only being able to turn off tumblr live for a week is so exhausting. like. it’s been seven days. i open the tumblr mobile app. the little video camera icon mocks me. i sigh. i must again go in to my settings. I must again snooze tumblr live.

So Tumblr is shutting down Tumblr Live on the 24th. Fine with me, good riddance. I never liked it to begin with, I thought it was just another dumb gimmick to attract more users. So I'm glad it's finally getting nixed. RIP Tumblr Live, you will not be missed. By me, at least.

Yep, he's mad. Tumblr just doesn't listen to their audience. Tumblr Live isn't OK, because look at the top of your Home feed, and see what I talking about here. Just tell them to put a stop to this nonsense

Tired enough of Tumblr Live that I've started sending a support ticket with Nobody Wants This and a screenshot of the polls every time I have to turn it off.

I recommend y'all try it. It's cathartic and if enough people do it, maybe they'll do something about it.

Having to snooze tumblr live every week because I use the mobile app is so annoying. I almost miss the porn bots I had to block. At least there was variety then.

after another round of bot banning made me think. The first wave of bots showed up after tumblr live was added, right? and the few glimpses i've seen of tumblr live seem to be something the bots might go after. like, i've seen a thumbnail here and there that seems like it could be an actual tumblr person, but for the most part it just feels like the thumbnails could fit as one of the bots' icons.

Just, I know we pretty much all hate tumblr live, but I guess what I'm saying is if we might also be able to hate on it because it's the cause of the p--- bots.

Just a thought I hadn't seen anyone mention, since i've seen posts about hating these bots, and posts about hating tumblr live, but nothing about any possible connection between the two.

really love how i use tumblr exclusively on desktop, so I've been avoiding tumblr live for a while, but now it's just....at the top of my dash suggesting lives i can watch. makes me wanna set things on fire

i hate tuesday nights, bc thats when i have to snooze tumblr live. every tuesday its, log onto tumblr, snooze tumblr live, reopen tumblr, carry on with my life.
