After years of pain and love and slow-building hope, Lena and Kara marry.

They are so in love Lena can hardly breathe sometimes from the weight of it. Life has meaning, the world is beautiful. Somehow, despite the odds and atrocities constantly suffocating her, Lena was blessed with her happy ending. The one sweet reward she’d ever had. They were so happy together, always waking in each others embrace. Always sharing kisses and giggles and sighs between work and warfare. They’re so happy that morning that Kara is called to the pier. Some dispute between aliens, nothing to worry about of course - they just need Supergirl to make sure it stays civil. She kisses Lena on the cheek that morning, promises to bring her lunch when she’s done, and then never comes back.

They don’t have an answer for Lena. Even after years of investigation and analysis, no one can tell her what or why it happened. All they can say is one moment Supergirl was there, and the next she was gone. There’s no body, but the Geiger readings are so high they say the Kryptonite must have melted her in a flash. One minute she’s there - her wife, her hero - and then she’s gone. Taken from the universe forever. Taken from Lena.

It nearly kills her, too, the loss. Kara was the one light she had in this life, and it was snuffed out like nothing. She almost lets it kill her. She wants it to, really, but Kara’s voice in her heart won’t let her give up. Despite her deepest desires to be with her wife Lena pushes on. She spends years pulling herself back from the brinks of despair and rebuilding herself into a new Lena. Not the same one, never the same without Kara, but something close. She finds a way to bear the pain. What Kara would have wanted.

And then, as unexpectedly as her second love had, her first returns to her. Slowly, somehow, Andrea finds her way back into Lena’s life. She’s different now, too, and Lena learns she’s lost her life’s light as well. Lena would recognize that look in anyone’s eyes. There’s no hiding a lost love like that. But Andrea has had longer in her grief, her scars less raw. She’s able to hold her pain and still hold Lena, too.

Andrea is remorseful and repenting and so acutely aware of the new scars Lena carries, and in her own twisted sort of way she’s good for Lena. No one else can see Lena like Andrea does, no one else can stare into the depths of her sorrow without flinching. The world mourns Supergirl, and the few mourn Kara Danvers, but only Lena mourns her wife. Alex mourns her, of course, as do their friends, but not the way Lena does. Never that way. There is a hole in her chest that will never close, and no one else will ever fill it.

And Andrea knows that. She never tries to fill it, never tries to replace. She holds Kara in her heart with a begrudging reverence. She knows the only reason she has Lena is because of Kara. Because she died, yes, but more so because she loved her. Her love opened Lena up again. Gave her hope. Made her believe in second chances. Kara was the light, Kara was the greatest lover and friend and hero anyone could have. She’s a dead god, and Andrea finds herself a parishioner.

Andrea loves Kara, in her own way. She’s an aspiration, a tormentor, a ghost that haunts the halls of their life. She’s in every embrace they share, every whispered word. When she finally convinces Lena to marry her, their wedding photos hang proudly beside those from her wedding to Kara. They both mention Kara by name in their vows. Kara is as real in their relationship as she is. And it works for them.

The jealousy is always there, what with living in the shadow of a fallen superhero, but it’s manageable. She knows she can win against a dead woman. And the pain and humiliation and constant pick of jealousy at the back of her skull is worth it because Lena is worth it. No one is worth more than her. And Andrea tries to make her happy - she promised that to Kara in her vows, after all. She made vows to Lena, and then made vows to Lena’s love: I will honor and cherish her as you would. I will protect her as you would. I will love her with all I have, as you would. I know the shoes I’m filling, and I will spend my life proving I’m worthy.

Andrea meant her vows and she keeps them. She loves Lena, and in her own way Lena loves her, and it’s enough. She’s happy. Andrea is so happy, and sometimes she sees that happiness in Lena, too. They build a life together and it’s good.

Then one day, Kara comes back from the dead, and everything falls apart.

Irisvia "Iris" Ran-Kaniska

The Crown Princess of Ishabana born from Queen Himeno's studies on DNA splicing to have a child made from the DNA of herself, Rita, and Morfonia.

Due to the difficulties of creating a child from more than 2 parents, she was carried in one of Ishabana's Incubators to keep track of her growth and stability. The first trimester was under Himeno's care due to Ishabana's stable climate before being able to be cared for by Rita and Morfonia in Gokkan a couple weeks at a time to allow her to bond with all parents. Rita and Morfonia would try to visit Ishabana as much as possible since the Egg would spend most of its time there.

Because she is of royal blood, Iris has to stay in Ishabana most of the time which has caused issues as she was born when Rita was still King. While her Gokkanian parents do visit, sometimes Himeno would have to take her to Gokkan in order to see them more often. Rita stepped down from being King after Iris's 2nd birthday since their workload often prevented them from seeing their daughter. Morfonia was able to find ways to make the workload easier for herself once she became King so she could still spend time with the child. Both are often seen taking naps together which makes Rita and Himeno snap photos and cry from the cuteness.

Her hairclips are asymmetrical on purpose. Himeno does it as a nod to her Chapter 2 dress and Rita's collar and hair. Her skirt is designed to look like flower petals so her outfit is essentially butterflies on a flower.

Her hair has a pink tint due to Himeno's pink highlights from her natural blonde.

How she refers to each parent:

Rita - Papi (パピ). Taken from "Papillon" as Rita didn't want to be called "Papa" after Himeno called them such so they compromised.

Himeno - Mama (ママ)

Morfonia - Ha-ha (母). Morfonia doesn't mind "Kaa-san/-chan" but due to Iris's upbringing, she calls Morf "Ha-ha". (She suggested "Mami" but Himeno rejected it bc it meant she'd match Rita and they already rejected "Papa".). Iris does eventually call her "Kaa-san" as she grows up.

Blake Snow and Red Snow

Blake and Red are kind of in a relationship for 3 years, they are almost 20 years old and have lived inside of the cave in Mt. Silver with Silv and Gold, originally the four were supposed to be dead but they got somehow brought back to life and now they all live inside of the cave in Mt. Silver which pretty much became their home, despite snowstorms appearing once in a while, they are like a family at this point.

Blake is more of a caring guy who helps others even if he looks like a zombie, he is always cheerful despite the frostbite basically being a part of his body and he is immune/invulnerable to cold (i think thats how you say it?), he only owns his Typhlosion which is slowly recovering from its damage that was caused on Mt. Silver, so he still has his good old friend by his side. (Blake also has a prosthetic leg and arm, and an eyepatch, mostly to just.. somewhat remain normal and not as a bloody man with frostbite hueh)

Red however is still cold and silent, he only speaks or shows any sort of emotion is when he's with Blake, the only one he can sort of trust, despite the fact that their pokemon died when they fought at the peak of Mt. Silver, and Blake and Red also dying in the end but then got brought back to life for unknown reasons. Red still owns his pikachu (Blake mostly calls it a killer rat due to it's appearance and it's behavior, but it's mostly friendly, unless you threaten it of course) (The reason why Red has so much cover on himself its because he is still vulnerable to cold even after everything thats happend, but he just cant die)

Gold and Blake arent related, even if they are the same person but from different creepypastas and storylines (same game too), they mostly just treat each other like brothers, they dont really care that both of them are just dopplegangers of Ethan, who is the original "Gold". its all fun and games until you see people that look like you and have missing parts of their body, truly traumatising, isnt it? (Honestly tho if Silver were to see Blake (Ethan's doppleganger) dating Red. expect Silver to be run over by a truck cuz he has never been this petrified before /hj)

Pirate AU but make plum a deep sea monster, peach being a rowdy captain of her crew chases after this monster. Everyone believes this is because she wants to kill the beast and claim the bounty, as many try to do, and fail.

Truth is that monster is her EX and she wants her back.

Her crew watch in in disbelief as she calls out to the creature in the depths with such sweet regards, refuses to fires shots at her, doesn’t draw a weapon, and they all expect her dead when plum yanks the woman off the deck of her ship into the icy waters.

Through being choked out, peach managed to utter how beautiful she still gets when she’s angry, plum realises who it is and eases off. Just a little. The pirates got a lot of nerve showing her face here again.

Peach proceeds to try to rekindle their love, woo the monster and win her back. Queue plenty of soft sappy idiot moments, watching plum literally destroy entire fleets while she sits all soft eyed, leant on the railing where she oversees her crew (all of which as terrified they’re next) a deep smitten sigh seeing that monster utterly wreck countless ships. What a gal.

I’d watch that show for sure.

“i’m not going to write this” you say as you simultaneously create a tag for any future instalments in the same universe. (i see you and i agree lena should have two wives.)

Listen obviously I’m not going to write this story BUT just imagine…. The tension, the forced conversations as Kara and Lena both pretend to still be the women they were all those years ago, pretend like they aren’t strangers with nearly a decade of distance between them. With Kara and Lena experiencing an anxious desperation to get away from each other as deep as their desire to never leave each other’s sight.

Andrea goes to bed before them - she has to, she’s trying to be strong but even she isn’t strong enough to navigate the sleeping arrangement - and when she wakes up in the middle of the night it’s not a surprise to find Lena’s side of the bed empty and untouched. The predictability doesn’t lessen the burn. The guest room sits empty, though, and instead she finds Lena curled up in a ball on the couch with Kara sleeping beside her. Not on the couch, no, instead sat propped on the floor at Lena’s feet, her hands gripping right at her ankles in her sleep. Like she was scared if she let go for a second Lena would vanish.

Everyone wants to know what this means for them - Kara was dead legally, so their marriage was voided in the law, but then Kryptonians mate for life, and it’s not like Lena ever really let her go in her heart - but they have no answers. It’s clear they don’t fit together anymore, not any of them, but the idea of any one of them letting go is unimaginable. So they fight and they fake it and they find ways to connect as the new, scarred versions of themselves, and there’s a palpable jealousy between the three of them.

Andrea can feel Kara’s eyes burning into her when she comforts Lena, when they share well-worn jokes Kara never learned. And Andrea can see the longing in Lena’s every move, every word, and it burns and burns and burns. Andrea stares at Kara and wishes she had stayed dead. Her dreams are filled with the other woman: dreams of her dying again, of her never returning at all. Of her smirk as Lena tells Andrea they’ve run their course because “really, did you think I’d pick you over her?”

Andrea dreams of what Kara’s mouth must taste like, of how her lips and tongue might move against her own, what she must do to have Lena so fully under her spell. Perhaps if she could kiss her then she could know how to give Lena everything she’s been missing for seven years. Maybe then she could be enough for her. She feels almost desperate thinking about it.

And Kara burns just as deeply in her own way, Andrea can feel it. Kara’s eyes track her every move, always studying and analyzing and overwhelming her. The questions are endless every day - tell me about your life, what do you love to do, what makes you tick.

“You are the one person she chose after me. She wanted you,” Kara explains after Andrea’s furious refusal to answer her forty ninth question about her perspective on things. She’s staring at her with a hunger Andrea feels in her toes. “I have to understand. I have to know every part of you.”

Kara looks at Andrea like she wants to devour her whole. Andrea feels the same.
