The Judith Ward brainrot is real. I spent the last two days thinking about her and playing with her in CAS/Blender/Photoshop.

I started developing a HC about her years ago, but I never really took time to write it (at least, until an hour ago - then I accidentally deleted my draft and since tumblr sucks, I can't recover it). So here we go (again).

Her official bio says this:

Judith Ward is a legend in the acting community. She has starred in everything from comedies to dramas. You name it, Judith has played the role. [...] Her mentality is to get rich at all costs. [...] She has been married several times, but all of her partners have only slowed her down. [...]

My HC is sorta the same, except... not.

Judith is a legend, alright. But in a more underground fashion. She did play about any kind of role, in any kind of film. As long as it was low-budget, mediocre (except a few surprisingly good movies), and cliché; she's a B-movie (scream) queen. The B-movie Queen. She has a very loyal following, verging on being a cult.

She started her career in a no-budget short film at the very end of the 70s, when she was only barely 18. Her sweet and innocent looks, coupled with a body that men couldn't resist, got her to immediately become the to-go actress when directors needed a final girl - and in those days, they needed a new one every couple months.

After just a few years, she already had starred in more than twenty movies, all in leading roles, and was married to her second husband, a man forty years her elder. It was her golden age. She was the star of every giallo or horror movie made in Del Sol Valley, plus a few sci-fi low-budget films. It's also when she started to get plastic surgery, the most noticeable, being her breasts which gained a few cups in a day.

The 90s were a more difficult time, but she still got a few major roles in some slashers, though less and less, she played a lead character.

The 2000s were when Del Sol's directors forgot about her, preferring to cast younger, prettier, girls. Her fifth husband, a producer of a different kind of films, convinced her to give it a try; that's how she started her career as a porn star. She didn't mind, after all, she was used to being naked on screen, and more than a few of her past roles had involved some erotism that verged on being pornographic (there is still some discussion today, to know if the sex scenes in two of her films were simulated or real - the answer was 'both'; actually, neither should have been real, but the sexual tension with her partner on the set of Die My Bride was so intense that they ended up not faking it).

Finally, in the middle of the 2010s, a couple of new horror movie directors, who grew up watching her exploitation films, offered her a major - though not the lead - role in their successful debut movie, reviving her cult. Since then, she starred in a few more films, often getting the lead role.

She divorced her seventh husband a few months back, and is now dating a 21 years old actor she met on the set of her latest movie. She's thinking about getting a new breast expansion surgery, and still stars in a few pornos here and there.

I learned that Paka'a's Child of the Ocean trait makes him sad when fishing and uncomfortable when eating fish, and honestly it makes sense in and out of the lore I established for him. He does have a "friends not food when not for survival" outlook on eating fish in the lore already, so I'll just change it to him only eating fish when he hunts it himself, and him preferring to hunt and eat other types of meat instead.

He knows the death of the fish was quick and painless that way when he hunts it alongside being able to give proper thanks for its sacrifice, because as nice as he can be to everyone around him, he knows it isn't safe to assume the same was the case when humans catch and prepare the fish. As long as he's been alive has made sure he's seen many things that break his heart. It's also a reason he refuses to eat fish cooked, he only eats it raw because he doesn't know what humans do to the fish before/while/after cooking it. Thinking too long on what humans might do to the fish makes him nauseous from the dread and anxiety.

Hear me out, this might be controversial but... Don Lothario being distantly related to the Monty family?

I mean look at these guys. Don can so easily be a distant relative to Bassanio. Besides Don is a name from Shakespeare, as is his mother's name Adriana (and her mother's Isabella).

When you cheer in front of 60 something people who attend the games, you would always feel a pair of eyes on you and of course you knew who it was,the one and only Miguel.

Most of the time when Miguel gets benched which rarely happens,you hurry up and run over to him and give him a shoulder massage telling him how good he did and kissing his cheek because you know how much he hated being benched but with you around he's been thinking about asking his coach to bench him a little more often.

Everytime the varsity football team wins a game,they all throw a party at one of their house especially in the basement.Most of the time ur just sitting on Miguel left thigh while he's sitting on the couch while drinking beer.

The freshman girls would always flirt and drool all over your beloved boyfriend,but you knew that Miguel only had eyes for you so it didn't bother you as much, I mean who could blame them?

Every night after you have dinner with your family you go to your room and open your window to see Miguel tying to get into your room.you didn't really find it weird that he snuck out just to sneak into your room but that only resulted into hot and heavy make out sessions and "studying" 😰.

He always picks you up from cheer practice so he could take you out to eat milkshakes because he knows how stressful your schedule is so you try to make room to hang out with him as often as you can.

Every weekend when your parents are at work and you're home alone you're just sitting on the couch all cuddled up against your boyfriend watching desperate housewives since that was y'all's favorite show to watch.

Tank Grunt, unlike his brother, was completely dedicated to Division 47. Even if his father didn’t let him do all the things he wanted to, he was just happy to be there. Every waking moment was spent trying to please the general. One day, that position—general of the military—would be his. And he intended to deserve it.

For the time being, Tank was tasked with security. He spent most of the day scanning surveillance footage. It was boring, yes, but he knew it was an important job. Somebody had to do it, right? Did Buzz give the assignment to him because only he could be trusted with it? The general must really believe in his abilities! He’d be moving on up any day now!

His main duty was making sure the Smiths weren’t trying to leave again.

hc: caleb's birthday portraits

When Caleb was born, Lilith received a box of crayons and a ream of paper from their father, who instructed her to draw the baby. He explained that they needed pictures to send to her grandparents so they’d know what her new brother looked like. It was a very important responsibility, one he urged her to take seriously, so she got to work.

Lilith was two and a half years old at the time. Those drawings didn’t clarify a thing for her grandparents, but they kept her occupied while her mother, exhausted after a difficult labor, got a bit of rest.

A year later, while Lilith’s mother was busy preparing Caleb’s birthday celebration, her father once again approached her, this time with even more crayons and paper, and told her to draw her brother so their grandparents could see how he'd grown. These ones were a little better, but the grandparents probably got a bit more out of the actual photographs mailed along with the drawings. It became a yearly tradition, and she kept it up even after Caleb stopped aging. She still has almost all of the portraits, except the ones from his 4th, 7th, 29th, and 56th birthdays. There are so many now that storing them is a logistical challenge.

Caleb thinks that the collection is a fascinating representation of the vampiric existence. He, the subject, does not meaningfully change portrait to portrait, year to year. He knows that he hasn’t, but there’s something about the sheer size of the collection - literally dozens of paintings, all with the same face - that really drives that point home. On the other hand, they’re a detailed record of Lilith’s evolution as an artist. Caleb looks the same in every painting, but no two paintings look alike. She has changed and grown, though she looks the same as she always has. He's grown too.

There’s something meaningful about that, so every year, he agrees to another portrait. Thankfully, Lilith paints quickly and vampires can hold a pose.

Also, March 23rd feels like a good birthday for Caleb. I think that'd be right around Spring 1, if we take the equinox to be the beginning of spring.
