Being a tutor who works at my college’s writing center is like. Yes i am severely underpaid but also my favorite professors are sending little freshmen my way who write such young and lovely words. Just when I calmly decide that I will lose my mind after the umpteenth business-or-maybe-accounting-major-who’s-prof-assigned-the-writing-center-as-part-of-the-credit-for-the-essay-and-they-don’t-give-a-shit waltzes, hands me horrendous smelly prose that reeks unrighteously of struggle, boredom and convolution, just when the film of hopelessness begins to cloud my bloodshot eyes… the next appointment walks in, and she soaks my soul in hope for the future of writing through her glorious, concise, well-organized, interesting, captivating APA formatted essay on the first African American woman who flew into space. And I learn something new. And she learns how to insert page numbers. And I learn something new.

after Reading the latest chapter for Spy X family one thing I noted was when reading of all of Demetrius list of achievements the first thing listed off was the highest scorer in math's.
Which was the subject that Anya failed so bad she got a bolt for.
Which makes me wounder if in the future it might be possible that Demetrius might have to tutor Anya in math's at some point.

thinking about riz gukgak and how he feels so alone and yet how his words, his works, are the first thought for his friends when they don’t know what to do
thinking about how love is work, how love is the act of giving and giving and giving until you have nothing left and yet he cannot ever prioritize himself
thinking about how he takes every nickname, every gift, every moment of care with an eagerness that far outstrips the gift in its giving
thinking about how his every stress comes from a moment of devotion and care for his friends, from unraveling the mysteries that permeate their lives
thinking about how he could call them to action with a single warning because they trust in him so much
thinking about how he justifies what he gives to his friends even as his mother asks him to consider himself for once
thinking about riz ‘the ball’ gukgak

accidentally deleted the ask from kitty anon elaborating on tutor!changbin but it’s most definitely on my mind ><. something about buff men in glasses.. and he’s smart too!! i wouldn’t doubt that he’d let you sit on his lap, dick buried inside you while he lectures you through the material, thorough and patient as if he wasn’t burning to rock his hips against you. his large arms would encage your own body, guiding you through the lesson, and it feels as safe as it gets having his chest pressed onto your back, his voice sultry and low against your ear.
on the opposite end, if he’s got the time to spare, he wouldn’t hesitate to tease you. bin likes to have his two fingers buried deep in your cunt, thumb just barely rubbing at your clit, all while he’s reading the questions off the pages like nothing was wrong. gotta study at the campus library? he’s already ahead of the game, asking you to slip a vibrator into your panties that he’d left at the lowest temperature, gradually increasing the speed and intensity each time you’d get something wrong. your head would be pounding by the time you manage to complete the assingment, and changbin can tell how much you’re holding back.
expect to have his cock pounding into you while you’re bent over the table when the session is done, allowing you to render brain dead on his dick after studying so hard. he’ll fuck you until he knows you’ve got nothing on your mind except for the feeling of him stretching you out, watching himself slip in and out of your cunt through the fogged lenses that rested on the tip of his nose. binnie loves telling you how proud he is of you all while his thrusts push his cum from your hole, letting it run down your thighs while his large hands grasp your waist. he takes a lot of pride knowing that your marks always end up significantly higher, though he refuses to tutor anyone except you.

one of my favorite senarios to imagine to put yukio in is sending him 10 years into the future (with the exwires usually) and everyone from their class are like chill adults including himself working their boring ass exorcist job and hes trying to assert dominance over them as the teacher™ but they're all like bro why so serious?

3.06.23 hello everyone, look who’s back, back again
How are you doing lovely people? Please tell me, I hate to talk about myself. I’ll give you a lil update: I have signed a lease, I have been very reprimanded at work (nothing crazy, but my Italian ass didn’t expect such a high level of capitalism - I also haven’t been warned, to be fair, so I truly hadn’t any idea of the kind of “business mentality” i had to have. Now I do, so I’m on the right track). I’m very tired, I miss my family, I’ve been working all day and tomorrow, Sunday, I’ll have some more before my lessons next week. I’m happy I’m working things out. My landlady is the sweetest Greek-Canadian woman on the planet and my co-workers are kind and motivated. I’m learning the American way of building sentences, short, simple and to the point. I know my dear Italian poets and writers are screaming in their graves.
I love the blue house next to my work building, that’s my dream house honestly. And I know, I know you’re just as amused as I am about the spicy mafia I found Downtown.

Sometimes I just remember that the final assignment I wrote for my Bachelors degree was an essay about the representations of sexual intimacy in the early seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And then I also remember that this is what I titled it
Edit: By request you can now read a summary of the points in the essay here (x)

If Sōma & Rin (and/or any of the characters who are Supreme Chefs) have a cooking competition & some (or all) of the other characters are the judges, which one would you pick?
Who would be lenient?
Who would be reasonable?
Who would be strict?
Mako, Tohru, Iruma, and Levi would be the most lenient. For those who are surprised by Levi, keep in mind, this man has never had a real meal in basically his whole life time, so for him to taste such quality food would be a god sent.
Many of them would be, (or try to be), reasonable but my main pick would be Kobayashi or Heine, since she did have her own cooking competition with Tohru (the dragon) and Heine, while a teacher, would know the strength and weaknesses of the two.
And if this competition was just between Rin and Soma, then Chika would try to be strict, but we know that while she can cook well, she’s not exactly on the same level as those two. Ciel would be too, since he is used to fancy food. But surprisingly, believe it or not, one of the stricter judges would be Italy.
Reason: He LOVES gourmet food, and if the food is not up to that quality, he will not hesitate to complain about it, as seen with the episode 8 of Hetalia: Axis Powers where the Allies feed him England's cooking and he immediately freaks out over it. I know he would be nicer with the kids, but I also know he would be more honest.
But to answer your overall question, I narrowed it down to three. And this is if I were to pick one from the adult, teen, and kid groups
Kobayashi OR Heine (really hard to pick)
Saiki
Nagisa
I tried to go for the ones who would be the most unbiased. Hope this helps!

Hi. So, I really love your posts and you give really good advice. I need your help. I know it's just my nerves. I am going to tutor this girl tomorrow. She is around 8. I am going to teach her computer. I'm just really scared. I have never done this before. I have only taught a friend. I am really nervous and I start stuttering when I am about to talk. And this is my first tutoring thing so I don't want to mess it up.
hii! welcome to my blog 💕 so I never tutored such a young kid but my suggestions are:
do not stress too much, take the first day as an opportunity to get to know your student and start to get an idea of what strategies might work better in order to optimise learning. for examples I tutored some kids who would understand things so much better if I showed them how to do them first, but also kids that needed examples and metaphors in order to understand some concept and so on...
try not to be a "professor". kids get bored when you give them plain frontal lessons, try to interact as much as possible. the goal is to help them learning things, not putting directly the information into their brain, it's useless.
focus on comprehension, especially if this girl is just 8 years old. it doesn't matter if she isn't good at it at first, prioritize improvement and try to achieve a small goal every lesson.
I hope you find it helpful. I have only tutored teenagers and I have always had a good time. try to act like a friend rather than a teacher, they will learn much more.
