hood deco, yay! @antoninko wanted more hood deco to be converted from ts4, but i didn't have much in mind. until today! i was browsing through the debug menu for the high school pack and discovered these signs. i think they're quite versatile for debug items 😁

they come exactly as pictured (in nh tab view, not live mode!) and can be found under the 'landmarks' category. enjoy ✨

(no close-ups because there's going to be a power power shortly and im struggling to get this done. you can probably just zoom into the picture since the signs are pretty low-detail anyway)

A new strip mall

Okay. I haven’t opened my game in about a week because I finally decided to do something about my RL flower garden. I’ve been neglecting it for the past 3 years, but finally decided to remedy that.

But enough of that. Today, I’ll show you Tedhi’s little mall lot that she built on that spot where the diner used to be. I made a few changes to the lot – mostly replacing base-game stuff with CC - but not too many.

Outside, I replaced her bus-stop bench with that bicycle set MsPoodle made. The town leaders are trying to reduce carbon emissions by encouraging the use of bicycles. Not because they actually give a rat’s ass, but they own the bikes and get a kick-back. (And besides, Tedhi placed a bus-stop on her Doo Peas lot, so I didn’t need this one.)

The biggest change was to the grocery store. Here’s that Keaton dude going inside. I added that Llama sign, just because I like it.

Inside, I replaced the base-game deco with some CC I have – most of which came from Around the Sims 3. So thank you, Sandy! I didn’t add a lot of items, because I hate getting those notifications, “Your Sim is an idiot and is currently stamping his little, pixilated feet, because he’s too stupid to go around an object.” I then took the godawful NPC into CAS and made him semi-presentable. I also switched out a few items in the salon part of the lot, but nothing much. Other than that, I left the lot pretty much the way it was.

Next I went over to the new police department she made. Outside, I exchanged some plants in that one flowerbed for that sign Sandy converted from TS4. Over the door, I added a “video” camera from TSR, created by cyclonesue. And a mailbox from somewhere – not sure where.

In the “dog” training area, I switched out the bathtub Tedhi used for the one Sandy created for her dog salon set. (Again, thank you, Sandy!)

It's better by bus! After an exciting day out in Newcrest, why not take advantage of the new public transport system (one stop and counting)? Ideally situated at the top of the map, Bridgeview Bus Stop is a highly pleasant place to wait for a bus 👍

*gasp* a replies post! A long replies post! A long replies post where I overshare again! *o* Yeah I kinda missed doing these. I’m now at home, but won’t be for much longer. First, I’m going to meet some of my new classmates on Friday and I’ll spend the whole weekend with them! We’re going somewhere...well I don’t even know where that is, just that it’s in nature and I’ve never been there before! Thank gods we’re meeting at the main station in Prague, or else I wouldn’t get there myself. Then on Moday, I have to go to my uni, and then once more on Wednesday I think? And on Wednesday, I’ll have to wake up at 4 am. my LiFe Is SoOoOOOoO HaRd oH mY gOd. No, I’ll be fine.

And a month from now, I’ll be moving to my dorm. That’s some crazy stuff. I can’t believe it’s happening. Last week, my dad actually took me to Prague and we went to see where it is. The location reminds me a lot of my home, but I won’t tell you what exactly that is because no one needs to know that. Anyway, school starts in October. I’m actually looking forward to studying, but the “living alone in a big city with people I’ve never seen before” part is scary. D: I’ll give you updates.

Anyway, today was a weird day. First, I sat alone by the lake when these two guys came and talked to me (I didn’t mind that actually, they were kinda nice), then when I got up and said I had to go home, one of them complimented my legs...which would’ve been really nice but then he basically implied he’d go to bed with me...and like literally five minutes ago he said he had a girlfriend...basically men are scary. Then later, mum and I went grocery shopping and I saw my middle school crush with his girlfriend...and decided that his girlfriend is cute, way cuter than him actually...bisexual culture I guess, crushing on your middle school crush’s girlfriend lmao. Then we went to pay for our groceries and the cashier...was my childhood friend who also happened to be my first crush and also my last crush and these days I’m wondering if I’m really crushing on him or if I’m just holding onto him because I don’t know any better. Long story but if you ever feel like I have a thing for childhood friends to lovers trope, maybe blame him.

Wow. Oversharing much? Let’s get to those replies then, before I tell you what colour my underwear is or something.

*hugs* We're our own worst critics. I used to cringe at my old stuff too, but really it was decent. I might have learned more since then, but it was still good. I'm glad you can see the good in yours. :)

I’m definitely not as hard at my younger self anymore. I went and read some of my stories written when I was 13-14, and I tried to look at it that way. They weren’t perfect, but maybe they were good for a child of that age. I mean, I always got good grades on my writing homework, and my teachers have always liked how I worked with words, so...yeah, it’s not perfect, but I’m not going to have perfectly fleshed out characters and storylines when I have barely even understood that the world isn’t just black and white, good and evil. There are shades inbetween.

That got deep again but I have a lot of feelings about this and I’m sorry to my younger writer self for how I’ve treated her. Keep going, kid.

Yeah, this is so weird...I know people say it happens when the picture has a lot of “skintone” coloured pixels...but that’s not always the case with my flagged posts??

Also (I’ll never shut up about this)...why is there a female-presenting nipples rule when it clearly can’t ever tell female and male nipples apart? I’m just saying. And yes I get it, for AI it sure has to be difficult to tell such things apart but in my opinion that’s exactly why they should get rid of it and only incorporate it when it can tell it apart. Actually, hold on, nope. The nipple rule is stupid no matter what gender the nipple is.

Thank you for your feedback! I think it would be no more than one Word page of text. Which is a lot still but I think that’s the maximum I’d go for. And I mean, I’d show all the important moments. It’s just, I guess I don’t need ten different pictures of the same conversation when these people are just standing next to each other. And it doesn’t need to be split into ten different posts either.

TOY STORY 5 PLOT (WARNING TS4 SPOILERS)

If I were going to write Toy Story 5, I would have a prequel where we get to see how everyone came to Andy’s room. We’d get to see how each character joined overtime. Can you imagine Rex on his first day? Cut to present day with Woody and Bo Peep sitting on the edge of the Grand Canyon, reminiscing about old times: Turns out they left the Carnival years ago, and they travel using semis. Throughout the movie we see numerous US landmarks. We see what happened to our newest friends Ducky and Bunny. (Something genius that Key and Peele come up with.) Cut to Present day: Buzz and Jessie are still at Bonnie’s, and run the room together. We get to see how everyone’s roles have changed since Woody’s left. It’s hard to tell, but something is different. Cut to Woody and Bo walking underneath the Golden Gate Bridge. We can see cars driving above them. Another Flashback, and we see the origins of some of our favorites like Hamm!!!! We also learn about the Toy who used to run Andy’s room. He had never left that house, and would hide until another kid came along over the years. He passes down the room to Woody. Hence Woodys complete admiration for loyalty. Cut to present day, Buzz and the Gang are busy getting ready for what is now to be revealed as a baseball game. Meanwhile, Woody and Bo realize that they have no where left to go, they’ve seen it all, and end up hiding in the bushes near a school bus stop. Woody falls asleep dreaming about when he first met Andy. We see the backstory to why we’ve never seen Andy’s dad..... turns out he died right before Andy’s first Christmas. Woody was the only present under the tree that was from his dad. We also find out Woody was actually Andy’s dads first toy. Woody wakes up to the sound of kids screaming running off of a nearby school bus. Him and Bo play dead. The last kid gets off the bus, and you see him drop a baseball. It rolls right next to Woody and Bo. He sees them, picks them both up, and puts them into a baseball bag. The bag has something familiar on it.... a pin from Pizza Planet. Woody and Bo can only hear what’s going on, because the bag is dark. We see the boy running up a familiar driveway, and you can hear his feet hitting the pavement. The boy unlocks the door to his house, and yells inside, “Dad! I’m going to the Andersons!” Woody recognizes that last name, but from where? His dad replies, “Drew don’t forget, the game is at 5:30!” The boy gets on his bike and Woody and Bo wonder where they are headed. We cut to Drew biking past a familiar white fence up to an even more familiar yellow house. Drew rings the doorbell, and another boy greets him. They are wearing matching Jerseys. They both run upstairs. Drew throws his bag down. The boys are hungry and run downstairs to eat before the game. Woody reluctantly unzips the bag. He slowly looks around, and is tackled by a familiar face......Slink!!!! Drew is friends with Bonnie’s younger brother, Blake! Cue the waterworks. The gang reunites. They share laughter and tears, and right before they are about to hear what Woody’s been up to, the doorbell rings. Drew throws on his bag and grabs Woody and Bo and runs downstairs. “Drew! Get your glove, we’re gonna be late!” “I know dad, but you’ll never guess what I found.” Pan to the back of the Drew’s head with him holding up our favorite Cowboy. We see his father standing at the bottom of the stairs in the doorway. “Woody????” He says with a happy, confused look. It’s Andy. Woody smiles. The End. Ending credits: The toys go back and forth between the houses in various creative ways Show everyone’s final character development overtime. End the franchise for good.
