what if omegas are encouraged to remain “intact” until their breeding time because they want to ensure they only breed with someone the league chooses and so not only is he theoretically opposed to the nhl breeding program but he’s also a virgin. He’s never had a particularly hard time being celibate—no alpha’s ever gotten to him in a way he couldn’t fix with his favorite toy—but now not only has sid been paired with this Russian hot shot rookie who can’t even speak English, but his suppressant also stop being as effective as they once were and he can’t stop thinking about Geno’s knot. Maybe he finally gives in and they start fooling around and Sid is explicitly clear that it’s hands and mouths only Geno is not allowed to knot him, he does not ever want to be pregnant. But they keep pushing the boundaries and then oops breakthrough heat triggers Geno’s rut and oops now he’s not only knocked up but bonded too. And even though it was a fuck up on both their parts, Sid blames Geno for it and refuses to talk to him. Except that the bond is new and they can’t be more than 20 feet away from each other without feeling sick, and the league has already spun up this fairytale love story narrative for them to cover up the fact that Sid let an alpha mount him before officially sanctioned, so he’s gotta grit his teeth and play nice in public while freezing Geno out in private—while also making himself sick from resisting the bond.

Maybe Geno finally cracks and exerts some alpha will—like you will sleep in my bed and you will let me touch you so you won’t be sick / for the baby—and Sid hates himself for how much he likes it and Geno hates himself for forcing Sid and liking it.

Rosa, dealing with summer heat cowgirl style because at the time I was frying like bacon and what better way to cope than to let my oc fry with me. She looked more graceful about it than me. Anyways, tidbit of the day she is Amara's best friend, a supporting character who is a lawyer who ended up with another job that she had retired from. Well, when your godchild throws herself in harms away there's nothing you can do there but take back your part time-job. That godchild is Cori, she is her godmother, cause Amara and her have been friends for a LONG time they might as well be family. Overworked, tired, she actually is deeply unsatisfied with her lawyer job but she's terrified to make a switch. She's sweet, and while she can be genuine about it, its usually to mask her other traits. It all boils down to self-preservation, she ends up developing that due to being hunted down.

The next oldie is Lyka, I think he's a side character? I don't know I just know he acts as an antagonist to the main squad. He's human, but he's also a whole menace, he's a notorious merc(?) that specializes in in guns and fire. Has a mysterious mechanical arm, specially made for combat. Hence why when he's not on the job, it remains off. He don't like too much. Why is he awfully close to River in one sketch? Amoral game, flirtations. He's very flirty. It's actually a bit deeper, but I'm tinkering with it. River gets judgment from their best friend because of it.

Fun Lyka fact, he is bad with names do he gives a person a nickname he associates with them, the more nicknames the more it means he likes them, but it's also a sign of closeness as he'd put it he sees more sides to that person as they have for him. In turn adding and changing nicknames.

But he's never gotten close like that in a while, only a few times and well it didn't end well.

A River fact of the day, they have a golden antique coffee-machine that works, a reward for being employee of the month which they thought was some sort of sick prank, they still do. They have a problem with trying to take things as they are.

Fun fact for Rosa, she cannot cook to save her life. For reasons I cannot disclose she doesn't need to learn how, which is fine but now she is not allowed to be near the stove until she does.

TK hums and leans against his husband’s shoulder. It’s thin these days but it still is the spot TK feels safest, held up against the rest of the world. “Remember ice-skating on lake Georgetown? How you fell onto that little girl and she fell on her brother and they fell onto their mom and—?” Carlos groans. “Yes. And but do you remember the year after? You getting hypothermia again because we lost navigation back to the cabin and had to wander around?” His hand finds his way onto TK’s knee. It’s less shaky now.  “You’re being dramatic,” TK says. “I had a mild cold.” “Hypothermia.” “A guy drops into a lake and into a coma once and anytime he’s cold after, people think he has hypothermia.”
