The plotline where Jack's honor and righteousness influences his Tok'ra symbiote to break every Tok'ra law to save his girlfriend is so fucking crazy deep like holy shit
The SGC anytime the Tok'ra keep information from them, put them in harm's way without giving them all the information, or straight up lie to them:
The SGC whenever the Tok'ra dial up the gate:
fr tho I think the alliance between Tok'ra and Tau'ri is kinda not worth a lot; it's primarily held together by Jacob. I do think that's kinda earth's fault, seeing how afaict we never encounter any other hosts from earth. Has the US even upheld their end of the bargain and brought them hosts?
With Spelljammer coming out soon, I thought I would toss this one out into the void. This is my stat block and some history for a race of abberant mind snakes from the Far Beyond, who seek out humanoids and beasts to dominate and take control of. Based on the Goa'uld/Tok'ra of Stargate fame most of all, they also draw inspiration from the Yeerks of Animorphs and the Trill of Star Trek.
They're a pretty evil and selfish aligned race, but they do have their good members, thanks to Queen Titania of the Summer Court rebuffing and branding a Brood Queen who tried to dominate her. Her following brood were cursed with her humility and regret, and now try their best to resist their evil brethern.
As always, the homebrewery link is available here and it is best viewed in Chrome due to the makers of that site not supporting Firefox as of yet.
Once again, an attempt was made to provide alt text, but for those who rely on such things, the best way to get the information is through the homebrewery link.
Let me know any thoughts you have, or if you use them in your own game!
Erin-Gunthar the tok’ra and Selyma the wraith hybrid. My two beloved PC, that follow the weird stories I create for them since 6 years. They were part of the crew of the space delicious (a scout ship) and now are just the private service women of the Ouman’shii empress.
Always in the worst place possible in the best moment possible!
(Erin is a ridicoulously small russian women. Selyma is like 1.7m....)
Make for the stargate advent calendar 2022.
Here is the space delicious crew from 2017: https://atlantisdoodle.tumblr.com/post/169464549421/050117-the-finishedredo-version-finally-happy
Lineart done by Oncead, the player of Selyma.
I know it was probably behind the scenes bs for why they didn't use zats and rings in Atlantis but I feel like it would of made more sense if they did.
Lately I've been thinking about Tok'ra tunnels, when they went to Pegasus they didn't know what they would be walking into it would of made sense to send the Expedition with some Tok'ra Crystals so they could have easy cover. McKay would have easily been able to grow more with what they have in the Atlantis labs and they could have used them in trade/give them away to people so they could protect themselves, the people of Pegasus already use caves systems to hide a portable cave system they can choose to location/entrance of would be insanely useful.
Sam Carter / Martouf/Lantash, Rated: T. Romance, Hurt/Comfort, Angst, Pining.
A missing scene from the episode “The Tok'ra pt.2”.
Sam's only hope to save the life of her father is the help of the Tok'ra. Martouf and Lantash stay to comfort and protect her — while she waits to see if Tok'ra healing powers can change Jacob's fate — even as their world is collapsing around them.
99. Being a Jaffa is a very dangerous job and lots of damage can happen to a body including the symbiote pouch even though it's normally covered up with the better armor protections.
This of course means that a growing number of symbiotes have been subjected to blunt trauma over the years.
Blunt trauma can affect development, possibly blocking access to some of those troublesome genetic memories, even with sarcophagus healing of favored jaffa.
Because of that damage, the Tok'ra aren't actually dying out entirely and still manage to get recruits every couple years when they manage to identify these amnesiac symbiotes.
The Drakes are archeologists. Stargate sg1 has had archeologists dig up containers with goa'uld's. What if Tim Drake's parents find a jar put it in the Drake mansion, little Timmy being curious found that jar and either a tok'ra or goa'uld jumps into him. Now he has a symbiote.
I wanna read a Stargate ficlet where a Tok'ra blends with someone with terrible depression and all those sparky brain juices are healed through the blending and I wanna see that transformation explored

~
Samantha's voice was stern and cold. "Let go, Martouf."
He looked up at her with such pale, innocent eyes. Or perhaps it was the blue light, emanating from the crystal walls of their private chamber, reflecting in his eyes that made him look so guileless. Sam knew better...
