When Gojo Satoru tells him that he will be his assigned partner for the upcoming school trip to Kyoto, he doesn’t blame it on the fact that this man has been a pain in his neck for the last three years, and has subsequently always brought bitter-flavored omiyage from his trips to share with the rest of the faculty, knowing full-well that Gojo won’t eat anything without a 120% sugar content. It’s just unfortunate, and a headache, and an ungodly inconvenience that will surely test his restraints.

Is this my most read/liked/kudos/bookmarked fic. Yes. Is it silly meta about twitter and fandom? Yes. Do I still love it anyways? Yes. You might not know this about me but I'm a sucker for good meta, especially about fandom, especially when it was crack inspired by a musical. Fun fact: I originally intended to write this fic for the Merlin fandom over a decade ago, but never worked up the courage to write fic then.

This probably borders on purple prose for some people but idc, it has a piece of my soul in it. It's a love letter to sakuatsu, atsumu, and loving someone through the old and the new. (Also I really tried to balance the prose so I think it's pretty banger anyways)

If I told you how many dog-centric fics I have written or still plan to write, well, let's not get into it. I love dogs. I love dogs as a device for getting together in weird, wonderful, fluffy ways, hairballs and all. This one is not based on any media that I know of (original to me—a fair number of my fics are inspired by other things or references to something) so I'm particularly fond of it.

TWO BOYS ON A SHIP (to say nothing of the cat) (dgs/tgaa, asoryuu, fix-it fic, sort of)

Besides the absolute banger title (that, yes, is based on a real book title), this fic is near and dear to me because I had a blast writing it and it was a rare time when pieces of the plot fell into place neatly as I wrote it. Anyways, it's my favorite characterization of Ryuunosuke and Kazuma's relationship, and answers a lot of questions for me that I didn't know I had until I was writing them. I still intend to write the continuation, but that's an entire dgs rewrite, so it's low on the docket for now.

no and i'm pretty sure i don't want any either. i won't allow anything hairy into my flat, and anything else that requires a terrarium or the sorts still needs care and time (and cleaning) and i don't have the time for that. or patience for that matter

used to do swimming. as in competition. and then i got my first period early and my mum and trainer did not see eye to eye abt that so i didn't go far with it before i gave up on it. no official courses after that. i wanted to do field hockey but a lot of my school bullies were doing that already, so that was a no. considered badminton to learn officially bc i loved to play it leisurely but never did, and that was that tbh...

wait, does dance count? i did hip hop actually when i was 10-ish but i was terrible at it (and still am - zero feeling for rhythm, i can't even jump up and down in synic wth everyone else at metal concerts), so that didn't last long...

It was as Nanami was wringing out the towel so he could pat himself down dry that he finally said, “I wanted to know if you changed your mind.”

“Coming with me.”

His eyes, sunken the same way they had been when he first quit his corporate job, were aimed straight at the wood floor. A cigarette, died down to about a half of its original size, was stuck in between his lips, flecks of ash falling like snow.

If Nanami noticed him standing here, he didn’t acknowledge it.

It left Satoru feeling slightly petty. And also rather conflicted.

Because just as Nanami Kento had been the specter reaping the lives of all the higher-ups at Jujutsu Tech, Satoru’s presence was one equivalent to a death sentence for all curse users.

The job didn’t change either, no matter Satoru’s own burning—and unfortunately, damning—association.

yes. it’s weird though because i don’t know the actress’s actual name. she was a chinese actress that my mom liked at the time, and when she heard her english name, she liked it so much that she gave me the same name.

When was the last time you cried?

i’ve been watching a lot of dr. mike on youtube recently, and he did a video on the k-drama hospital playlist, which i re-watched yesterday. the scene that made me cry (yet again) was the one where they’re doing chest compressions on a little girl and the mom of the girl sobs, “please, just (stay with me) a little longer.”

weirdly, i’ve started using sarcasm less now than i used to. not sure why. i should get back into it

i’m really good at diving for receives in volleyball. i’m also quick at getting to feints in tennis, even though i am the slowest person you will ever meet

i did volleyball for many years until band kind of took over my life. i did basketball in elementary. played a bit of tennis with my older brother in summertime. i was in the ping-pong and badminton clubs in high school. does marching band count? most people don’t think it’s intensive enough to be considered a sport, but have you ever marched at 180 bpm in 90+ degree weather down a 4-lane wide main street?

music theory, band, western music history, history. as you might be able to tell, i was a music nerd. not so much anymore
