I love Devil May Cry because you start out with Dante and you're like "wow this guy's an idiot. surely his brother isn't nearly as dumb as him" and then it turns out that Vergil is infinitely more stupid

Danny makes jokes out of anyone finding out ghosts are real.
But only when it’s done through “accidental summonings”. In all fairness, if he hadn’t become a ghost at 14, he probably would have fuc-messed around with a ouija board too. So he can’t really blame them when the poor unfortunate souls happen to guess the correct phrase.
(And before you ask, it’s the ghostbusters theme song because of course it is.)
Instead of giving his victims summoners a heart attack, he decides to go for a more… Matrix approach. Incorporate a little humor into an otherwise terrifying experience.
Rather than a red pill and a blue pill though, he gives out a bright green glowing pill and piece of candy. He definitely gets annoyed more people don’t go for the candy. Just because it’s clearly the wrong answer doesn’t mean you should miss the opportunity for a delicious snack!

Big fan of the fact that the last thing kudou does inside of Izukus headspace is bait him into action/his plan with that Kacchan analogy and smirking about it
And also him and Yoichi flirting before they part ways.

back on the subject of werehog related takes ive seen around that i disagree with. i dont particular like it when people have shadow somehow meet werehog sonic and then be a judgemental asshole about it . because like yeah sonic and shadow arent exactly best friends but they still respect eachother to some degree and considering shadow is an alien hybrid who was created in a lab shouldnt he have personal experience with the whole "being different in a way that others might consider weird and/or monstrous" thing . shadow giving sonic shit for the werehog stuff just doesnt really make sense to me

Genuinely baffling to me that in all of the discussions I've seen about Anakin and Ahsoka's first meeting and what his line about her being "a little young to be a padawan" and her reaction means for the worldbuilding that no one seems to have considered the possibility that he was just. Being kind of a dick.
He does not want her there. She is small and he finds her annoying and he didn't ask for a padawan anyway. And like. Sometimes people just look at children smaller than them who are being annoying and go "what are you ten?" to a teenager.
And Anakin became a padawan at nine so his perspective is definitely skewed because when he was a padawan all of the other padawans were bigger and older than him. Now, he's twenty and she looks tiny and his response is "no way was I that little she must be younger than I was" and to needle her about it.

Of course the crows would continue having a blast making fun of rich high society Kerch stuff post-canon, but considering that Wylan has zero idea of what normal looks like, having only ever been either in a super rich but super detrimental household or homeless, everything would be a fun little game of "Is This a 'Rich People' Thing or Is This a 'Jan van Eck is Fucking Insane' Thing?"
Like the crows would be just teasing about galas and bed warmers but when Wylan tries to roll with it he accidentally ends up whipping out the most deranged occurrences imaginable which were not, in fact, the ✨Silly Rich Person Tingz✨ he thought they were.

actually one of my favorite things in TXF season 1 is that Scully, who grew up with three siblings, teases and pokes fun at Mulder very easily right off the bat (probably less than a month into their partnership she's leaning into his space and calling him a sucker for buying overpriced UFO photos) and he consistently visibly can't even comprehend it. because she can be a little pointed about it ("well maybe if you cleaned your desk" while he's looking for a file) but never derogatory, she's always just teasing in good faith with a good heart behind it because they're friends, and she likes him, and he's a dork and honestly so is she! and he's never really had someone be nice to him like that, he's so used to jokes being at his expense and too sharp and with veiled disdain behind them that it's almost normal. so when Scully messes with him, says things like "must be an x-file" in response to his confusion, he visibly stalls. and it's consistent, whenever she teases him or makes jokes like that, he freezes for a second and gets this look like he's struggling to process it, like he's trying to find the sharp undertones that aren't there with her, and he can't quite undertand that she's being genuine. but when he does get it after a few seconds, his face absolutely lights up and he basically can't stop smiling. "tell me I'm crazy," he says, rhetorically, and when she does he's taken aback by the friendliness of it and all he can do is grin at her
