Last Song: The Blade by Aurora. Realised it's a perfect song for both my Lavellan and Solavellan in general. And it's just perfect regardless of that.

Favorite Colour: my soul is green

Last Movie: The Wiz! Some friends and I went to a free screening of it in the city with free ice cream and it was hmmm.... not good but also still fun. My year 9 school production was The Wiz so it was cool to see the differences in interpretation. Both had a drag queen-esque Evillene though.

Last Book: I've barely had the time or energy to properly sit down and read anything other than my own writing for the last few months. But given that one of my original stories I started writing over a decade ago is currently 224k words long, I guess I can count that.

Last TV Show: Finally watched season one of Severance after my sister had been begging me for a year. I love it but it's also too effective with the corporate white walls and fluorescent lighting because I get a headache every time I watch it lol

Sweet, Savoury, or Spicy: always savoury. I think I've been losing my sweet tolerance as I'm getting older which is sad.

Relationship Status: Incredibly single. I tried dating apps a while back but they made me have an existential crisis and there's been no one around I click with for a while. And as fellow demisexual dread said, dating is hard when you need to form a deeper bond before trusting people with The Rest.

Last Thing I Googled: If the goddamn election has been called yet so I know what my next few months of work looks like.

Looking Forward To: The goddamn election being called so I know what my next few months of work looks like. But also kind of dreading it because it's probably going to get so stressful and exhausting and I still need to unionise half the office before it's over...

Current Obsessions: the fat cat who just sat on my chest and is purring while I sing to her. Also Solavellan and the fact it's given me the motivation to do a lot of writing over the last few months, even if it's in a non-linear, disjointed way that I have to piece back together.

Sometimes tv girl fans make me mad. (Not all guys) because if somebody asks me what my favorite song is from the band, and I say lovers rock, I swear they will literally tweak out I feel like. It’s like that with their most popular songs like cigarettes out the window and not allowed. Let me rock to lovers rock in peace.

Also, y’all act like their popular songs are so bad, that you get mad when you hear people say their favorite songs is them songs. You’re going to be alive, it’s okay. The world is not going to end when they say their favorite songs are cigarettes out the window, not allowed, or/and lovers rock. It’s not their fault them songs stand out to them.

I understand if you feel like (or if they said) they are the only songs they listen too. That’s kind of different… yes there are more good songs than them specific ones, and yes they CAN probably a fake fan. BUT, those aren’t always the case. Either they are a new fan of tv girl, and those are the first songs they heard, or they are a new fan, but they don’t have time to listen to all of their songs. (Like me, hi.)

One more thing. PINK AND BLUE ARE NOT ALWAYS “TV GIRL REFERENCE!” I’ve been wanting to say this for forever. Yes, some things can be a tv girl reference, but no, not everything can. Take this for example. If I say my dead family member wore pink and blue when they died, or their favorite colors were pink and blue, I swear to my flipping crotch if I hear you say “tv girl reference!” I will literally tweak out.(I’m lying to y’all I will not tweak out. I’m too introverted for that.) I will just get mad. That is my dead family member. That is not a tv girl reference. And, you are not funny.

If it’s just like a random kid toy that DOESN’T have a big meaning to it, and you just say “tv girl reference!” For giggles or something, then I guess yeah.👍🏼

also, the “who really cares?” Album (which is the album with pink and blue, and what they are referring to) is NOT the only tv girl album😱😱 There is a lot more albums. Even I don’t know every single one, but I know that is not their only album. There is French exit, Grapes upon a vine (their most recent album) and Death of a party girl. There is a lot more than that, and yeah. So, if I see somebody see a pink, orange, and yellow, and they say “tv girl reference” I won’t really care because I wouldn’t know what to say. If I see you say “no it’s not..” yes it is. Probably won’t tell you, but yes it is. (unless it something I said earlier)

Suguru can be a bit manipulative… okay, maybe a lot. But can you really blame a guy for wanting his girlfriend to stay over for more than eight hours? It’s your first night at his place, and you’re just going to leave in the morning?

Yeah, that doesn’t sit right with him.

And it’s not like he’s even being pushy. You two haven’t done anything yet. Even though - god - there’ve been moments tonight where he’s sure his self-control is about to snap.

Like when he let you use his shower for the first time, and he had to pretend he wasn’t imagining what you looked like in one of his towels, hair dripping wet, skin flushed from the steam. Or how he wasn’t sure he’d be able to handle you coming out smelling like him.

Or earlier, in the kitchen - your soft footsteps padding around, your voice all curious and sweet when you asked where he keeps the tableware. That little pout. Those eyes. The way your hips brushed against him when you reached for the cups, and his hands instinctively went to your waist. He prayed - begged - you didn’t feel the hard-on pressed against you. He's a religious man after all.

So when you’re finally nestled beside him in bed, wrapped in his dark, silky sheets, his arms, his scent - he’s desperately reminding himself: Don’t be a pervert. Don’t ruin this. You're too good to me. You're not ready. I’m not ready.

He’s not ready to see what your face looks like when he’s on top of you. Whether you're the type to reach for his hands. Whether you’d whine into his kisses and chase them like you’re addicted to him.

Of course he doesn't sleep well. Not with you so close. Not when he keeps pulling you tighter against him in the middle of the night. Not when all he can think is - Please don’t leave yet.

So, of course, he wakes up before you. Of course he adjusts the blinds just right - so the light doesn’t hit your eyes, but still kisses your skin like a cat sunbathing. Of course he tucks the comforter closer around you, warm and heavy, so you stay cocooned in comfort while he goes about his morning.

He checks in on you often. Teases you when you stir, coos about how sleepy you are. Laughs softly when you grab for his hand, half-conscious. And of course he’s going to make it feel like this is your idea. Staying a little longer. Getting cozy. Not rushing off.

Because the truth is - he doesn’t want you to leave. Is that really so bad?
