what would happen if WD appeared in current timeline?

Technically... that's impossible according to the lore I made.
But... if it DID happen...
Wingdings would be amazed by the fact he achieved time-travel. Then he'll realize his brother doesn't recognize him so MAYBE it's another universe? Soon he would meet Papyrus... that would freak him out I think, and not because of their similar appearances, that could be explained by this being another universe, it's about something else...
The only characters I see having reactions to this event are WD himself and Sans (He's felt like something was off for a long time, this could be an explanation, like this is right. He still wouldn't remember a thing ). Other characters would not react (not even characters like Alphys who knew him), maybe they would find it weird that WD looks sm like Papyrus, but that could just be a skeleton thing! And they still have some physical differences
Last, there's Papyrus. Hmmm
He might unconsciously avoid Wingdings, then feel bad for avoiding him. It's not nice to avoid your guest, especially since there's not a reason to feel uncomfortable around him. He would keep this all to himself btw
... Flowey would think this is interesting, but there's no way for him to understand what's truly going on

Some ideas I have about some of the Links and their brains.
This will not include all of the boys, as most of them (Time, Wind, Twilight, Four, and Hyrule) I see as being in the same basic camp when it comes to smarts and stuff, so there's nothing really for me to address there. I'm just going to point out some interesting quirks I've noticed / hc with the other four.
Warriors
It's easy to jump to the conclusion that Wars is the stupidest Link, since his game has no puzzles. I disagree. While yes, he is laughably terrible with puzzles, he is a strategic and tactical genius with a powerhouse, rapid-fire brain that can parse out an entire battle's worth of information in an instant and come to a decision in a flash. Traditional puzzles may not be his thing, sure, but that is not where his genius lies. His brain thrives on cutting through chaos with decisive action, and that is where he shines.
Sky
Has ADHD (inattentive type). Like, really, really bad inattention. Constantly spaces out and forgets things. There's a reason Fi pops up like, every half-second to remind him what he's supposed to be doing. Hylia knew what she was dealing with and planned accordingly. He is the most space-cadety of space-cadets. He'll be going along like a normal person with a normal train of thought and then he'll see a leaf floating by and completely forget what he's doing because the leaf is pretty and isn't it interesting how it moves with the wind like that and I wonder where it's going hey wait get back here—
But. Sky's mental superpower is that he is the fastest dang learner in the entire Chain. Not just with weapons or items or music like the rest of 'em, but everything. Wild's unable to cook but has all the ingredients for something he's made before? Sky watched how he did it once while helping him dice the veggies, so he'll just throw that meal together real quick. Wild let him flip through the "Ingredients" section of the compendium once, and now Sky can identify all the edible plants it listed by sight. He learned how to carve by watching Jakamar repair a couple of wooden structures one day. Sky may be a space cadet, but he's also the most potently absorbent practical-knowledge and information sponge you ever did meet.
Wild
Also has ADHD (combined type). There are literal "ooo shiny" mechanics in the freaking game. Koroks? ooo shiny. Shrine quests? ooo shiny. Every single item that Wild can pick up in the game literally sparkles. Everything about the Sheikah Slate is designed to account for this: scope pins, map stamps, inventory organization, Hyrule Compendium, Sheikah Sensor, photo album, a journal which he uses to take fastidious detailed notes of all the crap he needs to remember because he knows he'll forget all of it otherwise. He struggles to sit still for extended periods unless he is asleep or gazing into a pretty fire.
Wild is also the creative genius out of the bunch. He has the most robust understanding of fundamental physics out of the entire Chain. His visual thinking and creative problem-solving skills are off the charts. The rest of the Chain may be able to navigate with maps and compasses, but Wild can navigate foreign terrain using nothing but the environment itself. Present him with a problem and he'll think of fifty different ways to address it and all of them will usually work. He is an all-around genius problem solver and astoundingly creative thinker.
Legend
Mind like a freaking. Steel. Trap. Nothing slips past his awareness or gets forgotten. Ever. Journals are pointless because his brain is an information vault. Oh, and any puzzle he's handed better say goodby to its loved ones and make sure its will is in order because this lad will solve it before it has a chance to defend itself.
Let me just, give you an example. Just one. You see this here?
How long do you think you could remember this random character vomit without writing it down? A few minutes, maybe? Maybe a couple hours, or a day or two if you took the time to memorize it?
Try an entire journey to another country after hearing it only once.
Oh, but that's not even the most impressive part! You see, Legend didn't just hang onto one of these memorization nightmares for an entire extended trip to another land, oh no—he remembered several of them. Perfectly. As if that wasn't enough, y'all remember the item swap quests? Yeah, without notes of any kind, this Link remembered who needed what in every single one of those convoluted trading chains. All while he was busy saving the world.
The downside is that Legend's thinking is not very flexible. He operates best when there is a single correct solution to a given problem. He much prefers having concrete information to work with, rather than a vague scenario with a shrug and a, "idk, figure something out". Being dropped into a massive open world with no information other than, "alright here ya go, here's some basic abilities and a light dusting of backstory, now get out there and save the Princess!" would be an overwhelming, anxiety-riddled nightmare for this dude.

Thoughts on slico?
honestly? I'm still oscillating loving him and needing to bash his head in at a very rapid pace, because that's just the character he is. and I started rewatching season 1 last night so.... my thoughts and feelings are all over the place.
but, the thing that I most steadfastly stand by, is the fact that he attempted to keep his promise to Felecia.
now. he fucked that shit up for a hot minute. he was blinded by his hatred and pain and anger towards Vander— which the anger itself, I think was justified. I understand why Vander was angry, considering Silco's actions for their people killed, got Felecia killed, orphaned her daughters. but Silco was trying to fight for Zaun. he lost his friends too. he was scarred too. and to be cast away so violently, and never hear a word from Vander's mouth (cause I'm assuming that letter meant that Vander never actually tried to have a conversation with him, at least, not until after it was too late). so I get why Silco was angry and turned away from his brother —and let that hate spill onto the girls. I think it goes without saying that taking out violent anger on little girls years after the fact, when they had no hand in what happened to you, is not justified.
in his rage, he forgot his promise. abandoned it in a ditch. and he was a little bitch for that. he was ready and willing to kill Vi and Powder just to get back at Vander. he had no care for those girls.
but you can see the very moment he remembered. when he pulled the knife back from view and looked down at Jinx crying. he remembered, and a war took place in his mind. does he stick to his promise or his anger?
and he chose his promise when that little girl clung to his chest. his niece. the youngest daughter of a friend he lost so long ago. clung to him. crying from the same pain he felt when Vander abandoned him.
and after that, he, in his head, which was superbly fucked beyond doubt, he thought he was keeping to it.
he was protecting Jinx the only way he knew how. and that was to change her. to make her someone people like Vi and Vander couldn't hurt. to kill Powder, so she could thrive as Jinx. and he, again, in his own fucked up way, was doing what he thought was best for Zaun.
I almost entirely disagree with his methods, but I acknowledge he was keeping his promise in his own way. he was being the best father he knew how to be. he was protecting Jinx the best he knew how to. he was fighting for a world where Zaun was a better place, though, being a good place, got lost along the way, in place of Zaun having power.
Silco was too jaded and sardonic and scarred and angry to be a good father or leader or rebel. he was corrupted. so trying to look at him from a moral lense isn't really an option if you want to understand him. but if you look at him through his set of morals and ideals and such, while it doesn't make him a better person, you can see that protecting Jinx and bettering Zaun are still at his core.
so. I don't know. I hate him and I don't. his world view is so fucked. the way he ended up trying to "fix" things was fucked. but I will give him that one thing; he tried to keep his promise, sorta.
#he makes me want to bash my head in#he's really a nightmare#I love him tho. still. I think. maybe. depends on the day really l.#like I get him. but I also don't. and I think he's stupid.#so.#those are my thoughts#Powder reminded him of thet promise and he never let himself lose sight of it again. whether or not his execution was good or not#(it wasn't. not by a long shot)#arcane silco#silco#silco and jinx#silco arcane#arcane#arcane season 2

Gator is clearly not stupid. If he wanted to, he could've kept chasing after Dot and caught up with her easily after what happened to Wayne. Hell, he probably could've even scooped her up instead of taking off his mask to talk to her.
My theory is that Gator cares for Dot, but when it comes to his dad's desires to bring her home (and he knows what his dad is capable of) his heart is absolutely not in it. Hell, we even learned towards the end of 5x04 that he calls his father "Roy" when he's not around, and saw his reaction - and likely conditioning - to having to clean up his father's messes.
Dot is one of Roy's "messes" and Gator sees firsthand how Roy handles his messes. He clearly cares for Dot, despite his conditioning and desires to please his father, but he doesn't want her to face Roy's definition of justice.
We know from cast interviews and what Noah has said that Gator is conflicted and that he's at a "crossroads" with what he wants his life and choices to be. Now, I by no means think that Gator is a "good guy," but I think we're going to see very soon just how deep his resentment towards his father is, coupled along with his care and history in regards Dot.

Thoughts on Trans Women that are lesbians
trans “women” can’t be lesbians since they are male. trans “women” that call themselves lesbians are just disgusting lesbophobic men who deserve to die.

Re ghouls: I think mountain will be kept on the next tour, possibly rain, aurora, cirrus. Cumulus I'm unsure bc she has her own stuff she's working on. I really hope phantom will return but he is also working on a bunch of stuff. I don't have high hopes of swiss or dew returning. That's my thoughts.

Tomorrow I’m going to spend the day with N and then it will be over. Three months. It’s what I told him I could give and I’m happy I stuck around, but also this wasn’t working. At this point I sit there and love him and just help him through his relationship problems with his girlfriend because I know that is how I can make his life better in the long run. It’s not sustainable, but it also doesn’t hurt anymore. Maybe that means I stopped caring. I don’t know.
I do know that right now I love him. And tomorrow I will love him. And I’ll soak up all the time I can with him. And then I’ll leave and never do something like this to myself again.
#note to self: entirely monogamous#I’ve tried dating multiple people#didn’t work#I’ve tried dating someone who had an existing partner#worked even worse somehow#I think I’m gonna wait a minute before dating again#I’m gonna hook up with people if I can#I think I need that physical connection at this point#and I’m gonna go out and make more friends#but I’ll wait until next year when I move to date#those are my thoughts#thanks for listening#ooc

Loki Headcanon time:
I feel like he was probably sick as a child. Like, not just randomly, but think about the fact Odin basically whitewashed him…And this is why I think Loki was sick a lot as a child: Who’s to say that Odin didn’t end up changing his biology too?
I mean think about it- Really think about it. There is no evidence that Jotun biology and Asgardian biology is the same. I don’t care how magically powerful Odin is-changing someone’s body, let alone an infant is going to have effects. I mean, it’s not just, “Oh, Loki has skin colder than an Asgardian/can’t feel the cold- His body literally went from someone who was born into what appears the be an incredibly cold environment, to a body that was suited for a warmer climate: in the span of a couple of seconds, while being in aforementioned cold environment. Like, that can’t have just been a quick “Your skin is changed now!” If Loki was to be in a warmer environment for an extended period of time, his biology had to have changed to fit that environment, and I seriously doubt without like, some training or something to change the entire way his body works, he wouldn’t have experienced adverse affects.
#anyway#those are my thoughts#loki headcanon#also#even as a shapeshifter#he would still be changing his body#because if it was just his outward appearance#that’s just be an illusion#mcu#Loki#I think this counts as og Loki

Hey again, hope you're having a good day! I was discussing Failtopia with a friend, and they agreed that this gives Erica vibes. Thoughts?
I agree. This is exactly the kind of vibe she has when she first starts out as a Warrior, having no idea what she's really doing and destroying her image as she goes, but aiming for a new, better life with everything she attempts at this point.

heya boss, i know your whole bit is dadson, but what are your thoughts on a older brother who had to step up and raise their younger brothers?
aww well hey, that's almost dadhood anyway. except usually with a less drastic age gap, not having to experience the trauma of birth, a sense of competition, responsibility and resentment over the parentification and a lost childhood. and some sort of mutual guilt that comes with having useless parents and an unusual family structure.
lots of emotional tension and grief, but also a sense of understanding, like you just Get each other like no one else. like if no other relationship works out, if nobody else understands, you might end up experimenting with each other, because whatever, you were doomed from the start because your parents failed both of you... romantic!! incestuous comfort sex.
#I'm trying to be both vague and very specific bc I don't have ANY characters in mind but I do want specific concepts in there#specific concepts and dynamics for hypothetical nonexistent characters#I like dadson alot more but all other shipcest is great fun too#also haha 👉👈 boss... thanks. I'm ceo of dadson now#shipcest#brocon#I think they're neat#those are my thoughts#idk if this is anything#I just enjoy the baggage and angst of it all

mihawk actually loves valentines day btw. he likes the aesthetic... and chocolate.
croc thinks it's marketable and just uses it to make more money.
law only likes it when the hearts on everything are anatomically correct (someone tried to give him a valentine once and he literally stole their heart and did not give it back for 3 weeks)
corazon, in contrast, is a big valentines day fan. he loves the whimsy! the fun! the romance! the chocolate! also he fits in with the decor.
katakuri does not like it. he's a shy little (big) guy and always awkward when responding to gifts...
and finally - killer is also a fan, he's a bit of a romantic beneath the scary exterior.

ok listen LISTEN. nmau hits the EXACT right nostalgia receptors in my brain as a gay girly who somehow managed to make it out of a small liberal arts (catholic rip) college in the midwest both alive and with a WIFE. the girls are just running around the campus of my alma mater. like what do you MEAN ryeji found the same staircase in the rec that everybody would hook up in?!?
two follow up questions
1) is professor jung from acrylics class everyone’s favorite local cryptid jung wheein bc id love that for her (im a certified card carrying moo and my brain just slotted her into the faculty of soco, so sorry if it’s meant to be someone else)
2) what states are the girlies from bc you said earlier you had it mapped out and now i need to know
omg yay this makes me so happy!! part of what makes nmau so fun to write is that i'm using it to relive a lot of what i loved about my college experience (all those years ago 🧓🏽) also congrats on surviving and being WIFED UP
as for your questions!!
honestly the professors are all up for grabs for who you see them to be (except for prof kang and prof bae bc that's my seulrene and no one can touch them 😤). i was honestly picture krystal jung from f(x) when i mentioned her bc i love krystal but honestly wheein works too follow your heart :P
as for the states the girlies are from!! def not like necessary to know, but i did think about it bc every detail about this fic lives in my brain even if it doesn't make it onto the page lol
yeji - washington (like the state on the west coast not washington dc for any non-americans who didn't know there were two lol)
ryujin & yuna (& yunjin lol) - northern virginia near washington dc
jisu - pennsylvania (a suburb in the area that's close to NJ and NYC
chaeryeong - western massachusetts
#those are my thoughts#LOL#i also see yejisu living together for a year out of college and then ryeji living together after ryu graduates#maybe in nyc or something :)#asks#nmau#srfanning#i loved this ask thank u!!
