Chairman Rose in the Tma au. He is a former victim of the Extinction turned Avatar for it. Even if he doesn't really realize that.

He had an experience with the Extinction when was younger. During it, he saw the future where the energy crisis he is so worried about in game happened, but much sooner and much worse than the scientists he had talked to said. What he saw was disastrous. A ruined Galar. The things he cared about gone.

So he vowed that he would save Galar. No matter what it took he would save his home from what he saw. Which is what led him to the stuff with Eternatus and the wishing stars.

Also Leon had an encounter with the Spiral when he was young which is why he is like that in this au.

And Leon may also become the Archivist post his Champion defeat. (Yes Jon is around but he's not going for Archivist again or by the time he actually gets to Galar when he gets back from reuniting with Martin in Unova, Leon had already been hired as Archivist. And the most he could do is be an Archival assistant or some other position in the institute.)

The reason why Leon applied for the job is because of a mixture of reasons. He had originally first gone to the institute to look for Rose's Statement, then he found out that he was related to the founder of the institute, one Professor Laventon, and then he also had a lot of free time after he was no longer champion. So he found out there was an opening for Archivist and since he had nothing better to do, he applied for the position.

Some tidbits for my TMA x PLA au:

Some pokemon get Fear variants. For example a Fear variant of Wurmple would be way smaller than a normal one and operate on a sort of hivemind with other ones like it and whatever Flesh Hive they make.

Jon, while in Hisui, to have fun for once in his sad miserable life. He gets some therapy mon as well. He sticks to Psychic types mostly.

Martin, in Unova, has less of a fun time. He does get some therapy mon as well though. He has either fluffy pokemon or bug types. He does get a joltik or two from Emmet.

I have settled on making Akari an End avatar in this au. Arceus gave her a "blessing" to help her not die. Instead of preventing her from dying it just brings her back again and again. She remembers each death but grows numb to its pain, barely noticing when she dies. She got used to it.

She barely noticed her last death as a human.

The Red Sky incident is what cemented the Fears into the world due to all the fear from people and pokemon. As a bonus Arceus is unable to keep reviving Akari.

During that last death a deal of sorts was made. Akari didn't want to die, for she needed to go home and the End, as much as a Fear could want, wanted the soul it had been denied so many times. So it took her and made her it's first avatar in this new world.

Emmet became an Eye avatar because of his ruthless search for answers. When he died he was put in a similar coma to Jon's. Unlike Jon's coma his 1)only lasts like 2-3 months and 2)gives him a view of Hisui from its citizens starting from the start of the Red Sky. As a bonus for becoming an Eye avatar he gets to figure out where his brother went, he also gets to see his brother slowly slip into the Lonely. He spends a lot more time in these "visions" than what actually passes in the real world.

Akari and Dawn were Identical twins. Dawn gets to stay normal and become the champion of Sinnoh.

Akari now looks more pale and has a silver streak in her once vibrant hair.

Annabelle Cane does also get yeeted to Hisui and just kinda hangs out with Cogita. She does explain a bit more about being an avatar to Akari During her stay at Cogita's.

And Johanna gets Not-Them-ed and only Akari and Palmer can remember the real her.
