I just wanna start out with oh my god I love ur art. It’s genuinely like so pretty, and being both a pizza tower and AntonBlast enjoyer myself it’s just great to see fantastic drawings being made by a great artist!!!!!

I wanna ask, do u have any tutorials on drawing hands? Either a reference sheet u have or just a point in the right direction would be great :,]

as for hands heres a real rough, quick guide how I usually go about it:

as for refs I use, honestly I'm constantly looking for new ones cause I struggle a lot with hands too ^^" but for refs I DO have/used, this is a nice study on knuckle and compression lines used in animation, adding flow and breaking the hand into shapes, this awesome website called posemaniacs that has a whole hand library to practice with

Not to mention youtube has many MANY videos that can break it down much better than I can

and lastly, on days im having a REALLY rough time with it, sometimes I trace over a photo of a hand to understand the shapes then try to draw it on my own (I promise you wont be crucified for tracing for learning purposes)

Sorry I personally couldn't give a detailed explanation I'm very much still a student but I hope this at least helps pointing you in the right direction ^^

Just in case someone needs this, you can download tumblr videos on your computer/phone. Go to this website, and then copy the original url with the video, you need the op's link. For instance this link would work, but sometimes a reblog wouldn't.

Paste the link on the website, click enter, and it will offer you a download. You can right click -> Save Link As, or click the link and it takes you to a website that is just the video, and then you right click on the website -> Save page as, and it will download the video.

Have fun hoarding videos! You do need this specific link to the site, when I try to find the site from the search engine for some reason it doesn't work.

so... about THAT bootleg

I'm thinking of picking up the search for the full Two River Theatre BMC bootleg - if one still exists and is out there, that is.

I'm relatively new to actually using Tumblr, though I believe I've had this account for AGES, but from some quick scanning it seems like a user was making some progress in sourcing what may be act 2 screenshots from a possible bootleg so I'd probably start from there (I won't be doing this anymore - read my second edit for an explanation).

It might take a while, it probably won't always be my top priority and it might not even be out there at all but there is a chance. And if I get to see Eric William Morris as the SQUIP then all will be worth it (I would genuinely sell a kidney to see that).

So, uh, yeah. I'll probably try to give regular-ish updates (maybe I'll make a scheduled monthly post or smth, idk) but no promises.

If you have ANY information my ask thing should be open for submissions (edit 1: or just message me heh. i didn't realise you could do that at first). I'd appreciate any and all tips/help/etc.

Edit 2: I only just found @/thesquirrelqueer's post debunking the validity of images found by the user that posted "possible Two River bootleg screenshots". I still plan on doing some searching of my own but I wanted to add this in since I'll probably change the direction of my search because of this. Guess that's a sign to do more in-depth looking before posting something, aha.

And, yes, you are right. I am too lazy to completely rewrite my post, hence the edit.
