Cuanto hace que no pasaba por aqui...

aaaaaaaaaaaajajajaja

Y esta vez si que no he dibujado por todo este tiempo, esta ilustracion la hice y la pense durante la semana, apenas si acabo de terminarla.

Se siente bien estar de vuelta, sobretodo el hecho de alejarme de redes, que estaba empezando a perder el horizonte, a perderme a mi mismo por ganar vistas o likes o guevonadas de esas.

Como sea, parece que siempre que abordo una ilustracion tiene que ser oscura o con un dejo de tristeza asi sea la cosa mas colorida del mundo. Esta vez intente abrazar esa parte de mi que solo quiere hacer cosas oscuras y deprimentes.

La idea detras de esta vaina fue desarrollar ideas de despojo y nihilismo que desde hace un tiempo vengo pensando. Tiene que ver con identidad y con como los individuos se adaptan (o no) a la sociedad. Asi que vamos por partes.

Es un sentimiento recurrente para mi no sentirme identificado con nada, no me gusta nada y me es dificil empatizar solo por eso, pero eso lleva a que no me importe nada, que es nihilismo y eso lleva a soledad y aislamiento.

Se me ocurrio que, bueno, si bien tengo muchas cosas que deberia cambiar, es inevitable pensar que estoy a merced de las circustancias. Donde y como vivo, las ideas con las que creci y la situacion actual de mi pais y el mundo me condicionan y en cierta medida me hacen ser yo.

Y cuando todo a tu alrededor te traiciona, sientes tambien que tu mismo te traicionas, siguiendole la corriente a la sociedad, haciendo lo que se espera de ti, siendo un zombie arrastrado por la voluntad de alguien mas...o por el monton.

Como sea, eso era lo que queria expresar, pero encontre otra metafora ademas del zombie para retratar eso de dejarse llevar y ser despojado de identidad, asi fue como termine dibujando un maniqui con muchas cabezas intercambiables segun la situacion amerite, jugando con ellas mientras hace equilibrio en una cuerda floja, que resulta dolora de cruzar y ciertamente peligroso...

Queria retratar eso con algo de ironia, al punto de estar burlandome...de la vida? de la sociedad? de quienes hacen parte de? puede ser todo eso, si, que asi es el nihilismo, la juventud actual vendiendose por una oportunidad y esta sociedad podrida y decadente que despoja a sus individuos de identidad para terminar siendo marionetas...aaaa la catarsis, ciertamente se sintio bien desarrollar esta idea, dibujarla e incluso escribir al aire de todo esto como lo estoy haciendo.

Como es costumbre, tengo algo del proceso, no mucho esta vez, pero algo que sirve como evidencia de lo que estaba pensando jeje

en un punto estaba dudandolo con las luces y las sombras, que si era muy oscuro, muy plano, muy obvio o muy rebuscado, en fin, si alguien me diera algo de retroalimentacion sobre eso estaria bonito, aunque me he acostumbrado a hacer esto solo jajaja

You know, it's about time I did this sort of concept where Nyreena had been swept up in Freakshow's power and his latest controlled performer. And what better way then to use it for today's Chaos prompt? XD

And finally dress her as ballerina, something that seriously needed to be done for quite a while XD

The Tight Rope

We would always see people on tv on these tight ropes

I thought they were so cool

Acrobats even have an extravagant name

I’ve always wanted to try what I saw through the screen

So I pushed myself to new heights

I wasn’t afraid

I would thrive under the constant pressure of gravity

And my black belt in Taekwondo made my balance impeccable

So that I would never fall

No matter how much people tried to tell me where to place my foot

Or yelled at me to go higher because I couldn’t yet see the greener grass over the fence

And I thrived

Only letting one voice get to me

My mother.

She was so encouraging

She would smile and wave

Happy that I was even trying at something so difficult

But soon, she got angry that I still wasn’t going higher

And her voice mixed with the rest of them

But I still wanted to hear her

In case she started cheering again

So I had to let them all in

They were all screaming at me

So I kept climbing

From this distance I couldn’t tell what they were saying

But I knew in my heart that they wanted me to reach new heights

So I kept climbing

I would teeter to one side or the other

But my feet stayed on the rope

I haven’t fallen yet

But now I’m scared

I’m slowly gaining the fear of heights

Not from how far up I am

But from how far I can fall

I don’t like tight ropes anymore
