I just think you should be aware that people are judging you behind your back.

It started with casual observations about your new habits, like people noticing your gym visits dropping off and eventually ending completely. Or people just realizing you stayed inside a lot more, became something of a homebody. These two things were mostly brushed off, but when they finally did get to see you they saw you eating a lot more, and eating really whatever you wanted. Still, people weren't alarmed, people change every day right? A quick glance over your body and it really looked the same, so eventually this new normal just became normal. You were accepted as a girl who no longer cared about fitness or diet, but you were still the same person they always knew.

But then things only continued to escalate. You picked up a real sugar habit, and it was rare for them to see you without some sugary drink, cookie, or pastry. There was a boba tea in your hand whenever possible, and you sucked them down without the slightest thought. Here's where people finally started to say something to eachother, your outrageous sweet tooth became an inside joke amongst themselves, making fun of you in a friendly way with the other people that know you and saw you munching every day. Someone even joked you were gonna get fat and the others laughed, knowing you're too much of a bean pole for that.

Thats when it caught up with you. Slowly at first, but undeniable, you softened up. What tone remained from your forgotten workouts and sport obligations faded away under a thin yet supple layer of smooth flesh. Your arms and legs became like any average sedentary girl, thin yet squishy to the touch, more so from atrophied muscle than any real weight. When people got a glimpse of your tummy it showed the same thing, a subtle softness and smooth, without the lines of abs that used to impress. No one said anything, but they all noticed after carefully checking you out in your daily outfits.

You were still oblivious, but your habits only took a turn for the worse before their eyes. Meals became many, and many meals became stuffings. Eating took up more of your free time, leaving even less for activity. It was when your metabolism started to crack. Your midsection started to round out ever so slightly each week, your hips and thighs a bit fuller each month, and before their watchful eyes you started to put on pounds.

After some time it really added up, you were undeniably squishy with an inch of soft pinchable fat in nearly every major area on your body. Problem areas started to emerge where the fat cells collected and expanded somewhat faster than others. Your tummy especially, your thighs and tits following close behind. With your fitted trendy fashion sense the new bulges were never fully hidden or concealed, and people noticed. And people began to talk.

Is it just me or is she looking different lately?

Oh her? Yeah she's starting to fill out a bit.

Softer, amiright? Didn't she used to have abs?

I'm not judging or anything...but she's put on a couple, and those clothes aren't helping.

No one said anything to you of course. That would be rude, it was only a few pounds after all. You were still "skinny", albeit a harsher judge would say skinny-fat, and thats what a few people said.

But you kept eating, and you kept growing. That little tummy quickly turned into a pooch, a good handful to squeeze, and rounding out in a little curve of fat that clung to your t shirts and squished into rolls when you bent over. Your arms thickened up, no longer the toothpicks they once were, even jiggling a bit at certain times. Your thighs started to spread out a bit when you sat, joining your plumper ass in making a more comfortable seat for you for most of the day. Most clothes were snug, many were tight, some stopped fitting entirely. All of them gave unflattering bulges and only made you look chubbier than you already were.

You became a favorite topic of conversation, hushed whispers about how bad you needed to size up, about how you used to be so fit, about what calorie bomb you chose that afternoon. The gossip was fun, and gave others insecure about their own bodies some relief knowing you were the focus of all negative attention.

But you got fatter, to where you are now, pudgy and out of condition. Sporting a debatable pot belly and a double chin at certain angles, your weight problem finally began to stir action in those concerned about your wellbeing. They finally felt they had to say something, a hint to get yourself together. Why do you think you got invited to the gym? It sends a clear message.

Because you can't watch your own waistline, others feel they have to watch it for you.

Hi friends, happy Friday!

The Sims team recently collaborated with Ebonix and dropped the "Urban Homage" CAS kit on April 18th, so you guys already know I had to snatch it up and give my thoughts. I'm a week late, but I'll give you the TLDR up front: I like every item that came in this kit. Yes, I'm just as shocked as you are!

Sidenote: Don't worry, even though they aren't pictured above we will be looking at the male assets as well - they're in their own separate section under the cut!

With all that being said, let's jump into it! ↓

First, let me show you those masculine frame outfits I promised:

Okay, now I'm just going to get my minimal qualms out of the way:

I wish the female frame bodysuit labeled as a top could have also been in the full-body category. I love that it can be layered with other skirts and such, but it's soooo cute by itself and we don't have anything like it, especially for everyday or workout purposes.

Next, the joggers should have been enabled for both frames and same goes for the overalls. You can untick the "female" or "male" clothing preference in CAS and they both look fine on the opposite frame, but obviously there is some minor distortion in the chest area on fem frames when they wear the overalls.

I also wish the basketball shorts came in some simpler, sleeker swatches alongside the bolder prints and colors.

That's literally it: miniscule complaints really, and trust me when I say these complaints are nitpicky for a reason - I struggled to find critiques for this particular kit.

As for literally everything else not mentioned above: I love these clothes, and I think there are a few items that I will use over and over again.

All the bottoms are superb

The loose jersey is an item that we desperately needed in game

The dashiki swatches are stunning

The fit of every item across the board is immaculate on a wide range of body types.

The few simple items snuck into this kit - the cropped denim jacket, the tie crop shirt, the open button down, etc. are so versatile and beautifully executed.

The trendy butterfly top, the skinny pants with cutouts in the side, and the platform ankle boots (specifically the flame swatches!!) have all been tackled by cc-makers; these versions that come in this kit are right on par with the cc counterparts out there, a HUGE win for console players who cannot use cc.

Basically, these clothes look like clothes I could actually see real people wearing...unlike some items that have come in packs in the past that feel far too niche or look like leftover items that didn't fit in a different EP or GP. (I'm looking at you CAS items from Crystal Creations... I know those assets were 80% Realm of Magic rejects lmao. Not that I'm mad, I like a lot of the items, but they really aren't super versatile.)

Perhaps the most surprising treasures in this pack, however, actually lie within the accessory categories. Wild realization for me because when it comes to accessories in the sims I'm usually indifferent at best and confused if the devs have ever seen a real human out in the wild at worst (because let's be honest...that shit is usually so oversized and weird looking it's basically unusable). But I have to give these accessories their moment in the sun because WOW. I can't believe I'm uttering the words "I love" next to "kit accessories..." but Hell hath frozen over I guess. Here are some screenshots:

Every accessory (with the exception of the GORGEOUS headwrap) is enabled for masculine frame; this includes the rings (left & right), necklaces, earrings, facial piercing, and even the nails. The facial piercing shocked me the most as I've never used the piercings we've been given in other packs - they're always thick, bulky, and chunky in the worst way. But, much to my amazement, this nose piercing is sooooooo good and even come in a number of decent swatches outside of gold, silver, black! In fact, I liked it so much that I'm ditching the cc nose ring on my OC Ta'Nia and swapping it for the nose piercing that came with this kit. Even on a sim with a downturned nose tip and wider set nostrils (like the male sim I used in the screenshots) I felt like the piercing still looked great!

I only have one complaint about the accessories, and it's that I wish we were given more than one set of nails, or at least more color swatches for the nails. Black, red, and blue bases with chrome tips are just too limited to me, especially with all the vibrant colors we see in this pack! I would have liked a set of nails with intricate airbrushing/hand-drawn designs or ones that utilized gems and charms along with some variation in length and a shape outside of the trendy coffin or oval nails at medium length. I know this is picky, but cc nails are killing the game right now whereas the sims team continually plays it safe and, imo, it's boring; console players deserve to have glamorous works of art on their sim's fingers as well!

OKAY... time for my wrap-up thoughts!

Look at me saying this wouldn't be a long review... yet here we are, a whole ass Ted Talk later lol. Overall, I personally encountered zero major issues in this kit. (Please note that when I say "major" I am talking about hoodies that make eyes 3x their original size or jewelry that corrupts the body of a sim lol.) I will say that I saw some people saying they noticed some discoloration on the facial piercings that came with this pack (textures/colors bleeding from some other CAS items onto the piercings) but I didn't personally have that issue. If there are any other issues outside of the discolored piercings, I didn't encounter them and I haven't seen others talking about them.

TLDR: For me, this and the grunge kit are the standard of what a good CAS kit should look like. I think I'll be using several of these items often, and the content is easily worth $5.00 (unlike the party kit that dropped alongside this one... but that's a topic for another day). If you're going to give EA $5.00 for a kit, I confidently recommend this one.

a definitive guide to mastering the sex and the city aesthetic

PART 1!

part one: disclaimer

sex and the city has to be one of the most absurd shows when it comes to realism, and i watched friends. four beautiful young women, single, with impeccable style and a seemingly endless amount of money parading around town all day as if they're unemployed. and yet, they are employed! all of them! i think that's the part that i find hardest to believe. nobody has enough time to do what they do, but, hey, that's the beauty of television. so, this is a disclaimer. while you can master the satc mindset and act, look, and feel (more or less) like carrie bradshaw, there's gonna be some disconnect.

part two: style

now, i started watching satc pretty recently, but i know that what i heard most when bringing this show up for discussion was FASHION, FASHION, FASHION! this is definitely a huuuuuuge part of mastering the aesthetic, in my humble opinion. a key aspect of the carrie bradshaw effect is her incredible stylistic choices and her ability to pull them off (despite some obnoxious patterns). so, here's my two cents on how to feel like you're in the show--- through fashion!

for one, they seem to wear a lot of tight fitting clothes. i don't see a lot of baggy jeans (or really jeans in general), or pants or even baggy tops. carrie, for example, wears a lot of tight-fitting tank tops, usually bra-less. they're usually paired with maxi skirts or shorts or something of the sort. what really struck me about their fashion choices was that they made sense. this might be an unpopular opinion, but i'll expand on it anyway. though the characters do explore with some strange clothing and pattern combinations, the types of clothes that they're wearing make sense for the activity they're doing. well, except for carrie wearing heels to walk around the busy streets of manhattan. but, for example, within the scenes that they're at the gym, doing pilates, running, or doing any other form of exercise, they're wearing that common 90's look that i saw a lot of in friends. this means tight tank tops and athletic shorts or sweats. pair that with a pair of old-school looking headphones (wired headphones, which are a staple of a lot of my outfits!), and you've got your workout outfit. to find clothes id probably go for a thrift or antique store (do they even sell clothes there?). as for more popular stores, i'd stay away from places like forever 21 and h&m unless you're looking for basics, because their clothes are gonna be stagnant in the TRENDY area. overall, just look at pinterest and curate a board that inspires your clothing taste. individuality is a huge part of the girls style. but, the main idea im trying to get across here is stay close to simple clothes, stay away from fleeting trends, and find pieces or patterns that call out to you!

if you really want to stay true to the show, look up common 90's trends. staple pieces i would recommend are:

dainty, classic rings

sustainable jewelry that doesn't turn your skin green. invest in your jewelry! (bracelets, simple necklaces, earrings)

basic clothing pieces without patterns (tank tops, graphic tee's, tube tops--- carrie is very fond of strapless shirts and dresses!)

dresses, simple and ones with patterns. stay away from fast fashion, invest in clothing that lasts!

maxi skirts!!!!!

shorts. shorts are good. jean shorts, athletic shorts, comfortable shorts, all of it! theres all sorts to fit whatever occasion.

buttons ups are perfect if you need a thin, fashionable jacket or an oversized shirt. they come in all sorts of stripes and patterns to fit your mood.

a few different pairs of sunglasses in different shapes

for charlotte lovers--- glasses with thick, black, circular rims. if you don't need prescription glasses, look into blue light glasses or glasses intended for fashion specifically. also pearl earrings!

heels, heels, heels! who cares what people are wearing now-a-days? I'm frankly tired of cute outfits paired with converse or air forces.

invest in a few "going out outfits". this means glittery dresses, short skirts, small, tight tops, and extravagant jewelry.

it's also important to remember that they look good in a lot of their outfits because they're VERY skinny. and very fit.

it's equally important to remember that they had a lot of money (somehow), and were spending it on expensive clothing from high-end stores. that's not to say that you cant replicate it under a tighter budget!

part three: attitude

if i can get ONE idea across through this entire post, it's that attitude and mindset is the most important part of mastering any aesthetic. have you ever watched a show, and right after you feel like you're living in it? you act, move, talk, and think like the characters? yeah, that's because we mock what we see! so, see it! master that mindset! the best and easiest thing you can do to feel like you're a character in the show is to WATCH THE SHOW. take note of their actions and how they handle themselves. their mindsets, all of it. it's all key to acting and feeling like the characters you wanna be. if you wanna be like charlotte, focus on her. if you wanna be like carrie (maybe don't be exactly like carrie), watch how she handles herself. once again, i'll stress my love for pinterest. create BOARDS! create physical vision boards or collages or journals if you're more into working with your hands and having a physical product. cultivate the kind of person you want to be, there's about a million different images and thoughts that you can take for yourself out there.

Never The Bride Always The Bridesmaid |Yeonjun|

I have been friends with Yeonjun since elementary school. We did everything together and were basically inseparable. Everyone laughed as we grew older joking that we were so close that we'd get married one day. I grew feelings for him and it only grew into high school. That's when everything went downhill. Where I fucked myself over by introducing Yeonjun to one of my best friends who transferred schools. I didn't think about the possible consequences I would later face. My friends, Hana and Yeonjun grew close quickly. Which caused a rift between both Hana and Yeonjun's friendship with me. Every time I asked Yeonjun if he wanted to hang out he always responded saying Hana asked him to hang out. Our text messages were only one-word responses on his end and when we hung out he always had to leave early. I felt like I was thrown away like a banana peel. At school, Hana laughed at every cheesy joke Yeonjun told her. My spot next to Yeonjun's with our friends turned into her spot. I watched their obvious flirting for weeks as they grew from getting closer and secretly holding their hands to just not bothering to hide it at all. One day Yeonjun and Hana seemed giddy.

"We have to tell you guys something" Yeonjun smiled looking at us happily.

"We are officially dating!" Hana said a bit too loud out of excitement. I could feel my heart cracking at that sentence.

"Congrats" I gave off a fake smile glancing at Yeonjun hoping he'd fall for the smile but he wasn't looking my way. His gaze was on her, his eyes filled with admiration.

That whole lunch period I pretended to be okay. I got backstabbed by someone whom I thought I could trust. I told Hana before she transferred I liked him she even listened to me talk about him in middle school. I felt angry at myself for not telling him sooner. As school went by pretending was getting exhausting. I closed myself off and put the walls up that Yeonjun knocked down back up. Once we graduated most of us went to different colleges but of course, Hana and Yeonjun decided to go to the same college. I blocked them out focusing on my studies. My other friends went to other schools so I was left alone. Once I got my bachelor's degree I quickly went to find a job to busy myself from going insane. It worked finally but it didn't last long. I got a text from Yeonjun the last one I got was two years ago asking for the notes he missed. The message read to meet him at a restaurant mentioning our other friends were going to be there next week. I debated on whether to go or not getting a gut feeling not to. I checked my calendar for some reason hoping I would be busy but I was free. I hesitantly responded letting him know I was going.

I looked at myself in the mirror after sending the text. I cleaned myself up more than I did in high school. I lost weight but that was because of my workout routine to get the body shape I wanted. I started to actually care about how I dressed and looked. Bad hair day? Baseball hat with simple clothes. Style my clothes that'll match with a trendy outfit. Simply going to the store? Flare leggings with a cute sweater. I also started to use hygiene products. In high school I was the typical student who accidentally turned stuff in late, either falling asleep or close to it, and not getting the greatest grades.

I sighed and put my phone on the charger lying on my bed in my oversized shirt and shorts while staring at the ceiling. My mind raced trying to figure out what could possibly be so important that he wanted a reunion at a fancy restaurant. The last time I checked he wasn’t one for making such luxury plans for something so simple. I closed my eyes ready to sleep before I heard my phone ping. I looked at my phone annoyed by the sudden noise. I turned my phone over and saw I got a text message from Soobin asking if I got the invite.

“Yeah, why?” I texted.

“When he meant friends I just wanted to know” He replied which made me raise an eyebrow.

“I’m pretty sure he meant Kai, Taehyun, and Beomgyu too”

“Just making sure I’m not going in blindly lol”

“I’m going to bed” I replied setting my phone down and turning the notifications off not realizing he sent good night. I slowly fell asleep to the sound of a faint patter of rain falling on my window.

I kept myself busy trying not to get distracted by the upcoming event. It felt impossible but I made sure to keep track of everything. The work wasn’t the best that I was doing but it was still up to expectations. When the day came I stared at my makeup wondering if it was even worth the trouble and uneasiness to go. It was finally my day off but I’m stressing over something that I’m not even sure about. I sighed and started doing my makeup trying harder than usual to make it perfect. I set the makeup on and got up to look through my closet for the soft pink dress I was planning on wearing. I found it and carefully stepped into the dress doing my best to zip it up from the back which I’m 99% sure I got. I walked over to the big mirror looking at myself. The soft pink eyeshadow matched my dress and my hair curled as perfectly as I could do. I smiled a little at the way my outfit turned out. I checked the time and noticed it was time to go. I walked to the door putting black heels on and grabbing my bag that held my keys. I stepped out the door locking it behind me and unlocking my car at the same time. I walked over to my car and got in.

“I have a bad feeling about this,” I said to myself before driving to the restaurant.

The parking lot was packed with only one spot left. I sighed in relief and pulled in the spot. It was a bit tight but it would have to do. I got out of the car and started walking to the building before bumping into someone.

“I’m so sorry-“

“Y/n?”

“Soobin?” I looked up at him and saw his blond hair. “Woah you dyed your hair?”

“Yeah wanted to try something new” He smiled. “What do you think?”

“I like it” I smiled back. “It looks nice on you”

“So how have you been?” He asked as we both walked to the door.

“I’ve been fine”

“That’s good” He looked over. “You look nice today”

My heart skipped a bit and I had butterflies for just a second but it’s probably because no one’s complimented me in a while.

“Thank you look nice too,” I said my face slightly red. “Wait your zipper”

“Huh?”

“Your dress isn’t zipped up all the way”

“Of course it is” I groaned and reached back to zip it clearly struggling.

“Do you mind if I finish zipping it?…”

“Yes please” I sighed.

He nodded as he gently moved my hair away from the zipper and moved the zipper up. Once he was finished he fixed my hair.

“There you go”

“Thanks”

“Don’t mention it” He held the door open for me.

I walked inside amazed by the sight. I spotted Yeonjun and told the waitress that I was with that group. She nodded and led Soobin and me to the table. I took a closer look and saw Hana and Yeonjun holding hands under the table. That uneasiness multiplied. I walked up and waved.

“Hey guys” I smiled as everyone greeted me back as I sat down. “It’s been a while”

“It has” Kai smiled. “We should have hung out more”

“Agreed” Beomgyu nodded.

We all talked about what we did after high school and college. Taehyun ended up being a martial arts instructor and did a magician for little kids as a side gig. Kai took his love for music seriously and is an official musician vocally and with instruments. Beomgyu decided to take his silly nature and become a comedian. Soobin became a chef and worked for fancy restaurants like these and even traveled around one year. Finally, Yeonjun is now a dance instructor along with doing a few competitions every once in a while. I was amazed by all the hard work they put in to do what they wanted since high school.

We brought up old stories from when we all hung out and had some laughs. As the night ended Yeonjun and Hana looked at each other giving a slight nod and smile. Yeonjun clears his throat.

“So the reason why I decided to have this meet-up is because we have something special to say”

“We’re getting married!” Hana said loudly showing off the shiny ring. My heart dropped that awful feeling slamming into my mind. Everyone smiled and clapped their hands congratulating the two. I quickly snapped out of it and congratulated them holding back tears and giving the fakest smile I could muster up.

“Thank you guys for being there for us” Yeonjun smiled.

“Hey, Y/n?” Hana looked at me.

“Yeah?”

“I want you to be my maid of honor” She smiled.

“I would love to,” I said taken aback.

“This is so exciting!”

“Yeah it is” I grabbed my things “Well it’s getting pretty late, I should probably get going”

“Yeah I’m gonna head out soon too” I heard Beomgyu say.

“Well I’ll send out some more information see you guys then”

I nodded and walked away from the table waving goodbye. I quickly went to the car and threw my stuff in the passenger seat. I started the car and backed out of the parking spot. As I drove I finally let myself cry. I knew I shouldn’t have gone but I still did, even with the bad feeling. I pulled into the driveway and got out of the car with my things. I walked to the house and unlocked the door. I closed and locked the door behind me as I threw my shoes off. I walked to my room and gently threw my bag on my chair.

I changed into my pajamas not bothering to throw my dress in the hamper. I walked to the bathroom and saw that mascara was running down my face. I sighed and wiped it away. I looked down at my toothbrush and put toothpaste on it. I refused to look in the mirror too scared that I would cry even more. Once I was done getting ready for bed I walked straight to my room and laid down. Today was a shitty day.

A few months passed and I finally got an invitation to the wedding. It had a photo of the two smiling in the middle of the card and writing on the back. I threw the card on the table already knowing the dates and time. March 28th, 2024. I already got notice of it when I forced myself to go shop for bridesmaid dresses with Hana and her friends. I sighed and made myself some coffee before I had to go to work.

I kept track of each day counting down the days until my misery happens again. I sighed taking deep breaths as I drove to where the wedding would take place. I was already dolled up in my maid-of-honor dress. When I made it I walked to the room Hana would be in. I took a few more deep breaths before walking in to act excited.

“I really appreciate you coming and I’m so happy you can be a part of this” She held my hand excitedly in her gorgeous white wedding dress.

“I’m honored” I smiled as she hugged me.

“I’m nervous”

“Don’t be Yeonjun is a wonderful person” I squeezed her hand.

“I know but what if he doesn’t want this anymore”

“Then he’s missing out,” I said. “Don’t worry about it everything will go fine.”

“Thank you,” She said as music played.

“I think it’s time to go,” I said as she nodded.

I helped her get out of the cramped room and to where she needed to be. I walked to my position as well. I looked over and saw Soobin next to me. I’m not surprised Yeonjun picked him as his best man.

“Ready?” Soobin said holding his arm out for me to take.

“Yeah,” I said linking our arms together.

We both started walking in a straight line down the aisle. I looked forward and saw Yeonjun there waiting but not for me. Soobin and I unlocked our arms and went to the side so we could both go to our assigned spots. The music changed as Hana walked down the aisle with her father. I noticed someone was recording so I made sure to keep my emotions to myself. Yeonjun was tearing up at the sight of her and when she finally made it both of them had big smiles on their faces and tearing up. The vows felt like hours but when Hana started her vows it sounded like something I’ve heard before.

“Hana! Give that back” I yelled as she started reading a page of my diary out loud laughing.

“Dear Diary, Yeonjun made my heart feel like it was going to explode!-“ Hana laughed running around my room.

“Here’s a good one!” Hana said turning the page. “When me and Yeonjun get married I’m gonna be the happiest girl in the world! I’ll make sure to say it to him too! But not now!”

“Give it back!”

“One more one more” She laughed and jumped on my bed. “Oh? This is recently”

I groaned and sat next to her on my bed.

“When I’m with him I feel like everything and everyone don’t exist and only focus on him. He’s my favorite person in the whole world” She said while laughing.

I snatched my diary back frowning and blushing at the same time.

“I can’t wait to see you two get married!”

“Yeonjun when we first met I thought my heart was going to explode. I should say how happy I am to be with you more than the whole world. When I’m with you it feels like everything and everyone else doesn’t exist. You are my favorite person in the world and I can’t help but be happy about what will come next”

Those sentences sounded familiar but it was futile. Before I knew it Yeonjun was already kissing her. We all clapped as they did so in a way to congratulate the couple. It didn’t take long till people were ready to go to the after-party.

I carpooled with one of Hana’s friends to the after-party to make it easier for me. Everyone was chatting as I looked out the window my breath showing up on the window because of the cold. Once we made it everyone I was riding with eagerly got out of the car as I dragged myself out of it. I walked inside and saw people already on the dance floor. I went to the table I was assigned and placed my stuff down. I looked up and saw an employee with a bunch of champagne glasses on a tray.

“Champagne?” She asked.

“Yes please,” I said as she handed me a drink.

As the night went on I got some more drinks and Kai dragged me to the dance floor somehow. After a while, a clanking of a knife and coming into contact with a glass was heard. Everyone went quiet as the DJ handed the Microphone over to Yeonjun.

“I want to thank my friends and family for your support throughout our relationship. I would especially like to thank Y/n who introduced me to the beautiful woman I can call my wife.” Yeonjun started giving a small speech but I stopped listening and zoned out after hearing him thank me for something I didn’t want to happen.

The bright colorful lights started up again and the music started playing again which snapped me back to reality. I took another class of champagne and quickly drank it before rushing outside to get fresh air and have the small hope to not cry. Once I made it outside I sat on the steps shivering from the cold. I could feel tears streaming down my face.

"It's pretty cold out here," a voice said behind me I looked behind me and saw a tall blonde giving me a slight smile.

"What are you doing out here?" I quickly asked wiping my tears as he sat next to me.

"I could ask you the same. Especially when it's freezing out"

Soobin took his coat off and putting it on my shoulders and buttoned one of the buttons. I looked at him as if he was crazy.

"What about you?" I asked concerned.

"I'll be fine" He chuckled.

"...are you sure?" I asked hesitantly feeling guilty.

"I wouldn't have given it to you if I wasn't" He looked at me and smiled.

I just nodded and looked up at the night sky. The stars littered the sky brightly making it a beautiful sight to see.

"In all seriousness why are you out here?" Soobin cut the brief silence.

"It's not important anymore," I said my eyes still trained on the sky. I could see Soobin's concerned face from the corner of my eye. I sighed looking down. "I feel guilty"

"About what?"

"Hating this whole thing I fell in love with my best friend for years I imagined my future with him but he fell in love with my friend. I hate that he's married and happy with her and I hate her for betraying me. God, I sound like a fucking asshole." I looked up chuckling bitterly tears falling down my face"I should be happy for them but I can’t help it." I looked down in my lap shaking my head at my sentences.

"It's funny"

"What do you mean funny?"

"Your jealous of her and I'm jealous of him" He looks up at the sky.

"What do you mean?" I looked at him curiously.

"He has someone I've liked since I met her wrapped around his finger" I tilted my head confused.

"Let me guess Hana?" I asked as he shook his head no chuckling a bit.

"She's really something. She has beautiful E/c eyes that I get lost in every time we talk. Her voice is like a melody and her smile lightens the room for me at least. She always helps others even if she needs help herself. She's just perfect in every way and I wish she'd see me. I wish she noticed how many times I gave small hints. Either way" Soobin looked at me. "She deserves the world."

"Who is this girl?" I asked.

"It's you. The girl is you Y/n" He says softly his eyes genuine and full of admiration and love.

"Soobin..." She said her voice quiet as she stared at him in shock.

"I thought you should know so I don't make the mistake of not telling you..." He looks back up embarrassed to look back.

"You really think of me that way?"

"Every single word"

"But why didn't you say anything till now?"

"I didn't want to ruin your chance to be happy with Yeonjun..."

"But still-"

"I care about you a lot and I didn't want you to carry the burden of my feelings with you. I wanted you to see them rather than me telling you."

"That's...very kind of you," I said.

"I try" He looks over giving a slight smile. "I know the feelings aren't mutual but I just wanted to get it off my chest and try and make you feel a bit better about yourself. I could tell you were upset and less confident in yourself."

"I- thinking back you always offered to carry my books every day or if I needed a ride home holy shit I was so clueless" My eyes widened as he let out a small laugh.

"I was hoping you would get the hints but it didn't work" He scratched the back of his neck. "Sorry, I'm throwing this on you now honestly I shouldn't have done that now but-"

"Stop it's okay" I gave him a soft smile. "I appreciate it and I'm glad you told me"

"Do with that information as you will" He stretched his arms getting up. "I'll give you some-"

"Stay" I grabbed his wrist unconsciously my heart beating. "I could use some company"

"Are you sure? I thought you needed some space maybe"

“I’m sure,” I said as he sat back down.

There was a nice silence as the wind blew past us. I looked at him fully admiring him. His blonde hair fell perfectly on his head. He fit blonde hair perfectly compared to his original hair color. His eyes sparkled in the night sky and his red cheeks and nose from the cold didn't affect his appearance at all. He turned his head and looked at me.

"What?" He smiled.

"Nothing!" I said quickly my face turning red.

"Okay then," He said knowing I was lying.

"Hey," I looked at him. "Do you wanna try?"

"Try what?" He asked having an idea of what I'm saying.

"Being together, I know I'm moving on quickly but I think it's time for me to let go of Yeonjun and move on..." My face was red and my heart was pounding. “I’ve held on to this hope for years but it’s time to let go”

Soobin looked taken aback but composed himself, his cheeks red as well. I could see the excitement in his eyes.

"Yeah," He smiled wildly. "I would"

“I'm freezing and I can tell you are too" He got up off the ground and helped me up. Our fingers intertwined and fit perfectly. We walked hand in hand inside both of us having a big smile on our faces. Today started off shitty but became one of the happiest things that happened to me in a while.

Jack/Bo/Peter with a PC who gets hyper? (I have ADHD, I’ll usually jog twice a day to get out the pent up energy!) I wonder if it’d be too much for Peter? Feeds into Bos puppy thing sorta

Umm... I’m not doing any headcanons about Peter, sorry. I went over the reasons why in this previous post, but to sum it up, I’m just not a fan of the game. You might want to look elsewhere for Peter headcanons.

I can, however, muse about how Jack and Bo would deal with a hyper MC. Let’s start with Bo. Quick reminder, these games are for Adults Only and I’m just going to jump right into the smutty headcanons.

I’m pretty sure Bo would enjoy a puppy who has a bunch of energy to burn. I don’t know if you’ve heard all of his lines, but this guy has insane stamina, and he wants to go about a dozen rounds before he’s satisfied. He is horny, intensely so, and I’m sure that no matter how much energy MC has, I doubt they’ll be a match for him and how he goes about burning it off... which will include a lot of howling of his name.

If MC lets him, I’m sure Bo will be spending the bulk of each day just playing with his puppy in the most carnal ways imaginable. I’m sure he’s going to give quite the work out!

Now onto Jack. Similar to Bo, it seems to me that he’s got a high libido and supernaturally impressive stamina. If MC wanted to burn off energy with spicy fun times, I’m sure he’ll oblige.

If MC doesn’t want to spend the bulk of their energy getting gently fucked into the mattress or whatever convenient surface is nearby, I’m sure Jack wouldn’t mind other activities. He’d be happy to jog with his sunshine, go to the park with them, or any other physically demanding activity they want to burn off that restless energy. Heck, he even has a cute workout outfit!

Plus, Jack has had training when he was still an actor on how to deal with children, who are notoriously energetic. I think he can help MC direct their energy in positive ways so that they can be responsible but also have fun.

Overall, I’m sure Jack could have a lot of fun with an MC who has tons of energy to burn, both in and out of the bedroom.

Even before the dating scene, Karma doesn’t seem to be a person who cared much on how a person looks, whether it be masc or fem

In fact, he practically never cared at all until he got curious enough to actually ask, because to him, someone’s gender isn’t going to change whether or not he likes them

That is until he realized that the other person may take their appearance and actions more seriously when it comes to how people see them on first glance

Being an observant person, he starts to realize how his partner would often wear oversized shirts, get finicky whenever their hair looks a certain way or refused to look at the mirror some days

He wouldn’t be the first to ask, only thinking about what way should he mention his concern without appearing to be insensitive, ‘What if they think I’m being too forward?’ ‘What if they’ve been waiting for me to say something?’ ‘Am I postponing this too much?’

Karma’s not used to emotional talks despite knowing it was the only way to go about the problem

“Want to go shopping?”

So instead, he disguised his investigation on finding out the deeper problem through various invitations such as shopping

Asking: what kind of outfits do they prefer? No skirts? That’s fine, what about dresses? Sometimes? Okay, then what about color? Are there some that they don’t like? Were laces fine? What about beads?

“Maybe a new hairstyle?”

He’d offer to go through fashion magazines just to purposefully point out certain hairstyles that might suit his partner’s interest, maybe that’ll show him exactly what they’ve been fretting about

“Shorter hair? That’ll look nice.”

Throwing in a few subtle compliments after he finally figured it out

‘Masculinity? That’s what they want.’

It was definitely obvious to him that his partner wasn’t cis, but he never asked because they’ve never mentioned it. To him, they’re just them and he likes them. But maybe that might’ve come off as ignorant, now how does he fix up an apology for that?

“I know what you’re doing”

He never gets caught in an act, in the middle of his own scheming, but when you’re with someone long enough, you catch on quick and that’s definitely the case this time. How can his partner not notice? Asking them out just to have questions after questions thrown at them? He’s much of a worrier than he’d like to think

Though, it was less of a coming out, but more of a confirmation; the real challenge starts now

“Is there anything you’d like to have?”

He’d offer his clothes, his older colognes, even his jewelry if they’re inclined on a more edgier look with the silver rings and necklace

Karma would suggest ways to style their hair, make it proper? Messier? However they’d like, he can do it

He’s not one to buy things because they’re trendy, but somehow he always looks the part “How do you do it?” He’d offer advice

This makeover to him was starting to get more fun each time his partner would ask something from him, whether it be a clothing item, an accessory, features that they should accentuate when doing makeup; he feels like a teacher of some sort

Karma would not show his happiness with everything that has happened, he’d brush it off whenever his partner says thank you, but the corner of his lips were raised and he couldn’t get the grin that his partner flashed out of his head

If they wanted to go all the way, they can even ask to workout with him, he’ll be glad to mentor (although, he might purposefully tire his partner out during the first week for laughs)

Karma isn’t one to say praises out loud, at least not often, but if his partner is down, he’d go out of his way to say affirming words for them and this especially happens if certain days get a bit dysphoric

He wouldn’t only be helping with presentation either, he’d do his research, taking times where his partner is not around to find out more about being transmasc, he wants to be useful without it being too obvious

Karma would hate to see someone get so down over their own body, he’d try to uplift them albeit his struggle to sound genuine when doing so, his teases and jokes are completely there to help, he would never mean harm when it comes to a serious topic like this

He won’t ever keep it a secret either, if his partner wants to be seen as a guy, he’ll gladly embrace it. After all, he likes them, what’s there to doubt?
