The funniest blink-and-you-miss-it cameo in X-Men '97 is Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme, using magic to do surgery while the power's out with the Cloak of Levitation on over his scrubs.

As much as I give Charles flack sometimes, this episode really hit me in the feels with the relationship between Charles and Magneto. I don't even ship them but the scenes with them were so intense I literally was in pain and also sobbing. From Magnus losing his memories and showing his vulnerability--to Charles saying he'll always be there to support him even if he's pulled under with him. I'm just..overwhelmed by emotion. Magnus talking about not remembering his family's faces, not having a family/being alone..And Charles doing his absolute best to remind him he was just a kid when he lost his family but he has him. He has the X-men. That..Magneto isn't alone..and won't ever be abandoned by him.

My entire soul was taken by the intensity of their scenes and friendship--how much they care for each for each other, cause each other pain. It was just fucking beautiful even in the beginning when Charles had to hurt Erik to save the planet --the man begging him to stop and ultimately shattering his psyche. Hahaha.

Also humanity dooming themselves by shooting at the asteroid and causing it to crash was fucking hilarious [unless it was slowly going to crash but they sped it the fuck up-to my knowledge it was only hovering]

I just started the new episode--and how DARE they do a flashback of their relationship. Given what just happened in the present and what's going to happen--watching their friendship in the flashback is so so painful.

Also!! Xavier: "And what if I were a mutant?"

Magnus: "Run and hide before someone starts dreaming of camps."

I just like how the holocaust references are better shown in X-men 97 and how such a horrible trauma..can never be forgotten nor should it.

I loved how he told Charles to go back to his childhood and see what reason brought him. How his people used reason and others used tanks. Ahaha...I'm in pain.
