Sorry the revelation that Dan's car with the broken fuel gauge was a CORSA actually explains so much. You would not believe the amount of random shit that my dashboard tells me everyday on this car. I don't think I've ever taken it to the workshop without asking them to fix some notification on the dashboard that won't go away. Of course the fuel gauge was broken
#when i first got this car i freaked out everytime the tire pressure light went on#until i realised the sensors just shut themselves off anytime i go over 80 kph#useless feature. i love it so much#dan and phil#phan#car talk with sophia. hello. sorry. i also take the train and the tube sometimes

A Chevrolet Camaro’s tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) light turned on.
We noticed the system wasn’t reading the rear tires and learned that the rear tire sensors were dead.
If you see this symbol appear on your dashboard, it could also mean that you have a flat tire or multiple tires have been impacted by a drop in temperature.

my car lost a wheel cover last week so i ordered a new one and stressed all week about picking it up and putting it on and then i turned on my car this morning to go get the cover and now the tire pressure light is on. and you know how it just takes one small thing to break you when you're already fragile?
that fucking light breaks me every time.
#it comes on at least once during cooler weather#and it's a simple fix overall: just add air#but that involves finding quarters and going to the gas station and making sure the machine is free and then USING the machine and then and#there are sixteen steps between me and that light turning off again#and until then it just mocks me with uncertainty#is this just a weather shift kicking the sensor?#or am i going to have a flat tire?#and it always seems to turn on right when i am least able to deal with it#it's like it fucking knows#anyway#sugar baby life when???#cress post

alright i'll bite
how does your wii setup work?
(lavender is great btw)
so! the way the wii knows where you're pointing the remote is an infrared sensor, since it's 2006 and gyroscopes are too expensive or something. that's what the sensor bar is for, but all it does is produce infrared light in a consistently shaped area - the actual processing that figures out where you're pointing is all between the remote and the console. because of this, anything that produces a stable source of infrared light is a completely acceptable substitute for the sensor bar! two candles placed a bit apart from each other does the trick and after a while on that setup i can confidently say that it makes for a smoother and more accurate-feeling setup than my crusty 15 year old sensor bar ever did lmao
#i didn't plug the sensor bar back in when i moved it to my room because the thin ass cord made me irrationally autism angry lol#maybe one day i'll get tired of having to dig up matches every time i want to play the wii but for now i'm having the time of my life#ramuterasu

Spending $700 (that i dont have) to get my brakes fixed, before noon, is a pretty shitty way to spend my day. Only a dozen more things to fix on this shitbox of a car...
If you hear sobbing in the distance, thats me
#i asked how much to fix my tire sensors because i though it would be the next cheapest fix#itll cost me 400 dollars 🙃🙃🙃#just gonna keep saving to fix my heat/ac next hopefully before winter but i doubt it#shut up kyo#this shitbox is almost paid off id rather pay to fix it up than get a new car#my laundry list is long but not long enough to justify a new car ESPECIALLY with mine only having 53k miles 😭

Introduction
In the ever-evolving automotive and industrial vehicle sector, safety remains a top priority. One of the most critical aspects of vehicle safety is braking efficiency, especially in heavy-duty applications where lives and assets are at stake. LSM Technologies is at the forefront of innovative braking solutions, providing advanced systems designed to enhance vehicle safety and performance. Two of their most cutting-edge offerings include the Trailer Brake System and the Parkbrake Fail Safe System. These systems are engineered to provide superior braking reliability, preventing accidents and ensuring seamless operation across various industries.
This article will explore the importance of these braking systems, their functionalities, and how LSM Technologies is leading the way in vehicle safety innovation.
Understanding the Need for Advanced Brake Systems
Braking systems in commercial vehicles, trailers, and heavy equipment are crucial for operational safety. Without a reliable braking mechanism, the risks of collisions, rollbacks, and uncontrolled movement increase significantly. Traditional braking systems have limitations, particularly when dealing with large loads, steep terrains, or emergency situations.
LSM Technologies addresses these challenges by offering robust Trailer Brake Systems and Parkbrake Fail Safe System that enhance stopping power, maintain stability, and reduce wear and tear on vehicle components.
LSM Technologies’ Trailer Brake System
The Trailer Brake System is an essential component for commercial trailers, providing precise braking control to ensure safe and efficient stopping power. LSM Technologies has developed an advanced braking system that integrates seamlessly with modern trailers, enhancing safety and improving performance.
Key Features and Benefits of the Trailer Brake System
Enhanced Stopping Power
LSM Technologies’ Trailer Brake System ensures maximum braking efficiency, allowing trailers to stop safely even under heavy loads.
The system minimizes stopping distances, reducing the risk of collisions and improving overall road safety.
Automated Response Mechanism
The system incorporates automatic engagement during emergency braking scenarios.
This feature prevents runaway trailers and mitigates potential hazards in case of a brake failure.
Compatibility and Integration
LSM Technologies designs its braking system to work with a wide range of trailers, making it a versatile solution for different industries.
The system can be integrated with electronic braking systems (EBS) and anti-lock braking systems (ABS) for added safety.
Durability and Low Maintenance
Constructed using high-quality materials, the Trailer Brake System offers long-lasting performance.
It reduces wear on braking components, leading to lower maintenance costs over time.
Improved Stability and Control
The system helps maintain trailer stability, reducing the risk of jackknifing and trailer sway.
Operators gain better control over their vehicles, especially when maneuvering on steep or slippery roads.
Applications of the Trailer Brake System
The Trailer Brake System by LSM Technologies is widely used in industries such as:
Transportation and Logistics – Ensures safe delivery of goods over long distances.

Emergency and Military Vehicles – Offers reliable stopping power in high-risk operations.
LSM Technologies’ Parkbrake Fail Safe System
Apart from moving vehicles, stationary safety is equally crucial. Unattended or parked vehicles must remain in a fixed position to prevent rollaways, which can lead to severe accidents. LSM Technologies’ Parkbrake Fail Safe System is designed to eliminate the risks associated with parked vehicle movement.
How the Parkbrake Fail Safe System Works
The Parkbrake Fail Safe System automatically engages the parking brake when certain safety conditions are not met, ensuring that the vehicle does not move unintentionally. Unlike conventional handbrakes that rely solely on operator action, this system acts as a backup, engaging the brake even if the driver forgets to do so.
Key Features and Benefits of the Parkbrake Fail Safe System
Automatic Engagement
The system engages the parking brake in case of an emergency or if the driver fails to manually apply it.
It prevents unintended vehicle movement, reducing the likelihood of rollaway incidents.
Fail-Safe Mechanism
If there is a loss of air pressure or hydraulic failure, the system automatically activates the park brake to secure the vehicle.
This feature is critical for vehicles operating in demanding environments, such as mining and construction.
Driver and Asset Protection
The Parkbrake Fail Safe System protects both the operator and surrounding personnel by preventing uncontrolled vehicle movement.
It reduces liability and enhances workplace safety.
Customizable for Various Applications
The system can be adapted for use in different vehicle types, including trucks, trailers, heavy machinery, and public transport systems.
Reliable in Extreme Conditions
Designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, rugged terrains, and heavy-duty applications.
Ensures consistent performance even in extreme temperatures and demanding work environments.
Applications of the Parkbrake Fail Safe System
The Parkbrake Fail Safe System is particularly beneficial in:
Mining and Heavy Machinery – Prevents accidental rollaways in mining trucks and earth-moving equipment.
Public Transport and Emergency Vehicles – Ensures that buses and emergency vehicles remain securely parked.
Agricultural Equipment – Reduces the risk of unattended tractors and harvesters rolling away.
