Went through my desk with my thousands of drawings and found these old turtlejou fankid and dad!Turtle sketch’s that I liked

I imagine older Turtle to have glasses bc I don’t know just makes sense in my brain. And he would def read books to his lil girl

Turtlejou fankid is definitely a girl in my head, but I have no idea what her name would be

Anyway, Turtle as a dad is very important to me and him and Kinkajou would have the most beautiful dragonets like ever

What would you say are each of the protags type? basically what they look for in a partner

Oh, God. It's gotten to this point. People actually care about my opinions now.

Uhh...

Clay - His type is those who don't seem to belong anywhere.

Tsunami - ???

Glory - She has a thing for goths. I'm not sure what that's about. Maybe she's a little goth, too.

Starflight - A kind, excitable personality that can temper his constant worrying and overthinking.

Sunny - ???

Moon - She likes the mysterious types. Yes, Qibli and Kinkajou count somehow.

Winter - Someone who can act as a sort of bounceboard to his usual argumentative nature.

Peril - Are you Clay? No? Then you're out of luck. He got to her first.

Turtle - Someone spontaneous who shows him that there really isn't much to worry about at all.

Qibli - He likes to talk and will fall pretty quickly for anyone who can provide conversation that no one else can.

Blue - Kind. Respectful. He's kind of in a similar boat as Peril, where he will fall for the first good person he meets and latch on.

Cricket - Someone who has as much whimsy and appreciation for the world around them as she does.

Sundew - A kinder, calmer personality to bring her back down when she's seething with rage at everyone and everything.

Snowfall - in the same boat as Winter.

Luna - Bad boys. She'll take a himbo over an asshole genius any day of the week.

“Turtle!!!” Kinkajou shouted, bounding down the hall towards the SeaWing. He looked over his shoulder just in time to see the dragonet’s bright yellow scales before she tackled him, knocking them both into the pool Turtle was laying by.

Kinkajou flailed a little bit, splashing around in the shallows. Intense colors, much more vibrant than usual, flashed across her scales, yellow and pink and cyan.

“Ack! I’m all wet!!” Turtle responded to her observation by splashing her with his tail. She giggled and splashed back at him.

“Take that!” she crowed, grinning ear to ear. “Get drowned, spooky sea monster!!”

“Oh nooo!” Turtle declared, cowering under the spray of water. “I’ve been bested!” He flopped backwards into the shallows, splashing Kinkajou again.

“ACK!!” She floundered out of the pool, giggling. Turtle flipped back over onto his stomach to watch her, getting sprinkled with droplets as she shook herself off thoroughly before sitting under the ledge Turtle had been resting on.

Turtle dragged himself out of the water, laying down beside her as she prodded at some algae that had washed up onto the stony shore. She seemed happy just squishing it under her claws until she decided it was gross, flicking it at Turtle and muttering a quiet, “Ew.”

She slumped forwards, laying down and submerging her front talons in the water. “Tuuurtleeeee?” she asked, looking at him out of the corner of her eye.

“Yeah?” he replied, fiddling with his armband.

“I’m bored,” she whined. Turtle splashed her again, and she shrieked and giggled.

“Let’s go, then. C’mon, I think Sunny put out new coloring pages by her office.” Kinkajou jumped to her feet at Turtle’s words, racing off down the hall. Turtle rolled his eyes fondly and got to his feet, chasing after her. “Wait! Slow down!” he called half-heartedly as he raced behind the RainWing. He didn’t care that much. She could have some fun.

I feel like Turtlejou was completely unnecessary and was just an excuse to make another ship (as if arc 2 didn't have enough of those). There's also the forced way it was introduced, but that's its own can of slimy, slimy worms. My main point is that Turtle and Kinkajou literally could have been close friends/psuedo-siblings in Talons of Power and the plot would not have changed at all.
