Jesus as the Eternal God: Responding to Life After Ministry - "BOM: Jesus is God"
Critics consistently present information that causes misunderstandings of Latter-day Saint teachings. Specifically, they tend to confuse LDS understanding of Christ and His divinity. They often claim contradictions between the Bible, the Book of Mormon, and LDS teaching. The clear truth – the harmony affirms Jesus as the Eternal God and yet the Son of the Living God subordinate to the…

If not, here's a quick breakdown: Bud Spencer & Terence Hill are iconic figures in film, known for their comedic action sequences and over the top antics. And now, they've returned in a digital sequel that promises even more slapstick humor and action. At its core, Slaps and Beans 2 is an interactive adventure full of wacky stories and comical fights. But unlike other pixel-based action titles, this one wears its film influence proudly. The entire games feels like you are part one of Bud and Terence's classic movies. There's also a zany storyline, unexpected plot turns, and, of course, a lot of slapstick combat. Speaking of combat, Slaps and Beans 2 brings upgrades to the mechanics. Both Bud Spencer & Terence Hill, the heroes, have their own unique abilities and power-ups. Due to let players strategize how they tackle various scenarios. The Slaps and Beans 2 setting interaction is another standout feature. Almost everything around can be used as a tool to fend off enemies. From bananas to broomsticks, creativity is rewarded, making fights feel dynamic and engaging.

youtube
While solo adventurers can dive into the story themselves. There's also a 2-player co-op mode in Slaps and Beans 2 for those who prefer teaming up with a friend. This mode heightens the fun and showcases the bond between Bud and Terence. But the fun doesn't stop there. Beyond the main Slaps and Beans 2 storyline, which is also narrated in four languages (English, German, Italian, and Spanish). There's a dedicated party mode. Graphically, Slaps and Beans 2 stands out with its detailed hand-drawn pixel art. It's a nostalgic nod to classic games while still feeling modern. Plus, the music, composed by Oliver Onions (who worked on the original movies), adds another layer to the title. The melodies sync perfectly with the on-screen chaos. In summary, Slaps and Beans 2 is a fusion of cinematic charm and interactive fun. It's a a chance to step into the shoes of two cinematic legends and experience their humor packed world firsthand. Whether you're a fan of their films or someone looking for a unique action title, this digital adventure delivers on all fronts. Along with support for Linux, Mac, and Windows PC on Steam. #DailyDevotion The Trinity In The Old Testament
Tumblr media
#DailyDevotion The Trinity In The Old Testament Gen 11:5-9 5The LORD came down to see the city and the tower the people built. 6“Look, one people!" the LORD said. “And they all speak one language. And this is only the beginning of what they'll do. Now nothing they plan to do will be too hard for them. 7Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, so that they won't understand one another.” 8So the LORD scattered them from there all over the earth, and they had to stop building the city. 9This is why it was called Babylon, because the LORD there made a babble of the language of the whole world. And from that place the LORD scattered them all over the earth. I believe this is one of those instances where God is just trying to communicate something to us just so we can understand it. What I mean is in verse five there is no need for the Lord to come down and see what we are doing. The Lord is omniscient: He knows all things. So why does the Lord report this to us in this fashion? Well for one you can grasp with the name of God being present here, the LORD, i.e. YHWH. In the Old Testament, generally, when the text uses the divine name, God is getting up and personal with us. So in the garden, the LORD knew what Adam had done, but He is getting personal with Adam. So too here, God wants us to know that He is not just some impersonal deity up there somewhere, but he is a God who is intimately involved with humanity. Now the people had a unity of language and purpose. While it would be nice if we were all united, if we are united in purpose antithetical to the Lord’s purpose for us, that would not be a good thing. Here, man was united to a purpose antithetical to God’s will. It was engaged towards pride and circumventing man taking dominion over the earth under God. Some have taught that they were building it to escape in case the Lord decided to flood the earth again. If true, that would demonstrate a. they didn’t trust the Lord’s promise and b. they forgot the Lord flooded the earth above the mountains. The text doesn’t say that so that is just pious speculation. So that their plans were frustrated the Lord went down and confused their language and well, that’s why we have so many languages today. But note this important nugget here in the text. The LORD says, “Let us go down…” Did you see that? Now He said something similar here, Gen 1:26  Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” and again, Gen 3:22 Then the LORD God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil.” Who is this us? It is not the angels. Man is not made in the image and likeness of angels. No, this is the divine Trinity, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Now the Lord is one. The Father is Lord. The Son is Lord. The Holy Spirit is Lord. But there are not three Lords but one Lord. Each distinct person is Lord and yet there is only one Lord. Man was supposed to be one in and under the Lord. Marriage is an image of that oneness where husband and wife are one flesh. That oneness was to extend over all humanity in the Lord. But sin broke up that oneness. However now in Jesus Christ, the Lord, the Lord is bringing back that oneness that was meant to be in Himself. Paul says, Eph 4:4-6 “There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call—  (5)  one Lord, one faith, one baptism,  (6)  one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” He also says, 1Co 6:17 “But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him.” So now, through faith in Christ Jesus we are one with one another, one with Christ and one with God; God in us and us in God. While we cannot see it now, we believe and confess it to be true because the Lord has said as much and we will see its fruition on the Last Day. O Almighty Lord, You confused our languages because of our unity in sinfulness but now in these last days, You call us to be one again, with one another and with You through faith in Christ Jesus. Heal all our sad divisions in the body of Christ and unite us all as one on the day of Jesus’ revelation. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. Read the full article

The ONE Who DANCES Alone: The Eternal UNITY Unveiled
What if God’s oneness is a solitude so vast it thunders with life, a unity so singular it hums with three? The Old Testament roars of a God alone, unique beyond measure, yet within its echoes resounds a plurality no doubter can mute. This is no mere theology—it’s a cosmic unveiling, a prism of light splitting one into three without breaking, a note of eternity that sings in trio. From Sinai’s…

UNITY OF THE CHURCH MATTERS! | Thesis # 17
I was inspired to write this next thesis at this time in light of current events. We are living in a wonderful time where Jesus’ church is coming together. Even amidst trial and tragedy, we have an amazing opportunity to draw close, to honor and love one another.
Jesus said, “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.” (John 17:22-23)
By the Finished Work of Jesus Christ, we have already been made one! We are not striving toward oneness, we already have it, inwardly, mystically, ontologically, objectively and actually! We are all in Christ. This is wildly relevant good news!
And, Jesus prayed that we would experience this. Paul confirms that this prayer will also be realized! (Ephesians 4:13) So, have no fear, we will experience what is ours in Christ!
It matters deeply to our Beloved Trinity that we come to live in unity. This is going to be our greatest evangelism. Unified love is the highest and most powerful miracle of all!
As I write this, we have just celebrated Easter in the year 2025. Not only was this one of the rare occasions where the Eastern and Western churches celebrated resurrection Sunday on the same day, this was also the 1700th anniversary of the Nicene Creed. What’s more is, as we stand today, church leaders globally are moving more and more toward embracing one another!
Many of us reading this have also heard that Pope Francis just passed away this week as well. And, sadly, I watched as so many people spewed hate after the death of the Pope; actual hate… from Christians. Unfortunately, that is also not surprising. There is still a lot of anti-catholic sentiment, some of which is understandable. We have all had blemishes some bigger, some smaller. We are all still included, though boundaries may be needed for some seasons.
But, I also saw many folks across denominational lines thanking God for Francis, and honoring his legacy. I have also read posts from all corners of the Body of Christ praying for the Roman Catholic church as they grieve and begin the process of electing a new pope. (Not that I’m a big proponent of the concept of popes, but this is where we are at.)
Many of us may not realize how much Pope Francis, as well as leaders across the entire globe, have been moving toward a unity and a coming together among the Body of Christ. (And, I do see the entirety of humanity included in the Body, though many are not yet consciously participating. Wink wink.)
Francis said this, "Only a love that becomes gratuitous service, only the love that Jesus taught and embodied, will bring separated Christians closer to one another. Only that love, which does not appeal to the past in order to remain aloof or to point a finger, only that love which in God's name puts our brothers and sisters before the ironclad defense of our own religious structures, will unite us."
Pope Francis, after officially being elected as pope, would refer to himself as “Bishop of Rome,” rather than “Pope,” in a sign of recognition of the Eastern Orthodox Patriarchates. He also re-affirmed the idea of bringing East & West celebration of Easter back to the same day on whatever day they could agree upon. It seems almost like a sign that Francis fell asleep the day after the calendars “just happened” to align on Easter 2025.
Strides are being made in many ways across the world toward an outward and tangible experience of the unity that we have in Jesus.
Eastern Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomew I of Constantinople has also recently said that the divisions between East and West "are not insurmountable." "Of course, problems have accumulated over a thousand years. But we are full of hope that they will be resolved in a few years," he said.
Wow! A few years! Do we dare to believe for this?
Another quote from Patriarch Bartholomew, “The highest model is the unity that joins the Most Holy Trinity where the Father is Himself because He is not the Son; the Son is Himself because He is not the Father; but the love that there is between the Father and the Son generates none other than the Holy Spirit who is the Third in this Trinitarian dimension, but is also the First since He links the Father and the Son. And this can happen because each of the Three Divine Persons of the Most Holy Trinity completely loses Himself in the other. This is precisely what is required for the Church’s journey; that is, that each one be able to completely lose himself in the other church; which means being able to reach all the way down to the bottom of one’s own richness and give it all to the other, to the others. Therefore, it requires knowing how to be love in order to build that Church of Christ in which each Christian, no matter what Christian community they belong to, feels like a sharer in the Body of Christ.”
This is powerful stuff! And, I absolutely love how Bartholomew sources our unity to the Trinity, Themself! As we behold and partake of Their love, how could we not come to an actual unity with one another? It is already ours! We are in Trinity and Trinity is in us!
Karl Barth said it this way, “You are right to tell me that much of the route to the unity of the church is laid when we come together again in love. Being the friend of many Roman Catholic theologians, I add that I am happy to affirm that in truth as well we have come closer on both sides than could ever have been imagined fifty years ago. One thing is certain: the more both your theology and ours concentrate on the person and work of Jesus Christ, true God and true man, our sovereign Lord and only Savior, the more we shall find ourselves already united in spite of some important differences. Do you not also think the day will one day come when we shall no longer speak of Roman Catholic and Protestant Christians but simply of Evangelical Christians forming one body and one people?”
I am calling us in this thesis to look again at the heart of Jesus! Behold how He loves! See who He is and what He’s done! In this we will find our barriers melted.
Does this mean we have to agree on everything in order to be unified? No. Love continues despite disagreement! We can partake of the Mystery together, even before we understand. This is why I personally think that taking the Lord’s table with anyone who would partake is a wonderful act of unity!
And, yet, the scriptures, the Spirit, and the early church are clear that doctrine does matter. We are going to eventually actually come to agreement on reality and truth in Christ! Wild to imagine, right?
“Until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” - Ephesians 4:13-16
There is an unknown quote that says, “In essentials, unity, in non-essentials, liberty, in all things, charity.”
We really need to stop excluding whole groups of people because their doctrine isn’t the same as ours.
Pope Francis said: "This question attempts to divide, to separate people into those we should love and those we should shun. This kind of division is never from God; it is from the devil."
And, yet, we thank God for the ways in which healthy doctrine has been preserved.
There are many conversations to be had around this one, and how it looks practically. But, during this time, may we honor those who have helped, and may we ourselves continue to move in the Spirit toward an outward manifestation of the unity of this Trinitarian life!

The Power of Unity in the Body of Christ
Psalm 133:1 declares, “How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!” This verse highlights the beauty and power of unity within the family of God. Jesus Himself, in His final prayer before going to the cross, prayed for His followers, saying, “I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one” (John 17:21, NLT). If unity was a central concern for Jesus, then…

What Is Mine: Understanding Jesus's Revelation of Truth
In John 16:13-15, Jesus gives a profound teaching about the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit, and His role in revealing divine truth. By repeating the phrase “what is Mine,” Jesus underscores the unity within the Trinity and the shared mission of glorifying God and communicating His truth to humanity. The Spirit of Truth: A Guide to All Truth Jesus begins by affirming the Holy Spirit’s role as…

The Trinity of Reality
Everything that exists embodies three inseparable aspects: it is simultaneously a unified whole, internally differentiated into parts, and externally related to greater wholes. This isn't merely a pattern we observe—it's fundamental to the very nature of being itself. Let's explore why this triple nature is necessary for anything to truly exist.
(By the way, this philosophy is not inspired or associated with the Holy Trinity. However, it relates to it, because my philosophy literally relates to everything.)
The Necessity of Triple Nature
Consider what it means for something to be "real." It must be:
1. A Whole (Unity)
- Everything that exists must have its own integral nature
- This unity makes it identifiable as a distinct entity
- Without unity, there would be no "things" at all, just fragmentation
2. Made of Parts (Internal Differentiation)
- Within each unity, there must be complexity and structure
- These parts aren't separate from the whole but are how it expresses itself
- Pure, undifferentiated unity would be mere abstraction, not real being
3. Part of Greater Wholes (External Relations)
- Nothing exists in isolation
- Each whole participates in larger systems and relationships
- These external relations help define what something is
- Without relations, nothing could interact or be known
The Logic of Being
You cannot remove any of these aspects without the thing ceasing to be:
- A unity with no internal differentiation would be pure abstraction
- Parts with no unity would be pure fragmentation
- A thing with no relations would be pure isolation (which is impossible)
This triple nature leads to profound implications about reality. Since everything must have all three aspects:
- Each whole must have parts (which are themselves wholes with parts)
- Each thing must be part of greater wholes (which are themselves parts of greater wholes)
This suggests either an infinite regression in both directions, or the existence of ultimate boundaries—an indivisible smallest part (perhaps consciousness or soul) and an all-encompassing greatest whole (perhaps divine mind).
Examples in Nature
This triple nature manifests at every level of reality:
A Human Being:
- Is a unified self with distinct identity
- Contains internal complexity (organs, thoughts, feelings)
- Exists within larger contexts (family, society, biosphere)
A Cell:
- Is a complete functional unit
- Contains internal structures (organelles, molecules)
- Functions within larger tissues and organisms
A Word:
- Has its own meaning and identity
- Contains letters and sounds
- Functions within sentences and language
Philosophical Implications
This understanding challenges both extreme reductionism (which focuses only on parts) and extreme holism (which focuses only on the whole). Reality requires both unity and differentiation, both individuality and relationship.
It also suggests that "being" isn't simple existence but requires true predication—there must be something we can say about a thing, properties it possesses, relations it maintains. Nothing can "just be" without being something in particular, with specific characteristics and relationships.
Conclusion
This triple nature of reality—unity, internal differentiation, and external relation—isn't just a helpful way to think about things. It's the very logic of being itself. Understanding this helps us grasp why things are the way they are, and why they couldn't be otherwise.
Whether we follow this logic to infinite regression or to ultimate boundaries (divine mind and soul), we cannot escape the fundamental truth that everything real must embody all three aspects. This insight offers a powerful framework for understanding the nature of reality and our place within it.

Ramayana No. 12: Caravan of Love: The Evolution of Divine Worship and the Universal Teachings of Compassion
In the spiritual journey of humanity, there has always been a deep yearning to connect with the divine. This connection has evolved across cultures and religions, shaping how people perceive and relate to the sacred. Two profound examples of this evolution can be found in Hinduism and Christianity, where the abstract, formless concept of the divine transformed into more personal, relatable…
