The thick, humid air of the night clung to your skin, leaving a sticky and uncomfortable trace all over your swollen body. Being so far along in your pregnancy, sharing a hammock with Tsu’tey was becoming increasingly cramped. His chest pressed tightly into your back and despite your attempts to shift your weight for a cooler spot, to no avail, it was too difficult to move. You let out a soft sigh, giving up on the idea, a trickle of sweat ran down your forehead. But as you tried to drift back to sleep, you heard Tsu’tey’s ragged breathing, and for a second you thought that he might be having a nightmare.
“Tsu’tey?” you whispered in case he was asleep.
Tsu’tey hummed in response behind you, signaling that he was wide awake. You turned your head slightly, catching a glimpse of his profile in the dim moonlight. His eyes were open, staring up at the night sky.
With much effort, you turned around to lay on your other side and face him. Your big stomach immediately put a distance between your bodies, only brushing lightly against Tsu’tey’s core and bringing him out of his thoughts. You were exhausted, wishing to go back to sleep, but your mate losing sleep for the third night in the row was concerning, and it was about time that you comforted him.
“Go back to sleep, yawntu,” Tsu’tey mumbled, feeling a little guilty for your tired state.
He had to crane his neck awkwardly to lean down and plant a soft kiss on your forehead, something that he had gotten used to ever since your belly had grown in size.
“Why aren’t you asleep, Tsu’tey?” the grit in your voice sounded pleasantly sweet to his ears, “I can tell something is troubling you.”
“It’s nothing,” he shook his head lightly, his expression betraying his words.
“Please share with your muntxatu,” you offered, placing your palm on Tsu'tey's chest.
He softened at the gesture, covering your hand with his and squeezing it lightly. Your all-knowing warm gaze was like a gentle wind, slowly unraveling and peeling away each layer of fear and doubt he had been putting on for the past months.
“I am scared that… I won’t be good enough for her,” he confessed, his ears lowering in shame.
You blinked in confusion, tracing the soft glow of his freckles back to his eyes, that were unwilling to look at you. Your heart swelled at the realization that he was talking about your daughter.
“You have no reason to be scared, Tsu’tey, you will be everything she could ever wish for,” you scooted closer to him, as much as your body allowed you to.
“What if I’m not?” he let out a deep sigh, finally meeting your gaze with vulnerability reflecting in his own, “You know how I am, yawntu… I can be harsh sometimes. What if she sees that and gets scared? If she goes off running or gets lost, and I get angry with her, then what? I don’t want her to fear me… or hate me.”
“Your concern for her even before she's born shows how good of a father you will be, Tsu’,” you looked at him with a soft smile, “And I know you won't hurt her, just like you've never hurt me.”
“I will protect her with my whole heart if I need to. Both of you,” Tsu’tey declared, feeling it in his whole being.
And you knew he meant it. With every fiber in his body, Tsu’tey was committed to give his unborn child everything he could and more. His love for her was pouring out of every word he muttered, every gesture, every thought in his head.
“I know,” you hummed in contentment, “And both of us love you just for the way you are.”
His lips curled into a smile, and he leaned down to nuzzle your cheek, whispering a small ‘thank you.’ Tsu'tey rested his palm gently against your swollen belly, shifting to bring his face to the same level.
“Can’t wait to meet you,” he spoke softly to his unborn child, as you watched him with admiration.
Both of you felt a sudden movement from within your belly in response to his voice. Something small pressed against your skin, causing his eyes to widen, and Tsu’tey gently traced the imprint with his fingers, marveling at the sight he had already seen many times before.
“I think she’s saying it back,” you said. Tsu’tey nodded in satisfaction, pressing a kiss to your belly.
“I love you so much. Your mommy and you made me the happiest man alive, you know that?”
And just like a response, the baby kicked again, drawing out a laugh out of both of you.
“Feels like she’s going to talk back a lot when she learns how to,” you teased, smiling down at Tsu’tey.
“Going to be just like her mother,” he grinned back.
You rolled your eyes playfully but the smile on your lips widened. Seeing your mate so happy over your shared love was something you could never grow tired of.

So there's this thing for couples where a husband will gently lift their pregnant wife's stomach to make them comfortable and take the weight off them. If you're ok with it a Neteyam x reader where they're adults he finds this trick out and tries it and she loves it, she'll just come up to him all time and nudge him to hold her like that. His family thinks it funny how she paws at him almost like a cat to held. If you don't want to write this that's ok❤️
A/N: okay so I it’s not a full fic but I hope you enjoy the Drabble

Neteyam watched from the entrance of your corner of the tent as you stretched in different ways trying to relieve some of your pain. He walked up beside you waiting for you to finish. You gave up with a defeated sigh. He reached out putting one hand on your back and the other one on the swelling of your stomach. “ what’s wrong syulang “ he asks you softly . You let out a soft whine “ everything hurts teyam, but my back is the worst with the pulling pressure “ he hummed listening to you gently rubbing your bump when he suddenly remembered something he had read a while ago when you had first told him he’d be a father in a few cycles time.
He looked into your eyes “ I think I have the thing t help with ma syulang , but you must trust me “ you huffed softly “ I’ll always trust you yawntu “.
He moved to stand behind you, he grabbed you pulling you to his chest. He moved his hand underneath your bump and slowly lifted it . You immediately felt relieved you moaned gently as you no longer felt like your back was about to snap with the weight of your child. Neteyam helped you as long as he could before slowly letting go. You sighed gently turning around again laying your head on his shoulder “ thank you Yawntu “ you mumbled into his neck. He smiled at this rubbing your bump” you don’t have to thank you syulang, I will do anything to help you.”
You both stayed holding each other for a few more moments before joining the rest of the family for evening meal.
Over the next few days this was your routine when he came home from his duties of that day he’d come over and help you with the weight. Today he arrived later with the rest of the sully men . Neteyam walked over to where you were sitting on the ground , helping you stand before bringing you into his arms. You quietly greeted each other afterwards you gently pushed his hands downward to the bottom of your bump . Neteyam tried to hide his smile before moving behind you and gently lifting your bump.
Jake lowly chuckled as he watched you paw at Neteyam, he nudged Neytiri gesturing towards you both. She looked up gently smiling at the once familiar sight that was once them over the years.

Yn/3rd person pov
It was very rare to have a quiet morning even more so with your mate still in bed when you wake up "morning" you grogily spoke lazily throwing your arm over him in a somewhat of a hug.
"Morning ma yn" he whispered his body cramped up in your queen sized bed, you had to sleep in the lab now since norman said being couped up with the mask all the time wasn't good for the baby.
I think that was the first time tsutey ever listened and agreed with him "you should've gone back" I whispered cuddling into his warm body nuzzling my head into his chest.
His hands moved to settle around me "no ways I would leave you and the child" his voice was low and raspy still laced with sleep I giggled quietly closing my eyes basking in this moment.
"We don't get do to this very often" I whispered making him hum in response "we must cherish it" he spoke his hands slowly moving to draw little patterns onto my skin.
I let out a happy groan as I stretched out my limbs but took a sudden intake of breath "what happened" tsutey shot up his eyes on me I shook my head "I'm ok I'm ok" I breathed out.
I grabbed his arm to help me sit up "i-i think the baby moved" I murmured my hand slowly felt around the area tsutey sat silently his breath hitched.
I gasped in delight as I felt it "here" I squealed grabbing tsuteys hand bringing it to my stomach he took in a breath his eyes staring at my stomach intently when he finally released his breath it was a shakey one.
"Their going to be a mighty hunter" he smiled showing off his teeth I giggled happily putting my hand over his feeling the baby's movement through his hand.
"Eywa has blessed us" he whispered leaning his head onto mine giving me small kisses and pecks all over my head whispering praises and prayers.
"They will grow mighty and beautiful just like their mother" I bit my lip blushing from his words and turned my head away to embarrassed to look at him.
But he slowly raised his hand to turn my face to his, his lip connecting with mine we kissed in till we were both breathless but even then he kept his face closer.
"I want this to last forever, I want to raise a family with you, to cherish you and to love you for eternity"

pairing: jake sully x neytiri x tsu'tey x fem!human! reader summary: a scientist arrives on pandora (unwillingly) a year after the exile of the rda. now she must deal with the likes of a clan leader, a great warrior, and a thanator rider. . . word count: 7.4k

“What do you mean pregnant?” Jake questioned looking absolutely bewildered.
Next to you, Norm cleared his throat, “While we were doing our rounds here, Dr. Reeds discovered it. We ran some tests and turns out it’s true. Grace’s avatar is pregnant.”
Jake frowned, “I’m sorry, that still doesn’t explain how she got like this.”
You shrugged, not looking up from your tablet, “Well, apparently when two avatars love each other very much—”
“We don’t know.” Norm instead answered, sending you a glare, to which you ignored.
After your rather strange discovery, Norm got in touch with Jake and an hour later the rest of the scientists were cleared out of the room. And in replacement, three tall ass Na’vi crowded around Augustine’s avatar tank while you and Norm—still in human form—stood on the other side of the tank, staring straight at the glass while Jake, Neytiri, and Tsu’tey looked over it.
Their reactions were as expected. Jake confused. Neytiri wary yet curious. And Tsu’tey with his usual scowl—you were seriously beginning to think it was just the way his face was set—but with a hint of apprehension.
“She’s two months along or more, I’m honestly surprised we hadn’t noticed it until now.” Norm frowned, looking at the small stomach. The avatar wasn’t showing yet, perhaps because of how thin they all naturally were—but upon further inspection, the small two-month-old bump was quite noticeable.
“So, it just appeared? No explanation?” Jake questioned, also frowning down at the avatar. “How is that even possible?”
Again, you shrugged and finally looked up from your tablet. “Well, that depends,” Frankly, you didn’t want to be here. Being practically stuck in the same room with two people who both pissed you off and had you on guard constantly. Like they were going to attack you at any second—perhaps throw more baseless accusations your way. It would often leave you exhausted afterward. “What exactly was Dr. Augustine doing before her avatar ended up unresponsive? Any secret relationships? Did you ever find her sneaking out—possibly to meet someone in secret?”
Jake was the one who responded, unfortunately. “We shared a station together for three months. She never left that place or met with anyone.”
Norm nodded in agreement while Neytiri placed her hand on the tank glass, “In her last moments we tried moving her spirit through Eywa and into her false body. But she was very weak…Could she have been with child then?”
“Had to be. She couldn’t have been pregnant after—after she passed.” Norm crossed his arms—almost like he was hugging himself.
Well, that wasn’t much to go on but you didn’t say it out loud since the very sight of this woman’s avatar—or at least talking about her clearly made the four of them react.
You had no personal connection to the late Dr. Grace Augustine, she was your role model of course but that was about it. You’ve never met her, therefore you were the only one with an unbiased perspective.
Their reactions were different but the same in some ways.
Norm hid it by pushing forward and moving the conversation along. Neytiri doesn’t hide her emotion when talking about Dr. Augustine. Her face was gentle and grief-stricken. You wondered if Neteyam, who was snuggly strapped to her chest, felt his mother’s strong emotions.
Jake wore a mask of sorts but you could still see the traits. Low ears, tail tucked behind his leg, avoidant gaze—it was then you realized how easy it was to read Na’vi’s expressions. You wondered if reading humans was difficult for them, except for Jake. Na’vi just had a more expressive face. Unless they were experienced at hiding it well.
Like Tsu’tey. The clan leader looked distant and was the quietest out of the four.
You supposed that Grace seemed to be the one thing that bonded the four. Especially Jake, Neytiri, and Tsu’tey. They had each other to lean on, you could tell by how unconsciously they neared each other.
But you and Norm? Maybe you could lean on each other but it wasn’t necessarily the same.
You lost your mother. Who could you lean on?
It must’ve been nice.
You knew you had been staring too long when Tsu’tey’s eyes locked with yours.
As subtly as you could, you looked away to tune in back to what Norm was saying, “So obvious questions aside, what should we do?”
“That’s not an obvious question?” You frowned, earning a jab in your side from him.
The three were quiet as they glanced at each other—or rather they were having a silent conversation with each other. You could tell by the way Jake raised his brows in question. Neytiri’s meaningful look. And Tsu’tey’s narrowed eyes.
You tucked the tablet under your arm and cleared your throat, drawing their attention to you, “While you guys decide who should take care of it, the avatar would have to stay here. The baby—if there is truly one in there—would have to be born here.”
Norm nodded in agreement, “Grace’s avatar will be under Dr. Reeds’ care since she is the one who identified the fetus—"
“No.” Tsu’tey instantly scowled.
“Told you,” Norm mumbled next to you.
You rolled your eyes, briefly locking eyes with Neytiri who watched the two of you with a small frown. There was a flash of something that floated passed her eyes, something you didn’t have time to make out right now.
“The Sky People know nothing about caring for a child of our people.” Tsu’tey scowled. “None of them do! I will not trust the child—or sa’nok’s body in the hands of—”
“—Demon. Yeah, you’ve made that clear.” You cut in calmly, earning a warning look from Norm and a vicious glare from the clan leader. You ignored both, “The facts don’t change. The body cannot be moved. The avatar is essentially dead—this tank is its life support, therefore the baby’s life support. So, if we keep the avatar and the baby here—"
“You do not get to decide this—”
Now you were irritated. You tried. You really did. “Then deal with a dead fucking baby for all I care—”
“Reeds.” Norm frowned.
“Tsu’tey!” Neytiri hissed, giving the man’s arm a slight shove.
The only person who appeared calm was Jake—which wasn’t surprising. He was looking at you, not with malice or accusation, but with contemplation. “If we keep the baby here…?”
You pressed your lips into a thin line and let out a short, agitated breath. “Since the avatar is basically dead, it can’t push the baby out the usual way when the time comes to it. We’d have to perform a C-section to get it out.” Tsu’tey opened his mouth to protest but you quickly beat him to it, “Once the baby is born, it’s yours. I nor the rest of us have an interest in keeping it here. It would be illogical. Are rations are terrible already—we don’t have the resources to take care of a baby. So you won’t have to worry about it being raised by demons.”
In the last part, you directed your pointed look toward Tsu’tey was still glaring at you. A part of you was smug, the fear and hesitation around him slowly going away.
You really didn’t care much for what he thought about you and you made sure he knew it. Of course, being this reckless with your mouth wasn’t the smartest idea and he probably didn’t appreciate it—but perhaps that was the best part about it.
He hissed something in Na’vi at you, which he knew you wouldn’t understand. The one thing he had over you. And with his own carefully crafted smugness, he knew this too. You rolled your eyes.
Neytiri snapped at him in response which seemed to surprise both Tsu’tey and Jake. You glanced toward Norm with a questioning look. He leaned toward your ear and mumbled, “Essentially, Neytiri’s okay with you watching over Grace’s avatar.” You both watched Tsu’tey reply with the same amount of ferocity. “And Tsu’tey’s pissed that she’s siding with you.”
You hummed but didn’t respond. Neytiri agreed with the plan, this also surprised you but you refused to allow the others to see that. Instead, you’d hold your chin high and bathe in your victory of having at least one of them agree with you for once.
It was nice that Neytiri was defending your idea. At least someone in this room was sane enough to.
Jake, who had been silent up to this point, suddenly cut into Neytiri and Tsu’tey’s argument, which caused the both of them to turn to him. He said something to them in a lowered voice and before you could ask Norm what he was saying, Neytiri and a begrudged Tsu’tey suddenly left the room.
You watched their retreating figures with quiet curiosity, until Jake spoke again in English, “Norm, can Reeds and I have the room?”
Now you were frowning. Hell, you were sure you looked like Tsu’tey then. Norm gave you a pleading look, one that said, ‘Just talk to him’.
And it took a lot. Every bit of strength to restrain yourself from snapping at Norm and telling him it was a bad idea to leave the both of you alone.
But instead, you ended up holding back a groan in your throat. You wouldn’t let him see you snap like that. You wouldn’t break your resolve so easily around him again.
Eventually, you nodded stiffly, “Go ahead. We’ll be quick.”
After a nod and a pat on your shoulder, Norm left you and Jake alone.
The last time the two of you had been alone was when you set your mother’s lab on fire. You wondered if this was his chance to find fault in you again. To throw more accusations your way.
Jake watched you. And you watched him.
Stubbornly, you weren’t going to speak first. After all, he was the one who wanted to talk to you alone.
After another few seconds of you sizing each other up, he finally spoke, “Why the sudden interest in looking after Grace’s child, huh? What’s in it for you?”
You raised a brow, “Do you want some kind of sinister motive?”
He frowned at your very sardonic response, “No. Just the truth, if that isn’t too much.”
“The idea of truth seems subjective here.” You argued dryly. “No matter what I say, somehow I’m still made into this heartless demon you all have painted in your image. Don’t be surprised when I start acting like it at some point.” The latter was a dark joke of your own. But you failed to make that known to him.
Jake glared, leaning on the tank. The glass was impenetrable, it wouldn’t break under his weight. But it would leave unnecessary hand prints for someone to clean later. “Christ, can we just be straight with each other? You said yourself you had no interest in raising it. So why willingly volunteer to watch it?”
Despite your dislike for being alone with him—or him in general—you expected this question. It was an easy answer to which you had no problem responding to. Whatever it took to get this interaction done and over with as quickly as possible.
So, you gave a simple shrug, “The avatar got pregnant without having any intercourse. And I’ve checked. The development is impossible but remarkable. I want to study it closely, to learn how it happened and how it will continue to develop over time. Hell, we’re not even sure if this is an actual baby inside. Could be something else. We won’t know until it’s out.”
The answer didn’t seem to satisfy him. You could tell by the way his ears remained pinned at the side of his head, “So that’s what all of this is to you? A science project?”
“I’m a scientist.” You said plainly as if the answer was obvious. “Plus, it gives me something to do here. I have to make up the time I’ve lost.”
Jake frowned as if waiting for more. You did not offer more.
“And you think you are capable of doing it?” It was your turn to frown. That was a question you weren’t exactly prepared for. More or less that was the last thing you expected him to ask. “Are you really equipped to take on something like this? Especially now?”
You glared now, “Are you questioning my credentials?”
“No, I have no doubt that you’re good in your field—”
“Excellent. I am excellent in my field.”
“—Your actions are unpredictable—”
“Ah, so you’re questioning my stability.” Your skin boiled with barely hidden rage. You wouldn’t let him see you snap like that. You wouldn’t break your resolve so easily around him again. “Afraid I’ll blow up another lab?”
Jake scowled, “That’s not funny.”
“It wasn’t a joke.”
It was a standoff. The two of you. Jake’s gaze was intense and yours severe. His jaw tightened and he shook his head with a humorless snicker, “You're impossible.”
“And you have no right to question whether or not I am in stable condition for a job I am qualified for.” You snapped back, your resolve barely holding by a thread. “So, is this what you wanted to talk to me about? Is that why you wanted to see me alone so that you could ridicule me without eyes watching? Do you think you’re a better man for that, Sully? Why don’t you just be straight with me, like you wanted? Stop fucking beating around the bush!”
“Yeah?” He challenged with a mocking chuckle. “You want me to be straight with you? Fine. Tsu’tey doesn’t trust you with Grace’s avatar—”
You scoffed, “Clearly!”
“—and I don’t either.”
With a shrug, you placed your tablet down, “Frankly, Sully, I have no interest in earning your trust. I’m here to do my job. That’s all. A job I have no choice in doing since I am stuck here on your planet. Trust has nothing to do with it.”
He looked resigned, guarding his face once more. The silence was all too consuming.
Jake didn’t want this. He was supposed to be making peace with you. At least attempt to be cordial with one another.
But you were impossible. You were difficult.
You saw no point to this conversation. Never did from the beginning. Why he wanted to talk to you in private only to rehash what’s already been said. What’s already been known. You didn’t understand what he was trying to do here. There was nothing else they could possibly talk about past the subject of the mysterious fetus. You did not want to be here.
He was impossible. He was difficult.
Jake straightened his back—a small inkling in the back of your mind wondered if that was the Marine in him. Standing to attention, as if addressing someone with power well above him. Or his enemy. You really couldn’t tell with them. “So where does that leave us?”
“It’s really simple, actually.” You crossed your arms. “The body can’t be moved. The avatar stays here. And so does the growing fetus. You clearly want it so it will be all yours when it’s born. Far away from my destructive hands. Does that work for you?”
After a long—unnecessary bout of silence—Jake finally pushed away from the tank, “Norm will be with you?”
You glared and clenched your jaw, “If that will get you to leave quicker, then yes.”
His tail lashed behind him, “Fine. Do what you want.”
Finally, he left. And you were alone.
After a moment of silence. After a moment of gathering yourself with a bit of pride left , you moved closer toward Dr. Augustine’s tank and frowned down at the growing stomach, “Good luck, kid. If you’re not careful, he just might end up as your father.”
Tumblr media
The following days continued as usual, except after you were done with your garden, you headed over to the tank room to check on the fetus. You did things like making sure it’s kept healthy and or safely growing in the womb. Surprisingly, it was just as peaceful as tending to your garden. Sometimes a few scientists would pop in every now and then to check on other tanks, but most times it was just you and Dr. Augustine’s avatar. And it wasn’t entirely so bad being in almost total silence for the first time in a while.
Neytiri would come to the gardens whenever she could. Either keeping you company while giving advice and directions about how to better your crops. Or gently scolding you about how loud you continue to be while trekking through the forest.
Today, you were doing the latter. It was something different, a little change in your usual routine. You now carried your tablet in a bag in case any alert from Dr. Augustine’s avatar notified you as you followed Neytiri through the forest. Mimicking her every movement like you had done last time.
“You move with the forest. You listen. You see.” Neytiri jumped over a branch as you finally finished the climb up the tree the both of you were on. A part of you was envious of her ability to climb with ease while your cheeks only flushed with both being out of breath and embarrassed as she watched you try and fail to climb this godforsaken tree.
“Okay,” You nodded as you settled on the branch with her. It was uncomfortable, especially squatting the way she was. “What exactly am I supposed to be seeing?”
Neytiri frowned, “I cannot make you see. Only you can.”
You looked down at your now bare feet, not really sure how to respond to that or what it really meant. And you had a feeling that if you asked again, she’d probably scold you for it and further confuse you. So instead you looked up at some of the leaves above you. You raised your hand and let your fingers gently graze it, so very gently as if it would crumble beneath your touch.
The forest was overwhelmingly beautiful. Every day it was like you were looking at it for the first time. The healthy trees and plants. The wildlife that you avoided but watched from afar. Hearing the quiet streams of water running about in whichever direction you turned.
Somedays it reminded you of what you lost back on Earth. What the world had done to it. And how many, many years ago it had once looked as beautiful as this.
On other days, you appreciated the forest. For its food, for its beauty. Sometimes you liked the idea of calling this place your new home even though you weren’t quite sure what the exact word ‘home’ meant to you right now.
While caught up in your misty thoughts, you missed the way Neytiri watched you quietly. How she noticed your hidden wonder. The way your lips almost curve up until it’s back in that firm straight line again. Or how your face became gentle even for the slightest second before it’s gone as quickly as it had come. Like you were consciously keeping yourself from being content.
It was intriguing, watching how Sky People worked. Though of course, Neytiri would never admit this out loud.
But most of all, it was intriguing—almost alluring—watching how you worked.
Eventually, she caught sight of your mother’s songcord still wrapped around your wrist with a small frown.
Your slow methodic thoughts were soon interrupted when Neytiri grasped the wrist with your mother’s songcord around it. Instantly you tensed as she brought your wrist closer for her to see. But once you realize she made no sudden moves to take the cord from you, you relax. Only slightly.
She thumbed one of the beads, “When you die, your family sings your songcord to remember your life. And then it is given back to you.” Neytiri looked at you then, curiously. “You do not know your mother’s songcord.”
It wasn’t a question but more a knowing statement. Carefully, you took your wrist back from hers and held it close to your chest, “Obviously, I didn’t get much of a chance to.”
She nodded but didn’t push on the subject. Instead, she stood up on the branch just as something shuffled below the both of you.
Neytiri grabbed your arm and pulled you to your feet, “Come, come!”
Shed led you through the trees. It was especially difficult to keep up going from branch to branch and copying her movements to the best of your ability. At some points, you nearly slipped only to be quickly caught by Neytiri and forced to keep going. You both admired and envied her ease in prowess.
At some point, you both landed in a tree that gave you both a good view of the forest floor. There, was a creature slinking around the thick bushes. Neytiri crouched on the branch to watch the creature just as another came out into the light.
“Nantang.” She pointed at the creature below. “You Sky People call them viperwolf.”
“Nantung.” You repeated slowly, crouching down next to her.
“Nantang.” She corrected.
“Nantang.”
With a small nod, she gave your forehead a little shove with an open palm hand, “You are not good with our language.”
But she didn’t seem annoyed when she said this. Instead, she looked rather amused with the way her ears were raised high and her tail swinging behind her.
Below you, the viperwolves began moving away from the trees and further within the bushes. You watched them curiously, moving Neytiri’s hand from your forehead, “Are they dangerous? The—Nantang?”
“Most are.” Neytiri frowned, dropping her hand to her side. She then stood. “We leave them be. We do not kill unless—unless we have no choice.”
“Hmm, so no hunting them then?” You watched her thoughtfully. “So are you guys vegetarians?” She stared at you blankly. You pressed your lips into a thin line and reconsidered your words, “Do you not eat any meat?”
Understanding crossed her features as she nodded, “We do. Just not them.”
You nodded, crossing your legs together on the branch you were sitting on as you thought about this. After another pause, you took out your tablet from your bag to take down some notes—only for Neytiri to smack your arm and scowl, “No. None of that! We move.”
“Alright, alright.” You sighed, placing your tablet back into your bag. “But if I slip again, just let me fall. I deserve it for being so unathletic.”
Neytiri rolled her eyes and pushed forward. Reluctantly, you followed her.

At some point, you stopped wearing shoes in your avatar body.
Tumblr media
After unlinking for the day, you headed over toward the tank room, only to find a certain Na’vi already there talking to Norm. Both noticed you and stopped whatever conversation they had upon seeing you enter.
“Ah, Reeds!” Norm cleared his throat as you approached Dr. Augustine’s avatar. “We were just finishing up here. We’ll be out of your way soon.”
You shrugged, tucking your tablet under your arm as you studied the controls of the avatar’s tank. “It’s not like you’re not allowed in this room. All I do is make sure the baby is healthy and leave. Doesn’t really take that long.” Eventually, you allowed yourself to acknowledge the Na’vi curtly. “Sully.”
“Dr. Reeds.” Jake nodded back with a tight, awkward smile.
“There haven’t been any big updates if that’s what you’re here for.” You said while staring at the avatar. It twitched every now and then as usual.
“We were just catching up.” Norm explained with a faint smile sent your way. “How’s the garden holding up?”
You shrugged, keeping your focus glued to your work, “Everything’s growing just fine. In a few weeks, we might be ready for harvesting. It’s actually fascinating how fast everything’s growing.” If you were in your avatar body, your tail would be wiggling from side to side at this revelation despite your monotone voice. “Neytiri’s been a big help too—the Na’vi way is a lot more effective compared to human techniques and efficiency. I’m actually starting to wonder what else I could learn from her…”’
It wasn’t intentional, but you were really beginning to become intrigued by the Na’vi and their culture. If you were going to be on Pandora—for what seemed like a long time—then you’d have to get accustomed to their ways at some point. Especially, when you didn’t have any particular interest in causing problems with them by doing everything wrong and very human-like. Attempting to do it their way was the only way to go and the easiest path so far.
Norm was grinning at you and you frowned, “What?”
“Nothing. I’ll leave you to it.” He then turned to Jake. “You stayin’ longer?”
Right, you had forgotten about him for a second. Briefly, with little interest, you glanced toward Jake who gave a short nod, “Yeah, I’ll stay for a little bit.” He then met your gaze, matching your guarded expression. “If that’s not a problem”
Norm watched the two of you, noticing the tension.
You stiffened. What the hell was this guy’s problem? Did he enjoy fighting with you, what was it? There was nothing stopping him from waiting until you were done so that he could have the room alone. But for some reason, he thought staying with you there was a good idea.
He must’ve been some kind of masochist. Yeah, had to be.
That, or he was keeping a close eye on you. After all, he did say that he didn’t trust you. Wouldn’t be a totally impossible thought.
So instead, you answered his question with one of your own, “Is it a problem for you?”
His tail swished behind him, “No. Not at all.”
He watched you. And you watched him.
You sniffed and returned your focus back on the avatar, “S’like I said. I won’t be long.”
Cautiously, Norm spoke, “I’ll leave the both of you to it then, yeah?” He walked passed to you, not before mumbling, “Play nice,” and he departed, leaving just you and Jake in the tank room.
The room was deathly quiet as you worked. You figured since Jake was going to be here watching over your every move, you’d ignore him and just do the work. Quick enough for you to leave and be out of his presence. That was all that mattered at the moment.
There was just nothing more to talk about with him. Besides the fetus, you couldn’t fathom what else there was to be discussed.
So far, you were actually doing a good job pretending he wasn’t there. Sure, he was a ten-foot-tall alien that practically towered over you and made you freeze every time something in the corner of your eye moved—it was him every time—the work in front of you was distracting enough. And so was observing the mysteriously pregnant and obviously brain-dead avatar.
It was weird, no, fascinating. How an avatar would end up pregnant without the user actively using it was beyond you. It was like one of those unsolved patient stories or records back on Earth. Only this time you didn’t have to worry much about necrophilia. At least you hoped you didn’t. You put that in your notes.
“I’m sorry about your mother.”
Despite your stubbornness, you froze. Unsure if what you heard was real or perhaps that you imagined it. A part of you hoped you imagined it. A part of you hoped that you had just gone crazy. Yes, that should’ve explained it. Some childish part of you just wanted someone to pity you for once. To say these words to you. And so you imagined them to cope. You imagined someone would for once see you passed the Dr. Reeds. Human. Demon.
It was only your imagination—
“And I’m sorry for how I acted before.” Jake continued on the other side of the tank. Your grip on your tablet tightened as you listened to him. He paused for a long moment as if carefully considering his words. “You’re in a difficult position and I didn’t make it easy on you. That’s on me.”
So much for ignoring him.
You forced yourself to look up at him, a frown on your lips, “What do you hope to gain from this? Why apologize now?”
He winced but didn’t back down. His resolve was much more brazen unlike yours which was still barely hanging on by a thread. Unlike you, he wasn’t exhausted keeping it up all the time. “A truce. Especially, since I will be visiting often.”
Now you were more annoyed than confused, “Why do you need to keep visiting? I already said there haven’t been any updates. Plus, Norm would be telling you whether or not you’re needed here—”
Jake shrugged, ears twitching, “Well if I’m hoping to be her father, I gotta see her progress for myself, don’t I?”
You stopped and watched him both warily and—maybe intrigued by this new piece of information. It wasn’t shocking, really. You kind of figured he would end up taking responsibility for this child. And you had no doubt Neytiri and—possibly Tsu’tey agreed to this considering how much all three of them seemed to care for Dr. Augustine. It wasn’t at all surprising that they decided to raise the child as if it were their own.
“And you’re willing to endure interactions with me for this child?” You chuckled humorlessly. “How brave of you.”
But Jake shook his head, “No, it’s not just about the baby. We have to work together on this. All this hostility—it has to end right here right now. We don’t have to like each other—but I will admit I wasn’t fair to you and I let the situation—your whole arrival get to me. A rookie mistake on my part. I thought—I was protecting my clan.”
For a moment you really considered him. Considered his words. Considered all of him. All of what you knew of Jake Sully so far.
And then you remember Norm’s words to you all those nights ago. When you were going to meet the Tsahik. You remember him saying that they were scared when you had arrived and you remembered understanding that. In the midst of your anger, you understood why they acted the way they did. Still to this day, a part of you knew they were justified in their hatred for the Sky People. Hell, you faced DeVoe and developed a certain dislike toward those people as well.
But it was still your anger. You would not take the blame for something that was out of your control. Something you had no part in. You would not apologize for being put in unfortunate circumstances.
Surprisingly, Jake seemed to read your mind as he said, “I’m not asking anything from you in return. Just a truce and an apology. You deserve that, at least.”
You pressed your lips into a thin line, clutching your tablet close to your chest, avoiding his gaze, his expectant look that waited for you to respond. Right now you really wished you were in your avatar body because you hated him looking down at you. You hated being small around him.
But your steeled spine made up for it at least. “We don’t have to like each other.”
Jake nodded, “We don’t.”
You sniffed, “Good. Because I don’t particularly like you still.”
“Yeah,” He sighed, massaging his face. “Sometimes I don’t either.”

Neytiri didn’t come the next day. Which wasn’t out of the ordinary. Some days she just didn’t come. She had a baby and a clan to worry about after all. You couldn’t exactly expect her to put all of that on hold for you and your little garden.
Plus, there wasn’t much to check in the garden anyway today. All you had to do was water it and make sure the sun was shining on the correct plants. So, you spent most of your time foraging in the forest—making less noise like Neytiri showed you—gathering new fruits and mushrooms to plant once your other ones were finished growing. Of course, you’ll already have the seeds from the newly grown plants but it was nice to have a few extras just in case.
When you finished your foraging and stored all the fruits and mushrooms in a safe place, you unlinked from your avatar and went to the tank room. Technically, you weren’t really required to check it every day once you got a better understanding of the tank. It was specifically created to hold a growing avatar, sure, but you didnt know if that stretched to a pregnant avatar or not. So checking on it every day was an extra precaution.
You weren’t exactly well informed about how the whole avatar creation or technology worked. All you knew was the information that was given to you through your mother’s diary videos. Even then she really didn’t go into too much detail about it as she kept jumping from one point to another with haste and excitement.
So, during your visits to the tank room, you took notes. By now you are almost halfway through your journal the more you write. And it wasn’t even organized, just a bunch of random notes and thoughts on a piece of paper. With writing that looked like chicken scratch.
When you had nothing more to write or look at on the tablet, you examined what would be Dr. Augustine’s face on the avatar.
Norm came in at some point and you asked him, “What was she like? Dr. Augustine.”
He’d smile fondly at the avatar, his eyes glazed over in memory, “A brilliant woman who cared a lot for the Na’vi. You know she had a school? It’s what made her fall in love with it all. The children loved her.”
You raised your brows curiously when he said that, “You mention you’re around children for most of your day. Are you running her school now or something?”
“No.” He laughed as if the thought were impossible. “No, I just help out with the Omatikaya children whenever I can. Sure, I do teach them English but not on the level Grace did it. Not even close.” His eyes twinkled when he looked at you. “I think she would’ve liked you.”
You didn’t say anything to that. Instead, you offered, “Don’t sell yourself short, Spellman.”
“Same to you, Reeds.”
A few days went by and it was time to harvest your garden.
Neytiri came with Neteyam strapped to her chest. He was wide awake, staring around wide-eyed and curious as usual. Your chest felt just a bit lighter watching him, his innocence so very infectious. You had never been around many babies—no younger siblings and all. It was always you and your mother. And many other scientists. Come to think of it, you weren’t really surrounded by many children your age. If any at all.
You filled the second basket up with more fruits from your garden before glancing toward Neytiri who was picking the mushrooms and collecting them in her arms.
“How are they?” You called.
Neytiri looked back at you and nodded, “Very healthy. Enough to feed an entire village.”
You walked over to her and hummed, tail swinging slightly. “You think it’s too much?”
She shook her head and smiled contently, “No, you did really well with them. Do you plan to make more once you’ve harvested?”
“That’s the hope.” You nodded, crossing your arms. Neteyam’s large yellow eyes looked at you quietly as you moved around her to get a better look at the mushrooms. “Maybe I’ll dial it back with the next one. Technically, I didn’t plant these, all we did was save it from dying. Imagine if we let them die, all of this. What a waste it would’ve been.”
“I’ll help whenever you do,” Neytiri assured, which surprised you. She then grabbed your wrist. “Come. We should put this all away. We’ll travel through the trees again today.”
Intrigued by this, you nodded. After you brought all the freshly picked fruits, vegetables, and mushrooms to the scientists to put away, you followed Neytiri into the forest.
It was the same as last time. Both you and Neytiri quietly moved through the trees—it was a struggle still to climb again but thankfully Neytiri didn’t notice. Or if she did, she didn’t say anything. Just correct your body whenever you are doing something wrong. Whenever she did correct you though, it made the climb a little easier as you went.
You ran into one of those viperwolves but were able to get past them without any problems—again, thanks to Neytiri. But you did eventually end up running into a couple more creatures that seemed to be less dangerous.
One of them being those horse-like creatures.
“Pa’li,” Neytiri had called these creatures while petting one of them.
You watched them in awe and interest as she mounted it. She took her braid—queue—and placed it near the pa’li’s antenna. Your eyes widened when the tendrils between the queue and the antenna connected. Once it did, the creature calmed underneath Neytiri. Becoming familiar with her, as if they had known each other for a while. And maybe they did.
Neytiri smiled down at it, “We bond with them just as we bond with the rest of the life here. It is our way.”
A few other pa’li galloped toward you. One nudged past you but was quite skittish about it. At first, you didn’t approach it right away. Instead, you tried to remember how Neytiri did it. Slow in approach, which actually worked. The pa’li watched you, both warily and intrigued.
When you were close enough, you grabbed your queue and placed it near the antenna. Awed, you watched the tendrils slowly connect. A sudden unfamiliar feeling hit your body when your queue connected with the pa’li. The sensations were strange but you felt another emotion that wasn’t your own. The pa’li.
Scared but curious about you. Hesitant to get near you but also feeling the bond beginning through your queue. It was all so strange and unlike anything you’ve ever felt before.
A sudden shudder hit your spine just as the pa’li screeched and ran off, breaking the connection.
You grunted while Neytiri laughed, “Maybe next time, tanhi.”
There was a small pout on your lips, a quiet part of you missing the strange and new connection, “Guess I’m just not an animal person.”
“You will try again soon.” She assured as she slid off her pa’li with Neteyam babbling against her chest. “But it will not be today. I must leave for a hunt soon. Another day, perhaps, I will teach you.”
You were surprised at this, “Really? Teaching a Sky Person, huh? Does that mess with you morally or…?”
Neytiri frowned, “Teaching you will help you survive. Not me.” She patted the snout of the pa’li before watching it gallop away with his group. “It is not the first time I have taught a Sky Person our way.”
It took you a moment to realize what she meant, “You taught Sully, didn’t you?”
She did not answer this of course, but you had a feeling you already knew it without her having to say it. “Do you want to learn or not?”
Your tail swished, Neytiri noticed. “I’d like that. Besides, you’re a pretty good teacher as far as I can tell. I don’t think I’d want anyone else.” There was probably no one else who would even offer to teach you like Neytiri did. So, this was the kind of offer you couldn’t refuse.
Neytiri nodded, the beginnings of a smile reaching her lips. For a moment you admired her smile.
And then the next you envied it.

Jake was in the tank room on another day. You entered as usual in human form. A week had passed since your agreed-upon ‘truce’ and you were slowly growing accustomed to his presence the best way you could. Most days, he wasn’t always there. Those were the days when you were relieved and felt like you could relax a bit.
But on the days he was there, you took to ignoring him like you originally planned. And thankfully, he didn’t seem bothered by that. Sometimes he’d ask questions here and there about the fetus, but other than that, the two of you were in your own little worlds.
And you were fine with this. Perhaps Jake had the right idea about this little truce. It certainly made things easier. You were still tense around him of course—mostly because you felt like he was watching you whenever he thought you weren’t looking—but it was manageable.
Upon observing the avatar, you noticed the belly bump becoming just a little more visible as time went by—which wasn’t much time at all. You began to wonder about the differences between Na’vi pregnancy to human pregnancy.
Currently, you are going through past video logs of Grace Augustine to get some idea of how her avatar came to be pregnant.
Once more you were reminded that you weren’t alone as Jake spoke from the other side of the room, “Any theories?”
You glanced over your shoulder to see that he was watching you work with an intense look—or maybe his face was naturally like that.
A beat went by before you considered responding to his question, “Besides divine intervention? No, not really.” You turned back to the logs and made a face when Norm started showing up more in her videos. You turned back to Jake who was still watching you, “Norm and Grace didn’t—”
“No, no, they didn’t.” Jake quickly said, looking just as uncomfortable as you felt asking. “God, at least I hope they didn’t—I wasn’t always around them when linked up—he was always with Trudy actually—you know what, I rather not think about it.”
You hummed, “It was worth a shot asking.” After shutting and placing your tablet down on the table you sat at, you sunk further into your chair as you began mumbling to yourself. “Looks like I might as well have to stick with your Eywa impregnating her. Virgin Mary and all.”
“Right.”
Another silence settled between you two. You wrote down in your notes while absentmindedly listening to Jake’s quiet breaths further behind you, too acutely aware of his presence.
“About what I said about not trusting you…” Jake started and you refrained from rolling your eyes at the interruption of your note-taking and thoughts. “I’m not here to monitor you or anything and I didn’t mean—”
“Sure you did.” You say simply, glancing back at him with an impassive expression. “No point in going back on it now.”
“I was reckless with my words—”
“Reckless words have some truth to them.” You shrugged and turned back to your notes. “If it helps, I don’t trust you either, Sully.”
“Neytiri does.” That made you pause. That made you look back at him in both defense and confusion, trying to figure out just what he was trying to get at here. Jake wore a look of contemplation as if he were trying to figure something out himself, “She was the first one to agree to you watching over Grace’s kid. She fought Tsu’tey on it when usually she’d be on his side whenever it came to humans. That means something to me.”
You considered his words. Truth be told, you didn’t know why Neytiri agreed to it. Frankly, it was going to happen either way—but having Neytiri unexpectedtly on board with the plan wasn’t something any of you saw coming. You still didn’t necessarily know how to feel about that yet.
But it seemed Jake did.
Instead of addressing it, you clicked your pen close, “I’ll send updates through Norm if anything changes. Maybe through Neytiri too whenever she makes her rounds over here.”
After a pause, Jake nodded, “Copy that.” Surprisingly—and quite relieving—he began to take his leave. Which meant that the conversation was now done, thankfully. Before he left the room, he turned back to you with a twitch of his tail, “And thank you, Doc.”
“Just doing my job, Sully.” You shrugged, closing your notebook. “It’s about time, right?”
Tumblr media
It meant something. It had to. Even if he wasn’t sure if he believed in all this Eywa stuff, he believed in Neytiri. He respected Mo’at.
They saw something in you that he clearly could not see just yet. Perhaps it was now time he had to open his eyes.
Perhaps it was time for Jake to finally see.

The night was alive with the soft, melodic hum of Pandora's bioluminescent flora. A faint breeze rustled the leaves of strange trees, and the stars above sparkled like scattered diamonds. (Y/N) stood beneath the alien sky, marveling at the beauty of this vibrant world.
Once, she had been a sky person, a scientist sent to Pandora to study its unique plant life. But life had taken a turn she could never have imagined. She had undergone the Avatar program, and now she had her own Na'vi body, a body she had come to love and cherish.
Over time, as she immersed herself in Na'vi culture and explored the lush landscape, (Y/N) found herself drawn to Tsu'tey, a fierce and noble warrior of the Omaticaya clan. His strength, wisdom, and the way he moved with the grace of a predator in the forest had captivated her heart.
However, as fate would have it, another love story was unfolding on Pandora. Jake Sully, the human who had become a Na'vi, had fallen deeply in love with Neytiri, the daughter of the clan leader. Their bond was undeniable, and their love grew stronger with each passing day.
(Y/N) struggled with her feelings for Tsu'tey, torn between her affection for him and the knowledge that Jake and Neytiri's love was destined to be. She often sought solace in the bioluminescent forests, hoping that the wisdom of Eywa, the living spirit of Pandora, would guide her.
One fateful night, as the moon hung low in the sky, (Y/N) and Tsu'tey found themselves beneath the sacred Tree of Voices. The ancient tree's soft whispers seemed to beckon them closer, and their hearts led them to each other. Under the watchful gaze of Eywa, they mated, their love transcending the boundaries of their different origins.
As time passed, the tension between the Na'vi and the sky people escalated, leading to a catastrophic war. (Y/N) fought alongside her Na'vi brothers and sisters, determined to protect the land and people she had come to call home. The conflict raged on, the battles were fierce, and losses were heavy on both sides.
It was in the aftermath of one such battle, amid the scars of war, that (Y/N) received news that would change everything. She discovered that she was pregnant, carrying the child who would be the heir of Tsu'tey, the child born of their love. Her heart swelled with hope and uncertainty, for this new life represented a bridge between two worlds, a symbol of unity and a chance for redemption.
Upon finding out the news she touched her abdomen, feeling the life growing within, (Y/N) knew that the challenges ahead were immense. But she also knew that the love she shared with Tsu'tey and the bond she had with Pandora's people would give her the strength to face whatever the future held.
The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm, amber glow over the lush, alien landscape of Pandora. (Y/N) stood at the edge of the clearing, gazing out at the rolling hills and bioluminescent flora that stretched as far as the eye could see. It had been weeks since the destruction of Hometree at the hands of the Sky People, and life among the Omaticaya clan had changed dramatically.
Beside her, Tsu'tey, his tall and muscular form silhouetted against the fading light, watched the same landscape. He had become the clan leader, a position he had never sought but had embraced with a fierce determination. The loss of Hometree had been a deep wound in the heart of the Na'vi, and the Omaticaya had been scattered in the aftermath, forced to relocate and adapt to a new way of life.
"(Y/N)," Tsu'tey spoke softly, his voice tinged with sadness. "Our home, our Hometree, is gone. But we must move forward, rebuild, and find a new place to call our own."
(Y/N) turned to look at him, her eyes reflecting the same sadness. "I know, Tsu'tey. And I want to help rebuild our clan. I want to build a new home, one where our people can thrive once again."
Tsu'tey placed a hand on her shoulder, his touch reassuring. "You have a strong spirit, (Y/N), and a heart filled with love for our people. We will find a way, together."
As the weeks passed, the Omaticaya clan worked tirelessly to establish a new settlement. It was a challenging endeavor, but their determination was unwavering. Tsu'tey, as the leader, was often at the forefront, guiding and motivating the clan members. (Y/N), too, played her part, using her knowledge of the land and her skills to help gather resources and build shelters.
One evening, as the two of them sat by the fire, (Y/N) hesitated for a moment before speaking. "Tsu'tey, there's something I need to tell you." Her voice trembled with a mix of excitement and nervousness.
Tsu'tey turned to her, his amber eyes filled with curiosity. "What is it, (Y/N)?"
Taking a deep breath, she placed a hand on her belly, her eyes glistening with tears of joy. "I'm carrying our child, Tsu'tey. I'm pregnant."
For a moment, Tsu'tey was silent, his gaze locked on (Y/N)'s face. Then, a radiant smile spread across his features, and he pulled her into a tight embrace. "This is wonderful news, (Y/N)! Our family will grow, and our love will only strengthen."
Tears of happiness filled (Y/N)'s eyes as she hugged him back. "I knew you would be happy, Tsu'tey."
Tsu'tey kissed her forehead and whispered, "I promise to support our family to the fullest, (Y/N). Our child will grow up surrounded by the love of the Omaticaya clan, and we will build a future where they can thrive."
As they held each other by the firelight, the stars overhead began to twinkle in the alien sky, casting their blessings on this new chapter in the lives of (Y/N) and Tsu'tey. Together, they would face the challenges of rebuilding, parenthood, and a future filled with hope.
The first month of pregnancy for (Y/N) was a period of quiet excitement and newfound awareness. As soon as she shared the news with Tsu'tey, their bond grew even stronger, and they embarked on this journey together with a sense of wonder.
During this initial month, (Y/N) experienced a range of physical and emotional changes. While some women might not yet be aware of their pregnancy at this stage, (Y/N) had a deep connection to her body and noticed subtle shifts.
Morning sickness made its presence felt, though it wasn't just limited to the mornings. There were moments of queasiness that could strike at any time of the day. She found comfort in sipping herbal teas that the clan's healers recommended to ease the nausea. Tsu'tey was always by her side, ready with soothing words and a helping hand whenever she needed it.
Fatigue was another constant companion during the first month. (Y/N) often found herself needing more rest than usual, and Tsu'tey made sure she had a comfortable place to rest and recuperate. The Omaticaya clan members, aware of their leader's impending fatherhood, were also supportive, offering assistance with chores and responsibilities.
Emotionally, (Y/N) experienced a mix of happiness, anticipation, and occasional anxiety. She couldn't help but wonder about the kind of parent she would be and how their child would fit into the clan's evolving dynamics. Tsu'tey was her anchor during these moments of reflection, assuring her that they would face the future together, as a strong and loving family.
As the first month passed, the news of (Y/N)'s pregnancy gradually spread throughout the clan. The Omaticaya celebrated the impending arrival of a new member with joy and hope, and they gathered around the couple, offering blessings and support.
Tsu'tey, who had been busy with the responsibilities of leadership, took moments to connect with (Y/N) and the life growing inside her. He would place his hand gently on her belly, feeling a sense of wonder as he imagined their child's future among the Na'vi.
The first month of pregnancy for (Y/N) was a time of gentle transitions and growing anticipation. She and Tsu'tey faced the challenges and joys of this new chapter with love, determination, and the unwavering support of the Omaticaya clan.
The second and third months of (Y/N)'s pregnancy brought with them a deeper sense of purpose and a heightened awareness of the challenges ahead. Balancing the responsibilities of helping the village rebuild with the anticipation of their growing family tested both (Y/N) and Tsu'tey in unique ways.
As the weeks passed, (Y/N) found herself adjusting to the physical changes of pregnancy. Her morning sickness began to ease, bringing some relief. Still, she had to be mindful of her energy levels and listen to her body's cues, which sometimes meant stepping back from strenuous tasks. The healers of the Omaticaya clan continued to offer guidance and support, ensuring her well-being.
Tsu'tey, as the clan leader, faced a relentless stream of decisions and duties related to the village's reconstruction. He leaned on the strength and resilience of his people, delegating tasks to clan members to ensure the new settlement continued to grow. At the same time, he made a conscious effort to be there for (Y/N), recognizing that her well-being and their growing family were his top priorities.
Together, (Y/N) and Tsu'tey navigated the challenges of rebuilding their lives while preparing for the arrival of their child. They shared moments of quiet reflection in the evenings, talking about their hopes and dreams for their family. Tsu'tey often spoke about teaching their child the ways of the Na'vi, passing down the traditions and values of their clan.
The Omaticaya clan, aware of their leader's impending fatherhood, rallied around the couple. They helped with household chores, ensured that (Y/N) had access to nutritious meals, and offered their wisdom on parenting and raising a child within the clan. The sense of community and support was a constant source of strength for (Y/N) and Tsu'tey.
During the second and third months, (Y/N) began to feel the first flutters of the baby's movements within her womb. Each kick and twist filled her with awe, reminding her of the life growing inside her. Tsu'tey would often place his hand on her belly, feeling the gentle movements, and they would share smiles and whispered words of love for their unborn child.
While the challenges of rebuilding their village remained, the anticipation of their growing family served as a beacon of hope. (Y/N) and Tsu'tey knew that their child would be born into a world of resilience, love, and unity, surrounded by the warm embrace of the Omaticaya clan.
During the fourth, fifth, and sixth months of (Y/N)'s pregnancy, the physical demands of carrying their child became more pronounced, and (Y/N) found herself struggling with feelings of frustration and inadequacy. In the vibrant world of the Na'vi, where strength and agility were highly valued, she couldn't help but feel like she was falling short.
As she watched other pregnant Na'vi women in the clan continue to ride their ikran and participate in hunting expeditions, (Y/N) felt a growing sense of frustration. She had always been an active member of the Omaticaya clan, and now, as her pregnancy advanced, she found it increasingly difficult to keep up with her usual activities.
One day, as (Y/N) sat by a clear river, her thoughts weighed down by her perceived shortcomings, Jake Sully approached her. He had lived among the Na'vi and understood both their culture and her unique situation as a human who had become one of them.
"(Y/N)," Jake said gently, sitting down beside her. "I've noticed that you're feeling down lately. What's been bothering you?"
Tears welled up in (Y/N)'s eyes as she confessed her feelings of uselessness. "I see the other Na'vi women continuing their daily activities, riding ikran and hunting, and here I am struggling just to walk without feeling exhausted. I feel like I'm letting everyone down."
Jake placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "I understand why you're feeling this way, (Y/N). But remember, you were once a human, and human women have different experiences during pregnancy. Your body has been through a remarkable transformation, adapting to the ways of the Na'vi. You're carrying a child who will be part of both worlds, and that makes your journey unique."
(Y/N) looked at Jake, her eyes filled with gratitude. "But I still want to contribute, to be a part of the clan's activities."
Jake nodded with a knowing smile. "You don't have to be a warrior or a hunter to contribute, (Y/N). Your wisdom, your love, and the unique perspective you bring to our clan are invaluable. You're carrying the future of our people, and that's the most important role of all."
Touched by Jake's words, (Y/N) wiped away her tears. She realized that her journey through pregnancy was bound to be different, but it was no less significant. She had a loving partner in Tsu'tey, the support of the Omaticaya clan, and the wisdom of Jake to guide her through this unique experience.
As the months passed, (Y/N) embraced her role as a mother-to-be with newfound confidence. She may not have been riding ikran or hunting, but she was nurturing a new life, one that would bridge the gap between two worlds. With the support of her loved ones and a sense of purpose, she found joy and fulfillment in the path that lay ahead, ready to welcome their child into a world of unity and understanding.
The seventh month of (Y/N)'s pregnancy brought with it a sense of eager anticipation. As her belly continued to swell with the growing life inside, she and Tsu'tey decided to set aside a special day to choose names for their soon-to-arrive baby. It was a tradition among the Na'vi to carefully select names that held deep meaning, reflecting the hopes and dreams for the child.
One warm and tranquil afternoon, (Y/N) and Tsu'tey found a quiet spot beneath the shade of a large willow tree by the river. They sat cross-legged on a woven mat, facing each other, their hands intertwined. The gentle breeze rustled the leaves above, and the sounds of the forest provided a soothing backdrop for their important task.
Tsu'tey spoke first, a thoughtful expression on his face. "I've been thinking about names for our child, (Y/N). For a boy, I like the name Nari. It means 'strong,' and I hope our son will grow to be as strong as our clan."
(Y/N) smiled at the choice. "Nari is a wonderful name, Tsu'tey. For a girl, I've been considering Aluna. It means 'peace,' and I want our daughter to bring peace to our hearts and our clan."
Tsu'tey nodded in agreement. "Aluna is a beautiful name. Strong and peaceful, just like you, (Y/N)."
They continued to brainstorm names, taking turns suggesting options and discussing their meanings. For a boy, they considered names like Tarok, meaning 'brave,' and for a girl, Neytiri, in honor of their dear friend and fellow clan member. Each name carried a special significance, representing qualities they wished for their child.
As they deliberated, (Y/N) felt a deep connection with Tsu'tey and their growing family. She realized that this was not just a choice of names; it was a celebration of their love, their hopes, and their shared future. The anticipation of meeting their child in just a few short months filled their hearts with joy.
After much thought and consideration, they settled on the names. For a boy, they chose Nari, a name representing strength, and for a girl, Aluna, embodying peace. With these names in mind, they felt even more connected to the life growing within (Y/N)'s belly, eager to welcome Nari or Aluna into their loving arms.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, (Y/N) and Tsu'tey held each other close, their hearts filled with gratitude and excitement. They knew that the journey ahead would be a remarkable one, and they were ready to embrace it together as a family, with Nari or Aluna at its heart.
The eighth month of (Y/N)'s pregnancy brought with it a sense of camaraderie among the Na'vi women of the Omaticaya clan. Neytiri, who had become like a sister to (Y/N) and Tsu'tey, was more than happy to lend her support to the pregnant women of the tribe. It was a time when the women came together, sharing their experiences, wisdom, and traditions.
On a bright and sunny morning, the pregnant Na'vi women gathered beneath the shade of a massive tree in the heart of the clan's new settlement. They sat on woven mats, surrounded by baskets filled with vibrant blooms and fragrant herbs. The air was filled with the sweet scent of flowers and the soft hum of conversation.
Neytiri, with her gentle smile and nurturing spirit, led the gathering. She had graciously taken on the role of guiding the expectant mothers through this phase of their journey. (Y/N) sat among the women, her pregnant belly a testament to the life she carried within.
As the women worked together, weaving intricate flower crowns and arranging the blooms into beautiful bouquets, they shared stories of their own pregnancies, recalling the joys and challenges they had faced. Some spoke of the excitement of their first child, while others offered advice on coping with the physical changes that came with pregnancy.
Neytiri, with her wealth of knowledge, shared traditional Na'vi remedies and practices that could alleviate discomfort and promote the well-being of both mother and child. Her presence was a source of comfort and inspiration for (Y/N) and the other expectant mothers.
"(Y/N)," Neytiri said, turning to her with a warm smile, "You are a part of our clan, and your journey is a unique one. You may have been born human, but your heart is Na'vi. We are here to support you as you bring a child into our world, and we are honored to share in this experience with you."
Tears of gratitude welled up in (Y/N)'s eyes as she nodded. She had come to love her Na'vi family deeply, and this gathering of women was a reminder of the strength of their community. They were united not just by blood but by their shared values, traditions, and the bonds they had formed.
As the day passed, the women wove their stories and their flower crowns together, creating memories that would forever be etched in their hearts. The eighth month of (Y/N)'s pregnancy became a time of connection and celebration, a testament to the beauty of unity and the enduring spirit of the Omaticaya clan.
The ninth month of (Y/N)'s pregnancy was filled with eager anticipation and the feeling that their child's arrival was imminent. She stood with the other Na'vi women, watching the horizon for the return of their mates, husbands, brothers, and fathers from the hunting party. The air was charged with excitement, and a sense of unity enveloped the waiting group.
As they scanned the distant landscape, (Y/N) suddenly felt a sharp pain in her abdomen. She gasped, clutching her belly as a warm rush of fluid signaled that her water had broken. Panic and realization washed over her, and she turned to the women beside her, trying to convey her urgency with wide eyes.
Without hesitation, the Na'vi women swiftly guided (Y/N) toward the healing tent. Her contractions intensified, and she couldn't help but cry out for Tsu'tey, her voice filled with longing. She wanted him there with her during this pivotal moment, but the urgency of the situation pressed on.
Inside the healing tent, the skilled healers and midwives immediately recognized that (Y/N) was in labor. They began to attend to her, guiding her into a birthing pool and providing comfort as the contractions grew stronger and closer together. Despite their best efforts, (Y/N) was already deep into labor and had to begin pushing.
Each push was met with determination and courage, but (Y/N) continued to call out for Tsu'tey, her heart aching for his presence. Her strength wavered, but she drew from the support of the healers and the women around her.
Meanwhile, the hunting party returned to the village, led by Jake Sully. Jake had noticed (Y/N)'s and Neytiri’s absence amongst the crowd of woman, a healer approached Tsu'tey with a sense of urgency, relaying the news of her labor. Panic and worry etched across Tsu'tey's face, and he wasted no time rushing to the tent where (Y/N) was giving birth.
Inside the tent, (Y/N) lay in the birthing pool, her body glistening with sweat, her voice filled with both pain and determination. Neytiri, her trusted friend and clan sister, stood by her side, offering words of encouragement.
And then, in a moment that felt like an eternity, (Y/N) gave one final push. The room seemed to hold its breath as she brought their child into the world. With a triumphant cry, her baby boy took his first breath, and the room erupted in joyous celebration.
Tsu'tey entered the tent just in time to witness the miraculous moment. His heart swelled with pride and love as he rushed to (Y/N)'s side, tears in his eyes. Together, they marveled at the tiny, precious life they had brought into their clan.
Neytiri, with a grin that stretched from ear to ear, announced, "It's a boy!" The healing tent filled with cheers and laughter, and the clan members celebrated the arrival of the newest member of the Omaticaya clan.
In the midst of the joyous chaos, (Y/N) and Tsu'tey shared a moment of profound connection as they held their newborn son in their arms. It was a testament to their love and strength as a couple and their unwavering bond with their Na'vi family. The birth of their son marked the beginning of a new chapter filled with hope, unity, and love.
Later that night, as (Y/N) rested in the birthing tent, Tsu'tey sat by the soft glow of a bioluminescent plant, cradling their newborn son in his large, gentle hands. The baby nestled peacefully against his chest, his tiny fingers curled around Tsu'tey's finger.
Tsu'tey looked down at the sleeping infant with a soft smile, his deep amber eyes filled with wonder. "Your mom says babies on Earth are tiny," he whispered, his voice barely above a hushed tone, "At first, I didn't believe her, but now, seeing and holding you, I can confidently say your mother was correct."
He chuckled softly, his tone filled with love and amusement. "You are a little warrior, aren't you? Just like your mother and your father." Tsu'tey's heart swelled with pride as he continued to speak to his son.
"You have a world of adventure ahead of you, my son," Tsu'tey murmured, his voice filled with a promise, "And I will always be here to guide you, to protect you, and to love you, no matter how old you may get."
The baby stirred slightly, his eyes flickering open for a brief moment before drifting back into peaceful slumber. Tsu'tey's heart melted as he watched his son, marveling at the tiny life he held in his hands.
With a tender kiss on the baby's forehead, Tsu'tey continued to whisper words of love and protection into the night, ensuring that their newborn son would always know the depth of his father's devotion and the warmth of their family's embrace.

helloo! just wanna say that your writing is so good! could i request neteyam(or the sully kids), lo'ak and tsu'tey with fem! reader who's on her period? how would they deal with the bleeding and react? thank you ૮ ˶´ ᵕˋ ˶ა
sully kids, tsu'tey x human! reader
ft— neteyam, lo’ak, kiri, tuk, tsu'tey warnings— mentions of blood, inappropriate language(sperm, etc.), might be ooc? can be seen as platonic/romantic for neteyam/lo'ak. tsu'tey and reader are dating/the female na’vi’s do not menstruate, fluff!! not proof read but i will later, hopefully. a/n— tysm anon! i've been thinking about the boys with reader who's on her period and then this request comes in, thank you!! also spider isn’t in here because.. no. i’m sorry to everybody who wanted him in here. anything with tsu’tey in it is in avatar 2, he’s still alive. unless you request or i write it during avatar 1. synopsis— when your period arrives, they are curious and scared about why you're bleeding from that area, you explain to them about the female anatomy.
Tumblr media
"Wait... so you bleed from there every month?" they asked, you nod.
they stare at you in disbelief, mouth wide open and eyes bugged, you chuckle from their reaction, “so what do you have to do to stop the bleeding?”
you pull out a thick cloth from your satchel and fold it until it’s the right size. “this.” you say while holding it up
they exchange glances at the piece of cloth and you, when they don’t say anything and just continue to stare at the cloth and then at you, you sigh before speaking.
“i put it under where the blood comes from, and then i wash the cloth and reuse. if i can’t then i just get another cloth and then do the same thing, understand now?”
they squint their eyes, unsure of what to make of this, determined to make them understand you decide to teach them the (human) female anatomy.
Tumblr media
sully kids x human! reader
Kiri, tuk and lo’ak were talking to each other, wondering what you were going to be teaching them, neteyam on the other hand, watched you as you walk around to find a stick to use, his eyebrows raises when he sees you running toward where the group was, a stick in your hand. Once you reach them you sit down beside kiri, using the stick, you start to draw a human body on the sand, a very poorly drawn human body, well at least what resembles a body anyway. Everybody leaned in closer to look at your drawing, “hm.. okay! so this is the part where the blood comes from,” you say, pointing to the lower part of the body in between the legs, “okay?”, they nod, kiri and neteyam look at you which prompts you to go on. ”So this area...”, pointing at the uterus, “is the uterus, correct?” you ask, when they nod you start to draw lines coming out of the uterus and out of the part(v). “This is the period.” you say, pointing at the lines. “So every month a female starts her period which should only last for a week, the uterus lining, which is like tissue from our uterus, shreds because the egg hasn’t been fertilized.” Upon hearing the last sentence everybody raised their eyebrows. ”What egg? do you have a egg in you?!” tuk questions, worry filled her voice, she almost faints. You found it hilarious that she thought that, then neteyam and lo’ak also asked if you had an egg in you and if you were okay, you could see the worry on their faces, shaking your head you giggled, lo’ak stared at you in disbelief, why were you laughing at this serious matter? ”No no, not a literal egg. it’s like a small little thing in our ovary, it’s one of the main things that you need to get pregnant. Once the.. sperm reaches the egg,  the egg gets fertilized and you know, you get pregnant!”, once you were done talking you noticed how they all look dazed, their smiles faltering, like they didn’t understand, but you could understand. I mean, you were quite literally saying words that they didn’t understand. Sooner or later after you stopped talking, they started to ask you questions, what is “sperm”? why is the female body so “complicated”? and such. Kiri and tuk would grimace, scrunching their face, even sticking out their tongue in disgust whenever you answered their or the others questions. Lo’ak and neteyam were both slightly disgusted but interested. You then go on to explain how some girls experience cramps and mood swings when on their period. Neteyam expressions seem to soften after hearing the problems that you, girls, have to go through, while lo’ak expressions seem to harden, why did you, girls, have to go through that? Tuk shivers when she hears you talk more about periods. They all were interested in periods, all paying extreme attention to what you had to say. Kiri laid her hand on your thigh, giving you a sorrowful look. “I’m so sorry you have to deal with all of that... i’m so glad that we don’t have to go through that.” Tuk nodded, agreeing with kiri’s statement. You placed your hand over kiri’s, giving her a gentle smile you spoke, “it’s fine kiri, honestly, i’ve had it for a long time now, i’m used to it.” You pulled your hand back, kiri doing the same. After a few seconds lo’ak’s eye widens, he was crouching down, but after something had popped into his mind he moved closer to you, still crouching. “How can we help you?”, his voice was serious yet it also sounded like he was worried. ”Hm, well there’s nothing you can do really, but i guess for period cramps something warm? having an extra cloth on you and listening to someone rambling and comforting them when they’re having mood swings.” you answer, putting on your thinking face. While you’re still thinking for more things, you dont realize that all the sully children are taking in what you’re saying and remembering, so next time you have cramps or is leaking they have everything prepared. Every example you give they’re taking notes mentally, Lo’ak asks you more questions so that he can be FULLY prepared when you’re on your period, especially when you’re early. Neteyam, kiri and tuk are nodding at everything you say, remembering what you’re talking about. Once you’re done explaining you notice that they are all eager to go off somewhere. They all looked like they wanted to be somewhere, right now. When you all say your goodbye’s neteyam is off to his marui, grabbing some spare cloths. Lo’ak is off to grab everything to make the “heat pad”, cloths and something soft and some sewing materials. Kiri and tuk both run off to ronal, the tsahìk to ask for some pain killers. ”Pain killers? and for what?” ronal spoke, raising her eyebrows, eyeing the two young girls. Kiri and tuk exchange looks and giggle before answering ronal, “nothing!” Ronal contemplates whether or not to give the pain killers to kiri and tuk but in the end she gives in. They would all fight for your thanks' and fight to help you really, an example, you’re sitting on a rock, your legs swaying in the water, the sully children are playing in the water, chasing each other in the water when you feel a sudden pain in your abdomen. It was your cramps, again. Sighing you reach into your satchel, putting your hands in the pocket you feel for your pain killers but after trying to grab nothing you looked into your bag, a look of devastation feel on your face. Neteyam heard your groans and whimpering, just a few feet away from where he and his siblings were. His head popped up from the water, gasping for air once he got up, he turned around to see where you were, once you were in his sight his face dropped, you were tightly hugging your waist, your eyes were closed shut, you mouth agape, groaning. Wasting no time he quickly swims to where you sat and hopped on the rock, looking up you see neteyam standing next to you, his eyes said everything. ”Are you okay? do you need anything? period cramps?” with his question you nod eagerly. Neteyam hurriedly rummaged through his satchel when he saw shadows in the water approaching you two, neteyam closed his satchel, he fiercely stood right next to you, fists balled just in case ao’nung and his gang were going to cause trouble to you and him. Once neteyam seems the familiar faces rising up and popping up and gasping for air he eased, “What’s wrong neteyam? you just left us- oh, y/n? are you okay?!” kiri rushed to you, climbing on the rock and sitting beside you, placing her hands on your shoulder, looking at tuk she nodded and tuk swam closer to you and sat on the rock with you, but before tuk could open her satchel neteyam interrupted her, “what are you doing?” Tuk paused, looking up at her older brother her lips curved into a smile, “just giving y/n some pain killers, why?”, tuk saw how neteyam glared at her, playfully if you can even call it that. “Was going to give her some too..” he mumbled, gripping your stomach you looked at neteyam and gave him a faint smile, giving tuk one as well. Lo’ak and kiri then hopped on the rock and started to question if you were okay, when you told them that your stomach hurt they both opened their satchels, they were about to grab the pain killers when they stopped. Everybody looked at each other with confusion, kiri and lo’ak smiled in mischief, both grabbing the pain killers and offering it to you. Neteyam stood beside you, watching his brother and sister offer their pain killers to you, he wanted to give you the pain killers that he had, to you, but he didn’t want to cause a scene so he let his siblings to their thing. Tuk frowned but after you gestured her to come sit closer to you her smile appeared, although she was wet, she was warm, and that made your stomach pain fade away slowly. While that was happening kiri and lo’ak were both arguing, saying that you should take her pain killers because she’s a girl, lo’ak gives her a look of confusion and disbelief. Lo’ak then went on that you should take his because he got it recently while kiri’s was probably a century old, which was of course, false. Neteyam sat down beside you and put his arm around you and tuk, pulling you closer to his body, and again, he was wet but still warm, so with the warmth of two people, warmth on your shoulder and warmth on your stomach you sighed in relief, stopping the bickering between kiri and lo’ak. They saw you with a smile on your face, eyes closed, tuk laying on your thighs, hugging your stomach while neteyam held you close, his arms around your shoulders with a smug look on his face when he sees the look of devastation on his sibling face. ”Good luck next time” neteyam states, pulling you even more close to him even though you two were practically in each others bubble. Kiri looked defeated, lo’ak frowned before sighing, “I’ll need it..” and with that he sat beside tuk, kiri following him and sitting beside lo’ak. Neteyam, lo’ak and kiri looked beyond the horizon, Neteyam hugging you closely while tuk slept on your lap. “We should get home, dad won’t like it if we’re out any later.” kiri suggests, lo’ak and neteyam simultaneously look at her, “no, y/n and tuk is resting, later.” Kiri rolls her eyes and huffs, standing up and jumping into the water to see the fishes, again.

tsu’tey x human! reader “What do you mean you bleed from there? are you hurt? should i call the tsahìk?” tsu’tey asks, worry filled his voice, “what? no! im fine, it’s normal.” you answer, holding back your laughter, he sounded way too serious for something that was normal, well, for humans anyway. Tsu’tey raises his eyebrow at you, giving you a small nod even though he wasn’t completely sure if you were okay but he trusted you, also since you were a human so your anatomy is different to his kind. You and tsu’tey stop talking for a bit before he breaks the silence with a question, “how do you deal with all of that? the.. ‘period’?” he asks, inching closer to where you sat. The first thing you thought of was the cloth, which was the replacement of a pad, humming you open your satchel and pull out a cloth, you then fold it until it’s the right size and hand it to tsu’tey, he was watching you with confusion written all over his face when he saw you grab your cloth. Tsu’tey takes the cloth from your hands and observes it, it looks normal, nothing is different other than the fact that you folded it. He looked at you, cloth in hand and doesn’t say anything, meaning that he’s confused. “Uh- so basically we just put it under our part.. so stop the bleeding from going everywhere.” you blurt out, with your answer tsu’tey nods, understanding you but not fully. You know that he doesn’t know much about the female body so you decide to teach him, reaching into your satchel you pull out your notebook and a pencil, you set the notebook down and move (even) closer to tsu’tey, you start to draw a human body, or what resembles a human body. “Okay, so this is our part, it’s called a “vagina”, that’s the proper way to say it, another way to say it is “pussy” but that also means cat.” you say, then you tell him to repeat what you said and he does so. You then point to where the uterus is, “this is our uterus, where the baby grows, the reason why we bleed is because our “egg” isn’t fertilized, so our uterus lining shreds, so we bleed because we don’t get pregnant and it’s like “oh! no sperm? might as well shred”.” Once you finish talking you look at tsu’tey looks overwhelmed with the information you’ve given him, to you it’s not a lot, but to him it’s a lot. Once tsu’tey calms down a bit, his brows furrowed before asking you a “serious” question, “do you have an egg in you?” he asks in a grave tone. He sounded too serious that you burst out laughing, while you’re laughing hysetrically he’s giving you a confused look before pouting, why were you laughing at his question? Tsu’tey puts his hand on your shoulder and tells you to calm down, in an attempt to calm you down, and you do. Once your laughter dies down you had to wipe your tears away, “now answer my question, do you have an egg in you? why?” and again, he says it in a serious tone that it almost makes you laugh again. Using all your will power you stop yourself from laughing and answer his question, you shook your head and once you do his shoulders rest as if he has been carrying something heavy on his shoulder. “They’re small things in our ovaries, we call them eggs. Without it we wouldn’t have any children.” Once you finish your comment tsu’tey gives you a nod and pulls his hand back. After explaining some things, like how some girls experience cramps which is when the stomach hurts, mood swings, when their mood changes very quickly, tsu’tey then asks if there was any way to reduce the pain or help the women, you give him a tender smile and answer his questions. While answering his questions, he’s mentally taking notes since he knows that you’re on your period and is taking notes so the next time you’re late or early he’s prepared, oh you don’t have any spare cloths? fret not! inside my satchel i have some cloths just for you! your stomach hurts? here my love, a handmade heat pad (it’s a cloth that’s sewed with something soft inside of it and was left out in the sun for hours) just for you. You also explain how some girls leak, meaning that their “pad” or cloth, couldn’t hold the bleeding (most times it’s heavy bleeding) and leaked, or the size wasn’t right or the absorbancy was poor. Everything you say, tsu’tey is taking notes, and when you tell him how some men get mad at their girlfriends for leaking he gets mad, like how could you get mad for someone who can’t even control something? Tsu’tey scoffs, he assures you that if you ever leaked he’d never get mad at you and would help you clean up, get you a new cloth and underwear if you feel too disgusted to walk, or if you can you can go get it. Once you hear him say that you give him a hug and you made sure to hug him tightly, kissing his cheek, “best boyfrien- no, mate, ever!!” you squeal. Smiling, he hugs you back while running his fingers through your hair, When you pull back your hands are still around his neck, his eyes are staring deep into yours, his yellow eyes with a hue of green never failed to make you awe, “i can say the same to you my love.” he states before pulling you into a kiss. To say the least, he definitely praises and respects women even more now, since you women carry babies and deal with all this nonsense.

Honestly I'm so happy with all all tsutey lovers can I pretty please request headcanons for Tsu'tey and Tonowari, separate, with pregnant reader <33
The two big tough guys turning soft is one of the best shifts a character can make.
Pairing: Tsu'Tey, Tonowari x Fem!Reader
Tags: fluff, established relationship, pregnancy, morning sickness, cravings, talking about the future, cuddles, protectiveness, mating bites
A/N: Cold, hard warrior to soft, doting partner is the best thing in the world.
TSU'TEY
If you thought he was protective before then just wait until he finds out that you're pregnant. He's keeping a bit of physical distance from you but you can always feel his tail wrapped around you. Doesn't have that much of a scowl on his face even in public, unless he feels like something or someone if threatening to you or the baby.
Every morning he wakes up early to get some of the specifics foods you've expressed wanting to eat in your pregnancy. He... also may use that time to show off a little for you. Never a bad time to impress his beloved mate.
He's already thinking about how he's gonna make the kid into the next greatest warrior and hunter. He's constantly talking against your stomach, promising great things to come, kissing the baby bump and unable to keep his tail from expressing how happy he is.
TONOWARI
Tonowari is hardly able to contain his excitement when he learns that you're carrying his child. He scoops you up in his arms and twirls you around, his tail wrapping around your lower body in a protective manner.
He always rubbing your back with his big hands when you're experiencing morning sickness and very gently carries you back to bed to comfort you. He knows that this is natural but he still hates that you're going through this and he can't help you more.
When you really start showing he stops lying on top of you when you sleep, instead laying you on your side and letting the entire length of his tail to coil softly around you, while his mouth locates and kisses the bite on your neck.

A New Star: Jake Sully
Avatar Masterlist
word count: 1.2K
Request:  Hi! Can you please do a Jake x Pregnant! (Na’vi) Reader when Y/n goes into labor and has to have a C-section but because she is Na’vi she doesn’t know what that is and she starts to freak out and Jake tries to calm her and explain what a C-section is? I can send the request as a message if you want.
Background Info:
C-section: It's when they give birth and they cut the lower stomach to get the baby out
Why c-sections happen: It's usually done for the safety of both mother and baby or if the baby is too big
Tumblr media
The past eight months have been nothing short of amazing since you and Jake found out that you were expecting your first child together. You were so nervous to tell Jake at first worried about his reaction but instead, he was over the moon with joy that you were pregnant, that was the one thing he had wanted since you guys mated was to have a child or children born from the love you two shared. Jake was so wonderful during pregnancy, he constantly waited on your hand and foot and nothing was too much for him even if it was late-night cravings or holding your belly for a bit just to relieve you for a bit. There was no one else you rather have by your side during this.
"How are you two feeling my love?" Jake asked walking in and sitting behind you softly rubbing your back.
"Alright, I'm ready for them to come out." You said with a small laugh.
"Just a few more weeks my love. They will be here before you know it, is there anything else I can do to help you?" He asked you hating to see you in so much discomfort.
"Hmmm, a kiss or two since you didn't give me any when you came home today." You said with a pout as he laughed softly turning your head toward him and prepping your face with all kinds of kisses making you giggle.
"I love you sweet girl, and I love you, my child." He said kissing you and then kissing your bump making you smile.
"I love you too ma Jake." You said rubbing your nose against his.
A few weeks later you and Neytiri were talking when you felt pain in your stomach almost like a cramp, not really thinking anything of it because those have been happening a lot during your pregnancy, you went about your day well and tried to at least until they were almost a minute a part which made Neytiri help you up and try to get to her mother's.
"No Tiri, Jake he isn't......here..." You said as another contraction hit you.
"I will send someone to go get him...don't worry but we need to get you to my mother's." She said as you nodded your head.
Meanwhile Jake and Tsu'tey were coming back from their hunt from this morning when Neytiri came over to comms..
"Jake, do you copy?" She asked as screaming could be heard in the background.
"I copy, what is it Neytiri?" He asked worriedly.
"It's y/n, she getting ready to give birth....Tiri tell him to hurry his ass up, he promised he be here." He could hear you say.
"Go to her, I can handle everything from here." Tsu'tey said as Jake thanked him and ran towards the Hometree.
When he got to Mo'at's tent he saw Norm and Max there off to the side ready in case something happened while Mo'at worked and Neytiri held your hand trying to comfort you. Jake made his way to your side gently taking a seat next to you.
"Oh my sweet girl, I'm so sorry I wasn't here but look you are doing so good." He said pressing a kiss to your forehead.
"Ma Jake, you made it." You said looking at him with a tired smile on your face.
"Hey y/n, we're just gonna do another quick scan to make sure everything is okay before we start, okay?" Norm asked as you nodded your head.
Jake watched as they placed the gel on your stomach before doing the scan but the look on their faces told him everything he needed to know.
"The baby is upside down meaning that during a normal pregnancy, the fetus during birth is head-down, facing the mother's back but your's feet first...so we are gonna have to a c-section in order to deliver them safely." Max explained as panic rose through you.
"C-section? What is that?" You asked anxiously.
"They're gonna probably put you under and cut you right about here so they can safely deliver the baby..." Jake explained looking to Norm for backup.
"Yeah it will only be an hour y/n, you won't feel anything." Norm said trying to comfot you as you shook your head no.
"Mo'at?" You asked her nervously.
"This is the way my child, everything will be fine I promise." She said to you not really helping calm you down as Jake could still feel you shaking.
"Baby look at me, hey look at me... I'm not gonna let anything happen to you or our baby okay? Max and Norm know what they are doing, and I'm gonna be right here the entire time, so I just want you to relax and let them handle it from here, you've done wonderful caring for them the last nine months, now it's time to meet them." He said as you nodded your head.
"It's gonna be okay, when you wake up, our child will be here. I love you, my sweet girl." He said pressing a kiss to your lips.
"I love you too Ma Jake." You said to him giving him a small smile.
You let everyone know that you were ready to proceed with the C-section, Norm came over and put a breathing mask over your face, and hooked some wires up to you so they could monitor your stats during the operation.
The operation took about an hour to complete once they started, and soon enough a beautiful baby boy was pulled out and shown off and Jake swore his heart stopped from seeing his son...a life he helped create. He watched as Mo'at cleaned the baby and looked over it with a smile on her face, before handing it to Max.
"Dad, would you like to hold him, while we sew mom up?" Max asked walking over to Jake.
Jake gently took his son in his arms, smiling down at him as his son wrapped his hand around his finger. Jake could already tell that ya'lls son was going to look like you when he got older, he could see your features in his.
"Ma Jake....?" You asked tiredly.
"Hi sweet girl, how are you feeling?" He asked turning towards you.
"Tired...how did it go? Where's the baby?" You asked making him smile as Norm came to help you sit up so you didn't tear your stitches.
"Our baby is a he who looks exactly like you....and he is right here." Jake said placing him in your arms watching as a smile spread across your face.
"Your so perfect.." You said quietly to yourself as Jake put his arm around you.
"What are you gonna name him?" Neytiri asked.
"'Äokx Te Pxun'll Lätstxut'itan." You said with a smile on your face as Jake pressed a kiss to your forehead.
"I'm so proud of you." He said to you.
"Thank you, but I couldn't have done without you." You said pressing a kiss to his lips.

Tsu’tey paced around the lab with a concerned look on his face, making Jake feel slightly dizzy. It was already chaotic enough with the kids running around and touching everything they weren’t supposed to, so Tsu’tey’s restlessness only added to Jake’s headache.
“Tsu’tey, for the love of God, can you please sit down?” he asked tiredly, running a hand through his hair.
Tsu’tey shot him an angry glare, but eventually complied and slowed his frenzied pacing. He sank onto an empty bed beside Jake, his eyes glazing over as he absentmindedly watched Lo’ak drag Kiri by her kuru, eliciting a high-pitched squeak from her. The bickering between the kids and Jake’s raised voice attempting to separate them faded into the background as Tsu’tey's mind raced with worry for you. Something wasn't right.
It had been two days since you decided to be a little adventurous and try some of the sky people's food, egged on by Jake. Tsu’tey had warned you to stay away from it, but as you disobeyed, you were suffering the consequences that same night, and the night after that. And it wasn’t going away, which made Tsu’tey grow increasingly frightened.
You had a restless night, tossing and turning with waves of nausea until you finally vomited early in the morning. Tsu’tey couldn’t help but snicker at you for not heeding his warnings, and lectured you about how nothing good came from the sky people and that you should have known better. But when the vomiting persisted into the next day, his amusement quickly washed away making place for worry. He insisted that you saw Tsahik, but despite her doubts, it was still too early to tell anything. So, when Jake suggested taking you to the lab, with no other options left, Tsu’tey reluctantly agreed. He didn’t trust it, but he was desperate to see you back on your feet and sleeping soundly beside him at night.
“Why are they taking her blood?” he asked protectively, as he glared through the glass window into the room where you were seated, your arm extended and a needle piercing your skin.
“To run a few tests, figure out what’s wrong,” Jake explained with a calm voice, placing a comforting hand on Tsu’tey’s shoulder, “Don’t worry about it, it’s normal.”
Tsu’tey hummed but it wasn’t like he could calm his nerves. Time seemed to drag on endlessly as they kept you in the back room, running test after test. And even seated next to Jake, Tsu’tey couldn’t stop tapping his foot in annoyance. His eyes wandered over to the three kids, Neteyam, Lo’ak, and Kiri, who were playing around with one of the large machines. They were pressing buttons that didn’t light up like on the other equipment, and Tsu’tey smiled weakly, assuming that it must not be working.
“Lo’ak, play nice,” Jake warned his youngest, then turned to look at Tsu’tey, “I swear, ever since he was born, I started finding gray hair all over my head.”
“At the rate he’s going, you’ll be back with Eywa in no time,” Tsu’tey joked for the first time in a day, “Give it a few more years.”
“Be careful what you wish for, buddy. If that happens, you'll have to step up and help Neytiri with the kids as their uncle,” Jake chuckled with an amused tone.
“Oh, don’t you worry about that,” Tsu’tey grinned, “I’ll make sure those little monsters learn how to hunt properly. Not the way their daddy taught them.”
Jake rolled his eyes, but the corners of his mouth turned up in amusement. Their banter was cut short when Norm walked into the room with a quick, “Good, you guys are still here.” Immediately, Tsu’tey rose to his feet, his ears and tail perked up in alert. Jake stood up too, eyeing the thick folder in Norm’s hands.
"What is wrong with her? Is she alright?" Tsu’tey asked with a frown, urging Norm to speak.
“Yes, she is alright, don’t worry," Norm answered calmly, bringing a slight relief to the two men, "We got her blood work back, ran some tests, and everything is normal."
“Where is she?”
“She's in the back room, taking a nap,” Norm shrugged, “She was exhausted, so we let her rest for a while.” “Yes, she hasn’t slept for two nights,” Tsu’tey grumbled in annoyance.
“Was it food poisoning?” Jake interjected.
Norm tensed up slightly, biting the inside of his cheek, as if he was holding back information. Tsu’tey and Jake exchanged a look, waiting for Norm to continue.
“No, not food poisoning,” he finally answered, “But it’s better if she knows first.”
“Talk,” Tsu’tey ordered with a stern voice, not known to tolerate any ambiguity. Especially not when it concerned your health.
“I’ll have to talk to her, it’s kind of personal,” Norm said sheepishly.
“Spill it,” the man took a step closer, his tone intimidating. Jake rushed to step in between the two, placing a hand on Norm’s shoulder to defuse the tension.
“What is it, Norm?”
“Nothing’s wrong, it's just that I think she should be the first to know...” he trailed off.
“Oh,” Jake’s face lit up with realization, “Is she…?”
Norm nodded, backing away from Tsu’tey.
“What? What's going on?” Tsu’tey demanded, growing more agitated by the second.
“I think he means that Y/N is pregnant,” Jake said, grinning from ear to ear.
Tsu’tey looked in between them a few times, struggling to process the information. He turned to Norm again, pointing at the papers in his hands.
“So, is she healthy?”
“Yes, everything looks good,” Norm said, “Congratulations, man.”
“You’re going to be a dad,” Jake chimed in, squeezing Tsu’tey’s shoulders with an encouragement.
Content with Norm’s answer that you were alright, Tsu’tey hardly registered anything else past that. The men stared at him in anticipation to say something, anything, about your pregnancy, but Tsu’tey remained silent, unable to form a coherent response.
“Well, aren’t you happy?” Jake nudged him.
“About what?”
“About Y/N being pregnant?” Jake let out a chuckle of disbelief.
Tsu’tey frowned, taking a seat on the bed again. His mind was in a whirlwind of thoughts at the news, chest tightening with anxiety of becoming a father. The distant screams of the Sully kids were like the high-pitched screeches of Toruk to his ears, only adding to the panic he felt. He was not ready to be responsible for a new life, and there were so many things to prepare.
Norm mumbled something about checking on you, and Jake nodded before taking a seat next to his friend. While it was unusual to see Tsu'tey so zoned out, Jake could understand how scary the thought might have seemed to him.
“Aren’t you happy? I’m sure you thought about having kids with Y/N before.”
“I have,” Tsu’tey confirmed with a nod.
“Then this shouldn't be as much of a surprise to you, right? I mean, if you didn’t hold back…” Jake teased with a knowing smile.
“You and your disgusting sky people talk,” he spat in annoyance.
“But seriously, man, it might seem scary but it’s actually not,” Jake gestured at his kids, who were now occupied with Grace’s old diary logs, “All you have to do is keep them fed and play with them a couple of times a day, and they’re happy. And once they stop breastfeeding, they might even notice that they have a dad too.”
Tsu’tey smiled at his words weakly, grateful for the reassurance. Sure, he was still anxious about messing it up and not being a good father, but he couldn’t help the excitement starting to bubble up in his chest.
“I mean, even my kids like you, so I think you’ll be a great dad, Tsu’tey,” Jake patted his shoulder with a toothy grin, “And Y/N will be a wonderful mother. Seriously, your kid would be lucky to have you two as parents.” “Thank you, Jake Sully,” Tsu’tey stood up with a sparkle in his eyes, “I’ll go find her.”

Rules
Neteyam wasn’t one to easily get jealous but when he did, he had many ways of showing it he was quick to show others and remind you that you belonged to him
He never lets it get to far-
When he saw you getting too close to another man for his liking He’d get one of his siblings to come and interrupt you. Sometimes it was Kiri asking you for help gathering herbs for Mo’at. Most of the time it was Tuk asking you to play or do her hair and it worked every time he knew you had a soft spot for his youngest sister. the best part is he never appears jealous because it ‘s not his fault his sisters just love you that much.
He’ll love bom you the moment your alone -
He’ll focus all of his attention on you the moment you’re alone together after one of these incidents. The moment you’re in your hut he’ll close the flap and immediately kissing along your neck. Kissing your throat dragging his hands along your sides.sneaking his hands under your top rubbing you tits squeezing them. You moan out his name “ teyam! …what’s gotten into you ma Teyam “ you asked him.
He’ll leave you full of marks where others can see-
He ignores you, picking you up and taking you to your guy's bed. He immediately start undressing you. Starting from top to bottom kissing along your body leaving bit marks along your neck and slowly moving down to your thighs all over the places your loincloth doesn’t cover.
He likes to remind you who you belong to-
After marking you he likes to remind you who you belong to. He pushes you onto the bed kneeling between your parted legs wasting no time and pushing his fingers into you . Dragging another moan from you . He’ll continue until he’s made you come at least once from his fingers alone. And that’s only the start neither of you get much sleep that night. You breathe heavily this was the 4th time you came and Neteyam didn’t seem to be done with you just yet.” Nete i can’t no more “ you pant out. He smirked “ no ? “ he asked you starting to pump himself into you again “ you can’t give your mighty warrior just one more “ he kisses your neck and moves down to your chest sucking your nipple. He picks up his speed, your legs shake . It’s not long before your coming again. “ who do you belong to syulang “ Neteyam asks you. You feel you stomach knotting again you cry out his name “ Neteyam “ well coming again. He smiled pressing against you , giving you a kiss thrusting deeply one last time finishing inside you. “ that’s right syulang you belong to me “ he whispered in you ear pulling away from you. He reaches over grabbing a cloth cleaning both of you. before letting you rest pulling you closer to him cuddling you close to him.
Lingering stares and sensual touches when they are in a group-
this continues for the next few days him pulling you aside anytime he sees you giving you short sweet kisses. Wrapping his arm around you well around others whether it’s his family or your friends. He’ll find himself watching you more during training or when he sees you around, like at the very moment you were helping his mother cook dinner in the Suli family hut he was meant to be helping make arrow heads but was distracted by you. He felt a hand on his head forcing him to look back at his task, he looked up to see his father giving him a look. He quickly turned around and went back to work.
Later that night well you hung out with his siblings and Spider around a late night fire. he took the chance and moved you into his lap kissing you on the cheek. Making you blush, he looked at you smirking. Lo’ak throw a cup at his brother “ bro! Get a room!” Neteyam looked over at him unimpressed “ you know what little brother you’re right see you losers later “ he didn’t give you a chance to react picking you up and walking off towards your hut

"My body wants you as badly as my heart does" with Tsutey x reader please 😘
My Heart, My Soul
Tsutey x Pregnant Human Reader
Summary: ever since the announcement your treated like a fragile peace of glass that can break with a single tap
Warning: insecure reader, pregnant sex, riding
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yn/3rd person pov
Mo'at thought it was miracle but also a disgrace "the baby is healthy" she said as her hands ghosted over my small bulging stomach.
I looked to the side seeing tsutey eye her movements as if she was a threat "eywa has blessed you both" she murmured standing up and looking at tsutey as if they were having an unspoken conversation.
He shook his head disapprovingly and she just walked out "what was that about tsutey" I asked worryingly as I sat up and pulled down my shirt.
He sighed loudly and pulled me into him "she's just wondering if this is still the best for us my love" we slowly started to walk back to the lab so I can take off my mask.
Some of the other na'vis watched and whispered as we walked by as tsutey loomed over me like a protective shield making sure I wouldn't stumble and fall.
His protectiveness increased by like 100 since I announced my pregnancy to him he treats me like a glass object that is so fragile and would break at the slightest touch.
He's even stopped having sex with me and with my hormones and insecurities it's starting to get to me, we continued walking into we reached my room and closed the door.
I carefully removed my mask and took a few deep breaths before speaking "do you love me anymore" I could already feel the tears prick my eyes and run down my cheeks before I could stop them.
I didn’t even have to look at him to know he was already looking at me in confusion "what do you mean my love" he asked and squated to my height beside me.
When I didn't look at him he carefully moved one of his hands to lightly guide my face to look at his, his eyes softening as he sees my tears.
"You don't t-touch me a-and it feels like y-you don't love m-me" I hiccup and my hands started to shake he grinned at my foolishness and peck my lips lovingly.
"My love my body wants you as much as my heart does but I do not want to hurt you or the baby" he cooed as his hands gently ghosted off of my baby bump.
I started to cry happy tears as I giggled wiping my tears away "im sorry if I made you doubt my love for you" Tsu'tey murmured as he stood up and slowly started to usher me to bed.
He sat on the edge of the bed his body barely fitting on it he wrapped his arms around me bringing me into his chest.
He whispered sweet things to me and talked about his up coming hunt I slowly sat up as an idea popped into my head "tsu can I try something please" I asked quietly.
He stared at me and noded slowly his eyes watching my movements as I climbed off the bed and slowly shimied off my pants and underwear off.
"Baby-" I interrupted him "Tsu'tey please I need you" I pleaded as I crawled to him pawing at his thighs "please tsu" I murmured.
He groaned slightly rubbing his face roughly and nodded forcefully "ok my love just please do not hurt yourself" he said and moved his loincloth aside.
I carefully climbed onto his lap and sunk back onto his cock groaning out "are you ok my love" he asked worriedly I sighed out and nodded eagerly.
"I'm ok" I whispered and slowly started to move up and down careful not to hurt me or the baby my hands grazing his chest my nails slightly digging into his skin, I closed my eyes tightly throwing my head back.
"M-my love" Tsu'tey groaned his hands gripping my hips tightly my moans were loud and shakey as I started going a little bit faster I opened my eyes to gaze at his lustfilled expression.
"My body yearns for you my love" he murmured his hands ghosting up and down my sides almost guiding me up and down on his cock.
My heart flattened at his words and my stomach tightened as my climax started to near "f-fuck tsu" I whined my eyes rolling back as his cock started to pulse.
"My love please cum for me" he breathed out as he pulled me into a deep kiss my hands moving to cup his face.
"T-tsu'tey" I cried out as I cam clenching around him "my love" he groaned gritting his teeth as he threw his head back.
His cum shooting inside me "fuck" I curesed we both panted and he just started to chuckle "what" I asked looking at him weirdly.
"Nothing my love it's just I can't but fall in love with you all over again"

You Give Me Strength (Tsu'tey x adopted!Daughter reader)
You were the first child to be born on Pandora. Your mother was a scientist while your father resided in the RDA. The two were already married. When others found out about your mother being pregnant with you. There was some conflict on where the child should stay when arrived in the world.
Your father loved your mother and knew himself that a child going back and forth between their parents in such an environment wasn't healthy. So, he left the RDA building and stayed with his wife in the Avatar program building.
Your father was actually a big help, he helped gather samples, protected the scientist from wild animals without actually killing the animals, as he was a big animal person and had a really big soft spot for the Pandora animals.
Seeing as how much he actually cared about what the Avatar program was doing, they made him an avatar. It took a while for his avatar to fully form, and when his avatar did fully form, that's when Jake arrived.
Both Jake and your father bonded with each other pretty quickly. Both being in the military back at earth. Jake was a Marin while your father was in the Airforce.
You were finally born a week after Jake arrived. Both the RDA and Avatar program were thrilled for your arrival. And at that time, your father and Jake were already training to become one of the people. So he wasn't around that much.
But once he was able to hold you, he- no, actually him and Jake would refuse to give you back to your mother. Too busy playing with you.
When your father would tap back in his avatar, he wouldn't stop gushing about you to Tsu'tey, the Na'vi who was guiding him.
On the ceremony, Jake wanted his wife and child to be there. His wife was able to come, but there was no possible way for a baby to attend. Being a baby and all. But the moment the ceremony finished, he was quick to get to the lab in his avatar and hold your small body in his arms.
You and your parents were happy that night, the two of them already had an avatar body forming for you at the moment. Just have to wait 6 years.
sadly, your parents didn't have six years. Your mother was shot to death, becoming one with the spirit tree and Eywa. Your father, engulfed with sadness and rage, he fought in the war as hard as he could.
He died protecting his friend, his war brother, Tsu'tey from sky people.
Your father and mother showed so much love and loyalty to the Na'vi, You Na'vi body was still developing, and Jake was already having plans to adopt you.
And in a way he did. Taking care of you as much as he could, but when Netyam was born, Tsu'tey took care of you the most. Tsu'tey unofficially adopted you.
And when your Avatar body finally fully formed, you became Na'vi. And officially became the daughter of Tsu'tye te rongloa ateyitan,
Y/n l/n te Tsu'a Arvok'an
15 years later
"Come on Y/n!" Spider shouted as he ran on the vines connected to the floating mountains.
"Be careful Ma Mai'nu!" You shouted, worried that he'll fall, or just hurt himself. You were with the rest of the sully kids who you knew as your brothers and sisters, and Spider who was your own personal brother, as you liked to think.
You made sure to keep up with both Lo'ak and Spider. Neteyam and the girls close behind.
This was one of the days when you all are allowed to roam free, be children again, before the sky people returned. You sighed as you watched Lo'ak and Spider doing stupid things again.
But you liked watching them being carefree.
You were practically the same age as Spider, but he always treated you like you were way older. And you treated him as if he were a toddler, you can't help it. He both looks and acts like one to you.
Even if you were mainly known as Tsu'tey's daughter, Jake and Neytiri acted like your parents a lot.
Jake lectured you a lot
"Stop running like that!"
"No no no no! put the knife down Y/n!"
"Y/n L/n te Tsu'a Avrok'an, go and apologize to your father this instant!"
Jake made sure to keep you in line. To keep you out of any danger, afraid that you'll possibly get really hurt. You might not be his actual blood child or not belong to him, but he saw you as his own. So he treated you like his own.
Neytiri, oh how she babied you. Cottoling you and spoiling you. Not just you, but Neteyam as well. The two of you were her pride and joy. She gave you motherly love and that lead you to calling her "mom."
Then your father, Tsu'tey. He was very soft with you. Never harsh with you, never raised his voice at you. Whatever you wanted, he did for you. Hungry for a certain fruit that is possibly very deep in the forest? he'll get it for you.
You were the blood daughter of his dear friend, and his little girl. Evry emotion of pain and anger Tsu'tey felt when he was growing up, is something he never wanted you to feel. He never wants you to know the feeling of getting close to someone, loving that person, then that person ends up leaving you to be with Eywa once more.
That feeling is hurtful. That feeling is painful.
You were quick to mature. You became a perfect warrior with Netyam. The two of you being the youngest Na'vi in your clan.
"Y/n."
You turn your head and see Tsu'tey. You smiled and gave him a nod before turning back to your weaving.
"Who is this for?" Tsu'tey asked as he sat next to you, referring to the small poncho you were making.
"For Mai'nu. It is close to the cold season. Human skin is weak. The things Norm gives him weigh him down. Mai'nu does not even wear them! Did you know humans get sick easily?" You ranted off like a annoyed mother. Tsu'tey chuckled.
"Spider is strong for a sky person." Tsu'tey didn't hate Spider. His feelings were neutral towards the boy. In all honesty, Tsu'tey left those hateful feelings behind when you became his child.
You sighed and stopped your work. "How long will this war end, Papa? . . . We are winning the battles, but we lose our people in the process." Yes, you were raised as a perfect warrior, and due to your biological father's background and your current father's reputation as one of the best warriors in the clan. It is a natural expectation for you to be the same. Which you were.
But that means you enjoy it. You don't enjoy fighting. You don't enjoy taking lives and watching lives being taken.
Innocent lives.
Spider meant a lot to you. In all honesty. You felt like the two of you had more understanding with each other. The two of you were born on this planet, parents died from war.
And even if you were permanently in your Avatar body, you heard the whispers, you felt the constant staring.
You have earned respect from the clan. But Trust?
So much pain has been inflected through the whole clan ever since the sky people returned. Pain from the past was resurfacing.
There were times when you were given so much love by many but felt so empty. Recently, you would just space out. Find yourself stuck in the clouds.
"Y/n? you listening to me.?"
Your eyes flutter a little before finally focusing your sight on the human boy in front of you.
"Oh, yes Mai'nu?"
Spider frowns a little "You, okay? you've been spacing out on me lately."
You smiled fondly down at him and put your hand on his head. "I was just deep in thought. What was it that you need?"
"I was just thinking. You should take me on the raid today." You were quick to stare him down. "You already know my answer. Don't make me repeat myself."
Your smile faded quickly. Becoming stoic as you got yourself ready for said raid that was to occur in 20 minutes or less. The trains have become faster for transport lately.
"But- Jake lets Lo'ak and Neteyam come along!" Spider tried to protest. You sighed and dropped your bag on the ground before looking back at Spider, giving him your signature warning look, but he continued.
"You've been training me! let me prove it to you that I can do this."
"Okay, one; the training I give you is to protect yourself better for dangerous situations that you shouldn't be in. Secondly, I'm not Jake. When I say no, it's a no. Now go to Kiri, I have to go." You stormed off out the tent, leaving a sad little defeated Spider.
You don't mean to be harsh on him. Your just afraid to lose anyone.

Unexpected Turn of Events Pt.6
Tonowari x Fem!Reader
Disclaimer: I don't own the fanart, screenshots, or gifs used with my stories.
Warnings: Fluffy. Straight-up fluff. It's short. Really short in my opinion.
Pt.5 here.
Tumblr media
You were watching Jake's kids play with your sons. Tonowari appeared at your side and placed a gentle hand on your growing belly.
"I can't believe you got me pregnant again." You chuckled and he nuzzled your cheek.
"I like seeing you carrying my children." Tonowari says as he starts placing kisses on your neck and cheek. "Ma beautiful muntxate." Tonowari says and you chuckle.
"Ma Wari we cannot right now. We are watching the children for Neytiri and Jake to have a date." You say and he huffs against your neck.
"But you smell so sweet. Almost like when you're in heat." Wari says and you look at him surprised.
"Maybe later we can ask Tsireya to watch the boys, and we can slip away for time to ourselves." You offer and he nods.
"Alright." He agrees and you both sit in the sand and looked back at the kids. Kiri still hadn't let Tsu'tey out of her grasp because she said he was her favorite. Mostly because Ateyo had hit her in the eye and now she didn't trust holding him. You all stopped moving when you heard a loud 'oof' and a thud. You look over to see Lyle sprawled on the ground with a net tangled around his tail and feet. You sigh in exasperation and try to hold back the laugh.
"Having troubles Lyle?" You ask him and he stays laying down, but shows you a thumbs up.
"I'm great." He says breathlessly. Mansk tumbles out of the tree line with an angry-looking Miles following behind him. They had all allowed their hair to grow out in the time they've been on Awa'atlu.
"I told you I need my damn net so I can fish." Miles says and stomps over to Lyle. You get up and so does Tonowari, so you can intervene when necessary.
"Hey Miles. How's it going with courting Na'jem?" You ask him and he blushes.
"It would be going smoother if these assholes would leave my shit alone." He says grumpily and you sigh. You start untangling Lyle from his net prison.
"Lyle, Mansk... Be nice to him. Na'jem is an impeccable woman and probably the only one I know that's able to handle this man." You tell them.
"Ma'am I was trying to keep Lyle from being stupid, then I was trying to keep Miles from killing him." Mansk says and you nod. You hand Miles his net and shoo them to go about their daily business.
"They are odd." Tonowari says as you both turn back to the kids.
"They are, but they are happy and comfortable. That's all that matters." You say. Jake and Neytiri join you on the beach. Jake looks at you then Neytiri and gives her the puppy dog eyes.
"Please?" He asks and she looks at you.
"What?" You ask them and Neytiri rolls her eyes.
"Ma Jake wants to have another baby." She says. "Seeing you pregnant again makes him want another baby."
"Well I thought we had enough children, but Tonowari has a heart big enough to love every child he has and more. I do not mind." You say and Jake looks at Tonowari.
"I love seeing ma muntxate carrying my children." Tonowari says and the children come back. Kiri deposited Tsu'tey into your arms, and Neteyam handed Ateyo over to Tonowari. Jake and Neytiri sat down and all of their kids laid down on them.
"Auntie, why don't you join us?" Neteyam asks.
"Because I've got my own family I can have cuddle piles with now." You say.
"Come on (Y/n) why don't all of you join?" Jake asks and you look at Tonowari.
"I don't want to intrude on your family Jake." You tell him and he groans and rolls his eyes.
"You are a part of my family. So join us. All of you." Jake says. Tsireya and Ao'nung didn't need to be told twice. You and Tonowari sat down and almost immediately you were both absorbed into the pile. You were snuggled into Tonowari's side, while Jake and Neytiri acted as pillows for you and Wari. Neteyam sprawled over you and Jake(who was your pillow), Tsu'tey and Ateyo were held by you and Wari. Kiri and Tuk settled with Jake and Neytiri, Lo'ak and Tsireya spread over you and Wari, and Ao'nung snuggled into Tonowari's side.
"Jake I swear if you fart I will fight you." You said after everyone got comfortable and you all bubbled into laughter. Neteyam moved his face a little away from his dad.
"Good call Auntie. His gas is toxic." Neteyam mumbles into your shoulder.
"Hey... I don't fart in snuggle piles." Jake protests. Everyone in his family stops and stares at him in disbelief. "Okay only when someone is laying on my stomach though." He grumbled, and you laughed as you snuggled into Tonowari and your children. Neteyam tightened his grip around your shoulders and Jake's thigh. You rested a comforting hand on Neteyams arm knowing he had been suffering from night terrors. You wanted him to get as good of a nap as he could get and you knew he felt safest between you and Jake. Tonowari watched you with a fond smile and then rested his hand on your baby bump. Kiri started to idly run her fingers through your hair and you felt yourself start to grow tired.
"Kiri I'm gonna fall asleep if you keep that up." You told her, but she didn't relent and you fell asleep a few moments later. As you, Neytiri, and the kids napped peacefully Jake and Tonowari decided on having a conversation.
"Why don't you take her back to your marui so she can get some actual sleep? I know she's been spreading herself thin with Tsahík duties, Tsu'tey and Ateyo, and training Ja to be a healer." Jake suggests but Tonowari shakes his head.
"No. She would skin me if I carried her through the village. She wants to be a strong beacon for the people... But it's taking a toll on her." Both men freeze as Ateyo whines in his sleep, only to be soothed gently by your sleeping hand. When Ateyo stays asleep and you do as well both men continue their conversation.
"(Y/n) has always been headstrong and overflowing with love for those around her. She got that from her mother." Jake says and Tonowari's eyes snap up to him.
"What was she like?" He asks Jake who gains a sad look in his eyes.
"She was headstrong, rough around the edges, but caring and loving. She loved Pandora, mostly through the eyes of science, but when she died she told me that Eywa was real. That she was with her. The love that (Y/n) is capable of is astounding. Especially because the man who killed her mother lives among us now." Jake tells him.
"It's Miles. I know." Tonowari says and Jake is surprised.
"How did you know?" Jake asks.
"He told me about the man his memories come from. I have been debating taking him to the Cove of Ancestors to ask Eywa to relieve him of the stress, but that is not my job." Tonowari says.
"It's (Y/n)'s. She's Tsahík so spiritual healing falls into her category." Jake says and Tonowari nods while his eyes slide back to you and your sons.
"He would need to approach her for that." Tonowari says and he slides closer to press his forehead and nose against yours. You sigh in your sleep and pull him closer by tucking his head into your chest allowing him to rest on your arm. Your sons tucked safely between the two of you with your hand resting on their chests, and Tonowari's hand on your belly. Tonowari starts to quietly sing your songcord as he starts to feel tired as well.
"Through Eywa I was blessed"
"Oh Eywa"
"To be one of the people"
"I was seen by Tonowari"
"My love"
"We mated before Eywa"
"Through him, I gained two children"
"Ma Ao'nung and Tsireya"
"With Ma'Tonowari, I experienced two more"
"Ma Tsu'tey and Ateyo"
"Oh Eywa, I thank you, oh Eywa"
As he finished the last verse he made a mental note to remind you to add another bead to your songcord for the new baby. Though he had a feeling you were waiting to see its gender before adding about them. In your sleep, you place a soft kiss on his head and Neteyam's arm.
