us both, Si.” Simon nods in response to Johnny's comment.
~Simon’s POV~
I’m nervous. So, so nervous. Not even Johnny was this quick to ask to see my family, but then again he knew me before we knew we were soulmates. It took a while before I offered for him to ‘meet’ them. But now I’m driving to the ferry to let her meet them. It’s nerve-wracking, it truly is. What will she think when she sees the graves? Sees the date on the graves? Will she ask why my father isn’t there too?
I’m barely pulled from my thoughts when Johnny tells her to take a nap for the rest of the drive. I get fully pulled from them when I hear Johnny call for me.
“Si. Simon? Hon? Luv? Honey-boo-boo-bear?”
“Don’t call me that.” I say in annoyance, hating the overly sickly sweet way he said it just to annoy me.
“Whatcha thinking abou’?”
“I know he’s worried, I’ve been silent, more silent than usual, “Nothin’ hun.”
He clicks his tongue, “It’s not nothin’. Yer bein’ deadly silent over there. The only time you’re like that is if yer lost in yer own thoughts. So, what’s weighin’ on ye Si?”
I sigh knowing I can’t win when he’s onto me, “I’m just worried s’all.” I say as I reach for my pack of cigarettes.
Johnny’s hand stops me.
“Two things; We dinnae ken if she’s okay wit cigarettes, and just tell me, dinnae keep it do yourself.”
I groan and stop my movements of reaching for the cigarettes.
“Just what I thought when I brought you ta meet them, ya know? The date on the graves, the graves themselves, the absence of my father’s grave.”
“Oh Si.” He says as he reaches over and grabs my hand before placing a soft kiss on it, “If she asks, ye can answer or say yer not ready to, I’m sure she’d understand.”
She probably would. I think she would. I hope she does. Johnny’s made me at least somewhat calm.
~A bit later~
She’s still asleep… I should wake her up. I decide to wake her up by gently placing my hand on her shoulder and lightly shaking her awake.
“C’mon Luv, wake up, we’re here.”
My voice, a bit gruff, opposite of my touch, wakes her up.
“Hm?” She hums as she rubs her eyes.
She grabs the flowers she brought for them and we head to the ferry. The whole time I want to hold her hand, but we haven’t discussed boundaries yet, maybe just holding part of her hand will be okay. I link my pinkie in hers. I can feel her jolt in surprise, did I make a mistake? Then I feel her relax and curl her pinkie around mine… thank god.
Once we get there she looks over the scenery… And the gravestones. After a minute or two, she turns around and faces me, there are… Tears in her eyes? What surprises me more than the tears is when she hugs me; it’s tight, and warm… And needed. So, so needed. I hug her back, just as tightly, but a bit gentler so as not to accidentally hurt her; one arm around her waist, and the other holding her head. I look at Johnny and he gives me a sweet smile and a thumbs up as he sets down the blanket, once the two of us are done hugging, we sit on the blanket and I explain a small bit to her, all the while she hasn’t let go of my hand.
Maybe everything will be alright.

Not So Berry (Straud Descendants) Gen 9
Today's (9/5/2024) Episode: Dinner and Dancing
At the reception Luigi kept his drone recording as everyone gathered to enjoy the seafood feast he’d helped prepare earlier that afternoon.
Bonnie, who was flying solo as usual, was seated across from Noemi. Now that she understood the bride’s own social struggles, she was willing to admit “Leroy’s “demanding job” isn’t really the reason he never comes to these things. He’s socially awkward, and crowds make him anxious.”
“I totally get it.” Noemi sympathized, “I’ve come to accept this zoo…” she waved to indicate the crowded table “as “part of the package” with Lu’s close knit family, but its awesome you’re willing to let Leroy enjoy his solitude.” She leaned in closer. “I’m a little jealous, I wish I was home right now too.”
Lu himself was happily telling Grandpa Don “PrimSim gave us a bonus for our little Harvestfest collab, no doubt due to your expert lead…”
Don held up a hand to stop Luigi from making the offer he knew was coming “That’s great! You can consider it an extra wedding present.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In lieu of dessert champagne was poured and both sims of honor rose to give a toast.
Amaya went first “At the last wedding Luigi and I attended I told him I never wanted to see him again. Then I stumbled into friendship with his pretty momma as we were both learning to be better mommas to our incoming bundles of joy. Ain’t life strange? You did good hot stuff – but if you let my girl down you best believe I’ll be the one kicking your butt!”
Denton followed up with “Luigi and I got off to a bit of a rough start…” “To be fair,” Luigi hollered back to the crowds delight, “we WERE toddlers…”
“… but we grew up to have a lot in common.” his cousin continued with a smile. “Noemi, much as we both love him, it’s clear that he doesn’t quite deserve you. We’re all so very glad you eventually agreed to marry him anyway!” Luigi nodded happily, leaning over to give his wife a quick kiss.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bellies full and hearts light everyone made their way to the dance floor after dinner.
For their first dance the newlyweds had picked an upbeat funky tune. The pair shimmied onto the floor and proceeded to boogie down, performing an adorable duet to the quirky retro love song they both felt perfectly captured the essence of their story and their love for one another.
🎶For so long, You and me been findin' each other for so long… I want you layin' in the love I have to bring, I'd do anything to be your everything🎶
When their song finished the pair invited everyone to join them and “get this dance party started!”.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Luigi of course was in his element, but Noemi surprised herself by how much fun she was having.
Surrounded by the large crowd of family and friends she’d come to know so well, on one of the happiest days of her life, she felt nothing but joy as she swayed in time to the music.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
All good things must come to an end, and as Luigi and Noemi’s party ended, he was approached by Professor Silva.
“Care to autograph this for me? I’d love to hang it on the “wall of fame” in my office”. His old advisor handed over a headshot from Luigi’s days as co-captain of Foxbury’s E-Sports team. As Luigi worked, he added “I was sorry to hear about your Carpel Tunnel, but glad you’re taking it seriously.”
Luigi, remembering that his coach’s own stress injury had kept him from going pro, nodded. “Thanks. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s given me a chance to put those leadership skills you taught me to good use.” He handed back the picture and promised to check up on the professor’s current team soon.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Once their guests had all departed Luigi snuggled Noemi close “So, wife of mine… man I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of saying that… I know that both of us are “seldom sleepy” these days. You up to have a little more fun before bed?”
“Absolutely” she replied “After all, it’s a rare treat not to have anyone but ourselves to worry about. Carpe Diem!”
Luigi laughed “well OK then, let’s go!”

Concept: Druski and PG babysitting the triplets
Requested by: @sebbybucky12 💖
It was around 11 at night when you and Jack tried to quietly come into the house thinking that the triplets were asleep, but was taken aback to see all three of them sitting on the couch quietly and watching Transformers the cartoon.
“Why are you three still up?” Jack asked as Ivy came over to hug his legs and he promptly reached down to pick her up.
“We’re not sleepy and we wanted to wait for you to come back.” She answered and you were looking around for PG and Druski since they were nowhere to be found.
“Um, where are your uncles?” You asked and that was when you heard a muffled scream coming from the kitchen and the triplets did not get a chance to answer you.
“Jack…. Did you hear that?” You said as you turned to him and he simply nodded.
“Babies…. What did you do?” You crossed your arms as you looked at all three of them and they did nothing but smile back at you.
“Nothing mommy.”
Jack put Ivy down and you both walked into the kitchen to see Druski, 2fo, and Ace tied up and Druski had make-up all over his face while Urban was nowhere to be found.
“I-.... so you mean to tell me that yall couldn’t handle THREE toddlers?” You said while looking at the three of them and they all immediately rolled their eyes.
All Jack was doing was laughing before he took a picture with his phone and began to untie them.
“Got damn, how the hell did they learn how to tie knots this tight? And where did they get this rope from?!” Jack asked while attempting to untie Ace while you took the duck tape off of Druski’s mouth.
“WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YALL KIDS? I NOD OFF FOR FIVE MINUTES AND THE NEXT THING I KNOW I’M TIED TO A CHAIR WITH TAPE OVER MY MOUTH!”
“At least they gave you a makeover.” You answered while shrugging and all Druski did was glare at you.
“They are their mother’s children so that should tell you everything that you need to know.” Jack muttered but you quickly looked at him and gave him the evil eye.
“Jackman, I will tie you up next. Don’t start with me.”
“Shit, you can tie me up any day of the week. Once we put them to sleep, I’m all yours.” He quickly said while wiggling his eyebrows and you rolled your eyes at him.
“Yall need to watch your own kids from now on because issa no for me dawg.” Ace said and then all of you suddenly heard Ivy’s voice.
“All we wanted to do was play cops and robbers!  And we put the criminals in jail!”
“And you left us in the dark with no food and no water.” 2fo said and you knew that would be his first complaint.
“If this was jail, you would have already had your last meal of the day. Me and uncle Urby were watching one of his jail shows.” Axel added and all you did was shake your head and stifle a laugh.
“Where is Urban by the way?” Jack asked while looking around and all of you heard banging on the pantry door.
“Oh lord.”
You went over to move the chair from in front of it and out tumbled Urban.
“Umm, you okay there bestie?” You inquired and all he did was shake his head.
“AM I OKAY?! ARE YOU REALLY ASKING IF I’M OKAY?!”
“No need to yell Uncle Urby. But did you die?” Axel asked and you couldn’t help but start laughing all over again.
“Mommy, we had to put him in jail for not following the rules.” Autumn said and you and Jack could not stop laughing.
“Not yall putting yall godfather in solitary confinement.”
“Oh, and daddy I forgot that I found these, but we can use them next time.” Ivy was holding up a pair of you and Jack’s fuzzy purple handcuffs and his eyes went wide and he immediately took them from her.
“Um, Ivy I’ll take those.”
“You three upstairs now. It’s time to go to sleep.”

Disneyland DILF
Summary: While on a family vacation to Disneyland, Elide discovers her husband Lorcan has been featured on the viral Instagram page ‘DILFS of Disneyland.’
When he claims not to know what a DILF is, Elide decides the best way she can explain it to him is to demonstrate what the F stands for.
Tumblr media
For the wonderful and amazing and talented @headcanonheadcase! I've been teasing this Lorcan DILF fic for a while, so thanks for being patient with me! Thank you for being so kind and supportive, and I hope you enjoy!

“Come on Jack, look over here! Look at Mommy! Come on baby, just give me one good photo!”
Whoever coined the idiom “herding cats” to describe an impossible task should have instead used something like, “getting your toddler to look at a camera for more than one second for a halfway decent picture.” The latter, Elide decided, conveyed more of the frustrating nuance that people were bound to face, even if it was a bit too lengthy of a phrase. Who even had enough cats to herd anyways?
“Lorcan, can you stop distracting him for one minute, please? I really wanna get a picture of Jack with Pluto. And can you fix his hair?”
Her husband stopped whispering whatever he was saying to their son. He looked up at Elide with a frown.
“I’m not distracting him - I’m just telling him how better dressed he is than every other kid here.”
“Well, maybe don’t do that,” she cringed, as a middle aged woman wearing a pair of Mickey Mouse ears with a gaggle of similarly dressed children behind her shot Lorcan and Elide a dirty look.
“And I think his hair looks good like this,” Lorcan went on, slightly tussling his son’s dark hair. “It looks effortlessly messy and windswept. Classic.” Jack agreed, as he grinned and clapped his pudgy little hands at his father’s compliments.
“He’s two,” Elide deadpanned. “He’s not going to be on the cover of Baby Vogue.”
Lorcan hummed. “Is that a thing? It should be, and Jack should be on the cover -“
She sighed; she knew when she lost her battles with her husband, rare that it happened. “One, two, three -“
Quick as a snake, Lorcan turned himself and Jack towards Elide’s phone and gave their biggest grins for the picture: Lorcan’s a small uptick of the corners of his mouth, his long, dark hair swaying in the warm breeze, while Jack grinned toothily at the camera.
“Oh, that actually turned out pretty good,” Elide said, slowly walking over to show the picture to Lorcan. “And Plutos is in the background, so I guess that technically counts.”
“Pluto’s the dog, right?” Lorcan asked, settling Jack back in his stroller.
Elide looked at her husband exasperatedly. “Yes, Pluto’s the dog. I still don’t understand how you know so little about Disney. It’s like you grew up under a rock.”
Lorcan shrugged as they set off at a slow pace down Disneyland’s broad Main Street and into the heart of the park. “Growing up in an orphanage and joining the military at 18 doesn’t exactly lend itself to having a pop culture filled childhood.”
“Disney transcends pop culture,” Elide muttered distractedly, pulling up the Disneyland app on her smartphone. “I know I should have quizzed you on everything Disney, or at least made you memorize the map of this place.”
“Where are we off to next?” he asked, looking over her shoulder at the map pulled up on her phone.
“Where aren’t we going? Big day planned. Jack loves Tigger so I want to head over to the Critter Country area so he can meet him and get some pictures together. I think we’d all like the Jungle Cruise - can you double check I packed the noise canceling headphones? - watch the parade, hang around in Toontown, depending on how Jack is doing, then end the day by visiting Sleepy Beauty’s castle. That’s been on my to do list since I was a little girl.”
Lorcan arched an eyebrow. “Is this Disneyland vacation for him or you?”
Elide pursed her lips. “It’s for all of us, you giant twerp. But what do you want to do? I’ll hang back with him if you want to go on rides or visit the Star Wars area.”
“I don’t need to do anything other than be with you two. Just keep me fed and I’ll go wherever you tell me.”
Elide grinned. “Smart man. How about we head over to Adventureland for the Jungle Cruise? I think he’d like the animals.”
“Lead on,” Lorcan said, wheeling Jack’s stroller around and following Elide further into the park.
The Jungle Cruise was a hit. Lorcan strapped Jack into his front-facing toddler carrier and held him the entire time, making sure his headphones were on and pointing out the different animals they saw, to Jack’s delight. Elide should have spent the ride taking in the sights around her - this Disneyland trip was truthfully perhaps more for her than for their son - but she couldn’t help but let her gaze linger on Lorcan.
Devilishly handsome didn’t seem like it did her husband justice. Nearly seven feet tall, with shiny shoulder length dark hair, a perfectly symmetrical face, and rippling muscles that didn’t seem real, Elide knew Lorcan was a catch.
But what she adored even more about him was his personality: his quiet, understated humor, how loyal he was, his bravery, and his unending support for everything Elide put her mind to. He carried her weight  - sometimes literally - when her disability became too much for her and she struggled to walk even with her ankle brace on.
Best of all, he was an excellent father. Before Jack had been born, he’d confessed to Elide that he was scared that he didn’t know how to be a good dad and he’d do something to traumatically mess up Jack’s life. She didn’t believe that for a second; she had full faith in him, and told him that repeatedly. The first time Lorcan held Jack after he was born was the closest Elide had ever seen him to crying.
And now here he was, willingly walking around the capitalistic hell that was Disneyland, all so his wife and son could have a picture perfect day. What a lucky woman she was.
“I think he really enjoyed that,” Lorcan commented after they collected their stroller from the front of the ride. He decided to keep wearing Jack in his front-facing carrier - “He’ll be able to see things better that way,” he reasoned - and Elide wasn’t going to complain, especially since seeing Lorcan carry their kid around sent odd little flutters throughout her body.
“He did,” Elide cooed, re-fastening Jack’s little velcro shoes so he wouldn’t kick them off. “I got a good picture of him looking at elephants.”
“Good thing he didn’t seem to realize what the lions were doing to that zebra.”
Elide shuddered. “Yeah, maybe some parts of this ride aren’t the best for babies and toddlers.”
“Where to next?” Lorcan asked. “Try to find Tigger and then lunch?”
“Sounds like a plan,” Elide said, kissing Jack’s cheek and squeezing Lorcan’s hand. “Want me to take the stroller?”
“You navigate, I’ll steer.”
She quickly learned Disneyland was much larger than the little map on her phone made it look. By the time they found Tigger and took dozens of pictures of an excited Jack with his favorite character, and let him burn some energy on a Winnie the Pooh playground, Elide’s ankle throbbed with every footstep she took. She hobbled to a sitting bench and watched Jack go down a slide before running back up to go down again and again.
“How are you doing?” Lorcan questioned, sitting down next to her on the bench.
“I may have underestimated how much walking we were going to do today,” she admitted, leaning down to rub her ankle.
“Want your brace?”
She grimaced. “Maybe not right now. I’ll try to wait until after lunch. Speaking of, I think Jack’s getting hungry and tired - want to see if we can find somewhere to sit out of the sun?”
They found a shaded and relatively quiet restaurant in the New Orleans area, and Elide sat at the table and put on her ankle brace, waiting for their food, as Lorcan walked around with Jack in the picturesque square outside the restaurant. She watched them contentedly as Jack toddled over a short railing into a flower bed and stuck his entire head into a bunch of flowers. Rather than pull him out, Lorcan crouched down next to him and started pointing out different flowers to Jack.
Sighing happily, she took a sip of her mocktail and closed her eyes, leaning back in her chair. Besides her ankle, the day was going perfectly.
“Mama! Mama!”
She opened her eyes. Lorcan was walking towards her with Jack on his hip, a bunch of bright flowers, dirty roots and all, dangling from his fat fist.
“He was very interested in the flowers, and I told him how much you like flowers too,” Lorcan said, putting Jack in a high chair as he thrust the flowers at Elide.
“Oh Jack, these are perfect,” Elide gasped, fighting the tears that had welled in her eyes and taking the bright arrangement from her son. She leaned down to kiss Jack on a chubby cheek. “Thank you so much baby.”
“Seems I’m gonna have to do better the next time I give you flowers,” Lorcan grumbled. “Not sure how I’m gonna compete with a fresh Disney bouquet.”
“I’m surprised no one came and shooed you away,” Elide noted, wrapping the bottom of the flowers in a napkin and tucking them in the stroller.
“Oh, someone did,” Lorcan confirmed nonchalantly. “Especially when Jack tossed a bunch of tulips on the ground. They didn’t seem to like us damaging park property, or something.”
“Lorcan!” Elide admonished. “You didn’t make someone miserable over some flowers, did you?”
No, I just stood up and I guess they thought better about trying to yell at me. Besides, it’d be well worth making anyone miserable if it made you happy.”
“Aw. That is so sweet and threatening.”
He winked and gave her a small smile. “Anything for you.”
They took their time with lunch and by the time they finished, Jack had fallen asleep in his stroller. Deciding to let him sleep, they staked out a shaded bit of lawn and sat down to watch the parade from a distance. Full of energy when he woke up, they leisurely made their way over to Toontown and got in line for the steam train ride.
“I can take him for a bit,” Elide suggested, picking a bench in the back of the train so Lorcan wouldn’t block anyone out. “You’ve been handling him a lot today.”
“I got him,” Lorcan said, sitting Jack on his lap. “You just sit and relax.”
Her husband had apparently designated himself as being on ‘Jack Duty’ all day, as he refused to let Elide even push his stroller or hold him, besides whenever she thrust her phone at Lorcan and asked him to take pictures.
“Is that safe, Lorcan?” Elide asked nervously after they had gotten off the train. Her husband had just thrown Jack onto his shoulders, giving him the best view in the entire park.
“Course,” Lorcan grunted, holding onto their son’s legs, his arms flexing as they walked towards Goofy’s Playhouse. “Just want to make sure he can see everything. He loves people watching, just like his mom.”
They set Jack down and he immediately ran into the bright, cartoon style house.
“He’s gonna sleep so well tonight,” Elide sighed happily.
“And we won’t?” Lorcan countered, an eyebrow raised.
“Good point. I’m glad tomorrow is a lazy day at the beach.”
By the time they dragged Jack away nearly an hour later, even he had come to the conclusion that he was ready to leave. Burying his face in Lorcan’s shoulder, he didn’t seem to mind stopping at Sleeping Beauty’s castle. Elide didn’t have the energy to go up and explore any of the winding passages and staircases, but Lorcan still took her picture everywhere she could go in the castle, juggling her phone in one hand and their near-sleeping son in the other.
“You could have put him in the stroller,” Elide said as they made their way back to their car, double and triple checking that they hadn’t lost anything in the park.
“That’s alright. Didn’t want to risk waking him up.”
Dinner was some fast food they picked up on the way back to their Airbnb. Jack picked at his food and didn’t fight them as they gave him a quick bath and Lorcan got him settled for bed in the small second bedroom of the condo. Elide showered and stepped into the master bedroom to find Lorcan laying on the bed reading a book.
“Did he go down pretty easy?” she asked, drying her hair.
“Oh yeah. Only made it a few more pages into The Hobbit before he passed out.”
“God, same kid,” Elide groaned, throwing on her pajamas and crawling into bed next to Lorcan, grabbing her phone and looking through the several hundred photos she and Lorcan had managed to snap that day.
Opening Instagram, she scrolled through her friend’s recent posts and videos - Aelin and Rowan celebrating their wedding anniversary, Manon’s rescue bulldog Abraxos officially completing training to become a therapy dog, and some professional pictures of Yrene, Chaol and their daughter - before she noticed a ‘Suggested for You’ account:
dilfs_of_disneyland
Elide snorted and scrolled away. How stupid and niche. It was probably filled with a few blurry creepshots of men at Disneyland, or a PR stunt of some kind for a movie or TV show or podcast. No, thank you. Elide had standards. She scrolled away.
On the other hand, she was on vacation; her standards could take a break. She scrolled back up and clicked on the account and was brought to a professional looking Instagram page:
DILFS of Disneyland: Welcome to the Happiest place on Instagram!
Apparently the account wasn’t niche at all - it had over 400,000 followers, and more than 1,200 posts, all featuring pictures of handsome men with babies and toddlers at Disneyland. Elide was stunned, scrolling through post after post after post of men with their kids at Disneyland, doing frankly normal things - pushing strollers, posing for pictures, eating ice cream and churros with their kids - but there was something… else, something more she couldn’t quite put her finger on that made these men extra appealing.
Not that she would ever admit this to Lorcan. Snorting, she scrolled back to the top of the page when she noticed a new post from today with an all too familiar face:
“WOW 😍😍 A DILF to beat all DILFS! Taking Tall, Dark and Handsome to a new DILF-y level!! #hotdads #dilfsofdisneyland #dilfalert #strollermeat”
There was her husband, in all his DILF-y glory from throughout the day: Lorcan walking with Jack strapped to his chest, Lorcan pushing Jack in his stroller, and even one from late in the day when Jack sat on Lorcan’s shoulders. Elide had to give it to the photographer on that one - his arms and chest looked absolutely ripped in the photo.
And the internet agreed. The post had only been up for a few hours and already amassed several hundred likes and over one hundred comments, all from women - and some men - going feral for Lorcan.
“Call the fire department, cuz I’m about to climb that DILF like a tree and get stuck”
“Hello Daddy😏😘”
“God bless this Disney DILF🙏🏻🙏🏻”
Elide couldn’t help but chuckle. She maybe should be concerned that someone had been stalking her husband at Disneyland but as she looked through the many comments bemoaning how hot and unavailable Lorcan was, she didn’t feel any anger for the people drooling over her husband. Her chuckle morphed into a full laugh, until Elide was snorting in laughter.
“What are you laughing at?”
Lorcan was staring at her, his brow furrowed.
“Your greatest fear has come true,” Elide gasped out.
Lorcan sat up. “Rowan got some stupid award he can rub in my face?”
“No, you’re internet famous. Kind of.”
“What?” he snapped, rolling on his side to try to look at her phone. “What happened?”
“It’s nothing bad,” she said, working to contain her laughter. “The internet says you’re a DILF.”
Lorcan stared at her blankly. “A what?”
“A DILF. You know,” she repeated, waving her hand like that would explain the acronym.
"What’s a DILF?”
Elide sat up on her elbows. “Wait, really? You don’t know what a DILF is?” She narrowed her eyes and cocked her head at Lorcan, studying him for any of his lying tells.
“Really. What’s it mean?”
“You’re thirty-four!” Elide exclaimed. “How do you not know what a DILF is?”
“Well, I’m not glued to my phone twenty-four seven -”
“Because your old flip phone doesn't have internet and you only have three people’s phone numbers.”
“Just tell me what it means,” Lorcan grumbled, pouting.
Elide snickered. “It means ‘dad I’d like to fuck.’ There’s an Instagram page devoted to dads in Disneyland, and you’re proving very popular.” She handed her phone to Lorcan and watched him read through the myriad of comments left on his pictures.
“Huh. That’s… interesting.”
Elide shrugged. “Maybe a little odd, but they don’t mean any harm by it. Just people admiring how hot and good of a dad you are.”
“And being a dad… makes me more attractive to women?”
“Oh definitely. There have been times when you’ve been so good with Jack I jumped you when we put him down for a nap. And seeing you today, holding Jack, playing with him…” she trailed off, biting her lip and sweeping her eyes down his body.
“Really? That gets you going?”
“Maybe,” she purred, crawling over to him and swinging her leg over him so she sat on his lap, “I could put on a demonstration of the ‘F’ in DILF, if you still need convincing.”
He grinned, trailing his big hands up her slim thighs. “I’ve always been more of a hands-on learner. That might help it… sink in.”
“Maybe if you’re lucky, that won’t be the only thing you’ll be sinking into,” she murmured, leaning down to capture Lorcan’s lips against hers.
Lorcan’s warm hands grasped the sides of her head to keep her still as their tongues met. Elide sighed with pleasure. She could spend all night just kissing her husband, feeling his large body flex and shift underneath her, his hands trailing soft caresses down her body. His fingers dove beneath her sleep shorts. She was already wet. She gasped as his fingers trailed up and down her slit before plunging a thick finger inside her.
“Guess you weren’t kidding about getting turned on by me being a DILF,” Lorcan mumbled against her, nipping her bottom lip.
Groaning, she rolled off him and threw herself off the bed, tugging her clothes off. “Well, hop to it,” she breathed, laughing softly as Lorcan fumbled to get his pants and shirt off.
She took a moment to stare at his body: a strong chest covered with a smattering of dark hair that formed a dark line below his belly button, thick thighs that could crush a person to death if he needed to. And his cock. Thick, long, and perfectly proportional to his big body and which looked obscene next to Elide’s petite form.
Lorcan lay on the bed, absentmindedly stroking his cock as he looked Elide up and down. “Dad you’d like to fuck, hm?” He murmured. “How about I get you warmed up for a fucking?”
Elide shivered. “What do you have in mind?”
“I like the idea of… sinking into you.” He grinned lazily, and her belly tightened with anticipation. “Get on.”
He grabbed a small bottle of lube and coated his thick length liberally. She climbed on top of Lorcan and gasped as he spun her around and settled her over his cock, her knees bracketing his hips as she faced away from his face, towards his long legs and feet. She turned around to look at him.
“Just wanna feel you around me,” he remarked. Grabbing his cock, he pulled her down, letting her take him within her at her own pace.
Elide moaned. Even after all this time, she still needed to take him slowly, let him stretch out her inner walls. The lube helped immensely. She swirled her hips, taking an inch before withdrawing and taking another, then another, then another, Lorcan’s deep groans egging her on. Finally she sunk down fully against his body. She started to raise herself on her knees to start that intimate rhythm they both knew so well when Lorcan’s hands gripped her hips.
“Hold on,” he said, not letting her move. “Now that you’re here, I wanna enjoy this.”
“Were you not having fun before?” Elide gasped, feeling him twitch inside her.
“Oh, I was and still am,” he said, caressing her hips. “Just come back down and lean forward a bit - yeah, just like that.”
Elide blushed as she leaned forward over Lorcan’s body, grabbing his knees for leverage. She felt exposed and open as Lorcan hummed appreciatively, rubbing his hand over one of her ass cheeks.
“You take me so well,” he murmured. “I think this is a nice interlude before I fuck you. Just wanna feel you warming my cock.”
She craned her neck and gave him an annoyed look. This is not at all what she thought he meant by ‘warming her up.’ “And what about me?”
Lorcan raised an eyebrow. “I was under the impression that we ended up here because you get so turned on just by me being a good dad. Don’t I have a say in how I want to be fucked?”
“Well, I guess, but -“
“Then just sit there nice and pretty on my cock,” he soothed. “Don’t move though, just stay still.”
“Lorcan,” Elide squirmed against him. “I need -“
“Don’t worry, I’ll fuck you full in a bit,” he said distractedly, and Elide knew he felt her cunt clench around his cock ar his words. “I just wanna finish this chapter -“
She tsked. “Really?”
“Yeah,” he said, reaching for his book with one hand and rubbing her back with the other. “Just a few minutes.”
Elide sighed and turned her head back towards Lorcan’s legs, forcing herself to relax. She considered herself fairly adventurous in bed, and her and Lorcan had a very open and healthy sex life, but this was one thing they hadn’t tried yet. Elide didn’t see the appeal in cockwarming, but actually experiencing it, well…
Lorcan subtly shifted his hips and she felt his cock somewhere in her stomach. Cursing, she gripped his knees and made herself stay still. This wasn’t how she thought this would go. When she initially climbed on his lap she thought she’d suck him for a bit then ride him, or maybe bend herself over the bed so he could pound into her from behind.
But here she was, hypersensitive and aware of every little movement and touch from Lorcan, only a few breaths away from breaking and begging him to do something.
Which is probably why he did this. Jerk.
“I can hear you thinking.” She refused to turn around to look at him but she could hear the smirk in his voice.
“Just thinking how I actually wanted to fuck my husband, not stare at a wall with his cock stuffed in me,” she sniffed.
Lorcan laughed. “Ok, Ok, I get it. You’re lucky I’m done with my chapter.”
She whined as he lifted her off his length. She felt horribly cold and empty until he flipped her around on her back and kneeled in between her legs.
“That wasn’t even five minutes, just so you know,” Lorcan said, stroking his slick cock and glancing down to her red pussy.
“Bullshit,” she gasped as her husband gripped her thighs and hauled her towards him so her legs were resting over his hips. “Felt like an hour.”
He hummed. “I should fuck you for an hour, so you have a frame of reference next time we do this.” He laid a wide spread hand on her stomach and moved his hand up her torso.
“What a perfect little wife you are,” he whispered. Elide gulped; his hand covered nearly her entire chest, and his fingers graced the hollow of her throat.
“Please,” she gasped, licking her lips and shifting her hips to graze his cock.
“So tiny, but like you were made for me.” He looked down to where they were almost joined. His cock jutted obscenely out over her stomach.
“Is this what you imagined?” He asked, dragging the head of his cock over her clit before settling at her entrance. “When you told me that I’m a DILF, and how excited that makes you?”
Elide couldn’t answer, her eyes darting between Lorcan’s dark gaze and his thick cock so close to where she wanted him.
He squeezed her thighs. “Well?”
“Yes,” she said in a broken whisper. “Yes, I imagined you fucking me so hard -“
Lorcan pushed into her in one hard stroke and Elide lost her train of thought. Lost every thought she’d ever had, honestly, as Lorcan gripped her waist and set a hard pace.
Elide grabbed Lorcan’s forearms as he pounded into her, needing to feel even more of his warm body and to keep herself from moving around the bed with the power of his thrusts. She threw her head back at a particularly rough thrust.
“Fuck Lorcan,” she groaned, aware that she couldn’t be as loud as she wanted with Jack in the room next door.
“God, you’re always so tight,” he grunted out, wrapping his arms around her thighs and hauling her lower half off the bed and further into his lap, letting him thrust even deeper inside her. “Feel so good. Is this hard enough for you?”
“Yes!” Her orgasm inched closer and closer. She reached down and started circling her clit rapidly. If he kept fucking her just like this, and she kept touching herself…
“I wonder how turned on you’d get if we had another,” he said, staring down at her intently. “You wouldn’t be able to keep your hands off me, would you?”
Lorcan didn’t get an answer as Elide came, squeezing her eyes shut and biting her lip to keep herself quiet. Warmth spread throughout her body as her orgasm traveled along her nerves, lighting her up from the inside. She was vaguely aware of a muffled groan above her and more warmth between her legs as Lorcan came.
He dropped her limp legs and bracketed his arms next to Elide’s head, careful not to crush her as he gave her a gentle kiss before rolling beside her. They lay in blissful silence for a few moments, each focusing on slowing their erratic breathing, when Lorcan let out a huff of air, then another, until he started chuckling.
“DILFs of Disneyland. How many likes did the post have?”
“Hm?” Elide mumbled, halfway to falling asleep.
“Were there a lot of comments on my post? I only saw about a dozen.”
“A lot of… what?”
“Any chance you can check your phone?”
She propped herself on one elbow to stare at Lorcan, brows furrowed. “What? You don’t know anything about Instagram or how it works.”
Lorcan rolled his eyes. “Of course I know how Instagram works. I browse it every now and then.”
“How? Your phone doesn’t have any apps!”
“The desktop.”
“Your old desktop computer?” Elide asked, flabbergasted. “I didn’t realize that thing still worked. And whose accounts are you looking at?”
“Yours, obviously.”
Oh. “Lorcan,” Elide said, grinning softly. “That’s so sweet -“
“And the DILFs of Disneyland page.”
The grin vanished from her face. “What.”
“Yeah, Rowan showed it to me when I told him we were coming here, and he said he and Aelin and their girl are planning a trip later this year. I bet him I could not only get featured on the DILFs of Disneyland Instagram account, but also get more likes than him if he manages to get featured too.”
Elide stared at her smug husband, slack jawed. “So the entire day you insisted on holding and wheeling Jack around -“
“Was because I wanted to spend time with him and so your ankle wouldn’t get sore and we’d have to leave early,” he said gently, bringing her down to lay on his chest. “But if it also meant there were lots of opportunities for me to look hot as hell while holding Jack, then that was nice too.”
“You self centered ass,” Elide said, lightly smacking his shoulder as Lorcan laughed. Elide couldn’t help but join in, shaking her head all the while.
“Well, what did you two idiots bet on?”
“Bragging rights and the loser has to get a shirt for the winner proclaiming them the official DILF of Disneyland.”
“If you somehow win, that will be a bedroom shirt only,” Elide warned.
“Definitely not. I’m gonna wear it around all the time. Get fucked, Rowan.”
“Then you’ll be the one to explain to Jack what a DILF is.”
“This is great,” Lorcan said, pointedly ignoring Elide. “As soon as we get back, I’m gonna email him my DILF pictures -“
“God, you’re such an old man,” Elide laughed, throwing herself dramatically on the bed next to him. “Living up to the reputation of dads being terrible with technology.”
“I make up for it in other ways, don’t I?” he breathed against her neck, his lips trailing past her collarbone and breasts and stomach and then even lower.
“Oh! Yes, I suppose you do have your strengths,” Elide mused breathlessly as Lorcan settled his head between her thighs.
Unfortunately for Elide, Lorcan received his DILF of Disneyland shirt from Rowan, and he gloated insufferably. Fortunately for her, though, Lorcan made sure to show his wife how he became a DILF, and she couldn’t walk straight for two days.
She had to give it to them: the DILFs of Disneyland account really was the happiest place on Instagram.

Bucky's Girls
Tumblr media
Summary: It would take a lot for Bucky to ever make the choice to go back to Hydra. That’s why Bucky didn’t even hesitate to drop his weapons now. Given that one of the Hydra goons has his daughter’s arm wrapped in his grasp. The grip was so tight that the arm was already turning white underneath. It took everything in Bucky not to attack the man with everything he had. One thing that Bucky promised himself when Delilah was born was that he’d never let her anywhere near Hydra,  but it seems he had failed that now…
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x reader
<><><>
It started off as a pretty nice day, Bucky and I got to lay in bed longer than usual which led to many sleepy kisses and cuddles before our daughter’s voice dragged the two of us out of bed. It was the weekend and we both had promised to take her to the beach for the day. The summer was almost over, so I was trying to get in as much beach time as possible. Neither Bucky nor Delilah complained though as they liked being there almost just as much.
Once the process of packing the car was complete, it didn’t take long before we were hitting the road. The road-trip mostly consisted of Disney songs and frequent bathroom breaks, but even still we had managed to claim a parking spot and set up base camp pretty quickly.
Flopping down into my beach chair, my gaze is drawn to the view of my husband stripping off his shirt before grabbing the sunscreen and plopping in front of me. Even though we had been married for almost ten years now, Bucky could still turn me into a blushing virgin in seconds. Turning with a knowing smirk, he lets me lather him up before beginning to help our girl with her life vest. Although Delilah protests some, she is pretty well behaved when it comes to her father.
While he is doing that, I take a moment to grab some of the pool toys and inflatables I had brought. I had brought a lounge chair floaty and two tires. One for the child and one for the adult child I’d married.
Once Buck was done snapping up straps, he volunteered to go get the rest of the stuff while I helped set up the blanket and umbrella. I managed to only topple it twice before the crooked thing finally stuck, and with that the spot was officially done. With a triumph plop, I decide to take a short snack break.
By the time Bucky returned, I had put quite a dent in the chip supply already. I helped Bucky with the cooler and chairs before deciding to strip down to my one piece. I hadn’t quite lost the post-baby pooch, but Bucky didn’t seem to mind as he strode up to wrap his arms around my waist.
“Hey hot mama, you single?” he whispers, trying to sound like one of those dudes at the bars. It only succeeds in making me snort before I’m pushing him to sit down next to me on the blanket.
“Deli!” I give a shout to draw in the little girl already digging for seashells. She looks up with the cutest baby face and searching eyes. Bucky and I beckon her over, as at this point Bucky had already spotted the phone in my hand flipped over to camera mode, and she begins to run towards us. This is a normal tradition for family outings: Always get a few pictures before you start doing anything. That lesson was learned from our first zoo trip where 2 out of the 3 people had a bad hair day (and let’s just say only one of them was female).
Successfully, I wrangled my toddler into my lap before pulling Bucky closer into frame as I grab his left hand and pull our wedding rings into view. At this point, it was like second nature for Buck to rest the conjoined hands on Delilah’s stomach and try to give a gentle smile. Though most of his smiles always look a little frightening no matter what. Delilah flops back a bit as I extend my phone out in front of me. I don’t know how many pictures I took, but it was enough to make an Instagram model jealous. The only thing to get me to stop is the whining of my toddler and subsequently her father.
“Okay, okay, you guys can go now!” I shout, shooing them away with my hands before going back to look over all the photos. Only about half of them are in focus, and out of that half only a handful of them have all of us smiling. As I swipe left and right trying to pick out the best one, I notice the same figure in the background, but it seems he was getting closer. I spin around quickly, more than a little freaked out, but the figure seems to have left. I’ve been hanging out with the team too much, they have me jumping at my own shadow. I stand up, brushing sand from many areas on my body, before heading over towards Bucky. Him and Delilah had stopped having a water fight and were now trying to race each other from Deli’s tire floaty to Bucky’s, but the wind seemed to be making the race a bit harder for them both. I notice the exhausted look on their faces and call out to them,
“Hey guys, why don’t y’all come over and get something to drink!” I shout, placing my hands around my mouth to be heard over the rowdy surf. Bucky hears me easily with his supersoldier ears, and nabs up Deli before she can protest much,
“But i was gonna beat you that time” she pouts throwing her arms up and almost smacking Bucky in the face as he carried her to shore. He gives her a quick yeah sure before he gets distracted by the cooler full of sugary drinks. He grabs out a beer for himself (and a water after a hard look form his wife) while grabbing Deli’s water/gatorade drink mix. He turns to ask you what you would like but you cut him off first,
“I don’t want anything, hun. I’m just going to run to the bathroom really quick, and then when I get back, I’ll come out there with you guys.” Delilah gives a happy shout while Bucky looks hesitant to let you leave alone.
“Do you want us to come with you? We can browse the shops while we wait,” he suggests going to stand up.
“No,” I sit him back down “someone has to stay and watch our stuff, plus it will only be a few minutes, I’m fine” I reassure him and with two forehead kisses and one really long non-forehead kiss, I’m heading across the beach towards the small bathrooms they have connected to the market area.

can you tell us more about grandpa semi PLEASE
I’m so glad you asked, anon.
Well, to be fair, I can't think of Semi apart from his family, so forgive me if it won’t be exclusively about him.
His dynamic with Gaster reminds me a lot of Bert and Ernie (With Semi being more of a Bert). In general he comes off a bit rude, has a bad habit of mumbling and grumbling, which is exactly why Gaster calls him “Grandpa”.
I think, if the underground has such positions, Semi would totally be a sheriff or a gumshoe of sorts. If not - he probably resides in some saloon that was there before Grillby’s came around, mostly attending the bar.
Semi has a strong love for little tinkers from the surface. He especially loves neon signs, of course, none of the signs that ended up in Waterfall are working..
He falls relatively early, I don't think Paps was more than a toddler. was it the illness or was it a human - up to debate.
When i first doodled him, i thought that Semi and Gaster met after the kids were already in the picture, with the first one separating from the previous relationship. And after Semi’s death Gaster would take them under his wing.  But nah, i’ve decide that making some other lady skeleton just to ditch her would be boring and cruel, so instead i now think Gaster and Semi are both biological fathers. (They’re all made out of magic, we don’t need to logic our way through this one)
All of the family are the dorkiest idiots you’ve met. Don’t let the exterior fool you.
Semi is not an exception, he absolutely loves using the kids as ragdolls, not in a cruel way, just making little jokes to make Gaster laugh after a long day at work.
Gaster frequently takes kids to work. Usually just Paps, since he’s younger and he doesn’t fully believe a nanny can take care of him. But leaves Sans at  home with a babysitter just fine. After Semi falls through, he starts taking both of them, beginning his never ending bring your kids to work day.  Papyrus still gets quite sleepy whenever he’s in a lab visiting Alphys.
I totally did not make Semi into a sheriff because i misread "serif" too many times.
Things i haven't posted... as a treat for getting me to talk about my old man yaoi couple pftppft

Picture Rook after a hardcore tiring hunting session! His eyes barely open, slow blinking, just a sleepy little smile, and slightly nodding because his head is so heavy! He notices everything still, but he feels calm around you so he relaxes quite a bit, and allows himself to show how tired he is. He hums and fully closes his eyes if you brush his hair out, and tries to cuddle while you help clean him up and pick the twigs out of his hair. It’s cute, but you can’t get the sticks and leaves out if he shoves his head into your shoulder! He does grabby hands if you tuck him in but don’t join. His sleepy pout and grabby hands reminds EVERYONE of a toddler! It’s so cute! He snuggles close to you, and does a small huff of satisfaction and is out like a light. This is one of the few times he won’t keep track of how long he sleeps and sleeps deep! He’s a bit freaked out honestly, but calms down when he realizes he slept so well not from exhaustion but because he fully trusts you to not only not attack him, but to even protect him!
My heart is full! (I got fell asleep on by Old Man at work today, and my heart is bursting and soft!!!)
JSHUDWUFUUWISU@+-#$77#72-$62-#;2+2717$-#JAHUZJQHSWHSUWUSUXYHWEHDHSH;3+$+$+$ MY FACE IS SO WARM PLEASE IM GIGGLING KICKING MY FEET.
god rook experience affection and safety for the first place in his lover's arms is my favorite genre of rook..it would take time until he got fully used to the feeling of not being on edge al the time because you're around, for you, sleeping in someone's shoulder is normal, but to rook it means so much and is just so personal, he honestly gets flustered thinking about it, about how you tamed and calmed his heart, he hopes he'll still be by your side when you two grow old and wrinkly, he couldn't imagine being himself with anyone else

Day Seventeen: "Leave Me Alone."
Trigger Warnings:  Implied/referenced murder, kidnapping, Wiliam being delusional, childhood trauma, and severe abandonment issues.
Set in the FNAF movie universe.
--
William considered himself a fairly patient man. Co-owning a diner geared towards children and families tested it daily.
It had taken weeks of watching and waiting, but he’s sure now is the right time to move.
William gets out of his car. The house is dark, all the lights seem to be off. He opens the front door, slinking quietly into the house.
It’s a mess.
He spots his ex-wife slumped over at the kitchen table, head resting on a pile of papers. From here, William recognizes the familiar picture of the boy he kidnapped and murdered not four months previous.
Inwardly, he smiles.
Turning his head, William sees the person he’s here for.
Michael is asleep, curled up on the couch. He mutters in his sleep - a habit he’s had since early childhood. William’s heart aches suddenly. It’s been a long time since he’s been able to lay eyes on his son. Nearly a decade in fact.
Without thinking any further, William scoops his son up. He’s bigger now. No longer a tiny toddler, but still surprisingly light.
Michael murmurs in his sleep, shifting closer to his dad’s chest. Something like pride wells up in William’s chest. Even after all these years, his son still recognizes him.
He leaves the way he came, making sure to sneer at his ex-wife as he does so. Stupid bitch thought she could take what was his. The memory of coming home to an empty house still burns.
But….William got her back, ten-fold.
He places Michael in the passenger seat, buckling him in, and covering him with a blanket from the backseat.
William starts the drive back to Utah. He still has a business to run, and he’s sure his son would like being back home. Nebraska just doesn’t have the same feel as Hurricane.
-x-x-x-
Mike wakes up to the sound of the radio playing classic rock. Something his mom hates. Says it hurts her ears. Dad also isn’t fond of it, choosing to play softer sounding music instead. The only person who likes it even a little bit is him, and he only listens to it through his walkman.
Groggily, he reaches up towards his head, trying to feel for his headphones. Maybe he fell asleep with them on. It wouldn’t be the first time, but it is kind of amazing his walkman hasn’t shut off yet.
Next to him, someone snickers. A larger hand ruffles his hair. “Goodmorning, sleepy head,” a man says.
Mike tenses. Slowly, he looks at the man. He’s tall, taller than Mike’s mom or dad. Glasses sit perched on his nose, and he wears a button up-shirt and slacks.
Mike’s heart starts to race. Memories come racing back to him. Things that he forgot following his brother’s kidnapping. Things that he needed to remember, but couldn’t while being interrogated by the police.
He screams….
…and screams…
…and-
The car is jerked roughly onto the side of the road. A hand slaps itself over his mouth, cutting him off.
Mike’s heart beats wildly against his ribcage.
“What the hell is your problem?” The man asks, sternly.
He makes a noise behind the hand, but it comes out muffled. The man lets his mouth go, but there’s a warning look in his eyes. As if he wants Mike to try something.
“You…you’re the man. The one that took….” he trails off, unable to say the words. In a tinier voice, Mike asks, “are you here to kill me?” In no way does he want to die, but if it means being with his brother again, then Mike would be okay with that. The last few months have been hell on all of them. And he misses his little brother terribly.
The man looks at him, an unreadable expression on his face. “Why would I kill my son,” he says simply.
His blood runs cold. “Your son…? No, sorry….I’m not-”
A fury flashes in the man’s eyes. He grabs Mike by the shoulder roughly. “Yes. You are.” He shakes him a little. “Don’t pretend you’re not.”
Mike shakes his head. “No, I have a dad.”
The man lets him go, settling back in his seat. He laughs. “You do, huh?”
A little freaked out, Mike nods. “Yeah.”
“Your dad,” the man starts, “isn’t going to save you now.”
The car starts up again, but Mike’s too shocked to say anything. Because the man sounds so sure of himself, like he’s planned everything out from start-to-end. And it makes sense. If he stole Garrett….then what hope does Mike have of being found?
He stares at the door. Maybe he can-
“Don’t even think about it,” the man says in a monotone voice, his eyes still firmly on the road.
Mike spends the rest of the drive, looking out the window. When they stop, he tells himself, he’ll escape then. Or if they pass by a police car, Mike can wave them down.
But both of those things never happen.
-x-x-x-
William pulls into the driveway. He parks the car, looking expectantly at his son. Maybe seeing the house will jog Michael’s memories. He doesn’t blame his son, of course, for not remembering him. His ex-wife probably did a great job of erasing him from their pasts. And the guy she ended up re-married to, likely replaced any remaining memories Michael had of him.
Still, the fact that he was replaced at all, hurts.
Michael looks at him, not a hint of recognition in his big brown eyes. Eyes that used to look up at him with nothing but unconditional love.
William sighs. “Guess not, “ he mutters under his breath. He gets out of the car, going over to Michael’s side. The minute the door opens, his son tries to make a break for it. But William catches him instantly.
He’s carted inside, screaming all the way.
Thankfully, no one’s outside. And even if they were, none of them were likely to help Michael. They would just chalk his screaming up to a kid having a tantrum.
He carries Michael, kicking and screaming, all the way to his old bedroom. Everything is still the same, minus the bed (which he recently bought in expectation that his son would be home soon), and the lack of windows (which he boarded up to stop his son from being able to escape).
As carefully as he can-given that his son is trying to bite him-William places Michael down on the floor. “There,” he says. “Home at last.”
Michael looks up at him-not with any form of fondness or love-but with anger and fear and….disgust.
“Leave me alone. This isn’t my home,” he snaps, getting to his feet. “I want to go home!”
Chuckling, William pats his son’s fluffy curls. “But you are home, and,” the expression on his face darkens, his hand tightens its hold on Michael’s hair, “no one is ever going to take you away from me again.”

Next Door Neighbour | Bucky Barnes x Y/N
Logline: It was a simple arrangement, he thought - two people with nightmares agreeing to sleep next each other. But little did he know her secrets were darker than night itself.
Masterlist
Part - 2
Tumblr media
He once again readjusted the sleeve of his T-shirt and gloves before knocking at her door. Seconds later the door clicked open. He had finally made the call after two nights.
“You came,” she exclaimed, opening it wide for him to enter. He was supposed to be here two hours earlier. She had almost given up hope ten minutes ago when the clock struck eleven.
“Yeah. I was having cold feet.” he nervously scratched the back of his neck. She smiled, shook her head, and bolted the door. “Considering and reconsidering.”
“I’m glad you came.”
She led him through the narrow hallway. He could hear the soft noise of the TV from the first room on their right.
The living room was similar to his. Except the couch looked more comfortable than his, two bookshelves flanked the window opening to the side yard and a few pictures hung on the right wall. The TV was playing the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
“You’ve got a beautiful place,” he commented, settling on the armchair across from her.
“Thank you.” She turned down the volume. “What do you usually do before going to bed?”
“Sometimes I watch TV, other times maybe read a book.”
Y/n nodded, fiddling with the hem of her white dress. This was much more awkward than she had imagined. “Would you like some wine? Or beer?”
“Uh, thank you. Anything would be nice. I’ll have what you have.”
She nodded once again. And disappeared into the hall.
Bucky exhaled and looked around the lightly lit room. He focused on the pictures hanging in front of him - the first one was of a man standing on a bridge, the second one of Y/N from her graduation ceremony, the third one of a toddler and the last one again of the man and Y/n together standing beside a creek in the forest.
Y/n returned with two beer bottles.
“How long have you lived here?” he asked before taking his first sip.
“About 6 years. I came here three months before the blip.”
“Is that your husband?”
She glanced at the photos. He couldn’t exactly say her emotions but they were similar on the line of longing and regret. The longing was similar to the one he had seen in Steve’s eyes. “Ex-husband,” she replied, taking another sip. “We separated ten years ago.”
“I’m sorry. But you don’t strike me that old.”
“No, I guess I’m not,” she chucked. “I turned thirty-two last summer. I had been with Adam since I was fourteen. He was sort of my guardian after my parents died. I loved him, we got married and three years later he wanted to leave.” She gave him a sad smile. “Enough about me, tell me about you.”
He blinked. He didn’t know what to say about him. He could certainly not tell her that he was over a hundred years old. Had assassinated over two dozen people. Was a brainwashed super soldier. No, none of that could be revealed to her. “What do you want to know about me?”
“Anything,” she said. “Where did you grow up? What’s your job like? Your life partners, if any? And so on.”
“I grew up in Brooklyn.” He took a sip as his mind went haywire trying to intricate truth with lies. “I joined the army. Was in Russia and Germany between the missions-”
“Mommy,” a half-sleepy voice interrupted him. He let out a breath of relief at the God-sent angel. Both of them looked towards the boy standing near the door of the living room.
“Oh, baby,” Y/n whispered and rushed to him. “You had a bad dream again?” She crouched in front of him, running her fingers through his messy hair.
He shook his head, “Just got up,” and looked over her shoulder. “Is that daddy?” he asked, looking at the strange figure.
“No, love. That’s Uncle James from next door.” The boy examined him once again. “Shall we get you back to bed?” He nodded.
Picking him up in her arms, Y/n turned back, “Would you like to come up?”
“Sure,” he replied, following them.

pls discuss tillies au
OMGGGGGGGG beloved au. for the general public who has not seen our dms skdjskdhskjd basically katrina gorry is a matilda (australian women’s national team player). she also has the most ADORABLEEEEE daughter in the WORLD like please look up harper gorry. she announced their roster once and i nearly passed away from adorability. she mimics her mom so she signs little autographs…… literally baby of all time. cont under the cut
the timeline for HER is like. 2021: have IVF baby bc covid means soccer/football is completely on hold so no missing playing time. be single mom. 2022: transfer from an australian team to a SWEDISH team. she meets her new teammate clara markstedt, they get close bc clara is helping her find housing and get settled (there’s a really cute video of katrina talking abt how she would text clara pictures of parking signs like literally daily asking her if she was ok to park there). they get together they’re adorable they’re now engaged. clara announced her retirement in like october and then in november announced that they’re having a baby together!!!! also clara is also an artist apparently which i just found out lol
oh also everyone check out harper.trio on tiktok it’s literally katrina and harper and then two other tillies (kyra cooney-cross and charlotte grant) having a blast in hotel rooms and such
ok so that’s the long winded background… there are several separate versions of this au floating in my head (all landoscar bc i have brainrot) like theres a bunch of cases here. f1 + still men + dad lando vs f1 + still men + dad oscar vs f1 + lesbians etc and then ALSO i have been Thinking abt a woso au so then in THAT case we have soccer + lesbians + mom lando. etc
in all the parent lando cases george and alex are the equivalent of kyra and charlotte (albeit without the ~10 year gap btwn them and katrina LOL). they r making silly tiktoks . that kid is spoiled rotten for piggy back rides with the highest view. etc etc. i destroyed myself w the image of lando n this toddler w matching homemade bracelets n then further destroyed myself w the image of special toddler made bracelet for oscar… normally bracelet-less oscar wearing it bc how could u say no… ANYWAYS
in the parent lando case leetle baby predates oscar, like lando is just bringin this kid along all of 2023 idk. mclaren def is killing the social media game lol. george and alex are frequently tapped for piggy back rides bc lando is not tall enough for baby’s standards. baby draws pictures for ppl on the grid … in general very cute heart warming etc but lando is for Sure kind of an unbalanced mess n oscar is for a sure a stabilizing effect despite being like . no i don’t know how to handle this small child who wandered over to me while i was waiting for a meeting. bc he’s like . how different can handling this kid really be from handling lando
in the parent oscar cases it also just like . Makes Sense. oh new team n ur teammate is reaching out to help you settle in. oh no you’re getting closer and oh no your toddler adores them and triple oh no YOU adore them… but i am slightly more intrigued by parent lando even tho it makes less “sense” on paper . maybe bc it makes less sense on paper? idk.
i have no like New New thoughts bc i am finally getting slightly sleepy and rn there are too many potential permutations that i just get too many ideas and none of them are intelligible .

Chapter 6
I spent the last two hours of the night, before the sun came up, in the bed in one of Harry’s guest rooms, scrolling on my phone between the seemingly infinite number of “news” articles publicizing the photos from earlier tonight. They were analyzing the handful of pictures that people had snapped. Some clearer than others. The stuff they published made me sick. Not only were they scrutinizing our body language, facial expressions, and my dress, but they had “insider sources” who “reported” that Harry and I were “spending time together.” Whatever that meant. I’m sure it was intentionally vague. Designed to get clicks and keep people talking without actually saying anything that would get them in legal trouble. The comment sections oscillated between two extremes. Some commenters left variations of heart and crown emojis, commending Harry for being “such a gentleman” for letting me hold onto his arm, and others called me a fame hungry whore, or a “beard” concealing whatever it is they think Harry has to hide. We aren’t even dating. A fact that hardly seemed relevant to those who were openly offering their very strongly worded opinions on our non-existent relationship. The dizzying speed at which these photos were being shared and written about made me nauseous. Just when I thought I’d seen it all, something new would pop up. My social media accounts exploded with notifications. I don’t know what made my skin crawl more, people I’d known my whole life and hardly ever spoke to who were now suddenly emerging from the midst of nowhere to “reach out” to me, or complete strangers tagging me, commenting on my past posts, and reviewing my every digital move. I instantly felt defensive though I wasn’t sure what I was defending or why. If a few moments of walking alongside Harry had resulted in this burst of articles and rumors, what would people say once they’ve had a few minutes to scroll through my accounts? For a moment, I had the urge to set all of my accounts to “private,” but that somehow felt weird and cowardly. Like I was afraid, or had something to hide.
I’d managed to work myself into another spiral. I needed a break. As the sun was rising in my window, I buried my phone underneath a mountain of pillows and got up to go check on Harry. I hoped the medication he’d been given, and the events of the night before, had knocked him into a deep slumber. When I got to the living room, the couch where I’d set him up, and where he’d drunkenly kissed me, was empty. Shit. Where l was he? How’d he even manage to get up on his own  with one of his arms mysteriously immobilized? Why do I feel like I’m in charge of babysitting a toddler?
I walked around the house looking for him. He wasn’t in the kitchen, or in either of the massive dining areas. I went upstairs to his bedroom, but the room was empty and his bed looked untouched. Perfectly made with the throw-pillows symmetrically aligned. He hadn’t slept in it. He was nowhere to be found when I checked the bathroom, and the five guest bedrooms and bathrooms that he’d shown me in a tour of the house upon my arrival. The gardens on his property were enormous, but as far as I could make out from the front of the house, none of them had been lit during the night. No way was he out there on his own.
I dialed Harry’s phone but was sent straight to voicemail. Fuck. Could he have gone back to the hospital, or something? Was he in so much pain that he just had to leave in the middle of the night to go back to the emergency room? If so, why hadn’t he come to get me? Or at least leave a message? My mind had no trouble at all coming up with several violent scenarios for me to choose from. So. Many. horrible things could’ve happened.
Numerous attempts and three voicemails later, I called Christopher to see if he’d heard from Harry, or if he had any idea where Harry could be.
“I’m sorry, no. I’ve just been sleeping since we dropped him off.” Christopher’s sleepy-leaden voice grumbled from the other end of the line.
I sighed loudly. Unable to voice the spiral in my mind.
“Don’t worry, I’m sure he’s fine. Wherever he is.” Christopher offered, clearing his throat to sound more comprehensible.
“How? How could you be ‘sure he’s fine’ if you have no idea where he is? Hmm? What if he’s hurt? What if he needs help?”
“You’re spinning out, you realize that, right?”
“S-sorry. I just- he’s not well. He’s on pain pills and whatever else he imbibed at the afterparty, and-”
“Fine,” Christopher groaned. “ I’ll come over.”
***
In Harry’s kitchen, Christopher leaned against the counter as I poured us both some coffee from the touch-screen espresso machine that Harry had shown me how to use.
“Should- we call the police? Report him missing?” I asked as I handed Christopher his mug.
“And risk a public outcry? Are you insane?”
We’d spent the early hours of the morning unsuccessfully negotiating with his security guy. We begged him to let us see the security footage to check where Harry might have gone, or if he’d ordered a car or used his own, but the guy wouldn’t budge. Our names were not on Harry’s emergency list. Therefore he wasn’t going to share ANY information with us under any circumstances. Even though we were Harry’s guests.
“At least the police would be able to override the security guy…” I shrugged and  took a much needed, enormous sip of my coffee and burned my tongue.
“You’re crazy. It’s Harry Styles. in LA. He’s safe. I’m sure. Don’t worry about it.”
“Are you prepared to deal with the public outcry that will definitely happen if it turns out that he isn’t safe?”
Christopher rolled his eyes.
“Cuz I’m not. Fans will crucify you. For the rest of your life, suspicion will haunt you. You’ll be THAT guy. The guy who could’ve called the police but didn’t. Wonder why? You wanna be that guy, Christopher?”
“Have you…been taking Harry’s pain pills?”
“I hate you.”
Chris laughed and pulled out his phone.
“What are you doing?” I walked over to stand over his shoulder.
“Like I said, it’s Harry Styles, this is LA. Chances are, if he’s somewhere public, someone out there must have seen him somewhere.”
Christopher opened his instagram app and searched for Harry’s name. His account information with its trusty blue checkmark appeared. Christopher swiped to Harry’s “tagged photos” and found the most recent picture he was tagged in. It was from two hours ago.
“Would you look at that?” Christopher handed me his phone and I immediately knew what he meant.
“Of course.” I was relieved he was okay.
“Already on it.” Christopher pulled up his contacts and made the call. “Hey, sorry to wake you. Could you put Harry on the phone, please?”
“Dude, speaker!” I whisper-yelled at Christopher.
He obliged, putting his phone down on the kitchen counter between us and hitting “speaker.”
“He’s not here, Chris. Not anymore, anyway.” Sienna’s voice replied. “He was. A couple of hours ago. Asked if he could borrow my dog and-”
“And you let him??” I interrupted, perhaps a bit too aggressive. Christopher shot me a corrective look.
“Forgive her. She’s really worried. Sienna, did he tell you where he and the dog were going?”
“I don’t know but I can send you the address. He seemed too loopy to drive so I called him an Uber.”
“Text me the address?”
“You got it, Chris.”
Ending the call, Chris gave me a fake sigh and smiled. “You and Harry better get married at the end of all this.”
“Oh, fuck off.”
****
I got into a car to the address that Sienna had sent us without thinking, but now that the driver had dropped me off, it occurred to me that I hadn’t thought far enough into the future to decide what I was going to do. I stood in front of the front door of this home. It must be a friend of Harry’s because the place was in a gated community. Weirdly, Harry’s driver’s car was recognized and allowed inside, so Harry must have been here before. I rang the doorbell without a clue who’d be on the other side, but as soon as the door swung open, everything made sense.
“H-how? How’d you find him?” asked the tall, dark haired man in the sweat suit as soon as he saw me.
“It’s Jeffrey…right? We met. At the Forum, remember?” I extended my hand out.
Remembering his manner, he shook my hand. “Please, call me Jeff.”
“Jeff, I just wanna talk to him. Make sure he’s okay.”
“He’s so gonna kill me for this,” Jeff mumbled under his breath as he stepped aside, letting me in.
“Don’t worry. I won’t let him.”
***
“He’s right through there” Jeff nodded as he walked me down the hallway of the second floor of his home. “Last door on the felt.”
I thanked him for his help and he retreated back to the lower floor to give us some privacy.
I knocked twice before opening the guest room door where Harry had spread out on the floor, Sienna’s beagle snoozing next to him, with a guitar on the floor, Harry struggling to hold it with his one functioning arm, beer bottles, empty cans, and an ashtray scattered in a semi-circle around his body.
“Seriously, Harry?” I exhaled in disbelief, walking in and shutting the door behind me.
Clearly startled, Harry looked up from his spot on the floor, his expression twisting into distant avoidance as he realized it was me. “Alice.” his eyes darted around the room, looking anywhere but in my direction. The height difference between us made him look small and scared. I wished I could understand what was going through his mind or comfort him. But it was more likely that I was the cause of it all.
I was taken aback by the pain that this caused me. He might as well have driven a knife through my chest. This was the first time Harry had ever called me by my real name. No “Matilda.” Not even “babe,” or “darlin.’” Just “Alice.”
“What- are you…how? How did you...”
Though he never finished any of his questions, I knew what he was trying to ask, so I pulled my phone out and showed him the instagram picture of him with Sienna’s dog that led me here.
“‘Course, internet.” he  nodded, mumbling to himself.
“Harry, how drunk are you right now?”
“Not drunk.”
I squatted down and took a seat on the floor next to him, shoving the beer bottles to the side to make more room.
“You’re not supposed to drink with the meds you’re on.” I reminded him, glancing around the room for more evidence of his solitary activities. “...or smoke…or take other pills…gosh, Harry what’ve you ingested? Is there anything you HAVEN’T taken?”
“You know, a little bit of this, a little bit of that.”
I rolled my eyes. Fighting the urge to indulge in his self-pity. It was extremely difficult though. I kept my face harsh and steady, but it was killing me to see him like this.
“You wanna share? I bet I could scramble together a line at least?” He grabbed his credit card off the carpet and felt around his small clear baggies for leftovers.
“That’s not funny, Harry.”
“Wasn’t joking.”
“Stop, okay? You’ve had enough. Let’s get you home.”
“I’m not goin’ home…I’m- staying here.” His speech was slow and slurred. Sienna’s dog got up and walked in circles scratching at the floor to find a comfortable spot, then giving up, he jumped right into Harry’s lap.
Harry’s hand automatically began petting him.
“You need to go home and get some sleep. Flush all this…shit out of your system. Sober up.”
Looking me dead in the eyes, Harry grabbed a pill out of one of his plastic bags and swallowed it whole. “No.”
“Look, I get it. You’re in pain. You’re angry with me. You’re sad. We’ve all been there. Things suck right now, but you can’t run from your feelings. They’ll catch up to you eventually. And thing will be much worse when they do.”
“Like you even care? We’re not together, remember? We can’t be. You said that last night. So why are you here? Why are you trying to help me? I don’t need you to help me, I need you to love me. But you won’t do that, so why’d you come here? What, were you hoping to apologize and make it all go away? I can’t do that anymore, I can’t keep making allowances for your emotional shortcomings. It’s exhausting, I’m exhausted just leave me the fuck alone, Alice!!”
