“Please don’t die on me!”
Tw: suicide. Reader death.
He shouted at your body. You’d given your all on the field. Using your quirk to defeat shigaraki had its drawbacks, one of them being your life. But you’d known this outcome from the very beginning. You’d known you were going to die before you even stepped onto the battlefield. You’d told few of your plan but the one person you couldn’t tell was your boyfriend. How are you to tell the love of your life that your blood shed would end in your death? You couldn’t. Your last words were now engrained into his brain.
“Thank you for allowing me to be the best hero I could be”
your shaky voice rung on the intercom. He didn’t think much of it until he saw your figure shoot into the sky your quirk blowing out of your body and your flesh scattering across the sky your blood dripping like rain. It was a sight he never imagined he’d be seeing. How could he? You were supposed to go out after this. Take off and live your lives as pro heroes together. But he saw that image crumble in front of him.
Here he was sobbing with you in his arms, limp and cold. He was yelling curses and begs but he knew you were gone. And he knew he couldn’t live without you.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
The whole class had been shaken about your death no one could not think about you. Your dorm stayed the way it was. The last bowl you ate out of stayed in the sink. Your laundry was still soaking in the washing machine. No one could even think about touching what once was yours. All your lasts. It was heart breaking. But what was most heart breaking was seeing your boyfriend break in front of them. He took it the hardest. He didn’t eat drink shower he just layed on the floor of your room crying and holding a photo of the two of you at Christmas.
He couldn’t take this anymore he was pathetic. Pathetic without you atleast. How is he supposed to live with you? He couldn’t. So he didn’t.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
He got up for the first time in a week. He went to one of your favorite places. The planetarium.
They should really start adding security to tall buildings.
He trudged up the steps your photo in hand. Silent tears still falling from his face. He unzipped his jacket and took off his shoes stepping onto the edge.
The last thought he had was of you. His last words were to you.
“See you soon.”
Anyone.

mirio's s/o getting kidnapped
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: mirio togata x gn!reader
tags: angst with an open end, established relationship, angry!mirio
Tumblr media
mirio always has a smile on his lips, leading to others, especially villains, often underestimating him
but he's not all smiles and sunshine. no, mirio can get quite serious as well, if it's something he truly cares about – like you!
his usual bright smile drops as he learns about your kidnapping and is replaced with a rather grim and uncharacteristic look on his face
any smile on his face would only be forced as long as you were gone. he knew he'd only be able to genuinely smile at you again once he found you
and mirio was determined he would find you and return you home unharmed!
he had to believe that you were still alright and that your kidnappers hadn't hurt you yet
but if they did dare touch you, he'd make them regret it…

Lets assume overhaul had a son who is the same age as the class with his or a similar quirk. we can assume he wasn't the best father. but picture how awkward Izuku and Mirio might acts around him if he gets thrust in the class. Bonus points if he Izuku says sorry about beating overhaul and his reaction is just ehh I wanted to do it myself.
A Little Too Alike
Izuku Midoriya x Overhaul’s Son Male!Reader [PLATONIC?] Summary: After Overhaul was arrested, his son was taken in by U.A along with Eri. When Mirio and Izuku found out, let’s just say it was very awkward…
★☽A/N: I seriously had no idea what to do with the insert character so I just wrote BNHA… Anyways, I have no idea whether my writing has gotten better or worse! Please tell me… I don’t know at all 😭

As everyone from the yakuza group was getting taken away, arrested, one of them looked awfully similar to Overhaul. Midoriya, shocked, walked towards him and turned him around, only to see gold colored eyes, similar to of Overhaul’s.
“Woah, Midoriya!” A hero ran up to them, stopping Midoriya from doing anything else. “Who is he? Why does he-” The hero shushed him, trying to get the young hero in training to calm down. “We’ll explain everything once everything settles down.” Midoriya watched as the striking double of Overhaul walked away with the other yakuza members.
After that, the weeks that went by were dreadful. He couldn’t stop crying for days after Sir Nighteye’s death. He tried to smile at his funeral, but he knew he couldn’t keep up a smile like Mirio, just like how the hero wanted. Even though his friends tried to comfort him, he still didn’t feel much the same.
It got worse when someone was introduced to his class.
It was the carbon-copy of Overhaul, the same male he saw last time. His blood boiled at the sight, but remained as calm as he could. As Mr. Aizawa introduced the young male to the class, the students that joined the raid were surprised by the last name.
“Y/N Chisaki.”
He had the same last name as Overhaul, also known as Kai Chisaki. A few of them started to get defensive of him. “He will be joining us from now on.”
“Mr. Aizawa. I mean no offense but why is he joining us? Kero.” Tsuyu asked, a bit curious. “Some of you may know this from the news or actually being there. A villain named Overhaul was arrested and this is his son.” Students who didn’t know were surprised to hear this.
A villain’s child was joining them?
“Are you sure, sir?” Kaminari asked. Mr. Aizawa nodded and told Y/N to sit in the back beside Todoroki. He nodded obediently and walked towards the empty seat, nodding as a sign of acknowledgement towards Todoroki who did the same.
  ‿̩͙‿ ༺ ♰ ༻ ‿̩͙‿
A few weeks went by and the class had started to trust the young male. Even though students who were on the mission, Kirishima, Uraraka, and Asui felt awkward around him, they managed to trust the male enough to talk to him normally and have a fun time.
When Mirio found out, he was actually cheerful about it. He said, “I think it’s a great opportunity! He could go down a different path from his father! A bright future!” with a smile on his face.
Midoriya sighed at Mirio’s statement. Everyone was moving on from this but Midoriya wasn’t!! He didn’t know why he couldn’t move on, he just couldn;t! Every time he saw Y/N, he felt a sense of rage.
Perhaps he was seeing Overhaul in Y/N. The striking resemblance was uncanny. His brown hair, his gold eyes, everything about him screams Overhaul. But he knew he had to make this right. If he wanted to continue to train to be a hero, he needed to move on from the past.
“Hey… uh… Y/N?” Y/N turned around, gold eyes sending shivers down Midoriya’s spine. He sighed shakingly. He bowed down as he hurriedly said “Uhm… Sorry about beating your dad!!” with a loud voice.
No response.
He lifted his head up, finding a confused face.
“Huh..?” Y/N tilted his head in confusion. “Uhm… it’s okay..” he muttered softly.
Let’s just say… He was embarrassed.. Like- to the point the poor boy was blushing hard in embarrassment.

˚ · . mirio x afab!reader
: ̗̀➛ love at first sight to unrequited love to mutual pining, mentions of character death, a lil angst, reader is a cunty brat, smut, this is more fluff and angst than smut, choking, overstimulation, riding, unprotected sex, cervix, fucking, creampie, multiple orgasms, belly bulge, implied breeding, implied size kink, reader is sir nighteye's daughter, this is all over the place
you walk in, and my heart beats different.
Tumblr media
admiring you from afar, mirio had only thought the only way he could really be with you was caring of you in place of your father, sir nighteye.
the moment he had met you, he already knew you would be an important figure within his lifetime. he was practically in awe when sir nighteye had introduced you to him as his only daughter. whilst you were less than cold and almost unreciprocated his warm introductions and questions about you, he was persistent, shaking your hand with a stern yet gentle grip.
personality wise, you had taken after your father, for you had inherited your father's stoicism, almost wary of all. yet, you were rebellious, almost bratty. your father ended up admitting he had spoiled you a little too much, resulting from you being his only precious child.
it came to mirio quickly that you were a stark contrast compared to his more bright and optimistic outlook. nevertheless, later the night of the first time he had met you, he could not help but let out an awkward chuckle at the fact that he just might've fallen in love with you at first sight. he doesn't know whether it was your witty attitude, or if it was your soft and easy-on-the-eyes features, or maybe even just because you were his teacher's daughter.
all he knew, was that from the moment he met you, he had a hard and almost unquenchable longing for you.
whilst the the situation was more than unplanned and undesired, he couldn't decline when your dying father had asked him to take care of you in place of his soon to-be permanent absence. the moment those words please take care of my daughter had left his weak teacher's trembling mouth, he had to agree. he agreed and swore with his entire life, that he would take care of you until the end of time.
he understood when you had at first pushed him away, not taking it to heart when you condemned him to hell. you had just lost your father, you just wanted to be alone. you didn't want what you thought was mirio's pity or sad condolences. you just wanted your father back.
however, he did not see it as appropriate for you to be alone during such a dark time. while feeling almost empty at the loss of his own teacher, he knew what you were feeling was much more than the loss of a teacher. it was a horrible time, but he didn't recommend trying to stride it out by yourself. from what information sir nighteye had told him about you, your father was your only family.
so, he tried again. and again. and again. he tried many times to win over you over, either with promises of getting you a bite to eat or just simple questions about you, he didn't allow himself to feel defeat when you almost always cussed him out each attempt.
the day you had finally let your walls down was a little unexpected. he remembered walking throughout the U.A dorms at night, simply because he wanted to take a late night stroll to relieve some stress. he was surprised to see you on the couch of the shared public living room.
while you did not notice him, he thought you had fallen asleep on the couch as you were limp against the soft cushions, face hidden and leaned against the crevice of your elbow. he was about five feet away from you when he realized you were actually awake. awake, and crying, soft whimpers and sobs escaping despite being muffled by your elbow.
with a soft call of your name, you had shot your head up, face morphing into an expression of distaste when you had, once again, set your eyes upon a helpless mirio. before you could cuss him out once more, he had shushed you, taking place on the couch next to you.
you were about to storm off before mirio finally confessed his intentions. your father had asked me to take care of you. regardless, i'm here for you, and if you want to cuss at me or whatever, then go ahead, i'll be right here the entire time for you, and i'll be here the next time as well.
silence followed afterwards, the next few minutes you didn't even seemingly breathe. mirio so much as let out a relieved sigh when you started to cry even harder, body flopping sideways like a cat into his lap. while you mumbled out obscenities at him, hands coming up to lay weak punches against his thigh, you giving into his support was no doubt one of the best relieving things in the world.
following that, you seemed to have finally accepted his place within your life. at first, you were still begrudgingly giving him a forced smile, engaging in short conversations with him before you just ignored him after a few words. after a while, you began to give genuine smiles at him, eyes crinkling up into pretty crescents when he was able to make you laugh. he didn't know how addicting your sweet laugh was.
he had confessed his feelings for you the morning of a particularly dangerous battle you were assigned to. he was almost crying, feeling almost helpless and scared, unable to help because his stupid quirk was taken away. he babbled out little "i love you"s, and recounts of how he's supposed to be taking care of you. although he knew that your duty as a hero was important to you, he still wanted to declare his love for you before anything could happen, hoping maybe you'd stay behind for him.
but you didn't. it felt as if you confessing your love back was saying goodbye. why would you say goodbye if you planned on returning back to him?
the two days following your departure, he watched the news intently, almost no sign of sleep within him. he pestered his teachers for updates on the situation, clawing at his hair whenever a devastating explosion followed the battle-site. he could only pray when he saw little saw the familiar dark green illumination of your quirk, praying you'd return safe and healthy.
he remembers the high dopamine hit you gave him when he first saw you after your return. your hero costume was tattered, hair and body distressed with little debris and minor wounds, you looked as if you were ran over by a semi-truck. yet, he still considered you the most beautiful thing he's ever seen, running up to you and embracing you with a strong hug.
he was on cloud nine when you kissed him.
the next few months were absolute bliss. he never knew how happy someone could make him by just laughing. he spent his time playing around with you, annoying you for fun, holding your hand, or just simply lazying around in your dorm room.
he felt so lucky to be able to score someone as amazing and beautiful as you. you were so charming and witty, yet still a spoiled brat. he didn't mind giving into your little whines of "i want this," or "can we/or you get [ ]..," absolutely enjoying the satisfaction of you opening his gifts with haste and excitement, even if it came at the expense of an empty bank account.
not even batting an eye at your more tedious "flaws", not taking it to heart when you would, almost like a child, cry out or get angry when something didn't go your way. a chagrin on his face when he once again, despite being very sleepy himself, had to carry you up two floors to your dorm room after you had fallen asleep in the most random place ever.
rest assured, he'd do anything to keep you happy. even if he had to do the weirdest of things to do so.
ೄྀ࿐ ˊˎ-
the obnoxious creaks of the bed springs echoed throughout the walls of your dorm room, accompanied by the soft pants, pleasurable moans and the lewd fapping of skin-on skin as you rode mirio for the nth time that night.
you whined out as you rode out your nth orgasm of the night, hips unfaltering with skill. you showed no signs of stopping, tight pussy walls clenching around mirio's thick cock. you were so blissed out in pleasure, focusing on relieving the angry stress that had you so mad earlier that you ended up just flopping onto the floor like a cat with defeat.
you were using mirio as if he was a high quality dildo, certainly too focused on yourself to care about the way his hands gripped at your hips with overstimulated pleasure and pain. "hah.. you feel so good.." you mewl out, hand coming down to rub at your clit.
a rough calloused hand travels up your warm belly, mirio lets out a choked breath as his hand continues upwards towards your perky breast, groping it as if it were dough within his hands. his cock twitches at the sight of you riding him like theres no tomorrow. he'd never thought a guy so simple looking would be chosen by a girl of the likes of you.
you're everything but normal, rather he considers you exotic in a way that has him fucking his hand at night. maybe it's the way your plump lips pout as you whine his name, leftover gloss giving an irresistible look to them. it could be the way your long pink acrylic nails scratch new cuts onto his forearm. his other hand moves up from your thigh to caress and worship your body, fingers making sure to not touch the pink glittery jewel of your pierced navel.
maybe that's what has him so addicted to you, so interested in your everyday moves, because you're so different to him it's fascinating.
you're practically fucking him like a bunny in heat, riding him so hard he can audibly hear the lewd impacts of his cock's tip hit your cervix. he's wondered how nobody has woken up to the sounds of your creamy cunt gushing or your loud moans. with the way the headboard slams into the wall, he's sure someone is bound to wake up eventually.
crap, that has his hands traveling back down to your ass, kneading the flesh with his hands while pulling your baby pink thong to the side so that way his cock can enter your cunt without your panties getting in the way. "you're riding me s-so good baby.. fuck. you want me to cum in this pussy again? fill you up nicely?" he gasps out, cursing out when you clench tightly around him again.
he's already came so many times tonight, his thighs are twitching and sore with overstimulation. but he can't bring himself to push you off and decline you. how could he say no to his precious girl? he promised to take care of you in any way after all.
ignoring the almost painful jolt that washes throughout his body, he brings himself to yet another orgasm. his thick seed fulls you up so deliciously for the nth time tonight. you feel so full, the soft of your belly bulging with his cum. your eyes flutter shut, lowly moaning, pussy milking him as another orgasm washes over you just with that.
but it's still not enough. not enough for a greedy girl like you. mirio gives a weak smile when you lean down to connect your lips with his, lazily intertwining your tongue with his. softly moaning into the kiss, his hands stay on your ass, softly massaging the flesh. your lips fit perfectly against his, like two puzzle pieces meant to be together.
your eyebrows furrow as you angle your head at an ungodly angle, almost digging your tongue down his throat. you silently groan at the lewd sounds of fucking face, thick saliva dripping down from mirio's chin.
you only pull away once the itch in your core once again tickles you uncomfortably. you look down at mirio with those puppy eyes of yours, though the heart eyes and darkness of them shows your true intent. "togata.." you mewl out, pedicured hand coming down to caress soothing touches against his hard sore abs as to win him over. "i want more.."
though, you already know his answer, only giving a sly smile when he tries his best to smile through the overstimulation, lightly tapping your thigh to urge you on. he can only try to focus on the pleasure and ignore the pain as you slowly begin to ride him once more.
how could he say no to you? he promised to take care of you after all.

Monoma x reader who is Mirio’s younger sibling part 7
Hey ya’ll uh, warning: ✨angst ✨
Other Parts:
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6
Part 7/?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Neito knew something was wrong when you didn’t text him back on the last day of your Hero Work Study. He reasoned it out. Unlike the internships, you are seen like a real sidekick rather than a guest. Maybe the work tired you out and you fell asleep before you could respond. It wouldn’t be farfetched. His classmates that did get an opportunity to do Hero Work Study became visibly fatigued in class. Even Kendo, who is one of the most resilient people he knew.
Still, his unseen messages plagued his mind. The dread festered within him even as he woke up the next day, when you said you’d be back from absence. He checks his messages, and, still no reply. Normally he would have waited until just before class starts to pester 1-A, but this time he heads straight to their dorm building. He gets there in time to find Iida herding out three classmates, who look as though they’d might as well fall asleep standing. He clears his throat. “You lot sure look awfully stressed despite not being in a Work Study.” Despite the sneer on his face, he finds that he’s unable to sound as theatric as he usually does.
The three students, Mina, Kaminari, and Sero collectively groan. Each one of them too preoccupied by their all nighter-induced headaches to formulate a proper response. Iida chops his hands at Neito. “Monoma-san, don’t you think appearing in front of our dormitory as soon as we wake up is taking this rivalry a bit far!?”
He ignores Iida’s words, glancing around as more students shuffle out of the building. He doesn’t see you. In fact, neither does he see most of the other 1-A students who have Work Study. “Are you listening—” Neito walks past Iida and the other three as soon as he spots Tokoyami. “You’re one of the students in 1-A who has Hero Study, aren’t you?”
Tokoyami blinks. It takes a moment to realize that he’s actually asking him, rather than it being a taunt. “…yes, that’s right.”
Neito disregards the cautious edge in his voice, continuing. “Has there been trouble with the 1-A students in Hero Study?”
“Not… that I’ve heard of,” he responds, uncertainly. “It’s a little odd that you would as that.”
“Your classmates were supposed to only be gone for a day. Isn’t it strange that all of them aren’t here again today? I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve gotten into trouble again.” Tokoyami narrows his eyes, but before he can respond, Bakugo walks right between them.
“Put a lid on it, extra. They’re fine. Now get outta my sight.”
Neito lets out a “tsk” as they all left for class.
***
“Eraserhead-sensei isn’t here?” Neito stands in front of the staff’s dorms. He had gone to the third year’s dorms first to ask Mirio about you, but he isn’t there either. Now, he’s here with Vlad, finding out that your teacher is absent as well.
“He’s out on duties. Class A had Midnight as their substitute teacher earlier.” “Does… does it have something to do with why (y/n) and Togata-senpai aren’t here?”
Vlad shakes his head. “The affairs of their Hero Study are separate from UA. I wasn’t given any details about it.”
Neito lowers his head. His mouth presses into a thin line as his brows creases. He looks up when Vlad places his hand on his shoulder.
“I know you’re worried about them. That comes with the territory of working with heroes. I’m sure they’re alright.”
“Yeah…” he nods. The weight in his chest is still unbearable, but just a little is alleviated. His phone buzzes in his pockets, followed by his ringtone. “Ah, I’ll take this phone call, sensei. Thank you for meeting with me.” He waves and checks the caller ID as he walks from the staff’s dorm. His screen displays a blurry photo of Mirio that you had taken. He immediately answers. “Hello? Nii-san, are you okay? What about (y/n)? Neither of you are at school. Did something happen during the Hero Study—”
“Woah woah! Slow down.” Hearing Mirio’s voice full of cheer, he allows himself to relax his tense shoulders. “(Y/n) and I are… er, fine. I can’t really get into much detail about our Hero Study.”
“So something happened.”
Mirio lets out a humorless chuckle. “Well… say, why don’t you visit us at the hospital?”
***
It did not help Neito’s heart hearing that you’ve been admitted into a hospital despite Mirio’s assurances that you aren’t critically injured or anything. Although his request to leave campus was abrupt, Vlad had no problems accompanying him to the hospital. He stays in the lobby while Neito rushes up to where receptionist directed him to.
“(Y/n)!” he nearly trips on his own feet entering your room. You smile at him, the bandage on your cheek creasing. Neito stops abruptly at the side of your bed, his hand hesitantly reaching for you until it settles on your hand with the least bandages. His movement is cautious as to not hurt you. “It’s not as bad as it looks.”
Neito clicks his tongue. “I swear! Seriously, I’m alright. Look at my radiant smile, see?” You force out a toothy grin, making him sigh.
“Honestly, you…” slowly, he leans in, his forehead against your shoulder. “Why didn’t you answer any of my texts or calls? When you didn’t come to school after you said you’d be back, I thought the worst.”
“Yeah, ehe… I broke my phone so I couldn’t contact you soon. I’m sorry.”
“No no, you shouldn’t be apologizing,” he sighs. “…I’m glad you’re safe.”
You hum, rubbing his head with your free hand. It does sting to move it, but you maintain your smile until he reluctantly parts with you.
“You sure you don’t want anything? I can get you something before I leave.” Of course, not without doting on you. “I’m fine, Neito,” you shake your head. “The nurses are a button away. Plus I don’t really need anything else.”
“What about your clothes and something to pass the time? Your phone broke, right?”
“My parents already brought all I need— and Recovery Girl will be seeing me as soon as my stamina is back. I won’t be here for that long.”
“Okay…” You wave at him before he can even consider anything else, which he returns with a worried smile, leaving the room at last.
“I should still get (y/n) something,” Neito mutters to himself as he walks down the hallway. He glances at the clock on the wall. “I still have time, so… yeah, I should visit onii-san.” The receptionist had told him both Togata’s room numbers, so it was easy finding where Mirio is. Somehow, he isn’t surprised to see Mirio doing crunches despite being hospitalized. “You’re as lively as ever.”
“Oh!” he looks up. “Monoma, hey. Thought you’d never visit me.” Mirio sits up properly.
“As brutal as you are with training, I wouldn’t just ignore you when you’re in the hospital,” Neito rubs the back of his head. “So… how long will you be staying in the hospital? (Y/n) said Recovery Girl will be seeing them soon but what about you?”
“Oh, I’ll be out of the hospital in three days.”
“I see… right before out day off… well, at least you wouldn’t be going to school immediately….” he trails off.
Mirio’s expression remains nearly the same, but Neito has been around him enough to decipher when he’s thinking about something. “Is there… something wrong?”
“About that…” Mirio’s brows creases. “Actually, I’m taking some time off from class. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to continue our quirk training cause you see…” He scratches his head as he takes a moment to continue. “I lost my quirk.”
“Huh?” Neito doesn’t even hear whatever Mirio saying next. What did he mean he lost his quirk? Or— no— it must be something else. That would be terrible. Impossible. An quirk can’t just… be lost. At least, not a quirk like Mirio’s where it isn’t dependent on a specific body part. “Monoma?”
He snaps out of his daze. He stares, wide eyed. “Yeah?” “Are you okay?”
“Yeah, uh…” He laughs. Tense and humourless. His eyes turns to the floor. “I just don’t know what you mean by that.”
“I mean that I can’t use my quirk anymore.” Neito raises his gaze. Mirio doesn’t have the overly positive smile on his face anymore. It’s replaced by a seriousness that extinguishes any chance of a joke. Mirio continues on carefully, and he wonders why he looks so concerned. “I don’t know how much details I can give you since things are pretty classified, so I won’t try to explain. Sorry about that. I’d like to see if you’re still able copy my quirk so we can still continue our training.”
Neito stares at his outstretched hand for a second. He doesn’t feel himself move his, but he finds himself holding it anyway. It’s clear now. “It’s… really gone…”
Mirio smiles bitterly, “Ah, so you can’t. I guess it’s literally out of my DNA. Too bad, I would’ve liked to continue training you.” “Why…”
“Woah! Hey, it’s okay, I’m still a hero,” Mirio hastily places his hand on Neito’s shoulder. “No need to feel bad for me.”
He doesn’t get why Mirio’s nearly panicked to comfort him until his vision blurs. The tears pool in Neito’s eyes. No no no, why is he the one crying? Mirio’s the one that lost his quirk. He shuts his eyes as the tears keep flowing and rubs them as if he can make them disappear. “But why? Y-You worked so hard to make your quirk worthy of fighting frontlines and someone— something… just takes it away!?”
Was he smiling and so cheerfully exercising so he wouldn’t worry? “Wh— What’ll happen to your hero career? You’ll… You’ll still be a hero, won’t you!?”
“Yes, yes, of course I’ll be. Monoma calm down for a second…”
“How can I be calm when— when everything you worked so hard for just… just…”
“Monoma, deep breaths,” Mirio places his other hand on his other shoulder. Neito stops himself from speaking. He takes a long breath, slowly exhaling. Once he’s done, he silently looks at Mirio who had patiently waited for him to calm down.
“I know it’s a lot to hear considering you didn’t even know someone can lose their quirk until just now,” he watches his expression. “I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t bother me… but, there’s nothing I can do about it, can I?”
Neito’s eyes ask if that’s really the case, but he doesn’t bring himself to ask, fearing what he knows the answer will be.
“I understand why you’re agitated by this. But I won’t let everything I’ve done until now be in vain. I promise you.” Mirio withdraws one of his hands, placing a fist over his heart. “I’m still Lemllion. My goal has not changed.”
Neito’s breath hitches. “Right…” He hates that he’s the one being comforted. That he didn’t notice anything wrong with Mirio’s smile. Smiles… “Does (y/n) know?”
“Yeah…”
Your expression when he met up with you earlier— how did he not notice anything? He should’ve known there was more to it than trying to look strong while injured. Mirio’s grip on his shoulder tightens. “(Y/n)’s trying their best to smile like how I am, but… take care of them, okay?”
Neito nods. He doesn’t need to be told twice, wordlessly leaving the room after a silent agreement. He returns to your hospital room, finding you under the covers. “(Y/n).”
“Neito? I thought you left already,” you pull the sheets of your form, sitting up now that he’s once again at your bedside. This time, he wraps his arms around you, pulling his head to his chest. “Neito..?”
His thumbs rubs soothing circles at the back of your head. He doesn’t say anything, but it’s clear to you what brought this change of demeanor. “He told you.”
“As much as he could, anyway.”
“Did he tell you that I saw it happen? That I was a second too late?”
“No. That’s probably the last thing in his mind.”
“…”
You try to listen to his heartbeat. No avail. It’s probably too faint to hear above your own while it rings in your ears. It grows louder. The breaking of the walls, then the gunshot, and seeing your brother’s blood splatter as he shielded the little girl you had failed to save once. “Do you blame yourself?”
You’re back in the hospital. Your boyfriends arms feel warmer around you now that you’ve found his heartbeat.
You think back to Eri’s expression when Mirio was shot. Horror. Guilt. “No. I… not anymore.” It isn’t her fault. Neither is it yours. That’s what you’ll tell her if it is ever brought up. Before then, you take a deep breath. The festering guilt expels from your chest along with your breath. “Good,” Neito says. Your shoulders loosen as you bring your arms up to him. “Were you able to do it?”
“Yeah.” He doesn’t have a single clue as to what it is, but he lets out a proud hum. “Then you don’t have to be a hero right now.”
Neito’s voice nearly lulls you to sleep. Or maybe it is the relief flooding your veins as warm tears trickle down your cheeks. Eventually, you did end up sleeping. A rest a lot more peaceful than the first time around.
Teardrops on my Guitar
Mirio Togata x Reader
CW; Angst, unrequited love, Mirio is an oblivious man, reader is in love with Mirio, based off of Taylor Swift’s “teardrops on my guitar” obviously, let me know if I missed anything!!
Synopsis; You’re in love with your best friend, Mirio Togata, who everyone wants, but you have. Or had. When he starts talking about another girl and how much he likes her to you, what are you meant to do besides sit aside and let him become happy.
Tumblr media
Mirio Togata was the boy that boys and girls alike wanted. His beautiful crystal blue eyes, blonde hair, and best of all, his sweet sweet smile made him the picture image of the “perfect boy.” You were just like everyone else, pining for the rather ditzy boy, but you had an advantage; You were one of Mirio’s best friends, someone he could come to with his problems and someone who got the privilege to hear about how he wasn’t looking for a relationship right now.
While that may seem discouraging, you were actually relieved. The feelings you bore for Togata couldn’t be expressed, at least not in a way you were comfortable with. I mean, you had a quirk that seemed rather useless in your eyes; a music based quirk. Compared to Mirio, you felt like the shadow of a leaf falling to the ground while the sun stood in its place and shined, not once wavering. You held no comparison to him; you had no wish to build your own agency from the ground up. You would much rather stay a pro’s sidekick like you were now with Ryukyu, but Mirio seemed far past that. It simply wouldn’t work, but you could hope.
Even though Mirio Togata was the sun to you; you were simply just Pluto in his universe. You were close enough to be in his orbit, but never would you be close enough to actually be a part of his life. You would be lucky to even be remembered by Mirio after highschool, let alone be what you actually wanted to be to him; a girlfriend.
You wanted Mirio more than all might had wished to catch All-For-One. You wanted to write songs about him, to wake up to that giddy boyish smile every morning, and just be a bigger part of his life, just be with him. That wouldn’t happen though, Mirio was obsessed with another girl; someone in class 3-B who you had never really seen before.
“We’re gonna get married Y/N! I just know it!”
“You haven’t talked to her yet, Mirio, what are you talking about?”
“We’re gonna get married!”
Mirio was too much, it was like he never realized your feelings even though everyone else had. And if he had; then that was a cruel game to play just because he could, but you knew him too well to know he would never do that to you. So you began keeping your feelings locked up, now encouraging Mirio to talk to the girl, to go up to her, to just…be himself. Yes, it hurt like hell, but you couldn’t stop Mirio’s feelings for her; so why not try and help him and try to get over him this way?
Eventually, a month later, Mirio and the girl are together and they are oh so happy. As excited you were for him, it also became noticeable that Mirio was distancing from you; slowly going farther away until you could no longer reach him. That was okay, you knew Mirio was happy, so why were you always crying throughout the hours of the night? Your body was something you didn't understand; it made you cry for what you thought was no reason. You were tired of crying; so you came up with a plan, distract yourself.
You began picking up your cluttered room, taking the clothes to the hamper, dusting away the cobwebs,and moving stuff out from under your bed. That was where you found a crumpled piece of paper; unfolding it only to see a song that you had been writing for Mirio, well not for him, but about him. About how he talked about this girl to you, how perfect he looked, how his smile could make you melt. You got up and grabbed your guitar, slowly starting to strum the chords while softly singing along. Of course you started to cry; even with all your attempts to distract yourself, you couldn’t help it.
Mirio Togata, the boy who everyone wanted but you had, was never meant to be yours. Life had other plans for you two, and they didn’t include each other. So you’d sit in your dorm, letting your mind wander to the boy who’s the reason for the teardrops on your guitar.
Yandere Mirio & Tamaki X Reader
this is my first yandere post so please give me a break
in this scenario, you have already been kidnapped and this is a description of what it's like. !mentions of abuse!
Tamaki is the more gentle of the two; keeping his distance when you first arrived, and when you slowly started getting adjusted to your new 'life' he was the gentle parent. He was patient with your yelling, taught you the rules, and even when to tread lightly around Mirio.
Mirio was a little stricter. He also kept his distance at first, bringing you meals everyday, attempting small talk every now and then. But when you got more comfortable, he took on the disciplinary role. He was still gentle, but sometimes when you got too loud or in his space, bad things happened.
Tamaki is the one that comforts you after the punishment, holding when you cry, sometimes even bandaging you or taking care of bruises. He reassures you that Mirio didn't mean it, often muttering something along the lines of, "You know not to push him, baby, he gets stressed out."
He was your emotional support...in a way.
Until...
You heard Tamaki yell at you only once. You had just attempted to run away. Mirio was carrying back to that horrid house on his shoulder. They brought you inside, and you could tell Mirio was about to go off, until Tamaki pushed him aside.
He started screaming at you, yelling how it was dangerous and how you could've gotten hurt, and what could have happened. Tears were rolling down his face, and at some point he had a death grip on your wrist, his hand close to crushing the bone.
You'd never heard him be aggressive towards you. Mirio you expected this behavior from, but from him? You were sobbing when he finally stopped, body shaking. He was terrifying, quirk activated and eyes staring into you.
After that, Tamaki left quickly. You were left alone in the room Mirio used for isolation, when you needed 'alone time' after a punishment.
Togata walked in and sat down with you. "Hey, he- he didn't mean to blow up like that, you know."
You stayed silent, holding your wrist. Mirio saw your hand. "Can i see it?"
He gently pulled your wrist towards him and examined the bruise. It was already a dark brown. "I know he was scary in there, but he would never hurt you on purpose. He loves you. We love you."
Tamaki walked in, shame written on his expression. "B-baby?"
As he took a step forward, you instinctively moved back into the corner, tears already forming. He hesitated.
"Maybe you should come back another time," Mirio said.
The purple haired boy walked out of the room, looking ready to cry.
After that day, the two boys learned a lesson. Mirio was a lot more gentle and permissive, discovering that you were aggressive simply because of the stress he put you under mentally. Amajiki learned his lesson to never raise his voice. Ever since the night you ran, he argued with Mirio once, and the minute you heard him raise his voice, you started crying. Both him and Mirio heard you from the living room and rushed to the bedroom to comfort you, assure you everything was okay.
Maybe your attempted escape did more good than bad.
Shelter in the Storm [Mirio] (Angst)
(One-Shot 5/? in a collection of My Hero Academia one-shots posted regularly on Saturdays and sometimes Sundays.)
Read on AO3.
Tags: Mirio x OC, Lemillion x OC, Mirio Togata, Suneater, Tamaki Amajiki, Tamaki is a Good and Precious Bean, Mirio is a Ray of Sunshine, Anxious OC, Not the Best Home Life, But What Are Ya Gonna Do?, I Gave Tamaki a Younger Sister, Because Why Not
Word Count: 2,881 words
Summary: Tamaki and Ichijiku have been friends since elementary school, so it’s become a habitual occurrence for her to seek shelter at his house when her parents get overwhelming. In the morning, Tamaki and Mirio both walk with her to school and attempt to brighten her spirits.
Author's Note: I've noticed you all seem to enjoy minor characters a lot, so I'll try and focus on adding more as I continue writing one-shots. It's certainly a fun challenge to get to know characters who don't get a lot of screen time! I hope you enjoy!
Ichijiku (Tigress)
Mirio, are you awake? I text my boyfriend despite knowing he’s asleep. Between the two of us, he goes to bed the earliest.
Still, for an hour and a half, I wait for a reply. When it’s obvious that I won’t be receiving a response, I stare at the ceiling as my brain tunes back into reality. The yelling down the hall amplifies and my heart races as I wait with baited breath for Mom to walk through the door. Please don’t yell at me. I don’t know what I did and if that’s why you and Dad fight but please stop screaming. When footsteps make their way down the hall, I place my phone down and hug my pillow with my eyes closed. Though internally I panic, I force myself to take deep and even breaths.
I hear the door squeak open and the heavy, angry breaths of my mother. Only the thumping in my chest is audible, and I dare not move until I hear the familiar click of my door. Even then, I pause for another two minutes until I’m sure she doesn’t stand in wait to catch me being disobedient.
When I open my eyes and she’s not there, I slip out of bed and crawl over to my window. I pull the blinds and look next door into Tamaki’s room. His dark blue eyes meet mine as he lays in his bed. I scrounge around behind my desk to find my notebook. I flip through a few of the pages until I land on the one I want, holding up the page to the glass: Can I come over?
I watch him rifle through his own notebook before holding up his response.
Yes.
I tuck my notebook away and look at my door for a minute or two. She might come back. My ears tune in to every sound as I grab my jacket and stuff a deck of cards in the pocket. There’s no footsteps down the hall and the muffled sound of the TV can be heard down the hall, a signal my dad’s in bed and my mom’s still in the living room. So, I throw on my jacket and crack open my window, slow and steady.
After sneaking out and shutting it behind me, I glide across the lawn over to Tamaki’s house and through the opening he’s left me. He takes my hand and helps me into the much warmer house. I click the window lock as I get comfy on his bed.
“Hi.” I whisper.
“Hi.”
Several minutes pass and neither of us say a word. My fingers pet the dark plum comforter underneath me, focusing my attention on the soft texture while the sound of yelling echoes in my mind. Tears trek down my cheeks while I try and think of what to say, not that it’s anything Tamaki doesn’t know. We’ve known each other since middle school. It’s unlikely that there’s anything I can tell him or Mirio that neither of them would know. They're probably sick and tired of you telling them the same stupid shit all the time.
“Are you…okay?” My best friend’s gentle voice breaks the silence.
“It’s nothing new, I’m fine.” I sniffle, wiping my face and shoving my emotions away, all the way down to soles of my feet. “I just didn’t want to be alone.”
“Are you staying for the evening?” He asks. “Mother knows your situation; you know she doesn’t mind if you stay for the night.”
“I know. I don’t know if I’m staying, yet. Mom has started checking my room in the middle of the night.” I explain, raking my fingers through my hair as I look up at him with red eyes and swollen cheeks. “The fights have been getting more frequent and the drinking is worse.”
“Does Mirio know?” He asks.
“I texted him, but you know he goes to bed early. He’s already asleep, or I wouldn’t have bothered you. I’m sorry, Maki-kun.” I sigh and place my face in my hands. “I just don’t like being there at night; I feel so alone and afraid. But then I feel guilty because shouldn’t I want to be with my family? I sneak out just like she accuses me. I don’t sleep around and I don’t get into drugs like she accuses, but I’m still sneaking out. If I didn’t do that, would it make her and Dad fight less?”
“I-I wasn’t trying to imply…that you were bothering me. I only…wanted to make sure Mirio was aware…of the situation.” Tamaki trembles a bit as he explains and starts wringing his hands, eyeing his wall. “H-He’s…a lot better with encouragement. B-But…I’m sure that the situation between your parents is not your fault.”
“Then why does it feel like it?” I choke out, shoving my palms into my eyes so I won’t cry anymore. It feels like all I’ve done for the majority of my teenage life is cry. Weak. Pathetic. “Why does it feel like everything I do is the reason they won’t stop fighting? Mom won’t stop drinking. Dad’s barely home trying to provide for us. I don’t know what to do to make it stop.”
When the warmth of Tamaki’s arm wraps around me, sheltering me in safety, I break. The dam bursts and I cling to him as shaky sobs rattle through his room. Thoughts surface from the first time he and I went to middle school, his body shaking as he tried to speak up at the front of the classroom. I remember being so quiet and afraid that I hadn’t been able to reassure him, my childhood best friend. Seeing Mirio do it so easily later that afternoon had humbled me, and it wasn’t until lunch time when the two boys were sitting alone that I’d decided to be brave and join Tamaki and the blonde-haired stranger.
Since I could remember, Tamaki had always been my best friend, my ride or die. Having someone new that didn’t automatically write me off as a stuck up prick was a breath of fresh air. Mom had flagrantly accused me of being a slut the moment I’d come home raving about Mirio.
This comforter has caught more of my tears than my own. I think with an ache in my chest. Gentle, familiar hands rub up and down my shoulders as I wonder where I went wrong. Was it when I first became friends with Tamaki? With Mirio? When I got my first F on an assignment? The first time I called my mom out for cheating on Dad?
“What’s wrong with me?” I whimper.
“What do you mean?”
“They wouldn’t fight if I was gone.” I cough. “If I went away their lives would be better.”
“That’s not true!” Tamaki gasps and pulls back so he can look at me. “Life is so much brighter with you. You’re like Mirio. Everything around you…everyone you interact with…your very presence makes everyone happier.”
“It doesn’t feel like it.” I say. “I feel like I bring gloom and despair wherever I go.”
“That seems more like something I would say, don’t you think?” Tamaki teases, nudging me a bit and giving me a shaky smile. “I-I…understand better than anyone…about feeling less than adequate.”
“You’re so amazing, though! And you’re my bestie, so you know I’m honest when I say you’re the best. You’ve trained and worked so hard to be where you’re at. You’ve made great strides. And I…” I go back to playing with his comforter as he continues to let me lean into his side. “All I’ve done is”
“You’ve trained hard too.” Tamaki never interrupts, so I make sure to heed what he says. “You were so scared to choose the hero track. We both were. But you were the one who encouraged me from the beginning to take a step into the hero world when I didn’t believe I could. You and Mirio pushed me forward toward that bright future. It never would have started so early if it wasn’t for you.”
Listening to him helps quiet my mind and focus on the more positive side of life, even as the bad voices still lurk on the outskirts of my mind. I pull back and sit up, yawning and realizing just how tired I am as my body calms down.
“...is the offer to stay still available?”
“You know my mother would never turn you down. I’ll pull out the extra futon.”
. . . . .
The guest futon feels comfortable and safe. No yelling invades my dreams to feed my nightmares. My alarm goes off about thirty minutes before I need to wake up, and when I blink my eyes open I find Takara nestled against my chest.
I grunt and thread my fingers through her hair.
“Taka-chan?” I coo, my worries instantly fading at the sight of the little girl. It takes her a moment to fully wake up, but then her pretty blue eyes blink up at me. “What are you doing here?”
“Bad jeem.” She babbles, tucking her head back into me and going to sleep again.
“Aww,” I purr, petting her hair for a few more minutes until anxiety clutches at my throat. If Mom wakes up and sees I’m gone… “Come on, Rara. I have to go back to my house.”
“No go!” She whines, holding tighter. “Iku stay?”
“I can’t stay, honey.” I frown. “I have to go to school in a little bit with your brother. And right now I have to go home so my mom doesn’t get mad at me.”
“No!”
Her determination to keep me here endears me to her all the more, but I give a heavy yawn with my quirk and she’s out for the count. I shift carefully and leave her bundled up in blankets on the futon. I notice Tamaki still sleeps on, so I grab his notebook and write a note for him.
Went home. Will walk with you to school as usual, though.
I get ready for school and walk with Tamaki to Mirio’s with minimal criticism from my mother before I go. To be fair, she’s too hungover to do much aside from nurse her headache with an icepack.
The second Mirio walks up to me and Tamaki, I tackle him in a hug. I squeeze him with all my limbs and exhale all of my sad. He has a way of soaking up all of my hurts, his affection a healing balm to cure my wounds.
“Good morning, Sunbeam.” He breathes in my ear. “From the looks of your texts, it seems like you had a rough night…and not in the good way.” He winks at me, before pecking my lips. “Do you want to talk about it?”
“It’s just the same old, same old. My mom’s just been drinking more and it’s made it hard to sleep at night. I stayed at Maki-kun’s last night.” I explain, letting him set me down and taking his hand as we head to UA.
“That’s been happening more frequently. Are you sure there’s nothing we can do?” Mirio tilts his head, never losing his optimistic expression.
“No. It’s our last year at UA. There’s not really a point. Besides…I don’t want to be the reason for her getting in trouble when I’m already the reason she and Dad fight.” I hold his hand tighter, betraying my fear.
“That’s not your fault, Ichan.” He leans over to smother my cheek in kisses until I’m giggling. Only then does he smile again. “My mom once said that sometimes parents with a lot of problems try to pick the one constant in their life to become the scapegoat of all their issues and insecurities. You’re the one thing they can control, so they use it to their advantage.”
“N-Not to mention…they think…you’re oblivious to all the problems…they’ve created.” Tamaki adds on.
“It’s true. They severely underestimate that beautiful brain of yours.” Mirio slinks his arm around my waist.
He makes my back tingle as part of his arm phases through me playfully so he can comfortably rest his hand there.
“Mi-kun!” I shriek out a laugh, squirming as the strange feeling sends tremors down my spine. “I’ve told you that tickles!”
“Have you told me that?” He smirks. “I don’t recall you saying anything of the sort.”
“You totally do! I can see it on your face!”
“That’s subjective evidence.”
“Mirio-AH!” He starts tickling me in the sides with his fingers this time and I bolt down the sidewalk as the school building comes in sight.
“Oh? So we’re doing endurance training now, are we? Come on, Suneater! We can’t lose!”
I hear him getting closer behind me and use his closeness as motivation to add one last burst of speed to make it to the staircase. My foot meets the first step when Mirio’s arm swoops around my waist twirling me around and clutching me against his chest.
“Gotcha! There’s no way you beat Lemillion!” He laughs victoriously as I pant and catch my breath.
For a moment, he just holds me like that and I let him, forcing oxygen in my lungs. His smile flattens into a neutral expression as he presses his ear more intently to my chest. I flush and look around awkwardly until he speaks.
“Your heart is beating so fast right now.” Mirio hums.
“Well, yeah, I kinda just ran the last two blocks to get here.” I snort, heart still pounding in my ears. “I’ll bet your heart is beating pretty fast too.”
“I like it.” Mirio states, finally setting me on my feet and cupping my face in his hands. “The more I’m with you, the more things I find to love!”
I crinkle my nose and find something else to focus on so I don’t automatically turn down the compliment. I reach up and smooth down Mirio’s uniform collar as an excuse to touch him.
“I could say the same about you, Slippery Boi.”
He drops his hands to my waist since we still have time to wait outside and presses his forehead to mine. Poor Tamaki plants his forehead against the outer wall of the school when he recognizes the intimate look on Mirio’s face. He typically tries to give us our space as a couple when we need our affectionate moments.
“I’m glad you have Tamaki next door to help you when I’m not able to.” Mirio whispers, gazing at me with so much love. “I trust him with my life. It makes me feel better to know that he’s close by in case there’s an emergency.”
“Mi-kun, it’s not like that. My family might yell a lot, but they’d never…” I open my mouth to finish that sentence, but find I can’t. Memories of intentional bruises and cuts from my father remain burned in my memory.
“They would.” He says through pursed lips.
“They do the best they can.” I defend.
“They can still do better.”
“I know.” I look away from him.
“ You deserve better.”
Again, I can’t accept something positive about myself, at least not verbally. I’ve been working on it, but verbal agreement still remains a struggle.
“Takara came to me for nightmare comfort last night.” I change the subject.
“Ichi-chan…”
“What do you want me to say, Mirio?” I huff, tears glistening in my eyes. “I know you think I deserve better and I know Tamaki agrees. I know you both would rather I just make an appointment with Hound Dog or bring it to a staff member’s attention, but I can’t. I don’t want…”
“You’re scared for what’ll happen when you get taken away?”
There it is. I move until my face plants against him. Mirio doesn’t allow it. He knows exactly what I need. He tilts my chin up and claims my lips fiercely, tugging my lip. He pulls back and then kisses me again, harder until my mind is blank. As we both stand there breathless, he rubs his thumbs over my cheeks.
“You don’t ever have to be afraid while I’m here.” He promises. “You don’t have to tell Hound Dog about everything, but I think you’d feel better if you at least brought up how stressed you’ve been. Midterms are coming up and you’ve worked too hard to let your parents mess that up for you. And I don’t care if you believe this, but I’m going to say it again.” He puts his forehead to mine again so I have to look into his sparkling eyes. “You deserve better.”
I close my eyes, take a deep breath, and then look up at him again. It could be time for a change, Little One. He speaks the truth. You deserve a better life than constant fear.
“Have I ever told you just how stubborn you are?” I pout.
“If you have, my ears were phased and I must have missed it.” He chuckles, kissing my forehead. “But I’ve definitely been told that my whole life a time or two.”
I roll my eyes but grin. “Don’t ever change, Mi-kun.”
“Sounds like a recipe for dirty clothes.”
That earns him a jab in the ribs just as the bell rings to start the day.
"How come he gets a delicious lunch and I don't?" Mina pouted turning her lips to the side with an upset look.
"How did you know I gave him one?" You asked putting your chopsticks down.
Mina put her phone in front of your face showing you the post that Mirio had made.
"Oh." You blushed off to the side, "My mom―it was her idea since I mentioned that Mirio had looked upset yesterday."
"Does she secretly ship you two?" Kyoka asked.
Your face turned bright red at her insinuation. "N―No! She just cares about him like if he was her son."
"Are you sure about that?" Mina sighed putting her phone away and picking up her chopsticks. "She sure does go beyond making sure that he's happy."
"How long have you known him by the way?" Ochako asked.
"About since junior high." You answered looking down at your food. "We moved a lot and I wasn't able to finish during my last year. When I met him he said he was already in high school."
"And he didn't hesitate to befriend you it seems." Kyoka said.
Shaking your head you continued, "Actually... one day after school I got home frustrated because I was having such a hard time with science. Mirio was there when I arrived back home and asked me what was wrong. He offered to help me and we started to become closer."
"Oh so he's the guy you were walking with on day of the ceremony."
"You saw them?" Ochako asked looking at her.
Kyoka nodded, "I thought you two were together but then heard you two were just friends."
"Why... did you think we were dating?" You asked.
She shrugged. "You two were acting really close that day, even held the side of his arm. People thought you looked cute together."
Nodding slowly you put your chopsticks down suddenly not being able to finish your food.
You never really gave it a second thought about what others thought. You always got along well with Mirio ever since you both met. Mirio was there beside you whenever you felt upset or needed someone to vent to. He became part of the group of people who you trusted and cared about.
Noticing your sudden change of behavior, Ochako then spoke.
"What type of guy was he by the way?"
"Hm?"
"The guy you met at work and at the cafe." She smiled, "You never told us about what you guys talked about!"
"Oh well we talked a bit about the type of things we like to do." You explained, "Also what our favorite music was."
"Was it awkward at first?"
"A bit..." You chuckled, "We were too shy to say anything at first but once we said hi to each other it got better."
"What type of guy was he?" Kyoka asked. "Was he decent?"
"He was..." you paused for a second as you started to relive the conversation you had with him. "Someone I have never met before. Every time he smiled, little dimples showed up on the corner of his lips. He had bright green eyes and hair."
"What was his name?"
Your lips parted but words never came out.
Did you two literally just skip that part?
"Y/n..." Mina leaned forward looking at you, "Did you never get his name?"
You retorted, "O―Of course I did!"
"How could you have forgotten his name?!"
"We―well the conversation was too good that we skipped over that part all together!" You groaned putting your head in your hands, "Damn it... what if I don't see him again?"
"Hey if he knows where you work then he'll know where to find you." Ochako rubbed your back gently, "Don't give up hope so easily."
"I hope so..." You mumbled, "I really want to keep talking with him."
As you made your back to class after lunch, you saw Mirio walking down the hallway with Nejire and Tamaki.
Mirio of course didn't hesitate to walk over to you and your friends to say hi.
"Y/n, the bento box was really delicious." He smiled. "Tell your mom I said thank you and to expect a cake soon."
Chuckling you shook your head. "You don't have to my mom was happy to make you one too!"
"Still she's very kind and I want to thank her for all the times she's send me food."
"Can you ask her if she can send me one too?" Nejire asked. "I got a small taste from his lunch and I loved it!"
"It was very tasty." Tamaki added.
"Y―Yeah," you shyly spoke. "I'll ask my mom if she can make a bigger one for you guys!"
“I can’t wait to taste that delicious food to myself again!” Nejire smiled widely.
“You two are really close aren’t you?” Kyoka said pointing between you and Mirio.
He chuckled rubbing the back of his head, “I’m surprised she’s been my friend this long.”
“Don’t say that.” You added, “I should be the one thankful for all you’ve helped me Mirio. I am grateful everyday that we’re still close.”
“You guys really do compliment each other.” Mina smiled.
“Alright enough teasing we should head back to our classroom before Mr. Aizawa gets mad.” Ochako said, “It was nice seeing you guys.”
Nejire agreed, “Same here! We should definitely hangout some time after school!”
“Karaoke?!” Mina suggested to which she eagerly nodded he head.
“How about Sunday?” Tamaki asked.
“Sunday should be fine for us.” Kyoka answered, “What about you, Y/n?”
“Sounds like a nice time. Sunday is fine with me.”
"We can meet up near the train station there's one karaoke place not too far away." Mirio said.
"I think I know which one you're talking about."
"The one that has a big sign outside the place right?" He asked looking at you.
"Yeah! I heard they have good food there too!"
Chuckling he spoke. "I knew you'd probably like it there."
"She is big on food after all." Ochako said.
"I am," you smiled. "You can't have a good time if the food isn't good."
"I trust your choice then." Tamaki said.
"What time should we meet you guys there?" Mina asked.
"Hmm..." Nejire tapped her chin thinking. "Are you guys allowed to get home late?"
"I actually have a curfew at 8." Ochako chuckled feeling embarrassed.
Mina sighed, "Actually all of us do."
"That's fine." Tamaki suggested, "How does two sound? We can even go somewhere else afterwards."
"I'm sure it'll be fine if I go but I need to ask my parents to just to be sure that I'm allowed to go." You said.
"I'm sure your parents will say yes." Mirio spoke, "I can go talk to them if you want."
"O―Oh no that's okay. I'm sure they'll say yes."
"Yay! I can't wait to go to Karaoke with you guys!" Mina exclaimed feeling excited for a day to relax with friends.
Kyoka agreed. "It's been so long since we've hung out together."
"Really? How come?" Nejire curiously asked.
"Mostly because of me." You shyly raised your hand, "My schedule has changed so I only have two days where my shift starts late."
"You only have Sunday off?" Mirio asked. "They should be giving you two days."
"It's only temporary since I'm saving money at the moment and the extra hours help a lot."
Nejire pouted, "Still you need your rest too."
"I'm fine." You reassured them. "I get plenty of breaks."
Mirio sighed, "If you say so... just don't hesitate to talk to us if they're mistreating you."
"You're such a worry wart." Placing your hand on his shoulder you gave it a gentle squeeze. "There's nothing to worry about, Mirio."
He took your word for it despite being worried about your well-being. You meant the world to him and pained him seeing you work so late on top of having school work. However he needed to trust what you said and relax, the last thing he wanted was to make you feel uncomfortable or upset.
Football Player Mirio x Reader (Part 2)(Discontinued)
Warnings: Quirkiness AU, Angst (Cheating and Abuse), Out-of-character Mirio, Baby
Notes: Went on a 4 month hiatus, and low-key forgot about this fic. Also, the baby has no specific gender, so use your imagination.
Tumblr media
You waited until Mirio was gone before you started your day. You weren’t emotionally stable enough to face him. After the hellstorm that took place the previous night, you wanted nothing more than to crawl back into bed and let the sadness wash over you. But you couldn’t, you had a baby to take care of and a room that needed to be packed. You slowly got out of bed and took tiny steps toward the baby’s room. It felt as though a weight was on your shoulder with each step you took, you swayed side-to-side like a drunk person walking home from a rowdy night out at the bar. Nearly tumbling over your feet, you grip the wall for extra support. You finally made it to the baby’s room, opening the door, you found them wide awake, their beady eyes staring at you. They cooed once they saw you, smiling while putting their tiny fist into their mouth. The sight of your baby made you smile. So innocent, you thought, not a clue in the world as to what was going on between their parents. You lifted them out of the crib, rocking them slowly in your arms. They grabbed onto your finger and giggled softly.
“Well good morning to you too, little one.” Your smile grew bigger, “I missed you so much.” You kissed them on their cheek, feeling their warm, squishy skin underneath your lips. You walked down the stairs and towards the kitchen to make the two of you breakfast. Placing the baby in their high chair, you turned on the stove and cooked breakfast for yourself, and got a can of baby food for your baby. After you finish eating (and struggling to make the baby eat) you call your parents to ask if you could stay with them for a while. You weren’t playing when you told Mirio that you wanted a divorce. This wasn’t like a cheesy rom-com where the characters would split up for a short period of time, but in some twist of fate, would wind up back together, no, this was real life. You weren’t going to let him embarrass you more than he did last night. You got confirmation from your parents, and with that, you began to pack your bags. It wasn’t much, just essentials for you and your baby that would get you through the month. You would come back for more of your stuff when the time came. You just wanted to be as far away from Mirio as possible.
You begin to load everything into the trunk of the car. Lucky for you, Mirio had taken the smaller car instead of the big truck, so you had more room to fit your items in. You went back upstairs to get the rest of your stuff, and as you were walking out of the room, you heard a door open and close. Shit, you thought. You hadn’t expected Mirio to be home so early. You took a deep breath and made your way down the stairs, struggling to bring the last bag down with you. You saw him, but he wasn’t paying any attention to you. He was too busy playing with the baby in the living room, laughing and kissing them on the cheek. Your heart began to race as you loaded the last suitcase in the trunk. You felt your face get hot, as you stormed back inside. Giving the same energy that he gave you, you shut off the baby’s tablet and took them in your arms. They began to fuss,
“Shh, you’ll play with it in the car.” You began to walk away until you heard Mirio’s voice,
“Where the hell do you think you’re going with them?” You turn around to face him, astonished by his hostile tone.
“Excuse me?”
“You’re seriously not gonna take them from me, are you?”
“Well, they are my baby.”
“They’re mine too!” Mirio glared at you. He attempted to grab the baby out of your arm, but you took a step back, causing him to stumble a bit. He was furious by then. “I’m not going to let you take away my fucking child!”
“Well, maybe you should’ve thought of that before you cheated on me, you disgusting piece of shit.” You were so riled up, so full of rage, that you forgot to watch your cursing around your baby.
“So you’re going to get an innocent baby involved in something that pertains to two grown adults? What kind of example does that set?”
“What kind of example do you set by cheating on your spouse?! You started this bullshit the moment you stuck your dick into someone else!” You shot back, you’d had enough of him and his attitude. You turned around, making your way back to the car when you felt a yank on your arm.
“You’re not leaving here with my goddamn child!”
“Get your fucking hands off of me, Mirio, I’m taking the baby with me and that’s final!” You tugged your arm out of his grasp. “How about you get one of your whores to make you another baby?” His face turned red,
“Don’t fucking talk to me like that!”
“I’ll talk to you however I damn well please.” You both narrowed your eyes staring at one-another. The room was silent other than Mirio’s heavy breathing. In one quick motion, he punched you in the face making you stagger to the ground. Luckily, you had held the baby tight enough to where they wouldn’t get hurt. The fall startled them, though, as they began bawling. All you could do is hold your cheek as you stared wide-eyed at the ground. Your ears ringing both from your baby’s loud cries and the shock of just being sucker-punched in the face. It takes every ounce of courage to look up at him, you couldn’t recognize the man that you married anymore. What stood before you was a narcissistic, abusive, cheater. You used the floor to push you off of the ground, when you finally managed to stand up straight, you looked him dead in the eyes,  “I’m calling the fucking police, and I’m going to make sure that you and your career are in shambles by the time I’m done with you.”
You’re safe, little one.
Eri x GN!Reader [Platonic]
Summary: Whenever Mr. Aizawa, Mirio, and Deku are all busy, Eri is left alone with her nightmares and she’s forever grateful that Mx. Y/N is there to help her with her terrors.
★☽A/N: This idea just popped up in my head, so I’m sorry if it’s crappy.
Contents: Fluff, a bit of angst.
Disclaimer - You will be referred to as Mx/teacher [Name]. Age: 20-28
Your quirk is called “Calm” which allows you to calm others (like calm someone down when their angry, sad, way too excited) and it’s useful to use for your defense, you can calm down villains (who are pumped with excitement and vengeance) and with them without their adrenaline, you are able to knock them down! It only works whenever you make eye contact or physical contact. Overuse of quirk would lead to mood swings and possibly outbursts! Your hero name: The calming hero: Starling.
Tumblr media
————•°•✿•°•————
Eri was such a sweet girl. You were one of the lucky people in UA to meet her while she was accompanying Aizawa, and she took a liking to you immediately because of your calm appearance and how you were gentle with her when you first met.
You’re probably the very few people that she feels comfortable with. She would come to you whenever she accidently activated her quirk a bit, worried and scared to hurt someone with it. With your quirk, she was able to calm down and stop her quirk usage.
She often visits you at night, crying about her nightmares. Since you are staying at the teachers’ dorm most nights (NO RENT!! WOOO!!) and she was staying there as well, it was easier for her to seek help.
One of these nights was the worst.
────── ꔫ ──────
“Y-Y/N…?” Eri softly whispered, worried if you were already sleeping and that she was bothering you. She walked in your room slowly, the floorboards creaking each step as she walked up to your bed. Grumbles and mumbles came from your mouth before opening your eyes and turning your head to the side.
“Mmm… Eri..? Why are you awake right now?” You asked with a soft, hoarse voice. Eri mumbled something and you could only make out the word “nightmare” and “can’t sleep.”
You turned your body with your back on the bed before sitting up right and turning your tired body towards Eri’s direction. “C’mere..” You softly gestured, she gladly obligated and took a few steps towards your bed before sitting herself on the bed with a bounce.
Eri turned her body towards you and crossed her legs, her hands shivering with fear. You turned your body around, crossing your legs as well and scooted a bit closer towards her. “Can you tell me what happened in that nightmare of yours?” you asked with a soft hushed voice which put Eri at ease a bit.
“I-I saw M-Mr. Deku on the ground..bleeding a l-lot- and Mr. Lemillion- He- He was stabbed by- some spike.. A-And M-Mr. Aizawa! He- He was so pale-'' Eri stopped as sobs started to form, you grabbed her and put her on your lap, hugging her softly. “I’m right here dear, it’s ok..let it out,” you rest assured her, she started pouring her tears and sobbed on your shoulder, harder than usual. “M-Mr. Aizawa- Mr. Deku- Mr. Lemillion, they looked so pale, it was so gory...and I hated it! W-What if I did that? W-Would it be my fault…?” She hiccuped. She never wanted to hurt them! They saved her and she was forever grateful for that, what if she listened to Overhaul? Maybe he won’t go and break out and kill them? (She doesn’t know that Overhaul can’t use his quirk again)
“It is never your fault, they never died. Mr. Aizawa is probably sleeping in his yellow caterpillar sleeping bag or on patrol, Mr. Deku and Mr. Lemillion are probably training or sleeping, they are just fine Eri,” you rest assured so softly and calmly, using your quirk to calm her down. “Overhaul will never hurt you, Mr. Deku, Mr. Lemillion, Mr. Aizawa, ever again,” you finished as you heard her soft snores of slumber. You grabbed her with a light grip and placed her softly beside you, tucking her in your bed’s blanket before snuggling up beside her.
“I will always protect you…All of us will..” you said calmingly as you brushed her hair softly before closing your eyes and finally falling asleep.
Eri and the hero Starling slept through the night with each other’s company, Eri’s forever grateful to Starling for helping her through her nightmares when no one could.
────── ꔫ ──────
~ Aizawa was so worried when he didn’t find Eri in her bed, he looked everywhere! And ended up finding her snuggled up, with her head on your chest.
~ Aizawa for once smiles, he got a soft spot for Eri and his students.
~ By the time you both wake up, Aizawa would thank you for taking care of Eri when he was away. With you nodding in “your welcome”, and he smiled slightly.
~ Deku would be so happy to see Eri in a very good mood during the morning. When he asked what made her so happy, she said you helped her with her nightmares and he would just smile and hug her softly, which she returned the gesture as well! (I think he would have a few tears of joy in his eyes, he’s a soft boy when he’s not fighting :D)
~ Just as Deku, Mirio would be so happy to see Eri in a very good mood during the morning and he decided to create a little playdate with him, you, Deku, and Eri! It was just a small hangout at the mall, but Eri enjoyed it so much!
~ Mirio knows you very well, he would call you to calm down Tamaki whenever he has his panic attacks. He would instantly know that you helped Eri with her nightmares. During the hangout, he whispered to your ear while Eri and Deku were talking happily, “thank you L/N Sensei, for helping Eri and Tamaki.” Which made your heart ache with such joy that someone admired your kind heart. <33
————•°•✿•°•————
★☽A/N: I absolutely love Eri, she’s so sweet! I would protect her with all I got if I was in the anime (even if I won’t get a quirk!). I really hope you guys loved it!! <33
bnha spoilers kinda.
Tumblr media
trying to describe bnha to my friend who's never seen anything related to it is crazy cuz it's like "yeah so in the fourth season thibgs get a lot darker there's this six year old who's been experimented on and who's been torn apart and put back together before she can die and the guy who helped save her lost his quirk and in this current arc he literally hit a villain with his ass. that was his attack. his full moon. mid fucking battlefield. also one of the main villain is the son of the now number one hero and he got the scars by burning himself alive but he didn't die he actually got picked up by the oldest villain ever and his mad scientist doctor and they stapled his body back together and tried to make him into an inhuman soldier for them but he missed his family so he lit up the entire hospital and ran back home only to see his dad now beating the shit out of his youngest brother during training so he leaves and becomes a villain and when he finally meets up with his dad in the final battle to commit a murder suicide he starts dancing" like yeah it sounds crazy when i say it
cw: angst, major character death
I know people have spoken about Mirio dying and leaving behind a heartbroken Tamaki, but what if it was the other way around? What if Mirio got the call late at night from Fatgum? What if because he's Tamaki's next of kin he has to go and identify the body of his partner, despite other heroes being present and everyone knowing exactly who had died? Just imagine happy Mirio, who always smiles, utterly breaking and sobbing over Tamaki's body while Fatgum tries to console him as he too cries.
SOULLESS + katsuki bakugou
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
SYNP — after losing your quirk, you had no idea what to do with yourself and katsuki couldn’t help you
WARNINGS — masc reader, suicide, quirk loss, heavy angst | 1.3K
A/N — did i cook, y’all? 🥺
Your quirk was what made you. That was the mentality most people in this world had. It was what you grew up on. You took it seriously. Your quirk defined you.
Katsuki knew this. He understood you. Even he knew he was more than his quirk. He never put you down for it, he just pushed you to work harder.
And you pushed. You pushed and pushed and pushed. Until it all fell to shit.
You don’t process the silencing sound of the gun shooting until you feel the impact. The world slows while simultaneously crumbling around you. You can’t hear. You can’t hear Sir Nighteye shouting, you can’t hear Izuku’s gasp, you can’t hear Togata’s cry. You just feel. Feel a part of you being ripped away.
The bullet sits in your body. And you feel. You feel the gash in your flesh. You feel the blood seeping from the wound. You feel the sting of its penetration. Then you feel the strength drain from you. You pushed too far.
Everyone described your time in the hospital as uncharacteristic and silent. The only time you spoke was when Katsuki visited you. And he felt. He felt the emptiness radiating from you. Even then, you sat in quietness as you attempted to tell him how you were feeling. Empty. Weak. Soulless.
He couldn’t treat you like everyone else. For one of the first times in his life, he knew, a quirkless person was nothing less than him. He had to treat them right. He had to treat you right. Which he did of course.
Your mental and emotional condition always hurt him. Always made him feel like a piece of him was missing. Even when you were allowed to return to your training. When you’d help him with his special moves or by sitting on his back while he did pushups.
It was a mental trick. It was supposed to make you feel like you were back. It was supposed to make people see you and smile and pat you on the back. Giving you “good job!” and “we’re glad to see you back.” But you weren’t back. You weren’t anything. And nobody knew. Nobody knew until Katsuki and Aizawa did.
A normal day of physical therapy while everyone else was training. One where Katsuki requested to come with you and one where Aizawa sat in with you. Your arm wasn’t functioning like before. No part of you was. Not your mind, heart, or soul, if it was even still there.
The physical therapist gave you your usual spiel before leaving you with the two men.
“The way you’re taking this ain’t very heroic, you know?” Aizawa told you, taking a seat next to you on the bench. He put a comforting hand on your head, pulling you close to him.
Your words struck through the two like the bullet that hit you. The bullet that robbed you. “I’m not a hero anymore. I’m nothing.”
That’s when the two realized. You weren’t the same. The hero you were and the person you were now, were completely different.
Katsuki saw the signs. He knows he did. His only mistake was not knowing what to do about them. He had sick thoughts. He thought maybe if Izuku had gone through with his words, he’d know the signs. He’s grateful that Izuku is alive and well but a bit upset that he didn’t have the experience he needed.
You zoned out often, stayed in your dorm all the time, slept in class, and barely spoke at lunch, you wouldn’t text with your old spark and enthusiastically run up to him after school. He missed you. Not any more than he does now but he did. Even though you were right there. Like you were just a body floating its way through life.
He told Aizawa. Aizawa said to give you time. Katsuki doesn’t blame him. Not entirely. He couldn’t have known. But giving you time was the wrong move. Giving you time was the last thing you needed.
Katsuki knows he should’ve been smarter the day you gave him a letter. An envelope that you didn’t want him to open until the next day. Aizawa got one too. So did Hitoshi. And Izuku. But none of them thought anything of it. Just a way for you to get the words you couldn’t say out.
Katsuki should’ve known after seeing the way you grinned around everyone and stayed by his side all day. But he was stupid. He thought you were getting better.
Dear, Katsuki Bakugou.
Katsuki. I love you more than anything in this lifetime. I am forever grateful for what you’ve given me. My life has gone so much better than I ever expected because of you. I want to give you the world. I tried. I tried really hard. But I can’t. Everything feels dull and nothing feels right. I feel trapped and I don’t feel like myself. And I can’t get out of this slump. Being here feels like being dead. I’m not here. I know this would hurt to text you or say to your face. I can’t think of those eyes of yours without it hurting me. Nothing is your fault. Never. Thank you, Katsuki. I love you in this life and beyond. Take your time, hold your ground, and become the best. I’m rooting for you. I’ll see you on the other side or in another life. I know if I become myself again, I will always find you.
Love, your dumbass, y/n l/n.
The wind rushed past you. Everything looked so different from your view. The same scenery you’d be taking in for the past few months sits ahead of you but it looks different. It feels nice. Maybe because this was the last time you’d see it.
The ground glares up at you, it’s pavement calling to you. The moonlight shines on your skin, casting your shadow on the rooftop of the dorms. You try to smile. To take it in one last time. But you can’t. Your mind won’t let you. Whatever was left of your soul won’t let you.
You just take a deep breath. And feel. You feel the bullet breaking your flesh and shattering your bone. You feel Katsuki’s warmth surrounding you. You feel Aizawa’s hand on your head. You feel and feel and feel. Before you fall.
It only took minutes after sunrise before you were found. An unlucky student stumbles across a corpse. Their blood-curdling scream immediately grabbed the whole world’s attention. It only took hours for them to collect you and identify you.
After that, it only took minutes for it to be announced to the class. It only took seconds for Katsuki to unwillingly break down. As fast as the bullet ripped your quirk from you, his soul, his mind, and his heart were ripped from him.
It only took seconds for the pity and grief to intoxicate the room. Poisoning every first year and teacher at the school. It only took days for Katsuki to finally convince himself to read the letter. It only took seconds for him to break down again and be pulled into Aizawa’s chest.
It only took a week for Katsuki’s world to crumble.
He visits you through the snowy days and warm nights. Sitting in front of your stone and replacing your flowers. Your soul is long gone and it feels as if his was too. The picture of you in his t-shirt, stupidly grinning at the camera stares into him. And he feels. He feels the hurt. He feels the pain. He feels your warmth. He feels your missed presence. He feels and he feels and he feels. Until he doesn’t think he can anymore.
“You weren’t nothing, y/n. You were everything.” He pushed the words out.
