Well can you explain Gender Ideology with who uses it and where? Can you show where I can find it? Can you describe it without conspiracy theory or recycled homophobia? You are welcome to try.
So I think some of the confusion might come from the language. I know you’re being facetious with this comment but anyway. I am literally a gender studies major so this will probably be more in depth than what you’re asking but maybe someone can benefit.
Gender Ideology™️ isn’t some sort of official concept and doesn’t have an agreed upon definition or foundational text like other social theories. It’s a way of conceptualizing sex and gender. Other analogous frameworks would be biblical gender roles, the Christian fundamentalist ideas of men and women, or postmodernist queer theory, something like Butler’s Gender Performativity.
You’re right that gender ideology is vague and non-specific and I think this is because of the interaction between academia, politics, medicine, and popular culture. Sure, academics and theorists influence society, but rarely in such a direct way (please feel free to correct me). For example, the American civil rights movement and women’s liberation movement had academic elements, but were not governed by how academics theorized race and sex, they were based on people’s lived experiences. Transgenderism, I think, is the opposite and somewhat of an escaped lab experiment. Towards the end of the 20th century, academics began to write about gender in more provocative and philosophical ways. Obviously, this was not the first time anyone had done this, but there was a huge shift in the way academic spaces thought about gender in the US after women achieved full legal rights (which didn’t happen until the 1970s btw). I’m sure the fact that women and gays/lesbians could finally be scholars and professors was important as well. Anyway, I might disagree with Butler, but her theory work is at least intellectually robust. And if you read Butler, it’s very obvious that she is first and foremost a philosopher, not a sociologist or an anthropologist, and this is clear when you hear her speak (which I’ve done btw). Contemporary transgenderism, as a social category, is a direct result of these theorists. There is a lot of misrepresenting or even rewriting history but “transgender” as we understand it today did not exist 20 years ago. We like to call people like Marsha P Johnson transgender, but he didn’t identify that way. He called himself a gay man, a cross dresser, a drag queen, a transvestite etc etc. TRAs often say “trans people have always existed” and homosexual behavior and gender nonconformity (and maybe even sex dysphoria) have always existed but trans as a concept undeniably has not. I could talk a lot more about historical falsehoods and Transgenderism but for the sake of getting to the point I’ll move on for now.
Gender ideology, is how groups like radfems refer to the Frankenstein monstrosity that is the framework Western left/progressives use today to think about gender and sex in order to be inclusive to transgender identifying people. The main ideas are that biological sex is not real and neither is sex-based oppression. It maintains that social and medical transition is necessary for transgender people to live, and that medicine is able to change someone’s biological sex (it can’t). Being transgender is not just dysphoria but some innate sense that someone’s soul is differently gendered than their biological sex (except biological sex is also somehow not real, one of many paradoxes). A woman is “someone who identifies a woman,” even though this phrase is completely meaningless. Because gender is not tied to biology sex, it relies on social ideas. As a result, gender ideology reinforces regressive gender roles and stereotypes, without which it cannot exist. 20 years ago we said boys can play with dolls and it doesn’t mean they’re gay because gender stereotypes aren’t innate and are very harmful, today “we” say that boys who play with dolls are actually girls and need to be given a pink makeover and put on medication. While society was beginning to move away from gender, gender ideology has brought it back to the center and gender is once again considered to be central to one’s identity (and personality) and maybe even the most important fact about them. For this reason “misgendering” and similar actions are considered violent attacks on personhood. Crucially, gender ideology converges with conservative gender ideals through its obsession with gender and performing femininity and masculinity.

Random Character Groups™️ I’m invented while playing Hyrule Warriors that don’t make sense except when they do
Children of Divorce- young link and skull kid. (Based on a fanfic I read once where Fierce Deity and Majora were bitter exes)
DILF Squad- Ganondorf and King Daphnes. I don’t think I need to explain this one
The Twins- Sheik and Zelda, (becomes Blond Bomb Squad when Tetra and/or one of the Link’s is added)
The Lesbians- Zelda and Impa (they’re married. Fight me)
The prettyboys gc- link, ghirahim, Volga, and eventually ravio when I find him (they all have a group chat where they talk shit about everyone)
Characters I’ve hit with my Transgenderism Beam: Ghirahim, Toon Link, Tetra, Skull Kid

It wasnt with any instance in mind specifically but i have seen some great mhyk cisbends actually. And i love the idea of fem arthur! I hadnt considered faust or heathcliffe but im on board now! I saw a tweet once that said mithra should grow boobs in tiletta's honor and i support that... i suppose the post was made with enstars in mind cuz ive been thinking about cis girl izumi lately (he's nonbinary to me in canon but i think his rship with his mom in portrait wouldve been sooo interesting with the added layer of daughters turning into their mothers... im also fond of hetbending loiz but for it to be no different whatsoever from their canon rship. But i also think iz-mk-lo would be interesting had they All been girls...)
But i also think transgenderism in wizard world would be interesting to explore, not just imagining what if they had been cis girls. I wonder if trans humans resent wizards for having the ability to transform themselves... or if, like with curseworkers or doctors, there are wizards who specialize in giving humans hrt potions and surgeries. In a world where murr was into medicine he wouldve brought hrt to humans so they wouldnt have to rely on wizards...
mithra SHOULD have boobs in tiletta's honor tbh. In my mind, cisbent mithra would go from wearing no bras because she dgaf to wearing pushup bras as a way to carry on tiletta's legacy.
Also NONBINARY IZUMI TRUTHER, I SHAKE YOUR HANDS
Izumakoleo as all girls...omg your mind....we could have the best yuri how did no one else think of this. As expected of the president o7 i salute
And now onto wizard genders: we do know of a few wizards with funky gender in canon. They can use magic to shapeshift after all. Here are a few i can think of at the top of my head. Spoilers for ms2 for everyone else but i'm sure you don't mind lol
Figaro mentions having a friend that is born a wizard, shapeshifted into a witch and stayed like that, even ended up carrying a baby to term and giving birth
There's a western witch who presents exclusively as a wizard in front of humans in ms2. I never even thought about how human-wizard dynamics might affect genderfluidity but that sure is interesting
Rustica has been a transguy to me since reading ms2. Idk if i am the only one interpreting it as that but i swear there's a part i read as him having been a western princess. Because of that i like to imagine/headcanon chloe is also a trans guy and kept the feminine name rustica style.
Figaro, man. Figgy is just. SO painfully transfem like omggggg. Besides being so Eldest Daughter™️ coded in northfam, the ridiculous amount of times he's been like "btw if anyone wants to see me as a beautiful woman pls let me know" girl do YOU want to be a beautiful woman??? It's definitely in character for fifi to be a certain way and then try as hard as possible to hide it, perhaps even lying to oneself about one's true nature.

The fem merc designs should all be basically the same as their male counterparts in that they’re all middle aged (except scout ig) with like. Maybe minor differences in body shape and makeup wherever funny, save for Pyro who should have visible Girl Bulge™️
REAL !!! In some cases like I don't think there would be a difference at All, as a shehim girlboy Sniper truther (I am trans. I am trans) I literally change nothing about her appearance except long hair which Sniper should always have regardless of what gender u think he is imo. Most important thing to remember w all this is that gender is totally fake and that the human body is the human body, it's not gendered. I love genderfuckery and transgenderism and pronouns and shit I love making characters trans and nonbinary always and forever. So basically this post is me saying I'm pro Medic tf2 in makeup and a dress as long as u keep her FUCKING shoulders because women literally just look like that sometimes

It's always deeply amusing to me to see conservatives blather on about "The Dangers of Transgenderism™️" and the usual horseshit about grooming and coercion. In truth, the trans community goes out of their way to make sure folks are making as informed a choice as possible. I've been blessed to have made connections with kind and intelligent people who have been through the system, know how it works, and are willing to share their knowledge with others.
To that end, i have to ask myself a question: Is bottom surgery worth it for me? The overwhelming consensus from the folks I know who are post-op have said it was worth it for them, but there's a bit of an asterisk next to that. They want to be sure I and other folks in my situation don't romanticize surgery. Complications and revisions happen, and pain is pretty well gaurenteed. I trust them when they say the first few months will be deeply unpleasant, and I want to carry myself with that expectation.
Out of respect for the privacy of this community, I will be speaking very generally about what experiences I should expect, and speak about no one except myself in this post. With that out of the way, what are the cons, difficulties, and hardships I need to be prepared for?
Cost. I'm fortunate that the cost of my surgery will be covered 100% by my provincial insurance. What is not covered is travel and accommodation. Since I'm not willing to wait up to four years for surgery in BC, I'm placing myself on the waitlist for GRS Montreal instead. Hotels and flights are not cheap, so I'll have to see what supports and resources I can bring in to help me pay for it.
Loneliness. I have absolutely zero family or friends in Quebec. I think the closest friend I have to that province lives in Kitchener, Ontario. That's about a six hour drive - I checked. It would be unreasonable for me to ask her to see me in Montreal, let alone to ask anyone from BC. My husband is willing to come help me, but since we both have bills and obligations we can't gaurentee that he'll be able to. I have to be prepared to be on my own if it comes to that.
The plane ride home. Good christ, this will be hard to navigate. I'm not 100% sure what my pain med schedule is going to be, so that will impact how comfortable this will be. Sitting down on is going to be painful, and I want to be sure I don't reopen any stitches in that crowded plane. How do I go about that? Great question! Just wish I had a great answer.
Complications and revisions. The technique at GRS Montreal is a single procedure, apparently performed with three surgeons in the room. While I love that it's quick, it doesn't leave a lot of room for revisions if I don't like the aesthetic, nor for any corrective work if there are complications. Also, since the wait for services in BC is pretty long I may have to travel back to Montreal for care if anything like that happens, which will not be cheap.
Dilation. For the first month I'll be dialating four times a day, then three times for month two & three, twice for months four to six, and then once daily until the twelfth month. I'd prefer to get a full six months off of work to best accommodate this, but the standard seems to be going back to work by month four. Twice daily dilations are going to be difficult to manage given my work schedule and long commute. If I can't get those extra two months, I'll have to negotiate a change in my work hours.
Sexual functionality. I likely will be capable of orgasming after everything is said and done, but I'll have to work at it and re-learn how to do that with my new genitals. It'll be a long and frustrating process, and there's not much I can do about it other than try and be patient.
I'm writing this out with the same motivation that the trans folks I'm connected with brought this up had. It's a reminder in good faith that this is not an easy process, which to me is an important part of the support I want to seek out from my community. I want to understand what I'm getting myself into, and they have been gracious not to sugarcoat the reality of it.
After everything is said and done I still want a vaginoplasty, and I still want to go to Montreal to do it. These are problems with solutions. All I have to do is find out what those are.
