this is akka!! she's my oldest oc of all time (i made her when i was 6 <3 she's gone through a LOT of revisions since then and she used to be INSANELY overpowered and she still kind of is but in a more muted fits-into-the-worldbuilding way. but regardless she has a VERY special place in my heart <3) she's a dragon!! there are 2 main types of dragon, elementi (fire, water, etc) and alloyi (metals and minerals, much rarer and more powerful) and she's alloyi <3 her metal is copper !! so as an alloyi dragon she has harder scales, enhanced strength, and is just all around more powerful than a normal elementi dragon. but the dragon king ""drafted"" her into his private guard when she was just a hatchling (he does the same to all the other alloyi dragons because they're so powerful and he doesn't want them to be a threat to his rule) and so she was raised to be a killer pretty much from birth. but on her first mission she was ordered to kill civilians and she refused, and so she had her ability to take her dragon form stripped away by the dragon sages and she was banished. so she started wandering the human kingdoms taking work as a mercenary, and she also started tracking down dragon sages to try and get them to return her dragon form to her. she's rough and abrasive and an asshole and she likes to think that she's a loner (spoiler: she's not <3 she met a guy while doing mercenary work and they SPEEDRAN enemies to siblings and now theyre inseparable) and she's also a huuuge softie. but she's not gonna tell anyone that. and she also has trust issues <333333333333 and she's asexual and kisses girls sometimes but only when its convenient. but at her core behind all the prickly grumpy assholery she's soooo kind and wants to be gentle but doesn't quite know how and she has a bleeding heart that she's had to hide to protect herself and ouhgughghghhhh <333333333333333333333333

this is orla !! she's the ringleader of the team <3 she was a knight until she realized the king she was supposed to serve was working with the enemy and so she decided to take him down w the power of friendship and the magic sword she found <3 she hired akka and vinali to help and instead of having a normal mercenary job they ended up joining her found family <33

this is kione !! he's the son of the corrupt king and he's still doing everything he can to take his dad down (the king is a HORRIBLE father btw) and eventually he becomes the king after they win the war and he . is actually a good king lmao

this is ether !! he has. probably the most lotr inspiration lol do u remember those ghost guys under the mountain ?? yeah. ether's kingdom was cursed to roam their lands as spirits unable to move on to the next world but the curse didn't really take as much of an effect on him so he was still able to Think and Reason and he was like. more alive than a ghost but definitely more dead than a human. and he was also able to control the ghosts around him and he basically . just wandered his ruined home for HUNDREDS of years not able to remember anything about his old life (not even his NAME. ether isn't his real name but he doesn't know what else to call himself. and he can't remember his family or how he got there. <3) and when he joins the team they manage to break the curse and the ghosts all move on to the afterlife but ether stays behind. because once again. he isn't fully dead. and he even becomes 99% alive after the curse lifts (he's still cold all the time. and slightly unsettling in other ways) (and he still has his ghost controlling powers <3) but he joins the team on their mission and has to relearn how to be alive <3

and last but not least, halo !! he's a sky elf who was kidnapped by slavers from his tribe when he was young and he managed to escape a few years later but he didn't feel like he'd be able to go back home because after the things he'd done he didn't think he'd fit in anymore </3 and so he just kinda wandered around human kingdoms stealing and fighting to survive until he sorta accidentally joined the found family group <3 he has catholic levels of guilt and also insane amounts of trust issues and trauma Up To Here <3 he's the other half of the pairing and it takes a long time to work up to it because he's so withdrawn that it takes a while for his walls to come down. but i love himb <33

rn the trolls in my brain are izmera, baster, and rhiati... i love those guys :'3 mostly thinking about rhiati at the moment

i dont explore my characters stories suuper in depth on the blog, as most of the interactions and lore talk is done on discord, but i do like rambling abt them any chance i get! and i have a lot of big feelings on the intricate detailing of each of their stories... more + extra art under the cut :]

rhiati's story was written originally as a tragedy; they were never meant to survive the virus taking over their mind and body, and they were doomed to become the monster they always feared they would. now, however, their fate is up in the air--my friends and i have spoken a lot about a potential cure, and so i might play with that :] but definitely not until after rhia has gone through everything i have planned for them JKHDG their story may have a happy ending, or it may not, but its meant to be tragic nonetheless

i love them very dearly... i say as i put them through the horrors KJFHDGDG but its true!!!

currently in their story, rhia's moirial, aselin, is housing them in their hive on the outskirts of town. aselin is within a sort of guild that hunts shadow droppers, and rhia got involved one day by not listening to aselin's warnings to stay away. they got attacked and subsequently bit by one of the monsters, and have since been hiding out in aselin's hive as the two try their best to maneuver their situation

eventually, as rhia's infection gets worse, and it gets harder to hide the fact that theyre turning, the guild catches wind of whats going on and the two moirails flee for rhiati's life. from there, the story is less concrete as rhia's fate isnt yet decided, but they end up on the run for either the remainder of rhia's life (likely a few months before they fully turn), or until they find/make a cure :]

there's obviously a bunch of detail ive left out, but thats the general gist! these 2 make me emotional.....................

WHATSUP GRACE, your 10/14 fic has me pondering....tbh I was going to comment this but I ran out of characters ahaaaaa. IM SORRY IF THIS IS TOO MUCH OR IF YOU REALLY DONT CARE AKSKEIE it's just that your fic was amazing and it made me consider the lore implications it has on the series, because let's be honest: the multiverse is real, even if you don't believe it the fact that the theory exists proves it's point. That's how I think of it anyways. My point is that this story is totally real in another universe and so I HAVE QUESTIONS

first, did Tentoo stay in the parallel universe to be with Rose? Or did he stay and find an alternate Y/n? Would 10 have at all considered letting Tentoo stay to be with Y/n? Second, whY WHYWHY did he finally come back for her? Did 11/12/13 think of her? Did they visit her/check on her without her even realizing?! And third, more of an assumption, he broke up with her because he knew he was regenerating right? He must have figured that 11 was his last life if he'd already been through the 50th anni. Fourth, what does River think about her? Fifth, I love you

AHH IM SO GLAD YOU ENJOYED IT. There are a lot of holes that were mostly put up for interpretation but I'll try to clarify and rectify possible mistakes and questions the best that I can.

1) In this fic, tentoo gained the Doctor's feelings - moreso absorbing every remaining ounce of longing the Doctor had for Rose, unbeknownst to the Doctor. So naturally, the best outcome for all was Tentoo and Rose being happily placed together and left in the parallel world.

2) Prior to regenerating, the Doctor realised he no longer held love for Rose. instead, Y/n became a constant in his mind. He became regretful; full of anger. All pointed towards himself - leading to his inevitable demise. After his regeneration, he still thought of Y/n a lot, but everything he did to her made his hearts ache, so he'd push it away. Though, sometimes, against his better judgement, he'd land the tardis someplace quiet, and he'd watch her from afar.

Turns out Y/n's head wasn't playing cruel tricks on her with the taunting traces of the tardis' wheeze.

3) The Doctor didn't talk much about Y/n, too ashamed at himself for the way he'd treated her, though occasionally he'd accidentally slip up and mention her. Consequently, after their marriage, he told River all about her. And River could see the love and hope he held in his hearts for her. She was respectful and understanding. She even scolded him lightly, which he agreed he deserved.

But ultimately, the Doctor and River's relationship didn't change. Only with the Doctor being a little more withdrawn than in the show.

4) 14 was entirely devoted to Y/n. Internally, he had made a vow to never hurt her again. In this regeneration, he realised he had reverted to his former self because he had unfinished business with her. He desperately needed and yearned for his former fiancèe.

Y/n fought with her self respect and urge for travelling. Should she stay, knowing he was capable of mentally destroying her like he had before? Or should she leave before it was too late?

She took ahold on his hand, allowing him to giddly lead her to the tardis. Gradually, she let her walls slip, noting how different this version was. She no longer felt like a second thought.

And they both agreed that one trip just wasn't enough.

So, she did as she had done years before. She stayed, conscious that she may, as she had previously, live to regret that decision.

*Completely up to you if you want to decide they had a happy life, Y/n sticking around for the 15th, too. I like to imagine that was the case, but is anything really that easy when it comes to the Doctor?*

Michael. Yeah he's a murderer and has no idea what he's doing but he's a cowboy while doing it. Guy of all time. He sucks yet I find myself asking myself "what would Michael do?" Sensitive angsty cowboy is my gender.

Yang Wen-li from LOGH too. Saw someone recently say that they forget he's their boyfriend until they watch LOGH again and so true! My boyfriend Yang Wen-li. Also Charlie Don't Starve. I found out as an emotionally vulnerable teenager that the monster that kills you in the night in the game actually used to be a sad scared little lady and have not been okay since.

2. Last adventure you've been on

Gahhhhh Im so boring. In my loved ones arw boring too "what are you doing dont knock on the door of that sketchy club" or "no lets not swim any deeper" "no we are not buying marshmellows for the alligators".

In college we were not allowed to do some certain engineering experiment s on campus so we went a few miles into the forest behind the school. We found rusted abandoned farm equipement which was really gorgeous in a spooky way as well as abandoned construction for some building. What experiment? Well. Nothing got burnt down so it really doesnt matter.

I guess I went to some afterpartys at some veryyyyy sketchy places but tended to leave before I could witness any crazy stories.

I hope to visit friends in Europe and Asia (and other parts of the states but I can do that now if I get my shit together....) when Im somewhere with better PTO so that will be an adventure to me. Tourist-y travel doesnt appeal to me Id like to actually see what life is like there.
