Howdy, friend!

I'm Turtle, the chef at the Hazbin Hotel. I spend most of my time cooking, or gathering ingredients to cook with! There's tons of cheap ingredients around the Pride Ring, if you know where to look (and how to catch them). I plan to post my notes and recipes here to help other folks in a bind find good eatin' around here!

When I'm not cooking, you can find me spending time with my best friends, Webster and Ptá��ek. Webster is the transcriptionist over at @hazbinradio , but I haven't been able to find Ptáček's blog...yet. @peccantumaskrp is my manager, and he's a swell guy, if'n a little uptight.

Hey there! Turtle here, the real Turtle. You can call me TurtleTime so it's not confusing. Turtle is a combination self-insert and OC. They're a sort of AU version of myself, of if my life had gone a little differently. But I'm really good at separating fiction from reality, so there's no need to worry about me taking things personally.

I'm 25+, and have been roleplaying for 15 years now. I welcome interactions from all types, as long as you're 18 years old or older. Hazbin Hotel is an adult show for a reason.

First we have this: one of the new beat saber songs. I like beat saber. I think Maria would too if you could teach her how to use a VR headset and, like, if it actually exists in Johto. More importantly, a big theme I’m going for with the story I’m trying to tell is second chances, trying again, redemption, that sort of thing.

(And let’s be honest here Maria has carried the weight of her past mistakes for a very, very, VERY long time.)

Next: a nonzero part of the reason I made this blog in the first place. I, having blorboed Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower quite hard, was looking extensively for cool covers of her theme, and I happened to stumble across a chiptune version. I was already involved in pokeblogging at that time, but I kiiind of wanted to make a faller blog, and this gave me the idea—ooh, hey, I could throw a bloodborne boss at pokemon! (Didn’t come up with which game until a little later, but I settled on HG because SS was my first ever Pokémon game and Ho-oh got more thematically appropriate for Maria the more I thought about it.)

And last, but definitely not least: just a very good cover of Ho-oh’s battle theme. Technically, Maria hasn’t fought Ho-oh yet. She will. Picture this as the music playing in the background, whenever that day does come for realsies. :)

Grand Riviere, on Trinidad’s northeast coast, is a narrow strip of breathtaking Caribean shoreline backed by gorgeous mountainous emerald jungle that tumbles to the broad sea. Almost as soon as the sun goes down, a combination of algae bloom of plankton, the unique wave breaking and the bright night sky make the Atlantic ocean bioluminescent. . At the same time many leatherback turtles surface the water in order to spend the night laying their eggs. The next morning they will return to the ocean accompanied by their adorable hatchlings. . This amazing spot has so many nesting leatherback turtles that it’s probably the world’s densest nesting beach for the world’s largest sea turtle. 😄 This adorable 💚 Green Sea Turtle 🌊🐢 had no desire to swim away from me, but decided the best option was to swim towards me until I moved out of its way. 😄 Neediness to say, I did move out of the way so that this sleepy 😴 💤 turtle could keep on swimming and eventually find a place to rest 🛌. 🌌 This was on a night dive on the Benwood ⚓ in Key Largo, FL📍. 🤪 Sea Turtles have good eyesight during the day, but at night time their ability to see does become diminished.
