kind of want a girl who is really good at handling spicy food to bring me to her favorite restaurant and keep feeding me different really spicy things until I'm crying but I'm doing really well and trying really hard and I keep going and I try everything and I'm melting but she says I did a good job and she gives me a really tight hug but i have to break away to blow my nose bc im crying bc of the food but then she hugs me again when im done

so 2023 is just about in the books. and this blog has taken off tremendously. there are far more of you following me now than i ever expected when i was very drunk and lonelyposting my sad little heart out back in April & May. you may not realize this, but my little community here helped me survive that time of my life. i've been on the internet since the late 90's as a wee child and i have never had the virtual platform that i do now.

so thanks for checking out this blog and i hope that i've managed to bring you either knowledge, awareness, happiness, a sense of belonging or just a quick laugh. i hope you take something away with you into your life that means something to you, because that means my message has resonated.

as 2024 begins, i'm actually wondering what the next chapter of my life is going to be. as i've spent more time on my creative efforts; writing, music, comedy, as well as activism efforts locally, investigative stuff, etc., the more i've realized that i'd much rather be giving all of my energy to these things than to a corporation 40~ hours a week for the purposes of their own enrichment.

so 2024 will be a year that i work toward having the freedom to express myself in these ways while continuing to survive in this late stage capitalist dystopia, fighting for what is just, equitable and never wavering from my core beliefs and principles. i hope you'll join me.
