My TMNT iteration, TMNT:Cyberspace

So basically it takes place in the future where everything is all modern

And it's sorta like the 2012 turtles backstory but a little twist

Im not gonna tell you abt it bc i might make a comic and/or fanfic out of this (also donnie has a prosthetic leg)

But I'm having a lot of fun writing abt it

I'm trying to go for a sort of cyberpunk modern look

I am NOT excited to be drawing background cuz Im horrible at them (if i make a comic)

and also splinter is girlboss and manwhore. sorta like 2012 splinter but also leaning towards rise splinter

PERSONALLY.#at least definitely not enough to be worth taking 100x longer #but making them my characters makes it worth going all the way!!!#plus it's good practice w like. not just going 1:1 but actually genuinely interpreting whats there so i can manipulate it...#again. personally. this is just how i worm #WORK #youd better worm bitch #uhm... anyways yeah. ive done lots of study but why TF share it LMAO i dont even save it #its just to learn. ive got 1 million other drawings to save and look at later.#once the learning is done it's done its job and i have no need anymore #this is why the only studies i have are from school. i had to save and upload them #well. ok also i dont study as much now BUT in my defense im a full time artist #an hour or so a week is different ok im learning while working too.. i learned how to learn and i do it all the time now #master studies #digital art #my art #illustration #my ocs

I'm too tired right now #speaking of. it's my first time drawing sharon I hope she's okay!#yes slayer carries and wears in the nose his 200 spf sunscreen from xrds treasure hunt animation :)#as for the big main picture. it left me quite exhausted and I know the lighting leaves a lot to be desired but I'm proud! learnt a lot #first time drawing blue para too. I hope his metallic sheen is alright #more than aba's skin sheen for sure. I'll improve it in the future! btw tweaked a bit her attire's palette from last time and made her keep #the headband cause trying to figure out how her hair would properly fall was a hassle lmao #fun fact: the bird is an european herring gull #the crab is an edible crab and the palm trees are coconut palm trees with no fruit lol #I wanted to draw fan palms which are a kind of palm tree that deserves more love but the leaf shape was so difficult to draw #I did struggle a lot with these two.. they look more like feathers but again. that can be studied and improved in the future #despite all the lows summertime can have for me whenever it's a nice day and we can go to the beach I feel everything is worth it and will #be okay. hope I could translate that here. hi new people I tend to ramble a lot in my post tags #art tag2b named #sharon

I’ve been really thinking of reopening my art shop soon… I’ve been taking some practice doodles (hence all the posting lately) while I shake off my rust and I’m finding things I enjoy working on again. I miss trying my hand at more dragons/OCs and colors. my shop’s so broken rn lmao but that’s a problem for a later date it’s just nice getting back into art

#my mental health is starting to improve a bit #took a couple years but I found some meds that finally work better for me #ofc things aren’t 100% but I was really in a pit for a while #like ‘did not leave my house in months and slept 14 hours a day’ kind of pit #so. any improvement is better lol. but nah I’ve been making real improvement and im doing better. a lil shaky sometimes but that’s expected #diagnosed with chronic fatigue too. which is unfortunate but not unexpected. i am indeed god’s sleepiest soldier #i feel like a raisin slowly rehydrating but considering i was in a desert before any hydration is welcome #just learning how to enjoy things again overall #one thing I just couldn’t get myself to do (and enjoy) was art. doodles here and there but nothing to post #and it’s kind of funny because I feel like that downtime actually gave me a chance to think about what I wanted to work on #even when I wasn’t actively practicing #just paying attention to things I guess. enjoying art styles #i genuinely think my experimenting with stained is helping me learn colors #i spend hours in the scryshop im glad it’s paying off lmao #i want to tackle bigger things but i just gotta ease myself into the hang of things again #for now im having fun and that’s coooool. thank you all for your nice comments #i read all tags while kicking my feet and giggling. thank u all #that’s the update on Me tho. more to come hopefully #starting next month/julyish I will have a significant amount of time to dedicate to drawing which i intend on doing #so who knooowwwsss #rambles #funny enough coloring has become my favorite part of the process now. it used to be lineart. now lineart annoys me LOL #i also feel like i kinda lost my ability to write which has been frustrating but im focusing on art first #anyways that’s a whole different tangent rant over

I remembered that drawing is fun and awesome and I'm deeply tempted to crawl out of bed and go draw something else but it's 4am

#kittyfrin took 1 million years but i had fun the whole time #charm design i'm going to tweak when i wake up took like 20 minutes. had fun tje whole time #drawing is fun??????? <-voice of guy who drew way too much #ok well drawing once a day is not like. too much. but it becomes too much when you have the sword of damocles hanging over you #(sword of damocles being. neurosis)#idk....it's just like. i think my art really got hit hard in a bad way by covid???#bc i was used to drawing constantly constantly constantly in class. and then i stopped having class #i was avoidant of doing my work in different worse ways. that did not involve drawing #so i stopped doodling i stopped drawing anything not meant to be a Full Piece #so my art folders from 2020-2023 are all combined like. i think less than half of this year alone #not helped of course by the power of Obsession but you know. i think this just leads into my point #being that isat has really made me Enjoy art again. im glad i didnt kill that enjoyment #i feel guilty all the time about not updating my dailyloop cuz i know ppl like it amd i have like 90 unanswered asks #but i am enjoying the lack of a daily grind so hard chat
