Found a suuper old sketch I did like in 2018 on my files and since Ive been wanting to do more Solikar stuff with the trinity(stuff from their setting ) I felt like reworking it!

I haven't made any game, and I am not super sure what you're specifically referring to. I will respond with all the possible answers, JUST in case.

AAANNNND OFF Fangames! I talk a lot about Bandit, who has shown up in/has been removed from a variety of Fangames over the years. I'll give a list of the ones I've talked about.

UNKNOWN: LINK Warning: this game contains blood, violence, depictions of suicide, and alludes heavily to violent sexual assault. I wouldn't normally give warnings since these games usually do it for me, but UNKNOWN does not give proper warning of it's contents, so to prepare in case you want to play, now you know.

RISE: LINK Note: This is the Finished Game, what I like to call the "Tate Version". As I said previously, Bandit has been removed from the game for the final product and replaced with another character named Tate. Unfortunately, I do not have a solid link for the Bandit Version of RISE, I was given my copy by a friend who had gotten it before the Tate Version was made, so I don't believe there are any surviving links. I do have a video that features my boi in that game, so you can check that out if you haven't already! LINK YOU WILL NEED EASY RPG TO PLAY THIS GAME. JESS i’m having louis/armand/daniel brain rot again, i wanna know your thoughts 🥺 specifically like, are there any things that armand and daniel enjoyed during their DM years that you think they might pick back up with louis at trinity gate? i feel like in my head, daniel is always kind of the third wheel (at trinity gate, at least), but i’m really fascinated by the idea of LOUIS being the one to step into their world for a change

Movies: we know Louis watches movies from how he kept showing up at Lestat's in body thief to stare at his tv lol But I think Armand and Daniel have so many inside jokes from all of the weirdo movies they used to watch, or quotes that they repeat and Louis doesn't get it. So I think they'd really enjoy sitting him down and subjecting him to the Worst Hits of Armand's Movie Phase.

And Daniel especially would enjoy the validation that some of these are fuckin terrible films LOL They could mind gift back and forth about how insipid Louis finds the plot until Daniel is sitting there choking back laughter because finally, someone who agrees Time Bandits isn't that funny.

Video Games: I don't mean modern console games, I mean like classic arcade games and pinball machines. Which Armand probably has a whole room of them in the basement somewhere, lovingly restored and in perfect condition. And I think Louis would be a little hesitant- he seems like the type who acts 'above' certain things just because if he tries it and sucks at it he'll feel humiliated. But even he can't resist the siren call of PacMan and eventually he's knocked them both down on the scoreboard and taken the top spot.

(Also they like to go out a lot so sometimes they end up at like, Dave n Busters LOL Which is far more contentious because ugh, it's noisy and tacky and smells like that radioactive 'cheese' mortals cover their nachos with. But your jock!Louis headcanons have bewitched me and I think they could soothe him by getting him to shoot hoops on the basketball game)

Going Out-Out: Louis is such a homebody when left to his own devices and now that they've got Trinity Gate, home to whatever vampires want to stop by, what's the point in spending time among mortals?

So they'd ease him in with some random one-off classes ("Come, Louis, we've an appointment to learn to make fresh pasta tonight" "Yeah, I know, what's the point when we don't eat, just don't argue with him, it'll be fun" And you know what? It is). And then they'd take him to random stuff from the meetup app (or not so random, because both of them know Louis wouldn't be able to resist debating strangers at a weekly book club).

And then they're back to running around strange apartment buildings to meet up and coming artists, and accepting invites to follow their classmates down to a local bar, and crashing the sets of night shoots around New York. It goes better when it's the three of them because when someone is over it and ready to go home there's no obligation to stay and keep their partner company. No pressure to do anything but enjoy existing together out in the world for a few hours.

Diplomacy was a wild job, in the Dreamlands. It could be as simple as speaking to another visiting diplomat, simply checking on how allies were doing. It could be tense, and Lorraine had frequently wondered if she would be dead, and her skin sent to Kuranes as a message. Shooting the messenger to send a message back was a readily accepted form of communication in the Dreamlands, after all.

Seonghwa stood up, pushing his sleeves back. “Did you just assume what I was like in between the sheets based off of how this fight panned out?”

You raised your chin stubbornly. “Am I wrong?”

Mingi, the third to your team, broke through the bush at the perfect moment. “The leader got away.” His eyebrows furrowed when he looked at you and Seonghwa. “Are you guys fighting again?”

You turned your head. “We’re not fighting,” You denied.

“We’ll settle this later,” Seonghwa vowed.

Mingi looked worried, glancing at the two of you the entire trip back to your village. The tension could be sliced with a blade and it made Mingi anxious but, neither you nor Seonghwa said a word to each other. You reported to your leader of the bandits but none were captured. He made a note and said he would send a few teams to search the forest for the bandits and eliminate them. You nodded and then were dismissed.

“So…wanna grab some food for a job well done?” Mingi wondered.

You shook your head. “I’m going to head to the baths and then sleep.”

“But--” Mingi attempted to protest but you were already strolling away, waving goodbye.

“I have training to do,” Seonghwa said curtly and then Mingi was alone on the road. His instincts told him something was going on between you two but he had nothing to base it on. 

“Hey!” Seonghwa’s long legs allowed him to catch up with your fast stride easily, “Why didn’t you report to our captain that I’m a lazy team member?”

“Reports are unbiased, Seonghwa,” You retorted, “Captain doesn’t want to hear my opinion on you.”

Fantasy Hours

The Adventurers Guild!

Trinity Bishop (She/They) & her companion Droth (they/them) the goblin are two mercenaries in the guild. Trinity found Droth when they were younger and saved them from bandits. Afterward Droth decided to just follow Trinity and help her with anything she needs which included joining the guild to help protect the town.

(Starting from top left) we have Mizuchi Gumo (dark elf, they/them), Andromeda Nyx (Tiefling, they/them, not related to Zilyana or U'dora), Celine Bloodriver (Sorceress & Zilyana's mentor), Navida Ravikumar (Human archer), Sherry Masters (Tiefling thief, they/them), Tibby Marrow (Skeleton, they/them)

Even Agnes and Agatha Crumplebottom are in the universe still only I turned them into witches.

The Current Royals

For a family by the last name Darling, they sure are far from it. King Gregory Darling I & his wife Queen Roxanne, their children Gregory II and Bethany Darling are the current royalty within the land. Gregory I is a bumbling oaf, a greedy bastard and Roxanne cannot wait for him to eventually kick the bucket so she and the children can take over. They're cruel, lazy, self absorbed and have issues with the adventurers guild who have been trying to start a revolution to protect the people.

Frost of the Forest

The one who has the biggest issues with the royals besides the guild is a fairy named Lapis Dewdrop who lives in a treehouse within the forest. The royals insist on cutting down the trees within her area and so she's not very friendly when it comes to humans.

I'll have more eventually but so far this is my current fantasy themed legacy save/story.

Au where all of teams RWBY and JNPR were raised by individual villains!

Ruby was taken after Summer's death and raised by Cinder as a weapon on Salems orders. And that's how she was raised, being nigh emotionless most of the time and a incredibly effective fighter. Emerald had some very one sided sibling rivalry type feelings towards her at first.

When Winter was still heiress Jaques made a under the table deal for Weiss to be taken as a *apprentice* of Watts. Which in reality was essentially her being sold to be used as a guinea pig for various inhumane experiments. Weiss has multiple artificial limbs and phonological changes but DID end up picking up a good deal of technical knowhow like a real apprentice as a SMALL silver lining.

Yang was taken with her mother and raised as a ruthless bandit. She's almost always red eyed and has frankly worse temper control than any point in canon. Because of the nature of her semblance She's always on the front lines in the tribes fights and raids and has the scars to prove it.

Ghira and Kali both died in a tragic accident thst many more extreme members of the white fang believed to be a well disguised assassination. Adam takes the roll of a adaptive peer parent to Bkake....while still harboring his canon feelings for her in a very creepy way, he throughly radicalized and manipulated her.

The majority of the Arc family died in a attack by infamous Assassin Marcus Black....exept for a very young Jaune who he thought he could get use out of as a sparring partner for Mercury and replacement should his blood kid be a complete disappointment. Jaune was brought up in the same shit environment Mercury was on top of deep seated resentment of knowing what Marcus did to his blood family. The night they killed him Marcus had set up a fight to the death between his kids as a final test, instead he found them ganging up on and killing him. Because of the help Mercury only ends up losing one leg....but Jaune loses as arm.

Phyrra in her very first tournament caught the attention and interest of Tyrian Callows who felt she'd be a delightful new pawn for his goddess and proceeded to kidnap her and spend years mentaly breaking down his new 'daughter' until he felt she was as vicious and devoted as him.

Roman found a wandering Ren and Nora on a international job shortly after he started working with Neo. The two joined his gang and became something of a henchmen trinity with Neo. Nora still has alot of her Nora tendencies but tends to reshape them to mimic Roman's demeanor while Ren comes across as far more cold to most people.

captain - queer, agender, they/them. since the captain's pretty much just the viewer, this is just my own interpretation of who i feel like i'm playing as in iswm.

mark - pansexual, guyflux, they/he. i just feel like he's a guy, but not a man. masculine in some ways, definently not in others. pansexual because they genuinely do not care about your gender, he's just helpessly attracted to you no matter what.

celci - bisexual, transfem, she/her. literally blue hair and pronouns and i love her. definently realized she was bi when watching pirates of the caribbean.

gunther - polysexual, transmasc, he/him. completing the holy trinity of m-spec invincible II members. you've heard of be gay, do crime, now get ready for be trans, throw hands.

burt - aroace, male, any pronouns. i feel like burt genuinely does not care what you refer to him as.

mack/theory crew - questioning, libramasc, he/him. closer to male than other genders, but still slightly different. the only invincible II crew member to not really be open about his sexuality, mostly because he's still figuring it out (the captain had to give him a whole 'it's totally fine if no existing label fits you, and you shouldn't feel rushed to figure out your own identity' talk)

lady/allu minium - sapphic, non-binary, they/she/xe. found out about gender when researching human culture, and was both excited that some of the labels fit them, but also mildly confused. "wait, humans have specific words for all of those things? but they're just normal personal stuff, why do you need words for those things?" (mark had to teach her why labels for different gender identities and sexualities exist. xe was less than charmed to find out queerphobia is a thing.)

bandit - bisexual, demigirl, she/they. believe it or not, she's actually had to pretend to be a human quite a few times when on the run, so the way humans identify is nothing new to them.

wug - unlabeled, pangender, all pronouns. there are multiple wugs, and it's shown that they can have preferred pronouns (e.g. that one wug who goes by she/her), but i think the wug we interact with the most feels perfectly fine being seen as any and all human genders.

INTERVIEW: SHIVER, FRYE, AND BIG MAN OF DEEP CUT WILL STEAL YOUR HEART

Whether you’re tuning in to the Anarchy Splatcast or boppin’ to the beat during a Splatfest, sooner or later you’ll catch sight of Deep Cut. This tricky trio—composed of Shiver, Frye, and Big Man—has taken the Splatlands by storm. We sat down with the group for an ink-lightening chat about how they came together, how they wrote their hit anthem “Anarchy Rainbow,” and more.

Who is Deep Cut?

A unit based in the Splatlands composed of Shiver, Frye, and Big Man. Each of their unique voices and dances become a trinity, engulfing those who see it into whirling waves of chaos. After being selected as the hosts of Anarchy Splatcast, they have been gaining popularity among the younger generation.

The three of you have really settled in as hosts of the Anarchy Splatcast, haven’t you?

Shiver: Well, thank you! We couldn’t have done it without our adoring fans.

Frye: Hah! If you ask me, Shiver and Big Man could still loosen up a bit. Improv some, y’know?

Big Man: Ay… (Frye, that isn’t in the script…)

I know you all have a lot of history together. Didn’t your families get together frequently when you were growing up? Have you all been friends since childhood?

Big Man: Ay. Ay? Ay. (I wouldn’t say friends. Friendly? We knew each other. We knew OF each other.)

Shiver: It’s true. We sort of just said “hi” in passing.

Frye: I don’t know about y’all, but I was WAY too busy with dance lessons and eel training and stuff like that to have, like, real friends.

Shiver: But you used to sneak out all the time!

Huh! I guess my research failed me. I thought you were all lifelong friends.

Frye: Well, we did start to become close around middle school or so. Right?

Shiver: Yeah, that’s right. Frye and I were in the same class, and I could tell that she was a little bit wild, a little bit reckless. I sort of looked after her.

Frye: Y-you? Looked after ME? If anything, it was the other way around!

Well, at some point, you must have started to mesh.

Frye: Oh yeah. We bonded over music. We used to literally sing from the school rooftop!

Shiver: Right! We used to belt out Calamari Inkantation from up there. You know that one, don’t you? It goes, "Buh, duh-dee, dah-dee, buh-duh-dah-dee-dah...”

Frye: C’mon, everyone knows that one. But yeah, that’s when we realized that a cappella wasn’t going to cut it.

Shiver: We knew Big Man a little bit, and I heard he was good on piano. So we asked him to see what he could do with the track.

Big Man: Ay. Ay! (I was so nervous. I thought you wanted to fight me, or something!)

Shiver: What?!

Big Man: Ay! (I’m nervous again!)

Well, you were “discovered” a few years later, and the rest is history. Now you’re the face of Splatfests in Splatsville!

Frye: We’re the face of Splatfests AND banditing. If there’s loot to be looted, we’ll loot it!

Sorry—what’s this “loot” you speak of?

Big Man: Ay. (Oh, she’s obsessed with this particular card game. She has to have all the cards.)

Shiver: Um, this interview is going off the rails. Can we refocus?

Of course—my apologies. Let me ask you about the song Anarchy Rainbow. You performed it at a recent Splatfest, didn’t you? Big Man, I know you do a lot of composition. Was that one that you wrote?

Big Man: Ay! Ay. (Actually, the inspiration for that song came from Frye! We were eating at a food cart when she looked up, mouth FULL of okonomiyaki, and shouted, “I’m a genius!”)

Frye: Yep! I figured out that if you stack the okonomiyaki and put the pickles on top—

Big Man: Ay! Ay! (No, not the part about the okonomiyaki stack! The idea you had for combining the traditional school songs and dances into something new!)

Frye: I’m getting there! Yeesh!

I think I get it! You stacked the different types of music together like okonomiyaki, and the different “flavors” combined to make something new and delicious. It’s a wonderful concept, but was it challenging to execute?

Big Man: Ay! Ay. (It was! Each school uses different instrumentation and techniques. Bringing them together into a cohesive sound took about six weeks or so.)

Shiver: You should’ve seen Big Man at the end. Dried up like an uncooked lasagna noodle.

Big Man: Ay! (You’re the one who sent me back to the drawing board seven times!)

Shiver: Well, that’s what made it good, right? Your music and lyrics may have had a little bit to do with it as well.

Frye: Don’t forget the demo that Big Man made! I can’t believe he could still sing like that when he was all dried out.

Big Man recorded the demo?

Shiver: He did. But he knew that me and Frye would put our own spin on it in terms of singing.

Frye: Do I have to be the one to tell ‘em that I wrote the rap part and came up with the title?!

Now, Deep Cut is obviously one of a kind. But have you taken inspiration from any other artists out there today?

Big Man: Ay! Ay. (Of course! I’m a big fan of Front Roe—you can learn a lot from them. And C-Side has been making great music for a long time.)

Shiver: We even covered their big hit “Now or Never”!

Front Roe and C-Side... Yeah, I think I can hear the influence!

Big Man: Ay. Ay. (We listen to everything though. Right now I’m really into this one DJ from Inkopolis.)

Frye: Did I hear Inkopolis?

Big Man: Ay! (Eep!)

We’re almost out of time, but before we wrap up...what’s next for Deep Cut?

Big Man: Ay. Ay. (Well, we’re still trying to hype up the Anarchy Splatcast. I feel like we’re just getting started.)

Frye: I just want to write more anthems for Splatfests!

Shiver: They can’t all be anthems, Frye. Maybe we should write a ballad for everyone who participates. A battle ballad!

Summer WIP tag game!

1) Describe one creative WIP project you’re planning to work on over the summer.

I am working on a trilogy of novel-length fics called Wives of Shor (WIP snippet here: Moth to Flame.) It's a fic that started out as a pastiche of bodice-ripper romances starring Kaidan and Lucien Flavius getting sex-pollened by Sanguine, but it has become a tale about loving someone from an entirely different background than you, having a crisis of faith, and learning how to move on and live a good life when you've done unspeakably terrible things in the past.

I'm planning on having the entire first novel written out + at least most of first drafts of the second and third before beginning to post, so it will be awhile.

OK the game says one but screw that here's some other WIPs I'd like to chip away at, even if they aren't my highest priority:

A Wives of Shor prequel that explains why Lucien only made it to Falkreath before deciding that he REALLY needed some protection on the road.

A fic that explains why there's a bandit trapped in a hay bale in Swindler's Den when a) hay bales require industrial machinery to produce and b) who the hell was baling hay inside a cave. It will also explore the character of Ennis, the goat farmer in Rorikstead, and his relationships with other characters from Rorikstead.

Because I Could Not Stop for Death a short-ish novella that explores how Thane Bryling navigates the transition of being ruled by High King Torygg to his young bride, Elisif the Fair. It was inspired after I noticed that the Holy 80s High School Movie Girl Trinity of Jock-Prep-Goth was present in Bryling, Elisif, and Sybille Stentor. (Yes, all the chapter titles are Emily Dickinson poems ha ha)

I'd really like to get the full summary/outline of a fic my friend TheInducer and I yes-anded into existence. It involves a retelling of the Odyssey by way of Mor Khazgur needing to find a new Chief after theirs went missing. TheInducer did a great write-up on the theory we came up with on r/teslore: Durak is (probably) from Mor Khazgur.

And of course, I continue to hope I will be seized once again by the fit of utter depravity that caused me to write 2K words of Sanguine/Hermaeus Mora tentacle porn a few months ago called La☆Blue Daedra so I can actually finish it and inflict it on the rest of fandom.

2) Rec a book:

The Search for Delicious by Natalie Babbitt. Her first novel is often overlooked by more celebrated/literary ones like Tuck Everlasting but to me this book is the quintessential fantasy story, and it's a very fast read without sacrificing vivid world building and descriptions. Here's my favorite, I think about it whenever I'm struggling with trying to describe something:

There was a lovely greenish glow in the forest, a glow pierced everywhere by tree trunks like fingers thrust into an aquarium full of tinted water; and Gaylen slipped between them like a small fish. With the trees all around him and the rain dancing on the leaves high over his head, he felt as if he were going deeper and deeper into a world that existed tranquil and quite separate from the one he had left behind.

3) Rec a fic:

I have an entire bookmark collection of The Elder Scrolls fic recs!

If I must pick one for this tag game, it would be Like Lightning by Jotting Prosaist. This fic single-handedly changed my opinion on 2nd person POV. It's absolutely masterful and I couldn't imagine experiencing the story it tells any other way. Mind the warnings, it goes to some very raw places.

4) Rec music:

Uh, my musical taste is...eclectic. I guess right now I've been on an early European music and metal kick, so I guess Corvus Corax fits the bill.

5) Share one piece of advice.

Floss daily, check your fire extinguishers and smoke alarms twice a year.

Character Introduction: Manor/Cavalier Cove Residents

WIP: Roleplay characters, but a lot of them have WIP canon versions or appear in my WIPS as cameos.

All of these characters live in or around the Manor in Cavalier Cove, a collaborative liminal space roleplay world shared by me and a whole bunch of others. I’m not going to try and tag them all because I will most likely forget someone. They’ll see this though; I know most of them follow this blog.

Cavalier Cove, as mentioned above, is a liminal space in the form of a coastal town in some undefined region, and as a result it is a very strange place to live. Supernatural creatures walk around in broad daylight and many of the people living there are actually from other worlds. Just outside of the town proper is the Manor, which to outsiders looks to be abandoned. Inside, however, there is a whole group of people living there. They are, unknown to all of them, watched over and protected by a group of supernaturals who call themselves the Founders. The Founders have never revealed themselves to the residents, and as a result most of the Manor residents just assume the Manor is living, or that the strange things that happen there are the result of a singular source of magic.

Casey “Creek” Strader (nee Beck): Creek has had a hell of a life. All of her troubles started when she was possessed by the demon known as Red. Another demon, named Illyria, then also possessed her in an attempt to save her from Red, which sort of just made things worse. Creek was forced to flee from her hometown after Red took control and killed a few people. Eventually, she was un-possessed, but almost immediately after that, the eldritch entity known as Forest started influencing her, and then possessed her, which sparked an event that we call the Eldritch War between Forest and the Forsaken, an entity who is possessing Creek’s friend Alice (owned by @divine-champion​). Alice ended up killing Creek, which slingshotted Forest out of her, but she has been left with a black sclera in her remaining eye and an inability to die. While at the Manor, she met Derek Strader and ended up falling in love with him. Thus far, they have adopted three children, a former phoenix named Fey, a werephoenix named Rilan, and an undead phoenix named Jocyn (all owned by @nebula-starlight​ ).

Evan Forrester: Creek’s best friend, he tracked her down after she fled from their hometown, convinced that she was innocent of murder. He is insanely smart and extremely adept at anything involving technology, almost to a supernatural level. When he arrived at the Manor, he had no idea what he was getting himself into. He met a demon by the name of Maribel (owned by @divine-champion​ ) and they ended up falling in love, and he ended up pseudo-adopting a qualit (a dragon-like species created by @nebula-starlight​ ) named Vipro. At one point, he and Creek were kidnapped and experimented on, which resulted in him losing his right hand (also the incident which took Creek’s right eye), which Vipro replaced with a functional permafrost prosthetic of sorts. He has almost died on at least five separate occasions, but that doesn’t stop him.

Lucent “Mallory Perrault” Ran’kai: You can read her WIP canon blurb here. In the CC roleplay timeline, she accidentally opened a portal in the forest outside the Manor and ended up falling from the sky. Wanting to hide from the other dimension jumpers for a bit, she decided to stay at the Manor for a while. Here, she ended up meeting Cascadia, a Nyrix from the world of Valymis (owned by @eldritchnebula​ ). After discovering that Cascadia had just escaped from some bandits who had captured her, Mallory took it upon herself to help. This adventure took her to Valymis and gained her an adoptive daughter named Trinity. Her best friend Alonya and her pet skitnik (basically if weasels were interdimensional nuisances made into a unique species) Jannik are also at the Manor with her.

Lysanna Payne: A Winter Court fae who fled from Faerie and ended up as one of the Founders of the Manor. Her past is a mystery to most everyone except for a couple of the other Founders, and she refuses to speak of it. She maintains the mental ward, an area of the Manor meant for keeping various villains or residents who become a danger to others and/or themselves contained, and oversees everything related to that sort of stuff. She has a distinct set of abilities revolving around mental manipulation, which she uses to try and help the traumatized residents heal. She is no-nonsense, blunt, and more than willing to force you to take care of yourself.

Illyria: After possessing Creek, she dubbed herself Creek’s personal protector, and after being separated from Creek and given her own body, Illyria decided to stay at the Manor. She was also fast friends with a qualit named Nether, but was forced to let him die when he ended up being driven insane and became a threat to the Manor as a whole. She ended up pseudo-adopting Nether’s son and Vipro’s twin Talno. While at the Manor, she was also reunited with her lost mate Essix, and together they have three children: Seraiah, Brine, and Nevena. She also has a WIP canon version, but no intro has been written for that set of characters yet. It will be linked when I do.

Red: The cause of about 50% of Creek and Illyria’s problems, Red wants nothing more than to gleefully murder everyone she encounters, and she finds it’s more fun when she is possessing someone else and making them do it. When not possessing someone, she often takes the form of a massive ginger cat with yellow eyes. No one in the Manor likes her, and after she was forcibly separated from Creek, it was thought that she was gone for good. But the cat always comes back, doesn’t it? Red is also in a good chunk of my WIPs, but her character introduction has yet to be posted. I will link it here when it has been.

Pyre Blight: Pyre is a Duus’ire, a glitch demon species created by @eldritchnebula​ . They were created when some servers glitched due to a forest fire. They are more than a little obsessed with fire and are a general menace to their “brother” Arcade, a Duus’ire who has tasked himself with overseeing many of his fellow Duus’ire siblings.

Quinn Thalin: Quinn is an Everlight, a being that feeds on electricity and is some wacky embodiment of light. He’s a bit of an airhead and is oftentimes more focused on whatever weird experiment he’s thought up than anything else. He is never far from his Shadowcaster counterpart Theo, and is often the ray of sunshine to Theo’s grumpy pessimist.

Theo Raidus: Actually a shrika who has replaced a Shadowcaster, the counterpart to an Everlight. The shrika took on Theo’s name after switching with him, and thus far has successfully masqueraded as the dead Shadowcaster. Unfortunately for him, he has become very attached to Theo’s friends and has started to embrace Theo’s life. He’s moody and unpredictable, but Shadowcasters usually attach themselves to an Everlight (all light sources cast a shadow, and Shadowcasters are beings of shadow at their core), and predictably, Theo is never found far from Quinn.

Ian Wright: Wright is a Machination, a person who was forcibly converted into a clockwork cyborg and essentially sold into slavery. After being sold to someone from Cavalier Cove, Wright escaped and stumbled upon the Manor. He struggles to see himself as anything more than an abomination, and he struggles to see himself as someone with agency and free will.

Christine “Chris” Hardwell: Chris is a werewolf who was born and raised in Cavalier Cove. She’s always been content working at the dog pound and she even considers the dogs there her pseudo-pack, but lately she’s been catching the scent of an unfamiliar werewolf, and the scent seems to be coming from the dilapidated Manor on the other side of the forest. Her insatiable curiosity and burning desire to know everything going on around her lead her to investigating the Manor.

Devil’s minion Armand loved blade runner and time bandits, but do you think there’s any newer movies or just ones he found out about later that he took a liking too? And of course i have to bring Daniel into this so what are some of your movie hcs for him?

Oh man, I think Armand is someone who will watch just about anything, but specifically-

-Weird A24 movies, the more psychological and shocking the better. He's 500 years old so he's got a high bar for being surprised, and I think stuff like the Lighthouse would really grab him. It's weird, it's homoerotic, it has undertones of greek mythology he can explain at Daniel. He's into it.

-All those period pieces that came out in the 90s/early 2000s. Daniel finds watching them with him insufferable because Armand sits there and picks at the inaccuracies ("Paris was hardly ever so clean, and no one wore snow white wigs in such a fashion-" "Yeah, yeah, I get it, the costumes suck, we've been over this a thousand fucking times"). But his nitpicking is just a cover to keep it from being obvious that even he is weak for a good Mr. Darcy declaration of love.

-He loves a modern retelling of a classic. Baz Lurhmann's Romeo + Juliet? He was obsessed, seeing Shakespeare molded into something which a modern audience could identify with thrilled him. 10 Things I Hate About You? Daniel spent hours listening to how it was a retelling of Taming of the Shrew. Clueless? "Daniel, did you realize this is based on a Jane Austen novel which was quite popular when it debuted-" "Armand there's literally a thousand articles on the internet pointing that out."

(Lestat joins them on modern Shakespeare nights, much to their mutual delight, and commentates through the entire film)

-He's still a sci-fi fan, he likes things that explore technology humans have yet to develop. He spent time watching Star Trek with Daniel in the 70s and got tickets to the premiere of Star Trek Beyond for him and Daniel in 2016.

-Both of them are Cronenberg weirdos, it's just facts. Videodrome? Crash? The Brood? Dead Ringers? They're into his psychosexual weirdness.

-Daniel specifically enjoys film adaptations of books, for better or worse. Kubrick's The Shining he had mixed feelings on (they changed the ending!!), Lord of the Rings he read as a child and he loved the film version. The Hobbit? Hated. Too much CGI, his vampire senses make CGI so obvious and he'll always prefer a film with practical effects. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas? Solid, very fun.

-The sap in Daniel likes movies where the protagonist falls for the monster. The Shape of Water? Edward Scissorhands? He can relate.

-Daniel also has a secret thing for watching vampire movies, the worse the better. He and Lestat had an excellent night in which they drank off some very inebriated club goers, put Twilight on at Trinity Gate and spent the night howling at vampires that sparkle in the sun.

-Pretty much he's in the same stuff as Armand, but Armand has a stronger stomach for horror than him. Put on a Junji Ito movie or something gratuitously painful like Saw and Daniel is tapping out, sorry.
