This started off as a test because I wanted to figure out how I could paint stormlight and stained glass for another piece for them…

I spent so much time on it by now, it feels like a waste not to post it.

Finally the day is here! Here's the collab I've been working on alongside with @truthwatcher-vez and @havens.end (insta) for the @cosmere-mini-bang

Haven and I did ilustrations for Progression. A beautiful fanfic by @truthwatcher-vez starring Renarin and Rysn and a moment of truly understanding between them. Such lovely characters I've loved since the first time I met them reading the stormlight archive.

I think this is the first time I can say I am living something as big in terms of fandom. I am really happy about finding the cosmere and people with the same love and interest in it. 💕

(Ignore that it says Truthseeker instead of Truthwatcher I always get it wrong somehow)

So miiuxue’s aesthetic is usually **red** so I def Implemented that, I also tried to implement traditional Chinese fashion into the design but i think I got lost in the sauce on that one. I had a hard time drawing the canon look of Mistspren in the physical realm so I took inspo from one artist (i couldnt find their name so lmk if you know them) on their look of Renarin’s spren, but since searching for that artist it seems mistspren are depicted as floating crystals… but its too late to fix it now lol

Now bptron’s fav colour is magenta so I ofc made her fit magenta. I also tried implementing elements of traditional Philippino clothing into the Havah design and I think it turned out better than the first one. And for her spren she requested that it look like Momonga from Chiikawa which was sorta difficult to interpret due to Wyndle’s ancient tree spirit look and vibe, but I think it turned out cute

And for me, my white ass got Shin ofc, but since I bleached my underlayer of hair I decided to make my sona Shin + Iri. I was afraid of making her look too much like Shallan with her Havah so I tried to customize the design a bit to make it more unique (hopefully). Since I got Windrunner I gave myself an honour spren and to make her look less like Syl, I gave her a more purpley tint that matches my Havah

Might improve the designs at some point but I think its ok for now 💃

Does anyone else feel like the truth watchers were severely under represented in Stormlight? We got renarin who has an enlightened spren, but we never really got to see what a regular truth watcher can do. And that makes me sad

Tbh these pictures are kind of awful now that I see them not on my phone, but I already gave these to the person I made them for, so I can't take new ones, lol.

These are a modern take on 18th c pockets, with an emblem from some of Brandon Sanderson's books (I'm not familiar with the books actually; as I said, I made these as a gift for someone else). They're hand sewn, hand embroidered, I wove the drawstring on my backstrap loom, and I even made the bias tape myself so it would match the waistband where the drawstring goes through! Took me about a month, though it isn't the only thing I was working on.

I've listened to several audio recordings Isso left in this facility. The mixing of rhythms was a unique experience to hear, they do sound like four harmonious voices speaking at once, each voice just happens to be attuned to a different rhythm. T- [Spoken to Excitement which changes to Irritation as the other speaker speaks.]

It sounds like a quartet that sing the same lyrics but can't agree on the song to me. It makes me very uncomfortable to listen to.

He seems to have changed to audio recordings sporadically throughout this process. [Spoken to Curiosity.]

It is obvious that he is significantly damaged and that his spren have been twisted through those recordings. [Spoken to the Terrors.]

It is through miscellaneous comments he makes throughout those recordings that we know more specific numbers for those that perished during his experiments. [Spoken to the Lost.]

In particular, he's been responsible for hundreds, even thousands of Parshendi disappearances across the Cosmere over the decades this 'project' was actively being worked on. Unfortunately, he never detailed how exactly he was able to accomplish this while avoiding detection. [Spoken to the Terrors.]

We learned that many of the individualistic changes he induced seems to have been primarily aesthetic rather than purely functional. Which follows along well with his prior Hemalurgic constructs. [Spoken to Resolve.]

I have to agree, it has been hypothesized that he has an initial idea but no goal for the idea when he begins to work on them… [Spoken to Tension.]

I recommend a small group try to figure out what he may become fascinated with. If we can catch him before he does something else, its a win for us. If he stays in his hole for the rest of time because nothing else catches his attention, that's also a win I argue.

The next few reports will be what we've compiled on particular 'True Surge Choristers'. We have some specifics on personality, appearance, and 'basal surge adaptations'.
