Why Alan couldn’t cut it-
Tumblr media
I’m not beating the “is obsessed with the 82’ novelization accusations, this is my 5th time reading it. In my defense it’s great and adds a lot of detail, anyways.
Tumblr media
The way it talks about Alan and his morals really struck me. They put him into a great contrast with Dillinger and even Flynn, who ultimately does good but is a bit looser when it comes to following rules. The paragraph says it better than I’m going to but his decision to go along with the break in plan comes simply because he feels what’s happening at ENCOM is wrong. Someone has to do something, Alan waits before acting himself sees if anyone attacks from a legal Avenue. A “someone will” attitude, because he has so much faith in others that he knows it’s not just him who will see a issue and want to do something about it. Not him but someone will… unfortunately we don’t live in a world with many “doers”. His decision to go along with the break in is a spur of the moment, he’s struck with sympathy for Flynn and his already existent frustration and sense of wrong. It’s probably one of the first times he doesn’t talk himself into backing down.
Tumblr media
Alan is a good man. A honest man and a hard worker who’s faith in others is a bit higher than they deserve. He’s a rarity! A honest, rule following businessman. That’s why he could never last at the top of ENCOM, in “the last day” short film and likely the Flynn lives campaign there’s a brief mention of Alan being a Temp CEO while Flynn was missing. This was a very brief period in the 90s that quickly saw him pushed back down onto the board and basically being expected to shut up. Almost a quite firing. He’s not cut out for the cutthroat corporate game - he’s good at deals and explaining what they do but that only gets you so far… I can also see why from a talk perspective. In the Paranoids online mini video he absolutely flounders until Lora swoops in to save him. He’s not exactly Flashy Kevin flynn who could go “woof” into the mic and make the crowd go wild.
Additionally I love how much this puts him into contrast with Tron. For all the things that make Alan weak in the business world are what make Tron the admirable chosen warrior, the noble hero, within the grid. Here all of the best aspects of Alan are commemorated. That honesty, faith and stalwart behavior are better suited for the mythical other world of fairytale endings. Good conquers evil, the MCP explodes and the end. In the real world? Good luck, good guys can’t seem to win anymore.

On my Discord recently, someone was attempting to pitch a crossover idea for The Amazing Digital Circus.
Crossovers are my thing, see, and I've made a small name for myself on Spacebattles jamming together wildly different franchises and somehow making them work.
And it's my opinion that The Amazing Digital Circus is incredibly insular. See, some settings are easy to work with; for Star Wars, all you've gotta do is say that your crossover setting of choice is on a random planet in the undiscovered regions. For Danny Phantom, he falls through a portal in the Zone and ends up somewhere else. Easy.
But TADC is entirely self-contained. It's a simulation inside an implied larger world, connected to between six and twenty people randomly distributed across that world (as far as we know).
But crossovers aren't impossible, and if you don't just want to stick to the method of having (Insert Character Here) put on the headset and forget everything that makes them themselves, here are a few settings the Circus could coexist with with minimal justification.
Sword Art Online
Five Nights at Freddy's (from Help Wanted onward)
That original Yu-Gi-Oh! storyline where they end up inside virtual reality for a bit
Wreck-It Ralph
(ugh) The Emoji Movie
TRON
Scooby-Doo (and the Cyber Chase, specifically)
ReBoot
That Kingdom Hearts game where the whole thing is a simulation for some reason
Code Lyoko
Digimon
And probably more. You'll notice these are all settings where there's cyberspace that people can actually physically visit, with the logic being that, as a computer, Caine might be able to connect with other computers and send the gang on adventures to them. Whether he's aware that these aren't part of his own game or not is author's choice.

Sound/wave feeding both Mega/tron and Shock/wave until they’re both left with big stuffed bellies, unable to concentrate on certain task due to being too full.
Mega/tron probably tries to eat more even tho he feels like his armor might pop off. Probably an attempt to get Sound/wave to silently praise him.
Meanwhile Shock/wave has been trying to focus on some documents before deciding it could wait for another day.
In the end, Sound/wave rubs their bellies and scold Mega/tron for forcing himself to eat too much. He definitely wraps a data-cable around their waist to see just how much more larger it got.
He probably also teasingly gropes their aft, thighs and sides, feeling his fingers dig into soft fat of his two lovers.

i am so curiious what the online component of gta6 will be like, cause rdo not having near the level of success, earning potential, and longevity, and lacking a lot of the well loved and wanted features of gta online, is kinda evidence they might not know How to capture that lightning in the bottle again.
Cause so many games have tried to get a bit of that success by apeing gta online, but failing to meet the basic criteria/missing what it was that made the game so dang successful, and instead starting out as an entirely online predatory nightmare live service.
#like gta online started as a fun online offshoot that had more than enough to do immediately on release#it had enough to PROVE that it was worth investing the time into#it was also - importantly - fucking FREE#it was a like relatively small additioinal aspect of a very solid single player game#that exploded because it just did so mmuch right#it still earns ludicrous amounts of money every year#but the ability to play only with friends - to not engage with other players you do'nt know - to have a bunch of premade mini game types#that functioned on top of the vast array of open world gameplay#off the bat it was a good option#and then bcause of its success they developed it mmore#from what i know/what i remember (so might well be wrong) they didn't plan to continue to develop content for it like they have#they didn't set out with a road map to making a game worth playing#in the hopes of stringing you along long enough for the sunk cost fallacy to kick in#even though it's not fun and not worth it#the game was immedately solid with its core gameplay#obviously they refined it#playing it on 360 when it was fresh out vs playing on pc a few years ago were definitely different quality experiences#but they were both a lot of fun#the game didn't set out with a decades long road map to the hover cars and tron bikes#it just made a solid game and then started thinkng 'what can we add to keep them interested?' afterwards#it didn't start out with the promise of being slowly finished over months and years all while costing you a contnuous amount of money#likke so mmany games trying to ape the success and vibe did#even RDO fucking sucks in comparison#maybe it improved#but the one time i itried it the forced multiplayer mission before going into the forced open access lobby - no private or friends only -#wound up with me getting called racial slurs over voice chat it turned on by default in game#and there just wasn't enough interesting gameplay like mini games and fun encounters#this is't inspired by anything im sure gta6 is coming and saw some speculation about it#imm not going to get it cause i don't care about them and unless the online is v good i wont bother#but im going to guess they'll fuck it up

The Dark Picture ~ Origins of the Ink Demon : Operation Drawcia Pt. 24 ~
[Inside Lain Iwakura's computer]
Solva : So this must be her computer. We gotta find the main source of whoever is linking with this data.
Lain A.I. : Beware any presence, and always remember check your password.
Solva : Relax, kid. I'm only social media, I got nothing prove useful to play computer games on the computer. But master told me that we mustn't share his master computer, it's highly secured and it can be only used once if give us permission to use it.
Lain A.I. : Personally, this is highly unstable to find that situation going on. Get a load of this.
Solva : What are you trying to see? (gasps in shock)
[Unrest - Hidenori Shoji]
Solva : What are heartless doing inside of your company? That's why you've been acting so strange?
Lain A.I. : Negative, I believe they're leaking some information about the Ink Demon's past, if they collect data from mine and Deathscythe's, Duo's robot will die.
Solva : Wait, Duo? That guy who pilots a giant robot, you creator is working with that Gundam Pilot. He's the star of smash-hit TV series Gundam Wing that Master Grim watched, you knew about this guy?
Lain A.I. : She was my creator's...well, umm, husbando for no reason, he's actually trying to take down some heartless who wanted to end DWMA, but he was wounded during battle with the Wired he just defeated and this Darkside Death heartless attempted to steal his heart and souls, so my creator rescued him in favor of saving his life. Trust, I won't forget that and I will always look after him.
Solva : Sounds like you saved someone's life after his original robot was obliterated in the show, So where did you kept Deathscythe Hell hidden, the upgraded version of his robot? Just don't forget, you had him at the facility on the east coast of Japan.
Lain A.I. : Thank you very much, Solva. I won't forget that.
Solva : You and your creator saved his life and he saved yours. Now then let's give these heartless to show them we mean business!
Lain A.I. : Right. I needed a weapon to come up with the solution. But I gained data to copy it.
[Cyber - Kenichi Tokoi, Fumie Kumatani]
Lain A.I. : Here goes. (uses Duo's data to create a replica of scythe)
Solva : Woah! You can copy data from others? No wait, share data with others! That's a pretty cool trick!
Lain A.I. : Hmph, precisely.
*SLASHING*
*DBZ SFX : SLICE*
Lain A.I : Huh, now you know why I was prepared to fight in Cyberspace.
Solva : HEY, WHAT PART ABOUT SHARING DATA WITH OTHERS I SAID, NOT COPY ONE'S DATA THAT ARE WEAPONS! Oh well, I guess it's double or nothing. You win some, you lose some.
*KICK*
Neoshadow : Ha! A little kid who uses data from others? She just another little pipsqueak to dealt with, I can take care of this harmless little...*SHING* !?
Lain A.I. : You were saying?
*DBZ SFX : SLASH+SLICE*
Neoshadow : (deathly grunts)
Lain A.I. : Nice try, but it'll take three seconds to take all on you down, but it's gonna be five seconds to start running before I'm gonna cut all of your damn heads off!
Solva : Okay, I think I'm getting this somewhere, but that's how you wanna play, (creates a scythe using data) I'll play it for you, real hard!
Lain A.I. : You ready to kick some heartless butt?
Solva : I am! It's about to get serious!
*DBZ SFX : SLASHING*
Solva : Ha! I never expected from a Cyberpunk girl, you a girl from the 90s ain't that different at all, I bet your creator had some mad skills to create you! Can you expose the truth about the secrets behind Soul Eater?
Lain A.I. : I would definitely expose Soul Eater's secrets, trying to leak into information to uncover the truth.
Solva : That's exactly what I was thinking! Anyway let's kill these bastards, with style!
"One hour of battling the heartless later..."
Solva : We gotta ditch these losers! There has to be a way to get there safely!
Lain A.I. : I hope you're guess is good as mine, Battling a bunch of heartless would be a waste of time, Time to activate denfesive barriers! (activates a barrier to surround the heartless, trapping them)
Solva : Smart thinking, kid! You sure got a defensive type in your system, kid?
Lain A.I. : Trust me, they won't last any seconds. They'll die by burning firewalls.
Solva : Firewalls? Are they really that strong, the heartless could be viruses, but when did you activate the Antivirus softwate?
Lain A.I. : I am an AI created by the same girl, but all of our copies of our selves.
Solva : Ehh, what? (solva is surrounded by a an army of Lain A.I.s)
Lain A.I. Clone : Hiya! (waving at Solva "hello?)
Solva : Heh. You never imagined, I was hoping that these guys were gonna go easy on a kid like you, but...not anymore.
Tron : Need any assistence for you, I could really use a help.
Solva : Look who it is, you're that Tron guy.
Tron : Why don't we team up with a third person to require any assistance? After all, we're programs destined to protect Data.
Lain A.I. : Looks you sure have good timing, of course I require any assistance, really would like a help with you!
Neoshadow : You two! I'm tired of playing games with a bunch little pipsqueaks like you all the time! Now then, I'm gonna go make you obsolete when I open a file of whoop-ass on the both of you!
(Tron throws his disc weapon to attack the heartless)
Neoshadow : !? (disappears)
Solva : That's a "Can of Whoop-ass" to you.
Lain A.I. : Hmph, they don't scare me, I scare them a lot too, you know. Nobody messes a little lady like me, I'm always one step closer to defend Duo's machine!
Sora : Tron!
Tron : Sora! Sorry you're a bit little late!
Sora : Easy time, easy doesn't. I'm Sora, you must be the girl working for the reaper. (firmly shake hands with Solva)
Solva : Solva, girl who works with Seto and primetime apprentice of Master Grim the Hedgehog.
Lain A.I. : And I am an A.I. of my creator, Lain Iwakura.
Sora : So I see you got on the same foot as always, just don't forget, I'm not the only kid whoever knows about hearts, but So do you, you help Seto to make herself the newly elected Shinigami. Seto, is one genius and she's a great athletic girl. You used to go the same school as you do back in our daily lives of school before we even dropped out.
Solva : I usually to be at school with Seto, even though we usually come on the same school-terms. Such as daily news read. I even think about originated from the Needless universe before Seto and I were isekai'd into Real World AU.
Sora : Really? That's great news to hear! Hear this in the game!
Solva : Yeah.
Neoshadow : You'll regret this, Girlie! Die now, p*ssy!
(A neoshadow attempts to assassinate her, but a FOmar kills it behind)
Solva : Woah! That dodged a bullet, I'm seeing things or I'm looking a randomly person in front of us?
Sora : Uhh, thanks?
Calus : No need to thank me, but I do appreciate your kind.
Sora : Gee. We would likely to know about you stranger, the name's Sora and what you're name?
Solva : Uhh, guys. I think I know who that is...
Lain AI : Oh no...Calus.
Solva : Calus? Calus who?
"Calus : FOmar of the Cybernetic World."
Calus : Perhaps I would do the talking for you. Where is Elly?
Solva : Elly? As in Elly the FOnewearl, she retired that class and had to go on to be a mission operator to EP2. I hate to break it to ya, but Elly's just--
*rumbling*
Calus : No! You give me Elly, now!
Solva : Okay! Okay! Please, don't do that anymore! Are you trying to kill us!? Elly Person's coming to meet you at Gal Da Val islands, but I believe that a girl named Maka is coming to the central Control tower to meet her sister! She's dealing with some kind of machine that no one would beat it!
Calus : Wise decision, I'll meet with that girl outside this cybernetic prison of mine. Show me the way.

If KOSA passes
Or if any other form of censorship (there are many in the works!) ever succeeds at stepping in to impede our ability to communicate online:
We have to make plans.
Tumblr media
Now, I dunno who'll even see this post. The few followers I have are TRON fans (who despite the fantasy we live in, tend to have realistically dismal views IRL about Disney and the various corporate uses of software).
And this fandom, on average, is pretty tech-savvy. It's where I've encountered the most people under 20 years old who actually know how to use a desktop or laptop computer.
So, if there's any hope for what I'm thinking about, this is prolly a good place to start with it.
(As with all my posts, I encourage reblogging and containment-breaching.)
(Gifs are clips from TRON 1982, mainly the "deleted love scene," from the DVD extras.)
Anyway.
Current society has moved online communication much too far onto major social media sites for my comfort. Whoever you communicate with over the internet, chances are you do it through a service owned by a big company: Tumblr, Twitter, Discord, Telegram, Facebook, whatever. Even TikTok (shudder).
These sites, despite their many flaws, can provide experiences that are valuable and hard to get otherwise. And once all your friends are on one site, you can't just leave and stay in touch with them all, not unless they all go the same place. It's easy to see why it's hard to abandon any social media platform.
But a backup plan is important. Because, as we've seen over and over, social media sites can't be relied on. They change their policies suddenly, without good reason-- and are inconsistent, even discriminatory, about enforcing those policies.
If they're funded by ads, the advertisers are their main customers, and your posts are the product. Their goal is that the posts most valuable to the advertisers get seen by people the advertisers consider desirable customers.
Helping you communicate-- making your posts get seen by the people you want to communicate with-- is optional to them.
Not to mention that the whole business model of an ad-funded website is generally unsustainable. Many of these sites are operating at a loss, relying on shareholders in a fragile bubble, doomed to fail soon just from lack of real profit.
And the more restrictions --like KOSA-- that the law puts on freedom of online speech, the likelier they are to go down or just become unusable. Every rule a site is required to follow is another strain on its resources, and most of them are already failing badly at even enforcing their own self-imposed rules.
If we want any control over our continued ability to stay in touch with our online friends-- we need to have a backup plan. Maybe it'll be simple at first, a bare-bones system we cobble together-- but it's gotta be something that will work. For a while at least.
Tumblr media
There are lots of really good posts about ways to build your own website, using a service like Neocities. I VERY MUCH recommend learning this skill-- learning to make websites of the very simplest, most stable, glitch-resistant type, made of html pages-- which you can upload to a host while you store backups on your home computer. If you value the writing and art that you put online, this is probably the safest you can keep it.
But that's for making your own creative work public.
As for communicating with others-- for example, receiving and answering other people's comments on your work-- that gets more complex. I personally haven't found it worthwhile to troubleshoot the problems that come with having a system that allows visitors to comment publicly on my website.
But what we do still have-- and likely will for a long time-- is email.
Those of us who came of age before social media's current hold... well, we might take this for granted. Email was the first form of online contact we ever encountered… and thus it can seem to us like the most ordinary, the most boring.
But in the current world, it is a rare and precious thing to find a method of communicating that doesn't require everyone in the chat to be signed on with the same corporation.
Tumblr media
Email is, as of now, still perfectly legal-- as much as social media companies have been trying to herd the populace away from it. I'm sure there are other ways to share thoughts online that are not bound by laws. But I am not going to go into that here.
Email service is provided by law-abiding companies, which will comply with subpoenas if law enforcement thinks you are emailing about doing illegal things. So, email is not a surefire way to be safe, if laws become dystopian enough to threaten your freedom to talk about your own life and identity.
But it's safer than posting on a public social media page.
For now.
Tumblr media
Email is beautifully decentralized. You can get an email address many different ways-- some reliant on a company like Gmail, others hosted on your own domain. And different people, with all different types of email addresses, hosted in all different ways-- can all communicate together by the same method.
Of course any of these people, individually, can lose their email address for some reason or other, and have to get a new one. But as long as they still know the email addresses of their contacts, they can reconnect and recover from that loss. The structure of a group linked by email is reliant not on a single company-- but on the group itself, the friends you can actually count on.
Tumblr media
This is why I am trying to promote the idea of forming email lists, as a backup plan to give people a way to stay in touch as mainstream social media sites prove to be unsustainable.
I'm envisioning a simple system of sending emails to several addresses at once, and making each reply visible to everyone in the chat by using "reply all" (or, if desired, editing the To field to reply to only some).
If enough people get used to using email in this way, it could fill most of the needs met by any other group chat or forum …without depending on a centralized social media company that's taking dystopian measures to try and make the business profitable.
So here are some thoughts about how I personally imagine it could work.
(Feel free to comment and bring up any thoughts I haven't addressed, or suggestions to customize how specific groups could set it up. This is meant as more of a starting point for brainstorming than a catch-all solution.)
As I see it, here are the basics of what you and your friends would each need to start out:
An email address. Any kind, hosted anywhere. You should use a dedicated email account just for this group, one that you do NOT use for other communication. Being in this group will result in things you don't want happening to your main email address-- like getting a TON of email, one for every post and reply. Or someone could get your email address that you really don't want any contact with. Use a burner email account (one that you can easily replace) and change it if needed.
The knowledge of how to "REPLY ALL" in your email. This will be necessary in order to add a comment that everyone in the group can see.
The knowledge of how to EDIT THE "TO" FIELD in your email, and remove addresses from the list of all recipients. This will be necessary if you want to CHANGE WHICH PEOPLE in the group can see your comment.
The knowledge of how to FILTER WORDS in your email. This will be necessary if a topic comes up that you don't want to see any mentions of.
The knowledge of how to BLOCK PEOPLE in your email. This will be very important. If someone joins this email group who you do not want to interact with, it will be up to you to BLOCK them so that you do NOT see their messages. (If they are bad enough to evade the block with multiple burner accounts, that's what you have a burner account for. Change it, and share the new one only with those you trust not to give it to them.)
Every person in the group will be effectively a "moderator" of the group, able to remove people from it by cutting their email addresses out of the "To" field. Members will all have equal "moderator" privileges, each able to tailor the group to their own needs.
This means the group may naturally split, over time, into other groups, each one removing some people and adding others. Some will overlap, some won't. This is good! This is, in my opinion, what online interaction SHOULD be like! There should be MANY groups like this!
In this way, we can keep online discussion alive, no matter WHAT happens to any of the social media websites.
If the dystopia got bad enough to shut down email, we could even continue with postal mail and photocopies, like they did in the days of print-zine fanfiction.
If it looks like the dystopia is gonna come for postal mail too, we'll use the connection we have to preserve whatever contacts we can with people who live near us.
Not saying it's GONNA get that bad. But these steps of preparation are good no matter exactly what kind of bad stuff happens.
As long as some organized form of communication still exists, we'll have a place where it's at least a little safer to be your true self…
Tumblr media
to plan events and meetups…
Tumblr media
and maybe even activities a little too risque to make the final cut of a 1982 Disney movie.
Tumblr media
They're trying to censor us. We want a Free System. So we're gonna fight back.
For the Users. Not the corporations.
Peace out, programs. <3

The times I've thought about you have been plenty. It's a never-ending cycle, for you see, I am falure of a Prime.
Megatron, as you stand before me, blade stabbing through my spark, through the pain and sorrow, I can't help but feel relief. Relief that between the two of us, you are the one to remain alive. With the war over, you having won, I would like to make one final request of you old friend.
Don't kill my comrades.
No matter how much you hate them, what threat they may pose, I beg of you. Leave them alive. It pains me to say, but without me, they won't interfere much with your plans anymore. I can only hope you remember your roots. The kindness and hope for something better your spark held when I was but your archivist, and you, my warrior. It might be selfish to think this in my final moments. But I've always loved you, Megatron.
Perhaps in death, will these feelings finally meet their end.
I love you. I loved you. I never stopped loving you, even in my final moments. I hope to Primus we meet in our next lives and I hope again that it's a much kinder life. One without war or inequality or corruption. One where I can hold your servo in mine without shame. One where you are not Lord Megatron and I Optimus Prime. Leaders of the Decepticons and Autobots respectfully.
Until we meet again in the well of all sparks...
------
Megatron glared at the body of the deceased Prime. A dark pit in his spark. A black hole threatening to swallow all its light. He had thought it a good idea to have Shockwave and Soundwave make a machine that would make the last moments and thoughts of anybot visible and audible. He thought maybe he'd see the Prime's thoughts pleading him to not kill his comrades, as well as fear. Something to explain why Optimus in his final moments commed him ".: Spare them:."
Megatron didn't spare them, of course. He was frankly going to enjoy killing them one by one. But they had all escaped.
How bothersome.
He'd find them someday. He's sure of it. And just to spit in Optimus's last wish, he will torture them, too.
The Prime's face in his last moments echoed in his mind. He growled at the useless longing in his spark, squeezing a random object and breaking it.
He still couldn't believe it. Optimus Prime in love with his arch nemesis. How foolish. How stupid. Ridiculous!
Megatron clawed at the chesplates just over his spark. He could not cry, for his tears had run dry long ago. Foolish indeed. This is not what he thought he wanted. Ruling over Cybertron, having cyberformed earth into a second world for his species.. He had thought he wanted it. Now that he had it, Megatron found it empty. His ambitions were gone, no longer did he have a true equal in this whole galaxy.
None would ever be Optimus Prime.
No, he had to set things right. A world without Optimus is not a world Megatron can live with. Where's the fun in getting everything he wants without a little bit of a constant challenge?
.
. .
. . . .
Megatron, a true Decepticon, able to deceive even himself. Primus mused at this. Silly child, went on to kill his other half. This just won't do.
Their short story won't end like this. Primus will not allow it. He Who is Forever Tainted by Unicron, you will live life anew. You shall only know when the time is right, and your debt to Primus has been paid off of what they have done. Do not make the same choices that lead you to make your biggest regret. Make no mistake, this wish is not for you, but for he who is favored by me.
Make the child of Primus, he who was once Orion Pax and later one of Primus's true Primes enjoy a life worth living.
This is your one and only chance. Make it count.
. . . .
. .
.

Meg-tron
"MEGATRON!"
Megatron woke up with a jolt. He tried to online his battle protocols, and they hummed loudly, ready to come out. But something stopped him. A servo, two, actually. Each cupped his cheeks and wiped away his tears. He turned to look at the bot whose servos they belonged to and found none other than Optimus Prime. "You're alive?"
Optimus looked bewildered for a moment, he could feel it through their bond. Bond? He felt affection, worry, and love from the Prime.
"I am very much alive, Megatron." Optimus leaned in to press their forehelms together. Megatron's servos easily reached to hold the Prime's waist as if they'd done so thousands of times. Maybe even more than that. "You must have had a nightmate."
"A nightmare.." It seemed so vivid. A world without Optimus, one where he had..
Megatron doesn't even want to think about it. His spark was still beating wildly in its chamber, and he recognized he still felt fear. A few well placed kisses from his bondmate further eased his worries and sorrow that still felt fresh in his processor and spark. Right. He and Optimus were Conjuxed now. Megatron greedily leaned into the kiss, but one small playful bap from his beloved made him huff and smile. Softening the kiss that would have become more desperate had it continued.
Megatron held Optimus for a long moment. His helm burrowed on the Prime's neck, the action mirrored by his other half. Small comforting kisses are being pressed on Megatron's neck along with quiet words of love. Primus, Optimus was a soft fool. But he was Megatron's soft fool.
They had layed back down at one point, still as close to one another as they could be. And they remained like that. Optimus having fallen asleep again at one point.
Megatron knew Optimus was a blessing, he just hadn't realized how much of one he was until he had that dream. No. The fragmented memories of his past life. Megatron had never seen them before, and even now they were hazy. But the feelings had persisted and carried over. He realized this now. It was thanks to them he reacted rather irrationally at many points in this life, but his longing for Optimus to be by his side remained the same. It had just taken a much, much more romantic turn than his other self would have thought.
Megatron had no regrets though. None at all. As he pressed a soft kiss on Optimus's audial, he smiled soft. "I love you." He wispered. He had said it so many times already, yet somehow this felt like the first.

Wish and The Power of Word of Mouth
So, Wish drops tomorrow on Disney+ for those of you who have not heard already. And if I am being honest, I do not expect it to make that much of an impact, but I do hope that those who haven't seen the movie yet give the movie a chance as well as discuss the movie and its deleted scenes and scrapped concepts more. This goes especially for those who are making the animatics, re-writes, fan art or other form of fandom related to Wish, GIVE THE MOVIE A CHANCE BEFORE MAKING YOUR ART!
Do you want Disney or anyone that worked on Wish to talk about Star's human design and what that relationship to Asha would have been like, or what the villain couple would have been like or to go more into detail about any of the concept art we have seen and been inspired by? TALK ABOUT IT!
if you want to see Disney explore the world of Wish more and maybe we can get some of those concepts that never made it to the movie? DISCUSS THOSE CONCEPTS ONLINE!
Do you want more people to know that Wish was not the terrible mess that people online made it out to be? TALK ABOUT IT, SHARE THOSE FEELINGS!
The power of word of mouth cannot be understated. The more people that share art, re-writes, animatics or whatever form of content related to Wish and its concepts and ideas, the more that shows Disney that there is a passionate audience behind these ideas and maybe something can happen, though it may take a while (just look at the Tron franchise)
Share your feelings about Disney not utilizing these concepts. Make fanarts, animatics, re-writes, or WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH THOSE CONCEPTS! Because someone could see that art and be inspired to make their own or tell their story about why this movie changed so much in production.
If we don't stay or share anything, then this movie and this fandom WILL BE FORGOTTEN! And for a movie that is supposed to represent 100 years of one of the most influential studios in not only animation but film in general, to be tossed aside and forgotten is a horrible thing.
It has been great to read all the re-writes and see all the fanart of Asha and Star, and I hope we get some more and especially from some new voices.

Tronblr is not ready to hear about Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom of Ice (1983) show that had a Tron segment in it. i cant believe this. wow
youtube
The Tron segment shows up at about 0:20, ft. a recogniser set piece and a guard? I can't find any specifics about what the Tron part of the show actually looked/sounded like, but I found this blurb on the Disney Wiki:
Later, as Mickey and Minnie go off to get Mr. Lito's ticket, Mr. Lito went to the video arcade. However, he gets sucked into the supercomputer TRON, where he meets the beautiful Computer Guardian and Commander Sark, who seeks to deprogram Mr. Lito, who manages to escape, as the Computer Knight engages Sark in a laser disc duel. Meanwhile, Mickey arrives in the world of TRON to explain what is going on, and the Computer Guardian explains that Mr. Lito went off to the Haunted Graveyard.
(Funny how Sark is in the Tron show, but Tron isn't! Tron, always being benched from his own franchise since only a year into it's existence.)
