The Mediterranean sun warms your exposed skin while the sea breeze keeps you from getting uncomfortably hot. The Roy's certainly knew how to take a vacation.
Roman lazily drapes his arm over your shoulders, the small act of casual intimacy in front of his siblings something you still can't really get used to just yet. The family, you learned pretty quickly, was not a clingy one, so Roman's constant need to be touching you in some way in front of them was unexpected.
You sigh happily at his side, ignoring the boring work talk the siblings had already immersed themselves in.
The weather was just too divine for you to focus on anything other than the free vacation and your boyfriend.
Shiv's piercing blue eyes peer curiously over her dark sunglasses. Her gaze causes you to straighten your back and shift ever so slightly away from Roman. You've noticed that her and Tom were never exactly touchy, but then again her and Tom were barely a loving couple.
The harsh scrutiny of her stare doesn't go unnoticed by Roman, who immediately pulls you back closer to him. Your cheeks flush at his blatant display of affection.
"Something the matter, Siobhan?" Roman asks, his voice slightly higher than usual with a British twang to it. His fingers absentmindedly trace odd shapes across your back. He sips at his cocktail, eyebrows raised waiting for her retort.
Shiv’s intense gaze slowly slides over to Kendall. Their older brother offers your group a half-assed shrug.
"Nothing at all, Roman." She offers you both a tight-lipped smile, swirling her white wine in front of her.
Awkwardly you lean back into him as he sarcastically grumbles something under his breath, unconvinced. Roman’s body in tense beside you, but stays firmly pressed next to your own.
Sounds of waves crashing against the yacht and distant conversations almost lure you to sleep though the three sibling’s chatter keeps you just conscious enough that you don’t completely drift off.
You hear Kendall get up from his seat, his joints popping.
"I'm gunna go check on dad," He says, voice low though he knows you're not actually asleep. "I'll catch you guys later."
"Just don't jump off the boat, Ken. We're not turning the ship around just for your old-ass." Roman jokes before yelping at Shiv's slap to the shoulder.
You hide your tiny grin with a fake yawn.
"Very funny, Rome," Ken mutters before leaving the three of you.
It's awkward, just the three of you alone; the tension is so thick it could be cut with a knife. Shiv clears her throat and you can only imagine the patronizing look she has on her face. Roman shifts, and most likely flips her off, but otherwise he's silent.
Moments later you hear the thud of expensive yet tacky yachting shoes against the floorboards, which could only mean Tom.
"Shiv, uh," The man stutters, obviously distracted by something. Slowly you open an eye, peering over at the man. "Why don't we go and uh, discuss that thing from before, huh?"
Tom's eyes can barely settle on one thing, he looks between you and Roman before only briefly settling on his wife. His cheeks are a little red, but with a man that pasty, it's sure to be a light sunburn.
"Oh yeah?" She asks, almost seductively, blue eyes twinkling with some hidden secret.
Tom's lips tilt down into a frown, now no longer even looking in your direction. He's jealous, you figure, you've never seen him and Shiv cuddled up like this, at least not comfortably so. Someone is always tense and irritated.
After sparing her husband a glance, you see her eyes narrow and her lips drawing into a tight line.
You offer them a smile while Roman once again gives a rude gesture.
Swiftly, Shiv rises from her seat, empty wine glass in hand. She barely gestures a simple goodbye before walking away with Tom. You watch as she says something to him, which makes him recoil from her.
You could only imagine what that was about, but you figure it was you and Roman.
You press your cheek even harder against Roman's chest, almost like you're trying to burrow your way under his skin. The fresh white linen shirt he's wearing is soft underneath you. His uncalloused fingertips continue to dance across your exposed arm.
He's no longer tense, you notice; his muscles are more relaxed now that his siblings are nowhere to be seen. Logan wasn't around either, which eased the thick and looming tension that usually hung around the family.
Roman chuckles, tangling his feet around yours.
"What's got you all giggly today?" You ask, closing your eyes as you soak in more of the warmth.
"I'm not giggly, thank you very much. Giggling is for school girls and wine drunk single moms."
"Yeah, ok," You snort, smiling.
"You're just all over me like a fucking uh--"
"Koala?"
"Nah, more like one of those bigass fucking boa constrictors, y'know the ones I'm talking about?"
"A boa constrictor?" You gasp, jokingly offended at his words. Shifting from your position you eye your boyfriend. "You asshole!" Grabbing a small pillow from beside you, you hit him square in the chest repeatedly.
You're hovering over him, knees on either side of his hips, pinning him to the couch below him.
"Hey, hey!" He laughs, attempting to grab your wrists. "This is domestic abuse! ABUSE! ABUSE! Greg call the cops, she's beating me!"
Somewhere in the distance you can only faintly hear Greg stutter something, but your laughter is too loud to actually make it out.
Roman finally grabs the decorative pillow out of your hands and flings it somewhere.
His brown hair is messy, strands dangle in front of his eyes, no longer slicked back and proper. The laughter dies down but his bright smile remains, melting your heart.
"You're an absolute prick, Roman Roy, y'know that?" You whisper, lips lingering right over his.
"Oh I know," He smirks, irritatingly handsome like usual, eyes flicking between your own and your lips. "And you fucking love it."
Surging up, his lips connect with yours, traces of coconut and pineapple left on his tongue. The sweetness of rum mingles with the fruity aftertaste.
Humming in satisfaction, you close your eyes and place your hands on either side of his face, leaning into the kiss. Roman's light scruff rubs against your palms.
Eventually you pull back in order to breathe in the salty Mediterranean air. Roman's lips chase after your own, hoping to continue and subsequently never stop again.
"Yeah, I do." You sigh, gazing at his eyes as they turn into a molten shimmering gold hue in the afternoon sun.

“Okay, okay. Wait. I got it this time.” You say, already trying to keep from laughing.
“Why were the kids having trouble in pirate class?”
Zoro only side-eyes you with his arms crossed, vehemently unimpressed.
“Because they were overbored!”
Watching for his reaction intently, you keep your eyes focused on his face... Nothing changes.
You tsk, but aren’t seriously discouraged. This is how he always reacts to your jokes, after all. “I’ll get you one of these days, Roronoa Zoro.”
The swordsman only sighs, leaning back into his seat to take a nap. “You do that.”
“Don’t listen to him, love.” Sanji says from the other side of the kitchen as he cleans the counter. “I thought that joke was good.”
“You’re lying, but I appreciate the sentiment, Sanji.” You grin at him. Focusing back on the book you were reading, you miss the amused, challenging look Sanji sends Zoro.
Everyone hears Luffy approaching the kitchen before he enters. “Guys!” He bellows. “We’ll be reaching land soon. Be ready to leave in fifteen minutes!”
The majority of the day is spent restocking supplies. You were all split up into pairs, but before you left, Luffy pointed to a restaurant with a flashy, illuminated sign on top that reads: ‘Bistro of Light’. How cringey of them.
“We should meet there for dinner! You don’t mind taking a break, right, Sanji?” Luffy asks eagerly, and you think that no one could say no to him when he’s so enthusiastic. Sanji nods, and you all go through the town until the sun starts to set.
The inside of the restaurant is just as ridiculous as the sign outside. Chandeliers of every color hang on the ceiling. Huge fish tanks and fountains lined with lights almost blind you. You laugh when looking at it all causes Zoro to wince.
“Hey Zoro,” You call for him. “You know what’s faster than the speed of light?”
“...”
“My heartbeat when I think of you!” You wink at him, proud of the joke even when he only sighs and looks away.
Usopp walks up to a receptionist standing behind a desk. “Hey. Table for six, if you would be so kind.”
“I’m afraid we’re at full capacity at the moment.” They respond. “You’ll have to wait, is that alright?”
Everyone shares a look. Except for Luffy, who looks dead set on eating here, you all feel unsure about waiting.
“When’s the next table going to be available?” Usopp asks. “We’re actually a really big deal. It’s gonna be really embarrassing for you guys if you don’t let us in.” The person frowns, face screaming, ‘is this guy serious’?
But before they can reply, a booming voice enters the restaurant. A tall man, dressed in a pristine white suit and wearing jewels on every finger, pushes you out of the way to yell at the receptionist. You stumble, but thankfully Zoro is there to catch you.
“What on earth is going on here?! Why are there so many people crowding the entryway?!” He fumes, angrily gesturing to your group.
“If they’re not going to eat, then I strongly suggest—” The rich man freezes suddenly, his eyes trained on you.
You keep your face as emotionless as possible, but you die laughing inside when Nami swipes a brooch from his jacket while he’s distracted with you.
“Ah,” The man says. His tone softening a considerable amount as he walks over to you. “I thought I had the best jewels in my treasury, but you're the most radiant gem I've ever laid my eyes on.” It takes everything in you to not back away. Zoro tenses beside you.
“Why haven’t these guests been guided to a table?” He asks, turning back to the receptionist.
“We’re at full capacity, Sir.” Oh. He must own the place. It makes sense that the owner is as gaudy as everything else in here.
“That won’t do.” He looks back to you, and you swear you could feel your skin crawl under his gaze.
“I am Helios. Welcome to my establishment.” The man introduces himself with a flourish, bowing to you. His jewels and gold accessories glint in the light. “What might your name be?”
Reluctantly, you introduce yourself. Had this been a normal situation, you would have turned around and walked away from him the second he saw you. But, you could feel the crew going hungry, and you’re sure Nami will want to snag another ring or two—so you play nice.
Helios smiles, repeating your name. He was probably trying to sound romantic, but he’s not doing anything for you. Not when Zoro says your name much better.
You keep Zoro’s voice in mind, remembering how nice it sounds. It’s easier to smile at Helios that way. Time to lay on the charm, “I was really looking forward to having dinner here. I don’t suppose you could help us out?”
“Follow me, my dear. You deserve to dine upstairs. The view is simply spectacular at this hour.” Helios holds out his hand to you, but Luffy—bless his soul—grabs it to shake it zealously.
“Thanks so much for letting us eat here, Mr. Helios!” Luffy claps him on the back. Helios looks dumbfounded, and the crew does an impressive job keeping their composure.
Helios tries to walk beside you as he guides you all upstairs, but Zoro is steadfast on your right, and Nami smartly positions herself on your left. Luffy and Usopp tug the restaurant owner along, chatting his ear off. You almost feel bad for him.
Nami murmurs, her voice carefully silent so only you can hear. “Treasury, huh?”
You smile. “Of course you’d be curious about that.”
“Think you could get us to his mansion?” She dares you, eyes aglow at the promise of a good heist.
“I know I can.” You pause walking to check your reflection on an ornate, sun-shaped mirror. After fixing your hair, you grin at your friends. “I’m irresistible, after all.”
Maybe if you weren’t busy buttering up your host, you would have noticed that Zoro wasn’t eating properly. Normally, you would force him to eat. You would pile food on his plate, telling that joke about fake noodles being impasta that always cracks you up.
Zoro frowns at the meal in front of him. The fish seems to frown back. Sighing, he decides to just order another drink. But no matter what he consumes, a bitter taste always blooms in his mouth afterwards.
The glass in his hand almost cracks when he hears your voice sucking up to Helios again. “So, you own this place? Do you live around here?”
Helios leans far too close towards you, but you grin and bear it. “Would you like a private tour, my gem?”
You place a hand on his arm, he may read it as affection, but you hold him so he keeps that distance. “That sounds wonderful.”
Zoro huffs under his breath. He needs another drink.
Thankfully, Helios serves good booze at his manor. Zoro almost didn’t want to drink any of it, but he needs alcohol in his system if he has to watch you flirt with this idiot so Nami can rob him blind. Whatever she steals better be worth all this, or else he might punch something. Or someone. Preferably Helios.
You share a look with Nami and give her an imperceptible nod. With that signal, she passes by and pretends to lose her footing. Wine seeps into your clothes, staining the fabric and sticking it to your skin. Did she really have to pick red wine? You liked this shirt.
“Oh, my dear!” Helios gasps. “You should get cleaned up. I’ll have my servants draw you a bath and bring you fresh clothes.”
“I’m so sorry, I should’ve watched where I was going.” Nami loops her arm through yours. “Let me help you with that.”
And so, with another fake smile sent Helios’ way, you rush with Nami to find the treasury.
“Be quick.” Nami says once you enter the luxurious bathroom prepared for you.
As tempting as the bubble bath is, you only take a few wet towels to tidy up. You step into the curtained area, about to strip when Nami holds out a hand to stop you.
“Wait.” She says, her tone serious. A teddy bear holding a rose is propped up on a shelf behind you. Tapping its eyes, Nami scowls before throwing the bear into the trash bin.
“A camera?” She nods. “Seriously? What a creep.”
You and Nami inspect the room. It’s not clear if there are other hidden cameras, but she stands guard in front of the shower curtains just in case.
“Hey,” She starts. “Did you notice Zoro acting weird tonight?”
You frown as you change into the dress Helios prepared. “What do you mean?”
Nami hums in thought. “He’s just…” A dumbass, she wants to say, but doesn’t. “He seems extra grumpy.”
That causes you to laugh. “I guess I should prepare more jokes for him when we get back.”
She winces. “...I’m not that sure he likes those.”
“Hm… Maybe not, but,” You pause to think. He may not laugh loudly as Luffy does, but he never shot you down for being bubbly around him. “Zoro would have told me to shut up by now if he didn’t, right?”
“Huh.” Nami says. “You got a point.”
You push the curtains aside, grinning at her. “Come on, let’s break into that treasury.”
“Of course, my gem.”
“Oh my god, if that sticks I’m going to be so mad.”
The treasury was a vault full of everything from jewels to ornamental weapons. Nami playfully crowned you with a diamond tiara, and she put on dangling emerald earrings that looked stunning on her.
After filling your bags and pockets with the most you can carry, you and Nami head out to find the others. You run into Usopp on the way back to the lounge.
“I see you two cleaned up well.” He jokes. “Luffy and Sanji are in the kitchen. I was just on my way there.”
“Where’s Zoro?” You ask.
“With Helios. You know him, still drinking.”
“We should leave soon.” Nami insists. “We risk getting caught the longer we stay.”
“Right.” You hand Usopp your bag, his eyes widen comically when he feels how heavy it is. “I’ll just go say goodbye, I’ll catch up with you guys later.”
Before you even enter the lounge, however, you hear Zoro speak your name. Are they talking about you? You press your back against the wall, straining to hear their conversation.
You almost wish you didn’t.
“She tells the worst jokes and doesn’t know when to quit it. Thinks she’s hilarious but she’s really not.” Zoro speaks in that deep voice that would usually be comforting to you—but his words now pierce through you painfully.
“What exactly is your relationship with her?” Helios asks, and Zoro is silent. It feels like your heart crumbles for every second he doesn’t answer.
You’re friends! You’ve been dreaming of more but, you’ve always been friends.
…Aren’t you? Doesn’t he think so?
“I don’t know.” Your heart fully shatters. What does he mean he doesn’t know? “She just sticks to me a lot. It can get annoying.”
“Well. That’s unfortunate, but it’s nothing to sob over.” Helios kisses his teeth. “I don’t care about her attitude. All that doesn’t matter as long as she has that pretty face.”
You wait for Zoro to say something. Anything. You want him to cut Helios where he stands.
But he doesn’t. The silence drags on. The air feels like it’s pushing you down, crushing your lungs. You have to get out of here.
You burst into the kitchen, trying your best not to cry. Nami immediately rushes to you, holding your shoulders to steady you. “What happened?”
Letting out a shuddered breath, you whisper, “You were right.” It’s impossible to think straight right now. “I want to leave.”
You look to Luffy, still shaken up. Your captain’s expression is serious as he nods. “Go ahead, we’ll get Zoro and catch up.” Not needing to be told twice, you head out the door.
Before she follows you, Nami hisses at Sanji, “Talk some sense into that dumbass, won’t you?”
The entire walk back to the Going Merry is silent. You’re grateful Nami doesn’t immediately press you for what happened, but you know that you should answer her questions. You finally get the words out in the safety of her cabin.
You sit cross-legged on the bed, and everything comes pouring out. “He called me annoying.”
“Zoro?” She asked, offering you a box of tissues.
“Yeah.” You sniff, taking the box.
“I’m sorry. That was fucked up of him to say.”
Unsure how to properly comfort you, Nami gets up and retrieves extra pillows from a storage compartment.
“Why don’t we have a girl’s night?” Nami asks, offering you a smile. It pulls a smile out of you too, the first one you mustered since Zoro crushed your spirit.
“I’d like that.”
Zoro is confused to find that you and Nami had left before them. Luffy gave Helios some lame excuse that you weren’t feeling well, but Zoro knew better. If you were really sick, the whole crew would be panicking and rushing to get to you.
He stares at Sanji and Usopp, trying to piece together what really happened. They both turn away from him, refusing to say anything.
In the next second, a maid rushes out, panting and screaming, “Mr. Helios! The treasury has been robbed!”
Fine. Answers can come later. For now, they need to run.
Once they’re back on the ship, Sanji follows Zoro into his cabin. He stares at the chef blankly, “Get out.”
“Did you do something?” Sanji leans against the doorframe, crossing his arms over his chest.
“Get out.” Zoro repeats, about to push him out of the room when Sanji speaks your name.
“She was upset. Asked to leave as soon as possible.” Sanji’s gaze is almost menacing, and his frown deepens when Zoro’s face falls. So, that’s what happened. You had heard him.
“Fuck.” Zoro groans, running a hand through his hair in frustration.
“Everyone noticed you getting bitchy over Helios.” Sanji notes “Did you confront him or something?”
Scoffing, Zoro sits on his hammock, the fabric dips under his weight. “It was something, all right.”
Wanting Zoro to explain himself unpromptedly, Sanji just watches him and lets the silence hang in the air. After a solid, suffocating minute, the swordsman caves.
“I called her annoying.” Zoro breathes out deeply. “I said her jokes aren’t funny and that she sticks to me a lot.”
“Man, that’s screwed up.” Sanji gapes. “I thought you cared about her?”
“Of course I do, but I didn’t say anything that wasn’t true.” Zoro defends. “Luffy’s the only one who laughs at her jokes, and she’s always by my side.”
Sighing, Zoro continues, “...but I never minded any of it. I learned to care for those parts of her a long time ago. I was only trying to get that shithead off her back.”
“You’re an idiot.” Sanji concludes. “You have the emotional depth of a sink, sometimes.”
Zoro, surprisingly, doesn’t insult the chef back. He stares at the wall, slouched and looking the most empty Sanji’s ever seen him.
“What should I do?” He asks. “How should I make it up to her?”
Sanji’s eyes light up, he beams and claps his hands together in excitement. Even if Zoro hasn’t heard it yet, he already dreads the chef’s suggestion.
“I have an idea.”
When you woke up the next morning, you had every intention of avoiding Zoro like the plague. It was still really difficult to look at him, the hurt you felt still stings your heart.
But unfortunately for you, he had other plans.
You’re gazing out into the sea on the forecastle deck when you hear a familiar set of heavy footsteps. You sigh. “I don’t want to talk, Zoro.”
“I’m not here to talk.” You turn to him questioningly, but you really shouldn’t give him the time of day. Wasn’t he the one who complained about you clinging to him?
You don’t say anything. Only glaring at him and hoping he sees how disappointed you feel. Zoro stands here, appearing strangely vulnerable. If you weren’t so hurt, you would have hugged him by now.
But you are. So he has to wallow in the awkwardness of the consequences of his words. He—wait. What’s that on his face?
“I…” Is he… blushing? “I’m sorry I wasn’t around in the past.”
You make a face and blink at him. What is he up to?
“...Can I be part of your future?”
That knocks the wind right out of you, your jaw practically falls to the floor. Did Roronoa Zoro just use a pickup line? On you? You can’t help but glance at your surroundings to check if the sky is still blue.
No—hold on. He can’t win you over just like that. He needs to explain why he said what he did.
“You said my jokes are the worst.” You grumble.
“They are.” Zoro looks straight into your eyes as he speaks. “But you’re one of the best things to ever happen to me.”
“You said I always stick to your side.”
He doesn’t miss a beat and answers earnestly, “You do. And I wouldn’t want you to be anywhere else.”
“…You said you didn’t know what our relationship is.”
That causes Zoro to pause, searching your eyes as if he’ll find the answer in them. “…I don’t.”
Oh, this impossible sword-brain of a man. Your lips quiver, and you realize you can’t fight back your smile anymore. “I love you, Zoro.”
His expression shifts from anxiousness to shock, relief, and a bit of something else...
“I love you, too.” Ah, of course. Love, that too.
Slowly, tentatively, he raises his arms, inviting you to an embrace. He’s adorable, looking a teensy bit nervous that you wouldn’t want to hold him. Giggling, you rush to him, wrapping your arms around his waist as he envelops your shoulders.
“I bet Sanji taught you to apologize with that line.” You murmur into his chest. “If you tell me another one…” Zoro cringes, his frame tensing.
“...I’ll give you a kiss.” His expression lifts, seriously considering it.
After a minute, Zoro clears his throat. You almost squeal in excitement.
“Roses are red, violets are blue…” A classic. This is going to be good.
“I’m sorry if I made you feel awkward, I just want to have dinner with you.” You gasp, squeezing him tighter.
“Yes! That was perfect.” Laughing, you reach up and hold his face to keep your promise.
You plant a sweet, short kiss on his lips. When you pull away, he’s looking at you like he would fight anyone for you. He probably would, if you’re being honest.
“You’re perfect.” He breathes, mouth against yours and then he’s kissing you again.
Hiding behind a pile of crates, the rest of the crew whoop and cheer. (Silently.)
“That was such a good line!” Luffy whispers.
“I still think he should have used the ‘I don’t speak angel’ one.” Usopp whispers back.
“What are you talking about?!” Sanji angrily, quietly mutters. “That was perfect because he apologized and delivered the line.”
“Shut it, you guys. I was right, he didn’t last a day with her mad at him.” Nami holds out her palm. “Pay up.” The others groan, handing her some berry. All’s well that ends well.

Drunk calls
Fernando Alonso x Reader
Summary: You're drunk on your night out and accidentally call your boss, Fernando.
Word count: 1.5k
Tags: Female reader, drunk reader, fluff, Nando comforting reader, boss x employee relationship, not beta read
Relationships: Fernando Alonso x Reader
Notes: Anon requested drunk reader and sober nano, so i just ran with it and wrote a little something while on hangover from the new year party. (Also that ONE pic George Russell posted of him and Nando!!!!)
Hope you enjoy it, Anon!
Find me on Twitter!
As you left the toilet, you felt your legs wobbly as you supported yourself on the wall. You had been clubbing with your friends for a couple of hours now, but a few minutes ago you couldn’t find them, and you looked all around.
Pulling your phone from your purse, you called your bestie to try and find out where she was. As soon as she picked up, you started talking.
“Hi, Hanna! Where are-” You hiccuped, “where are you? I think I’m too drunk now, I can’t find you or the girls, and my head is pounding already, and I can’t walk straight.”
“Y/N?” A male voice asked.
“Who the fuck are you?” You frowned.
“It’s Fernando, you just called me,” he said and you turned your phone seeing that you had actually called him instead of your friend.
“Oh, shit! I’m so sorry, boss!” You said and immediately hung up.
Fuck, you drunk called your boss on your day off. That was most certainly grounds for a reprimand. You had been working as his assistant for almost a year now, and had only been super professional and dedicated to doing your work. You and Fernando had been friendly and settled into a great work dynamic. So accidentally calling him like this would probably cause problems for you.
You didn’t even have time or energy to blame yourself too long as your phone buzzed with an incoming call from Fernando. You immediately hit decline. But barely a second later he called you again. Shit, he probably would tear you a new one. You hit decline again. You started sweating, god, you needed to go home, you needed to eat and you needed to plan a big apology for the next time you see your boss again.
Then two texts appeared coming from Fernando.
“Where are you?” “Pick up the call”
And then he called you again, and you picked it up this time preparing for him to go off on you.
“Where are you?” He breathed loudly.
“I’m at a club with my friends,” you stuttered a little bit, both because of the alcohol and because you were worried he might fire you on the spot.
“You said you lost them. Have you found your friends?”
“No, not really. But it’s okay, I’m gonna go home already!” You hoped you were sounding a little bit more confident.
“How?”
“What?”
“How are you going to go home?” He asked, voice serious.
“I’m gonna call a cab or something. Don’t worry!” Please, sound sober, please sound sober.
“Send me the address, I’m gonna pick you up.”
“No, no! It’s your day off too, you don’t have to worry I’ll be fine! Really, I promise I’m going straight home right-”
“I wasn’t asking. Send the address.” He cut you off and hung up.
Cursing and sweating, you sent him your location, walking slowly to the exit, still trying to locate your friends. As you made it outside, you leaned against the wall, feeling a little better with the fresh gust of wind outside the packed club. You flexed your knees because your heels were feeling like a fucking thousand needles punching the sole of your feet. You should listen to your younger sister and start wearing sneakers to the club.
After a few minutes, you saw a scandalous rich man’s car pulling up and you knew it’s Fernando. He stopped by the sidewalk and came walking to you. He was wearing slacks and a white button up, simple but classy. You had seen in his schedule before that he was going to go out with friends for dinner. So that’s probably where he came from.
He didn’t look too pissed at you but he didn’t look happy either, his face was rather neutral.
“How are you feeling?” He asked as he stopped in front of you. He was holding a water bottle, which he promptly opened and gave to you.
“I have been better, not gonna lie,” you said, and proceeded to drink almost the whole bottle of water.
“Why are you flexing your knees?” He asked.
“Because the heels are killing me.”
Silently, Fernando knelt in front of you and unbuckled the straps of your heels around your ankles.
“Off, now” he said, patting your calves, then offering you a hand so you could step out of the shoes.
“Jesus, thank you,” you mumbled, relieved to be barefoot finally, “I’m sorry, you didn’t have to pick me up.”
“I’m here already, quit whining,” he dismissed you, holding your forearm, “can you walk to the car?”
“Just give me a hand,” you asked, still a little unbalanced. You jolted a little when you felt Fernando’s hands on your thighs but he didn't touch you, he just pulled the hem of your dress down, since it was dangerously close to showing too much and maybe accidentally flashing everyone.
Fernando circled an arm around your waist, pulling you flush to his side, keeping you standing all the way to his car, holding your heels with the other hand. You looked to the side of his face, and you were suddenly hit with the realization that Fernando is really, really attractive.
“Damn, you’re handsome!”
It honestly slipped past your lips and you felt your cheeks warm up, embarrassed for saying that out loud, but Fernando only laughed a little, and kept walking you to his car, only stopping to open the door and put you in the passenger seat.
As you took the seat, he stared at your face, trying to catch any signs of something in your face. You blinked, staring into his beautiful greeny brown eyes, and he just huffed, pulling the seat belt and locking it around you.
When he finally started driving, the silence deafening, you looked at his side profile.
“Are you upset? I’m sorry! I promise I’ll behave.”
“I’m not upset. Though I will be a little annoyed if you throw up in my Aston Martin,” he said with a small smile.
“No throwing up happening anytime soon!” You raised your hand, held it in a cross and kissed it, “I’m actually really hungry”
Fernando clicked his tongue and reached for the backseat with one hand, pulling a Burger King brown bag. You smelled the food and you smiled.
“Oh my god! You’re a savior!” You opened the bag, which had your favorite burger and big sized fries, “this is my favorite!”
You ate quietly for a couple of minutes then a thought hit you.
“How do you know I like eating Burger King after getting drunk?” You said, and Fernando looked at you, opened the glove box and handed you a tissue.
“I know you well,” was all he said. He ended up driving you to his place, and you decided to question it.
“Why did you drive me here?” You walked in, sitting on the couch.
“What do you mean?” He looked confused.
“Ugh, never mind!” You stood up but the quick movement made you stumble and Fernando quickly held you in place.
“Careful!” He put both hands on your waist, in a way that felt very intimate.
You turned to face him, and he smiled softly, his hand now on your lower back. Then, you touched his eyebrow with the tip of your finger.
“I like your eyebrows.”
“Gracias.”
“And your beard too,” you cupped his face, feeling the roughness of his beard against your palm.
“Vamos, you need a shower,” he carefully walked you up the stairs and then inside the bedroom, straight to the bathroom.
Fernando turned you around and pulled down the zipper on your back. You gasped, holding the dress in place and turning to face him.
“You can’t undress me!”
He turned around, laughing.
“Ok, get in the shower and I’ll get you some clothes, eh?”
You showered, and when you left, a towel around your body, Fernando had left a small pile of clothes inside. There was a big t-shirt and sports shorts that you dressed. He also left you a toothbrush, which seemed very thoughtful of him.
When you walked back to the room, Fernando had changed into comfy clothes, and he was waiting for you sitting on the bed.
“Are you sobering up?” He asked.
And you just nodded, sleepy, crawling into his lap and snuggling into his chest, pressing your nose to his neck.
“Yup.”
“Then you remember who I am?”
“You’re Fernando!” He laughed a little, kissing the top of your head.
“No, amor,” he leaned back, cradling your face with one hand, and pulling your right hand with the other, “I’m your fiancé.”
Wide eyed, you stared at the big diamond ring in your finger. Then, you finally remembered, your fiancé, your beloved Nano. Who had been your boss sometime two years ago, and you resigned when you realized you had feelings for him. In the end, he had gone after you because he harbored the same feelings for you.
You ended up laughing out loud, so hard that there were tears in your eyes.
“God, I’m never drinking again!”
“It’s cute that you forgot like this,” he laughed too.
You held his face, kissing him softly. His hand ran up your back, under your shirt. You wanted more, trying to deepen the kiss, but he just held you back.
“Sleep now, eh? Tomorrow I will wake you up with besos.”

I hunger for... yandere cookie run...
So, imagine yandere ancients cookies meeting their good old friend (who they still have a huge crush on) traveling with the brave gang!
And when any of them tries to convince reader to stay with them, Y/N cookie immediately turn down the offer and said that they'll stick with the brave gang until dark enchantress cookie is finally defeated.
I hope this ask goes through💔 and I'll be fish anon from now on
-🐟
Gotta Go (The Ancient Cookies)
Pure Vanilla Cookie and Black Raisin Cookie would want to thank Y/N Cookie by asking if they wanted to stick around and help with the Vanilla Kingdom.
Since DE is defeated for now, you actually grant this request and stick around with Brave and the others to help patch up things in the place…all the while Pure Vanilla and Black Raisin crowd you wanting to chat, lol.
Barely having enough time to process the dragon being defeated had you being scooped up and squeezed tightly by Hollyberry Cookie. You were just so cute fighting the dragon like that, Princess Cookie would agree!
Jungleberry and Royal Berry would ask if you had to stay for a celebratory feast, it was the least they could do to commend you for your efforts. Hollyberry is there to try and butter you up, but you had DE to stop and didn’t have the time. The Teo royals understand, but Hollyberry is insisting she comes along to keep you safe!
Dark Cacao Cookie couldn’t thank you enough for the efforts you and the group put to ward off the licorice threat and snap him out of his corruption. He insists that a warrior like you would be at home in the Dark Cacao Kingdom.
Caramel Arrow would insist on Cacao’s offer, saying that by staying, you’d be a constant inspiration for her and the other warriors to train and fight harder. This gets DCA on the protective side, his asking of you to come to the kingdom being urgent, he did not want to leave you to get twisted into an evil mockery of yourself.
You wouldn’t realize it yet, but Golden Cheese Cookie had gotten more attached to you then you expected, it seemed not even GC was immune to the effect you had on cookies. She focused on you and how you were doing much more than the group, something that would annoy Black Raisin to no end.
It would all come to a head where she’d offer you to be a permanent resident to her kingdom, but you had to refuse, saying that DE had to be stopped no matter what, but GC insisted! She grew worried, this war shouldn’t matter more to you than your own life. You should just STAY HERE where you couldn’t get hurt under her watch, she’s not letting you leave out of fear that she’ll endure the same pain she had endured years ago…
White Lily Cookie didn’t like the sound of your plan, were you really going to face Dark Enchantress Cookie? It sounded too dangerous for you, you can get hurt or something even worse! She’ll help you, but it meant that you had to stay back as she and the others handled DE.
But you refused, you had been on this mission since the start, you weren’t going to back out now. But White Lily believes that your life can be more fruitful if you remained here…with her. So please….stay. You couldn’t, you wanted to see this until the end. The others were counting on you…
White Lily wanted to protest, when she realized that you’re in a crosshairs of a particular group of cookies….

The sterile scent of the clinic filled the air as you sat in the waiting room, nervously tapping your foot against the tiled floor. The crinkle of a magazine in your lap was the only thing distracting you from the tight knot in your stomach.
It was a familiar setting—nothing new about doctor's offices, after all. I mean you'd been to the doctor's before. But today felt different. Monumental.
Jake sat beside you, his hand resting on your knee, his thumb brushing small, soothing circles. Every so often, his gaze would flicker over to you, checking in silently. His calm presence should have grounded you, but the nerves were relentless, pulsing under your skin. This wasn’t just any appointment. This was the first time you’d be seeing your baby.
“Breathe,” Jake murmured softly, his voice low so only you could hear. “You’re squeezing the life out of that magazine.”
You glanced down, realizing your knuckles were white as you gripped the edges of the glossy pages.
You let out a shaky breath and loosened your hold, giving him a small smile. “I didn’t even notice.”
“I did,” he said with a teasing grin, but his eyes were soft. “It’s gonna be okay.”
You wanted to believe him. You wanted to feel that same confidence radiating from him, but the fear was still there, gnawing at the edges of your mind. What if something was wrong? What if—
The sound of your name being called jolted you out of your thoughts. You stood up, your legs feeling like jelly beneath you, and Jake rose with you, his hand slipping into yours. His grip was firm, reassuring, as you followed the nurse down the hallway, your heart pounding in your chest.
The exam room was small but cozy, with pale blue walls and an exam bed in the center. The ultrasound machine sat next to it, and just seeing the equipment sent another wave of nerves washing over you. This was really happening.
The nurse smiled kindly, gesturing for you to take a seat on the exam table. “We'll have you go ahead and undress from the waist down. You can lie back and make yourself comfortable. The doctor will be in shortly.”
As you lay back, the flimsy paper sheet thing they had given you covered your midsection down to your thighs. Your stomach twisted with anticipation. Your mind raced with a thousand thoughts, but Jake was there. He took your hand, his thumb tracing small patterns on the back of your hand.
“It’s gonna be okay,” he repeated, his voice steady and calm. “Whatever happens, we’re in this together.”
You nodded, swallowing hard. You wanted to believe him—to trust that everything would be fine—but the uncertainty still clung to you.
Moments later, the doctor entered, a friendly smile on her face as she introduced herself. She explained what would happen at this appointment in a calm, soothing tone, but you barely registered the words. Your mind was too busy spinning with possibilities. Would there be a heartbeat? Would everything look normal?
The doctor dimmed the lights and began preparing the ultrasound machine. Your breath hitched as she spread the cool gel across your abdomen, and you instinctively squeezed Jake’s hand a little tighter. His other hand moved to brush a stray hair from your forehead, his eyes never leaving yours.
“You ready?” he whispered.
“I don’t know,” you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper.
Jake leaned closer, his forehead almost touching yours. “No matter what, we’ll figure it out. You’re not in this alone.”
His words gave you just the slightest bit of comfort, enough to make you nod as Dr. Bennett pressed the probe gently against your belly. The room went silent for a moment, the sound of the machine whirring softly in the background as the image on the screen flickered to life.
And then you heard it.
A soft, rhythmic thump. Steady and strong.
You blinked, your breath catching in your throat. There it was. The heartbeat. Your baby’s heartbeat.
“There we go,” the doctor said with a smile, her eyes focused on the screen. “Everything looks good so far. Strong heartbeat.”
You stared at the monitor, unable to tear your eyes away from the little flicker of life that appeared on the screen. Your baby. It was so small, just a tiny blip, but it was there. Real. Alive.
Jake’s hand tightened around yours, and when you looked over at him, you saw the same awe mirrored in his expression. His eyes were fixed on the screen, his usual confident, laid-back demeanor replaced by something softer—something you had never seen before.
His lips parted slightly as if he was about to say something, but no words came out. He was just as overwhelmed as you were.
Tears pricked at your eyes, the emotion of it all finally hitting you. You hadn’t realized how much you’d been holding in until this moment—until you saw the heartbeat, heard that steady rhythm, and knew that everything was okay.
Jake finally spoke, his voice quiet but filled with awe. “That’s… that’s our baby.”
You nodded, too choked up to speak, the tears spilling over. Jake’s hand moved from yours to gently brush them away, his touch tender and reassuring.
“Hey,” he whispered, leaning in closer. “It’s okay. Everything’s okay.”
You nodded again, but this time it wasn’t out of fear or doubt. It was because you finally believed it. Everything was going to be okay.
The doctor smiled warmly, snapping a few images for you to take home before wiping the gel off your stomach. “You’re measuring right on track. I’ll see you again in four weeks, but everything looks great.”
As she left the room, Jake turned to you, his eyes still wide with disbelief but now filled with a quiet kind of joy. “That was… I don’t even know how to describe it.”
“I know,” you whispered, your heart still racing from the rush of emotions. “I can’t believe it either.”
He reached out, gently placing a hand on your stomach, where the gel had just been wiped away. His touch was soft, reverent, as if he was afraid to press too hard. “We’re really doing this, huh?”
You covered his hand with yours, feeling the warmth of his skin against yours. “Yeah,” you said, your voice full of wonder. “We really are.”
Jake smiled, a soft, genuine smile that made your heart ache with affection. And for the first time since finding out, you felt the panic slip away. You were scared, yes—but with Jake by your side, you knew you could handle whatever came next.
Together.
* * * * *
You stood in front of the mirror, towel wrapped loosely around your body as you brushed your hair, your reflection catching your eye more than usual. Something had changed. It was subtle—barely noticeable unless you really looked—but it was there. The soft curve of your belly, just below the towel line, had begun to take shape.
You placed your hand on it, fingers tracing the gentle swell. It felt strange, unfamiliar, and yet… there was something deeply comforting about it. A quiet reminder of the life growing inside you, inching its way into the world.
Jake was in the other room, probably scrolling through his phone or flipping channels, oblivious to the tiny moment of realization you were having. The baby bump hadn’t fully registered with you yet either, but standing here, in the soft morning light filtering through the bathroom window of his place, you couldn’t deny it. Your body was changing. The bump was there.
Part of you wanted to hide it for a little longer, to savor this secret for yourself. But a bigger part—one that was filled with excitement and curiosity—wanted to share it with Jake. To see the look on his face when he realized just how real this was becoming.
After drying off and slipping into one of Jake’s old t-shirts, you wandered into his bedroom where he was sprawled on the bed, head propped on one hand as he absentmindedly flicked through a football game.
You leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed, a small smile tugging at your lips as you watched him. He didn’t even notice you at first, too engrossed in the game. But eventually, he must have sensed your gaze, because he turned his head, his eyes finding yours instantly.
“Hey,” he said, grinning lazily. “What’s up?”
You hesitated for a moment, chewing on your bottom lip before you took a deep breath and stepped closer to the bed. “I… I want to show you something.”
Jake raised an eyebrow, pushing himself up to sit on the edge of the bed, his curiosity piqued. “What is it?”
Your heart fluttered with nerves, but you moved to stand in front of him, the oversized t-shirt hanging loosely on your frame. You took another breath, then lifted the hem of the shirt just enough to reveal the small, gentle swell of your belly.
Jake’s reaction was immediate. His eyes widened, his breath catching as he stared at the bump, the soft curve that hadn’t been there before. For a moment, he didn’t say anything—he just looked, like he couldn’t quite believe what he was seeing.
Then, slowly, a smile spread across his face. Not just any smile—one of those rare, breathtaking smiles that lit up his whole face, eyes crinkling at the corners, as if he’d just discovered something truly magical.
“Is that…?” he started, his voice soft with awe, before trailing off. He reached out, his hand hovering near your belly like he was asking permission.
You nodded, unable to speak past the lump in your throat.
His hand made contact, fingers splayed gently over the bump, as if he was afraid to press too hard. He rubbed his thumb lightly against your skin, tracing the small curve with a mixture of wonder and joy. It was like he couldn’t get enough of the moment—couldn’t wrap his head around the fact that this was real.
“That’s… that’s our baby.”
You smiled, tears welling up in your eyes as you looked down at him, his expression so full of love it made your heart ache. “Yeah,” you whispered back. “I'm starting to show.”
Jake shook his head slightly, still in awe, his hand moving slowly over the bump like he was trying to memorize the feel of it. “I can’t believe it,” he murmured, his gaze never leaving your stomach. “I mean… I know we’ve been talking about it, but seeing this—it’s real, isn’t it?”
You nodded, feeling the same mix of disbelief and excitement swirling inside you. “Yeah,” you said softly. “It’s real.”
He looked up at you then, his eyes shining with emotion. “You look beautiful,” he said, his voice low and sincere. “Even more beautiful than before.”
A warm flush spread across your cheeks at his words, but before you could respond, Jake stood up, pulling you gently into his arms. His hands settled on your waist, his thumbs brushing the bump as he pressed a soft kiss to your forehead.
“I can’t believe I missed this,” he said with a small laugh, his lips still close to your skin. “How long have you noticed?”
You leaned into him, resting your head against his chest as you let out a quiet laugh. “Not long,” you admitted. “I only really noticed today.”
Jake pulled back slightly, just enough to look at you. “Well, I’m glad you showed me,” he said, his smile still lighting up his face. “I don’t want to miss any of this. Not a single second.”
You reached up, cupping his cheek with your hand, your thumb brushing over his stubbled jaw. “You won’t,” you whispered, your voice thick with emotion. “We’re in this together, remember?”
He nodded, leaning down to press a kiss to your lips—soft and sweet, filled with all the emotions neither of you could quite put into words.
As the kiss ended, Jake’s hands found their way back to your belly, his fingers brushing over the bump again. He looked down, his face full of wonder as if he still couldn’t believe what he was seeing.
“This is crazy,” he murmured with a small chuckle, shaking his head. “But it’s also… amazing.”
You smiled, your heart swelling with affection for him. “Yeah,” you said softly. “It really is.”
Jake wrapped his arms around you again, pulling you close, and for the first time, the two of you just stood there, holding each other, feeling the tiny life growing between you. It was a quiet, beautiful moment—a shared realization that everything was changing, but in the best way possible.
* * * * *
The soft hum of the ultrasound machine filled the small exam room as you lay back on the table, Jake seated beside you, his hand tightly holding yours. The lights were dim, and the air was thick with a mix of nerves and anticipation. You weren’t sure if it was the faint chill of the gel the technician had spread across your belly or the fact that in just a few minutes, everything would feel a little more real.
Jake squeezed your hand, his thumb rubbing small circles into your palm, silently telling you that he was right there with you, just as anxious and excited as you were. You turned your head to look at him, catching the faintest hint of a smile on his face, though his eyes were glued to the monitor in front of you.
“Alright, let’s take a look,” the technician said, her voice calm and friendly as she moved the ultrasound wand over your belly. The screen flickered with shapes and shadows, the sound of the baby’s heartbeat filling the room, a rhythmic thud that made your own heart skip a beat.
Jake’s grip on your hand tightened slightly as both of you stared at the screen, trying to make sense of the images. The technician moved the wand slowly, explaining the different parts—the baby’s head, arms, legs. But the moment you’d both been waiting for was still ahead.
“Are you ready to find out?” the technician asked, her eyes flicking between the two of you.
You nodded, biting your lip, a nervous excitement bubbling up inside you. Jake leaned closer, his eyes wide with anticipation.
The technician smiled, and with a small movement of the wand, she pointed at the screen. “Congratulations,” she said softly. “You’re having a baby boy.”
The words hung in the air for a moment, sinking in. A boy. You felt Jake’s hand tense, then relax as a slow grin spread across his face. He glanced at you, his eyes shining with pure, unfiltered joy.
“A boy,” he murmured, the words barely audible, as if he was saying them more to himself than to you.
You smiled back at him, your heart full. “Yeah,” you whispered. “A boy.”
Jake let out a small laugh, his free hand moving to rest on your belly, his thumb brushing over the slight bump. “A little man,” he said, his voice filled with wonder. “I can’t believe it.”
You couldn’t help but laugh softly, the relief and excitement finally washing over you. Everything felt a little more real now, a little more tangible. You had a son—a baby boy who was going to turn your entire world upside down in the best possible way.
After a few more minutes of watching the baby wiggle on the screen, the technician handed you some printed images from the scan, and soon you and Jake were heading out of the clinic, stepping into the cool air of the parking lot.
The ride home was quiet at first, the two of you still processing the news. Jake’s hand rested on your thigh as he drove, the soft buzz of the radio playing in the background. You glanced over at him, noticing how he was still grinning like a kid on Christmas morning.
“You’re really excited, huh?” you teased, though the warmth in your voice gave away just how much you loved seeing him this happy.
Jake glanced at you, his smile widening. “Hell yeah, I’m excited. We’re having a boy. That’s… that’s huge.”
You nodded, feeling the same excitement bubbling up again. “I know. It’s crazy.”
A comfortable silence settled between you, but you could feel Jake thinking, his mind already racing ahead. And then, almost predictably, he asked the question you’d been waiting for.
“So,” he started, his tone casual but with a hint of curiosity, “have you thought about any names?”
You let out a small laugh, turning to look at him. “Of course I’ve thought about names,” you said. “I’ve been scrolling through Pinterest boards for weeks now. I’ve got a whole list.”
Jake raised an eyebrow, glancing at you briefly before focusing back on the road. “Oh yeah? Let’s hear ‘em.”
You pulled your phone out, scrolling through your saved baby names. “Okay, well… I’ve always liked the name ‘Caleb.’ It’s kind of classic but not too common, you know?”
Jake nodded thoughtfully. “Caleb’s nice. What else you got?”
“Uh, let’s see… there’s ‘Wyatt,’ ‘Eli,’ and ‘Noah,’” you said, rattling off a few more names you’d saved.
Jake seemed to consider them for a moment, but then he let out a soft chuckle. “Those are good,” he said, his tone warm. “But, uh, I was kind of thinking about something more… I don’t know, meaningful? Maybe a family name.”
You raised an eyebrow, curious now. “A family name?”
Jake nodded, glancing at you again. “Yeah, like… well, my granddad’s name was ‘Jameson.’ I always thought that was a strong name. And my dad’s middle name was ‘Robert.’”
“Jameson Robert,” you repeated, testing it out. “That’s pretty solid.”
Jake smiled, clearly pleased. “Right? It sounds like a name you could grow into. A name with some weight behind it.”
You couldn’t help but grin at how serious he sounded. It was clear Jake had already been thinking about this—probably long before today. “I like it,” you said. “But we don’t have to decide right now. We’ve still got time to figure it out.”
Jake nodded, his hand giving your thigh a gentle squeeze. “Yeah, you’re right. I just… I don’t know, I kind of like the idea of carrying on some of the family names. But I’m open to anything.”
You smiled, leaning back in your seat as you watched the landscape pass by outside the window. “We’ll figure it out together,” you said softly. “Besides, we’ve still got a few months to pick the perfect name.”
Jake chuckled, glancing at you with that easy, warm smile of his. “Yeah,” he said. “But I’m calling it now—he’s gonna be a little Jameson.”
You laughed, shaking your head. “We’ll see about that.”
The rest of the drive home was filled with easy conversation, tossing baby names back and forth and laughing about which ones definitely didn’t make the cut. You felt lighter than you had in weeks, the excitement of the day settling into something quieter, something deeper.
By the time you pulled into the driveway, the two of you hadn’t landed on a final name, but it didn’t matter. You still had time. What mattered was that you were in this together—building a family, one moment at a time.
* * * * *
You stood in the small bedroom of your apartment, surveying the space that had felt cozy just a few months ago but now seemed increasingly cramped with the realization that a baby was on the way. Jake was pacing the floor, tossing around ideas for rearranging the furniture, while you tried to mentally picture how everything could fit.
“What if we move the dresser to the other side?” Jake suggested, pointing toward the corner where a floor lamp barely fit. “Then we could push the bed over, and maybe…” He paused, considering the layout again. “I don’t know, it just feels tight in here.”
You sighed, running a hand through your hair. “Yeah, it’s going to be a challenge. I wasn’t exactly planning on having a baby when I moved in here.”
Jake leaned against the wall, crossing his arms, and looked at you with a thoughtful expression. “You know,” he said slowly, “I was thinking… maybe you could just move into my place.”
You blinked, surprised by the suggestion. “Your place? But we’ve only been together a few months, and now with everything that’s happened…” Your voice trailed off as you considered the implications.
He straightened up, stepping closer. “I mean it. My place has two bedrooms. We can easily turn one into a nursery, and I want you and the baby close to me. We could be a family.”
The warmth in his voice sent a flutter through your chest. You searched his eyes for any hint of hesitation, but all you saw was sincerity. “Are you sure? This is a big step. We haven’t even been together a year yet.”
Jake nodded firmly, the look in his eyes unwavering. “I know it’s fast, but I want to do this together. I want you both with me. I don’t want to miss a moment once he gets here.”
Your heart swelled at his words, a mix of excitement and anxiety flooding you. “It’s just… a lot to think about.”
He reached out, pulling you into a warm embrace. “I get it, but we’ll figure it out together. You’re not alone in this. We can make it work.”
As you melted into his arms, you felt the weight of your worries begin to lift. The idea of moving in with Jake was both daunting and exhilarating, but deep down, you knew he was right. It would be good for all of you.
Pulling back slightly, you looked into his eyes, your smile growing. “Okay. Let’s do it.”
Jake’s face broke into a wide grin, and he lifted you off the ground in excitement. “Really? You mean it?”
You nodded, laughing as he set you back down. “Yeah, I mean it. I’m just as scared as I am excited, but I want this. I want us to be a family, and I want us to be together.”
Jake’s smile softened, and he brushed a strand of hair behind your ear. “Then it’s settled. Let’s make it happen.”
You felt a rush of happiness as you both embraced again, knowing that despite the challenges ahead, you had each other. You could build a home together, and soon enough, you’d be welcoming your little one into the world.
* * * * *
The day had stretched into what felt like an eternity, filled with anticipation, exhaustion, and a whirlwind of emotions. You lay in the hospital bed, beads of sweat on your forehead, clutching Jake’s hand tightly. He was your anchor, whispering words of encouragement and squeezing your fingers every time a contraction rolled through you.
“You’re doing amazing, babe,” he said softly, brushing a damp strand of hair from your face. His voice was a calming presence amid the chaos, and every time you met his gaze, you felt a surge of strength.
Hours passed, and the pain became almost unbearable, but you pressed on, motivated by the thought of finally holding your baby in your arms. You could feel the excitement in the room as the medical staff prepared for the final moments. Jake stayed right by your side, never leaving you, his eyes filled with concern and love.
Finally, with one last push, the cries of your baby filled the room, piercing through the haze of pain and exhaustion. Your heart raced as you heard that precious sound, a mixture of relief and joy flooding through you. The nurses gently placed the tiny bundle on your chest, and you looked down, tears brimming in your eyes.
There he was—your son. His little face, scrunched up and wailing, filled you with a warmth you had never known. You glanced up at Jake, who was beaming, his eyes wide with wonder as he took in the sight of his son for the first time.
Jake leaned in closer, pressing a tender kiss to your forehead, his breath warm against your skin. “You did it,” he whispered, his voice thick with emotion. “He’s perfect.”
You smiled through your tears, feeling an overwhelming sense of love and pride. “Look at him,” you murmured, your voice barely above a whisper. “He’s ours.”
Jake nodded, his eyes glistening as he gazed at the two of you. “We’re a family now.”
In that moment, nothing else mattered. The pain of labor faded into the background, replaced by an all-consuming love for this tiny human that you had created together. You felt Jake’s hand wrap around yours, his thumb stroking the back of your hand as he leaned in to share the joy of this incredible moment.
As you cradled your son against your chest, the world around you fell silent. It was just you, Jake, and your beautiful baby boy, the three of you beginning this new chapter together.

Flowers | Austin Butler x Reader
Pairing: austin butler x f!reader
Word Count: 3k
Summary: after making a quick run to the store, austin comes home with a surprise for his favorite girl in the world (requested)
Warnings: none
Masterlist/Request Form | Ask/Tell/Request
A/N: I swear it takes the bare minimum for me to go off in delulu land and create a whole scenario of some cute domestic ish about one of my faves lmao! thank you to the anon who requested I write this, you truly fed into my fantasies and I appreciate the excitement. I know it’s been a while since I’ve uploaded a fic so I figured I’d finally try to sit down and write something quick and get it out for the last day of austin’s birth month! I hope you guys enjoy sentimental aus and the dash of horndoginess I threw in there. after finding out about a certain *ehem* tidbit, I saw an opportunity to include the fact austin is an ass man-ANYWAYS! as always lmk what you think! <3
also important side-note! for right now I think I am going to hold off on accepting any new requests for a while. I have quite a few backed up in my ask box that I really wanna get out for the people who sent them in and are patiently waiting! I can’t stop ya’ll from sending things in, but please know that at the moment the requests I have on my currently writing page are my current priorities and it might be a while until I get to yours!
“God, there’s literally nothing on,” you grumble after skipping past yet another movie preview on Netflix.
It’s both yours and Austin’s first off day together in such a long time and all you want to do is cuddle and watch a good film, but it’s like nothing is catching your attention, and at this point you kinda just want to rewatch a comfort film and call it a day. You doubt Austin will put up much of a fight.
The blonde did leave you in charge of finding something to watch while he went off to gather snacks, so he can’t complain too much if you two end up watching a movie you’ve both seen a hundred times, right?
While an idea starts to form in your mind and you quickly scroll to the search bar, soft footsteps from the kitchen make their way to you.
“Baby, I’m headin’ out the store really quick, I just need to pick up a few things before we get started. D’you need anything?”
Your boyfriend’s voice immediately takes your attention away from the black and red screen you’ve been staring at for the past ten minutes. Needless to say the interruption and new view is much appreciated. You swear to yourself that Austin could walk out of a place wearing just a trash bag and he’d still be the most beautiful man you’ve ever laid eyes on.
He looks so soft and cuddly in his cotton shirt and track pants that it makes you sad at the idea you’ll have to wait even longer now to wrap yourself in his arms.
“Did we eat all the snacks again already? I swear neither one of us is home enough to go through food that quickly and yet somehow we always do,” you say as you shake your head lightly.
Austin’s soft chuckle drifts through the air. “It blows my mind too, sweetheart.” The actor moves closer to the front door and begins to put his shoes on—grey and black Adidas with the white stripes, his latest favorites. “I mean we have stuff but I wanna get you some of those candies you like to have when we go to the movies, I figured we could really make it our own little film experience, y’know?”
You scrunch your nose in fondness at the sentiment and get up off the couch to meet your boyfriend at the door. He grabs one of his many baseball caps and settles it atop his blonde waves. You notice how thick Austin’s hair is getting, the hat sliding snuggly over his head.
“Awh, Aus, I’d love that, that sounds amazing,” you grin, stepping forward and wrapping your arms around his neck. “Now, tell me, how would you feel about me picking a certain favorite Gosling film for our movie?”
You grin cheekily at Austin, seeing the flicker of realization in his eyes as he understands exactly which film you’re referencing. Between the two of you, there really is no other Ryan Gosling film it could be besides—you guessed it—The Notebook.
“You’re really gonna make me cry on my day off?” The blonde teases and you roll your eyes jokingly in response. After you and Austin started dating, it didn’t take long for the two of you to go in depth about your favorite films—I mean, it was only fitting—and it was only then did you discover his love for The Notebook. Although written off as a typical, cheesy romance film, it’s so much more than that and Austin was one of the only people to see it as such. The both of you talked for ages about it and no matter how dumb it sounds, that conversation—among many other things—convinced you wholeheartedly that Austin was the man of your dreams. It’s been years since your relationship with Austin started and that film is still one of you forever favorites. You and Austin make sure to rewatch it together at least once a year, tears and choked back sobs included.
“C’mon, baby, you know you want to! It’s about time for our rewatch anyways! I’ll be there the whole time to console you during all the sad parts, and then you’ll be there to console me right after that! I’ll even bring the tissues,” you laugh.
Austin shakes his head and because of your closeness to him you can feel his chest rumble as he laughs along with you. It’s an odd thing to find comfort it and yet you do.
“Fine but only because I love that film—and you—so much. I mean crying in my girl’s arms over a Gosling movie sounds like a day well spent to me anyways.”
The blonde inches closer and rubs his nose against yours, grinning broadly at your giggles that ensue. He swears if he could bottle up that sound and keep it forever, he would.
“Alright, I’m goin’,” Austin says as he steps back and begins to open the door. “You didn’t answer earlier, did you need anything from the store?”
Shaking your head, you respond, “Nope. All I need is for you to come home to me as soon as possible so I can wrap myself in your arms and cry over Noah and Allie with you.”
You’re met with that thousand watt smile again and you can’t help but to return it. “I promise I’ll hurry back, I wouldn’t miss that for the world.”
Before Austin steps fully out the door, he stops and turns back towards you, reaching out his hand to cup your cheek and connect his lips with yours.
The kiss is soft and sweet and the second Austin pulls away you want more than anything for him to kiss you again.
“I love you,” he says before sneaking in another quick kiss, this time on your cheek, and then proceeding out the front door.
The lock clicks into place and as you stand there in the hall, the only audible sound being Austin’s car pulling out of the driveway, you sigh and reach your fingers up towards your lips. It doesn’t matter how long you and Austin have been dating, the whimsical and electric state he leaves you in after each time he kisses you will never, ever get old.
*****
It’s probably only been about fifteen to twenty minutes since Austin left when you hear keys jangling in the door knob.
You figured it wouldn’t take him long considering the store you always go to is right down the street, but the time apart was still long enough for you, so you leap off the couch and hurry to meet your boyfriend as he walks through the front door.
Instantly you notice the small plastic bag Austin’s holding in his hand that he used to open the door. You can already see the wrappings of all your favorite treats peaking through the top and that alone gets you excited. So excited, in fact, that you don’t even notice the way Austin’s holding his other hand behind his back.
The blonde holds out the plastic bag towards you and you squeal in excitement as you begin to dig around in it. “Ah, no way! They actually had them this time!? When I went last they were sold out.” As you grab at one of your favorite snacks, you watch as Austin angles himself awkwardly to try and close the door. It’s like he doesn’t want to turn his back towards you and it’s at this time that you notice he’s holding something out of your line of sight.
“Austin what are you doing?” You giggle, quirking your eyebrow at the way he stands there with a mischievous, yet fond smile on his face. You hear a distinct crinkling sound and you know it’s not from your own bag. “What d’you got there?”
“After I grabbed all our snacks and was headin’ up to the register, I passed a display and saw these.” Your boyfriend brings the hidden object from behind his back and you gasp at the sight of it. “They reminded me of you so I got ‘em for you. Pretty flowers for a pretty girl.”
Austin hands you the bouquet and your eyes instantly well with tears. They’re the most stunning blush colored roses you’ve ever seen and they smell absolutely incredible. There’s a small card sticking out of the side of them and as you read the words written in Austin’s handwriting, your heart swells with adoration.
For my favorite girl
Love, Austin
“Aus,” you whisper, not trusting your voice to withstand anything else. “They’re beautiful. Thank you so much. You didn’t have to do that.”
The actor can tell how emotional you are right now, can tell how much this means to you. He’d do anything to let you know how much you mean to him, to let you know how much he loves you. He’d buy you flowers every single day if it meant he’d get to see that look on your face. That look where your eyes get real big and sparkly and your smile is so wide it makes your eyelids crinkle at the corners. That look that makes Austin want to give you the world.
Careful not to smash the bouquet held delicately in your hands (the bag of snacks now laying on the floor), Austin reaches out and hugs you with one arm, planting a soft kiss on the side of your head. “I know I didn’t have to, sweetheart, but I wanted to. I love you so much and you deserve to be appreciated.”
With the right words to say completely escaping you, you do the next best thing and instantly close the gap between you and the man standing in front of you. One of Austin’s hands finds its place on your lower back, pushing you closer to him, and your own hand without the bouquet in it finds its way to the nape of his neck—fingers twisting in those thick waves you took notice of earlier.
“I love you so much more, Austin Butler,” you breathe out as you break apart from your boyfriend’s soft lips.
“Mmm, whatever you say, baby,” he mumbles against your mouth as he goes in for yet another kiss. You nearly drop your flowers as you get caught up in Austin again, so you break apart before you can do any real damage to them.
“As much as I’m enjoying this right now, I need it to stop for like five seconds before I completely lose myself in you and ruin this gorgeous bouquet,” you giggle, before reluctantly taking a step back from your boyfriend in order to go find a vase in the kitchen to set the flowers in.
“Would that really be such a bad thing?” Austin calls after you. It doesn’t take long for him to meet up with you in the kitchen, his tall figure leaning casually against the doorframe. “I think having rose petals all over the floor would actually be quite romantic. It’d really…set the mood.”
In between spreading out the roses in the vase you found, you glance up at Austin and can see the way his eyes have clouded over just slightly. His intent and emphasis on the last few words of his sentence become abundantly clear, and you try to fight the heat you feel rising up your neck.
Making your way around the kitchen island, you stop in front of your boyfriend and lean lightly into his chest, your hands basking in the warmth radiating through Austin’s white shirt. “You do realize it is your birthday month, right, Aus? Why am I the one getting all the special treatment?”
There’s a soft smirk playing on your lips and you revel in the way Austin tilts his head to the side, his own smirk quirking up at the corner of his mouth. “Who’s to say I’m not getting my own type of special treatment? Looking after my girl and seeing her happy sounds like a pretty nice birthday gift to me.”
Burying your face in Austin’s chest, you barely contain the squeal threatening to spill out of you over the actor’s words. This man somehow always knows the right thing to say to make you melt. “You’re such a heartthrob you know that?”
“I am a man of many talents,” Austin beams. The two of you laugh and you push lightly on his chest to get him to move back towards the living room.
“C’mon, think of the snacks waiting for us! I won’t let your incredibly smooth sweet talking make us miss out on our plan for an at home film experience!” No matter how tempting, you think.
“Trust me, sweetheart, I am thinking about my snack. Mine just isn’t in that little bag you got there.” As you bend down to pick up the plastic bag you haphazardly threw to the side at the reveal of your surprise flowers, Austin comes up behind you and lightly smacks your ass, causing you to let out a sharp gasp.
Jolting upright, you fake annoyance and watch as your boyfriend turns towards you and holds up his hands in innocence. You reach into the bag and throw one of the packets of candy at him. The blonde winks at you as he catches it with ease and then plops down on the couch.
“You’re right though, I did say I wouldn’t miss this for the world, and I am also a man of my word. So c’mon, Ryan’s waiting for us,” Austin grins as he pats the spot next to him on the couch.
Unable to keep up your feigned irritation, you let the smile that’s twitching at the corner of your lips break through as you hurry over to Austin. No matter what happens, you’d never turn down an open invitation from the man you love with all your heart.
Cuddling up to Austin’s side you sigh in the satisfaction of finally getting to relax with him. Sure you two are able to see each other relatively often considering the fact you live together, but it’s rare when you get to just sit together and do absolutely nothing besides enjoy each other’s company. No cameras, no expectations, just you and him.
If anyone were to ask you, you’d say that’s what you’d call pure heaven.
As Austin presses play on the movie and the opening credits begin to roll, you watch as he rips open the bag of candy you threw at him. You take in how he eats one and then sets it aside, beginning to set up the rest of the treats he purchased for you. The reality of it all settles in as it does every so often and you feel a tiny squeeze in your chest as you take it in.
Having someone love you so deeply, having someone who knows practically every part of you from your favorite types of candy to what flowers you would like, having someone who sees your happiness as enough satisfaction for them and truly mean it, is just incredibly unbelievable.
You wonder practically every day how in the world you were lucky enough to find someone like that. To find someone who you love wholeheartedly and who loves you just the same, if not more. The material things—the flowers, the candy—are nice, but nothing beats the feeling you get when you’re with Austin, and you thank your lucky stars that the universe brought him to you. You truly don’t know where you’d be, who you’d be, without him.
“Austin,” you start, looking into his clear blue eyes as he turns towards you, a soft smile already adorning his lips as he catches sight of you. “Thank you for…”
You can’t even begin to think of where to start. You’re sat here looking at this man that’s staring at you with such a fond, loving expression and it’s like words won’t even dare try to form in your mind in a way that would express everything you feel for him. There aren’t enough of them, there aren’t any right ones.
“For what, sweetheart?” Austin whispers as he reaches out and tucks a piece of your hair behind your ear, the warmth from his fingertips leaving a trail of goosebumps in their wake.
“For the…flowers,” you say before letting out an airy laugh. “For the candy, for staying in with me and letting me coerce you into watching this movie for the thousandth time, for just being you, and a million other things I don’t think I’ll ever have the right words to express.”
“You don’t have to thank me for any of that, my love, but you’re welcome anyways. I do it all because I want to, there isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for you just like I know there isn’t anything you wouldn’t do for me. I hope you know how much I appreciate you. I love you.” Austin leans down and plants a kiss on your forehead before pulling you even closer to his side, wanting nothing but to have you wrapped in his arms.
As your boyfriend turns his attention back to the movie and begins to rub his hand soothingly up and down your back, you feel a sense of content wash over you. When you’re with Austin, it feels like no matter what happens, as long as you have each other, everything will be okay. Nothing is certain, but you’d bet everything you’ve got that this love is.
“I love you too, Aus.”

Dr. Miller (Doctor!Joel Miller x Reader)
Masterlist | Request here!
Summary: An unexpected visit to the new OB-GYN in town results in a less than professional exam.
Word count: 2.4k
Warnings: SMUT, NSFW, 18+, MDNI, fingering, oral (f!receiving), allusions to infidelity, porn with (some) plot, gynaecological exam, undefined age gap, very unprofessional doctor!Joel lol, pet names, lots of fluff at the end!!
A/n: Thank you to the very lovely anon who requested this! You can find the request here. The idea is from a wonderful Bridgeton fic by @ao3loveisstrong, which you can read here! Thank you so much again for letting me use your idea ☺️❤️ hope everyone enjoys!
There’s nothing particularly warm about the waiting room. Of course, for all the gynaecology offices you’ve visited, that’s pretty par for the course. Just stone-grey walls, the paint chipping in parts, and posters stuck up that may have once added colour but have faded now into barely-legible antenatal support numbers and information on STIs.
The only noise that fills the space is the mechanical click click click of the receptionist’s typing, the only sound she’s made apart from a grumbled “sit over there” when you first walked in. Anytime you tap on your phone she shoots you a death stare from over her desk, so you instead opt for sitting with your hands on your lap and staring at your feet.
“Ma’am? The Doctor’s ready for you now.”
You look up to find the nurse looking right at you, her friendly smile about the only thing brightening up the room.
You follow her down the corridor, just as dull and drab as the waiting room, to the final door where a sign reads ‘Dr. Miller, OB-GYN’ in scratched letters.
“Just through here,” she gestures, knocking the door and quickly getting a “come in” in reply. You straighten your top, even the waistband on your skirt and give the nurse a quick smile before slipping into the office.
Dr. Miller’s room is brighter, the walls clearly treated to a fresh lick of paint, with ‘thank you’ cards pinned to a corkboard beside the window. You can tell he’s made an effort to make it more welcoming, more comforting, and it works. It’s still clinical, all-white with tools and sanitising solutions dotted around, but his touches of personality make it almost like a home. There’s a picture frame on his desk, a little too far away for you to see the detail on it, but the black-clad, larger frame holding the smaller white-draped one tells you it’s a wedding photo. It’s sweet.
And sat at the desk, of course, is the man himself, his eyes trained on you from the moment you walked in.
Doctor Miller stands, tugging on the shirt of his white scrubs. “Ah, hello -”
“Y/N,” you interject, and a small grin tilts his lips upwards. He’s cheeky, confident. He’s hot.
“Right, Y/N,” he pauses. “Your appointment was made quite last-minute today.”
He makes his way to the exam table as he talks, patting where he wants you to lie down.
You let your eyes wander from his hand, trailing up his arm to his jaw, covered in a soft, greying beard that gives him an irresistible ruggedness. He’s tall, with big broad shoulders that overshadow your own, the structure of his face harsh yet perfectly sculpted.
“Well, it was an emergency, Doctor,” you reply, leaving your coat and bag on a nearby chair before hopping onto the table and trying not to let your gaze linger on his frame. He’s just trying to do his job, after all.
You swing your legs onto the table and lay down, legs bent and knees in the air, exposed. Dr. Miller’s already towering figure hangs over you, his eyes on yours, the sleeves of his shirt rolled up past his elbows.
“Comfy?” He asks, something playful underlaying his tone. Like he’s teasing you.
You shrug, “are these things meant to be comfy?”
The Doctor laughs and shakes his head, landing a hand on your covered knee. “Unfortunately, I don’t think so. But I’ll make things as comfortable as possible for ‘ya.”
His southern drawl is prominent, but for his rough appearance, it’s soft and gentle. Kind to the ears.
You just nod and smile, satisfying him as he takes a seat on the stool before the table and asks, “what’s the problem then, darlin’?”
Darlin’. A name that drips so easily from his lips, so smoothly, and yet it sets your tummy on fire and it’s all you can do not to squeeze your legs back together right there in front of him.
You swallow. “I think it’s best if you see for yourself, Doc.”
His gaze falls to your crotch, carefully pushing the mesh of your skirt up over your legs to reveal your underwear, the ones you can feel a puddle of arousal forming in. You know he must see your wetness when he sighs out, his eyes stuck on your crotch for a moment longer before he looks back up to you again.
“You’re married,” he observes, having noticed your wedding band.
You’d be hard-pressed not to notice his hands drifting along your thighs as you answer with a soft “mhm”.
“And how’s your sex life?”
The question is blunt, direct, genuine. Hopeful, perhaps. “It’s… okay. A little slow,” you answer, biting your lip when you see his brows knit together.
“Slow? You don’t have sex often?”
“No, no,” you answer quickly. “He’s just slow in bed. I think it’s ‘cos he’s so old.” There’s a firmer grip on your thighs now, and you try not to giggle, focussing on the ceiling so as not to give yourself away as he stares up at you.
“Right,” is all he replies, before startling you with how quickly he rips off your underwear and throws them onto the floor. Unprofessional, unsanitary, uncaring.
Desperate.
“How’s it look, Dr. Miller?” You tease. He slowly, painfully, brings a finger to your entrance; his thumb if its thickness is anything to go by.
“You’re wet,” he whispers, almost inaudible. “You always get this wet? For your husband?”
Your heart races, and you don’t realise you haven’t answered the Doctor until he pulls his hand away, tracing it back along your inner thigh. “You seem distracted, (Y/N). Maybe we should reschedule our app-”
“No!” You all but yell, an embarrassed flush quickly joining the heat in your cheeks. You can’t see his face, but you know Dr. Miller’s smirking, and you shuffle awkwardly on the table. “Need you to check up on me, Doctor,” you whine.
“Well in that case, ma’am…” he stalls, though you’re acutely aware of his presence at your core, so much so you can almost feel his breath hit your clit. “I need you to lay extra still for me. Can you do that?”
You nod, not saying anything, and he laughs. “Very well then.”
You jolt as Dr. Miller swipes his thumb over your clit, throbbing and sensitive at his touch, desperate for more. He goes lower, using two fingers to spread your folds apart, his voice noticeably deeper as he groans.
“You’re dripping, sweetheart.” The Doctor’s gentle cadence is gone, pure lust soaking his words.
“That a good sign, Doctor?” You ask, willing yourself to stay calm as you feel the tip of his fingers tease your entrance.
His other hand moves to the top of your knee, holding it in place as he pushes two fingers inside you, so big they stretch out your cunt with ease. “Very good,” he breathes, too occupied with watching his fingers push in and out to even register his own words.
The two of you are silent for a few moments then, the only sound in the room that of your laboured breathing and the wet slick of your cunt tensing around Dr. Miller’s fingers. He’s skilled, moving in all the right ways and finding a rhythm that makes your toes curl, straining against the table at his mercy.
“You need another one. ‘Ta make sure everything’s fine,” Dr. Miller mutters. His words are strained, like he’s resisting his own urge to moan out, to go completely feral on you while nurses and receptionists shuffle around on the other side of the door. You wish he would.
“O-okay, Dr. Miller. Whatever you want, sir, please,” you gasp, a wave of pleasure flooding you as he finally reacts to your words, groaning a “fuck” and quickly spreading you even further with a third finger. Your hands go to grab his hair on instinct, but your position on the exam table makes it impossible, so you grip the sides of the metal frame instead and squeeze as he curls his fingers deep inside you and fucks you with them harder, faster.
You bite your lip, desperate to halt the moans that threaten to break out far too loudly, sure to draw attention from anyone passing by. But the coil in your lower tummy tightens, led by the Doctor’s expert movements inside you, and you whimper “I’m cu- cumming, oh my god, I-” before arching your back off the table and -
He stops. He removes his fingers, the feeling of emptiness immediate, and you cry out as he goes back to caressing your thighs.
“Sh, shh,” he soothes, placing a gentle kiss to your knee. “I need to see how you taste, baby. Can I do that? Can I fuck you with my tongue?”
You don’t, can’t, even speak, just frantically nod and buck your hips into the air for some sense of relief. You hear the Doctor chuckle against your skin, his kisses trailing back down your leg until his nose is nestled in the crook of your pubic bone, not where you need him but just close enough to bring tears to your eyes.
“Please, Dr. Miller, I need it, please-”
He hears you. He hears you, and you know it gets to him when you call him that, and before you can even register his movements he’s driving his tongue inside you and nudging his nose against your cunt. You yelp, hands once again gripping the metal frame of the exam table, heels digging in to the cushioned mat where you’re lay.
The Doctor moans, the vibrations hitting your clit and making you moan back, the fast pace of his movements making it almost too overwhelming. “So good,” he grunts, flicking his tongue against your clit as he takes a moment to breathe. “So fucking good, baby. Such a gorgeous little pussy. So perfect.”
“It’s yours, Dr. Miller. Oh god, it’s yours. Please just - oh, just make me cum, Doctor, please.”
You sound pathetic, you know you do, but you can’t find it within yourself to care. You know he loves it because he groans again, still breathless but diving back into your cunt and pushing his tongue even deeper inside you, wet and warm and hitting all the right spots.
You’re getting close, and he must sense it because he releases his bruising grasp on your knee to thumb your clit, fast and needy, losing the rhythm he’s built in his own desperation.
“Come on, sweetheart, cum for me. Cum on my tongue,” he demands, pushing and pushing until you stutter over the edge and finally reach your release. You clasp a hand over your mouth, ignoring the tears that fall down your cheeks and arching up from the table, seeing stars as Dr. Miller coaxes you through your orgasm and finally begins to slowly, gently, bring you down from your high.
“Alright baby, alright.” His voice is starkly different to how it was just moments ago; calm, gentle, caring. You lay still for a little while longer, the rising and falling of your chest starting to settle, the pattern on the ceiling more visible where it once whirred with your dizziness.
And then you sit up, Joel’s face already tracking yours, a grin playing on his lips.
“Too old, huh?” He recalls, less-than-impressed although you know he’s only being playful. “I may be older than you, sweetheart, but I doubt none of them younger boys could make you squirt in my office.”
“I squirted?” You ask, shocked. You didn’t even realise, too caught up in the pleasure and the way he filled your senses.
Your husband just grins further, and you roll your eyes, though you match his smile.
“You gotta start warnin’ me when you visit the office, sweetheart. You’re wearing me out,” he laughs, finally standing from his little stool to settle between your legs where they dangle off the exam table.
“Shouldn’t be a problem since you’re so not old,” you quip back, making him roll his eyes. He takes your hands in his larger ones, brushing a messy piece of hair from your eyes and kissing the spot just above your brow, whispering “I love you” against your skin.
You adore when he’s like this; so gentle, so sweet. And you know that no matter how much he complains, he loves it when you come to visit him at work. He’s only moved into this office recently, the both of you still getting used to the new area, and you couldn’t be prouder of how far he’s come.
“I love what you’ve done with the place, baby,” you tell him, nuzzling his bearded jaw and resting a hand on his chest. “I’m so proud of you.”
Joel only hums, modest as ever, holding you closely. He knows you mean it. You’ve been with him from the start, through everything, making the highs higher and the lows easier; every day he wonders how he’s gotten this lucky, even if you do leave him endlessly flustered with your surprise office visits.
You lean up to press a gentle kiss on his lips, grinning as he moans into you, and ots only then that you notice how hard he still is beneath his scrubs.
“What time are you home?” You ask, your hands playing with his collar and the scruff of his beard.
“Around 5:30, hopefully,” he replies, though he looks in his own world as his eyes flutter closed at your touch and his head tips into your hand.
“Alright,” you press another kiss against his jaw, “well as soon as you’re back, I’ll fix this.” You gently squeeze his throbbing cock over his pants, making him moan and his hips stutter.
“Baby, you ruin me,” Joel whines as you remove your hands and jump off the table, collecting your bag and coat before turning to face him with a giggle. You cup his jaw again as he rests his hands on your waist and you kiss him, deeper this time, not wanting to let go. “You love me,” you retort, grinning even wider as he cocks a brow but laughs all the same.
“I do, sweetheart. So much.”
He stares into your eyes, thumbing your hips, his forehead pressed against yours. It’s such a sweet little moment, intimate, and you wonder why you keep on visiting him at work when it means you can’t stay there all day. He wonders the same.
“I love you too, Dr. Miller” is your final reply as you head for the door, sending your husband a little wave and giggling as he mutters, “stop calling me that. Drives me crazy.”
Of course, you know he loves that, too. “Whatever you say, Dr. Miller,” you laugh, slipping out of his office and already thinking of how you’ll treat him when he gets home.

A/N: Thank you very much to my dear anon Victoria for the request!! I actually have two very similar spring time date requests, as such I decided to tweak this up a little. There will be mentions and references to canon events, but nothing angsty at all!!
I'm sorry this took so long to complete, and I'm still going through a bad writer's block lol but thank you to everyone for being so patient! I hope you all like this <3
Read the original request here.
"Levi Heichou!" You called out, excited to see your lover appear before you.
"Tch, I told you so many times before to drop the shitty title, we're no longer in the Corps anymore," Levi rolled his eye—his good one—as he approached you. His hair was neatly combed back, his fedora in his lap. Levi was wearing a simple white button shirt with black long pants. His hair had grown longer; his fringe now growing past his eye. You missed how he used to keep his hair short, but you loved how nice Levi looked with longer hair too.
You looked hard at Levi, studying every line and wrinkle you see, and the barely visible strands of grey on his ebony hair. Years of fighting on the front line had taken a toll on his body more than you liked, even though he claimed it didn't really affect him much since he had the Ackerman bloodline.
Although the war ended, you knew Levi still wasn't at peace. You could tell he was restless, he didn't like being cooped up at home. His eyes didn't seem to have life in them like they used to, and he just seemed so sluggish all the time. You knew Levi wasn't sleeping well too; sometimes the ache in his knee woke him up, and sometimes, it was the demons Levi were fighting in his head. Levi didn't say it, but you knew he missed the old life, the one where he spent half his life fighting for a cause he believed in, and now that he fulfilled his mission, his life felt aimless; he didn't know what to do, and what to continue living for.
It took you a long while to convince Levi to even agree to step out of the house and go on this picnic date, and deep down, you knew you had to make every minute out with him worthwhile.
"What are you staring at?" Levi's voice brought you back to the present, "thinking of something?"
"Nah, I'm just thinking of asking Mikasa to send me some of those pearl eye cream from Hizuru. You know, the one Lady Kiyomi sent her for her birthday?" you answered, bringing a pair of shoes and putting them on for Levi, "I heard they're good for reducing wrinkles, especially around the eyes."
Levi's eye narrowed. "Oi. Are you saying—"
"Did Big Sister y/n just call Uncle Levi old?!" A high pitched voice came from the kitchen, and you felt an impact around your midsection. A few moments later, a head of blonde hair appeared by your side too. "Big Sister y/n just said Uncle Levi has wri—"
"Gabi! Shush—" Falco covered Gabi's mouth while she tried to wiggle herself free. You giggled and glanced at Levi who was eyeing the three of you, and quickly tried to separate the younger ones.
"Oi. You brats. Ganging up on me now?" Levi crossed his arms, looking utterly displeased. Falco continued covering Gabi's mouth while she tried to stomp on his foot.
"Of course not, Levi, we wouldn't dare to offend our elders do we, kids?" You joked, earning another stare from Levi. Before he could say anything, you quickly ran into the kitchen with Gabi and Falco.
"Big Sister y/n!!! Did you see Uncle Levi's face when you talked about wrinkles?" Gabi laughed while Falco appeared with a picnic basket in tow.
"Shut up, Gabi! Uncle Levi and Big Sister are late for their date already, stop disturbing them!" Falco sighed and tried to pull Gabi away, "here, Big Sister, I hope you and Uncle Levi have lots of fun today!"
You nodded and waved the kids goodbye and went outside, looking again at Levi who still had his arms across his chest. Onyankopon was right behind Levi, giving you a smile.
"Come on brat, let's go." Levi rolled his eye again as you passed the picnic basket to Onyankopon. Pushing Levi's wheelchair, Onyankopon told you to wait by the pavement as he went to drive the car over.
"... do I really have wrinkles?" Levi muttered once Onyankopon left. You snorted and tried to hide it with a small cough.
"Hmm… well… I mean, uh… your crow's feet do seem to be… uh—"
"Fine. Enough." Onyankopon arrived and Levi dismissed you, clearly knowing the answer in his heart. You giggled as he came out to help Levi up into the car while you kept his wheelchair in the boot.
"The weather today is lovely," Onyankopon smiled as he began driving, "it's a good day to be out in the sun."
"And yet, she still does not want to tell me what we're doing today."
"You'll find out later." You chuckled again holding Levi's hand, watching the scenery outside pass by. You sought help from Onyankopon and the kids weeks ago to look for nice picnic spots in Marley. With the spring breeze flowing and the flowers blooming, you thought it would be a perfect opportunity to spend undisturbed time with Levi. You thought a change of scenery might do him some good too; to help him out of this depressive state. After another quarter, Onyankopon stopped the car near the park and went to take Levi's wheelchair out.
"I'll pick you two up at eight, is that okay, y/n?" You checked your watch and it was a little past four. You nodded your head and thanked Onyankopon before taking the picnic basket and another bag from the front seat. Placing the picnic basket on Levi's lap, you helped him put on his fedora and his eye patch before wheeling him ahead.
"So, are you going to tell me why we are here in this godforsaken place?" Levi questioned you again as you began pushing him on a stony path.
"I'm taking you out on a date, obviously." You teased him again as you suddenly pushed him faster, causing his fedora to nearly fly away. Levi tutted angrily and said you should never be allowed to push his wheelchair again.
A few moments later, you and Levi arrived at a shop offering bicycles for rent. You paid the shopkeeper some money and then he rode a quadricycle over. You took the picnic basket and bag from Levi's lap and placed it in the front seats of the quadricycle. Once more, Levi gave you a look of confusion.
"Well, up now, I rented this for the day," you gestured. Levi awkwardly looked away, subconsciously placing his hand on his bad knee and grimaced, knowing that you of all people should know how he wasn't like before. What were you thinking, making him cycle when you knew it was going to be hard for him?
"Come on, Levi, stop depending on that wheelchair. You have to prevent your knee from becoming worse, right?" You smiled encouragingly, offering your hand out. You had expected that Levi would be unhappy, but you likewise knew that you shouldn't treat him differently from before. Whether or not he was Levi Heichou of the Survey Corps, or now as Levi the war veteran, he was still Levi—the Levi you loved. Whether he had physical disabilities or not, Levi was still the man you want to spend the rest of eternity with. You didn't want to push him, you wanted Levi to get out of this self-pitying state himself. After a long while, Levi held your hand and pushed himself up from the wheelchair. Slowly but steadily, you guided Levi up on the seat of the quadricycle, placing his feet on the pedals.
"W-wait. What about the wheel—"
"Don't worry, sir, your item will be safely kept here." The shopkeeper kindly replied and Levi seemed to relax a little. It was hard trying to move around without the wheelchair, but maybe you were right. He should try to depend on it less. "We'll close at around 10pm, so please remember to come by before then." The both of you nodded and you took your seat on the left. Looking at Levi, you gave him another smile and asked if he was ready. You could see Levi massaging his knee again. Levi took a deep breath and sighed, telling you to start pedalling.
It was hard at first, but Levi gradually got used to the momentum again. The both of you kept your pace slow, taking your time to enjoy the scenery passing by, the sound of birds chirping, and the gentle rustling of leaves. The sun was obscured by the clouds and there wasn't much of a crowd as well. You saw Levi's face relax gradually, the crease on his forehead slowly disappearing. Levi seemed to be more at ease with paddling on the quadricycle as well. You smiled to yourself. Bringing Levi out was indeed doing him well.
"Are you doing okay?" You checked in with your lover, making sure he wasn't overexerting himself. After he gave you a nod, you pointed to a large shady tree about 200 metres away, telling Levi that it was the next stop. Reaching the tree, you told Levi to remain seated first.
"Are you up for a walk?"
"... Hah?"
"A walk, Levi. Let's go for a walk."
"N-no, I don't think I can—"
"We'll walk slowly. Forget about the walking stick. You don't need it, I'm here."
Levi looked hard at you, face remaining emotionless. The frown on Levi's face became more and more evident as the seconds passed. You continued to stare right into Levi's eye, your resolve unwavering. A few seconds later, Levi broke eye contact and sighed again before reaching out his hand towards your direction.
"You better not make me regret this," Levi muttered under his breath, "you're forcing a crippled man to walk when you jolly well know he can't." You rolled your eyes.
"First off, Levi"—you took his hand and slowly guided him down the quadricycle—"you're not crippled. Secondly, you walk fine. Thirdly, think of this as rehabilitation, hmm? And lastly, stop complaining like an old man." You stood on Levi's right side and interlocked your arm with his, making sure he wasn't putting too much pressure on his knee.
"Where are we going?"
"Not far. We're just going to that small pond over there," you pointed towards a pond just in front, "let's go and feed some ducks." Levi scoffed hearing you.
"As long as they keep their feathers and shit to themselves."
The walk to the small pond was slow but pleasant. The heat from the sun was warm against your skin, the scent of the earth was refreshing. Levi held on to his fedora as the wind blew gently, and the sound of the grass and gravel crunching underneath your feet was playing like a contrasting melody. Once you two reached the pond, you opened your sling bag and took out a slice of white bread. Levi raised his eyebrow slightly.
"These are stale bread from a week ago." You chuckled before tearing it into half, passing one to Levi. You further tore your half into more tiny pieces before throwing them little by little into the pond. Some of the ducks in the pond started waddling over. Several tortoises also popped their heads above the water. There were also fishes fighting amongst themselves for the last few pieces. Levi looked at you before tearing the bread in his hand, scattering them all across the pond. The fishes and ducks dispersed and finished all those pieces of bread within the next minute.
"Do you have more bread on you?" Levi asked as he finished scattering the last few pieces of bread in his hand. You laughed and took out a few more slices.
"Maybe we can go to the pier next time," you commented once those hungry birds finished all the bread in your bag, "we should try feeding the seagulls." Levi scoffed again and let you hold on to his elbow.
"Tch. And have them shit on our heads? No."
The both of you began walking back to the quadricycle. Reaching into another bag, you took out a small paper kite. Levi raised his eyebrow again.
"Do you like it? I had Gabi and Falco do it together with me." You smiled and flipped the kite over, letting Levi see the doodles they did. Levi smirked when he realised who the five blobs of colour drawn on the kite were. You held onto the string and passed Levi the kite, telling him to lift the kite above his head while you moved back.
"OKAY, LEVI, THROW THE KITE HIGH AFTER I COUNT TO THREE!" You shouted and Levi gave you the thumbs up. After counting to three, Levi threw the kite high and you jogged backwards, pulling the string up to get the kite into the sky. Releasing the string bit by bit, Levi slowly made his way to your side as the kite now started flying a short distance away. You gave Levi a smile and tied the string around the tree trunk before going to the quadricycle, taking out the picnic basket and setting the mat.
"Now… let's see what the kids made for our picnic." You rubbed your palms together excitedly and opened the basket. You took out a container of hot stew, some freshly baked sourdough bread, cheese, mushroom quiche, and a small container of fruits too. You arranged the food on the mat and took out the bowls, cutlery, and a few serviettes. Pouring some stew into the small bowl, you passed it to Levi's left before giving him the spoon.
"It seems pretty decent," Levi uttered as he took a spoonful of stew and eyed you, "are you sure they did it all on their own?" You ate some stew and nodded.
"Well, Onyankopon did give them pointers, and I was the one who gave them the recipes, but yeah. The kids made it all by themselves. Not bad, huh? Maybe we should let them open a small food stall along the streets." you took another few mouthfuls of stew, "it's time for them to contribute to the household finances." Levi tutted angrily instead.
"They're too young to be doing shit like that, you brat. Don't be ridiculous."
You giggled, cutting some mushroom quiche for Levi. "I'm joking. Of course I wouldn't let Falco and Gabi do something like that. " The crease on Levi's forehead disappeared again as he ate, passing you his bowl for more stew. Levi and you took your time savouring the good food prepared by the two kids. It was pretty decent, and indeed you were secretly thinking of letting them open a small food business once they are of age.
Once all the food was finished, you told Levi to pack everything fast. Bewildered, Levi didn't say anything, yet he wondered what you were up to again. You got Levi up onto the quadricycle again and told him that there was one place you wanted to bring him. Stopping the quadricycle, you helped Levi down and laced your arm around his again, walking him to some benches ahead. The park was located right next to the sea, and it was pretty empty, just the way you hoped.
"Come on," you muttered as you helped him down, walking towards the bench, "we're just in time."
"For what?"
"You'll see."
Taking your seats on the bench, you checked your watch before glancing ahead again, looking at the dispersing clouds. Before long, the sun started to set, painting the sky a beautiful hue of red, orange, and yellow. You could feel Levi let out a breath he didn't know he was holding, and you grabbed his hand, feeling your fingers interlock. The both of you continued to stare silently at the magnificent view ahead, watching the sun descend lower and lower, listening to the waves crashing on the shore, feeling the wind blowing against your skin. You could feel Levi's calloused fingers caressing your knuckles, and the familiarity tickled something in your memory.
"Brings back memories, huh, Heichou," you peeked at Levi, seeing him trying to hide a small smile as well, "we used to do this all the time." Levi hummed in agreement, keeping his eye on the sunset instead.
"I still think the view from the top of the walls were nicer though"—you let go of Levi's hand and stretched your hands—"it was higher, more windy, less obstruction, and more—"
"And more dangerous," Levi frowned as he interjected. You laughed once more, closing your eyes to feel the wind in your hair again. You thought back to the reason why you decided to bring Levi out today, and even though you knew it might make him unhappy, you also knew you had to talk to him about it. Minutes later, the sun had already gone below the horizon, and the sky was gradually getting darker as well. Soon, the lamps nearby slowly started lighting up.
"Say, Levi," you broke the silence once more and Levi hummed in acknowledgement again, "do you… miss the old days?"
"... why'd you ask?"
"I miss those days too, you know. I miss all our friends and comrades too. Every single one of them. Every day."
Levi didn't say a word. You guessed he was probably upset. Yet, you took a deep breath and decided to just tell him the words on your mind.
"I know it's not easy for you to, I don't know, adapt to a normal life again seeing how you've been in the Corps for nearly half your life. B-but, I just don't want to see you wallowing in self-pity, okay? It hurts me to see you like this.
"I don't care whether or not you have missing eyes and fingers, I don't care if you have to be in a wheelchair forever. I'll gladly feed your meals and bathe you, I'll wear your shoes for you and I'll push you wherever you want to go. We'll hunt around Marley to look for beautiful spots to watch the sunset and the stars. I love you for who you are, and that will never change. Falco and Gabi love their Uncle Levi too. So, j-just, don't give up, okay?"
"Who said anything about giving up?" Levi turned to you, a look of annoyance appeared on his face.
"W-well, I don't know, you're always looking so listless, and you're not eating and sleeping well. I haven't seen you smile in a long time. And once I saw you staring at the mirror looking like you're abo—"
"Hey, hey, stop it, okay? Stop worrying. I'm fine. Really." Levi held your hand and gave you a squeeze. "I'm fine. I'm dealing with it, okay? It's, it's j-just—I'm—"
"Shh. It's okay. I get it. I get you." you hushed him, gently holding him close. You didn't need to see Levi's face to know that he was probably going to tear up, a side of him that will never be seen by anyone else; anyone except you. "Everything will be alright, I promise you. I won't leave you. I'll be by your side."
The both of you remained in each other's embrace, letting your hug do the talking. Patting Levi's back rhythmically, you heard him let out a long sigh before pulling you even closer, tightening his grip around your waist as he buried his head in the crook of your shoulder. You didn't feel the need to ask Levi what he was thinking about, and likewise, Levi knew you wouldn't ask him about it. After a long while, Levi finally loosened his grip around you. The moon was hanging high in the sky and the wind was getting colder. The stars shone like little specks of glitter in the ink-coloured sky.
"Feeling better?"
"Y-yeah, better," Levi hastily wiped the remnants of tears from his cheek, "thank y-yo—
—you interrupted Levi mid-sentence with a soft kiss.
"I love you, Levi. Always remember that. Hmm? I mean it." you gave him another small smile before stroking his cheek, pressing another fleeting kiss on his chapped lips. Levi's larger hand cupped yours as he kissed you back, feeling like time around him stopped, and nothing else in the world mattered. The feeling of your lips on his, the coldness of your cheeks, the warmth from your body; they were real, and a reminder that he was still here, and he was still alive.
Levi broke the kiss first, struggling to find the right words to say while he looked at you. Chuckling, you gave him another smile and mouthed it's okay once more. Levi was never good with words and he was never a good talker, but it never bothered you anyway. Levi gave you an appreciative look while you looked at your watch.
"Come on, Levi. Let's get back to the bicycle shop."
Helping Levi on his feet, you guided him up the quadricycle and the both of you slowly cycled back to the shop. Thanking the shopkeeper for keeping Levi's wheelchair safe, you opened it and gestured to Levi to take his seat, yet Levi shook his head instead.
"Let's walk to the main entrance. There's still time, right?" Levi offered to hold the picnic basket and kite while another hand held your arm for support. You tried to hide your smile as you both walked, listening to the owls hooting in the far distance. Onyankopon's car was already waiting outside by the time you reached the entrance. Seeing Levi walking next to you, a wide smile broke across Onyankopon's face as well.
The journey back home was quiet, yet Levi felt like the weight had been finally lifted off his shoulders. You held on to Levi's hand as he laid on your shoulder, drifting somewhere between sleep and consciousness. Levi knew his road to recovery would not be an easy one. But with you by his side, it was like he found his wings of freedom once more. And for the first time in a long while, Levi went to sleep with a smile.
Disclaimer: This is my first time writing hurt/comfort so I understand if it sucks and there's no hurt or comfort at all LOL I prommie I'll do better for the rest of the requests 🥺

this is random, but a prompt idea that made me giggle is what if Tav wasn’t very interested in Astarion, maybe she’s from a more stoic or conservative country/realm/plane, so his flirting either went over her head or pushed her away… until she sees him sewing. Him acting ‘domestic’ immediately attracts her. Him secretly fixing Karlach’s bear, or later maybe fixing up Yenna’s clothes, makes her give him heart eyes.
Astarion, who already gave up after his flirting failed, is very confused by her sudden attention and requests for sewing lessons. For extra fun, what if post-brain she requests for lessons on sewing tiny clothes, not even realizing she’s asking how to make baby clothes—their baby’s.
Olive Branch
This is a bit different from my other work so I thought I'd give it a go! Not 100% satisfied with it, but I hope you still enjoy, anon!

-----
Astarion finally gave up on seducing Tav . He’d originally pegged her as a naive, and therefore easily charmed and manipulated, cleric. Unfortunately, two weeks of wasted effort proved him wrong. She’d barely spoken or paid attention to him and his overt advances at all.
Any attempts to entrance her with aggressive flirtation or the allure of his sexual wiles seemed to have an opposite effect. In fact, Tav would always gravitate more towards Wyll and Gale and preferred to avoid him almost entirely.
He couldn’t be the issue, of course. He was gorgeous, witty, and made it quite clear he was experienced in bed. He was the man of anyone’s dreams; he knows because he’d manufactured himself to be practically undeniable to the masses.
So then it was obviously her… she was certainly the problem. Something about that – admittedly attractive – cleric was strange; she was oddly secretive about her goddess. The rogue couldn’t even be sure which goddess it was; Tav never referred to the deity by name.
Her apparent distaste for him was concerning, however. Just a few days back, the monster-hunter had outed him as a vampire. The entire group seemed ready to cast him aside after that, save their cleric leader. She’d granted him a moment of mercy and had been able to convince the others that he wasn’t a danger, though he felt he was on thin ice with her and everyone else.
Astarion did not know how he was going to charm his way out of this one. And as the rogue sits in front of his tent, mulling over his options for ensuring his own security, he begins to consider that perhaps he should just suck it up and proposition Lae’zel or Gale. One of them would be sufficient, too.
The elf is ripped from his scheming by a sudden groan of dismay from Karlach just a few tents over. When he turns to survey the scene, he sees the slouched tiefling grasping onto that stuffed bear she slept with every night, muttering something to a concerned Tav.
“Perhaps we can find a new bear, Karlach,” Tav says, frowning as she gently takes the stuffed animal from her friend and spins it around in her hand. The toy’s back seam is split apart; tufts of white stuffing spill from the opening.
Astarion instantly recognizes the issue. And the opportunity. Karlach is easily Tav’s favorite campmate – they were two sappy peas in a pod. It was likely that by offering his aid, he’d be able to win points with both the strongest member in camp and their illustrious leader, all without much effort on his part. Perfect.
“I can fix that for you, Karlach, if you’d prefer!” The rogue calls, snapping shut the book he’d been half-reading before taking a few strides toward his campmate, “It looks simple enough, wouldn’t take me more than an hour or so.”
Karlach, always the easily excitable, affable campmate, is grinning as she responds, “Really, Fangs?! You can do that?”
The silver-haired elf chuckles and then nods, taking the bear from a suspicious Tav before briefly examining it, “Certainly. It’s nothing a simple whipstitch won’t fix.”
And then he returns to his tent and quickly sets to work. As promised, the bear is good as new in just over an hour.
*
Later that evening, the vampire sits close to the campfire, warming his icy skin. Apart from Tav, all his campmates had returned to their tents and since gone to sleep. The cleric was perhaps the only person that loved the fire almost as much as he did; she would often stare at it for long periods of time as if in prayer or meditation.
These nightly moments between the two of them typically passed in relative silence until one or the other dismissed themselves from the strained situation. Sometimes it felt as if they were fighting for a claim over the fire.
But tonight, Tav turns her head to stare at Astarion for a moment too long, prompting him to face in her direction with an arched eyebrow.
“You’re quite talented at sewing,” She says, her eyes flickering across his face, examining it as if it’s brand new and not a visage she’s already known for weeks. Astarion thinks he sees her skin reddening, but then, she’s sitting remarkably close to the flames.
This olive branch is unexpected.
“Is that an actual compliment?” Astarion retorts, feigning shock and cocking his head just slightly, “I suppose I’ll take it, darling. I have to admit it’s preferable to the eye rolls and sighs you normally send my way.”
Tav shrugs, not really refuting any of the rogue’s claims, before continuing on, “I suppose I didn’t think you had a domestic bone in your body. I misjudged you.”
“Domestic?” Astarion asks, his tone betraying his displeasure at being called such a thing. He thinks she means to call him weak and is about to spew an insult in the cleric’s direction before she interrupts.
“I don’t mean offense,” She starts, throwing her hands up in surrender, “I apologize, I forget that isn’t always viewed as a compliment. But where I come from, domesticity is a highly favored attribute.”
The rogue’s vitriol dies in his mouth as he assesses the woman in front of him. He can’t help it, he’s curious, so he asks, “And where do you come from, exactly?”
There is a long moment of silence. Tav heavily considers her response. And then she sighs and shrugs, “I’m from a hamlet in the Dalelands… it’s quite small, made up of no more than a few hundred. Most of us worship Hestia, the goddess of hearth and home.”
Astarion’s eyebrows furrow as he tries to recall this goddess, but he doesn’t recognize the name.
Tav realizes Astarion has no clue what she’s talking about and visibly relaxes, “She is the goddess of hearth and home in our beliefs. Most inhabitants of the Dalelands worship Chauntea… Hestia worship is not widely accepted. It’s generally considered savagery.”
The rogue shrugs. He really didn’t care who worshiped which god. In his eyes, all gods and goddesses were essentially the same and none of them seemed to respond anyway. Everyone was free to beg whatever deity for whatever handouts they wanted; he preferred to abstain from the practice entirely.
“Good for you, darling, go on and worship whoever tickles your fancy,” The elf responds, turning once again to watch the fire.
Another stretch of silence, this one a bit more comfortable than any moments previous. Astarion doesn’t notice as the cleric quietly admires his profile, her eyes filled with a yearning that hadn’t ever been directed towards the vampire until now.
After a while, Tav stands and briefly stretches her muscles. She walks a few steps toward her tent but then abruptly spins around to look at the rogue.
“Astarion?” She murmurs, her tone almost hesitant, as if she’s unsure of herself.
“Yes?” He replies, ripping his eyes away from the fire and dismissing his own thoughts to acknowledge the woman.
“Do you think you’d be able to show me how to sew like you? I only know the basics. I thought you could give me sewing lessons and I could teach you something in return… crochet or how to play the lyre, perhaps?” She asks, her hands twisting together in an anxious knot as she speaks.
The rogue nods almost imperceptibly, subtly cocking his head as he processes Tav’s sudden change in attitude toward him before responding, “Certainly, darling.”
Tav grins, and it appears almost childlike. Astarion feels the briefest flicker of affection toward the woman at her relative innocence, which is such a stark contrast to his own jaded nature.
“Okay, then. How about starting lessons tomorrow night?” She asks, still smiling, her eyes shimmering with excitement.
“Sounds like a plan,” The elf responds, and then watches with idle curiosity as Tav bids goodnight and walks away.
Astarion smiles as he returns his attention to the fire. He thinks this is a nice, simple plan; an easy way to keep himself safe in the wilds. Surely a plan as simple as this couldn't fall apart.
Right?

She ups and leaves Nevermore because she can’t handle the ache in her chest. Xavier, being the psychic that he is, has a vision and tries to stop her. He bursts into her room only to find her side of the room completely empty…He was too late :(You can add fluff if you’d like, maybe once Xavier realizes that Wednesday is all for Enid?

word count: 4.839 warnings: she/her reader, gif is not xavier (i did not keep up with the percy hynes white thing lately :/), angst, fluff at the end, reader does not immediately forgive xavier (SORRY!!), reader has the ability to grow/control plants, doesn't quite follow the right timeline of the show
You and Xavier were together. As best friends. Never did you expect him to crush you like this. And he did not even realize it.
"Here you go, Sleeping Beauty," you push the tray of food toward your friend who now sits opposite you, out of breath and his tie barely tied. "I can't believe you overslept. Again."
Xavier gives you a look before gripping the fork, pricking at the eggs before pushing them into his mouth.
"If it wasn't for a certain someone that wanted to watch every single Twilight movie in one night-"
"Hey!" You let out a laugh, taking a sip of your lukewarm chocolate milk. "I didn't hear any complaints!"
The boy shrugs, grinning at you before quickly eating the rest of his breakfast. There were only about ten minutes left, and he also still needed to brush his hair and fix his tie. The movies were not necessarily what kept him up - he had a lot of things occupying his mind. He had another nightmare about some monster, and he was simply just too scared to go to sleep again.
You fish a small hairbrush out of your bag, getting up before seating yourself next to Xavier. Ever since you found out that he likes to sleep in, you have been taking a 'Xavier care package' with you in your school bag. It has a hairbrush, hair tie, muesli bar, and even a tiny bottle of his favorite cologne. You slowly brush his hair, making sure not to tug too hard.
The bell rings just as you throw the brush back in your bag as Xavier now also stands up, taking your tray in one hand and his own in the other, quickly disposing of them before jogging back to you.
"Thank you for breakfast," he grins, bumping his shoulder into yours before slinging his bag over his shoulder.
When you go to reach for your bag, you see that it has already disappeared as Xavier holds it in his hands.
"Time for Botany!"
-
Botany is a subject that is almost like second nature to you. You have grown up with the ability to control plants and flowers, being able to make them move and grow in the exact pattern you wish them to. In some magical way, you and Xavier were the first ones to sit down in the classroom, taking your usual seat in the front of the class.
"Hey," Ajax greets the two of you before sitting down at the table behind you.
"Morning, Ajax!"
"Man," he rubs his face. "Did you hear about the new girl?"
You shake your head, turning around fully to face the Gorgon.
"Yeah, Enid told me that it is her new roommate or something. Apparently, she got kicked out of her old school because she murdered and ate a kid."
A laugh escapes from both Xavier and you. Nevermore would not let a murderer into their grounds.
"Dude," Xavier chuckles. "Whatever you just smoked, share some with us tonight."
"Good morning, everyone!"
The red-headed teacher stands in front of the class, clapping her hands as she points to a plant that seems to be hidden underneath a glass case and a thin, red fabric.
"Today marks the very start of a new... Genre! But first," she looks over at the table next to yours. "Wednesday. Welcome! We are thrilled to have you join us on our journey into the world of carnivorous plants!"
She pulls the fabric off of the glass case, smiling brightly at the white flower underneath it.
"So, who can tell us the name of this beauty?"
Bianca holds up her hand, ready to answer it. She knows almost as much about Botany as you do.
"Dendrophylax lindenii."
You raise an eyebrow as Bianca looks to the side, confused. Instead of waiting for her turn, Wednesday had just taken it upon herself to answer the question.
"Otherwise known as the ghost orchid," Bianca only smiles, looking Wednesday up and down.
"First discovered on the Isle of Wight in 1854," Wednesday then continues as Thornhill is visibly surprised by her knowledge.
"Well, Wednesday," the teacher taps her chin. "Perhaps you can identify the ghost orchid's greatest qualities."
"Resilience and adaptability."
There is no second of thinking, of doubt. The answer flies out of her mouth in a millisecond, and the answer is not even wrong. Though, the girl speaks with enough confidence to make any answer seem right.
"It's able to thrive in even the most hostile environments."
"But," Bianca grins at her. "Its mere presence can change the ecosystem, causing the established plants to reject it."
The two bicker back and forth as you hide your laugh behind your face, leaning toward Xavier.
"Is this still about plants?" He whispers, a grin also stuck on his face as he looks at the two girls in amusement.
"Thank you, ladies," Thornhill just quickly nods, trying to break off whatever fight the two girls have. "Very... Illuminating insights. Now-"
You do not pay a lot of attention during the rest of the class. You knew all that needed to be known. Xavier scribbled in his notebook, his attention also far to be seen.
-
Wednesday seems to be the center of attention at Nevermore. Not only did she already get into two fights with Bianca, but she also is a huge mystery. What is her power, outside of being dark and sinister?
"Can you hand me the black paint?"
You look up from the flower that you were slowly starting to grow, taking the tub of paint before handing it to Xavier. He is busy painting the small boat for the Poe Cup. He had tried to get you to join the Ophelia Hall team, but you decided against it. You enjoyed watching the Poe Cup, but to actually participate? No.
Xavier thanks you before you both get to your own activities again. The sun is shining as you slowly move your fingers, still staring at the patch of grass as the small flower grows and grows.
"Y/N?"
You hum, the flower slowly stretching out to touch Xavier his shoes.
"Wanna do my make-up for the Cup?"
-
"Xavier! Sit still," you laugh, pulling the brush back. "I only have five more minutes to finish this!"
The boy was getting restless as you stood in front of him, trying to finish up on the clown paint on his face. He was now getting bored, distracting you from your work.
It had only taken you two more minutes to finish the red color as you step back, a proud grin on your face.
"See! Wasn't that hard!"
Xavier hops over to the mirror, observing your job before smiling and nodding.
"If I didn't know any better, then I would have thought that you had the power of Animation."
"Dude?"
Ajax pokes his head around the corner, waving at you with a smile before turning back to his friend.
"We have to get to the boats, man."
"You will be cheering me on, right?"
"Pssh," you smirk. "Always."
-
Xavier had been a bit distant after the Poe Cup. You had heard through Kent and Divina that Wednesday had suddenly shown up in the Nightshade library and that your friend had tried to get her to join, only to be rejected.
You get pulled out of your thoughts when you get an envelope from Coach Vlad. You quietly thank him as you look up at the principal.
"... I trust that you will all put your best face forward!"
You open the envelope as neat letters spell out 'Weathervane, Jericho'. It could have been worse. If you were stuck in Pilgrim World for an entire day, then you probably would have just run away to the woods, hiding in a bush before it was time to come back out.
Ajax pops up from right behind you, holding his envelope in front of you.
"Uriah's Heap?" You raise your eyebrow with a grin.
"Uh-uh," he nods, "Apparently Xavier really wanted it. But, I heard from Wednesday that Enid is also going to be there."
He still had a crush on Enid? You look behind him, seeing Wednesday and Enid standing close, though Wednesday is still deadpanned.
"Um," you awkwardly shift your weight to your other foot. "Well... What did Xavier get?"
"Weathervane."
"Why did he want to switch?"
You knew why. He hated Tyler with his entire might.
"Long story. Basically, Wednesday had Uriah's Heap, but then switched with Enid to go to Pilgrim World instead. Now me and Enid are going to be at the Heap! What did you get?"
"Weathervane."
"Oh! At least you aren't going to be alone. You will have Xavier!"
You look to your right, seeing Xavier standing there with a slightly disappointed look.
"Yeah."
-
Xavier did not even look at you while you were in the bus to Jericho. Instead, he got out of the vehicle as one of the first ones, Wednesday soon catching up to him. Staring at a blank wall, how interesting could that be? You just make your way past them and toward your workplace for today, not noticing the burning eyes of Xavier on the back of your head.
"Hey! Nevermore kid, right?"
The bell rang above your head as you see a brunette boy standing in front of you, a big, goofy smile on his face. He is wearing a brown shirt and a dark red apron.
"Yeah, that's me," you nod with a small smile. "I am Y/N."
"Perfect! Uh, was there going to be someone else?"
He blinks for a second, shaking his head quickly before awkwardly laughing.
"Not- Not that you aren't enough! I just mean-"
"No problem," you chuckle. "I heard that there should be someone else."
"Okay," the boy nods. "I am Tyler, by the way. I will be guiding you through the craft of coffee making today!"
You are already dressed with the t-shirt and the dark red apron when Xavier finally comes in. Tyler immediately tenses up a bit as he walks up to the counter, the piece of paper with 'Weathervane' in his hand.
"I'm supposed to be here."
Tyler nervously looks at you before straightening his back, nodding at the boy in front of him.
"Yeha, I uh, I will get you an apron," Tyler turns to you. "You can make yourself a drink if you would like. Consider it as practice."
You thank him with a smile on your face. This is the first time in a while that you are with just Xavier again, but he almost seems less than happy.
"So," you grab a cup from the counter. "Any drinks? I can make you a cappuccino?"
He shakes his head, dropping his bag behind the counter before taking the apron out of Tyler his hands. Your friend doesn't say a word while you only return to finishing up your hot chocolate. There is no one in the Weathervane yet, so you might as well enjoy it for as long as you can.
The small bell dings above the entrance as Principal Weems comes in. Tyler greets her with a smile as he places the cappuccino that you were practicing on to the side.
"You want to try?"
You shrug.
"Sure," you respond with a smile, before turning to Principal Weems. "Hi! How can I help you, Principal Weems?"
She smiles at you sweetly before scanning the menu.
"Ah, I will settle for a latte macchiato and a slice of the apple cake, please.
You shoot Tyler a confused look. You had never used the register before, or even heard of a latte. He only smiles, reassuring you before stepping a bit closer, showing you how the register works.
"So, the pastries are here," he clicks on the apple cake. "And then a latte."
He is leaning over you as he presses different buttons. He is so close to you, that you can smell the fresh scent of his perfume. Tyler finishes up the order as Principal Weems sits down in a booth, flipping through pages of her notebook.
Tyler doesn't leave you behind though, as he shows you how to make the drink to perfection. You have never even made anything like this, but it actually is quite fun.
"So, everything on a tray," the cup and the small plate get placed onto one. "And then it's ready! Xavier, you want to bring it?"
He doesn't say anything, instead just lifting up the tray before walking over to the principal.
"Weren't the two of you, like, friends?" He whispers quickly.
You were always in the Weathervane with Xavier. Sure, the tall boy has quite a history with the artist, but the way he acts now seems out of place, even to him.
"Yeah," you nod. "He's been ignoring me, though."
-
The day flies by. You have made more coffee than you had expected to make, but luckily you are able to drink as much as you want. It is nearing two pm, and you have already downed four hot chocolates.
"Aren't you supposed to be at Pilgrim World?"
You almost think that Xavier is talking to you, but when you look up, you see him standing next to Wednesday. The pig-tailed girl turns around, facing him while shaking her head.
"I left to preserve some of my sanity."
"Could I make you a drink? One of the many perks of this wonderful job," he sarcastically says, leaning against the counter.
For the entire day, he had not spoken a word to you. But now, now that Wednesday is here, he immediately finds back his voice. The girl raises one eyebrow before shaking her head.
"I need to talk to Tyler."
The grin that sat on Xavier his face quickly drops as you just breathe in deeply.
"Hey, Wednesday," you quickly smile. "I uh, I will get Tyler. He is having his break right now."
She nods as you walk away from behind the counter, passing Xavier before making it to the small room in the back. Tyler decided to take his break now as there weren't too many guests yet. He is looking down at his phone, only looking up when he hears your footsteps.
"Oh, hey!"
"Hey," you point to the door. "Wednesday is here. Said she needed to talk to you?"
"Uh, yeah! Yeah, I'm coming."
You nod before taking a deep breath, looking at the clock on the wall. You then follow Tyler out of the small room and go back to your place behind the counter. Wednesday and Tyler soon engage in a hushed conversation as Xavier looks away, walking around to pick up things from the tables again. He seems upset, and though you want to help him, you aren't sure if you can. It is almost like he is... jealous.
"Y/N? Do you know how to make a Quad?"
"For sure!"
"In a to-go cup," Wednesday tells you before turning back to the papers on the table.
It takes only a few minutes before the small cup is placed on the counter. Wednesday takes it before walking off, not sparing anyone else a look. Xavier, however, follows her with his eyes, not even looking away from the window after she long has disappeared.
Maybe he didn't feel the same way about you as you did about him. You always thought so - normal best friends didn't cuddle or even share secret kisses.
-
It was after school, and you decided to make a trip down to the art shed to go see Xavier. He had not really been responding to your texts, and you were slowly starting to get worried. What if he had nightmares again? You knew that he barely took care of himself in times like that, so you had bought some of his favorite foods and drinks to bring to him. You had checked with Ajax to see if he knew where your friend was, but he knew of nothing.
You and Xavier are- were inseparable, always together, wherever you were. But now, you had not really spoken to him in weeks. The bag is quite heavy, but nothing you couldn't handle. You hum when you enter the woods, your fingers tingling as small flowers sprout up when you walk. Your mood is surprisingly happy, hoping to see Xavier and spend some time with him.
It is not like you have never been to the art shed - if anything, you are one of the only people at Nevermore that knows about its existence, let alone of its whereabouts. You get closer and closer to the small building, your other hand now holding the bag as a small patch of daisies stays behind.
You walk a bit slower when you already hear voices coming from the shed.
"... over Ms. Thornhill's homework assignment."
Homework from Ms. Thornhill? She didn't assign any - she specifically stated it.
"She... She didn't give us homework."
It's Xavier.
You peak out from behind the tree, seeing Xavier standing there, Wednesday Addams opposite of him.
"Remember?" He chuckles. "Why are you really out here?"
The pig-tailed girl stays quiet, her eyes never leaving Xavier as he grins, an eyebrow raised before leaning down just a tiny bit.
"Wait," he lets out a soft laugh. "Is this about a certain dance that makes you want to poke needles into your eyes, perhaps?"
The Rave'n? He had promised months ago that he would go with you, so why is he bringing it up now? Not to mention that Wednesday is probably less than excited for it. She almost looks distraught as she swallows, a grimace almost on her face.
"I'm all ears."
There he stands, with that stupid grin that you so wished was pointed towards you. But instead, he is standing there with someone that would not even care if he died. Wednesday seems deep in thought, trying to go over the choices she actually has.
"Are you really going to make me ask?"
"Oh," he exclaims, that smile never leaving his face. "Absolutely."
Wednesday sighs, her hands clasped together as she tries to find any words to get it out.
"Would you," she pauses. "Would... Would you possibly consider going to the Rave'n dance with a certain..."
Xavier nods, his hands resting in his pockets as he looks at the pig-tailed girl, an amused look in his eyes.
"Would- Would you go to the dance with me?"
She is not even stuttering because she is shy, or scared he is going to reject her. No. She has just never uttered those words in her life, and she does not wish for it to happen again. You swallow thickly, your eyes falling to the bag in your hands as you hear more chuckles coming from your best friend. The plants around you slowly start wilting.
"Yes, Wednesday, I would love to go to the dance with you." He shrugs. "I thought you would never ask."
You immediately turn on your heels, rushing back to your dorm room. You do not care who follows you, all you care about is getting as far away from Xavier as possible. Not only did he ignore you, but now he is going to the Rave'n with Wednesday, though you were certain that you agreed on going together.
"God, I can't wait for Rave'n next year," you sighed, scrolling through your phone.
You were supposed to attend the dance, but Nevermore had to cancel it because of a fire that had broken out in the lower part of the school.
"Still going with George next year?"
"No! He told me that he only wanted to take me because someone bet on it."
Xavier grimaces, shaking his head before plopping down on his bed.
"Good, he is an ass anyway."
"What about you? Any date for next year?"
"Hm," he thinks. "Not really. We can always go together. You and me."
What a lie that was. The Rave'n is only in three days, and the end of the school year will be in just two weeks after that.
-
It has barely been twenty-four hours since you had seen Xavier and Wednesday at the art shed. You were sitting at breakfast, quietly pushing your food around with your fork.
"God," Divina sits down next to you, "Did you not get any sleep?"
"I wish," you let out a sigh. "Just dreading to go to the Rave'n."
"Why? I thought you had a dress and everything already."
You glance at the Siren who is sipping her drink, a curious look in her eyes as she leans on the table.
"I was supposed to go with Xavier. We agreed on that, like, half a year ago. But yesterday, Wednesday asked him out and he said yes!"
"What a guy," she shakes her head. "He has been acting strange for like, weeks now. Not that he wasn't strange before. No offense."
"Tell me about it," you let out a giggle, sipping your apple juice before pushing the tray back.
"If you don't want a date, you can always tag along with me!"
-
It is ten thirty when you hear a knock on your dorm door. Your roommate was going to be out for a bit, sneaking around with her partner, and besides, she had the key. Who else would show up? Especially during the time you should be sleeping. You let out a sigh when you hear another knock, slowly standing up to open the door.
Behind it stands Xavier, a glum look on his face as he lets out a shaky sigh. He fiddles with the hem of his shirt, something he only did when he was nervous.
"Xavier?"
"Yeah," a small smile. "Can I please come in? Thornhill will kill me if she sees me here."
You stick your head out of the door before pulling him in, quietly closing the door behind him as you turn around to face him.
"Haven't seen you in a while."
It almost felt weird to stand this close to him, the smell of his perfume and paint sticking to his clothes. His hair is loosely tied in a small bun, a style that always resulted in him stealing your hair ties.
"I just... I need you."
You frown, sitting down on your bed before tapping next to you. Are you mad and disappointed that he ignored you? Yes. But he must have seen that he was acting weird.
"Wednesday thinks I am some sort of monster. Asked me out to the Rave'n as some type of disguise."
He slowly sits down as well, staring at his hands as you reach over into the bag that you had brought for him today. You take the small bag of Skittles out of it, placing it on his lap. His lips push together in a smile, looking over at you.
"I'm sorry for ignoring you. There is just-" Another sigh. "The nightmares came back. Even worse than before."
You grimace, pulling your knees up to your chest.
"God," you shake your head. "You okay?"
"Outside the fact that my art is starting to attack me and that I haven't slept in a few days, kind of."
He opens the pack of Skittles, holding it out to you before taking a Skittle himself.
"I'm sorry Wednesday did that to you," you then finally mumble.
Sure, you wished you were with him instead, but he did not deserve that to happen to him.
"I deserved it," he shrugs. "After ignoring my best friend, I deserve some karma. I'm so, so sorry."
You look up at him, his eyes pulling you in as you let out a trembly sigh. What are you supposed to say?
"As long as you never do it again," you smile softly.
"What about the Rave'n? You and me."
You are quiet for a second. It is exactly what he said before, and you should not forget that he ignored you for weeks. But, going all by yourself will also suck.
"Only if you promise to match with me," you grin.
"Oh, always!"
-
It is the night of the Rave'n and you were putting on your last few items. Xavier was going to have some black ribbons with his outfit, so you knew that you wanted some as well. He had cut some off for you, which you happily tied into your hair and around your wrists. After spritzing some perfume on your neck and wrists, you hear a knock on your door.
You quickly walk toward it, opening it to reveal Xavier, neatly dressed in his suit and his hair pushed out of his face.
"Wow," he mumbles, clearing his throat before smiling, holding out his arm. "Ready?"
"Ready!"
The music gets louder the closer you get to the party, Ms. Thornhill standing in front of the door to greet everyone. You look up at Xavier with a big smile on your face. You are finally here, with him, at the Rave'n. It could not have been any better. There are curtains with warm fairy lights that reflect in his eyes. He looks beautiful.
After greeting Ajax and his date, you both sit down at a table, drinking some Yeti-tinis while talking about everything you possibly could. You missed him, and he had missed you. Ajax and his date had also decided to sit down at your table, and even Divina had found her way over to the two of you.
Xavier his hand had ghosted over your knees and thighs multiple times, the touch of his fingers so soft as it almost felt like you imagined it.
"Woah, check that out!" Ajax points to the door, a surprised look on his face. "Wednesday totally busted out of her cocoon."
Wednesday walks into the party, almost looking disgusted as she hears the music and sees the people. The thing that confused you more was Tyler Galpin standing next to her. Did she really pick Tyler? Your eyes slide over to Xavier, his eyes trained on the girl as his eyebrows are furrowed. His jaw is clenched and his fists are resting on his lap.
"Xav? You okay?"
You knew all about the things Tyler did to him, including the last Outreach Day. He shrugs you off, shaking his head before letting out a sigh.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Never better."
It took Wednesday not even one second to erase all the effort that you had put into cheering Xavier up. It had only taken some more seconds before the boy stood up, making his way through the crowd of people while leaving you behind. You should have expected this. You chew on your cheek as you shake your head, blinking a few times before crossing your arms.
"Hey! No, nothing of that," Divina shakes her head, standing up before grabbing your hands. "I am your date now!"
The dancing cheered you up. No matter if it was a slow dance, or if you were jumping up and down, it helped a lot. You had not seen Xavier again until the next song was playing. He was sitting in the same seat, his eyes looking into the crowd, and for a second, you thought that he was looking for you.
But no.
In the middle of the room stood Wednesday. Dancing. Something you never expected to see. And it didn't only catch your attention, but also his.
You took this as a chance to get another Yeti-tini, waiting for the song to end while still looking at Xavier.
"Y/N, come on! It's the last dance!"
Fuck it. You are going to have fun.
Divina pulls you onto the dance floor, jumping up and down while twirling you around. Laughs escape your lips as you are surrounded by your friends, it is everything you could wish for.
The fun doesn't last too long, though, as some sort of liquid comes falling down from the ceiling. You pause for a second, looking down at your clothes before realizing that the liquid is red.
"Come on, let's go!"
You are confused, still standing in the same position while trying to get out, but the floor is slippery and your shoes make it even harder to try and find your way out. You bump into Xavier as you both try to get out, but the only thing he does is keep walking.
That was it.
-
"An early leave?"
You slowly nod.
"It is a family get-away. Something that only happens every ten years. We uh, we go and restore plants and forests that need it."
Principal Weems looks at you, an eyebrow raised before looking down at her laptop.
"I see," she nods. "Well, it seems that you did have perfect attendance and grades during this year. Any more tests or essays that need to be made?"
"No," you respond. "Everything has been handed in already."
"Good," the woman looks up at you, a sweet smile on her face. "Only this once. I assume you will be leaving next Wednesday?"
The word makes your throat tighten as you shake your head.
"Actually... Would tomorrow be okay?"

I am so down bad for Risotto to the point I would let him do whatever he wants with me
I cannot resist big titty goth men who can break my spine with ease (I have a type 😭)
If he was genderbent I would fold SO fast it’s not even funny, especially if Risotto looks identical to how he is as a man in height, mass and build (But slightly leaner and her breasts are just huge) she could suffocate me between them and I would tell her ‘Thank You’ 😂
Yandere Vampire Countess or Count Risotto haunts me in my dreams
Darling is a foreigner looking for work and takes up working for the Villages’ Count of this land as a his newest servant (Gaining Risotto’s obsession as the scent of her blood told him all he needed to know, she’s his Soulmate)
Risotto stalks Darling while she sleeps, visiting her in her sleep, groping, touching and leaving bites all over Darling’s body, whispering all the dirty things he plans to do to his ‘Little Bride’ in her ear and plans to keep her locked away within his castle for eternity (No one dares go against Count Nero, the villagers are too fearful of the evil and cruel Count who’s rumored to devour young virgin women and dabbles in the dark arts in magic) he’s not against keeping Darling dizzy and delirious drinking her blood on a basis (Not enough to kill, but enough to give Darling a hard time to move around)
Risotto keeps Darling within his bed chambers, and used his hypnotism to make Darling believe she’s engaged to him as his wife and that she’s very frail, sickly and needs his help to move around as her legs don’t work properly (Risotto broke Darling’s legs after she tried to run, but altered her memory into thinking she had an accident falling down stairs and broke her legs)
I'm going feral please, you have no idea of the primal scream that left my mouth reading this. Why must you make me choose.
Doing fem because I need more to write more wlw (I'm starving for more).
Made me think of this meme btw
Vampire fem!Risotto
Darling is an aspiring novelist and has been going to mysterious places in hopes of finding the inspiration for a page turning tale, so she goes hitch hiking around Europe and ends up in a strange small town only to find her purse has been stolen. She's stuck in this town where she can barely communicate with the locals. So when she finds an advertisement written in English She's hopeful. It's a maid position at the castle just out of town with accommodation. It's like everything has worked out for darling.
When darling arrives she's met by a tall woman, practically chiseled by angels. Short white hair, jet black sclera and ruby eyes. All dress elegantly in a low cut white blouse and black dress pants. She could have been a model if she wanted to.
"sei qui per la posizione?" She asks.
"I'm here for the position" you tell her.
"Forgive me, it's not often I get people around" she apologizes in a stern tone.
"Come inside, then we shall discuss the job" she told you as she held the door open for you. Little did darling know her fate was sealed. Countess Nero had her fair share of prey, only a few months ago did she have a group of hitch hikers working for her, fun to mess with but eventually they had served they're purposes.
Darling however was different, she could tell there was something more too her. So of course she'd give her the position (even if she was not good at cooking and cleaning).
Risotto always has her eyes on darling while she works. Even offering darling to eat with her. Eventually she decides to check in on her sleeping. Sleeping so serene in a pretty little nightgown. All too tantalizing to the countess.
Her hands graze upon her, then they squeeze. She doesn't care if darling woke up as she'd just use her powers to make her forget or believe it was a dream. Soon she's got darling held in her arms biting into her upper breast. Such a rich, full bodied flavor, comparably to a vintage cabernet sauvignon. She's hooked.
Darling starts noticing strange things, not enough to concern her but enough that she notes it down. Strange redish marks, weird sounds at night. In town when she goes shopping people try to avoid her. Darling hasn't turned yet.
One night she does wake up.
"My little bride, when the blood moon comes you shall finally be mine for eternity" she hears a muttered voice speak as a hand strokes her face.
Darling tries to get up but is pushed back into the bed by Risotto.
"You don't need to go anywhere" she tells darling before trying to influence her to back to sleep but it somehow doesn't work (maybe a heirloom in the form of a pendant that is able to stop her influence).
Daring is able to catch Risotto off guard and run out of the room. She attempts to escape but loses her footing down the stairs and hurts herself horribly.
"You shouldn't have run, I just want you here with me for eternity" the countess says as she walks towards darling.
"Why?!" Darling asks.
"Because I love you, surely you feel the same too" she told her. In truth darling had a crush but believed she was far out of the countess's league.
She eventually figures out the pendant is what is affecting her influence and tears it off before putting darling to sleep. Something this traumatic can't just be played of as a dream or forgotten, so she decides to reframe that memory as a horrible accident as well as altering a few more to make darling a little more affectionate. Heals her up too.
When darling wakes up she's there to explain what happened. White the memory changes darling believes they're engaged. Risotto even managed to find a pretty platinum and sapphire ring to slip on her finger before she woke up.
Everything is good but something feels of to darling. Risotto is making arrangements as the blood moon approaches. Darling ends up discovering her notebook and starts questioning what's going on before remembering. She turns to immediately be confronted by Risotto who snatches the notebook, it crumbles to cinders in her grasp.
"If I had known about that I would have destroyed that sooner" she scowls. Darling tries to escape again. Risotto now pissed goes for the initiative and is able to capture her.
"I give you two options, you can agree to marry me or I shall force you" she hisses.
"If I can remember now then I can do it again! I refuse to marry you!"
"Then you shall face the consequences of your decision" she says before breaking her legs.
"All I need is to bide my time til the blood moon, then you shall be bound to me forever" she continued before putting her asleep and tampering with her memories again.
Once again darling wakes up and Risotto explains that darling was in a horrible accident and that their wedding is in a few days now.

Malcolm x Queen!Reader Pt. 4
IMAGINE...Being the Oldest child to Robert Queen, the Older sister to Oliver and Thea, having an on going secret affair with Malcolm Merlyn that is only getting more complicated.
(This installment of the series is based roughly two years before Oliver returns)
Word Count: 2, 906
Warning: Small bit of NSFW Possible OCC!Malcolm Merlyn (I’m still a little rusty but I’m getting there!)
Author’s Note: HONESTLY, I enjoyed writing this so much! And I am so grateful to everyone who has continued to message me/anon me regarding this getting an update. It is my hope that will be just as good - if not better - than the three parts that came out in 2017 and my deepest apologies to everyone who has been waiting so patiently for it!
Author’s Note 2: I HOPE THE READER DOESN’T FEEL LIKE A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CHARACTER FROM THE FIRST THREE PARTS
Pt. 1 2 3 5 6 7
Future Parts: I HAVE AT LEAST THREE OTHER IDEAS THAT WILL BE TYPED UP FOR FUTURE INSTALLMENTS - and I am rewatching season 1 of Arrow so far! So I will definitely NOT be abandoning this series!
(GIF ISN’T MINE! FOUND IT ON GOOGLE, WILL REMOVE IF ASKED TO)
When you made that decision to get close to Malcolm, to let his dangerously handsome and tempting personality draw you in all so you could find out what he knew about your father’s and brother’s tragic deaths, you never could have imagined how screwed you were from the very beginning. And you never could have foreseen the affair going on for years after it had started.
You wanted to get justice for the loss you and your family had felt, but you found comfort in Malcolm Merlyn and over time you selfishly let yourself fall further and further in love with the CEO of Merlyn Global.
Mom was selfish when she fell for Walter.
Thea does selfish things to try and win mom’s attention.
So why couldn’t you choose something, someone, in the world to be selfish about?
*
“…with this we have been reassured that Queen Consolidated will see a fifteen percent increase in productivity and profits in the first six months followed by a total of eighty five percent increase by a year and a half, tops.” With a click of the little, white remote in your hands, you turned away from the projector screen where a detailed and colorful graph was being displayed to smile (politely, forcefully so) at the table of old men in suits and your step-mother.
“And…” the nasally voice of John Piston came from the left side of the table, near the door, and you barely bit back your sigh and aggressive eye roll. Italian, dark haired, expensive suit like everyone else in the room, with a habit of cheating on his young, super model wife with her friends. “…how exactly, Miss Queen, do you plan on getting the support from Merlyn Global that you’ve been promising will be partnering with us on this project?”
“John,” Moira sighed and gave him a smile of irritation, turning her gaze from you to him “Has my daughter ever failed to hold up her end of promises? Has she ever failed to persuade Malcolm Merlyn or any other company to partner with us when she’s put her mind to things? If she says that Merlyn Global will take part in this venture than we should trust Y/n.”
You smiled around the room and turned back to look at the projector screen, to finish your part of the meeting, while saying, over your shoulder, “I’ll get it in writing during lunch this afternoon, if that is what you wish, Mr. Piston.” Knowing that there was no way he would talk down to you further or respond with any snarky comments while the two of you weren’t alone.
That didn’t prevent Moira from saying something once the meeting was over and the room was empty. Appearing at your side, she murmured, “Another lunch with Malcolm? This has become a habit over the last year or so.” She was fishing for information, attempting to irritate you just enough so you would slip up.
It worked every time when you were a kid, and so your stepmother had continued to use it as you became an adult. Though, it works less often now.
“Mom,” you smiled, turning to look at her as you closed your laptop. Reaching out, you squeezed her hand and reassured her that everything was alright. “Mr. Merlyn and I are business partners, just as you and dad always were. Our lunch dates are strictly professional. It is why we make sure to have them in public with others nearby. I know the lines of propriety, mom, I promise.”
You could tell she didn’t fully believe you, but she didn’t push.
“I have to go. I’ll see you at dinner.” You offered her a gentle smile and kissed her cheek before gathering your things and leaving the conference room, looking toward your assistant, Kayla, as she fell into place beside you, “My car?”
Kayla made a look close to a grimace and apologized, saying “Mr. Merlyn’s limo is waiting outside. He called and changed plans about fifteen minutes ago.” She didn’t like Malcolm. She was always saying there was something about him that didn’t sit well with her. But Kayla especially didn’t like how difficult he made her, and your, life when he suddenly changed plans at the last minute.
You couldn’t disagree completely.
It was beyond frustrating when he changed plans without notice, as if he could make decisions for you, no matter how often you complained to him about it.
“And is Mr. Merlyn waiting in this limo?” You asked through gritted teeth as you stepped into your office, moving to place your laptop and the few file folders you had taken with you to the meeting on your desk.
“He didn’t say,”
Of course, he didn’t. That would have made my life too easy.
Keeping your comment to yourself, you locked away any important and private documents into your desk drawer and then grabbed your clutch purse and the vanilla folder with Malcolm’s copy of the meeting’s notes.
He might make my life hell, but I don’t feel up to playing childish games today.
Besides, you could hardly go to a supposed lunch meeting without discussing some sort of business. Or, giving the impression that you had discussed such.
Grabbing your coat off the hook next to the door, you shrugged it on and called over your shoulder to Kayla, “Please call Mr. Merlyn and inform him I am on my way.” You made sure to shrug off her offer to attend the luncheon before she had a chance to offer. Some part of you knew that she had caught on to the fact that something beyond business was happening between you and Malcolm, but whatever she knew, Kayla was loyal and would never tell anyone unless you were doing something illegal. And even then, there was a chance she would keep it to herself depending on what the illegal act was.
“Miss Queen,” Malcolm’s driver greeted as you neared the limo, the man offered you a pleasant smile and opened the door.
“Jude,” you greeted with a genuine smile as you stepped past him and slid into the street limo, not wasting any time.
Your gaze settled on the man beside you as the door shut with a soft thud. For a moment, you said nothing. You held his gaze and breathed in the familiar smell of him that hung lightly in the air around the both of you.
The only thing you could think to say after a few moments of silence was, “Louis is more than capable of driving me to the restaurant, Mr. Merlyn.” You mentally gave yourself a pat on the back for not leaning into him as you had done so often before.
“Hello to you as well, Miss Queen.” Malcolm laughed, reaching across the seat to place a hand to your knee, his fingers squeezing through your skirt and pantyhose.
You should have shoved his hand away, but it was the last thing on your mind.
Jude had retaken his seat behind the wheel and cautiously pulled away from the curb. Once the limo was apart of the Friday afternoon traffic, the divider cutting off Jude’s view into the backseat was put into place.
Tinted and one way – you and Malcolm could see through it, but not the other way around.
A laugh slipped past your lips at the irony of it; an irony you chose to share with Malcolm as he threw you an amused, curious raised brow.
“I told Moira we were going to be in public, surrounded by people, as this was strictly professional.” You watched Malcolm, finally giving in and reaching out to trace the pattern on his blue and black tie. “She’s concerned that this has become a habit of mine. A habit that is…less than appropriate.”
Chuckling, Malcolm leaned over and placed his lips to yours, “Maybe she’s jealous.”
“Malcolm,” you huffed, pressing your hands to his chest. Your fingers grabbed at the fabric of his shirt instead of pushing him away as you probably should have. “Jealous? Of what?” Surely, if your stepmother had anything for Malcolm that she had had plenty of time to make a move in the three years that your father had been dead. And she and Walter wouldn’t be set to marry in a month. “I think she’s just worried that I’ll do something stupid that could hurt Queen Consolidated.” What else could there be?
There was something in his eyes as Malcolm playfully agreed with your assumption. He obviously had a different opinion, but you were glad he chose to keep it to himself. Still, it was a look that made you uneasy.
Was there something between your stepmother and Malcolm? Or…had there been something? In the past?
Malcolm leaned forward once more, this time pressing his lips to your jaw and trailing his mouth down to your shoulder – peppering kisses across your skin as he pulled your coat and blouse to the side.
“And do you agree with her?” he asked, his voice a little raspy but still airy and near condescending as it always was.
You said his name almost in a whimper, your grip on his shirt tightening as you shifted in the seat, turning so you were facing him and not just half turned in his direction.
“Do you agree that this is inappropriate? That perhaps we should stop doing things as we have been?” Malcolm prompted as he pulled back, his hands grabbing the lapels of your coat.
“Are you breaking up with me, Mr. Merlyn?” you teased softly, knowing that’s exactly what he was doing.
Building the suspense. Postponing the inevitable.
Choosing to play along, you let go of his shirt and shrugged, turning to look outside the best you could with him still having a hold of your coat. “Perhaps, Malcolm, my stepmother is right. I mean, maybe it would be best for us to end things and for me to find someone closer to my age.” Smirking, you looked at him with a fake look of curiosity and innocence, and asked “Is Tommy seeing anyone? Perhaps I chose the wrong Merlyn male to get close to.”
Malcolm’s jaw ticked and all signs of amusement were gone.
As you knew would happen, every bit of him was seething with possessiveness.
Whatever had been going on with you and Malcolm, the CEO of Merlyn Global didn’t like to share his toys when he still had use for them.
His knuckles had to be hurting with how tightly he was still holding onto your coat, but Malcolm didn’t seem to care if he noticed as he pulled you into his lap and smashed his mouth to yours. It was nowhere near the playful, lazy kiss from minutes earlier.
It was entirely aggressive, and Malcolm didn’t hold anything back as he dominated the kiss with expert tongue, lips, and teeth.
His hands didn’t loosen even a fraction until you were moaning his name and were fighting every part of you not to rock your hips in his lap – your navy-blue skirt had ridden up to the top of your thighs allowing for the perfect (and very dangerous) friction between your clothed sex and his left thigh where he had placed set you at the beginning of the kiss.
“Is…is that a no about me dating Tommy th-Malcolm.” You had barely gotten the question out, knowing you were only poking the bear further, when one of his hands was between your bodies and slipping past the waistband of your panties. “Wha-we cant!” you hissed, throwing a look over your shoulder toward the front of the limo. Even knowing Jude couldn’t see you, that didn’t stop the panic that filled the pit of your stomach.
“Oh, we definitely can.” Malcolm hissed, his hand cupping your soaked heat, “We can do whatever we want.” His free hand grabbed the back of your neck, keeping your eyes locked on the soft blue of his.
I can do whatever I want.
That’s what he was really saying.
He truly felt he was above everyone else.
“Is this why you changed our plans? You wanted an afternoon booty call?” you asked, ignoring your desires for a moment to try and stop things from going any further. This wasn’t the first time you and Malcolm had ended up in this position, and from experience you knew that you would have to stop at your apartment before returning to the office. Unless, that is, you wanted to walk around smelling like Malcolm and disheveled. “Mr. Merlyn, you could have just had Louis bring me to your place if that’s what you wanted.”
Malcolm’s lips twitched in amusement at the same time his thumb flickered over your clit, “Why can’t you ever just trust me? Play along, Y/n.”
Trust him?
Isn’t that what you had been doing for a year and a half?
Laughing, breathlessly, you brought your hands up from where they had fallen to his sides and brushed your fingers through Malcolm’s hair. “Trusting you, Mr. Merlyn, is probably the worst thing I have ever done, and yet I continue to do that same, stupid thing over and over and over.” Your fingers pulled at the hair on the back of his head making him smirk as Malcolm allowed you to gently yank his head back.
“Then why do you?” Malcolm questioned, as you peppered his neck with rough kisses that – had you been new to this – would have left love bites behind.
The seconds ticked by between his question and your answer. Seconds that would have given you the out you knew you should have taken a thousand times over.
If you were smart, you would have pulled away and got out of that stupid limo as soon as you could. And if you were smart, you wouldn’t crave his touch and his attention the way you did. Gods, if you were smart, you would have gone to the police and told them of your theory – or, at the least, to Detective Lance and prayed like hell that he didn’t hate you for Oliver’s (and Sara’s) poor decision of allowing Sara onto that damned yacht, and that he would give you just a moment even if just to humor you.
Instead of doing any of that, you found yourself rocking against his hand and kissing him roughly as you growled out, “Because I can. Because I want to.”
*
The two of you barely made it through the front door of Malcolm’s mansion and into the living room before your clothes were tossed aside.
You should have scolded him for having planned to bring you back to his place all along, but the moment you were laid out on the couch and his strong, warm body covered yours, all thoughts of what you should have been doing instead were long gone.
There was no question on whether the two of you were compatible. From the first night you had shared together just a week after that dinner, the connection had been instant and effortless. And every time after had seen both of you well sated and exhausted (it’s how you ended up spending many nights at his place).
Just as you were coming down from what had to be a third orgasm, Malcolm leaned over to place a gentle kiss to your lips. He whispered something in a language you didn’t know, and although you were curious, the gentle way he brushed a few strands of hair out of your eyes was enough to tell you that it didn’t matter what he had said.
Malcolm Merlyn wasn’t sweet or gentle. Not sincerely. In all the months the two of you had been sneaking around, he had never looked at you like that.
“Getting soft on me, Mr. Merlyn?” you tried to tease, but it lacked your usual playfulness. Instead, it came off so fond while so obviously acknowledging his sweet gesture.
Malcolm’s light eyes flickered over your face before he shifted, sitting back so you were seated across his lap. “Would that be so wrong?” he pondered out loud as he gave a lazily roll of his hips.
Your breath stopped, your eyelids closing as you dropped your head onto his shoulder. “No. No I…I don’t think that would be so wrong.” And you let him pull a dozen more sounds from your throat as he manipulated your body so deliciously perfect.
Do not fall in love with him.
Was that not the biggest rule I had when all of this started?
The voice in the back of your head was silenced by the comfort you felt there in Malcolm’s arms. That voice of reason that was there to protect you from harm and, on occasion, from broken hearts was shushed by your denial.
I have everything under control.
I am not falling in love with Malcolm Merlyn…
…but then what was the smile you gave to him as he cooked you a late lunch hours later? If not love than why did you stay the night in his bed, not fucking like affair partners do, but whispering back and forth about some book the both of you were familiar with and your concerns about Thea’s increasingly bad behavior?
If you weren’t falling in love with him, than why did you only feel truly happy and content when he was at your side?

AS MENTIOEND ABOVE, I know that I changed the timing some for Moira and Walter’s marriage (at least, from what I understand from researching the wiki and how quickly I can comfortably imagine the two of them getting together). Roughly, part 4 takes place in 2010 about a year before - from what I have been able to find - Moira and Walter married in the show. It’s a small detail, imo, unless I’m unaware of something SOOOO I decided to go with it!
If anyone would like to be added to a tag list and notified when the next pt is posted, please let me know!

thoughts on poc Nico? I personally headcanon Maria being multiracial (white/Japanese on her fathers side & Jewish/Romani on her mothers)
Just for the record, I have nothing against POC. I am a person of color too (at least i’m pretty sure Asians count…)! I love people the way I hate my life - natural and incomprehensibly deep. I wish you all live long and prosper.
That is to say, I know absolutely nothing about this.
I’m so sorry to disappoint you but i’m… not good with Society and History and generally anything that has to do with cultures and/or civilization. I’m more of a science student. If you ask me about my hometown/home country then yeah, I can offer some insights but outside of that, i’m completely illiterate.
I barely know about the Japanese thanks to the few mangas I’ve read. I know next to nothing about the Romani and I don’t think my limited knowledge about Jewish even counts. 😭😭😭 When it comes to American everything I know about them is just either wrong or unfathomable. Hell, it took me 6 days to write a fanfic about Nico in Venice and 4 days of which were spend googling everything. And still I’m pretty sure some Italians are out there laughing at my mistakes I don’t know I made.
And I don’t think writing about something without at least a hint of what I’m getting myself into would be a good idea. It’s just… disrespectful, imo. I can’t allow myself that. It’d be so much easier was it in some sort of fictional fantasy AUs or whatnot, but this is not. This is real people, real cultures. I can’t just spill nonsense and stick a label on it, can I?
I’m deeply sorry I have to disappoint you, anon. I do hope that there’s someone more educated than me who can share your interest, and should the day come that you’d like to share your thoughts, know that you have my support.
#hope this doesn’t make me racist… i’m just illiterate#the same reason i can’t write about catholic nico although im pretty sure he is. i know nothing ab catholics#gosh im bad at this. ask me about medicals and chances are i can spill everything#but switch to humans and their civilization and i’m just. dead#nico di angelo#pjo#hoo#toa#yone rambling#percy jackson and the olympians#heroes of olympus#trials of apollo

Maybe you are also a part of the BAU and witness all of it ? Lmk if you forget the episode or are unable to look it up and I can help! ❤️
pairing: spencer reid x reader category: fluff, angst content warnings: mentions of violence & sa, post prison reid, innuendos word count: 1.6k
The phone began ringing, making the couple scramble awake in unison. The girl reaches over, looking at the caller ID and sighing before answering. "Let me guess, a case?"
"You're kidding."
This alerts Spencer, making him look at his girlfriend, her bare back facing him. Remenants from the night before scattered across her neck, making him smile sleepily.
"Okay, bye, Em."
With a sigh, she collapses against the pillows in their bed and she rolls over to meet his hazel eyes. "We have a case, but, uh, Cat's back." Y/N shuffled towards Spencer, placing a kiss on his jaw, littering kisses down his bare skin in hopes of soothing his nerves that she knew were quick to approach.
"What happened?"
Her lips pulled away from his chest and her eyes met his. "I'm not sure, she didn't say. She said we had to get there kind of quick. But, I think we have time for a shower if y'want." She mumbled, nuzzling her face in his neck, once again kissing the soft skin.
"I rather get this over with. Sorry, sweetheart. I'll gladly take you up on the offer when we get home, though."
The couple walked into the office, and up to the meeting room where Rossi and Prentiss stood, awaiting their arrival. "Catch us up," Spencer said as the two took their seats.
"Early this morning, Garcia got an email from an anonymous server."
Emily pressed a button on the remote, a picture of a man and a woman tied up with another woman holding a gun in between them. "She's not obscuring her face," Rossi started. "telling us she's got nothing to hide."
"Any ideas on the victims or unsub?" Y/N finally spoke.
"No, only the unsub's demands." Emily looked toward the couple. "That we release Catherine Adams in twenty-four hours." Y/N's eyes looked towards Spencer whose face stayed the same.
"I'm having her transferred here for questioning, but we have no illusions."
Y/N grabbed Spencer's hand in her own, letting him know she was there. "I mean, this is just a game to her, we know that." She says what everyone was thinking.
An hour later, Cat arrives, handcuffed at both the hands and her ankles.
The team stood behind the other side of the glass door, watching her walk in. Spencer was already in the interrogation room, so Y/N was standing with the rest of the team. "God, she makes me so angry." She mumbled, looking straight at her, the two not breaking eye contact as she was led past them.
"So, she's a contract killer?" Simmons asked.
Garcia nodded. "Yeah, but she's much much more than that, too." JJ finished her thoughts. "She's a black widow. She preys on men she can seduce. thriving on psychological seduction."
"Oh, and she's obsessed with Spencer."
The team looked towards Y/N who was back near one of the desks now, staring down at the floor. But, the moment was cut short as she got up, walking toward the interrogation room.
"Why does this keep happening to them?" Garcia asks out loud, but nobody answers.
Y/N joined Emily on the other side of the wall, staring into the room. "Has she said anything?" Emily shook her head.
She watched as her boyfriend and Cat stared each other down before Cat stifled a laugh. "Classic negotiating technique. First one who speaks loses, right?"
"You arranged the kidnapping of two people and you did it the same way you did before."
Y/N looked down at her tablet, staring at the picture Penelope was sent, seeing if she could identify anything. The words Cat and Spencer spoke to each other became white noise to her.
"You haven't done me?"
Spencer's voice snapped her out of her thoughts as she looked up once again. "You sexually violated me in Mexico." Cat looked up at him. "I did? You sure?" She crossed her arms over her chest. "Are we really going to argue over semantics here? I mean, we really don't have time."
"For what?"
Cat smiled evilly at him. "I would like to go, on a date, with you." Spencer raised his eyebrows. "A date?" She nods. "Mhm." She holds her head high.
"No way in hell, Emily. No. He's not doing it."
Y/N looks toward Emily who just looked back at her. "What choice do we have?"
Y/N knew Emily was right so an hour later, she stood with the rest of the team, watching Cat and Spencer walk arm in arm together to the elevator. Cat looked right at her and smirked, causing Y/N to start playing with the sleeve of her shirt, something she did when she was nervous.
"Don't wait up."
She goes to step forward at Cat's next words, but Luke wrapped his arm around her midsection, pulling her back. "Let them go, it's alright."
Y/N shrugged herself from his grasp and walked towards the meeting room. "Do you think she'll be okay?" Garcia looked sadly at her friends. "I don't know, Garcia. That's where we need to come in. C'mon. We can't let Cat have the upper hand."
Y/N drove with Luke to the ice skating rink where Cat and Spencer planned to have their 'date'.
"Luke, can you hear me?" Spencer's voice calmed the girl slightly, and she sat back in her chair. "Loud and clear." Luke spoke, looking towards the two who were down on the floor level.
"Light it up."
The two sat for a while, waiting for something to catch them, or her, off guard. "Yes, I'm dating someone, but that doesn't mean.." Y/N looked towards the two after hearing this.
Where was he going with this?
Cat stood up and began to leave, but what Spencer said next couldn't have prepared neither of the women. "She's not you." Luke looked toward Y/N who just stared, quickly wiping a tear from her lashline. Y/N looked down, their voices just becoming distant to her, repeating the words Spencer spoke.
She's not you. She's not you. She's not you.
Cat demanded to see his apartment, so Y/N and Luke left before them, Y/N going inside and sitting on the sofa. "You sure about this, man?" Spencer nods. "Did you mean what you said?" Spencer nods at Cat's questions.
"Prove it then, and make it good."
Spencer cupped Cat's face into his hands, kissing her passionately. Y/N stood looking towards the door as it swung open, revealing the two.
She's not you. She's not you.
Emily ran up to Luke who looked at her. "This isn't good.." He mumbled, filling her in on what happened. Y/N stood, staring at Spencer, quickly wiping a tear.
"She's cute."
Her eyes didn't leave Spencer's as Cat talked. "Did it make you mad I was kissing your boyfriend?" Cat looked at Y/N with a smile. "No." Y/N said, looking at her. "Why not?"
"Well, I kind of have other things in my head at the moment."
Cat looked between the two. "Like what?" Y/N crossed her arms. "Are you going to hurt them?" Cat shook her head. "Not if I have to, no. Honestly, if she listens, she might learn something from this."
"You know, you could do so much better."
Spencer finally broke his eye contact with Y/N and looked at Cat. Because, girlfriend, you need to know the truth about your boyfriend."
Cat looked between the couple and smirked. "I mean, did our kiss look like a lie?" Y/N's eyes found the floor once again, the kiss still burning in her mind. "N-no." She choked out.
After twenty minutes, Cat decided to give them what they wanted, and the case was over. It was revealed that all she wanted to do was see Spencer again before being sent on the death penalty.
Y/N walked out of the apartment, slamming the door and riding back to the office with Luke. "I'm sure he didn't mean it. Reid loves you."
She stared out of the window, wiping a tear. "You didn't see it, Luke. The look he gave her." Y/N looked down at her neck, subconsciously playing with the necklace Spencer had gifted her for their fifth anniversary together.
"Y/N."
Spencer tried calling out to her, but she ignored him, walking to her desk. "Sweetheart, please." Y/N finally met his eyes. "I know, Spencer. I'm not Cat. You made that very clear today."
Hearing Y/N repeat those words to him felt like a stab in the chest.
Spencer took her hands in his, thankful that she actually let him touch her. "I only said that because I needed Cat to give up information. You know I love you, don't you?" Y/N nodded, but Spencer could've missed it from how small of a nod it was.
"Please don't be upset with me."
Y/N met his eyes. "I can't help it, I just... I can't stop hearing your words.. She's not you. She's not you. Just stuck in my brain." He nodded and kissed her forehead. "I love you, Spence. Just don't want to lose you..
"I'm so sorry, darling. I'll never do anything to hurt you ever again. I love you more than there are stars in the sky."
She nodded, wrapping her arms around him, burying her head into the crook of his neck, and breathing in his scent. "Let's go home, baby." Spencer led the two of them out to his car and drove them back to his apartment. Once they walked in, the two discarded their shoes by the front door.
"Now, how about that shower?"

| zemo x reader | smut |
anon requested. bratamer!Zemo or something with Zemo and spanking
cw: spanking, whipping, degradation, gagging
“Turn it down, draga!” Zemo snapped, throwing his office door open to reprimand you.
You were stretched out on the couch, starburst candy in your mouth as you kicked your feet to the beat of loud bubblegum pop music.
You’d already been told twice to turn it down, and Zemo was at his wits end with your obnoxious behavior. He was in meetings, the underlying bass of the songs interrupting his important business.
“I did turn it down.” You rolled your eyes, practically sneering at Zemo.
“You keep up this attitude, and you’re on your way to my wrath,” he warned.
“Whatever,” you turned onto your back, draping your head off of the side of the couch.
He stared at you, trying to let his fury simmer down. He finally pulled the plug on your stereo, plunging the room into silence.
Zemo ignored your glare, unable to put up with your bratty behavior any longer. He returned to his office, apologizing to his client. They finished the meeting, and Zemo had his secretary cancel the rest of his schedule.
.
Meanwhile, you were tanning on the deck, completely bare. His clients got an eyeful as they passed your nude body on their way out, making Zemo seethe.
Before you could say something coy, Zemo’s hand wrapped around your bicep, dragging you inside.
“Helmut-”
“I don’t want to hear it. You’ve disrespected me, and yourself, and I’ve had enough!” Zemo snapped.
You dug your heels in, putting up a fight against his manhandling. You were in a mood, and you wanted to rile the stoic sokovian. Household staff avoided looking at your body as they passed, each person who got a glimpse of you— of what was his— only angered Zemo further.
“You think you’re earning yourself a good fuck, yes? That’s what you want?” Zemo snapped, practically throwing your body up against the wall, getting in your face.
You glared at him, caught in the truth. That was exactly what you wanted— Zemo to fuck you thoroughly. He made a noise of disdain, as if your very existence disgusted him.
“You selfish little brat.”
The blood in your veins turned to ice, and you started to panic, realizing you hadn’t earned the reaction you’d hoped for. His dark gaze frightened you, and you dreaded everything that was beginning to unfold.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to,” you tried to backtrack, tears welling in your eyes.
“You will be sorry,” Zemo hissed, his chest heaving with labored breaths.
He offered no sympathy at the sight of your tears, knowing it was a ploy to get him to lighten your punishment. He wasn’t falling for it, not after how you’d repeatedly pushed his buttons and been disobedient.
“Don’t cry. I haven’t even hurt you yet,” he held your jaw in his hand.
A pathetic whimper escaped your lips, and he dragged you down a side hall in his extensive mansion, to a room you detested. Both of your wrists stayed trapped in one of his hands, while the other pulled a key from the top of the doorframe.
“No, I don’t want to go in the playroom,” you shook your head, struggling against his grip on your wrists.
He said your name in an eerily calm tone, dark eyes boring into you.
“Stop struggling.”
A strained whine caught in your throat, and he pushed you into the room ahead of him. The lock clicked behind you on the door, and your arms went around your naked body. The black marble floor was cold under your feet, contradicting the shame and dread that burned through your skin. Your eyes danced along dark walls, covered in instruments and toys hanging from hooks, to a large bed in the corner.
His hand pressed against your lower back, leading you to the middle of the room, under a honeycomb structure attached to the ceiling. He threaded red cords through it, barely looking at you as he did so.
“Give me your hand.”
You miserably placed your hand in his. Red cord was bound around both of your wrists, tied to the ceiling with just enough pressure to leave your muscles straining, and your feet unsteady.
“Zemo-”
“I don’t want to hear a word out of your slutty mouth unless it’s red.”
You pulled your lower lip between your teeth, falling silent. He walked over to a chest of drawers, pulling out tiny clamps from one of them. You squirmed even before he approached you, the chords rattling against the grate.
You couldn’t escape him, you could barely move even a few centimeters. Your lips were parted, shallow, anxious breaths being exhaled softly. Zemo carefully monitored your reactions, listening to the pained squeak that came as he closed the clamps around your nipples, the sharp pinch biting into your hypersensitive skin. A chain hung between them, and he tugged lightly on it, just to see your toes curl in pain.
You gave Zemo a wounded look, struggling to stay quiet. You knew the rules, making noise and protesting would only land you in deeper trouble. Zemo was angry, and it was not the time to test him. He traced his fingers up your side, smoothing over the curve of your body.
He broke away from you, walking over the wall where different paddles were hanging from hooks. You squirmed in dread as he took a woden one off of the wall, tiny holes in it because he knew it was the one you found the most painful. He reserved it for when you were particularly bratty, or just downright disobedient.
“Stand still,” Zemo broke you out of your spiral of pity.
You exhaled, letting your feet settle on the ground. You didn’t need to be told to count, a quiet “one” falling from your lips as he struck your ass with the wood. Your numbers got progressively more strained until you were sobbing them out, trying not to lose count as your ass burned completely raw.
Your arms ached, held above your head as you struggled not to teeter, your feet unsteady on the cold floor. Zemo had ceased spanking you, letting you hang there. A cracked whine slipped out when he roughly pulled the nipple clamps off of you, sending a split second of blinding pain through your chest.
“You don’t have to count these,” Zemo’s voice broke the silence, making you open your eyes.
You shook your head, another round of tears slipping down your cheeks as he pulled a brown leather whip down. He waited for your safeword, but you didn’t speak, crying silently and turning your face into your arm.
The leather cord cracked against your already painful skin, welts raising and making you scream into the gag Zemo had placed in your mouth. You bit down on the fabric, sobbing as he whipped you for what felt like hours, though in reality it was likely only a few minutes.
He said your name, calling out to you, but you hardly heard him over your heart pounding in your ears. Zemo pried the gag out of your mouth, tilting your head up with both hands. You blinked slowly, gasping as he released your wrists from the restraints. You collapsed, but he caught you easily, ready for it.
You were shaking in his arms as he carried you to your bedroom, gently laying you down on the bed, easing you to rest on your stomach. He kissed down your spine, laying his hand on your side. You turned your face into the pillow, ashamed of your behavior, and him seeing you so vulnerable.
“Draga, it’s alright,” his voice soothed your insecurities, and you relaxed as he tenderly massaged cream into your burning skin.
You sniffed softly, wincing as he gently pulled some silk shorts up over your bum. He buttoned the matching top around you, earning your thanks. You twisted to look at him, pulling him to lay down in front of you, still fully dressed in his suit.
“I’m sorry,” you whispered, and he pulled you into his chest, letting you snuggle against him.
“I know, my love. It’s perfectly okay. All is forgiven,” he promised, kissing your head.
You wrapped your arms around his neck, hugging him tightly for as long as he let you. He kissed the protests off of your lips when he stood up, promising he was just changing and then coming back.
You laid in the white sheets, waiting for your lover to return. He slid into bed next to you, watching the way your eyes lit up at his arrival. He pressed a kiss against your mouth, smiling as you curled up to rest under his arm.
“My darling.”
.
“Zemo?” you called, walking with a slight limp into the kitchen.
“I’m here. You didn’t need to be up so early,” he said, looking out the window before kissing your cheek.
“I wanted to see you,” you answered, happy you’d caught him before a day of meetings.
“See me? Why wouldn’t you?”
“Work...” you answered, looking up at him as if he’d forgotten.
“I’m off today. What would you like to do?” he asked, turning around and placing a plate of pancakes in your hands.
You gazed up at him, his smile reaching his dark eyes. He’d felt guilty with how much time he’d spent working. He knew that was the real reason for you acting out, and all he wanted was to make up for it and spend some extra time with you.
“Would it be wasteful to watch films? And eat these?” You asked.
“That would be perfect,” he helped you onto the couch, making sure you were able to sit comfortably.
You giggled as he forked a piece of pancake into your mouth, kissing the syrup off of your lips. You ate and watched the movie, gasping at the scary parts and laughing as Zemo covered your eyes.
“I love you, you know?”
